✿ It's The Little Things - 3 ✿

A/N: @leafyturtle come get y'all Franky and Robin fluff! I'm excited for this one, lotsa faves in here >:3c

Franky

✿ Multiply his self-aggrandizing by 100, and that's how he sees you; he is your personal hype man! Every single insecurity, no matter how big or small, will be kissed away, because you are perfect, and you should definitely tell people as such. Wait, you're too shy and don't want to? No worries, Franky's got you, and he'll tell everyone himself. Loudly. No, he won't stop or tone it down; "The world needs to know how super you are!" He loves when you hype him up in turn, and uses it to show you how great self confidence is; and it will rub off on you. He's so proud when you declare how amazing you are, even if it's just to him! "AOW! That's right, babe, you are amazing!" He'll pick you up in those huge, strong arms of his, practically crushing you in a bear hug.

✿ Franky loves to make you any and all gadgets he thinks you'd like, or need. Just as he is constantly upgrading his body, he develops and re-develops things that make your life easier, or that bit cooler! While he likes to surprise you with them, seeing how your eyes light up in wonder as he shows you how it works, he loves it even more when you're involved in the building process; brainstorming ideas, designing, picking out the colour palette, he'll even let you use a blowtorch, just, please be careful, wait what was that twinkle of mischief in your eyes? Okay, no more blowtorch - leave it to the pro! It would kill him if you got hurt on his watch, he's meant to protect you!

✿ He's made up a comfy little alcove in his workshop so you can keep him company while he's working. Soft cushions, blankets, lights so can work on your own hobbies, it's perfect! Even when you were just friends, you were always welcome there, and it's become your little safe space. It's comfy enough to fall asleep there when Franky works late, and he even modified it so that there is room for him to sleep there too. While hanging out, you'll talk about everything, and nothing, what you're both working on, or you'll simply listen to music and enjoy each others presence, and that often leads to loud singing, especially on Franky's part. He'll share his cola with you too, you just bring the snacks - can't work on an empty stomach after all!

Robin

✿ Robin is very calm and reserved, especially compared to the rest of the crew, so her way of showing affection follows the same pattern. She'll put a gentle hand on your arm, and touch your foreheads together, but her favourite thing to do is to grow an arm out of your own, reaching down to hold your hand, all while on the other side of the room, smiling to herself. If your eyes are sharp, you'll catch the delicate blush on her cheeks when you bring your arm up to kiss her hand, or gently hold it to your cheek. She'll also make a pair of arms to wrap around your waist, or shoulders if you're sat down. She'll hold you personally too, but that is saved for your private quarters or the library.

✿ Part of her flirting is making dark comments and jokes; "I know the best way to your heart, dear." - "Through my stomach?" - "Oh no, that's not very efficient! It's anywhere between the 2nd and 4th ribs." She'll say it with such a loving gaze and gentle smile, and if you didn't know Robin better, you'd be worried she was plotting your murder, but that's just how she is, and you love her for it. She will also tell you all the gruesome details she finds in her books and research. Part of you suspects that she's purposefully trying to spook you so she can comfort you, but really she just finds these thing fascinating. Robin will be ecstatic if you can match her gallows humour, or if you have morbid facts of your own you can share with her.

✿ She takes great comfort in the fact that you love her unconditionally, and that you have always accepted her as she is, morbid interests, and former associations included, and she makes sure that you know she loves you all the same, no matter your quirks, flaws, and mistakes, for that is the beauty of love! You are each others port in the unrelenting storm of life.

Law

✿ Law is so used to losing the people he loves most, so for him to open up, it will take a lot of time, patience, and understanding. You can't push him on things, and will have to wait for him to come to you - he needs to feel like he has some control over the situation so he can make better judgement calls, and do something if it all goes wrong. It's nothing personal, he just doesn't want to helplessly watch his world fall apart again; he's older, smarter, and much stronger now, he will keep those he cares about safe. Once he's at that point where he feels like he's ready to be open and honest, he is completely dedicated and doggedly loyal, though he isn't very expressive with it.

✿ He shows his love through acts of service; making sure you are eating and sleeping well, tending any injuries you get in day to day life, moving you if you've fallen asleep in a weird place or position so you don't get any aches and pains, or catch a cold. Law hopes that you can feel the love he has for you in each action. He just wants to know you are healthy and well so he doesn't need to worry about you. Well, he says that, but he still worries, he can't help it. You'll need to use his own tactics against him to make sure he actually sleeps and eats instead of just working. It won't always work, sometimes he's working on things that are far too important, but he will relent otherwise.

✿ PDA is not a thing for him. At all. It's almost like he doesn't want to jinx things with the world seeing he has entrusted his heart with another again. On the Polar Tang, when it's just you and the crew, he'll be a little more open, placing a hand on your head or shoulder, matching your pace as he walks beside you, slightly gentler eyes, and the hint of a smile; so subtle, yet the crew sees right through him, and they like to tease you both. Nothing serious, but it still gets them the worst chores in response. In private, when you are alone is the only time will he allow himself to be vulnerable.

Kid

✿ Given how intense and aggressive he is, you have the patience of a goddamn saint, and guts to back you up. He refuses to lessen himself for anyone; he is who he is, and you can either accept it and embrace him fully, or you can, in his words, "Fuck right off!" It will take a lot to break through the immense barriers he has - he will shout, argue, insult, and to get through, you have to be able to withstand that without crumbling. Shout back! Show him you're not gonna let anyone walk all over you, not even him, earn his respect, then you can build up from there. Once you've wormed your way into that exclusive club of 'We aren't Killer, but Kid still cares about us," he will be ride or die with you, and when he realises he genuinely likes you, or hell, even loves you, he would burn down the world for you if you asked him to.

✿ Out in public, you get no special treatment. It's just safer that way. He can't afford to be looking over his shoulder every other minute to make sure no one is trying to get to him through you. He'll still keep an eye on you of course, but it's indistinguishable from him watching over the rest of the crew. On the Victoria Punk he will be possessive, but not affectionate. Kid will keep you by his side, or drag you onto his lap, just generally manhandling you really, there will be no mistaking who you belong to. Once you're alone he will actually soften up; he knows he's a lot, and he cares deep down, but he's still in charge, he is your captain after all. You should take advantage of this time to get all the affection out of him that you can!

✿ You're one of the few that are actually allowed to hang in his workshop, as long as you don't bother him. He'll entertain some conversation if he's just setting up, or having a break, but once he's in the zone, zip it. He's fine with you watching him work - he's good at what he does and he knows it, but seeing the admiration in your eyes is a nice ego boost. He'll make you things if the mood hits him, particularly bits of jewellery, as it makes it easier to manhandle you from the other side of the room. He's a busy man, he doesn't want to wait for you to look his way and walk over, he wants your attention now!

Killer

✿ Like Kid, Killer has a tendency to manhandle, but it's not nearly as aggressive; he's a big guy with big, strong muscles, and he just enjoys hauling you around like a sack of potatoes. It gives him the opportunity to hold you close, 'accidentally' touch your butt, and your laughter through it all is just so sweet. He greatly enjoys your presence when he's going about his day, and deeply appreciates any assistance you can offer, such as in the kitchen, and certainly when trying to manage his idiot best friend and crew, as he's essentially the de facto caretaker on board. Often you'll end up sat on his shoulders, acting as an extra pair of eyes and hands - no shenanigans go unnoticed!

