What do you think of TVD's Hayley? Would you change anything about his story on the show?
We all know Hayley is one of my favorite characters but I'm going to be honest, I never really paid her much attention in TVD. I didn't watch TO until years after it had ended. I actually watched like two episodes of Legacies, not knowing it was a spin off, and got super confused. I immediately started watching TO and had kind of forgotten all of what Hayley did in TVD. I was able to love Hayley as a character completely separate from TVD Hayley.
That being said, I wouldn't change her.
Don't get me wrong, her TVD character is deeply problematic. But it sets her up well. She has probably one of the biggest character growths at the same time matching her up well to the darker themes of TO as well as the Mikaelsons family.
Hayley entered the show as the older "too cool for teen drama" character which was a nice change of pace for the TVD gang which was all about teen drama. Not only that but she is more ruthless than the characters we were used to dealing with. Hayley wasn't really introduced as a "good guy" or "bad guy," rather just another obstacle for Forewood. Which is why it was so interesting to find out she was actually double crossing everyone. It was never about the "teen drama," rather she was scheming to find her family. A very Mikaelson trait of hers.
If I would change anything, I would have made her scheming more detailed. She was a small side character so they didn't invest a lot of time into her, but it would have been a better set up to watch just how devious she could be when needed. One of the shocks for me between TO and TVD is her fighting skills. We don't really get much of a background on her except she kind of grew up on the streets. I would have liked to see more of her street smarts and even have her flirting with Klaus as some nefarious purpose. The random one night stand felt, well random.
I would have liked to see more of her backstory, but that would kind of ruin her mystery. I just hate how little of her history we get. I also like that she never really bonded with anyone in TVD. She sort of did with Tyler and considered him a friend, I personally don't think she was romantically interested in him rather befriended him for a reason and did develop a platonic attachment to him. I also think she did care for the wolves, so I would have liked to see some more remorse from her after she betrayed them. Or at least see her coming to
Hayley's character growth in TO made the most sense to me since she was so young. The Mikaelsons were over a thousand and yet seem to mature /change a lot between the two shows. But for Hayley, maturing after finding out she's pregnant makes sense. I loved watching her go from a selfish loner to a caring leader.
And of course, because I can't help myself. I would have loved for TVD Hayley to run into TVD Elijah. Just for fun.

"Look, I'm very flattered but I'm very married."
You tell Nightwing as you hold up your hand as proof. You aren't married yet, but the wedding is coming up soon so you consider him as your husband. Everybody knows Nightwing is the flirty hero, but this time seemed like he was going really hard. It's as if he knows you and it's some shared secret. You look confused as Nightwing laughs.
"Who's the guy, honey bunny?"
You huff. The nerve of him to keep the flirtatious tone of voice. He sounds so familiar, and he used the nickname Dick always uses for you, but you don't think Nightwing as Dick: your gentle and loving fiancée.
"His name is Richard, but his friends and family call him Dick. I get the privilege of calling him my bumblebee. He's as sweet as honey."
Dick had to hide his smile. He's been your bumblebee for as long as he's called you honey bunny. He thought it was adorable that you linked up your nicknames and it was incredibly creative.
"That is adorable. I'll have to keep an eye out for him."
You smiled softly. He watched almost in awe as you entirely melt at the mention of him. You have a fond look in your eyes as you reminisced.
You truly cherish your bumblebee and love him with your entire heart. You had a hard upbringing, like most Gotham kids, but Dick polished you like a gem and made you shine.
Dick smiled equally fondly at you. He knew you loved him dearly, but it's nice to get confirmation as a seemingly second-hand party. He knows he should have told you about Nightwing a long time ago, but his family and friends hold him back every time. They are so cautious with their secret identities that it makes him nervous to take the dive.
"Well, how about I walk you home at least."
He made up his mind. He's going to tell you. The second you two are home with Hayley loving you more than him (like usual).
"I'm sure your husband is dying to be next to you."
You frowned. Can't he take a hint and leave? You immediately reject his offer,
"Oh, you don't have to. I only live a few streets away."
He smiles at how fiercely you are rejecting him. Not even the great hero Nightwing can make you even consider cheating on him. It makes his heart melt to think about the fact that you won't fall for anybody else. He is the main priority, and he will always be your number one. You turn to leave, ignoring and shutting down his flirting at every chance and shooing him away.
He followed across rooftops as you walked off to meet you at your shared apartment anyway. He decided to share Nightwing with you. You had a very serious relationship, and he knows he can trust you. He needs to take the dive. You share everything with him, and it's time he shares Nightwing with you.

Amidst the clinking of glasses and strained smiles, you find yourself feeling jealous of the way Hayley is interacting with your husband... Until he shows you exactly why you shouldn't be feeling that way.
~Thanks for the request anon(s) ♡♡ I hope you don't mind me combining the two ideas. I made this as a sort of sequel to Dinner can wait~

It was supposed to be a nice family outing. A dinner where everyone would just get together and enjoy themselves. But as the evening went on, your stomach had been churning, the food on the plate in front of you forgotten.
You hadn't even been able to eat more than a few bites, your appetite gone. Elijah kept a hand on your thigh under the table, his thumb rubbing circles, a small smile on his face. His brown eyes were soft as they stared at you.
But it didn't help.
You could see the way Hayley looked at him. Her beautiful hazel eyes were bright as they stared at your husband. Her plump red lips were curved into a flirty smile, and you knew that Elijah was enjoying her company.
He was always fond of Hayley. Even if he would deny it. You had seen the way his gaze lingered on her during dinner, the way he had leaned a little bit closer to her as she talked, how his own smile widened.
He was handsome, and the women around you knew it, all trying to gain his attention. You usually found it amusing, even a bit of an ego boost for you, knowing that you had what everyone else wanted.
But now, you felt insecure. Hayley was more than just a passing woman who wanted your husband. She was a part of the family, the mother to his beloved niece.
And she was beautiful. Her brown hair had been pulled into a bun, the baby hairs around her hairline curled. Her dark eyeshadow made her eyes stand out.
You shifted in your seat, taking a sip of your wine, trying to focus on the conversations around you. Freya was telling a story about the newest witch she had met. Kol was laughing, his mouth full of food.
"So, Y/n, what are your plans for the weekend?" Rebekah asked.
You swallowed thickly, glancing at her. "Elijah and I are going on a little getaway."
Rebekah raised her brows, smiling softly. "That sounds lovely. Where are you guys going?"
"We're going to this new winery a few hours away. We will leave tomorrow morning." Elijah spoke, his hand moving to the back of your neck, gently squeezing. "I need a break from work, and my darling wife deserves a vacation."
"That sounds so romantic, you guys should bring back some wine for me." Hayley said, smiling sweetly at Elijah.
You clenched your jaw, forcing a smile on your face. "Of course, anything for you, Hayley."
Elijah frowned, turning his head to look at you. He gave you a look, and you sighed, closing your eyes. You took a deep breath, you hated feeling this way, it made you irrational and stupid. You had nothing to be jealous about.
"If you'll excuse me, I need to use the ladies' room." You said, standing up.
"I'll join you," Rebekah said, and you nodded and followed her.
The two of you walked to the restroom, your steps were hurried, and your hands shook.
"What's wrong?" Rebekah asked, frowning.
"Nothing, I'm fine." You said, looking at yourself in the mirror. Your cheeks were flushed and your eyes were a little glassy. You began to touch up your make-up, trying to distract yourself.
"You don't seem fine, tell me what's going on." Rebekah said, stepping closer to you.
"It's just-," you took a deep breath, trying to calm your beating heart. "Hayley and Elijah."
"What about them?"
"Hayley is clearly into him, it's driving me crazy. It's ridiculous, I shouldn't be feeling this way." You said, looking at her.
Rebekah raised her brows, smiling slightly. "Well, well, the almighty y/n, is feeling jealousy for the first time in a thousand years."
"Yeah, and I know I'm being irrational, that's why I excused myself. I just need a minute." You said, rolling your eyes.
"Hayley is harmless." Rebekah said, gazing into the mirror. She fixed her dress, making sure it was laying perfectly on her body.
"She's been flirting with him all night and Elijah has done nothing to stop it." You said, lowering your voice.
"He's just being polite," Rebekah said, studying her nails. "But if it makes you feel better, we can always put Hayley in her place. Remind her that Elijah is very much married," she looked at you, raising her brows.
You snorted, shaking your head. "I'm not going to be petty, no matter how much I want to."
"You are so much stronger than me," Rebekah chuckled, linking her arm with yours as you left the bathroom.
As you and Rebekah reached the table, you could see Hayley was giggling, her hands resting on Elijah's bicep. She leaned in close to him, her lips almost brushing against his ear. Elijah's eyes had darkened, his brow furrowed as he whispered something in her ear, his lip curved into a smirk.
Your heart clenched as you watched him. A pang of envy swept through you and you let out a shaky breath. Rebekah gave you a sympathetic smile, squeezing your arm.
Elijah noticed you standing there, and looked at you, his brown eyes worried. He excused himself from Hayley, moving to you, he wrapped an arm around your waist, leading you to your seat.
"Are you alright, my love? You seem flushed," Elijah murmured.
"I'm alright, too much wine," You replied, avoiding his gaze.
Elijah didn't believe you, but wasn't about to start an argument in front of everyone. So he settled for tucking a strand of hair behind your ear, before placing a kiss on your cheek.
You smiled at his action, your heart fluttering slightly. No matter how angry and jealous you might be at him, he always seemed to know what to do to make you feel a little bit better.
As dinner went on, you saw that Hayley kept staring at Elijah out of the corner of your eye and it made your stomach turn. The way her eyes gazed at him with such affection. Elijah didn't even seem to notice. Instead he chatted with his brothers and sisters, his hand never leaving yours. His thumb caressed your knuckles, rubbing soothing circles on them.
Klaus brought out his phone and started sharing pictures and videos of his daughter. Elijah was grinning ear to ear, commenting on every single thing he was shown. The sounds of laughter around you made your chest swell, you felt good to see your family enjoying themselves.
Hayley seized this opportunity, shuffling closer to Elijah, leaning into him as she showed him her own videos of Hope. She would poke his shoulder and give him that innocent little smile. You clenched your jaw as you saw her press her breasts against his arm, looking up at him with big doe eyes.
You didn't like feeling this insecure and irrational, but you couldn't help it. The envious feeling was growing as you watched them interact. Elijah's brown eyes were soft as he gazed at Hayley. Smiling as he said something that made her laugh, head tilting back.
You couldn't help but compare yourself to her, you weren't as thin or as beautiful. You were taller, your breasts were bigger and your eyes wider. You usually weren't self conscious about your own looks, but today, you felt inadequate. She seemed like a more fitting partner for your husband.
You wanted to leave the restaurant, but you didn't want to make a scene. It was obvious that Elijah hadn't really noticed what was happening and you didn't want to look like a jealous wife.
"Excuse me, I would like to make a toast," Hayley said, raising her voice slightly. Everyone's heads turned to look at her, and you followed suit.
She stood up, her gaze focused on Elijah. You suddenly had a bad feeling, and you wanted to look anywhere but her, to keep from showing how upset you were.
"I just want to say," Hayley started, her hands clasped together. "Elijah, I've always admired you. You've always been so kind and generous to me and my daughter,"
You looked up at Elijah, and you could see his surprise, his brows raised. Hayley continued, "Over the past couple of years, I've grown to love and respect you, and I just wanted you to know that." She took a breath, and then reached a hand to touch Elijah's cheek. Your own heart started pounding.
Elijah stared up at her with confusion in his brown eyes, and Hayley laughed nervously. You were aware of the way Freya, Kol, Klaus, and Rebekah were watching you, but you couldn't take your eyes off of Elijah, to see how he responded.
She pulled back her hand slowly, then grabbed a hold of the champagne in front of her, swirling it around as she took a breath and held it out to him.
"To Elijah." Hayley said, smirking down at him.
He clinked his glass against hers. His own brown eyes were glazed with surprise as he held her gaze. He smiled softly, murmuring "thanks" under his breath.
You clenched your jaw, your fingers gripped the table cloth as you fought the urge to say something snarky, or throw something. Elijah turned to you, his arm wrapping around your waist. "Are you okay?" He whispered.
"I'm fine." You forced a smile as you took a deep breath.
He kissed your cheek, lingering his lips on your skin, his hand patted your side. You wished you could simply pull his face to yours and make him forget about everyone but you.
Your emotions threatened to get the better of you and you just wanted to leave the restaurant already, and be alone with your husband.
The end of the night couldn't come soon enough, and you all got into your respective cars. You and Elijah left the restaurant, the car ride quiet as you stared out the window.
"You're awfully quiet, what's wrong, love?" Elijah asked, his brows furrowing.
"Nothing." You said.
"Y/n." He frowned, his hand squeezing your thigh. You sighed, shrugging your shoulders.
"I don't want to argue in the car, you should focus on the road." You said, keeping your eyes forward.
You could feel his gaze boring into you, his hand moved to yours, bringing it up to his lips. He kissed the back of your hand softly.
"When we get home, you are going to tell me why you're so upset." He murmured against your skin.
When the two of you finally returned home, you immediately went to the bedroom. Your shoulders were tense, your chest was tight and your stomach churning.
Elijah followed behind you, watching as you undressed, taking off your dress, throwing it into the laundry basket. Your jaw was clenched, and he stood behind you, his arms wrapping around your waist.
"Elijah-" You started, but he cut you off with a kiss to your neck, his arms tightening their hold. His hands pressed against your stomach, and you felt his nose bumping your ear. His lips were soft as they explored the skin of your neck, nibbling it softly.
He turned you around and your hands came to his jaw. His lips were upturned, his brown eyes were warm. He cocked his head, gazing down at you.
"Tell me what's wrong." He whispered.
"It's stupid, I'm just feeling insecure." You said, looking into his dark eyes. Elijah frowned, bringing his thumb up to stroke your cheek.
"Why?" He asked, his brows furrowed.
You bit the inside of your cheek, fighting back your emotions. He could always get a sense of whether or not you were telling the truth.
"I just-," you sucked in a breath, closing your eyes. "Hayley clearly likes you,"
"I think she actually used the word love." Elijah teased, his brows raised. You glared at him and he chuckled softly.
"Is that why you've been so tense all evening? You were jealous?" He asked, pulling you flush against him.
You let out a shaky breath, avoiding his gaze. "Well you didn't exactly try to dissuade her." You mumbled, your hands pressed against his chest.
"Do you know what I was thinking about all night? How much I wish we didn't have to sit through dinner at the restaurant, and how much I wish we were alone, right here in our bed." Elijah whispered, and you felt your heart flutter.
"I've only ever had eyes for you, my love," He murmured, resting his forehead against yours. "My darling, you were the only woman I saw. Hayley could have been naked on top of me, and I wouldn't have been interested."
You smiled slightly at that, your hands resting on his shoulders. Elijah gazed into your eyes, a smirk pulling at his lips.
"Do you need me to show you? Remind you how much I love you?" He murmured, his face inches from yours.
"How would you show me?" You whispered. His brown eyes flickered with lust as he grinned, pulling back slightly. He brought his hands up to his tie, yanking it loose before pulling it off of his neck.
He smirked, wrapping the tie around his fist, slowly backing you up against the wall. Your breath was caught in your throat as you gazed up at him.
Elijah easily pinned you up against the wall, wrapping the tie around your wrists, and securing them above your head. You sucked in a sharp breath as he put his hand against your neck, his touch gentle.
"I don't like seeing you upset," Elijah whispered, his lips brushing against yours. "Not when I can make you feel better." He punctuated his sentence with a kiss to your jaw, then your neck.
"You're all I've ever wanted. You're the only woman I've ever loved and the only woman I've been attracted to. You're the love of my life," Elijah spoke, his tone soft and sincere. His breath fanned against your lips, and you parted them as he pressed his against yours.
He kissed you gently, his tongue swiping over yours slowly. You gasped, your wrists straining against the tie. His hands tightened around your wrists as he pushed you against the wall.
He broke the kiss, his eyes looking down at you. "Do you remember our first time together?" He asked, cocking his head to the side. You smiled slightly, a fond memory resurfacing.
"On a blanket under the stars. The only light was the moon, and you were so beautiful." Elijah smiled, his hand tilting your chin so you would look up at him. "How old were we? Seventeen?"
"It was a beautiful night, after hours of you telling me about the constellations. I had to shut you up somehow." You giggled before he pressed his lips against yours.
"It's a beautiful night tonight as well, we should go out, like we did back then. Make love under the stars." He spoke, brown eyes filled with affection.
Before you could answer he picked you up, wrapping your legs around his waist and your tied wrists around his neck. He walked past the bed and grabbed a blanket on the way, then carried you outside.
The cool night air seeped into your skin, but you didn't mind, Elijah kept you warm, his lips brushing against the nape of your neck. He set you down and laid out the blanket on the grass.
The backyard was illuminated by moonlight, and you could see the stars glistening in the sky. Elijah pulled you down with him, laying with you, his lips reconnecting with yours. Your body melted as he deepened the kiss, and you let out a small moan.
Elijah chuckled softly, hands roaming your body, fumbling with the lacy straps of your bra. "My darling, I don't think we'll need this tonight." His hands moved to the front clasp, expertly undoing it.
You loved it when Elijah undressed you. His large hands touched every inch of your skin. His lips always followed a path that was outlined by his fingertips. You watched him take off your panties, enjoying how his eyes darkened with lust and his smile curled.
Your hands ached to feel him, but they were still bound. Elijah kept you pressed against the soft blanket, spreading your legs for him.
He trailed a line of kisses down your stomach, not letting his lips miss any patch of skin. Your thighs trembled with excitement as you felt his breath ghost over your pussy. He grabbed your thighs, spreading them wider as he licked a stripe up.
You moaned out, squeezing your eyes shut as you felt his tongue, circling your clit before slipping inside you. Your breath hitched in your throat, and your hands trembled in their restraints as you ran them clumsily through his hair.
Elijah could stay in between your thighs all day. He remembered that first night together so vividly, remembering the way you had moaned and gripped his hair. Everything about you was intoxicating, and he never wanted the moment to end.
Your hips jerked up as you felt a coil grow in your core, your orgasm building. Elijah was coaxing it out of you, his lips sucking on your clit. A guttural moan escaped you, your back arching off of the ground.
His strong hands pressed against your hips to keep them still as his tongue moved quicker, coaxing every bit of pleasure from you. You could feel tears forming in your eyes, and you moaned Elijah's name desperately.
Elijah pulled away from you, a wicked smile on his face as he leaned up to kiss you deeply. He was still fully clothed, his hair messy and face glistening with the evidence of your pleasure.
"I love you so much, darling." He whispered against your lips. His fingers ran over your breasts, descending further down your body. He dipped a finger inside you, and you let out a soft gasp.
"Tell me about our first night together, Love." He said, slowly pushing in another finger, smiling as you moaned.
You trembled under his hands, and Elijah's eyes darkened as he watched you, loving the way you gave in to his touch.
"We had both snuck out, you told me to meet you in the clearing..." you said, cheeks red. Elijah pumped his fingers in and out of you, his forehead pressed against yours.
"You had stolen some mead from the cellars, and you brought candles and blankets. Always such a romantic." You moaned. Elijah had added a third finger, rubbing your clit with his thumb.
"Go on." He murmured, speeding up his movements. You cried out, squirming under him. He pressed down on your stomach with his other hand.
"You had led me over to the blankets. We'd barely drank the mead. And you told me that-"
"I told you that I had loved you for a very long time. I could hardly believe how lucky I was, finally being able to hold you in my arms." Elijah finished, his mouth twitching into a smile.
He kept fingering you, holding your gaze as you gasped. "You were so timid when I took your dress off, and I kept kissing you, murmuring about how beautiful you were." He said, feeling your walls clenching around his fingers.
You sucked in a breath and threw your head back, moaning as you climaxed. Elijah chuckled as he pulled out his wet fingers. He kissed your lips softly, brushing the stray hairs off of your face. He undid his tie from around your wrists, freeing your hands, and pulling you to his chest.
"I remember the way you looked at me when I made love to you." Elijah smirked, eyes falling to your naked figure, one of his hands tangled in your hair. He pecked your lips again. "I remember how tight and warm you felt, and how amazing it felt being inside you for the first time."
Your hands began to unbutton his shirt. You panted against his lips, sitting up. Elijah sat up with you, shrugging his shirt off and tossing it aside. His hands rubbed your arms gently, encouraging you.
You smiled, kissing his chest. His heartbeat quickened, his breath hitching as you moved over him. Your hands played with his belt, while your lips explored his skin. Elijah stared up at you through dark eyelashes, his hand brushed through your hair and then guided your head up. He pressed his lips against yours, smiling as you moaned into the kiss.
Soon you were both naked, the rest of his clothing discarded somewhere in the backyard. Elijah hovered over you, gazing down at you with affection glinting in his eyes.
"I love you, I wish you could see yourself the way I do." He murmured, cupping your cheek. You reached a hand up, intertwining your fingers with his.
He kissed your lips, lining himself up, before slowly easing in, swallowing your gasps. His hips moved slowly, his length filling you in the best way. You curled a hand around his bicep, your legs wrapping around his waist.
"You're so beautiful, my darling." Elijah cooed, burying his face into the crook of your neck.
You arched your back, biting your lip. Your nails dug into his arms as he picked up the pace, his groans were muffled. He pulled back and kissed you again, his tongue battling yours as you moaned against his mouth.
You didn't need anyone else when you had Elijah. The way he touched you and praised you made you feel euphoric. No one could compare to your husband. He was all you needed, even after one thousand years of marriage.
"Elijah." You gasped his name, hands gripping his arms. He pounded into you faster, and your head spun as you neared your climax. Elijah's hands found yours as you tensed, coming undone. He gasped, grunting your name as he buried himself deep inside, filling you with his cum, collapsing onto you.
You were both covered in sweat, gasping for breath. You sighed softly as he pulled out, laying down beside you and bringing your body against his. You pressed a hand over his racing heart, feeling comforted at the sound.
Elijah's fingers slipped through your hair, he gazed down at you, his eyes glinting.
"I really mean it, you know. You're the only woman I ever want to be with." He spoke, his smile made you melt.
"I know." You whispered, kissing his chest softly.
He pulled the blanket over you, his gaze loving as he ran his hands over your body. Elijah was always so intimate after the two of you had sex, murmuring endearing words, and worshiping every bit of skin he could get his hands on. His thumb brushed against your cheek, and you snuggled closer to him, enjoying his affection.
"I'm sorry I got jealous earlier." You said softly, playing with the blanket.
Elijah let out a soft laugh, kissing the top of your head. "You had no reason to be jealous, I'll never be interested in Hayley," He moved one hand down your body, squeezing your ass. "Because I have you."
Your laugh made his heart stutter. Elijah let his hands brush over you, taking care to touch you in all the right places.
"What else do you remember about our first time together?'' He asked, nipping at your ear.
You blushed as memories flooded back, suddenly feeling shy, though the sensation didn't come very often anymore.
"How clumsy you were and how sweet," you spoke, remembering how desperate Elijah had been to please you.
"You kept apologizing whenever you thought you did something wrong." You said. Elijah's face was pressed against your neck. You turned towards him and lifted his head up, smiling at the bashful look on his face. "Not that I knew any better," you teased.
Elijah chuckled and pressed his lips against yours. One of your hands moved down his sculpted chest and stomach. Your hands always gravitated towards him, no matter how many times you had explored his body over the centuries.
"So, about our trip tomorrow." He murmured against your mouth. You let out a soft sigh, hands wrapped around his neck.
"Yes, my love?" You asked, lips ghosting over his.
"Don't bother bringing many clothes," Elijah teased, smirking against your mouth. You giggled softly, kissing his smile.
"Any reason why?" You whispered, one of your hands moving through his hair.
"Because we're not going to leave the bed."

