Hello lovely, my name is Leyla!

On my page I want to explore the deep depths of my mind in form of poetry and creativity, so I figured starting this blog might be just right!

Here are some things about me:

- my page is known to be „colourless“ and „cold“ however, to me it reflects a calm tranquility within nature and the mind without distractions and perceiving details in little things which life offers!

- I love the movie Dead Poets Society! There is nothing more I could talk about for hours and watch new analysis videos on YouTube. Simply beautiful.

Furthermore I also enjoy movies which cradle deep into my mind like Dune, Tenet, Interstellar, Inception, Catch Me If You Can, … some more fantasy films to get lost in my mind.

- Books and reading. Do you also happen to collect some books before reading them simply because you know you‘re going to read them and they look so beautiful? Me too. However, this year I‘m actually setting the goal to read more books I own before I get some new ones (I should probably avoid book bazaars and flee markets…)

There are various genres I enjoy such as: mystery, fiction, non-fiction, psychology, philosophy, theology and classics!

- Video- and Photography. There is nothing more beautiful than capturing a feeling or moment, expressing a situation or feeling through some video and sounds. Hopefully I‘ll get deeper into my hobby and soon you‘ll see some work of mine.

- Trees, winter, calmness, rain, big windows and wind.

Some of my absolute favourite artists are Tamino and Morpheus. However, my music taste can vary a lot.

Sibylle Baier, Françoise, Matt Elliott, Hako Yamazaki, Felix Damour, Mayberg and the Bands PianoMagic, Archive, BuckTick, MaliceMizer, TheSmiths, MassiveAttack and Rammstein. Not to mention my favourite composer Antonin Dvorak. I‘m also playing the violin and little bits of the piano.

- Languages, languages, languages. Some of my greatest interests is to discover cultures, languages and how it connects people. As for me, I‘m fluent in German, Turkish and English. However, I‘m also learning Latin-I‘ll probably learn more different languages in future hopefully.

I‘ve definitely thought about writing some stuff for the fandom before (cuz I also write a lil in my freetime and it‘s been my #1 dream to be an author ever since I was kid) but I know it would be irregular as fuck and I‘d probably go months between posting 💀 also in that weird place where on the one hand idgaf about anyone‘s opinion but on the other hand am also deathly afraid of conflict and I‘d be scared about ppl being mean if my hcs are very different from theirs/I write characters different from general fandom consensus and just in general the „lovely“ messages writers have to deal with :/ the struggle is real (sorry for the random dump, you just rly made me think about it again lol)

As for your writing, if anyone doesn't want to appreciate your writing, I will 😤. We all have different headcanons of the characters, that's what makes our ideas interesting. I would say to give it a chance when you have the time and if anyone comes at you, send them my way. I have a brick that helps rude people learn manners and etiquette 🙂

Hey there! I'm glad my blog has been a valuable resource to you.

It's definitely difficult starting out in the community, as there are many different structures and moving parts to learn. Hopefully, my advice here will be of some use too!

Looking at your blog, you have a really nice theme! It's very clear to read and quite beautiful. However, you may be having some trouble finding people to interact with because they may still be viewing you as a personal blog.

RP blogs differ from personals in a couple of different ways that I'll outline here.

(A.) Content and reblogs.

RP blogs are made up of largely tagged posts that fall into a few different categories. OOC posts, headcanons, threads, aesthetics, dash games, and more. These are almost always tagged accordingly and don't usually fall outside the main purpose of the blog. I see that your blog is for the most part empty and already following this standard, though you may want to integrate the tag system for easier navigation! I'd try to add a little bit more flavor to your blog by adding drabbles here and there as writing samples, or reblogging aesthetic/visage posts!

(B.) Rules and muse page.

One of the largest things that sets a personal apart from an rp blog is the way in which you set up your rules and muses. There is additional information on this post on how you might go about making a rules and muses page, but another way for beginners is to make a pinned post and put all information under a read more. It looks like you've already got a bio going, so here's how I personally would organize that as an example:

Obviously this is your blog and you have every right to make it how you'd like, but these are just my suggestions!

Other than that, it's a matter of being patient and reaching out to others. Not everyone will be down to rp, and that's okay. It takes time and patience, and largely an understanding of that concept. What you give, you get back. It can be discouraging when you can't find many to rp with, but it's important to remember that negativity truly will breed negativity here. Waiting for others to approach you won't always work, so you may need to ask and try to engage with others! Don't be afraid to say what you want!

