PJO Future AU head-cannon stuff (some ARE taken from other peoples head-cannons bc they’re awesome):

- Will Solace would not be a medic/be in the medical field— I feel like just because he’s good at it doesn’t mean he likes it. Maybe he’d be a teacher because of his leadership skills.

- I feel like from working in the infirmary and having people close to him pass, Nico would choose a medical field job. I feel like he’d be an RN (registered nurse) or doctor and work at like an urgent care (er is too crazy for him— or maybe it wouldn’t and he’d like the chaos)

- I also feel like there’d be a not so great injury and Nico would be like “Oh let me see” then see it and be like “oh that’s really cool” not much would phase him— or it would but he’d find it fascinating

- I feel like the fact that they didn’t have these new kinds of tech when Nico was growing up also adds to his fascination. Like what do you mean x-Ray machines exist?

- I feel like Percy would do well with water jobs— like maybe he’d be a marine biologist and he’d find it fun to just communicate with the ocean life.

- Frank and Hazel would take a lot of dual credit classes or graduate early from highschool so they could focus on the camp— like they’d take online stuff so they could spend more time focusing on camp. (hope that makes sense) I’m not sure what I think their careers would be.

- Leo would own his own mechanic shop after going to trade school (saw on tiktok)

- Jason (revived) would be a professor of history— probably mythology.

- As a Valgrace shipper (dont judge pls) I think that they’d get together shortly after Jason is revived (not too short— six months after?) because they’ve been through a lot already and don’t want to risk anything again.

Now, onto kids because I don’t see these often but I find it fun to imagine:

- Frank would be a girl dad. He’s got two daughters and is just so happy with them and Hazel.

- Percy and Annabeth would have three kids, two girls and a son, in that order. I feel like Percy and Annabeth would work hard to have good relationships with their kids and finally relax. I feel like they’d be sorta protective but also be very relaxed with them- educate them about being mature and making good choices.

- I feel like Annabeth would realize how important names were and try to name her kids after popular figures in history who had good stories

- Will and Nico would probably have two kids, both adopted, but one would be one of Will’s half-siblings/half-nephews. The kid was really little, like four or five, when he got to camp and Will just kinda adopted him so he didn’t have to be full-time at camp. They also have a daughter but not until the son is like 12. She’s also adopted and is also a half-blood but I feel like they wouldn’t know who her godly parent is until she’s 12 and then be shocked because she’s like a child of Zeus.

- Leo and Jason would wait a while and focus on their relationship and careers. Then they’d adopt two daughters (not at the same time) and raise them where they don’t know about half-bloods until they’re older. They’d probably be half-bloods so that way they could raise them the way they wished they were raised. Leo and Jason don’t want them to have to see and experience the stuff they had to at such a young age.

- I don’t think any of them would name their kids after any of their late friends. I saw someone, a while ago, bring up that it could result in bad memories or just not be an okay time yet to do so. So— I don’t think that Annabeth would name her kid Silena and I don’t think Nico would name his kid Bianca.

- However, I do feel like Annabeth and Percy would name their eldest Sally after Percy’s mom (it would work well with the headcannon that Annabeth would name her kids after people with good stories) and have her middle name be a positive powerful historical figure.

(I realize I left Piper out— I’ve been forgetting a lot about characters recently and need to go back and reread HOO in order to grasp what I think she’d do in the future)

I don’t like valgrace

Okay, I like Leo and Jason but I don’t get valgrace. Like they both need love but I just don’t see them together. If anything I think they have a brotherly relationship like Percy and Grover. I’m not sure if I’m alone in this one or not but yeah.

anyway no hate to valgrace shippers I can see why it’s cute I just don’t ship it. At school so I might go more in depth on this later

I’m not a huge valgrace shipper, but I’m not opposed to it! I wish the books expanded on their relationship more tho 🥲 I feel like the books kept telling us they were good friends but not showing how they were good friends. I don’t think their romantic chemistry is that strong but I’m totally down to draw them anyway 👍☺️

Honestly, WISH I could tell you. But it’s been a good two years since I read PJO and HOO. But I’m fairly familiar with how the pros and antis defend their stances.