05| The Tribrid
Pairing: Klaus Mikaelson x daughter!reader Summary: As you settle back into the Quarter, you juggle your personal and new professional life—but with the Mikaelsons, it was almost as if there was no difference between the two. Warnings: none Words: 5.6K
Masterlist | Part 6
a/n: i see this series getting long, guys; just letting you know. btw, i'm pretty much unoccupied, so u can expect new posts for this series and possibly other imagines like every 2-3 days. and tysm for all the support! anyway, i'll let you get to reading now.
I walked into the Abattoir with a façade of confidence. I was now completely sober, facing the repercussions of my drunken actions. It'd been about a week since my agreement with Elijah and he'd only just called me in to speak with him yesterday.
I was currently cursing my drunk self, but at least Marcel was now allowed back into the Quarter without any fuss. Of course, he wasn't allowed back into the slaughterhouse, but he did compel himself a nice little townhouse a few minutes of human-walking away from my place.
In New Orleans, it was always better to live in the Quarter than anywhere else. This was the heart of the city's supernatural happenings. You were both safest here and also at most danger. But I guess, if you had enemies, you wanted to be in the Quarter because, if you had a crew to roll with, then nobody would really try you.
That's how it used to be at one point in time, and that's what the factions were trying to achieve now.
I was immediately greeted after making it past the gates. "Y/N," Elijah said, walking towards me, hands held out. He wrapped an arm around me, walking me to the couches in the middle of the courtyard. I tried not to show any discomfort at the physical touch. "It's lovely to see you."
I chuckled a little. "Feeling's mutual," I replied, causing the nobleman to let out a little laugh himself. I sat down on one of the couches while he sat on the other. "So, what have we got today?"
He sighed, "The withes are unhappy because of- all due respect, Marcellus' actions."
Right. Marcel forbade anyone to do magic. While I understand his reasoning, trying to protect a little witch by the name of Davina Claire, it was cruel. To ask a witch to go without magic was like asking a human not to breathe; it was damn near impossible.
Even though I get what he was trying to do, I still didn't agree with it—but that didn't mean that I agreed with what the New Orleans witches were doing either.
"So I've heard. But I'm sure you're aware of why he did what he did." He was; otherwise, I wouldn't have brought it up. I wouldn't do anything to endanger Davina; she'd become like a family to me. I knew that the Mikaelsons knew all about Davina, the harvest, and whatnot.
"Yes, of course. To protect Davina, I understand. She is special, without a doubt." Elijah's voice with filled with nothing other than conviction; I'd expect nothing less when people were speaking about Davina.
I smiled thinking about her. "Yes, she is."
"However, it still hasn't done us any favours on a community-wide scale." Elijah ran a hand through his hair. "The witches' spokesperson, Genevieve, is just about furious with the treatment they've received." A look suddenly appeared on his face. "And considering the... interactions my family has had with her, I wouldn't want to anger her further, especially since Hayley is with child."
This was the first time my heart didn't stop at the mention of Klaus' unborn baby. Instead, I was too focused on the witch Elijah named: Genevieve. Now, this was a name Marcel had somehow neglected to inform me about, but I was well aware of who she was.
From my understanding, Rebekah Mikaelson killed her the same year the Mikaelsons fled New Orleans, sometime in the early 1900s. Marcel spilled the whole story to me one night when he was drunk.
Genevieve died. Yet, according to Elijah (and I know this is not a coincidence) she's alive leading the NOLA coven.
Great.
I responded after a beat, bringing my hands together. "Okayyy, so what are we doing?"
"Making the witches happy, love."
Now my heart stopped.
I turned my head to see Klaus just finishing walking down the stairs. "Elijah tells me you're our new... fixer." He shrugged, making his way to the minibar. "So fix it."
"Niklaus."
"Get a grip, Elijah. I don't think I'm offending the young woman," he said before turning to face me. "Am I offending you, love?"
I skipped the whole processing bit of this situation and dived straight into my persona. "Not at all."
Klaus made a gesture to me with his hand, turning back to his brother. "See, Elijah. Marcel's right hand has tough skin." Elijah responded with a much more exhausted sigh than before, rubbing his hand on his face. Klaus ignored this, turning back to me with a bottle of bourbon in his hand. "Want me to pour you a glass, Y/N?"
"It is ten o'clock in the morning, Niklaus."
"All the more reason," he quipped back. "Y/N?"
I tried to loosen up, but my smile probably came out a little more tense than I originally intended. "I'm good; thank you."
Klaus looked at me for a few seconds before shrugging and pouring his own glass. Elijah took this opportunity to continue, but not before letting out another sigh. "As I was saying before my brother so tersely interrupted us, Genevieve has agreed to meet with us after I told her that you—Marcel's right hand, as Niklaus put it—were going to be representing us."
I tried to focus all my attention on the task at hand instead of my absent father who kept looking over at me periodically. I remembered what this was like when I did it for Cellie; I just had to get back in the game. "So, if you are looking to make an agreement of some sort, what are you willing to negotiate—give up, even?"
Just as Elijah was about to answer, Klaus briskly cut him off. "Oh, that's all on you, love." I narrowed my eyes slightly and he elaborated. "You decide then and there what you think is fair." He shrugged again, and although he looked carefree, he also had a smug look on his face that I doubt he was even trying to hide. "Ball's in your court." This was a test.
I didn't ponder on that for too long, nodding to him. "I can do that."
Klaus nodded back. He looked like he wanted to say something, but a quick look from Elijah seemed to make him want to hold his tongue. Thank God.
While I seemed like I was coming a long way, just the mere idea of holding a conversation with this man was terrifying. There were so many things I was holding my tongue about. It was just lucky that I so happened to be 500 years old. A few, quick conversations with my dad who had no idea I was his illegitimate child would not break me. Maybe it fucked with my head, but it wasn't anything I couldn't handle.
I'm here after all, aren't I?
Elijah cleared his throat. "Well, it seems to me that we've discussed everything we needed to discuss for today." He stood up and I followed suit. "Again, it was lovely seeing you, Y/N."
"Likewise." I shook the hand he held out, once again ignoring the weird original rush I felt. "I'll see myself out." Couldn't get out faster.
I walked toward the exit before Elijah could say something gentlemanly about escorting me out and before Klaus could say something that'd boggle my mind even further. I assumed he'd text me the details about the meeting later.
I took a deep breath immediately once I was far enough from the compound that I was sure they wouldn't hear me. I had no idea how I was going to get used to any of this, but it was too late to go back now.
In the meantime, I decided to take my mind off the Mikaelsons for a bit by visiting someone who I've yet to see.
I walked into the old church with caution. It wasn't like I had a problem with Kieran; I just felt awkward whenever I talked to him, so I'd rather avoid him. I've had enough awkward situations in these past few weeks to last me a lifetime.
To my luck, he was absent and so I just walked straight upstairs, dodging cobwebs as I went until I made it to the attic's ajar door. A girl sat on a stool in front of an easel, painting a landscape. She was so focused she didn't even notice me push the door the rest of the way open.
I smiled, leaning on the door as I looked around the room that'd changed since I last saw it, now more decorated and screaming it'd been touched by a teenage girl. "So Marcel's still got you holed up in here, huh?"
She instantly spun around with her jaw dropped. "Y/N?!" She ran toward me, engulfing me in a tight hug that I'm sure would've broken some bones if I was human.
I chuckled, "Hi, Davina. I've missed you, too."
She pulled back, looking over me with disbelief visible on her face. "Oh, my God- when did you get back?"
"A little while ago. I'm sorry I couldn't come see you sooner, but I've been absolutely swamped. I promise, though—going into the future, I'll make time to see you." Davina smiled, pulling me back in for another hug. Her happiness spread to me and I started smiling so hard that my cheeks hurt. I think this might be the first time I've been this happy since I got back to New Orleans.
Davina was an amazing kid. I was supposed to meet up with Marcel the night of the harvest when he saved her, and so I ended up meeting her a few months before I left. She just so happened to be one of the few people who know my secret. She was incredibly gifted and reminded me so much of my younger self. I felt like I owed it to her, to myself, to be there for her. In the short time I've known her, she's become something like a little sister to me, if not a daughter.
When we broke from the hug, we both ended up sitting on the bed. I let her catch me up on what's been happening, even though I already more or less knew it from Marcel's summaries. "Okay, so if the witches aren't trying to hunt you down anymore, why are you still hiding away in this attic?"
"Well, I'm not hiding away anymore," she replied. "Marcel just figured it'd be safer for me to stay here instead of with them. He still doesn't trust them and, honestly, neither do I. They've been acting kind of weird since the witches were resurrected, but I just deal with it and go there everyday to practice."
I hummed. I understood Marcel's reasoning; keeping Davina at the church was actually pretty smart. I wouldn't trust her with a bunch of vengeful witches, either, especially after they tried to kill her once. But this attic was far too small for a little girl to spend her days in.
I looked around the cluttered room, thinking before I said screw it and decided to propose my idea to Davina. "What if you didn't have to stay here?" I asked, looking back at her.
She furrowed her brows. "What do you mean? It's not like there's anywhere else I could go, besides with the witches."
"Not necessarily true." I sat up straighter. "I mean, my townhouse has three rooms, and only one of those rooms isn't empty." I shrugged, gesturing around the room. "It's bigger than this place, so all your stuff would fit."
She sat up too. "Wait, are you being serious?"
"Hell yeah, I am. And the protections on my place are a lot better than this church's, trust me."
"You want me to move in with you?"
"Yeah, Davina, that's what I've been sayi-" I was cut off when she threw her arms around me in the tightest hug she'd given me since I entered the attic, and that was saying something.
"Oh, my gosh! Yes, of course!"
I giggled at her enthusiasm, hugging her back before pulling away to pull my phone out of my back pocket. "Okay, I'll drop you off at the apartment now and I'll text some people to come pick up your stuff and bring it to you." I glanced back up at her for confirmation, looking back at my phone when she giddily nodded. "You can just make yourself at home and get settled in. I'll be home a bit later; I just have a business meeting first."
"Yeah, sure." Davina then stood up, looking around and clapping her hands. "I'll start packing!"
I laughed for what felt like the umpteenth time since I've seen her, standing up too. "Alright, D. I'll see you later," I said, but she was already far too engrossed in packing her things, giving me a distracted goodbye. I shook my head, the corners of my lips going up even higher as I left the room.
Thank God I wouldn't have to come back to this creepy ass church anymore. I really hadn't even thought of asking Davina move in with me; it was such a spur of the moment kind of thing, but I had no doubts then and no doubts now. She'd be safer with me than here, with the witches, or even Marcel.
At the though of my friend, I went to text him about this new development, coming across a message from Elijah along the way.
Elijah M. We'll be meeting the witches at 7:00 PM at the compound.
You OK, I'll be there.
I stuffed my phone back into my pocket after responding to Elijah and texting Marcel about Davina. Seven was two hours away, so I had time to go home and freshen up before the meeting.
I wasn't nervous; I'd already been here before, already done it all, but I did feel a weird pressure to do this well. Something in me said Klaus was counting on me to fail, so it was my job to prove him wrong.
I walked right into the compound later without standing out front for ten minutes like I did this morning. I was gonna have to get used to this all eventually and I'd prefer that'd happen sooner rather than later.
I was apparently earlier than everyone else because there wasn't a Mikaelson or red-haired witch in sight. I checked my watch: 6:30, it read. Earlier than I expected, but that was fine with me. I wiped the imaginary dust off my outfit: slacks and a tight white dress shirt that I'd unbuttoned just enough to not look like a female Elijah. Resemblance to the Mikaelsons was not what I needed right now.
I was just about to pull out my phone to keep myself busy when I heard footsteps behind me. I turned around, my eyes meeting the mother of Klaus' kid. "Oh, hi," she greeted, a surprised look on her face. "What are you- oh, right, Elijah told me you guys were meeting with the witches tonight."
"Yeah- it, uh, appears that I'm a bit early." I chuckled, making small talk even though I really didn't want to have any unnecessary conversations with anyone that lived in this building.
"No, it's a good quality. Elijah's like that," she told me. I nodded, ignoring my thoughts which were questioning her relationship with Elijah. Something told me it was a lot more complicated than it seemed. "I wanted to thank you, by the way."
My brows furrowed. "Hm? For what?"
"For covering me that day with Elijah- and for saving me from that vampire that day, too," she expressed with an almost bashful look on her face. "I realize I was pretty rude to you, but I was really just having a bad day, and-"
"And I'm a vampire, so you were just being careful." She let a small, embarrassed smile form on her lips which I reciprocated. "It's fine, I get it. I'd do the same if I were in your shoes."
"Thank you for understanding; I really appreciate it." I told her it was no problem, resisting the urge to be nosy and ask why she didn't wanna tell Elijah what happened; I didn't want to risk her growing suspicious of me.
Before Hayley and I could fall into an uncomfortable silence, Klaus and Elijah strolled in through the gates into the courtyard. Klaus' eyes narrowed between me and Hayley, probably in a protective manner, while Elijah greeted me.
"Y/N, sorry to have kept you waiting-"
"Oh, no, it was no biggie." I gestured to Hayley. "I had good company, anyways." Hayley smiled, excusing herself after wishing us luck with the witches, but I doubted I'd need it.
I was good and I knew it. Half a millennium alone in the world taught you how to negotiate, how to get your way when you had no one else on your side. Really, I was less worried about the witches and more worried about being in Klaus' presence.
Speak of the devil.
"The witches should arrive soon," Klaus announced, glancing down at his watch then up at me, a smirk arising on his face. "And then you'll be able to play your hand."
I stopped myself from narrowing my eyes or doing anything that showed I felt the shade he was so obviously throwing my way. Clearly, without even having really spoken to me, dear old dad has decided he doesn't like me, much less trust me. I don't know why that hurt because I don't even want to be talking to him period. I guess there's just a part of me that disagrees with that.
Like this morning, Klaus didn't waste a second before walking over to the bar. "Can I interest you in a drink whilst we wait, love?" He poured himself a glass. "Some... liquid courage, if you will."
He's being a jackass on purpose.
I declined, "No thanks." I shook my head. "I don't need it." And I also don't need to be under the influence around the Originals.
Klaus chuckled in an almost sardonic manner. Like the night I met him, he had a dark air around him that he barely cared to conceal. Klaus wanted people to notice that about him; he wanted people to be scared. And I was, but for entirely different reasons.
However, I'd sooner die before letting him know that. If he wanted to play hard ball, then I'd be the best damn batter he's ever seen.
Klaus turned around, tipping his glass to me. "You're quite confident."
"Well, I can back it up," I quipped back. In response, he sarcastically smiled, taking a sip of the brown liquid in his hand. From the corner of my eye, I saw Elijah glancing in between us watchfully.
"So I've heard- and you know, it got me thinking, what exactly is it about you that makes you so special?" This-
I was given time to pause by Elijah's interjection. "Niklaus."
He held his hands out in the air. "What, Elijah? I'm just curious," he reasoned.
I cut Elijah off before he could say something more in order to respond. "No, it's alright, Elijah; I understand the skepticism." I looked back to Klaus whose eyes just so imperceptibly narrowed. "The reason why people are more inclined to listen to me is because I don't operate with a desire to instill fear in others, just respect." I maintained eye contact with Klaus, hoping he was picking up what I was putting down. I knew he got the message when I saw his jaw clench.
He looked like he was going to say something else, but before he could, the gates to the compound opened. All three of us looked toward the entrance to see Genevieve and two other witches walking beside her, like a little entourage.
Elijah seemed to let out a sigh of relief at the intrusion. "Genevieve," he greeted, walking toward them. "Thank you for agreeing to this meeting. Please, take a seat. Can we interest you in any beverages?"
While Elijah was clearly doing his best to mediate, Klaus didn't say a word, only burning a hole into the side of Genevieve's head with a hard glare while he drank his scotch.
The three of them sat down on one couch as Elijah and I sat on the one parallel to it. "No, that'll be alright," she said, crossing her legs. "I know you appreciate verity, Elijah, so I'm gonna be honest: I wouldn't have agreed to this meeting if it weren't for the woman sitting next to you."
Elijah nodded. "Yes, I'm completely aware. Y/N is here to make sure that we both get what we want and to ensure that the future of the Quarter, and everyone in it, is prosperous."
I smiled, holding my hand out. "Hello, it's lovely to meet you. I've heard many good things about you." That was a lie.
Shaking my hand, she responded, "Likewise. The elders of the coven are practically smitten with you. I've never seen witches so eager to deal with a vampire."
"Well, I hope that, after our discussion, you will also be more eager to work with the Mikaelsons."
Genevieve almost scoffed at what I said. In my peripheral, I saw Klaus roll his eyes—at me or her, I'm unsure. "Please, Y/N—I'm sure you're aware of who exactly these people are and what they've done. Even though you're a vampire, you have to admit it's outrageous." Her voice was incredulous.
I really don't understand what she was making a big fuss about. From the way the story was told, Genevieve used to have a huge crush on Klaus back in the day—ew—but I wasn't gonna actually use that against her. I didn't want her to resent me; I actually needed her to like me for this to work.
"I understand where you're coming from," I told her, managing to muster up a sympathetic expression. "But we all want the same thing: peace. That is the final destination; there are so many stops along the way to get there, so if peace is where we truly want to be, then we need to be willing to put aside our differences."
The redhead sighed. "I hear what you're saying, but how can we expect peace while working with these people? How do you expect us to trust them?" Now, Klaus scoffed, causing both Genevieve and Elijah to look over at him, Elijah with a more stern look in his eyes. I, on the other hand, ignored him altogether, focusing completely on the witch in front of me.
I said her name to get her attention back onto me, thus causing Elijah to look away from his brother, too. "I am, in no way, asking you to trust blindly. We're willing to negotiate; just state your terms." I knew this was dangerous, giving her the opportunity to ask for whatever she wanted, but the witches had been recently oppressed; giving them the chance to ask for what they wanted was like an apology of sorts, one that I felt they'd appreciate.
Genevieve looked hesitant, glancing at both of her associates, to Elijah, Klaus, and then back to me. Even without looking at him, I could feel Klaus staring at me, probably questionably. None of them were expecting that move.
See, because I was representing the Mikaelsons, Genevieve expected me to state their terms first then negotiate since they were more powerful. So, of course she was surprised.
After a beat of silence, she finally spoke up. "We want to practice freely."
"Done."
"And we want to celebrate our festivals without a hassle."
"Of course."
"And we want to reclaim witch territory for ourselves and ourselves alone, like the Lafayette cemetery."
"Reasonable," I noted, waiting for her to say something else. When she didn't, I asked, "Is there anything else we can give you? You don't have to answer right now; we'll take some time then I'll get a contract drafted-"
"Esther Mikaelson's grimoire." At her interjection, the room went silent. I didn't even wanna know what Klaus looked like right now, but Genevieve sure as hell seemed to have regained her confidence. "We want Esther Mikaelson's grimoire." That was one ballsy request.
"Are you out of your mind?" For the first time since the witches walked into the compound, Klaus spoke. I looked over at him to see a look of shock adorning his face as if the redhead just tried to kill him—and, I mean, was he that far off?
You don't ask for the Original Witch's spell book without wanting to kill or at least having the ability to kill if you so need it.
Elijah seemed to recover from a shock of his own, trying to calm his brother down. "Niklaus-"
"I am not giving you my mother's grimoire." Klaus had set his drink down, walking toward where we were all sitting. Smoke might as well have been coming out of his ears. I knew that, if I were one of the three witches sitting across from me, I'd be shitting myself. "After what you tried to do to my family, you expect me to hand over-"
"Niklaus." Elijah cut him off, but more firmly and this time Klaus actually listened, turning to look over at Elijah with hard eyes. His eyes flickered to me for a split second before looking back at Genevieve—or glaring, rather.
While Genevieve looked slightly startled, I saw the dead-set expression on her face. It'd be hard to try and convince her that Esther's grimoire wasn't what the witches wanted, but it was possible.
Gears turned in my head as I thought it over until a quick idea popped into my head. At that moment, I began, "I'm sorry, Genevieve. We can do everything else you mentioned, put it in writing, but Esther Mikaelson's grimoire is a no-go." I saw her shaking her head before I even finished.
"Then no deal-"
Elijah cut in, "Genevieve, please-"
"I can give you the next best thing." I caught Genevieve's attention easily, along with everyone else's in the room. In seconds, I had come up with a quick fix; it was a gamble, but if you aren't willing to go big, then go the fuck home. "I currently have a Bennett grimoire in my possession." I paused, gauging her reaction. Clearly, this night was full of surprises.
I suppressed the urge to glance over at my relatives; I had a feeling that I already knew what their faces looked like.
Genevieve struggled to compose herself, so I continued, "It's yours, so long as you accept." I understood what was happening here: the witches or the spirits or whatever were already decided, and they wanted the Mikaelson grimoire, but how could they be upset with what I was offering? A Bennett spell book was a damn good replacement if I ever saw one, and if anyone knew that, it was Esther's children themselves.
I knew the history—I've spent my life learning it. Ayana taught Esther everything she knew; the Bennett bloodline was one of the strongest, maybe even stronger than the Mikaelsons. And although I doubt Genevieve knew the lengthy Bennett history, she quickly got her bearings and responded, "I- we accept-"
I cut her off, smiling, "Great. Now our turn." I clasped my hands together. "You guys can keep your sanctuaries, the cemetery and whatnot, but in shared areas like the rest of the Quarter, we ask that you remain peaceful and avoid altercations with other factions. We're asking the same of the other factions, as well. Similarly, the Mikaelsons don't want conflicts, so we'd also like to avoid altercations in that area."
It seemed pretty simple because it was. It was like what Elijah said to me that night in Rousseau's: everybody wants power, and the witches were no different. They didn't agree to this meeting for peace; they agreed because they wanted power, and the Mikaelsons struck this deal for the same exact reason, even if that's not how the nobleman would've phrased it.
While I didn't provide the witches with the same prepared list of terms, what I was asking for would have the same effect. The Originals were already on top, so what more did they really need to ask for?
Genevieve, once again, looked over at the two girls sitting next to her who both nodded at the silent question she was asking. When she turned back to me, the smallest of smiles was on her lips. "You have yourself a deal."
I reciprocated her expression as we both stood up. I shook her hand. "Pleasure doing business with you. I'll work on getting that contract drafted in more detail, so please, come to us with any other requests you may have."
Genevieve nodded, letting go of my hand, and Elijah took the pleasantries from there, walking them out of the compound. This left Klaus and I alone momentarily.
I looked over at him to see that he was already staring at me. I felt a chill go down my spine from how intently he was looking at me, my mini adrenaline rush dying down. It looked almost like he was picking me apart with his gaze.
I didn't want him to think I had something to hide, so I held his stare. We were both silent until Elijah walked back. This time, he didn't seem to sense the tension in the room—that, or he just chose to ignore it.
"Thank you, Y/N," he said. I looked away from Klaus to smile in response, but the second I did, he broke his vow of silence.
"How do you have a Bennett grimoire in your possession?" Klaus' voice was cold and accusatory, just as his eyes were. Elijah just might have frozen had he not been a thousand-years-old; hell, I probably would have, too, but I'd already been crafting an explanation as soon as the idea popped into my head.
Not the real explanation, but one that made more sense.
I shrugged, feigning nonchalance. "I met one a few hundred years ago. She died after she was in the wrong place, wrong time, but she left that book to me."
Klaus didn't look sold. "A Bennett witch left her grimoire with you, a vampire? Not with her family?"
"Well, to be fair, she wasn't in touch with her family at that time," I retorted. "And I was human at the time so, yes, she left it to me because she knew it could come of use one day."
Klaus didn't reply to me, instead choosing to continue staring me down. However, his glare was now lessened, so I knew he sort of believed me, even though he had doubts.
In the time that Klaus wasn't saying anything, Elijah cleared his throat, bringing the attention back to him. When I looked over, he smiled and tried to further de-escalate the situation. "Thank you, again, Y/N."
That was my cue to leave. "No problem. Are you okay with meeting up tomorrow to discuss the contract?"
He nodded. "Of course. Lunch?"
"Sounds great," I said, grabbing my bag that I'd left on the armchair next to me. "I'll see you tomorrow then."
Elijah bid me farewell while Klaus remained mute, but I still felt him staring at me, even as I was walking out; only when I'd walked two minutes away from the compound did I finally let go of that feeling
I didn't speed all the way home this time like I had been doing recently after exiting the Abattoir. Instead, I decided to take this time to think since I really haven't gotten a moment alone all day.
The excuse I gave Klaus wasn't too far from the truth—I only warped it slightly. I didn't know who he knew or how well he knew my mother before he slept with her, but I knew that if I gave him the real story, there was a possibility that he'd find out who I was.
The real story was that my mother was best friends with a Bennett. Almost like history repeating itself if you thought about it; Amelia Bennett was to my family what Ayana was to the Mikaelsons. She was both a mentor to my mother and me.
In reality, we were a lot closer than I made it sound. She was a lot closer to my mother than she was with the rest of her family. We were in Salem; the witch trials were just beginning, so any witch in the area was either preparing to leave or to die. She was anticipating the latter, so before she died, she made sure to leave the assets she had to my mother.
The other Bennetts didn't dispute this, fleeing west. The rest of the story, I try not to think about. I needed to be strong, for Davina, for Marcel, for Amelia, for my mother, and for myself; otherwise, everything I've sacrificed would've been for nothing.
With that thought, I had a new resolution.
This, what I was doing here in New Orleans, could not fail. I have not lived the life I've lived just to fail. So from this moment forward, I decided to be better, to be stronger. No more quivering at the mention of my father or his baby, no more getting shaken up by conversations with the Mikaelsons.
Walking toward my apartment, I made myself a promise.
This city will not break me, no matter what.