✿ You have become an expert at reading Killer's moods and expressions through his mask, every slight shift of his body, and the angle of his head has a very specific meaning. It doesn't help that he's a quiet man in general; balancing Kid's incessant ranting and raving with his well thought out, straight to the point statements. He much prefers to listen to you talk, only talking when he has something to add to the mostly one-sided conversation. He loves having these 'chats' with you sat in his lap, head resting against his broad chest. Sometimes his goatee will tickle the top of your head, and he lives for those giggles.

✿ It will take a long time for him to feel comfortable enough to remove his mask, and you can bet he refuses to laugh around you for the longest time. Just be patient with him, and let him do things when he's ready, and don't make a big deal out of it if something slips; he'll be pretty mortified, so just giving him a loving smile and a gentle touch will reassure him that maybe the things he's insecure about, or straight up hates, aren't as big an issue as he believes them to be. Telling him he is perfect is appreciated, but not effective in building him up, since nothing is perfect really, but seeing you love him unconditionally certainly will give him a boost.

MOST POPULAR RIDER EVER FOREVER (FOR NOW) TOP 5 RANKING

"Kris, you hack fraud, what the hell? Wasn't this supposed to be posted a week ago?" Look I'm a busy girl sue me okay?

It was a hard fought battle with plenty of upsets, shocking reveals, and unexpected betrayals of fan mentality, but at the end 5 Riders stood the tallest at the top of the list!

Without further ado, our finalists!

#5: Kamen Rider Vram

One of our most recent Riders on the list, everyone's favorite antisocial pudding squid man bullied his way into the top 5 much to his own annoyance. And it's hard not to see why! Beyond his tragic backstory and lust for revenge, Vram has shown impeccable skills both in combat prowess and having the shockingly unique ability to sidestep Misunderstandings Plots in a single bound. While his recency may give him an unfair advantage, he certainly does earn high marks.

#4: Kamen Rider Gavv

Of course, it's only natural that the main Candy Boy himself beat out Vram. Our current (for a little while longer) Main Rider, Gavv leaps ahead to the unlucky 4th place! While the old guard may protest at his high position due to his current headlining status, Gavv hasn't entirely unearned his popularity! With a unique look and an even more unique fighting style, Gavv has set himself apart from his contemporaries. And not just that, but Gavv has managed to recapture the mentality of the classic Riders for a new era, redefining what it means to be a Rider for the modern age. In lieu of flowers, Gavv has requested fruit snacks as a gift.

#3: Kamen Rider Den-O

Racing in from the future, our favorite time-hopping Rider comes ever so close to the climax but fails to hit the top. With a colorful array of personalities and ever changing fighting styles, Den-O has remained an evergreen (or everred in this case) Rider in the eyes of fans new and old. And as he's still getting new content to this day, the (literal) hype train for Den-O will likely never die. Trends come and go, but Den-O is forever.

#2: Kamen Rider OOO

He might have 3 parts, but OOO takes the 2nd place on this ranking! Possessing possibly the most alternate forms of any Rider, OOO is a veritable rainbow of a Rider (in more ways than one) and with rainbows comes sunshine, naturally, and that certainly describes OOO to a T. Being one of the most tragic Main Riders in the franchise, OOO defies what fate hands to him and strives to become the bastion of happiness and joy to all around him. OOO is truly one of the best encapsulations of what being a Kamen Rider truly means, and even if he's not at #1 in popularity, he's #1 deep in my heart.

#1: Kamen Rider Double

He might be two people, but Double stands alone at #1 above all his contemporaries. After all, when you're your own best friend you don't need anyone else besides you do you? Still by and far the most popular entry point to the franchise, Double's cast and story remains one of the strongest the franchise has to offer, but that alone doesn't earn him the top place. With an eccentric personality, unique style of movement (and not just in combat), and gorgeously simple suit, Double likewise is a brilliant definition of what a Kamen Rider is at the plainest level. He may not be the flashiest Rider, or the most exotic, or even the oldest, but nevertheless he remains strong in the hearts and minds of the world. And that enough has earned him #1 on this list.

And that's our ranking! The full results will be released in audio form soon enough, and there's plenty of shocks and surprises to be had! Keep an eye out for that, but for now our winners bask in their victory above their contemporaries.

Introduction

This is a fan analysis about the results of 24 polls posted on Tumblr by the user @zeldatourney. Huge thanks to them to have organized this tourney.

(Keep in mind my first language isn't English, so I might make some minor mistakes)

This is a long post with multiple graphs, so I'm putting a "Read more" button here!

For each game, the question asked was "How high does [game] rank?" with 7 answers possible to choose:

S tier (One of the greatest)

A tier (A favorite)

B tier (I like it)

C tier (Meh)

D tier (I'd rather play something else)

F tier (AWFUL)

I haven't played this game

The poll started on the 2nd of December 2024 and ended the 9th of December 2024.

Disclaimer: This is not a representation of the Zelda community as a whole, but a result of people who saw and voted for the polls between those previously quoted dates.

For the rest of this post, I will simplify each game's name by its abbreviations. For example, "A Link To The Past" will be named "ALTTP". The polls didn't specify if it contains the original games or both the original games and the remakes. They will be named as such:

Collected data

Each poll being independent from each other, the number of votes varies from one poll to another.

For each games, I added the percentage (as picked up from the HTML for a better precision). The result is either 99.999, 100 or 100.001, so I sometimes cheated to add or remove 0.001 somewhere. Tumblr doesn't give you access to the exact numbers of vote per option.

So before ranking the games, I have to show you first what games are the most played. Adding all answers and doing:

Played (%) = 100 - "I haven't played this game" (%)

I'll use colours to differentiate 2D games (in terms of gameplay) to 3D games. I'll also highlight spin-off games and multiplayer games.

Here are the games played by more than 75% of players:

We can already see a huge pattern. All the 3D games are there. And the only 2D Zelda game to be played by 75% of players is ALBW. BOTW and OOT are the most played games of the sample, as those were huge turning points and both cultural and commercial success.

We can also notice the difference of 5% between the least played 3D game (MM) and the most played 2D game (ALBW).

Let's continue to look at the other played games:

EOW is most likely low as it's the most recent game, at this time, but also because it's not a 3D game. And the hype train was low compared to TOTK. (3 months of anticipation compared to 4 years)

And finally, the multiplayer games are the least played games, excluding COH. Also worth noting that all the spin-off games cited can also be played with another player, but it wasn't the main focus of the communication. COH being a musical tactical rogue-lite only appealed to a specific part of Zelda fans.

If these polls contained the CD-i Zelda games, Link's Crossbow Training and Tingle games, the score would probably be under COH, but we never know!

I'll keep these colours as labels, to recognize them better in the next images.

Alright. Time to share the ranking. Here is the global result, sorted by release date in North America:

It's kind of a lot to see! Overall, the games are pretty liked. So first, let's take a look at the disliked games:

Please note that the X-axis was zoomed, so we can see the result better.

We can already notice that AOL makes a huge contrast. As this game is considered as the black sheep of the franchise because of how different it is, its reputation mostly came from the difficulty of that game.