One thing both sides don’t seem to grasp is that 👏PERCY👏IS👏AN👏UNRELIABLE👏NARRATOR👏. Literally anything that he does is tainted by his experiences. That’s why some scenes in the OG series might be exaggerated based on his feelings, and in HOO might be played down for us to think “oooh percabeth cute”.

Seriously, the way both sides attack and defend is just so rooted in misogyny. The pros think the judoflip scene is funny. The antis attack annabeth in a way that would only be the case if she were a girl. And obviously there’s Rick himself who writes Percabeth with the intention of being the good ship. It’s just…messy.

Anon, I wish I could offer more insight. But it’s 11am and I’m ranting about a ship I don’t care about from a fandom I’m no longer in (well… except for solangelo and valgrace). Maybe if I ever reread the series I’ll write a proper rant. But as of now I don’t see that happening :’) Sorry anon, I wish I could be more analytical.

realize this: when I first got on tumblr one of my first moots was a valgrace shipper and I’m still moots with them we just don’t interact much- but I for a while was Jason grace and they where Leo ! (It was a joke ) that lasted exactly like 4 weeks- and if you scroll down alotttttt you’ll find that era along with *Cough* the Roblox user azzy era. (That sucked)

Liper - I love how effortless their bond is and how much they get to be themselves with each other. It feels like they care about each other without even trying, like it’s as easy as breathing. And then there’s the irony—the “class clown” and “the pretty girl”, the son of the Hephaestus and the daughter of Aphrodite. Everything about their relationship feels like it’s in spite of something and to know they’ll continually choose their bond no matter what anyone else says or thinks or does…..lemme stop before I get emotional chile. #fated AF!

Jasiper - I was never a huge jasiper shipper (sorry) but if I had to pick a thing—I appreciate the respect they have for each other. I know they’ve been through some serious stuff in canon but something that always strikes me is how they’ll always put the other before themself no matter what terms they might be on at the time. They can avoid each other all they want but deep down (not even that deep really) that concern for the other’s well-being will always, always be there

Valgrace - The popular kid/unpopular kid trope strikes again! I’m unfortunately even more of a fiend about this when it comes to mlm ships. I love how similar their inner-conflicts are, the only difference being that Jason’s fake confidence comes off as self-assurance while Leo’s fake confidence comes off as being annoying. They definitely have more in common than they know, and the idea of the two of them navigating their insecurities together while being in a romantic relationship is soooo interesting to me. They’re also both SO dumb when left alone together and I think it’s super funny

Jasipereo - They’re the presidents of shared trauma, what else can I say! They’re borderline toxic with the way they’d literally and hypothetically lay down their lives for each other. I guess my fave thing is how they put the “tragedy” in “Greek tragedy” because who tf else in hoo is two for three when it comes for dying to protect your trio lmaooo. Only way you can break up this band is through DEATH ☠️ Honestlyyy though when you consider my fave things about each pairing within the trio, it just boils down to one thing—how much they love each other. Their relationship has been tried and tested many times, but at the end of the day that love will never go away <333

opinions on valgrace?

I see this ship a whole lot, but I never really knew what to think of it.

I think this entire ship exists because people hate Caleo and Jason and Piper broke up, and I’m sorry, I think it’s cute but I don’t really see it.

I really like their friendship tho, like I think that Jason and Leo and Piper are all kind of platonic soulmates, like they would all die for eachother. At the end of the lost hero when they defeat the giant, they just all sit there and laugh because they’re so glad that they’re alive, is such a moment that really drives this idea home.

I think that Leo kind of deciding that in no way is he ever going to let Jason die in this quest and so he decides that instead of Jason dying he was going to die instead, was really cool. It really shows how amazing Leo is as a character and how great of a friend he is.