Chapter One
The air of Small Heath seemed to have a way of sticking to your skin or clothing. It left you feeling almost sticky and sweaty from the grim that would collect no matter how careful you chose to be. The people had grown used to such things and one could never be too precious about their clothing. Children seemed to run wild with their dogs and friends, men in the factories returning home covered in soot and the women trying to keep their homes cleaned to the best of their ability. Katherine Redwine had been brought up on Watery Lane and in her young mind, she believed that this was always going to be the case. “Kat, are you listening?” The annoyed voice of Ada rang through her ears pulling her attention away from the window. “Yes, of course. You were saying?” Katherine gave her friend a smile and lifted her cup of tea to her lips. It was rare that the two girls got moments like this and she didn’t mean to waste her time lost in the clouds. Ada watched Katherine with a sad smile of her own. Since the war Katherine hadn’t been the same, which she supposed was the common saying amongst the rest of the world. “I was saying that I think it is time that we get you back out there. You are a beautiful girl and I know anyone would be lucky to have you.” Ada leaned forward in her chair and crossed her ankles. “He wouldn’t want you to live like this. Pat-” “I’m alright I promise, I am just not ready. There’s still too much to do right now.” It wasn’t a complete lie. Since the men had come back home it had been a hard adjustment for her. First her brother had been killed and the man she had loved for most of her life had simply turned his back and had barely spoken a full sentence to her. And now that same man seemed to have found more trouble as if he had been fishing for it. Katherine shook her head placing the cup down back on the table giving the young Shelby woman’s hand a small squeeze. “But in the meantime I look forward to hearing all about how sweet and kind Freddie is.” At the mention of Freddie Thorne, Ada's cheeks began to flush, the usual reaction when the man was pulled into the conversation or whenever Ada told her friend of the latest escapades the two had gotten into. Katherine watched as Ada continued to talk about how much she loved Freddie and the latest times they had to meet up in secret, the forbidden romance felt like a dream she had had once. She had been so young when she first met him but those blue eyes of Thomas Shelby would forever haunt her. She was sure she would die with the image of his eyes, his smile permanently imprinted into her thoughts. She had been so angry with him, the sting of her slap across his face still stung her hand when she thought about it for too long. Of course when she had heard of what he found she wanted to try to knock some sense into him.
And now she had a sinking feeling in her gut that felt like it was growing larger and larger each time she tried to swallow. Leave it to the most clever man she knew to bring down the eye of the government, the IRA, and god knows who else by finding and taking those guns.
Thomas fucking Shelby.
Those words rang in her mind when her man had told her, they rang when she confronted Charlie Strong and Curly. And once she had left Ada making her way down the street and heard of his stunt with the Chinese in a show to gather more bets. Any time she had tried to tell Thomas that he was getting into things he had no business doing, he would tell her that it “wasn’t women’s business” and would drop it at that, leaving Katherine to stare at him in a mix of frustration and continued heartache.
Katherine began to make her way to the Garrison pub for her usual one drink with Harry giving a small nod and smile to the people she passed and in return would gain her own “Mrs. Shelby” greeting. She had grown numb to the nickname and had given up on correcting those that continued to use it and she decided to see it as a type of shield. No one fucked with the Peaky Blinders and the Shelby name went a long way in Small Heath. If Thomas had taught her anything it was to appear as calm and unbothered as possible when inside you just want to shoot something, or rather someone.
“Welcome in my lady, your usual?” Harry said, placing a glass down on the bar once Katherine had entered. She made her way to the middle of the bar and took her usual seat. “Yes please, Harry.” Katherine gave the older man a kind smile and glanced about the pub. The usual bar flies were about four glasses in and only acknowledged her with a simple nod or not at all. “How have you been Harry? Haven’t been given any trouble have you?”
“None, miss. Mostly the occasional drunkard fight but it ends well enough.” Harry placed the Irish whiskey down for the Redwine and leaned on the bar top. “You look as if you need a good drink and a good sleep.” Katherine huffed a laughed at her friend’s words and shrugged taking a sip from the amber liquid. “Don’t I always look this way?” She teased tilting her head. She had always enjoyed Harry’s company; he was kind in his own way and cared for the Garrison like it should have been. This was home and he had taken care of her when she had gotten so drunk she hadn’t been able to stand and he made sure that she would never reach that low again. He had made Katherine promise to not lose herself in her grief or heartbreak. He had been the father figure that she needed after Patrick had been killed.
“Kat, don’t bullshit me.” Harry shook his head. Katherine spun her glass slightly, his gentle but stern tone was comforting in a sense. It was the same tone he had when he found her in the private room that Thomas always used. She had broken down and cried in Harry’s arms and was more whiskey than person and she was sure her breath could have caused an explosion if she lit a match. Earlier that day they had held a service for Patrick and it had really hit her that he was gone, her big brother, her protector was nowhere to be found. Just like her Tommy, sweet happy Tommy who was able to light up a room with his smile and whose laugh was contagious seemed to have died the same night. Harry had listened as she cried and mourned the lives lost and dreams that were crushed but once she was done he picked her up and helped her upstairs and cleaned her up and put her to bed. He had banned anyone giving her any kind of alcohol in the Garrison until she was able to function. He would be damned if the sweet girl turned into one of the men he served. “I’m fine Harry, I promise.” Katherine was touched as he watched her but before he could comment the doors to the Garrison were pushed open as the one man who she couldn’t stand walked through in the most attention way he could have.
Fucking Thomas.
(It will get better I promise but let me know what you think!)