Almost a factor of 0.5 divides the first disliked game to the second. TFH the second disliked and the original TLOZ follows.

ALBW is the least disliked, with under 1%, counting D tier and F tier.

But notice the F-tier (red) line. It varies a lot, so let's take a look at the most hated games:

Yep, TOTK is third, this time. As I don't personally think it's awful, it definitively disappointed many by being too close to BOTW and having a lot of issues BOTW didn't have.

Nobody voted "F tier" for ALTTP nor OOT. Same for OOS but keep in mind this game was the least voted one too!

Alright, enough for the hate! Let's look at the most appreciated Zelda games.

Yep, the majority of Zelda fans like 22.5 out of 24 of the games! (TFH being exactly 50, I half-counted it!)

TWW is being almost unanimously appreciated, with almost 97%, and the second one to get this score is TMC, a 2D game, with more than 96%!

You can notice some gaps, like between ST and COH, and then between the Oracle games and TOTK.

Now let's look at the most loved games:

5 3D games are in the top 5, except for SS and TOTK. TMC is very close to beat BOTW and remains the most loved 2D Zelda game. Notice how SS and TOTK make a huge gap between the game before and the game after, like voters use them as references. The two Hyrule Warriors games are, in a funny way, between the Oracle ones.

Let's add a step forward and look at the S tier only:

Nothing changes for the top 9 games. However, EOW seems more nuanced and is less considered as best than TOTK.

Final results

And finally, let's rank them using the Majority Judgment:

The Majority Judgment was created to propose a more democratic way to vote. Each candidate has multiple mentions, and you (the elector) must attribute one mention to each candidate. Since this poll uses this exact method of vote, I decided to rank them all using the Majority Judgment. To count using the Majority Judgment, you must focus on the 50% axis, and look at the category that crosses it (more than 50%). That gives you the tier, and the best tier wins.

When two or more candidates get the same tier, there are multiple ways to rank:

The first way is to put a line at the middle and see which line has the higher percentage. (Less precise but more simple)

The second way is to divide it into multiple tiers by doing the first method again and again until each candidates has a unique tier. (More precise but less simple)

But since I didn't want to compare B++++ to B+++-, I used the first method. It's my democracy and I do whatever I want!

Just keep in mind that depending on the way to count these games may be swapped:

ALTTP and LA

OOA and PH

AOC and HW

SO, for the data. Top 5 is TWW, MM, TP, OOT and BOTW. To be honest, I imagined MM to be a more nuanced game, or at least more controversial, since it has a unique concept.

The A tier only contains 2D games, except SS. TMC, ST and ALBW are the favourite 2D games. ALTTP and LA are always very close. The last one of the tier is EOW.

Only mainline games are in the S and A tier.

The first game of the B tier is a spin-off game, followed by TOTK.

TFH was one vote away from being in the B tier. And no surprise, AOL is the last one.

guessing the episode!!! the later episodes are quite hard as I don't see much rendered footage in the trailer that match the episode titles art. (also not sure if some footage are from earlier episode)

S8E6

I feel like this one gonna be a heavy one? it's Beth and space Beth centric (or at least a parallel between them) the episode's title is referenced from The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. and the title art kinda remind me of Froopy land... I feel like this episode be beths flashback? like despite they pretty living a different life now they still lived the same childhood?

S8E7

this episode definitely gonna be similar to the observer rock or interdimensional tv type episode. (or maybe even the numbericon one (i haven't watch that one yet lol)) since the title referenced stranger than fiction. maybe Rick and morty watching the show abt the cone head guy and got suck into it? (the cone head guy look adorable though)

S8E8

this one i couldn't really find the footage in the trailer. so, i guess its this season big ep (or nothing at all lol) judging by the animatic, maybe the whole family are on vacation. they teleport the whole house and everything (or maybe just rick and jerry (and if so i'll wish for rick's downfall) the frozen smiths house in the title art indicate either thing went wrong on that island or that it from the other dimension (prime?🥺)

also another episode where they are waving a big bait in front of my face (jerry beach episode)

S8E9

ok i made a lot of assumption abt this episode lol cuz based on the title alone I think it might be an episode including A plot around morty and morty Jr. and B plot with rick and summer?

but based on the title art, it seem to be the same place as these bg art they posted a while ago. (seem like under ground city)

which give similar vibe to this scene in trailer. but this scene should belong to S8E3? or we are meeting another group of ricks and mortys???

S8E10!!

this title art make me feel a bit uneasy (despite how peaceful it look) this is another episode I couldn't find a footage that match it in the trailer. so, judging by the animatic. There is something important in jerry's mind that rick need to find? (or he just being test subject again lol) a lot of people have already pointed out that they could be finding memory rick. part of me wish we get to see jerry's hidden memory tho (i'm greedy for jerjer content lol)

and that conclude season 8. I wouldn't be surprised if i got some (if not most of them) wrong lol. this was fun to write. I haven't felt this much engage with the show for a while now. so its nice that this season did hype me up a bit :)

(Translation: TopHat just watched Dragons Rising S3 part 1 and she's currently very happy!!)

TopHat's Thoughts on Dragons Rising S3 part 1!!! (SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!)

First things first, I had a great time watching this! I was hyped for weeks!! The fights never fails to impress me and the animation is beautiful as always. And now I'm really excited for the 2nd part, imma talk about the biggest surprise characters before the main guys

Obviously we expected Morro to show up and it seems that even when completely separated in the merged realms, he's still atoning for his actions in Possession by cultivating Wu's teachings and protecting people, which was really sweet to see, and of course his conversation with Arin was expected. I hope that after Thunderfang is defeated, Morro can actually meet the ninja again and team up with them, especially since there's a chance Wu is alive.

Pixal was definitely a welcome return, the team just didn't feel complete without her. It is kinda sad that she didn't realise how long she was trapped for but at least she's reunited with Zane and Samurai X is finally back! I really loved the way she intimidated the Freebooters, made Rapton shit his pants and everything 🤣 anyways, glad my gurl is back!

Dareth made a small cameo and it seems like he's still trying to be a ninja even after all this time! thankfully the Arrakore didn't grant that wish, and it's also nice to see my boi's efforts in restoring Djinjago are paying off, it's looking beautiful!

Now onto the main guys!!

Firstly! No, Internet, Arin was obviously not gonna be evil, he's simply being manipulated by Ras, but he's still kind to others, willing to reason with others as opposed to unnecessary violence and he even rejects some of his teachings and is still on somewhat decent terms with the ninja, especially with Sora and Lloyd, the latter of which he risks his life for in the first battle against Thunderfang. And with Jay/Rogue revealing to the others that Arin's parents are still alive, it looks like Ras was only lying to him and using his emotions against him to fulfil his own agenda.

Sora is most likely to master her spinjitzu in part 2, but it's great that she was able to have that moment to reconnect with her bestie! And it was even interesting that when they were kids, he saved her from literally being trafficked, like, holy hell, idk what else you'd call that! Hopefully the other ninja can tell her that Arin's parents are alive so she can convince him that Ras is using him. No pressure!

