Saw this circulating around so had to do it. I've had this grumpy gal in my brain for months now. She's still very much a work in progress.
Very condensed WIP background: Basically, Lisetta was born into a dalish clan on the outskirts of Antiva. As a child, her clan was killed by bandits. Realizing she had magic, the bandits kept her alive and sold her off to crows for a quick buck.
My goal with her character is to make her be a complete 180 from my canon inquistor, Vinara Lavellan. Vinara was extremely kind/diplomatic, sometimes to the point of naivety. She believed deeply in the dalish and trying to reclaim lost elven history.
Lisetta is going to be incredibly distrustful of elven culture and the dalish at large. The dalish, their traditions, and their gods couldn't keep her safe, so to her its all a load of horse shit. Her personality is going to be direct/aggressive: 1. cause I've never played a character like that in a Bioware game before (just want the challenge tbh), 2. growing up in the crows forced her to be incredibly distrustful/independent because at the end of the day the only person she could ever truly trust was herself.

i think its somewhat likely, i've been told online and offline multiple times it seems like it, but its not something i'd want diagnosed or confidently say 100% "hey i have this !" so instead i'm just like. hey im struggling saur much with these traits halp

Some. Sort of spectrum. From most likely to least likely.
And by kitten-pile I mean This
I'll put a transcript under cut for easier reading! 🫡
How Likely Are They to Kitten Pile?
__
Mirabilis: "are you tired..? do you need a break...? ohh we could take one together..."
If she likes/trusts you even a little, she wants to cuddle about it!!!
-
Sharena and Peony: "Okay! Yay! 💖"
Shari: The only thing stopping her is social conventions -- making her MORE likely to jump at the opportunity!
Peony: Learning social awareness as she goes, and is surprisingly good at it?
-
Triandra: "Aren't we a bit old for that...? But... even so..."
Embarrassed, conflicted, but feels strangely nostalgic at the notion...
-
Plumeria: "I'm not so petal-soft that I'd resort to such INDECENCY, I mean even if your intentions are Pure USE YOUR HEADS YOU FOOLS!! Girl, the IMPLICATIONS!!!"
Desperately wants to join the kitten-pile, but her Issues and Pride gets in the way.
-
Moe: "aw, so cutes!"
Generally touch adverse, extremely picky even with the people it likes/loves -- everything is entirely on its terms.

ooh yeah me? totally normal about spinner and his devotion to shigaraki, absolutely. yea. totally average about them. Definitely not thinking about Spinner having to fight his way across a battlefield only to get to a downed Shigaraki, who appears lifeless and Spinner's frantic grabbing to see if there's any life left, maybe shake him, maybe tear up over his body with head bowed, begging him to come back and show him that horizon that Shigaraki promised him. haha totally normal and not at all upset that they didn't get a scene together during the ending of the final war arc. haha. yeah. i'm definitely not thinking about heart wrenching scenarios.

Fascinating things happening on my ClanGen file rn
A pair of apprentice siblings team up to kill two full-grown warriors (who were mother and daughter btw) for the unforgivable crime of *checks relationship logs* being kind of annoying
One of their mentors is bloodthirsty, and another was shameless but became bloodthirsty shortly after this, so they might have helped their apprentices out
Also the apprentices' mom is in the Dark Forest, bcus they were found with her dead body as kittens and when I looked at her profile I realized it'd make a lot of sense if she was exiled from her prior Clan bcus she was evil, sooo yeah she was probably training them
The bloodthirsty mentor is a rogue who joined the Clan last year and may have killed an apprentice about two moons before joining. Also he has a deep DF bond
The shameless mentor is a former kittypet who joined the Clan two years ago and always felt pressured to prove herself worthy to the Clan due to that, so her apprentice's evil dead mom might have recently started training her in her dreams, hence her newfound bloodthirst
Shortly before those two cats were murdered, a fairly young warrior, the son of the mender (my universe's word for medicine cat) and one of the most respected warriors in the Clan, had a vision from StarClan. It was likely meant to warn him of the murders but he couldn't decipher it in time. He does figure out what it means shortly thereafter tho
Instead of, yk, talking to the leader or smth, this guy apparently decides to go full on vigilante justice, and he orchestrates an avalanche to kill one of the murderous apprentices, and the other supposedly died to greencough but honestly I wouldn't be surprised if he used the knowledge of herbs he got from his mom to at least speed up the process
Both apprentices were sent to the DF, which I feel kinda bad about but honestly even if StarClan gave them a second chance (which they might have) their mom would definitely drag them into the DF with her
Meanwhile the elderly deputy finally decides to retire
You'll never guess who replaces her
It's the bloodthirsty former rogue with a DF bond who might have killed an apprentice
The literal next moon the leader loses all five of his remaining lives to being mauled by dogs (TOTALLY a coincidence! [sarcastic]) which leads to said bloodthirsty deputy becoming leader
I'm scared
This all happened in the span of like three moons. Btw.

One of the things that bothered me in K.ingmaker Histories is that threatening, robbing, and killing people and participating in organized crime was treated as fine and even humorous with no meaningful emotional consequences when the protagonists do it, but a lot of the episodic conflicts were those things suddenly becoming bad when they happen to them. Two of the characters are career criminals so their 'I've got mine' attitude makes sense, but the third worked in a tailor's shop until she accidentally killed her boss and ended up in a life of crime, and she never seems to stop to reckon with that at all?
Anyway I was really bothered by this but then she finally brought it up in a bonus crossover episode admitting that she's not comfortable with what they're doing but feels swept along with it, except it turns out she was confessing to the priest to distract him while her buddies rob the church, so I'm not really sure what to make of that.

six sentences saturday
There's a rustling, perhaps the sound of bare skin against fabric. Shen Wei doesn't straighten out of his bow. “General Kunlun?”
A soft sound, so quiet that Shen Wei wouldn’t have heard it if he wasn’t already listening for it. A sound so quiet that it wouldn’t have been recognizable, if Shen Wei hadn’t heard it just once before, and been playing it over and over in his mind since. Kunlun-jun’s voice, muffled into his own fist, saying Shen Wei.
hahahaha i don't know what i'm doing but it's certainly. something. it seems to be ... some kind of (EXTREMELY AHISTORICAL) historical au? with porn.