(Omg I only found this accidentally cause I‘m new to having 2 blogs I‘m so sorry that I‘m only answering now, I swear I didn‘t even know this ask existed until now, but I‘m so happy you‘re interested ok aNYWAY-)

So that post I reblogged reminded me of a scene I wanted to write into that one TFA OC fanfiction I never finished so I’ll just talk about that (with a bit of context for comprehension‘s sake, but hopefully not too much cause all of the context would be like 50 pages)

(Oh also this is specifically about Scatterbrain/Scatters/SB/the one guy who‘s been infesting my brain like a parasite for the past 1.5 years)

So like basically Scatters has two main problems.

1: a dead boyfriend who got killed by the Cybertronian equivalent of the police, and

2: a „past“ in the stockades, where he got put after attacking the guy who killed his boyfriend, and which made him develop an extreme fear of getting things plugged into his medical port (and medical equipment in general) as a result of things they did there.

… Needless to say these two elements don‘t mix very well, both with each other as well as with just, being a functional person in general. If you add his other other problem with vulnerability and admitting to his fears and faults and distress, everything just goes to shit.

If you now put him in a situation where he has to be medically treated (by Ratchet btw, that info becomes important later) as a result of severe „bleeding“, and subsequently also get an oil/energon transfusion via the port, you get that post I reblogged, with some extras too! So I’ll just go into detail under the cut about how that’d play out, it’s kinda long and cringe and only makes sense to me and I‘m probably also the only one who gets this emotional about it cause this guy‘s entire psyche is like, in my brain. Anyway- proceed at your own risk :))

At first he‘d start being more and more aggressive, refusing to open his port at all and saying that he „doesn‘t need“ the transfusion, then going over to yelling about how he „doesn‘t need to do anything you tell me to actually“ when he starts to run out of arguments to cover up the fact he‘s just very afraid of all of this. This would however only result in aggravating Ratchet, ending in him getting Bulkhead to physically restrain Scatters to finally force open his port and get the transfusion going already, because he really does need it. And yeah… the physical restraint coupled with the forceful intrusion doesn’t help at all with differentiating this experience from the stockades. Having already been out of it due to his low energy levels, now with the added reminder of these other two factors, Scatters starts hysterically crying and begging to „make it stop“ and just fully reliving his imprisonment at this point. Obviously Bulkhead doesn’t have any idea what‘s going on, and while Ratchet can make an educated guess (from experience cough cough), that doesn‘t help much with figuring out how to make him stop having an episode.

(I feel the need to mention here that I believe in the popular(?) theory(?) that the bots have next to no idea what mental health/illness even is, let alone how to treat it when it gets bad)

Anyway, they just try to get all the fuel levels into a normal range as quickly as possible, after which everything is removed from Scatters immediately. This does get him to stop begging and screaming, but he‘s still crying, shaking violently and very obviously not all there yet. Bulkhead gets him off of the operating table they‘d had him on, and half pushes half carries him out of the medbay and just, outside, in an effort to get him to calm down somehow. I‘d imagine he‘d also be very overwhelmed in that moment and would like to get someone out there with him to help, but since he‘s the only one in team prime Scatters „tolerates“, doing that would probably just make things worse, so he endures. Scatters then starts clinging to Bulkhead‘s arm when he tries to pull away, mumbling both to and about his dead lover until he eventually becomes fully aware of his surroundings again, pulls away and stares at Bulkhead for a solid minute before saying the classic „if you tell anyone about this I will make you swallow your own wrecking ball istg“ and running away to have the rest of his „moment“ somewhere else alone.

So yeah the post I reblogged just reminded me of the medical torture flashback thing, because calling out for help at all, let alone screaming, begging, crying… physical touch that isn’t violent… opening up like that in general, aren‘t really things that Scatters does. He‘s the „I hate every form of intimacy and emotional honesty and would literally rather perish than let anyone know how I feel, why I feel that way or let them help me with my troubles. Fuck you, die.“ kind of person.

I hate him he‘s so terrible he‘s suffering he‘s so unwell someone get this bitch a therapist please someone kill him actually it‘s fine he gets better by the end of everything hahahhaahaaaa.

(I just accidentally deleted the entire paragraph about how his obsession with and unhealthy idolising of his dead lover are like,, core parts of his character and how everything links back to that and how his entire arc is about learning to accept that guy‘s death and how to be his own person again and not tying every action to „what would he want? What would he have done?“ and letting go and not acting like his life is completely over whenever he gets reminded of everyone‘s mortality and letting himself love other people and not feeling guilty about it and and and and- basically I‘m pissed I deleted that and can‘t get it back and that THIS is the only substitute I can come up with. Kill me.)