BLOUKOUT || FORMULA 1
I think we're all chronically online enough here to know what's going on, and rightly so, on TikTok right now, but don't worry, if for some reason you've been in a cave the last few days and haven't heard , let me explain everything with such precision.
In recent days, the Met Gala 2024 was unveiled, and with it celebrities from all lists came together with a single cause, to put themselves in the spotlight with exaggerated clothes and a ticket more expensive than yours and my life. Among these was the influencer hayleyybaylee, an American influencer who thought it would be wise to record, edit and publish a video with her exaggerated clothes, heading to a dance that only the elite within the biggest elites have the right to go to, in the audio of the video? a line that is certainly historically excruciating.
while Rafah, the only theoretically safe place, or at least that was what had been promised to the Palestinian people, was being completely bombed, Hayley was publishing a video with the audio of Marie Antoinette: “let them eat cake”. If you, like me, are a history lover, you know well the episode in history that the French people lived from then on.
With the memory of this audio, we reclaim our power as the people in control, we gave these people the platform and from these people we can take the platform away at any time we want. If the government and the rich are not giving their time to those in need, we will need to force their gaze in the direction we want.
Here we have a term: the people for the people.
because it's literally all we have.
with that, we brought our guillotines outside and decided to take from them what they don't know how to use; their voices and their platforms. blokout2024 is a line that anyone can participate in, the best way to help is to share lists and that includes your own, but it was bothering me how there were names that never appeared there, the formula 1 drivers.
These playboys who spend the year doing Vrom Vrom don't pay attention to anything that doesn't affect them and this was seen with the whole Christian Horner harassment case and some of the reactions to this case. It's time to demand some responsibility from them, they are not babies, they are not children, they are men who are always ready to defend harassers and say that they respect racists and criminals.
“but love, boys can't talk about it” Sir Lewis Hamilton, as always and once again, proved that they can. the man continues to publish links and news about Palestine, and this is not recently, and we know that when Lewis makes donations, he is not in the habit of taking a stand on them, just as he recently did for the Brazilian people with the case of Rio Grande do Sul, the other pilots and their partners just don't care. not to mention the teams and their bosses. This even affects the Formula 1 Academy, with Charlotte Tilbury as a sponsor and frequently in the paddock, for those who don't know, Charlotte recently fired Bella Hadid, a Palestinian woman, for protesting and continuing to speak about the country of her blood and family.
remembering that there are convinced Zionists within the paddock, such as Lance Stroll's girlfriend, sister and brother-in-law, the latter is also Daniel Ricciardo's best friend. Tell me who you hang out with and I'll tell you who you are.
I'm not here telling you to stop liking your favorites, I'm not here telling you to stop watching the races, I love some of these and it will hurt me to block them, but not as much as it hurts me to know that they close their eyes and remain quiet in all their luxury, I'm here saying that we need to demand a position from these men and women, we were the ones who gave them the platform, how many people in Palestine can be fans of these people who ignore their suffering on a daily basis? so keep writing fanfics, follow the gossip pages, but the officials need to take a stand
If even the swifties are doing it, why can't we do it?

Hayley! I hope you're well! I come into your inbox to ask about your thoughts and opinions on each spectre, and your favorite ones! Love your blog! :D
HIIII!! I’m so fantastic thank YOU for coming in here. I love your art and your rambles.
My favorite spectres currently are Will’s and Duke’s. But I really love them all. I’ll go into the opinions now
Annabel’s Lady in White - I think she’s beautiful. I love her abilities and the whole bride thing she has going on. I at first wished her dress was more detailed but it’s fine to grow on me. I love the petals, and the hole in her chest is agonizing. Such a pretty spectre. kiss of death is just sooooo. idk her abilities are definitely one of my top favorites.
Morella’s Guardian Spirit - Plain-ish compared to the others, but still fantastic. I feel like her and Annabel are slept on because of how early they were revealed. I love how long her hair gets and the whole celtic vibe. and that she’s mainly defense with the healing and stuff! it’s very unique and it says sooo much about her past. if it were me i’d make her look a little less human wirh maybe more glowing or something but she’s still fabulous :)
Pluto’s Cryptid - im so so so interested in this because apparently domesticated cryptids are super rare? I wanna know more about the other cryptids poppet mentioned so badly. its so fucked that he has a collar too!!! he wanted to escape society but even in death it's like he's bound by the neck. I'm dying for info on that dumb coat too. He's so silly looking. I really wanna see his other abilities. I'll have a stronger opinion when that comes. Ada's Banshee
- I am dying to know what "Mark of the Grave" is so bad. And I love her confusing ass torso. Is she a shadow. is it a dress. I want to know. also LOVE how her limbs being detachable/having the stitch marks implies she was chopped up and buried like that. and her hat. thats a very "southern belle lady" sort of hat. she gets to be the lady she always wanted, just ugly and hideous!! love her and i love her spectre. "fear itself" is one of my favorite abilities and i hope she utilizes it more cough cough on will-
Prospero's Shadow Man - i am dying to know if he can take the mask off. imagine he's like. a sickly corpse looking kind of thing. like himself but rotting or weak as hell. i LOVE his abilities i just wish he had more detaaaailing. hes so cool and handsome though. i also think its super weird/cool how he has to activate his abilities with the stopwatch. i havent seen any other spectres have a "trigger point" like that. would he be rendered useless without it? Montresor's Dybbuk - nipple rings. sorry anyways - i love the chains. because it's not like he's using them, he's the one chained. and the whole. goat legs thing. bc goats are associated with the devil for some reason. I wonder why that is. idk i just love the whole demon thing. because he's been seen as such since like. his birth. and he cant even escape it in death. love it love his shit. his ability to force his way into peoples' memories is CRAZY too i cannot WAIT to see more of that. Eulalie's Chimera - SOOOO pretty. So aesthetically pleasing. I love how she can make stuff with her dreams!!! and the fact that its implied she can yank malevolent spectres back into their regular forms is soooo cool. and just the fact that she can neutralize other spectres in general is such a unique power. shes like defense similar to morella, just in a different way minus healing. i love her. i really dont dislike any spectre i just love them all. Berenice's Strigoi - I will forever be mad that her teeth count as an ability but WHATEVER. She's still badass. I can only imagine how it must feel to basically lose your hands. I'm really excited to see what "Bloodlust" as an ability does. like there are so many cool spectre abilities we havent seen in action yet. The bite that makes you drunk will forever be iconic too. I love her look and i love how her whole outfit is directly correlated to her time period. also love how like each mouth on her is like. its own being. she cant control it. Duke's Poltergeist - I need to like control myself because I will yap nonstop about this one. The NEONS the colors are just fantastic and I LOOOOVE HIS EYES. THE EYES. all of his abilities fuck so hard and i love how like. his "hypnosis" isnt really like full hypnosis its more like a very powerful suggestion? and he couldnt even figure out how to get ada out of it? like he didnt TELL her to use her ability on montresor, he just kinda planted the idea in her head. i also noticed that one of his abilities IS levitation despite us seeing other spectres float on multiple occasion. so the key difference here is the telekinesis portion of the power. just thought that was silly. love him. i love duke. he's my 2nd fave. Will's Doppelganger - i physically have to stop myself from writing a page's worth of bs here. He has DIRT IN HIS JOINTS. like he's DIRTY. like buried and forgotten!! and if he's dust bowl era like so many of us think, perhaps its that same dust. he was left buried in it...forgotten. unidentified. And and and he's SO OP. everyone IC is underestimating how he has one of the most powerful spectres. He was able to almost fool the misfits as duke, he honestly did a fantastic job. He has to memorize so much. like its genuinely impressive. and then his ribbons. notice how they wrap around HIM before/during use. like he's fucking tangled in in them too, not just his victims. i dont think he's ever been free. he's never not been wrapped up in someone else's shit. he's never been "william". i- i need to stop. hes the best. best spectre- and i pray that the characters realize how much POWER he really has.

After facing challenges and overcoming threats together, they come together for a heartwarming Christmas celebration filled with laughter, love, and festive traditions. The family exchanges gifts, shares intimate moments, and expresses gratitude for the strength and hope Y/n brings to their lives.
Warnings: Emotional moments, Mention of past challenges and struggles, Teasing and banter between family members, Festive holiday atmosphere, Gratitude and love expressed between family members, Reflection on family relationships and bonds
Klaus let out a choked sob as he heard your voice. He leaned forward and wrapped his arms around you, holding you tight. "My little wolf," he whispered, his voice thick with emotion. "You're back. Thank god, you're back."
He held you for a long moment, just savoring the feeling of having you in his arms again. Eventually, he pulled back and gazed into your eyes.
"I was so scared," he admitted, his voice filled with vulnerability. "I thought I'd lost you forever. But you're here. You're safe."
You reached up and wiped the tears from his cheeks. "I'm here, Dad," you said, your voice growing stronger with each word. "I'm not going anywhere."
Klaus smiled through his tears, his heart filled with gratitude. "I love you, Y/n," he said, his voice shaking with emotion. "I'll never let anything happen to you again."
Klaus turned toward the door, his smile growing wider. "Elijah! Rebekah! Kol! Freya! Hayley!" he called out. "Come quickly! Y/n is awake!"
Within moments, the rest of the Mikaelson family and Hayley rushed into the room, their faces filled with relief and joy.
"Y/n!" Rebekah exclaimed, her eyes shining with tears. "You're back! Thank goodness!"
"We were so worried," Elijah said, his voice filled with emotion. "We didn't know what we would do without you."
Kol grinned and pulled you into a tight hug. "Looks like you're tougher than we thought, little wolf," he said.
Freya stepped forward, a smile on her face. "Welcome back, Y/n," she said softly. "We're all so glad you're okay."
Hayley pulled you into her arms, tears streaming down her face. "Oh, my baby," she whispered, her voice choked with emotion. "I'm so sorry I couldn't protect you. I promise I'll never let anything happen to you again."
You hugged her back, feeling the love and warmth of your family surrounding you. "It's okay, Mom," you said, your voice filled with reassurance. "We're all here now. We're all together."
As you looked around at your family, you felt a sense of peace wash over you. You knew that no matter what happened in the future, you would always have them by your side.
The rest of the family stayed with you for hours, talking and laughing and catching up. And as the sun began to rise outside the window, you drifted off to sleep, secure in the knowledge that you were safe and loved.
Days passed, and with each day, you felt your strength returning. You were eager to get out of bed and start exploring the world again, but your family was hesitant to let you go.
"You need to rest," Hayley said, her voice filled with concern. "You've been through a lot, and we don't want you pushing yourself too hard."
You sighed, feeling frustrated. "I'm fine," you said, your voice growing sharper. "I'm not a child anymore, Mom. I can take care of myself."
Klaus stepped forward, a small smile playing on his lips. "Ah, I see where you get your stubbornness from," he said, his voice teasing.
You rolled your eyes, but you couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. You knew that if anyone could understand your need to be independent, it was your father.
Rebekah laughed, her eyes dancing with amusement. "Oh dear," she said, her voice playful. "It looks like we have two Klaus's to deal with now."
Klaus grinned, his eyes meeting yours. "That's right, sister," he said, his voice filled with pride. "Y/n is just as stubborn and independent as I am."
You smiled back at him, feeling a sense of connection and kinship with your father. You knew that he understood you in a way that no one else could.
But even as you reveled in your newfound independence, you knew that your family was just looking out for you. They loved you, and they wanted to make sure you were safe and healthy.
And so, you agreed to take things slow, to listen to your body and to let your family help you when you needed it. You knew that there would be plenty of time for adventure in the future, but for now, you were content to be surrounded by the people who loved you most.
Vincent's expression was grave as he approached the four Mikaelson siblings. "I have a matter of great importance to discuss with you all," he said, his voice low. "But we must speak privately. It is not something that should be overheard by anyone else."
The four Mikaelsons siblings exchanged worried glances, but nodded in agreement. They knew Vincent well enough to know that he wouldn't be making such a request lightly.
Vincent led them to a quiet, secluded room in the compound, and closed the door firmly behind them. Once they were all seated, he took a deep breath.
Rebekah stepped forward, her eyes blazing with anger. "You can't do this to us," she said, her voice dangerously low. "It took months to get Y/n to talk to us again. We're just starting to rebuild our relationship. If we leave now, we might lose her forever."
Vincent's expression was sympathetic, but he didn't back down. "I understand how difficult this is for you," he said. "But the threat is too great. If you stay here, you could put Y/n in even more danger. You need to trust me on this."
Klaus snarled, his fangs extending. "We don't trust anyone but ourselves," he said, his voice dripping with venom. "And we're not going to let some vague threat force us to abandon my daughter again.”
Kol scoffed, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "So, what, we're supposed to just go to Y/n and say 'Hey, we're leaving again because Vincent told us to'? Yeah, that'll go over well."
Elijah stepped forward, his expression serious. "And if we are bringing danger to Y/n, then why did she wake up from the coma in the first place?" he asked, his voice filled with suspicion. "It seems more likely that our presence is actually helping her, not harming her.”
Vincent sighed, knowing that this was not going to be an easy conversation. "I understand your concerns," he said. "But the fact is, we don't know exactly what caused Y/n to wake up. And we can't risk the possibility that your presence here is somehow putting her in danger."
Klaus glared at Vincent, his eyes flashing with anger. "This is ridiculous," he said. "You're just trying to control us, like always. We're not leaving, and that's final."
Vincent watched as the Mikaelsons siblings stormed out of the room, their expressions thunderous. He sighed deeply, knowing that he had failed to convince them of the danger.
Just as he was about to leave, a voice behind him spoke up. "Vincent," You said. "We need to talk."
Vincent turned around to see you standing there, your expression serious. He took a deep breath, steeling himself for another difficult conversation.
"Of course, Y/n," he said. "What can I help you with?"
You walked towards him, your eyes locked onto his. "I overheard your conversation with my family," you said. "And I want to know what's going on. Why are you so insistent that they leave again?”
Vincent hesitated for a moment before speaking. "They still have the hollow on themselves so it’s a threat to the city, Y/n," he said. "And we know that your family's presence here can make things worse. We're just trying to protect you, and everyone else.”
"And I heard you talking to that witch," you continued, your tone now a mix of urgency and apprehension. "You said there's only one person who can defeat the Hollow."
Vincent's eyes widened imperceptibly, realizing how much you had overheard. He hesitated for a moment, choosing his words carefully. "Y/n, don't jump to conclusions," he said cautiously.
"Don't insult my intelligence, Vincent," you pressed, your voice firm. "Tell me."
Vincent sighed, his shoulders slumping slightly. "Fine. But promise me you won't react like Klaus," he requested, his gaze pleading.
You nodded, your expression serious. "Just tell me."
Vincent met your gaze, his voice low but steady. "The only person who can defeat the Hollow... is you."
The revelation hung in the air between you and him, heavy with both promise and uncertainty.
Klaus and his siblings found Freya and Hayley in the study, their expressions serious as they gathered around them. Elijah took a deep breath, breaking the uneasy silence. "Freya, Hayley," he began, his voice steady but tinged with concern, "Vincent approached us with urgent news."
Freya looked up, her expression shifting from curiosity to apprehension. "What did he say?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Klaus stepped forward, his gaze unwavering. "He told us to leave again because it's not safe for us to stay in New Orleans any longer," he explained, his tone grave.
Hayley's brows furrowed in concern. "Why? What's changed?" she pressed, her worry for her daughter evident in her voice.
Rebekah spoke up next, her tone resolute. "He mentioned that the threat of the Hollow is escalating," she continued, her eyes flickering between Freya and Hayley. "And that we need to leave to protect ourselves and Y/n."
Freya's grip tightened on the edge of the table, processing the gravity of their situation. "So, you're leaving again," she stated, her voice tinged with resignation.
Klaus nodded solemnly. "at first we didn’t want to, but then we thought about it.," he affirmed, his expression reflecting the weight of their decision. "For Y/n's safety and to investigate further."
Hayley's eyes widened in realization. "But it took so much for her to trust you again," she protested, her voice catching with emotion. "Freya's right, it's not fair to uproot her after everything."
Elijah's shoulders sagged slightly, acknowledging their concerns. "I know it's difficult," he began, his voice gentle yet firm. "But we must do what's necessary to protect our family."
Freya exhaled deeply, her resolve hardening. "Fine," she conceded, her tone clipped with determination. "But we'll make sure Y/n is prepared for this."
Klaus nodded in agreement, his features softened with understanding. "We'll explain it to her together," he promised, knowing the weight of their decision rested heavily on their shoulders.
And with that, the Mikaelsons began to prepare for their departure, their hearts heavy with the knowledge that once again, they must face the uncertainty and dangers that awaited them, all for the sake of protecting you.
Your brow furrowed in confusion, your mind racing with questions. "But why me?" You asked, your voice tinged with disbelief. "Can't my aunt Freya defeat it? She's incredibly powerful."
Vincent sighed softly, his expression reflecting the weight of his revelation. "Freya is powerful, there's no doubt about that," he acknowledged. "But the Hollow's magic operates differently. It requires a unique connection, a resonance that only you possess."
You struggled to comprehend the magnitude of Vincent's words. You had always admired Freya's strength and abilities, leaning on your aunt during times of uncertainty. To learn now that the fate of defeating the Hollow rested solely on your shoulders was both overwhelming and unsettling.
"I'm going to defeat it," you asserted, your voice filled with resolve. "I need to. So that my family can finally be happy, and we won't have to worry about it anymore."
Vincent regarded you with concern, his brow furrowing slightly. "Y/n, are you sure? It's incredibly dangerous," he cautioned, his voice tinged with worry.
You nodded firmly, your determination unwavering. "Yes, I'm sure," you replied with conviction. "But I can't do it alone. I need your help, Vincent. You're going to help me."
Vincent sighed softly, understanding the weight of your decision. "I'll do everything I can to support you," he promised sincerely, his gaze steady on yours. "We'll work together to prepare, and I'll be by your side every step of the way."
As Klaus and his siblings gather outside your room, preparing to search for you, they are surprised when you appear at the hallway with Vincent. You announce confidently, "Guys, we finally figured out who can defeat the Hollow."
Klaus, curious and concerned, asked, "Who? Little wolf.”
You meet their gaze solemnly as you reply, "Me."
Shock and worry flash across their faces. Klaus speaks first, his concern evident, "Little wolf, I know you're capable, but this is dangerous. I can't bear the thought of losing you."
You step forward, your resolve unwavering, "But dad it's the only way that we can all be together again.”
Before Klaus can protest further, Vincent interjects, his tone firm yet supportive, "Come on, Klaus. You know she's right. She's strong enough to do this."
Klaus hesitates, torn between protecting you and trusting in your strength. After a moment, he nods reluctantly, "Alright. Little wolf. But promise me you'll be careful."
You nod, gratitude and determination in your eyes as you prepare yourself for the daunting task ahead.
Under the full moon’s light, you and your family arrived at the secluded clearing chosen for the ritual. The atmosphere was heavy with magic, the air crackling with anticipation. You stand alongside your father Klaus, your two uncles (Elijah and Kol), and your aunt Bex, preparing themselves for what lies ahead. The air is tense with anticipation and the weight of the task they are about to undertake.
As Klaus and his siblings approach Vincent to express their gratitude, Vincent shakes his head, a mix of determination and apprehension on his face. "Don't thank me," he says quietly but firmly. "I'm only doing this for Y/n. I may be powerful, but I'm also afraid of her. I didn't want her to unleash her inner Klaus on me."
“But Thank you, Vincent.”Klaus replies sincerely. "For everything."
Vincent nods back, his gaze shifting to you, who is preparing yourself for the ritual. Deep down, he knows this is the right path, despite the risks involved.
“The ritual circle is prepared. Y/n, you must stand in the center where the Hollow’s energy is most concentrated.” Vincent tells you
You nodded, your heart pounding in your chest. You took your place in the center of the circle, surrounded by ancient symbols that glowed faintly in the moonlight.“I’m ready.”
As the ritual began, you started chanting the ancient incantation. Your voice was steady, but the intensity of the Hollow’s dark energy tested your resolve.
Vincent states “Focus on severing the connection between the Hollow and the vampires. I’ll handle the Ancestral Plane.”
Dark tendrils of shadow lashed out from the ritual circle, attempting to pull you away from her task. You stood your ground, your voice rising above the dark whispers as you continued the incantation.“I won’t let you win! This ends now!”
One by one, the vampires controlled by the Hollow began to fall, their connections to the dark force severed. The four Mikaelson siblings felt the oppressive weight of the Hollow’s grip beginning to lift.
Vincent tells you. “It’s working! Keep going, Y/n!”
With the connection severed, Vincent began his part of the ritual. He raised his arms, chanting a powerful spell that resonated with ancient magic.“Prepare for the final act. We must destroy the source of the Hollow’s power!”
The ground beneath them began to tremble as the Ancestral Plane started to crumble. The air was filled with the roar of collapsing magic as the once-stable foundation of the Hollow’s power began to break apart. “I’m almost there!”
With a final, earth-shaking command, you expelled the Hollow from the vampires’ bodies, her energy pouring into the ritual’s focus. The dark force was trapped in a vessel designed to contain its power. “Almost there! Just a little more!”
You focused all your strength on the ritual, your hands steady as you guided the energy into the vessel. With a final burst of power, the Ancestral Plane shattered, its destruction sending a shockwave of energy that dispersed the Hollow’s influence.
Exhausted and drained, you collapsed to the ground. The four Mikaelson siblings rushed to your side, their faces etched with relief and concern.
Klaus knelt beside you, his eyes filled with a rare, unguarded vulnerability. He took your hand in his, his voice thick with emotion. “You did it. You saved us all, little wolf.”
You smiled. “We did it. It’s over now.”
Klaus embraced you tightly, his pride and gratitude evident in the strength of his hold. Rebekah and Kol joined you guys, their faces wet with tears of relief.
Rebekah starts crying as she hugs you.“You were incredible, Y/n. We’re so proud of you.”
Kol smirks. “You faced the greatest challenge and emerged victorious. You’ve done something extraordinary.”
Elijah stepped closer, placing a hand on your shoulder. “You’ve given us a chance to rebuild and heal. Thank you.”
Y/n looked up at your family, your heart filled with a mixture of exhaustion and hope. “I couldn’t have done it without all of you.”
After successfully defeating the threat in the secluded clearing, you, your father, your two uncles, and aunt Bex return home, the weight of the recent battle still heavy on their minds. The journey back is quiet, each reflecting on the dangers faced and the sacrifices made to protect the family and community.
As you and your family walk through the door of home, you break the silence, your voice slightly shaky but filled with relief, "I can't believe we did it."
Klaus nods, his expression softening with pride as he replies, "You did brilliantly, little wolf. We all did."
Elijah adds calmly, "Indeed. It was a formidable challenge, but we prevailed."
Kol chimes in with a grin, trying to lighten the mood, "Who knew family outings could be this thrilling?"
Rebekah smiles warmly at you, placing a hand on your shoulder, "You were remarkable out there, sweetheart."
You return their smiles gratefully, feeling their support and love surround you. "I couldn't have done it without all of you," you admit, your voice sincere.
You and them gather in the living room, sharing stories of their individual roles in the battle, laughter mingling with relief as you and them recount the experiences. Despite the lingering tension, the home is filled with a sense of accomplishment and unity, strengthened by the shared victory. Your family and you spend the evening together, reaffirming the bonds and cherishing the moments of peace after the storm.
As the evening progresses, you and your family members find solace in each other's company. You and them sat around the fireplace, the crackling flames casting a warm glow across the room. Klaus wraps an arm around your shoulders, squeezing gently. "You showed incredible strength today, little wolf," he says proudly. "I knew you could do it."
Elijah nods in agreement, his expression serious yet filled with admiration. "Indeed. Your determination and bravery are truly remarkable."
Rebekah raises her glass in a toast, her eyes shining with pride. "To family," she says warmly. "No matter what challenges we face, we face them together."
They clink their glasses together in a quiet affirmation, the sound echoing in the room. Kol raises his beer can with a smirk, "To kicking supernatural butt!"

