since people on Reddit criticized this for being too complicated (but not giving any tips and just saying that??) do yall think this is a good idea

it’s not fleshed out at all just a basic premise btw

•Some people are born w glowing limbs & each limb has a diff power.

•Every time someone with one of those limbs dies they either are “sealed” (by themselves), with a special command that transfers the limb cave

•or a child is born with that limb.

•Every “sealed” limb will be born again in 1-200 years (no one knows this bc they typically do not get sealed)

•if someone goes deep into one of the caves (one (right arm, but thought to be head) is marked & protected but one (right leg) is unknown) they will gain the limb

•the process of gaining this power in this way is excruciating & feels similar to getting that limb severed

•the limbs are banned by anyone who is not the king

•the kings goal is to force every person with a limb to seal themselves so that he can take all of them at once

•head, left arm, left leg, and right leg abilities are known. Only right arm & torso are unknown

•the glowing cannot be turned off so a special fabric is worn by people with the limb to hide it

Have been dealing with my Anxiety Disorder™ lately, because [gestures at everything]. Normally it’s a real low level kind of thing, I’m on medication, I occasionally have therapy, but I think now we’re all just kind of In It for a while and that’s just something we gotta deal with.

I would strenuously encourage everyone reading this to find the things that keep you afloat, whether it’s a video game, a TV show, standup comedy, anime, a book series, your favorite YouTube channel, one song on loop for eight entire days, whatever it is. Just find something to climb into for a few hours and protect your peace, build up your reserves, for as long as you can.

I feel like I haven’t done much in 2024 except hang on by my fingernails, and sometimes you gotta call that good.