Frak was great this season, I may have said it before but it's nice to see some heroic serpentine for a change. Appreciate that he's also trying to get through to Arin, admitting that Ras' teachings are flawed, I feel like Arin could've gotten the same experience under better circumstances

Wyldfyre continues to be goated, it was nice seeing her get obsessed with the arcade games whilst looking for Jay with Kai and Nya, it's also pretty cool that she managed to find a cure for the decay affecting Roby (caused by one of the forbidden 5). Where would the ninja be without her? tsk tsk

La-loyd and Ras, two sides of the custody battle, it's nice to see that he isn't having those visions so frequently but it seems that he is in a lot of danger from Thunderfang who will definitely be back for revenge. So it also turns out that Ras is lying to Arin about his parents, imagine using an emotionally distressed, grieving child for your own gain 😭 that's 16/17 realms worth of fucked up!! I get that he wants his home back, but toying with a child's emotions and dependence is not it bro... Like I said, I really hope Sora is informed about this somehow, someone needs to tell Arin

The Forbidden 5, man, those fuckers were creepy!! Especially the decayer and the one made of bugs!!! Like, I have a phobia of creepy crawlies (spooders) and seeing the inside of him filled with bugs was just... ewww 🤮 I think they're either dead now or their power was slurped out by Thunderfang, either way I don't think they'll be any trouble for now, they sure were a handful though!

And finally, Mr Thunder "Source Dragon Senpai Wouldn't Notice Me" Fang, I had a feeling he wouldn't be easily finished with in part 1, so they're gonna have to give it their all in part 2! And since the Arc dragon of focus defeated him once, is his natural opposite, and is literally one of the newer Lego sets only for £85.97, we'll definitely see them in part 2!!

Anyways, I literally watched this in one sitting hours ago, I was mad dedicated!!! But I'm glad I got to watch it! And I can't wait for part 2!! Idk if I've said this but DR is a great successor to the original series, because I feel like it's the best of both worlds, Lego obviously wouldn't get rid of the old ninja, that'd be awful for business so this is a good move! And honestly the new additions balance so well off of the ogs making a good blend of old and new.

twice album review: this is for (2025)

FOUR - 7/10

very interesting introduction to this album! the beat is hard and builds up a lot of hype for what's to come next.

it's definitely going to eat when it comes to stage performances as like an intro during concerts! there's a lot of creative routines that can be done to a beat like this.

ultimately i give this one an seven of ten just because it is only an intro (not even 2 minutes long). i hope they recycle this sort of vibe into a mini a mini album in the future.

i thought this was gonna serve charli xcx a bit more also. which disappointed me bc it didn't serve that rlly.

THIS IS FOR - 9/10

i automatically fell in love with this song, it's not my favorite off the album but i'm not disappointed in it!

it's feminine, it's fun, and it's divas supporting divas. the "beep beep beep" part is SO addictive alongside the chorus; speaking of, sana (1st prechorus) & dahyun (2nd prechorus) singing "i'm outside your door, so let's go don't let that" is going to be an ear worm for me forever. they emphasize door and let's go in a way that's so pleasing to me.

jeongyeon's voice during "i'll always be your ride or die" was phenomenal!

not to mention how delicious the m/v was! there were so many moments that i loved, everyone ate down and i loved the city setting.

OPTIONS - 8/10

the harp in this song caught my ear immediately.

i loved the introduction, the pre-chorus didn't do much for me personally but i do adore the chorus.

"on one condition, don't get too emotional" by jihyo OMG! i have always loved her vocals so it's no shock i love this part.

outside of how it sounds, i also liked the lyrics! the playful vibe is really fun and honestly? yeah, keep your options open. you're not in a relationship until you say you are -- just bc ur dming doesn't mean anything. normalize playing the game.

MARS - 10/10

first song on the album to feature korean!

the chorus is SO addictive, so catchy, SO GOOD! not to mention jihyo's "we are alive" in the post-chorus. it honestly reminds me of kpop demon hunters, like it definitely gives "me and my girls coming together to save humanity from evil". jihyo your vocals will forever be famous!

my only criticism of this track is that i wish it was longer. i also rlly hope there's a dance trend that comes out of this, or maybe a choreography made for this song so that i can learn it.

RIGHT HAND GIRL - 10/10

this song has got to be wlw. there is "i'm a supportive friend and i won't let you cry over a man" and then there's "don't cry over a man when i'm right here".

"take it, take it, take it all, baby / get it, get it, yeah, we can worry later / bend it, break it on your worst behavior / don't need nobody but your right-hand girl, oh" -- is this not wlw to you? not to mention the bridge later in the song! "who gonna love you through the thick and the thin? / uh-huh, your right-hand girl"

also wanted to mention "in the meantime, you need time, for me-time" sung by nayeon which could mean me-time for yourself but it could also mean me-time with your right-hand girl. again, wlw propaganda.

outside of possible queerness in the song, this song is genuinely addictive. very fun, with a chorus that you can get down to. i was whining my hips listening to it LOL.

another song that i wish was longer but deff a fav off this album.

PEACH GELATO - 9/10

don't be mad at me. this song is also wlw to me -- it gives "girl i met last summer and fell crazy in love with" + "one that got away" vibes

the soft guitar deff helps with the summery vibe. i think it's cute!

not my favorite but a rlly good song. i think this is one of the more popular songs off the album alongside mars and it's very deserved.

replayed this song three times because i really love the vibe.

very casual slay. the chorus outshines the verses for me by a bit. i don't have a lot of notes on this song but i do like it!

BATTITUDE (NAYEON, JEONGYEON, MOMO, & MINA) - 7/10

cunty but didn't serve all the way through.

i think the large beat in the back wasn't matched by their voices well in the chorus. i like the verses & pre-chorus a lot more

already obsessed with the guitar in the intro, very summer love/loss. it's upbeat even though the subject is letting go of a love that just didn't/wouldn't work out.

"i held on so tight / til' my knuckles were white / but if i can survive then i guess" leading into the chorus of "oh, if i can let love go / then i can do anything" is so beautiful to me, lyrics-wise. not to mention the high note on guess.

they broke that shit down in the bridge and into the final chorus btw.

probably one of if not my fav subunit song off this album!

G.O.A.T (MINA, DAHYUN, & CHAEYOUNG) - 6/10

i don't think the calm/chill vibe of the song matches the "i'm the g.o.a.t" sort of message

it's not bad but i just don't think the vibe matches the lyrics really well just bc when you proclaim yourself as the g.o.a.t it's usually a really big thing, higher energy, not so... relaxed.

i'm also generally not a fan of slower songs (not that this song is slow but it's slower) and i feel like that might play into why i don't like this song as much.

TALK (NAYEON & JIHYO) - 10/10

my toes curled just from the intro of the song.

the pre-chorus alone is heavenly -- the simple chorus works for this song, imo!

this duo is everything btw. i think this song & let love go are deff my top subunit songs. this song is a strong second to let love go.

"if you acting crazy, promise you i'm gonna know / hello?" part ate.

SEESAW - 7/10

i fw it! i do like that it came back to full group songs for the final 2 on this album.

"it's like your head's gonna explode" and then the build up to the chorus was beautiful.

sort of a slower song which isn't my fav but i do like it. it gets catchy after listening to it more than once.

HEARTBREAK AVENUE - 8/10

another song with soft guitar chords in the intro! so good. kind of a slow start imo but worth it.

the subject matter in this song is so real. "i'm seeing all the signs but i ignore the truth / and end up on heartbreak avenue" yeah it's like that sometimes!

dahyun's bit in the 2nd verse is one of my fav parts of the song.

jeongyeon & jihyo together in the outro alongside with the guitar ending the song off was <3 chef's kiss to me.