In that moment, you know that no matter what the future holds, you and them will always stand united.
As night falls, you and Klaus prepare to step out for a brief excursion. He adjusts his coat while you double-check your belongings, a sense of anticipation in the air. Just as your father and you are about to leave, your uncle Elijah, with a playful glint in his eye, interjects with a teasing tone, "You two better not cause any trouble out there."
Klaus chuckles, his expression amused yet affectionate. "Oh, Elijah, when have we ever caused trouble?" he retorts with a knowing smirk.
You grins mischievously, nudging your father playfully. "We'll be back before you know it," you assures Elijah, your tone teasing yet filled with warmth.
Elijah shakes his head with a fond smile, secretly enjoying your and his brother's banter. "Just be careful," he advises, unable to completely mask his concern.
Klaus nods in acknowledgment, his demeanor becoming more serious. "We will," he promises, placing a reassuring hand on your shoulder.
With a final exchange of glances and a shared understanding, you and Klaus head out into the night, leaving your uncle Elijah to watch you guys with a mixture of amusement and protective concern. As your father and you disappear into the darkness, Elijah's thoughts linger on the unpredictable nature of their lives and the unbreakable bond that ties the family together, even in the face of uncertainty.
Outside, under the canopy of stars, you are walking alongside Klaus, the night air cool and crisp around you and him. as your father and you stroll through the familiar paths near home, the steps echoing softly against the pavement.
You break the silence first, your voice carrying a hint of nostalgia. "Remember when we used to take walks like this when I was younger?" You ask, a fond smile playing on your lips.
Klaus nods, his expression softening with memories of those simpler times. "I do," he replies, his voice tinged with warmth. "It was our way of escaping the chaos, even if just for a little while."
You and him pause near a bench overlooking a moonlit garden, the scent of night-blooming flowers lingering in the air. You gazes out at the serene landscape, feeling a sense of peace washing over you. "Things have certainly changed since then," you muses, more to yourself than to your father
Klaus joins you on the bench, his presence a comforting anchor beside you. "Indeed," he agrees quietly. "But some things remain constant. Our bond, for instance."
You look at him, gratitude and love shining in your eyes. "I don't say it enough, but I'm thankful for everything you've done for me," you admit earnestly.
Klaus smiles warmly, placing a hand over you. "You've grown into a remarkable young woman, little wolf.” he says sincerely. "I'm proud of you."
You and him sit together in companionable silence for a while longer, the quiet night enveloping them in a sense of tranquility. For you, these moments with your father are a reminder of the shared strength and resilience, a testament to the unbreakable bond between them that has endured through countless challenges and triumphs.
You take a deep breath, feeling the weight of your words as you turn to your father, your voice sincere and regretful. "Dad, I want to say it again—I'm sorry for being so rude to you, my uncles, and Aunt Rebekah. I know you've all protected me from the Hollow and so much more."
Klaus looks at you with understanding and affection, his expression gentle. He places a comforting hand on your shoulder. "Y/n, we understand. You've faced challenges that have tested us all. Apology accepted, my little wolf."
You nod, grateful for your father’s understanding. You continue, your voice soft but resolute, "I've learned so much from everything we've been through. And I want you all to know how much I appreciate everything you've done for me."
Klaus smiles warmly, a mixture of pride and reassurance in his eyes. "We're a family, Y/n. We protect each other, no matter what. Always."
You lean into your father’s comforting embrace, feeling a sense of peace and love wash over you. In this moment, you know that your and his bond is stronger than any threat you guys may face, a bond forged through love, sacrifice, and unwavering loyalty.
Rebekah's voice cuts through the phone with a teasing tone . "Brother, Elijah told me you and Y/n are taking a walk. You two better not be causing any trouble!" She pauses, a playful smirk evident in her voice, before adding, "Anyways, don't forget to buy the turkey for tomorrow."
Klaus chuckles softly, shaking his head at Rebekah's playful admonition. He glances at you with a knowing smile, sharing a brief moment of amusement. "We won't cause any trouble, sister," he calls back, his voice carrying a hint of amusement. "And don't worry, we'll take care of the turkey."
You join in with a light laugh, enjoying the banter among your family members. You look up at Klaus, a glint of mischief in her eyes. "Looks like we've been warned," you remarked with a grin.
Klaus nods, his expression fond as he gazes at you. "Indeed. Let's head back little wolf," he suggests gently, his tone indicating a desire to continue enjoying his and your peaceful evening together.

As your father and you walked , you silently vowed to cherish these moments with your father and the rest of her family, knowing that love and unity are the truest gifts of all.
As you and Klaus return to the house with a turkey in hand, your uncle Kol notices the matching smirks on his brother and your faces and immediately senses mischief in the air. He steps forward, a playful accusation in his tone, "Oh no, you two. You did cause trouble, didn't you?"
Klaus glances at you with a mischievous twinkle in his eyes and nods dramatically. "Oh, we sure did," he says, playing along. "They're chasing us right now!"
Hayley raises an eyebrow skeptically, catching on to your game. "Come on, are you serious?" she asks with a hint of amusement.
You and your father burst into laughter, unable to contain your and his amusement any longer. "Oh my gosh, your faces!" You exclaim between giggles.
Kol grins, his competitive spirit rising to the challenge. "Just watch," he declares with mock seriousness. "I'm going to get you back for this."
Inside the house, the atmosphere is filled with warmth and laughter as you, Klaus , Hayley and the rest of the family gather around the kitchen island. They set the turkey down, the centerpiece of tomorrow's celebration, and exchange playful banter about their evening escapade.
Klaus raises a glass of wine, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "To causing a little mischief now and then," he proposes, a grin spreading across his face.
The others join in, clinking their glasses together in agreement. Hayley leans against the counter, shaking her head with a smile. "You two are incorrigible," she says, her tone fond yet teasing.
Kol eyes you and his brother with a mock glare, his competitive spirit still evident. "You haven't seen the last of my retaliation," he warns playfully, but his eyes betray his amusement.
You laugh, feeling a deep sense of contentment in the company of your family. "Bring it on, uncle Kol," you challenge with a playful grin. "We're ready for whatever you have in store."

