Ghost seems like a delayed grief kind of guy.

He copes with Soap’s death a little too well. He’s sad, sort of, but more hollow than anything, and he’s calm when they go through Soap’s things. He keeps Soap’s journal and dog tags and tucks them in a box that he won’t think about but keeps safe nonetheless.

Ghost goes back to work. He goes on ops, albeit less talkative without someone to prompt him with jokes and banter, but he gets things done like he’s supposed to. Price tries to talk to him, but the bastard’s so caught up in trying to be the strong leader that the conversation goes nowhere. Gaz keeps it together, but Ghost can tell that he still struggles sometimes when there’s one less person at exfil.

Months go by, and Ghost is fine, really, he is.

And then one day Ghost is smoking in that secret spot where he and Soap used to, and it hits him all at once—the kind of grief that swallows you whole, the kind that tears you apart and bleeds you dry to feed itself, the kind that’s bigger than you’ll ever be. It hits him that Soap is gone, confined to the pages of a journal, the sparse pictures Ghost has of him, and the memories that will die alongside Ghost.

The world is so big and Ghost is so small, and he is alone again.

Sukuna is Peak Gap Moe. I’ll never be over this. This bastard talks tough, eats people, and kills like a woodchipper and yet…he is a poetic little sap. Getting mad over an improper haikus, the misidentification of flowers…and confessing his feelings to Gojo Satoru under several layers of wordplay no one except those well-versed in ancient Japanese would catch.

I've been over this in greater detail in Sukuna's Negative Rizz, but @tangsakura added more context in the replies to that post, making Sukuna's use of 凡夫 (bonpu) for Gojo even gayer.

In summary, 凡夫 (bonpu) can be translated as painfully ordinary or unenlightened. But in the individual kanji readings, 凡 is mediocre and 夫 is husband. You could read this as Sukuna calling Gojo his mediocre husband. And that's just the modern readings! The ancient readings...

So you can read this line from Sukuna as the following:

“You were born in an era without me and hailed as 'The Strongest'

1) And yet you turned out to be…painfully ordinary.”

2) And yet you turned out to be…unenlightened.”

3) And yet you turned out to be…a mediocre husband/wife/spouse.”

4) And yet you turned out to be…the ordinary one who could stand by my side.”

Sukuna seems to be saying these things all at once. (It’s no different than the Megumi Activities wordplay he uses with Enchain. Alt. link if the Twitter dies.) Gojo apparently makes him feel very conflicted. He’s boring, he can do better, he shouldn’t even call himself the Honored One, he’s his equal, they’re married. The irony here is that no one except Sukuna can understand this.

Stiles coming to the realization that he’s in love with Derek and just resigning himself to it. He knows that this love is different than the way he loved Lydia. It’s deeper and built on devotion and protection. But he’s still not enough,

Derek who is good and persistent, could never love stiles. Stiles knows he loves with people who are always just out of reach for him. He knew this when he fell in love with Lydia in the third grade. He felt it when told his mother that he loved her for the last time. He came to terms with it when he begged his dad to stop drinking, to rest, to eat better. And he resigned himself to it as he watches Derek hale smile. He is in love and knows that Derek will never love him back.

He just can’t imagine a world were Derek hale loves him back in the same way. So Stiles will love him, quietly but fiercely. Derek will never have to worry about anything with Stiles by his side. And Stiles will remain by his side for as long as he can. And maybe one day he’ll be able to watch Derek fall in love with someone else without it feeling like he’s dying but deep down he’s know that will never happen.