OVERALL THOUGHTS:

i think this album is fantastic <3 a few rlly summery songs but all of them maintain a really playful and feminine vibe that's fun year round.

the title track is not the strongest song on this album but it's not trash and i definitely think some people are being a bit too harsh on it. is it the best on the album? no. mars and right hand girl ate that song up. still, it's a good song.

the weakest song on this album is g.o.a.t imo which is kind of crazy but i enjoyed four more than g.o.a.t

Liv opens her schedule. "Two more conversations..." At least the night is almost over. I have a feeling my head isn't gonna stop pounding 'till I sleep, though.

A sudden flash of light on her desk makes her flinch.

"Huh?"

A small potion bottle has appeared, most likely through a spell. She picks it up and looks at the little card hanging off it. 'For your headache.' It reads.

Her cheeks warm and a pleasant smile spreads across her face. He knows her so well. Even while they're both working he still thinks of her...

"Psh. And he has the gall to act like he's not sweet."

She downs the potion and sighs in relief when her headache fades. She makes an indulgent little chuckle and bites her lip.

I should visit him when I'm done...

Severus sighs and writes down the notes of the last discussion. He despises these nights, too. So much time wasted when he could definitely be doing better things.

His scowl hardens when he hears his door creak open. Another one? Great.

He looks up.

Oh, no, it's not. It's Olivia. She shuts the door behind her and leans against it. she regards him with an unreadable expression and for a moment both are silent.

"Is something the matter?" He eventually questions, expression a bit softer.

A smile spreads across her face. "No. But I thought I'd pay you a visit..."

He instantly gulps at her low tone and suddenly he feels hot at the collar. "You got the potion I sent."

"I did. It was... very sweet of you." She murmurs, approaching his desk. "I just had to show my appreciation somehow..."

"...What are you thinking..?" He looks up at her. Part of him is irritated and scandalised, he knows what she's doing, but also, he can't help but feel a bit excited about it.

"What do you think...?" She purrs, unbuttoning two buttons of her shirt.

His face darkens considerably when he's offered a tasteful view of the soft swell of her chest. Hastily, he looks away. "Really, Liv? C-can't wait until later?" He mentally curses himself at the tremor in his voice. "You know I am still working-"

"All the parents have gone. It's just us here." She plants her hands on his desk and leans forward, looking at him with heavy lidded eyes.

"...Surely I didn't send you a potion of lust." He grumbles, meeting her gaze.

"Haha. I don't need one to want you." She moves around the desk to come closer, to which he stands and stumbles back. She's the only one who sees him like this, this normally bitter and cold man now so flustered at her advances. He's not happy about the effect she has on him but at the same time... to be wanted so carnally is an intoxicating feeling.

"I'm warning you, Liv." He steps back whenever she steps forward, attempting to keep a stern expression.

"Elaborate." Olivia is enjoying the hell out of this.

She says nothing, just leans in slowly. Despite himself, despite his arguments, he's leaning forward too, almost instinctively. His grip loosens on her wrists and she slides them up, over his shoulders.

"Damn you... insufferable woman..." He mutters against her lips, eyes fluttering closed.

"You love it that way," She whispers and kisses him.

Almost instantly, his reservations melt away and his hands are sliding up her back, pulling her flush against him. Damn her, truly. Damn him for giving into her so easily. She plucks open the buttons keeping his long cloak draped over him and tosses it aside. He shivers a bit at the cool air hitting his back, but grunts and does the same with her cloak. With her neck now exposed, he presses warm kisses to the skin under her jaw, eyes closed. Her perfume is subtle but intoxicating, something foresty, something like the rain.

"Mm- Severus.." She leans her head back so he can reach better.

He groans. "For the love of... I could eat you whole if you'd let me," He murmurs under his breath, setting his teeth into a spot on her neck and making her squirm.

"Yes... I would let you." Amusement twinkles in her gaze.

"Don't say that..." He shudders all over and she soothes him with a gentle caress. Briefly he pauses, suddenly acutely aware of how 'out-in-the-open' they are, gulps, and rips open the door to his potion storage. "In here."

"Oh?" Liv purrs, sliding her hands over his waist. "Nice and private, mh?"

"Yes. Please." He grumbles, embarrassed but so unbelievably fond.

She's fine with that... she just wants him. She takes his face in her hands and kisses him again, walking him back into the storage room and closing the door so quick it gives a rather loud 'bang' against the doorframe.

There's shuffling, followed by a surprised gasp and a quiet chuckle in the dim light of the room.

In the hall, Lucius walks. He's on his way to the Potion's Master's office to discuss business. But strangely, when he gets there, nobody's around.

'What? Did he leave already?" The blond mutters under his breath, frustrated. "And here I was thinking he never left this room."

Just then, though, he hears shuffling and quiet bumping noises coming from a door to the back.

"What in the...?"

"Mmmh... oh, Sev..."

"Fuck." He buries his face in her hair, gripping her waist tightly as his hips meet hers time and time again. She leans against the shelves, eyes closed and pressing back into him. Every time he ruts his hips forward, bottles and ingredients on the shelves rattle and shake. Her dress is hitched up far enough for him to pound her cunt but nothing more. "He's known me long enough to know that if he does, I'll hunt him down." She walks towards him- a little unsteadily from the pounding she just got. "Besides, it's our word against his."

Severus looks doubtful for a second but then sighs and holds her as she sways unsteadily on her feet. "If you're sure. But should problems arise I will blame you for this."

She rolls her eyes. "Fine, but you have to admit that was fun." She nuzzles him affectionately.

He chuckles, fondly. "Yeah... you surprised me with that collar."

"Did you like it?"

He's silent for a long while.

"Mmh?"

"No. I don't know." He grumbles, embarrassed.

"Would you be open to trying it again? With a proper leather collar, of course." She strokes her fingers down his chest.

This past week (and a half) I listened to Return to Zero by Ricky Jamaraz

whoa, now there's actually easily accessible high-quality album art online!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️(4 out of 5 stars)

I really enjoyed this album, every time this man releases a new album I'm shocked, he has so many out and they're better every time. I think the principle that this was all recorded on cassettes is crazy and just shows how much care was put into the album. I'm glad to see he has fun with making music album after album. It also makes me feel a bit shit about my state of making music because I am practically the same age as him yet I haven't released 7 full-length albums.

Opinion time! (as always, not opinion order, just album order)

"Pills 4 The Pills" is a brilliant 2nd track. It is hype and sets the mood for this album to be goofy while still coping with the terrible topics this album deals with. To write a silly goofy song about Big Pharma that just makes me want to dance is crazy. It's not a super deep song. The drums are nice, and the main guitar riff is super catchy. This album has some of the best drums of any album he's put out yet and it adds a nice layer. The chorus is super catchy and I love 2 parts to the bridge. The drum break is nice and really sets a bar for his music going forward. The final chorus is so much fun with the random noises and all of the things going on.

"Making Movies" is definitely the goofiest and the freakiest song on the album. I love the drums going into and in the chorus. This sort of song definitely was not what I was expecting but it is such a great song. I love the little piano glissando in the choruses, it adds just that little bit of theatre and I love it. This song got stuck in my head the most this week.