(Oh also there‘s smth about letting himself feel other things again cause like hate and longing are pretty much the only things he‘s felt for like 1 million years so yh I really shouldn‘t have named him Scatterbrain of all things huh cause the one thing he is is singleminded (and unable to let go of one thing/person). Oh well.)

Ok this was all really really long and unnecessary I hope your brain isn‘t melting out of your ears. I certainlydid tell you more though haha…´:]

Some of the comments here belong more in a private Instagram group chat 😂😅 Especially when we talk about her looks! It just makes us look jealous and petty. And the master manipulator will use that in her favour at some point. In Denmark, physical beauty has a different value. The average-looking women is considered more beautiful than in other countries. Body positivity is real in Denmark. Imagine how incredibly easy it will be for Johanne to play victim and how Danish women will sympathise with her. We will be Alex jealous crazy fans tearing a poor woman apart. Every one of her posts and stories are criticised here, even crochet hooks are interpreted as an innuendo. Please don't get me wrong, I know why people think that way about her, she's a psychopath. But I know that sooner or later the selfie-cow will take advantage of this blog. Last year she managed to collect all of his friends, that haven’t followed her within a few days for a private Instagram account, and just because of a few 🙄 emojis. We have two three solid things against her, the art theft, multiple lies and so on but even the fan accounts are quiet 🤐 so we get no outside support.

I want to talk about her appearance too btw!!!!!! The difference between her own posts and unfiltered ones are insane but I‘d feel more comfortable to do that in a private groupchat not to give her the satisfaction of playing a victim. You’re blog is fun and this is just a friendly suggestion, maybe you offer a groupchat on Instagram for these type of conversations 😅 or other subjects. For example I‘ve heard some things about his sexual preferences but I‘d never share it on a public blog.

I can totally understand your perspective, and I agree that some comments/opinions shared here are not the most political correct, but it has also been my goal to provide everyone a space with as much freedom as possible, where everyone can express all of their opinions, either positive or negative, and interact with each other even if the conversation sometimes gets a little off topic. I know doing this on a public blog might not always be ideal, but if anything, it shows a real picture of the fandom — the good side, the bad side and everything in between. Because if we feel the need to "hide" our thoughts (considering we're not harassing people directly, of course — that is something I personally do not condone), doesn't that denote some kind of censorship as well? Which was exactly what led me to start this blog in the first place — seeing fans being "attacked" by other fans on IG for having different opinions. From my perspective, having different opinions is a good thing, and if we can discuss them in a civil manner, we might actually learn something along the way, or consider things we hadn't before. I know I already have, in the few months of this blog's existence. 😊 Moreover, a public space is always easier to find for new fans who are just trying to gather some more info or get a perspective of the fandom, rather than private groups, who are usually kept among a more restricted group of people, and not always very welcoming towards newcomers. Besides, while I agree that a private group grants people more freedom to express their thoughts in a more unfiltered way and/or share more sensible information, there's also no guarantee that screenshots won't be taken and shared in other places, and it can be hard to know who did it in the first place, so privacy isn't 100% guaranteed, unfortunately. 😕

That said, if a group chat on Instagram (or another platform) is something you guys would like to have, I'm open to creating one as well. 😊 So just let me know what you think! 💖

Tbh, I have lots of headcanons, though most of the time they develop in my fics ;)) Some book spoilers based ones, too, I guess, and in no particular order!

I totally headcanon Louis LOVING to brush Lestat’s hair, because Lestat loves it, and actually gets quite… docile (all things considered ^^).

I think Louis, and especially this Louis likes to be seduced. It’s something he can tell himself it’s not his fault when it happens, I mean it’s Lestat, right, and I can just see him becoming a shivering mess with the right attention 😈

(Whenever they live together/are together) There’s never a shortage of new books or warm coats or new shoes, even though Lestat may bitch about it

Louis‘ playlist contains everything Lestat has ever composed or listened to (and he drives Armand insane with it)

The post Merrick Blood-exchange-circle is what Louis truly considers his birth to darkness (more meta than headcanon, probably)

Louis‘ reasoning for red pyjamas is because he loves Lestat’s little drinks (and it’s sometimes messy)

Louis recreates huge and artful and yet wild and beautiful gardens in the Auvergne

He and Lestat visit that bench Lestat dragged up into the mountains regularly to make out in moonlight

They both like sharing baths/showers, purely for skin-hunger/petting/caressing pleasures

They have hilarious (and intense) quickies when Claudia enters their lives (kids, I tell ya)

Louis is a/the main source of proper relationship between Lestat & Viktor because he keeps dragging them both out to plays and makes them talk etc

Lestat loves to dance, and Louis loves it more than he likes to admit

Louis „confiscates“ Lestat‘s old room in the Auvergne, refitting it for the two of them