Rebekah's comment about having "two Klaus" in the family elicits a mixture of amusement and playful protest. She smirks as she continues, "I guess we need to start getting ready for double trouble."
Klaus chuckles, shaking his head in mock dismay. "Heaven forbid," he jokes, his tone laced with humor. "One of me is enough, wouldn't you say?"
Kol joins in with a teasing grin, adding, "I think the world might not be ready for two of you,”
Hayley laughs, her eyes twinkling with affection as she looks at Klaus. "Oh, I don't know," she counters, her voice teasing. "It might just be twice the charm."
Kol raises an eyebrow, pretending to ponder the idea. "Two Klaus... That's a lot of ego in one family," he quips, earning a round of laughter from everyone.
As your family and you continue to jest and share in the light-hearted banter, the sense of familial camaraderie deepens. You guys prepare for the holiday festivities ahead, grateful for each other's company and the bond that holds them together through every challenge and joy.
Elijah joins in with a subtle smirk, his demeanor as composed as ever. "Indeed, Y/n has always had a kinder touch," he remarks, his tone gentle yet teasing. "A trait she undoubtedly inherited from her mother."
Klaus rolls his eyes playfully, pretending to be offended. "Ah, always the diplomat, Elijah," he replies with mock indignation. "But yes, I suppose having another 'me' with Y/n's kindness would be quite the combination."
You laugh at their banter, feeling a sense of warmth and belonging in their playful exchange. "I promise not to let the ‘my father’ side take over," you joked, earning chuckles from your family.
Rebekah smirks knowingly, interjecting with a wink. "Well, let's hope for everyone's sake that she takes after the best parts of both of you," she says with a playful glint in her eye.
Hayley feigns mock indignation, crossing her arms with a playful scowl. "Yeah, I'm still mad," she declares, her tone dripping with playful sarcasm. "I give birth to my baby girl only for her to end up like her dad."
Klaus raises an eyebrow, a grin tugging at the corners of his mouth. "Well, Hayley dear," he responds with exaggerated innocence, "consider it a compliment. After all, she did inherit my charm and impeccable sense of style."
You stifle a laugh, trying to maintain a straight face as you look at your mother. "I promise to make up for it by being the best combination of both of you," you reassured her with a teasing smile.
Hayley rolls her eyes with a smirk, unable to hide her amusement. "Oh, I'm sure you'll find your own path, sweetheart," she concedes with a wink. "Just try not to cause too much trouble along the way."
Rebekah joins in the playful banter with a mischievous glint in her eye. "If you cause too much trouble, we're definitely blaming it all on our brother," she declares with a playful smirk, casting a teasing glance in Klaus's direction.
Klaus throws his hands up in mock surrender, feigning innocence. "Hey now, don't drag me into this," he protests with an exaggerated look of surprise. "I'm the epitome of innocence and decorum."
You laugh along with the rest of your family, enjoying the light-hearted exchange. "Looks like I have a scapegoat just in case," you joke, winking at your father.
Hayley shakes her head with a grin, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "Oh, this family," she muses fondly. "Always ready with a witty comeback."
As morning arrives on Thanksgiving Day, the kitchen is bustling with activity as you and Klaus prepare to cook the turkey. The sun filters through the kitchen window, casting a warm glow over the countertops adorned with ingredients and cooking utensils.
You carefully unwrap the turkey, your expression focused yet filled with excitement. "It's going to be amazing," you said to your father, a hint of anticipation in your voice as you prepared to season the bird.
Klaus nods, a proud smile on his face as he watches you take charge in the kitchen. "I have no doubt," he replies, his voice filled with admiration. "You've learned well."
Outside, the rest of the family begins to gather, their voices mingling with the crisp morning air. Elijah enters the kitchen with a tray of vegetables, his presence calm and reassuring. "Shall we begin?" he asks, his voice carrying a hint of formality.
Rebekah follows close behind, her hands filled with spices and herbs. "I'll help with the seasoning," she offers, a playful glint in her eye as she surveys the kitchen.
Kol saunters in last, his usual smirk in place. "Just make sure you don't burn it," he jokes, earning a playful shove from you.
Klaus playfully interjects with mock indignation, his tone filled with humor as he addresses Kol's jest. "How dare you assume that my little wolf is going to burn the turkey?" he exclaims, feigning offense with a dramatic flair.
You join in with a laugh, shaking your head at your uncle Kol. "Yeah, you should know better by now," you tease, giving your father a playful nudge.
Rebekah smirks, adding fuel to the playful banter. "I think Y/n has inherited your culinary skills, Klaus," she remarks with a teasing glint in her eye. "Let's hope it's the good ones."
Klaus chuckles, his expression softening with affection as he looks at you. "I have full confidence in you, little wolf," he says warmly, his pride evident in his voice.
Elijah, ever the diplomat, steps in with a reassuring smile. "I'm sure the turkey will turn out perfectly," he assures them all, his calm demeanor bringing a sense of harmony to the playful exchange.
Hayley, chiming in with a playful remark, adds to the banter with a smirk. "If she burns the turkey, we can always blame it on Kol," she suggests with a teasing glint in her eye.
Kol raises his hands in mock surrender, feigning innocence. "Hey now, why am I always the scapegoat?" he protests with an exaggerated sigh, earning chuckles from the others.
You laugh along with them, enjoying the light-hearted teasing. "Sorry uncle, Kol," you say with a grin, "but I think you'll have to take one for the team this time."
Klaus joins in, his voice filled with amusement. "It's settled then," he declares with a playful wink at Kol. "If anything goes wrong with the turkey, it's all on you."
Rebekah nods in mock seriousness, adding fuel to the fire. "We'll make sure to remember that," she says with a smirk, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
The sun sets, casting a warm, golden hue over the dining room as the Mikaelson family gathers around the beautifully set Thanksgiving table. The aroma of roasted turkey, seasoned vegetables, and an array of delicious side dishes fills the air, creating an atmosphere of warmth and festivity.
You and your father carry the perfectly cooked turkey to the table, placing it at the center with a sense of accomplishment. The table is adorned with autumn-themed decorations, candles flickering softly, and the family's favorite dishes spread out, creating a feast for the eyes and the palate.
As everyone takes their seats, Elijah raises his glass, his expression filled with gratitude and warmth. "To family," he begins, his voice calm and sincere. "For the love, strength, and unwavering support we share. Happy Thanksgiving."
The family echoes his sentiment, raising their glasses in a toast. "Happy Thanksgiving," they chorus, clinking glasses and smiling at one another.
Rebekah, sitting beside Kol, glances around the table with a fond smile. "I'm thankful for all of you," she says softly. "For the laughter, the love, and even the occasional chaos."
Kol smirks, lifting his glass in a playful salute. "And I'm thankful for surviving another year with all of you," he jokes, earning a round of laughter.
Hayley, sitting next to you, looks at you with pride. "I'm thankful for the strength and resilience we've all shown," she adds, her voice filled with warmth. "And for the new memories we're creating together."
Klaus turns to you, his eyes filled with fatherly pride and affection. "I'm thankful for my little wolf," he says, his voice tender. "For her courage, her spirit, and the joy she brings to our lives."
You smile, feeling a deep sense of love and belonging. "I'm thankful for all of you," you replied, your voice sincere. "For being there through everything and for making this family what it is."
As you guys begin to enjoy the meal, the room fills with lively conversation, laughter, and the clinking of cutlery against plates. Your family's bond, strengthened through trials and triumphs, shines brightly as you and them share this special Thanksgiving dinner together, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
As your family and you enjoyed the Thanksgiving feast, Rebekah turns to you with a playful glint in her eye. “So, Y/n,” she begins, her tone light and teasing, “is there anyone special at school you’ve got your eye on? Any boys catching your interest?”
You feel your cheeks flush slightly, caught off guard by the question. You glance around the table, seeing the curious and amused expressions on your family’s faces. “Well,” you start, trying to keep your composure, “there might be someone.”
Kol, ever the jokester, leans in with a grin. “Oh, do tell,” he says, clearly enjoying the moment. “What’s his name? Should we be worried?”
Klaus, adopting a more protective tone, looks at you with a raised eyebrow. “Yes, do tell us more about this boy,” he says, though his voice is gentle and teasing.
You laugh, shaking your head at the attention. “It’s nothing serious,” you insist. “Just a guy in my class. His name is Landon. He’s nice.”
Hayley smiles warmly, sensing your slight embarrassment. “Well, as long as he treats you well,” she says, her tone reassuring. “That’s what matters.”
Elijah chimes in with his characteristic calm demeanor. “And if he doesn’t, he’ll have us to answer to,” he adds with a small smile, earning nods of agreement from around the table.
Rebekah winks at you, clearly pleased with herself for bringing up the topic. “Well, you know we’re all here to support you,” she says. “And maybe tease you a little bit.”
Klaus, ever the protective father, leans in with a serious yet loving expression. “If he hurts you, you tell us, little wolf,” he says, his voice firm but gentle. “And we’ll make sure he regrets it.”
You smile, feeling a mix of embarrassment and appreciation. “Thanks, Dad,” you reply, knowing he means every word.
Kol chimes in with a grin. “Oh, we could definitely put the fear of the Mikaelsons into him,” he says, earning a round of laughter from the family.
Hayley rolls her eyes playfully but nods in agreement. “Just remember, we’re here for you,” she adds warmly. “No matter what.”
Rebekah reaches over to squeeze your hand. “We’ve got your back,” she says with a reassuring smile.
Elijah raises his glass, his expression serene. “To family,” he toasts, “and to the bonds that keep us strong.”
The rest of the family raises their glasses in unison, echoing Elijah’s sentiment. “To family,” you guys chorus.
Kol, never missing an opportunity to stir things up, leans back in his chair and looks at Klaus and Hayley with a mischievous glint in his eye. “So, since she likes somebody now,” he begins, his voice dripping with playful intent, “do you think it’s time to give her ‘the talk’?” He winks, clearly enjoying the moment.
Klaus narrows his eyes at Kol, a smirk playing on his lips. “Careful, brother,” he warns lightly, though there’s a hint of amusement in his tone. “I’m not sure you’re the best person to be giving advice.”
Hayley laughs, shaking her head. “I think we’ve got it covered, Kol,” she says, her voice warm and reassuring as she glances at you “But thanks for the suggestion.”
your cheeks flushing, giving Kol a playful glare. “Really, uncle Kol?” you say, rolling your eyes. “As if this day wasn’t already embarrassing enough.”
Rebekah chuckles, joining in the teasing. “Don’t worry, Y/n,” she says with a grin. “We’re all here to help guide you, even if Kol’s advice might be a bit… unconventional.”
Elijah, ever the voice of reason, smiles softly. “We trust you to make good decisions,” he says to you. “But if you ever need to talk about anything, we’re all here for you.”
Kol, ever the provocateur, continues with a teasing smile, “Our brother here didn’t always make the best decisions, no offense, Klaus.” He pauses for dramatic effect, glancing around the table. “Just imagine life without Y/n. Until now, Klaus would have been… well, a bit ruder, and constantly finding reasons to put us in the box.”
Klaus chuckles, shaking his head at Kol’s antics. “Fair point, Kol,” he admits with a wry smile. “But having Y/n has certainly changed things for the better.”
You laugh, feeling the love and camaraderie around you.
Hayley smiles, reaching over to squeeze your hand. “You’ve brought out the best in all of us,” she says warmly. “Especially in your dad.”
Rebekah nods in agreement, her eyes shining with pride. “You’ve brought us closer together, Y/n. And for that, we’re all grateful.”
Elijah looks at you with a gentle smile. “You know, before you came into the world, your father was… different. He was often angry, always seeking control. But you changed him.”
Rebekah chimes in, her voice softening. “He was always ready to fight, to protect what was his, but it often meant pushing us away. Your arrival brought out a side of him we hadn’t seen in centuries.”
Kol adds with a grin, “Yeah, before you, he was always brooding and plotting. You’ve brought a lot of light into his life, into all our lives.”
Klaus, touched by his siblings’ words, looks at you with a mixture of pride and love. “You’ve made me a better man, little wolf. More than I could have ever imagined.”
Elijah raises his glass once more, his voice filled with sincerity. “To Y/n,” he toasts, “for being the light in our lives and bringing us together as a family.”
The family echoes the toast, lifting their glasses high. “To Y/n.”
As the Thanksgiving dinner draws to a close, the Mikaelson family remains seated around the table, basking in the warmth of their shared meal and the love that binds them together. Downstairs in the kitchen, Klaus and Hayley are busy preparing breakfast together. The sound of sizzling bacon and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee fill the air. They chat animatedly as they work, their voices filled with warmth and affection.
Klaus glances over at Hayley with a fond smile. "Did you see the way Y/n laughed last night? She's growing up so fast."
Hayley nods, flipping a pancake with practiced ease. "She really is," she agrees. "But she's still our little girl, no matter how much she thinks she's all grown up."
Meanwhile, in the living room, Elijah sits comfortably with a cup of tea, quietly reading the morning paper. He looks up occasionally, his gaze softening as he listens to the faint sounds of his family's morning routine echoing through the house.
Rebekah and Kol emerge from their rooms a little later than the others, their voices carrying down the hallway as they engage in their usual banter. They join Klaus and Hayley in the kitchen, adding to the lively conversation with their own brand of humor and wit.
Rebekah smirks at Kol. "You know, Kol, you're lucky Y/n inherited some of Klaus' charm and not all of your mischief."
Kol grins back at her. "Yes, well, I like to think I've had a positive influence on her," he quips, earning a chuckle from the others.
As the family gathers around the breakfast table, plates piled high with food, you and your family continue to talk and laugh together. Your family shares stories from the past and plans for the day ahead, enjoying the simple pleasure of being together as a family.

You, your two aunts, and your mother are busy decorating the Christmas tree, your and their laughter echoing through the room as you and them reminisced about past celebrations.
From across the room, Klaus and his brothers, Elijah and Kol, watched with amused smiles. Klaus approached the group, admiring their efforts. “Impressive work as always,” he praised, his tone softened by familial pride.
Rebekah then entered, brandishing a stack of garishly colorful Christmas sweaters. “Guess what I found,” she announced with a mischievous grin. “Ugly Christmas sweaters for all of us!”
Klaus’s expression turned slightly skeptical. “Ugly being the operative word,” he remarked dryly, though a hint of amusement danced in his eyes.
You turned to your dad, your expression pleading. “Come on, Dad,” you urged playfully, your eyes wide with anticipation. “It’ll be fun! For Christmas Eve and Christmas Day?”
Klaus hesitated, looking torn between amusement and reluctance. After a moment, he sighed in mock resignation. “Fine,” he relented, casting a fond glance at you. “I suppose I can endure it for you, my little wolf.”
Kol, leaning casually against the door frame, couldn’t resist chiming in with a theatrically broken-hearted tone. “And here I thought I was your favorite brother,” he teased, feigning hurt feelings.
Klaus rolled his eyes, unable to suppress a chuckle. “Oh, brother,” he retorted, his voice dripping with playful sarcasm, “you know you’re irreplaceable.”
Kol shot Klaus a mock glare before smirking and turning away. “Well played, brother,” he called over his shoulder, disappearing down the hall.
As Kol left, Klaus leaned in closer to you, a mischievous twinkle in his eye. “Don’t tell your uncle that I said this, but I do have a soft spot for my little wolf,” he whispered conspiratorially, his smile genuine.
You beamed up at him, feeling your heart swell with affection for your father. You squeezed his hand affectionately, grateful for your and his special bond amidst the festive chaos of the family home.

You sat beside your father, both wearing matching reindeer-themed sweaters, giggling at the sheer absurdity of their attire.
Kol, ever the instigator, raised his glass of eggnog with a mischievous glint in his eye. "Alright, let's settle this once and for all," he declared theatrically. "Raise your hand if you think Klaus loves Y/n more than he loves the rest of us."
Elijah chuckled softly, shaking his head in amusement as he lifted his hand along with Rebekah and Freya. Hayley joined in with a knowing smile, playfully nudging Klaus. "Looks like the votes are in.” she teased, earning a playful roll of the eyes from Klaus.
You couldn't help but chime in, your tone teasing yet confident. "Of course he loves me the most," you interjected playfully, your eyes sparkling with mischief. "I'm not only your favorite, Dad, but theirs too."
Klaus chuckled warmly, reaching over to tousle your hair affectionately. "Well, it seems my little wolf has spoken," he remarked, his voice tinged with amusement and adoration.

Kol, ever the playful one, raised his glass of eggnog with a mischievous glint in his eye. “Alright, Y/n,” he teased with a grin, “should we leave cookies and milk out for Santa Claus tonight?”
You rolled your eyes playfully, but couldn’t resist joining in on the fun. “Uncle Kol,” you quipped, your voice laced with mock seriousness, “I’m not a child anymore, but who knows,” you added with a sly grin, “you might end up eating them yourself.”
Kol feigned offense, placing a hand dramatically over his heart. “Wow, Y/n,” he exclaimed with mock indignation, “you’re such a bully! I’m definitely telling your dad on you.”
Klaus, overhearing the banter, leaned in with a smirk. “Or else what, brother?” he interjected, his tone lighthearted yet teasing. “You know how Y/n has a way of getting her way around here.”
You grinned mischievously, knowing your father was on your side. “That’s right, Uncle Kol,” you teased, nudging him playfully. “Better watch out or I’ll convince Dad to side with me.”
Kol chuckled, raising his glass in mock surrender. “Alright, alright,” he relented, his eyes twinkling with amusement. “I surrender to the power of the little wolf.”
Amidst the laughter and good-natured teasing, the Mikaelson family continued to enjoy their Christmas Eve together, cherishing the warmth and joy of their playful bond
Elijah, always the voice of reason and warmth, raised his glass gracefully. “Let us toast to Y/n,” he began, his voice carrying a gentle sincerity. “For bringing hope and light into our lives. Before you came into this world, Y/n, we were lost in the darkness. But your presence has shown us the beauty of family and love.”
The rest of the family joined Elijah in raising their glasses, murmuring words of agreement and affection. You looked around at their smiling faces, touched by Elijah’s heartfelt words and the love that surrounded you.
Klaus, his gaze filled with paternal pride, placed a hand on your shoulder. “Indeed,” he added softly, his voice tinged with emotion. “You are our guiding star, Y/n.”
The holiday season had arrived, and the Mikaelson family gathered for a Christmas dinner at the Mikaelson mansion. The grand dining room was adorned with festive decorations, and the scent of pine and cinnamon filled the air. The table was set with a magnificent feast, and the family felt a sense of warmth and togetherness that had been hard-won over the years.
As everyone took their seats, Klaus stood up, raising his glass. "Before we begin, I’d like to say a few words."
The room fell silent, all eyes on Klaus.
"This year has been one of healing and rebuilding for our family. We've faced challenges, but we've come through stronger and more united," Klaus began, his gaze moving to each member of his family. "And none of this would have been possible without the hope that binds us together."
You felt a lump in your throat as your father's words resonated deeply within you.
Klaus continued, "little wolf, you are the hope of the Mikaelsons. You remind us of what it means to be a family, to fight for each other, and to love unconditionally. We are here today because of you."
Your eyes filled with tears as you looked around at your family, each face reflecting pride and love.
Elijah stood up next, his voice steady and filled with emotion. "To hope, and to the future we build together. Always and Forever."
“Always and Forever," the family echoed, raising their glasses in unison.
Rebekah smiled warmly at you. "You are our light, Y/n. You remind us that even in the darkest times, there is always hope."
Kol nodded in agreement. "To family, and to the bonds that can never be broken."
Freya added, "To the strength we find in each other, and the love that keeps us going."
Hayley, her eyes shining with tears, raised her glass. "To our daughter, Y/n, and to the family that stands together through it all. Always and Forever."
You, overwhelmed with emotion, stood up and lifted your glass. "To my family. Thank you for never giving up on me, and for showing me the true meaning of Always and Forever. I love you all."
As the family clinked their glasses together, a sense of peace and joy filled the room. You guys knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, you and then would face them together, bound by the unbreakable bonds of family and the enduring hope that you represented.
The rest of the evening was filled with laughter, stories, and the warmth of being surrounded by loved ones. The Mikaelsons had come a long way, and as you and them celebrated Christmas together, you guys knew that your and their future was bright.
After a delightful Christmas dinner filled with laughter and camaraderie, your family and you gathered around the towering Christmas tree in the grand hall of their manor. The room was adorned with twinkling lights and colorful ornaments, casting a warm glow over the scene. Each family member had a stack of beautifully wrapped presents waiting to be opened.
your eyes sparkling with excitement, handed out the presents with glee. "Okay, everyone," you announced cheerfully, "let's see what surprises await us!"
Rebekah eagerly tore into a box adorned with a silver bow, revealing a delicate necklace from Freya. “Oh, sister, it’s stunning!” she exclaimed, embracing her sister warmly.
Freya smiled warmly. “I’m glad you like it,” she replied softly, her eyes gleaming with sisterly affection.
Across the room, Kol unwrapped a package to find a set of antique books from Elijah, his eyes widening in genuine surprise. “Brother, these are incredible,” he murmured gratefully, a rare sentiment of appreciation crossing his usually playful demeanor.
Elijah smiled graciously. “I thought you might appreciate something from our family’s history,” he explained, his voice tinged with warmth.
Hayley received a beautifully crafted bracelet from Klaus, tears glistening in her eyes as she admired the thoughtful gift. “Thank you, Klaus,” she whispered, touched by his gesture.
Klaus nodded, a rare softness in his expression. “You deserve the world, Hayley,”
Rebekah grinned mischievously as you unwrapped the gift from her, revealing a sparkling tiara that once adorned Rebekah's own head during childhood dress-up games. "I thought you might enjoy this," Rebekah explained, her voice tinged with nostalgia. "It's been through a lot of pretend adventures."
You beamed, carefully placing the tiara on your head. "Thank you, Aunt Bex," you replied warmly, feeling a special connection to your aunt through the sentimental gift.
Freya's gift was next, a beautifully bound spell book filled with ancient and modern incantations. "I know you have a knack for magic," Freya said with a gentle smile, "so I thought you might appreciate this."
You flipped through the pages, your eyes widening with wonder at the powerful spells detailed within. "This is incredible, Aunt Freya," you murmured gratefully, already eager to delve into its secrets.
Elijah's gift came next, a small box that contained a set of car keys. You blinked in surprise, looking up at your uncle Elijah in disbelief. "A car?" You asked, your voice filled with excitement.
Elijah chuckled softly. "Not just any car," he clarified with a warm smile, "but a reliable one for when you're older and need your independence."
You hugged Elijah tightly, overwhelmed by his thoughtfulness. "Thank you, Uncle Elijah," you said sincerely, already imagining the adventures you would have with your future car.
Kol's gift elicited laughter from the family as you unwrapped a book titled "How Not to Be Klaus Mikaelson." Kol grinned mischievously. "Consider it your guide to navigating the Mikaelson family dynamics," he explained, his eyes twinkling with humor.
You giggled, flipping through the pages to find amusing illustrations and witty anecdotes. "This is perfect, Uncle Kol," you replied, already planning to put the book to good use.
Hayley’s gift touched you deeply as you unwrapped a delicate ring with a small, intricate design. "This belonged to my mother," she explained softly, her voice filled with emotion. "I thought you should have something that connects you to your heritage."
You amired the ring, feeling a sense of Loveness and history as you slipped it onto your finger. "Thank you, Mom," you whispered gratefully, touched by the significance of the gift.
Lastly, Klaus presented you with a set of paint brushes, tubes of paint, and a sturdy paint board. "For your artistic endeavors little wolf," he said with a proud smile, his eyes reflecting paternal pride. "I can't wait to see what you create."
You hugged your dad tightly, feeling a rush of love and gratitude. "Thank you, Dad," you said softly, your heart full with affection for your father and your family.
As the Mikaelson family exchanged gifts, laughter and love filled the room, each present a testament to their deep bond and the joy of being together during the holiday season.
the Mikaelson family gathered around their beautifully adorned Christmas tree. You stood proudly in the center with your father and your mother on either side of you, while your aunts and uncle lined up beside your parents and you, all wearing the festive Christmas sweaters.
“Alright, everyone,” Klaus announced warmly, setting up the camera on a tripod. “Let’s take a family picture!”
The family gathered closer, playfully teasing each other as you guys prepared for the photo. Klaus adjusted the camera settings, ensuring everything was ready for the automatic shot.
“Okay,” you exclaimed eagerly, glancing at the camera’s timer. “It’s about to take the picture. Get ready!”
You all grinned and got into position. “Three, two, one…”
The camera clicked, capturing the moment perfectly as everyone smiled and posed together. Laughter filled the room as you and then held each other’s poses for the automatic family portrait.
Klaus walked over to the camera, his expression soft with affection as he examined the photo. “Thank you for bringing us hope, little wolf,” he said warmly, his voice carrying gratitude and love.
Hayley hugged you tightly, her eyes shining with pride. “You’re the light of our family,” she said lovingly, her voice filled with warmth.
Rebekah tousled your hair gently. “You brighten our lives, sweetheart,” she added with a warm smile.
Freya nodded in agreement. “You remind us of the joy in our hearts,” she remarked softly.
Elijah, always composed, smiled warmly at you. “Your presence is a blessing,” he said sincerely, his voice filled with admiration.
Kol, ever the joker, grinned mischievously. “We wouldn’t be the same without you,” he teased, earning a playful shove from Elijah.
The end
A/N: I want to extend a heartfelt thank you for diving into my series, your support has meant so much to me! Writing this story was a joy, and while it’s bittersweet to see it end, I hope you loved reading it as much as I loved writing it. there were two endings, but I chose the one that felt right for Y/N and her family. After everything they've been through, they truly deserved a happy ending. rather than that thank you once again.