"Sammy" is a completely different mood from the last two songs dealing with the suicide of a roommate/friend of the speaker. It's a classic happy-sounding song through the intro but very quickly shows its hand with just the first line with very blunt lyrics. This song is probably my favorite singing on this album. This song has a lot going on with the guitar, synths, and drums all going on and it adds a layer that you can ignore the lyrics and just vibe adding a layer of irony which I just personally love in music. I love the piano being included in the outro, it feels like the character has coped with the death better than earlier in the song but still isn't healed all the way. There is also great lyricism here that goes for the rest of the album, which is full of metaphor.

"Where'd You Get Those Bruises" [CW: Domestic Abuse/Child Abuse] What a gorgeous, gorgeous song about domestic abuse wow. The guitar is beautiful and the singing is too. The lyricism feels so innocent and augh, what a sad, beautiful song.

"Meals" [CW: ED] This has the best drums on this album I love the final chorus so much, it sounds so angry and makes such a great song, the topic... not so much

First off it looks like the kidos are mad and honestly that feels like a good sign I'm going to like this episode. Serious Jay is one of my favorite types of episode. Also didn't know they had a ship name for them. I guess it makes sense that kids would ship them but like... anyway what does "I thought he really liked her mean?"

Ok two things

1 if Jay has actually been making her pay for ice cream... no that hasn't happened... that can't have happened. It's a joke... all I'll say is it better be a joke

2 I mean they have been kinda friends. They're at least good acquaintances. Don't get me wrong I completely understand if she want to stop being friends but with some of the previous episodes the did actually have some form of friendship. Not GOOD friends but still.

OK... I'm not upset it's in the episode as it is an important element, but I'm not sure if she wasn't clear. She might not have been I'll check the episodes but honestly even if she was I'm not sure Jay was ready to listen up until this point. He needed something to put things in perspective.

RAP:PUBLIC Ep.10 Part 1 Thoughts

Serious spoilers in this one. Seriously, if you don't watch any other episode before the finale, you should probably watch this one because it basically sets up the next (final) 2 episodes.

We start off with the 3rd round of KILL THEM ALL cypher mission.

Fleeky Bang just keeps getting better and better! WOW

Loopy next. He did his verse from "King Loopy"!

Then lots of verses that are cut short. Osun next. Noh Yunha said he uses the body roll dance too much lol. He's good.

Reddy next. He's so cool and laid back. He doesn't even put down his red bull lol. At this point he takes the top spot from Loopy.

Alright, Cocona is adorable. She finally grew on me. Also, her style is so unique (clothes and rap wise).

Mckdaddy is really good. He can rap fast and other flows that are more rhythmic too. His verse was dope.

Haon's rap style is too cool. Oh my god why are ALL of his verses fucking amazing?!

I can't even lie. I'm glad to see Jay Park. He's fun as the MC here. They aren't showing him too much but they still show his vibe a bit.

Mckdaddy got first place for round 3. Block 6 won 2 out of 3 round so far, I think.

Loopy goes first. He does well as expected.

Nosun from the same Block goes next.

Reddy goes after a few others. He did well. He's laid back again but I think others had higher energy so he won't win.

Noh Yunha again. His verse seems like it fits this beat perfectly.

Don Mills next. He does great.

I still like Yunha's verse the best.

Mckdaddy is using a good strategy. I think Block 2s issue is that they come out too early. Why do they always go first?

Anyway, mckdaddy's verse was good but not as good the one that he won the last round with.

Mckdaddy won again. I feel like Yunha was best though tbh.

Round 5 starts

Tray B first. He kills it as expected.

Haon and Khan hype up Jtong to rap. Korean Gangster Dracula. It feels like he's threatening to beat everyone up if they don't vote for him lol

Haon next. He kills it. Duh lol. "Make them retire if they treat me wrong." YES! THAT PART! LOL

Haon got first which pushes Block 3 to 3rd place in the last round.

Round 6.

If block 1 doesn't win they are eliminated.

Zene the Zilla comes in STRONG first. It sounds like it's his own song. "I live everyday like I'm the boss." He killed it!

Double Down's verse was cool. Fit well on the instrumental too. He beat Zene luckily it's his teammate.

Next is Polodared. "We're not meant to be because you're Hongdae style and I'm Gangnam style" lol. He killed it too. I think he'll take first. He's also from Block 1 so it won't matter.

(Side note: What style am I? Definitely not Gangnam style. Maybe Sinchon style since I lived there for 6-7 weeks? Lol)

Since comes out while I'm contemplating my style. She's "Queen" style lol. She kills it was usual

Boi B knows his team can't win even if they take the win this round. He still goes to rap just for the love of it and the fans! Respect!

Jo Gwangil goes last this round.

Isn't there a mass elimination after this round? I gotta be honest. I'm sick of seeing crying. I hope they keep that to a minimum. I hope I don't sound like an asshole but omg that's ENOUGH lol

Anyway, Gwangil Jo killed it.

Block 6 wins due to Jo Gwangil.

Block 6, Block 2, and Block 3 are the top 3.

But there's a "Hidden Match". Only one member from each block will compete in a cypher. The one who gets the most votes gets the 7000 for their team.

I think with 7000, block 6 (1st) and Block (2) will be safe. There's a possibility that they'll only be knocked down to 2nd and 3rd place, respectively, if they don't win. But block 3s spot can be taken if they don't win. They can end up in 4th or lower.

Tray B goes first and does well.

Then Punchnello. He kills it too.

JP goes and does well.

Then Since. She's good but I think either Tray B or Punchnello will win.

Mckdaddy next. They seem to really like Mckdaddy's style. Idk though.

I'm not 100% confident in my predictions on this one lol

They won't announce yet. There must be more to this mission?

Oh there's more rounds. Oh ok. I guess I don't understand the rules lol

Gwangil goes first and kills it.

Jtong next. He's so intense again.

Zene next. He's good but he won't top JTong or Gwangil I think. "Q made the right decision and I prove it" FACTS!

Cocona next. Somehow she reminded me of Lil Kim at some parts.

Noh Yunha did well. But I think Jtong or Gwangil will win.

1st place: Block 6 (Gwangil Jo won round 2 over Jtong) 58,000 total

2nd place: Block 3. (Since won round 1 of the hidden match. So my prediction of Punchnello or Tray B was wrong) 45,000 total

3rd place: Block 2. 43,000 total. So they were pushed down from 2nd place

4th place: Block 1. 37,000 total. Man, Block 1 was such a strong block but they still couldn't make it. They killed it every round but just COULDN'T get the win for some reason.

5th place: Block 4 with 34,000.

Fleeky Bang says his dad is really sick so he wanted to bring smiles by joining the show. I have noticed he seems kinda reserved this season when off stage. That might be why. It could be that his personality is just different from what I'd expect offstage (like Jtong and some others) though.

Tray B cried cause he worked so hard. I agree. Man, he really gave it his all. It's all good though. You can already tell his career is going up from here. This show is just one stepping stone.

