Can you give any character design tips?

As for character design, I wouldn’t consider myself an expert on it, but here’s what I’ve learned. I love including diversity and always pushing myself to include elements of physical traits I notice from the people I see every day. Things that make people more human and putting meaning behind choosing these traits for your characters. If someone has a scar on their face, think about how they got that scar and what kind of person would they be because of it? Do you want your character to have a face that looks kind? Or intimidating? And it’s important to include these things without falling into harmful stereotypes.

Like ik the myth is she’s supposed to fall in love with every hero that falls to her island but love doesn’t have to be romantic. Idk I just feel really iffy about the whole calypso arc so I’m redoing it lmao