*・῾ ⁺ Welcome to My Bridgerton Life 🌺 .*
📚 ˗ˏˋ DESCRIPTION .ᐟ
Dearest Gentle Reader, As the new social season makes haste in its arrival, the ton is abuzz with fresh new debutantes sprouting along the marriage mart. Yet, amidst the collection of glimmering rare jewels, one young woman outshines them all. Lady Angelica Sinclair—the only daughter to the Earl and Countess of Ashbourne—has made her grand entrance into society, and is already drawing the eyes of many eligible gentlemen. Whether Miss Sinclair will secure a match worthy of her esteemed lineage or chart a more unconventional course remains to be seen. But rest assured, dear reader, as she navigates the treacherous claws of high society, all eyes will be upon her. I'm literally SOOO in love with this reality. I scripted out a lot of discrimination and such, so this is exclusively a reality where I get to dress up and have messy relationship drama🤭. I also don't have a S/O for this one, so we'll see who I end up with, if anyone

📜 ˗ˏˋ PARENTS .ᐟ
My parents are Valerie and Manuel Sinclair, or as society calls them, the Earl and Countess of Ashbourne. They're basically like the Gomez and Morticia Addams of 19th century London🤭. My mom is where I get most of my personality from; she's incredibly free-spirited and intelligent but also very sophisticated. My dad is far more easygoing and is where I got my passion for art from. He's mainly there to offer endless support for his wife and daughter🛐. My family lineage is one of the most well-known and affluent family lines in London, because I'm the main character actually <333
🐝 ˗ˏˋ RELATIONSHIPS .ᐟ
My family and the Bridgertons have been friends for years, so I have a specific relationship with all the siblings, but for brevity's sake, I'll only list out the important ones and my connections with non-Bridgertons!! GREGORY: Me and him are the same age in this reality, so we've been friends ever since birth. He's so much fun to hang out with. He loves to make me laugh (especially in serious situations), so we're always joking around. I LOVE GREG HE'S GREAT KATE: SCREAMING CRYING I LOVE KATE SO MUCH😭. She's the big sister I never had. We just connect so well, with both of us being very independent and witty. She also offers REALLY good advice BENEDICT: I grew up with two parents who held really high value in art, so it's a no-brainer that me and Benedict connect over that. He's the most unserious person I know asides from Gregory; he's really playful and I love him for it PENELOPE: Pen is a really sweet girl with a big personality. We used to clash heads a lot because of her attitude (not to mention the whole Lady Whistledown incident💀), but after her and Colin settled down, she matured significantly, and our little squabbles died down. We talk the most about literature and poetry, she's very skilled when it comes to writing
⌛ ˗ˏˋ OUTRO .ᐟ
I'M SO EXCITED TO SHIFT HERE HUHYGTFRG. I'm really looking forward to all the balls and elegant dresses I'll get to wear. NOT TO MENTION THE RELATIONSHIP DRAMA?? I'm gonna turn this whole reality into a soap opera. As always, feel free to send in asks about this reality!! <33

Some people have this weird fixation about making Klaus choose Caroline over Hope, especially in fanfics. I’ve seen fics where Klaus abandons Hope, or kills Hayley for disrespecting Caroline, or just ignores Hope in favor of Caroline. Like some people forget Hope’s his daughter - of course, he’s going to choose her over everyone. I think any decent parent would choose their child over a potential girlfriend/boyfriend. And Hayley is Hope’s mom, a very important person in her life. I don’t think Klaus would kill Hayley unless she posed a threat to Hope or if she tried to take Hope away from him. Honestly, I don’t think he would even tolerate people openly disrespecting Hayley in front of Hope, regardless of who it was.
Another thing that I’ve noticed is how people are so determined to make Klaus a father figure to the twins, particularly Lizzie. I’ve read a fic in which Klaus clearly and openly favored Lizzie over his own daughter - which would never happen. I think that if Klaus and Caroline actually did end up together, he still wouldn’t be that present in the twins lives. Since he is overprotective to the extreme, I think that he would hold some resentment over how the twins treated Hope in their younger years. He’s petty enough to hold a grudge against a kid. And anyway, I don’t ever see Alaric allowing Lizzie or Josie to get close to Klaus, no matter what Caroline says.
I don’t know… it’s just weird that people keep diminishing Hope’s relationship with her own father to benefit their ship. Sorry for the rambling.
People fail to remember that Klaus is his own person and not an extension of the ships they like, and that ship half of the time is klaroline because they are obssesed with making him her personal puppy, as if that ever happened in canon.
Granted, Klaus said a few nice things to her and did like two good things to make Caroline not feel so guilty about wanting to fuck him, but other than that there's no way he would ever seriously chose her over his family, especially his own daughter. He chose to save her over Rebekah back in Mystic Falls because his sister is immortal, Caroline isn't.
I've never actually read long klaroline/klamille/klayley fanfiction. Sure, I use to read some oneshots from time to time because they have really good writing, but this fanfics I'll talk about best used to show up while I was in the klaus or mikaelson tag and I used to take a look because I was curious. It has some wild elements, that's for sure.
I've seen a lot of fanfics where they make Caroline some weird ass hybrid/tribrid that manages to be a werewolf, witch and vampire all in one and it's like wtf. They complain constantly about Hope's existence because she breaks canon and yet they make this baby vampire the biggest Mary Sue ever. Yes, the producers created Hope because they wanted to create their own magical baby like Renaissance from Twilight, but they make a fool of themselves by making Caroline be anything but a vampire. Caroline was incredibly mean and a complete hypocrite as a human and don't bring me the "she was insecure and always in Elena's shadow" because I'm insecure too and that doesn't make me be a bitch to the people who love me. Klaus was always threatening her whenever she spoke in a way he didn't like, and that was when she was already the "sunshine vampire" people claim to love so badly, so people who think he would even let her live if he met her as a human are laughable.
Klaroline shippers are so pressed about Hayley being Hope's mother, I can't even tell you how many posts, videos and weird fanfics I've seen of Caroline being her mother and being the "Mikaelson's light". I've said it a lot of times, but the Mikaelson wouldn't like Caroline at all: Rebekah and Hayley were constantly slutshamed by her, Elijah hates people who insult/hurt his family, Kol was literally killed by one of her best friends and he would not be okay with that, Finn couldn't care less and Freya probably just heard bad things from her, if she even knew about her existence. And in top of that, Caroline literally threw a party when she thought Klaus died.
When they have any Mikaelson or Klaus, especially Klaus, kill Hayley, I just lose it. Why the hell would Klaus ever do that? He literally lost his mind when she died, he was a mess and they don't even want to admit he loved Hayley: new flash, he did. She was his family, the mother of his daughter, probably his best and only friend and he loved her. Not in a romantic way, but they still get pressed because how dare Klaus have feelings for anyone other than their queen Caroline.
Also, their obsession with making Caroline be called queen? It's creepy and weird, it must be really annoying for them that Klaus only called Cami and Hayley a queen. Those two girls were a thousand times closer to be considered family by him than Caroline ever could, and his siblings did care for those women too.
This reminds me of a really good point in klaroline fics: if Caroline is the one pregnant with Hope, Klaus will react a lot better. I just can't see this, Klaus’s daddy issues are literally the main point of his character. He hated Mikael as much as he desired his love, he always yearned for one of his parents to care and no one did: Mikael, because he was a piece of shit, Esther, because she was terrified of her husband and there's literally no other reason in canon that explains why she allowed Mikael's abuse and Ansel, because he was forced to stay away and was killed twice. That isn't gonna change just because he got Caroline, sorry to tell you.
I can see him reacting less murderer and less threatening. Alkaline covers this so well and it's one of my favorite Klaus fanfics, if he has a romantic relationship with the woman he got pregnant he wouldn't tell the witches to kill her and their baby, but I do think he would still think at first she cheated, not only because of his paranoia but also because he is supposedly incapable of having kids.
The whole Lizzie and Josie thing is really a good point! I agree, Klaus would never favor the twins over Hope or even Marcel. Those are his kids, he raised them and he never met Josie and Lizzie until they were like what, twelve? Thirteen? He even said people needed to ask him permission to even talk to Hope, he would 100% hold a grudge against the Saltzman twins for being mean to his daughter. I also think that the whole "Klaus would like Lizzie more than Josie" is because physically and in terms of personality, Lizzie is the one that resembles Caroline the most. So when writers have him openly prefer Lizzie isn't only weird, it has some uncomfortable pedophilic vibes.
I've only seen klaroline and some klayley shippers say that about klope, how he would love x girl more than Hope and etc. I hardly doubt they even remember canon Klaus, just their fanfic version because if Klaus ever had to chose he would always chose his daughter. I've also seen, in a lot of fanfics, not only klaroline ones, how Klaus would love more or completely ignore his oc kid (they also have Hope he a complete bitch from the start, even if it's her seven years old version) and it's just strange. There are a lot of reasons why Klaus and Marcel didn't have a stable relationship, mainly all the bad blood between them and the fact that Marcel was already grown up by the time they met, but he never hesitated to put himself in danger for him. Klaus even refused to kill him, knowing he was endangering Hope. I just can't see him ignoring his kid, especially if he got to actually see him/her grow up.
This is not bashing to the writers btw! Sorry if it came out like that.

hi yokan <33 I hope everything is going well !!
I wanted to ask you two things:
1. I know you get asked this a lot, but is there any chance we will get an update this weekend or the next? 🙏🏻🙏🏻 (I'm asking specifically about the weekend because, from what I remember, those are the days you usually update, but you know, I wouldn't be opposed to a surprise👀)
2. this is more a "personal" question. So, I noticed a few times that Klamille fans bring up the fact that "Klaus called Camille his soulmate." I usually try to engage as little as I can with anything related to that ship (I'll never understand people who do the opposite. Don't like? Keep scrolling.) but I was genuinely getting curious, so i decided to look up the scene... Now, I'm not usually one that does a lot of slander on ship/characters I don't like, not publicly at least, but GOD, How the hell did the Klamille fans managed to came up with the whole soulmate thing?😭 having a "deep connetion" ≠ soulmates. He had a deep connection with Elijah, Rebekah, CAROLINE, Marcel, and even Hayley. he used to have one with aurora, too. Now, Camille is literally a therapist, IT'S PART OF HER JOB TO ESTABLISH A CONNECTION WITH HER PATIENTS. so, really, maybe I'm biased, but I can't see the soulmate thing even under a magnifying glass. Anyways, all of that just to ask you, what's your take? I'm pretty sure you will agree with me, but I just saw that specific scene that everyone keeps referring to whilst you watched the whole show multiple times, so ofc you have a bigger view of the whole thing.
love u tons. I can't wait to read the next chap <3 xoxo
Hi, friend! :) How's it going?
For the first question, there won't be an update this week. There's a small chance for next week, but it really depends on how much time I get to write and edit, which is unclear. But I'm almost finished with the chapter. There's a key scene I'm getting a little stuck on, but the final three ones should be more straightforward because they're less character-centered and more plotty, those are usually easier to get through for me.
As for the second, I was very confused for a moment because when did Klaus ever say Cami was his soulmate... 😂 I think you mean the scene where he tells Hayley that the person he shared a connection with is dead? That seems like a bit of a reach for me lol Doesn't he talk about his connection to Caroline as well in 5x11? By those standards, he has two soulmates? And I'm sure he said similar stuff about Aurora, he calls her a kindred soul or something, which is a lot closer to saying someone is your soulmate than saying you share a connection. Either way, to me it really seems like a bit of a stretch lol But I guess Klamille fans were given crumbles really, their ship was very badly treated and kind of lived in the shadow of another ship, so they do what they can with what they're given. IMO, Klaus saying to someone that he intends to be their last love and will wait for them for as long as it takes, considering he's immortal, is a lot more meaningful, but that's just me 😂 I'd never tell someone that they are wrong though, it's their right to interpret the shows whichever way they want and people are always going to be biased about these things. Ship and let ship!

So, I know you're a Haylijah shipper, but what you have thought if the show had ever decided to explore Elijah and Cami as a couple? I think that would've been very intriguing and compelling to see. They were among one of my crack ships when I was into TVD/TO. Definitely would've been an interesting dynamic to see play out.
I've gotten to asks about this so I'm going to answer them both here.
I've seen people ship Cami and Elijah, but I'll be honest I haven't given them much thought. I'm all about being a multi-shipper. I love most Elijah ships, even the crack ones. Before considering this, I had always thought Marcel and Cami were my third favorite Cami ship (haymille being the second of course). But I might have to reconsider. I think Cami and Elijah would have been interesting together and I wish we could have seen them interact more. I would definitely have gotten behind this ship. I just love them both so much.
They have a lot of similarities. They both feel responsible for their families and have a lot of guilt for their perceived failures. They both attempt to fall back on logic rather than emotions, although Cami is definitely more emotional mature than our poor, stunted Elijah.
They would have long, intellectual conversations and would challenge each other. Cami would encourage Elijah to go back to school and actually do something with his life and Elijah would encourage Cami to enjoy aspects of life outside of work and school.
The only time we ever see Elijah really open up is with Cami. I wish we could have seen more of Cami being vulnerable with him. We know it happened to an extent as Elijah later tells her he was in her head just as much as she was in his. I wish she would have talked about her brother and uncle or even the trauma she went through of Klaus' compulsion. They both know how it feels to be used by Klaus and lose those they love.
I was trying to think of a downside to this ship and my initial instinct was that they both are too reasonable and need a partner to be a little more combative to deal with them. But then I remembered Cami is that person. I think the reason Haylijah works so well together is because Elijah tempers Hayley's impulses and Hayley is stubborn and aggressive enough to pull Elijah out of his head. Cami is also that person. Hell, she had a harder challenge of doing that with Klaus. At least with Elijah, he's slightly more reasonable than Klaus.
I adore their friendship but I think they would be a solid ship had the show given them a chance.
Thanks for the ask!