Hi! I did take your advice and I’ve been scrolling through the tags for the passenger. I feel so dumb. 😭 I was like “there was gay subtext?” 🧍‍♀️I’m usually so quick to notice it. Now that I’ve read some analysis’s and people breaking things down I’m starting to get it! Both Randy and Benson are on different scales of growing up with trauma. It’s definitely having me see Benson in a kinder light (bc I’ll admit I wasn’t sure how to feel about him I’ll be fr). But I’m definitely just going to have to sit down and rewatch. Because some stuff definitely went over my head the first time around. But once again thank you Roo!! 🙌

Welcome back from analyses reading, I hope it was an emotional rollercoaster LMFAOO

Don't get me and the fandom started on the gay subtext- Kyle Gallner (Benson's actor) even mentions how as he played Benson, he and every on set was discovering Benson's sexuality, which I think was wonderful. Also Kyle told Carter (Director) that he wanted Benson and Randy to kiss (obv didnt happen.... sigh...), so if that tells you anything abt benson then there you go IAUHSGD

And yes! You get it! They grew up with very different trauma and handle their trauma very differently, and it really shows in their character (ESPECIALLY Benson, notably the scene before they enter the school)- there's one analysis which talks about how Benson's trauma is so bad (hinted toward, if not basically canon that it's SA as a kid, hence why Benson loathes Sheppard sm), that he thinks the 2nd Grade incident is like, BAD bad (similar level to his) and when Randy says it was him taking his teachers eye out, Benson kinda felt this relief? I can't remember word-for-word the analysis but he basically takes Randy's trauma a little less serious bc it's not as bad as his

FALL SEASON ANIME 2024 FIRST IMPRESSIONS (PART 1)

The fall season is mostly known for being the one with the heavy hitters in terms of anime, and even tho not much managed to catch my attention let's see how heavy they hit lol

ACRO TRIP

Now lemme tell ya that this is the only anime this season I saw the first episode 100% blind, I don't even know the premise of it, just saw the title and decided to watch in lol.

So from what little I gathered we have Chizuko who is a girl that hasn't shown much interest in moving away from home since she is pretty much used to it, until one day she watches a Magical Girl fight in this new town and immediately decides to live there, and due to some circumstances she'll end up working with the villains.

So the purple haired girl loves Magical Girls, and without wanting to in the first place she'll end up working for the evil organization... Looks like this will be a more tame MahoAko with even it's own Utena included xD. Either way it was chill, I dunno if I'll be watching the next episode yet but this one was okay in general.

DANDADAN

Okay, I'm gonna try (and fail) to be unbiased here lol

So, this was the main anime that leaked back in August that concerned me, since I saw the first trailer andI was waiting patiently for it, but when I heard the first 6 episodes leaked I decided to read the manga in case I got spoiled... The results of it were me becoming a Fandadan and being extremely hyped for the anime to drop and honestly? This first episode lived up to the hype easily.

The story was going to be a banger either way since I read the manga but the rest? it exceeded my expectations greatly. The animation is smooth as hell; the voice acting is perfect; the color design, which I was pretty worried about (thought it'll be too jarring and I wouldn't like it) is amazing; the pacing is perfect; THE OPENING IS A BANGER (Creepy Nuts doesn't miss, OP of the year imo) and the ED is really good too. There has been only one episode but imo this has to be a heavy contender for Anime of the Year at minimum, alongside the likes of Oshi no Ko S2 and Frieren's 2nd cour. It was extremely good. Definitely a must watch.

I wasn't gonna make a part 2 but I really want to put this out right now lol, part 2 will be probably tomorrow.

This novel had me feeling in a roller coaster like ride with the events going on in this book 😆

That's to say I'm very hyped for the next book after that ending, I just knew that there's no way the story gonna end like that or that way without any other problems.

𝙳𝚊𝚝𝚎 𝚁𝚎𝚊𝚍 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚁𝚎𝚟𝚒𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚍: July 17, 2024 𝚁𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚜: 4⭐️ Before I start, this book was kind of karma with me saying I want a death trope kind of a love story, and it really did bit me back 💀

This is heavily inspired by Norse Myth. The novel also threw some Greek mythology and other lores along the way to give more of the context with the tragic destiny of Uftyr and Elska (kind of).

Let me just say this couple had me stressing and stressing so much. I am both frustrated, saddened, and frustrated again, saddened again, by their arc AFTER THAT PART. You will know what part where everything goes chaos arc, and just be ready. Anyway, the writing really did feel and read like a high fantasy. The pacing and the tone, especially in navigating the story. It gives off this sense of oldness, I usually feel whenever I watch Vikings TV show. I would say I did like the first half and the last, 20-ish% of the novel where it had me really invested. AND THAT OTHER 30% HAD ME STRESSING SO MUCH. The tweaking and the making of the lore or the plot around the Norse Myth were also interesting. I was really intrigued and would dare say captivated, especially the last remaining chapters. I'm now MORE INTRIGUED AFTER BEING THROWN OF THAT ENDING. The characters, on the other hand, have potential. I'm definitely looking forward to their growth in the 2nd novel. Especially Ulftyr, Balder, Ingrid, Elska, and the few that I can't spell out (they have a difficult name that I can't even pronounce 😆). There were a few parts that threw me off, especially after Ulftyr's 'fall from grace', and those many character deaths, the Deirdara part which felt a little anticlimactic probably because of the fast pace of the novel and how many things are happening at once which might also felt a bit overwhelming at times. With that being said, overall, I still did enjoy this one. I was really invested in the lore, and I would say I have high hopes and expectations for the 2nd instalment. Witcher Season 3 (AKA The "Final" Season 🤣😂)

Alright y'all, back at it again with my 3rd Witcher tv show "review" or whatever. S1 | S2

Disclosure: I already told y'all that I've made peace with this being the Yennefer Show, and that I'll keep watching when Liam Hensworth plays Geralt in S4, because this show ain't been about Geralt or witchers anyway--it's about the mages, obviously. Like, I don't blame Cavill for leaving, cuz if I had to play second fiddle to Yenn when I'M the titular MC, but I don't have ANY scenes, ZERO speaking lines, and NOTHING to do in my own show, then yeah I'd quit too! So I'm not gonna complain about what I WISH this show was--it will NEVER be the books or the games (definitely not Game of Thrones). Missed opportunity.

All that being said, unpopular opinion, but IMO Season 3 kinda slapped? The 2nd "volume"/part was the best BY FAR, but I genuinely liked the vast majority of the episodes. I give S3 a 9.5/10, because I actually have very few complaints about this season overall, I'm shocked. (EDIT: I have DEEProoted suspicions about a lot of naysayers/hatewatchers who say the show's "unwatchable," just because it's got a multicultural cast/"agenda"--sounds like racism to me.)

THE GOOD

The MAIN PLOT actually went somewhere!!!! A wild Vilgefortz appears! ^0^ He beat the DOG SNOT outta Geralt, YIKES! XD

One of my biggest gripes about S1 was that the show didn't focus nearly enough on THE BIG BAD, Vilgefortz. Cahir got SO MUCH screentime doing literally NOTHING for 2 whole seasons, meanwhile the rest of Geralt's Hanse was NOWHERE to be seen, and Vilgefortz was just sitting in the cut looking pretty, like wtf?

And Season 2 was barely any better!