As a ship, I think it doesn’t work out. I don’t see Leo being romantic and I’ve already said this before, but Leo being in any romantic relationship kind of ruins his character. It ruined it with calypso, if Jason rushes in it’ll ruin their friendship too and I don’t want that. Leo needs to learn to love himself and care for himself and learn that it’s okay to love himself and it’s okay to not be in a relationship.

I hate Caleo so much you guys, you don’t even know but this isn’t about Caleo- and I don’t know, it’s just really messy. If they got together, I don’t think it would work out.

I’m saying this as a huge jercy shipper but idk they always just seemed like platonic soulmates to me. Like Leo would and HAS died for Jason, and I feel like in any circumstance Jason would do the exact same thing.

But them being romantic is kinda eh, yk? Like I don’t think that they would.

Oh~ I love shipping, even if it’s just crack shipping.

My personal favorite in Attack on Titan is Eruri! They are literally married in my head. Yumihisu is really cute too and so is Eremika. Nicosasha is so comforting despite few interactions and a crack ship I really love is JeanPiku. I love being a multi shipper, like I can just get away from all the drama.

Also, I have to mention @calscollision ‘s cherushī x Connie, Kirari x Reiner and Sonya x Erwin since they are so cute!

For Percy Jackson… I’m kinda bland and will go for Percabeth. It was so nice to see them develop and I do understand it has some flaws in it. Perachel is another cute one that I like along with Valgrace. How can I forget Will and Nico too

Even if you put something about how the person can have a different opinion they still don’t want to see comments against the ship on their post.

I feel like two things COULD happen in the TSATS sequel

SPOILER WARNING FOR TSATS, TOA, AND BASICALLY THE ENTIRE SERIES (especially Jason Grace)

(Also this is just a theory and what I think— if you have any ideas feel free to lmk— I really want to hear ideas on this stuff)

- I’ve said since I finished the first one that this whole thing with Nyx isn’t over yet. I don’t feel like it is— I feel like she’s not just going to stop where she is.

- Something will happen with Jason. I feel like this plot point has been opened since Apollo asked if it was Jason instead of Bob. I feel like the fact that Jason cannot be located is also something. There’s this part of me that would find it AWESOME if he was in Valhalla but also, Jason wouldn’t age if he were there. The difference between Magnus and Jason is that Magnus has his friends there with him— none of them will age. But Jason’s friends aren’t there— so he’d have to go through it the same way Thalia will.

(As a valgrace shipper— or even not as one, it would be painful to loose like that all over again)

Originally, I would’ve thought Orpheus until one of their posts. (Don’t know when it was posted, but they brought up how there are already at least three-ish parallels to Orpheus so maybe it wouldn’t be that way)

Nico was angry at Leo for what he pulled at the end of BoO— but that could’ve been because he didn’t tell him- but maybe also because Leo cheated death? Idk. But, if Nico is less inclined to pull strings— what if it comes up that he has to?

Like, last time, Nyx had made it so Nico had to revisit bad memories— what if it’s more? What if she brings Jason along for the ride— it’s the newest wound that Nico has.

So what if that leaves Nico with no choice but to bring Jason back somehow— for a while I wondered if Nico could like raise the dead and Will would heal them but I’m not sure that’s how it works.

But the biggest thing is that I don’t think it’s specifically known where Jason is and I feel like that could play a key role.

Jason has such a bad narrative— he’s down the same one Bianca had gone down. Their deaths were only in there to raise another character up. Apollo to change once he got back to Olympus and Nico to be a hero. This is a chance for Jason to have a new narrative— he had to live through the Jason in mythology’s story so what about rewriting his narrative. A chance to change the story.

Jason’s character was “boring” because Jason didn’t know who he was. Jason had no memories and didn’t have a personality. (Mean that nicely) The reason why all of the characters are lovable is because they have personalities that make them stand out.

My overall point is: I feel like Nyx is going to be bringing more trouble to Nico and Will. I feel like it may include Jason as well since it was sort of alluded to when they 1) Don’t know where he is and 2) Apollo and Nico both wondered if Jason would play a part into the original Tartarus expedition.