Chapter 6: Bloodletting
There were about forty vampires in the courtyard at the compound of Marcel Gerad of squaring up to fight to get a chance to get a special ring. “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Fight Night! And, the first rule of Fight Night is: the vampire left standing at the end of the night is one step closer to the inner circle, and one of these--[He holds up the hand on which he wears his ring]-- a daylight ring. If you can impress me with a little ultra-violence, you too can enjoy the warmth of the sun on your face. All you got to do is kick a little ass. Here we go!”
A woman and man step up. Of course, the women won victoriously. But not a moment later her neck was snapped by Klaus. Elijah and Hayley in tow. "Good evening! I'd like a word.” “What do you think you're doing?” Marcel was pissed that Klaus was once again stepping on his throne. “It appears that we've interrupted a collection of filthy amateurs! We've come here for the girl. Give her to us, or we kill everyone here... starting with you.” Elijah was always so methodical with his words.
“You two got a lot of nerve, coming into my home and making demands. And who is she?” He pointed out Hayley. “I'm about to kick your-” She tried to walk forward but was pulled back by Elijah. “Your home, is it?” Klaus has a sarcastic smile. “The girl! I will not ask again.” “I assume you're talking about Y/n? Yea high, H/c, sweet attitude? Who is she, anyway?”
“She's an old friend. You know how sentimental I am about old friends.” “Well, I ain't got her. And before you start whining, I did pay her a little visit earlier tonight. I was feeling nostalgic, so I took a trip out to the plantation where I used to be a slave. And, imagine my surprise when I realized that the Original family of vampires had taken up residence. Your girl, Y/n, answered the door, we exchanged hellos, and that was it. You don't believe me? Look around. Hell, I'll even help you find her. But the question that I'd ask is: if Y/n isn't here, then where is she?”
POV: (Y/N)
I wake up and all I smell is dirty socks and all I see is the back of SUV window. I kick up at the window in some hope to somehow knock it out and climb out. The driver pulls over and gets out and opens the back. I kick him and he blocks me. “Seriously?” “Tyler?” I had not seen him for over like six months at this point. “You don't wanna fight me, Y/n. You know you can't beat a hybrid.” He zip-locks my ankles and picks me up. “AHHH! Let me go you asshole!” “Shut up!”
Tyler had brought me to the backwaters of the bayou of this small shack next to the water. It would be prettier if I wasn't currently being held against my will. “Tyler why the Hell am I here?” He doesn’t answer, instead he brings out a pocketknife. “Ok, geese! I won't ask again.” He then cuts my ankle zip locks. “This is just in case.” He held the knife up, the gall of him. “Hey, aren't you the one you knocked me out in my backyard!?” “It's not your backyard, it's Klaus'! You're shacked up in that mansion with that psycho. A long way from the sweet girl I've met in the Appalachians, helping other werewolves.”
“Tyler, I am still the same girl, just a couple of things have changed.” “You mean that you're pregnant? A hybrid baby, yeah, I know all about it. I've been roaming around the Bayou, asking questions. Let me tell you what I learned! [He pulled down my sweater sleeve to show my birthmark on my shoulder] This crescent birthmark means you come from a big-shot family. Some kind of royalty for the werewolves of this region. And right here-- [He gestured around him]-- this is all that's left of them.”
I look around and see tents that are barely being held together by worn-down rope. “My family is out here?” At that moment I see a blond woman hiding by the trees. “HEY HELP!” I held my arms up. She ran away as soon as I did. “They can't help you! They're in the woods, hiding, because they were persecuted for decades by vampires.” Of course, those poor people, this man walks up. “Is that her?” “Excuse me!?” “Yeah, Dwayne. Get her inside.” Dwayne comes and picks me up like I was a bag of air. He must be a werewolf too or he hits the gym every day. “Tyler? Tyler!”
Back at the compound, Sabine was doing a locator spell to find Y/n while Hayley, Elijah, and Klaus were crowding around. “She's in the backcountry. Way up past Houma, deep in the Bayou.” “Bayou?” Hayley questioned. “There are stories of exiled werewolves, encampments. If Y/n went out that far, chances are she went to find them.” “Clearly, she hopes to make the acquaintance of more like herself. I suppose our company wasn't good enough for her.” Klaus quipped. “No, Y/n is not like that. She would at least tell me, if she's there she's not there by choice.” Klaus looks at Hayley with the slightest bit of worry.
The three of them had traveled to the Bayou. “We should head south towards the water.” Elijah pointed out. “You seem quite determined to find the littlest wolf.” Klaus commented. Hayley was just trying to sense her sister. “If I'm moving too fast for you, Niklaus, you're welcome to wait in the car. Do be certain to leave the windows down.” “ Ah, so I've touched a nerve? You've begun to admire her sister. Perhaps that's why you've been barking orders since your return, hoping to impress Hayley by assuming the role of family patriarch.” she had walked enough away that she couldn't hear them.
“If you're going to insist on treating her like a walking incubator, then that's your mistake.” “I do not see her as a-” Klaus stopped. “Have you found her scent?” They walk over to the SUV so does Hayley. “No, but I found someone else's. This vehicle reeks of someone I thought I was rid of... Tyler Lockwood.” “Tyler? why the Hell would he care to kidnap Y/n.” Hayley said. “He wants revenge because I went after his girl.” “Really over a high school girlfriend?” “Why do I suspect this is the least of your offenses?” “Well, there was this business with his mum…”
“Great so my sister is going to die now because of you! She’s here because of you!” “He needed to be taught a lesson!” “And what lesson will you be taught, Niklaus, if he retaliates by harming Y/n?” “So, you do care about her. Well, go on, then. Have at it, brother. Save her. Claim what spoils you can. I've sampled what she has to offer and let me tell you, she is exquisite–” Hayley slapped Klaus. “Don't you ever talk about her like that again!” She goes to keep searching but stops. “Oh, and Klaus if she is hurt or worse I will find some way to kill you.” With that, she walks, and Elijah follows.
POV (Y/n)
I am brought into the shack and zip-tied to some type of iron oven aka not easy to pick up. Might as well ask. “Tyler, there's been two wolves watching Hayley and me lately. Protecting us, like they instinctively know that we are part of their pack. You're a hybrid, you can turn into a wolf whenever you want... Was one of them you?” He shakes his head no. “No, but you're right-- only hybrids can control when they change. And I'm the only one left, besides Klaus. Which is why we're here.” “Whatever you think you're doing, you know that whole Original family has made some sort of pact, or something, to keep me and the baby safe. So, if you hurt me, they'll kill you. Believe it or not I don't want to see you die Tyler.”
“Of course, the nice, sweet Y/n wouldn't want that but then again you conspired to help kill twelve hybrids. How did you even trigger your curse if you do not believe in killing huh? I'm generally curious.” He got close and up in my face. “An accident the same as you.” I looked to the side. “I don't believe you but that's not why we are here, Dwayne? You ready for this?” Dwayne looked really hopped on whatever he was about to do.
“Let's do it.” Tyler goes to dig out a large syringe. “What are you doing?” I asked with fear flooding my body. Dwayne holds me down. “Tyler, please. NO! Tyler!” “Klaus destroyed everything good in my life! So, I'm gonna take away the thing he wants most!” He jammed it into my stomach. “AHH!” I breathed heavily. As I see it leave my body it’s filled with my baby’s blood. Tyler goes and injects it in Dwayne and then snaps his neck.
I just stare at the dead body now. “Don't get all judgy! Dwayne knew what he was getting into. He volunteered!” “To get killed!? How in the hell does make any sense?” “Dwayne is a werewolf who died with your blood in his system. The same blood you share with your hybrid baby.” I furred my eyebrows in confusion. “You're trying to turn him into a hybrid? That's impossible!” “I've been running with wolf packs all over the country. One of them was tight with a witch. She had nightmare visions about your baby and how Klaus could use its blood to make an army of hybrid slaves.” I breathed deeply in to control my anger.
“That’s enough from everyone! I don't care what anyone says about my baby it’s just that, my kid and if you keep on making threats on it, Klaus will be the last person to worry about.” “That’s cute and all but that's where Dwayne comes in. You see, he was happy to be the test case. If you haven't noticed, these people don't have much to live for. They'd all welcome the chance to become the superior species. Trouble is, all hybrids are sired to Klaus. They follow his every move. [He grabs a knife from his bag and sets it on the table] No way I let that happen.”
“How can you be so sure Klaus knows what the baby's blood will do?” “What do you think? Klaus Mikaelson, killer of men, women, and puppies, all of a sudden wants to be a daddy? Or, he's got an ulterior motive. Hybrids can walk in the sun. Their bite is lethal to vampires. They'll take over New Orleans by the end of the week. And you know what's going to stop Klaus then? Nothing.” Could it be true all this time? Suddenly Dwanye wakes up breathing a lot.
"You're gonna have to feed on her.” Dwayne walks over to me. “What? No! Ahhhhh!” He bites in my neck and it hurts like all Hell. He freaks out and runs out and Tyler goes after him. In the freak out he broke a chair I’m able to reach and grab a broken sharp leg. Tyler walks back in.“It worked, didn't it? He's a hybrid.” “If Klaus gets a hold of you, if he gets that kid? He wins.” He picks up the knife. “Maybe we can run if those are his attentions.” “He'll find you, he'll take your kid away, and he'll make more hybrid monsters. Slaves who do everything he says.” “Please murder is not the answer, Tyler You're not like this.”
He walks closer and I stab him in the leg with the wood. “That was stupid!” He starts again but Dwayne walks in. “Get away from her!” “What do you care?” “I said get away!” “You got what you wanted, now get lost!” “Dwayne, he's gonna kill me! And he's gonna kill you, too! He said that hybrids are too dangerous to live! You need to stop him!” Dwane attacks Tyler and I'm able to grab the knife and cut my binds and I run like never before.
I ran behind a tree hearing footsteps get closer and I jumped out and slide kicked him to the ground and pounced and almost daggered him until I realized it was Elijah. “Elijah I am so sorry! I thought-” I helped him stand up. "You thought I was Tyler, and here I thought you were in danger. It appears I was mistaken.” “Y/N!? Y/N!” It was Hayley. “Over here!” She runs over straight into my arms. “Oh thank God are you ok!? The baby!?” “Yes both of us are fine, a little sweat and a couple of scratches. Nothing I can't live through.” “Let's go!” She tugs on my arm. “Wait guys there's something you need to know about the baby.”
“Klaus must have known, that's the only explanation! He could care less about the baby. He just wants her to be born so he can use her to make more sired hybrids.” Hayley was pissed from what I told them and I don't blame her. “Look, we don't know if Klaus knew.” “Oh like Hell he didn't, he's Klaus !” “We can talk about this later after I take you two home.” Elijah of course is trying to break the tension. “Are you serious? Home to what?” Hayley replied back in her snappy sarcasm.
“Look, regardless of my brother's intentions, mine remain the same. I said that I would protect you and your sister, even, if need be, from Klaus himself.” “Guy’s let’s talk about this.” “What’s there to talk about Y/n! And Elijah I can take care of myself. I've done it for a long time.” She walks away. And I am left to question just about everything at this point but especially Klaus.
We had walked back to the shack where Klaus was standing. He had blood on his shirt in the middle. He saw me and looked like he wanted to run to me, but he didn’t. Instead, he looked between Elijah and I and started to think things that weren't true. “There you are! I see you've found our wandering stray. Perhaps you could shed some light on the situation. This-- [kicks the body over] -- appears to be a hybrid.” He pointed to me wondering why there was even a hybrid in the first place. “His name was Dwayne.” I answered kind of hesitating because I knew the bomb that was about to explode.
“Well, whoever it was, I didn't sire him. Any idea how that's possible?” Hayley gets pissed and jumps up to defend me. “[ She stomps toward him] As if you didn't know!” “Hayley please!” I pleaded to her. Elijah looked to me to make sure I was ok. And Klaus saw. “Ahhh, well, aren't you two fast friends? Oh, come on, then. What kind of horrible accusation have you conspired to levy against me?” Here comes the boom. “Guys let’s talk-” Elijah started to talk.
“Tyler Lockwood brought Y/n here to test a theory. [Klaus nods at him to continue] That the blood of her child could be used to sire hybrids. He claims that you knew that. Furthermore, that you intended to use this knowledge to build an army.” Klaus looked hurt and with that I knew that he did not know about the blood I knew because I've had the same look before. “And, of course, you assume it's true. I mean, why else would I show interest in my own flesh and blood? A heartbroken little crybaby points his finger at me, and my own brother falls in line, eager to believe it! How quickly you believe the worst, especially when it comes from her.” Klaus pointed at Hayley.
“Oh, spare me your indignation. When have you ever demonstrated any kind of concern towards Y/n or her child and sister, beyond your own selfish pursuits? And what was it you once said to me? [He impersonates Klaus] "Every king needs an heir!"” “My big brother. So, you doubt my intentions? Well, I can't say I'm surprised, standing next to the noble Elijah, how can I be anything but the lesser brother? A liar, a manipulator, a bastard.” My heart broke. “Klaus wait please-” I tried to soften this conversation after that because I knew how much pain that phrase brought to Klaus even more when he said it himself.
“And you, of course you agree with them I mean why would the big bad wolf be interested in his own blood. [He got closer to me] I knew you never would want to have a child with me.” “Brother, if–” Elijah was hurt too. “interrupts] You've said all that needs to be said, brother. [He steps back a few steps and holds his arms out in defeat] I'll play the role I've been given.” He speeds towards Elijah and bites him with his venom. Hayley and I are both shocked.
“You three enjoy each other's company. You'll have much to bond over, once the hallucinations and dementia set in. Consider that bite to be my parting gift to the three of you.” Before I even have a chance to say his name he speeds away. Hayley and I turn to Elijah to get him to the shack.
About an hour later Elijah was on the old cot and Hayley and I were looking through old photos to see if we could find any hint towards our family. Elijah gets up to help us look. “You don't have to help us. We can dig through the werewolf antique show on our own. Besides-- [She looks at his neck wound] -- shouldn't you put some kind of ointment or something on that?” Hayley said to him concerned. “The bite won't kill me. Like Niklaus himself, it's more of a nuisance than anything.” I didn’t say anything, but I got mad at that moment. So before I got more mad, I went outside to get air. The pregnancy definitely did not help being hot.
Going outside I looked around and I finally had a chance to fully appreciate the beauty of everything like the Bayou water with the sun reflecting off of it. And the crickets making their own song. The fresh smell of no smog and instead weed flowers having a sweet nectar hanging in the air. Sometimes being a werewolf has its upsides. I couldn't wait to share this with our daughter. When I walked a little more on the deck my feet kicked into something it was big bible. I picked it up and flipped through it.
“Hayley, get out here!” Both of them came out. “What is it?” I held it and flipped through to the page that was saved. “A Bible, with a family history that goes back generations.” “What are these names? Who is Andrea and Elizabeth?” Elijah asked. “I think we are... those are the days that we were born.” I said realizing that my family just got a whole lot more intriguing.
Hey yawl! Hope you enjoyed the story! Sorry it's been a while since I've updated. I wanted to finish my Castiel x reader which the first season is now finished if you want to you can read that. So hopefully I can focus more on these chapters because I love this story so much. This chapter really stirred the pot between Klaus and reader, so I love that. I also hoped that I showed that Y/n could hold her own. I might skip next episode's plot and move on to the next one depends. So look out for the next one! XOXO Gossip girl ;) ;)

Commissions
Hello everyone! I know it has been a while, but I hope you are all well.
I’m happy to be here with everyone, but I have an ulterior motive (and I apologize for this being my comeback post). Recently, there was a fire in my sister’s neighborhood and it spread to her house.
Why is this important?
Due to the fire spreading, my sister’s house took a lot of damage. With damage comes (expensive!!) costs to repair the building and replace furniture. Fortunately, no one was in the house at the time of the fire and my sister is safe.
To help my sister out, I am opening commissions where all profits go to her. As long as the rules are followed, I will be writing something personal for you! Down below, my rules, what I refuse to write, fandoms I write for, what I will write, and costs.
Here is the link to our Cash App for all purchases or donations. - Pay $LittleButterflyWrites
Note: Anyone who has made a request before the date of me posting this (07/02/2024) will get their requests free of charge as originally intended before my unannounced hiatus.
This is available until July 30th, (07/30/2024), so please act fast since I'm not sure if I'll open them again! Read more if you're interested!
Rules *read and approved by my sister
I have the right to refuse any request. Respect my final decision and read what I will not write for before making a request.
Refunds will only be available 24 hours after you place the order. If you do not tell/ask for a refund within 24 hours of your transaction, I will write what you requested and you will NOT get your money back.
Before making a request, please consult with me about what you want for your writing. See below on how to request. This makes things easier in case I am unable to fulfill/accept a request, AND it prevents you, the buyer, from spending money before you get an answer.
If you want any changes to the details, let me know within 24 hours of talking to me.
If you request for a character letter, you will have to give PROOF OF PERMISSION by an adult if you are a minor. You will also have to be comfortable with giving me your address.
If I find that you request anything NSFW as a minor, you will be BLOCKED AND REPORTED. I will reject your request and you will get your money back.
What Do You Refuse To Write?
Dub/non-con
Incest
Hate towards another group of people (race, orientation, gender, etc.)
Beastiality/Zoophilia
Pedophilia
I will NOT write NSFW for certain characters. Said characters will be in a bracketed list after their name. (example: [Character] = no NSFW). The NSFW list of characters will always be BEFORE the NO NSFW character list.
Anything I am not comfortable writing. Again, I reserve the right to refuse any request. If you are unsure and need clarification, please message me with questions.