But yeah, S3 FINALLY gave us Vilgefortz's dastardly behavior I'd been waiting for. He effed everybody up at Thanned, as I expected--that's my special evil boy! <3 (Now that Ciri jacked half his face up I'm very sad--that man is absolutely splendid to look at. A moment of silence for the eye candy, it will be missed. U_U)

THANNED. ^0^ Hoooooooly god this was great, even better than Sodden in S1. Episode 6 is the best episode in S3--such a great battle; people were dying left and right. And MAMA TISS!!!!! She went OFF! O_O

It was so sad, but ofc this was all gonna happen--they had Tissaia allllll the way up Vilgefortz's butt, so OF COURSE she was going to be crushed when he INEVITABLY betrayed her. (I don't blame you though, girl, cuz he's SO DANG PRETTY! I'd be crushed, too!) But at least Mama Tissaia got that body count up during the battle--SLAY! The way Filavandrel was just.... 🤯

Speaking of the elves, Francesca and Fringilla were put on the backburner (after dang near dominating S2); but I like the way their arcs ended, even though I felt bad for them. Very good scenes; the mages & their arcs are the very best parts of the show, as usual.

LODGE OF SORCERESSES RISE! ^0^ Dijikstra & Philippa. 😍

These freaks--I LOVE them, your honor! 😅 I was so hyped to see Geralt break Djikstra's leg, but Philippa had me ROLLING when she was like "well, it's a good thing you like pain"--I DIED! XD These kinky mofos! They're hands down one of the best parts of the whole show--I LOVE how sinister Philippa is (her bird feathers are such a great touch--whoever was in charge of her costumes & HAIR 👌), and what a simp Dijkstra is for her. It makes me so sad to know how things go for them in the video game--I sided with Dijikstra to kill Radovid, and was so hurt when he went after Thaler & Roche. But....yeah, I did pick the option to break his other leg, so....oops? XD

So yes, I'm excited to see where this show goes with Philippa and Vilgefortz; how their schemes line up (or not) with Emhyr and the Fake Ciri; and how that effects the REAL Ciri and how she eventually ends up under Avallach (I hope we get to see him on the show!).

Speaking of Ciri, we FIIIIINALLY got to see some domestic Geralt, Yenn & Ciri--even if they are on the run from assassins; and Geralt's iced Yenn out cuz she tried to sacrifice Ciri to Voleth Mier back in S2. A lot of the fandom HATED that they made S2 Yenn betray them, but I think S3 did an alright job of not retconning her, per se, but patching things up. Cuz it's NOT a good look to have your (REAL) main character (LOL) hated by the fandom for betraying her own "daughter." So was the domesticity hamfisted? YES. But was it necessary? GOD yes, otherwise what's the point of showing The Last Wish? They're supposed to be a FAMILY, so for god's sake start giving them scenes to actually SHOW us that--stfu about "destiny"!

Probably another unpopular opinion, but I liked Episode 7 with the unicorn. These are the kinds of adventures Ciri NEEDED in S1, running around some stupid empty forests doing NOTHING is different from learning how to survive on her own in a strange wilderness, encountering strange creatures, and tapping into the good AND bad sides of her magic.

And oooooh my god, the GOAT has returned.

A lot of...hrm...interesting conversations were had as Ciri was hallucinating in the desert, with love of my life Grandmama Calanthe, as well as Pavetta & Falka. It's a shame that Ciri didn't get this kind of development MUCH earlier in the series. Too little too late? We'll have to see where Ciri's plot goes with the Rats in S4 to find out if her new whole Chaos/Fire magic arc is worth it.

AT LONG EFFING LAST, we're getting some HANSE ACTION!!!

I've been SO EFFING SICK of Cahir. I'm glad Ciri finally got closure with him from SEASON ONE, and that he's FINALLY in the Hanse now--took y'all long enough, ffs! And Milva's interesting so far, so I'm glad to see her around, giving Geralt & Dandelion grief. So in S4 all we need now is Angie, and YA BOI!!! ^0^

THE BAD

I wish Mistle and the Rats were better established--the whole Wyvern thing wasn't done very well or made much sense, and Mistle & Ciri should've had WAY more scenes. I wasn't feeling any chemistry between them, which is annoying, since Ciri's a lesbian in my TW3 game--is the show gonna go with hetero Ciri instead? Or is her love of Mistle gonna be what pulls Ciri out of the Fire/Chaos dark arc they're teasing for S4? 👀

What's annoying is that we already had a Dark!Ciri arc in S2 though, and EVERYONE hated it. We see Yenn reconcile betraying Ciri, but where's Ciri reconciliation for slaughtering all those witchers at Kaer Morhen? 😡 First she's possessed by Voleth Mier, now she's possessed by Falka? This show's great at focusing on Yenn & the mages, but leaves Ciri in the same ditch over & over--it's irritating.

Ep5 was a LAME way to end the first half/"volume," I hated that episode. The whole ball just bored me, with the dancing and singing--I get it--"all is not *clap clap* as it seems," stfu already. I didn't care. It was OBVIOUS Stregebor was being framed; WTF was that mop on Istredd's head; WHY was Triss the only one with a braincell who cared that students were going missing when apparently the school's SO strict; why don't these mages start TELEPORTING for once, and stop running around SLOW AF; how the HECK did y'all let HUMAN Dijkstra jump a WHOLE SCHOOL OF MAGES--this is an utter embarrassment. Usually the mages are the only thing this show gets RIGHT, so to see them all faceplant like this was just baffling & frustrating.

And again with the monoliths--how do y'all NOT KNOW these things are here!? Same with the one hidden in Kaer Morhen, like REALLY? NO ONE's medallion is going off? Omg. Istredd! You STUDY these things! Start TEACHING these drunk AF mages a thing or two--this is why Vilgefortz and Dijikstra wiped the floor with y'all on your own turf! 🤦

THE UGLY

The pacing was SLOW AF. Episodes 3-5 particularly dragged.

Everything with Cahir I wish was in S2 instead. That elf was GORGEOUS and I hated to see him go, but what was the point of all that again? I almost expected him & Cahir to start banging! (My perv brain; I need help, y'all. U_U)

Speaking of!

ALLLLLLL this mess about Dandelion & Radovid.

What "ripple effects"? XD It was UNNECESSARY. We all know Radovid's a disgusting genocidal racist psychopath and Dandelion's a womanizing old man--I'm not interested in seeing Radovid going through all this effort to seduce Dandelion, just to DOUBLE CROSS him to get to Ciri, like wtF? TBH, I feel like we were queerbaited, yeah I said it. 😤

And it's SO unfair how we have alllll these sex scenes with naked women's vajayjays & boobs all over the place--even Philippa got in on the action, hey hey hey! ;) --but we never get to see man-on-man action!? Wow, they kissed, SO WHAT!? Men never get full frontal nudity and it ticks me off, cuz naked women are just all over TV, meanwhile the dudes don't show SQUAT, and it's happened AGAIN.

Anyways, those are my only real complaints; otherwise I liked S3, it was much better than S2 IMO. Just don't expect too much--turn your brain off, and accept that this show doesn't gaf about Geralt (or even Ciri really) whatsoever. I'm here for Yennefer, Vilgefortz, and to see the Lodge of Sorceresses make themselves an absolute menace under Philippa so that Radovid literally flips his wig (that horrible weave MUST go in S4) and effs everything up for mages & non-humans.