Louis thinks it cute that Lestat keeps confusing certain English/French terms, no matter how old he is

The real reason why Louis refuses to re-turn a human Lestat is because he knows he wouldn’t be able to stop, he wants him too much

Louis misses Lestat in higher-heeled shoes and privately curses modern fashion

Lestat mixes their own toothpaste (yes I do think they brush) with his own blood mixed for taste in and Louis only realizes that on the ship when he leaves with Claudia (ok this one is bittersweet)

Louis teases Lestat mercilessly in regards to that obnoxious Medusa ring

if and when they share a coffin it doesn’t matter where or when they are they just… are. And it’s beautiful.

Also some bittersweet (canon) things that live rent-free in my head

in the Prince Lestat era Lestat spies on Louis at Trinity Gate … but Louis was almost as strong as Lestat then. I always figured he must’ve known (or seen it in the minds of others). And he waited for Lestat to come to him (and Lestat eventually did, to Rue Royale after broadcasting to let Louis know to come there)

Louis dusting off Lestat and brushing Lestat’s hair in/post Memnoch. That’s actually canon, since David is embarrassed when he realizes they’ve both stopped doing that (in Merrick)😭

Louis knows Lestat needs emotional support and extends it, quietly, surely, holding his hand etc

Louis and Lestat steal away from the court to spend time alone in Paris (where Lestat has (always) rented hotel rooms😈)

i don‘t actually! you see i‘m very busy during the day with my hobbies and friends etc. so the only time for me to properly write is at night! you could say i‘m a fast writer but that‘s also because the second i get an idea in my head (i‘m very creative during the night) i immediately write it and can‘t stop until it‘s finished. (I will sometimes write more fics during the night but it all depends on my motivation or on how tired i am!)

If you‘re asking me for tips i‘d say (under the cut):

number one: do not force yourself because it will always make you feel worse, i know that from myself like when i dont feel like writing i simply dont do it! just know even if you feel a bit motivated you do not have to write a whole fic, just brainstorm a few outlines and gradually write a fic. :)

number two: do not look at votes or compare yourself to others, i myself don‘t look at those things at all, meaning the reason i started this blog was because i was simply searching for a new creative outlet (and because heizou is so hot dude i had to write for him), idfc about any drama, any competitions or whatever is going on here.

But really quick: i‘m not saying that receiving likes/reblogs isn‘t nice, i‘m literally always getting so embarrassed and flustered whenever i see people like my writing or if they take their time to send me an ask like it just means so much to me i could honestly cry, and i couldn‘t be more thankful for that because that‘s also something what keeps me writing. - yet in the end: you should always write for yourself and never look at those things too much since in the end this is just tumblr, it‘s not reallife and that‘s good.

Last but not least: as long as you had a good time writing your piece of work, you did a great job! 💗

Hey Mrs. O! I‘ve been following your blog since ages and it‘s/you are still awesome! It always makes my day when I get notifications for new posts from you 🥰

This might be a bit of a strange question, but I was wondering, since I tend to like most Otomes you positively mentioned at one point or another: I am a lot into more mature and/or darker Otome games (Piofiore was a big favorite - but maybe I‘m also biased bc the artwork was really pretty).

I think you enjoyed VariBari and CupiPara. They seem both great but due to a lack of time for playing (only downside to having a toddler 😝) I really need to restrict what I buy/spend time on. So I‘m curious if they have a bit of a deeper story or are more on the RomCom side?

Oh and very important: I‘d Love to read more of your fave IkeGen scene translations!!!

Hello laeliyah!! It absolutely makes my day to see familiar names pop up in my inbox - and yours definitely is 💕 Followers like you are every bit as awesome and I appreciate you!! (And your English is perfectly lovely)

I did enjoy Variable Barricade and Cupid Parasite a lot. But they definitely are on the lighter side of things, although they have their moments of angst and a little bit of deeper mythos in at least one route of CupiPara...just juxtaposed against some of the funniest most WTF moments I've read in otome. I would still recommend at least Cupid Parasite if you're open to that - it has the added benefit of being a bit spicier than your usual console otome as well, like Piofore can be.

For darker or more mature stuff, even though I haven't started it personally I know a lot of friends and reviewers are really enjoying Birushana. The MC is very strong and well-developed I hear, and there's equal emphasis on the plot/action and the romance...a lot of people have called it the much improved spiritual successor to Nightshade, which was another somewhat darker otome I enjoyed. It would have the added benefit of overlapping characters and time period with Ikemen Genjiden as well!

Best of luck to you with performing that all-important duty of toddler pillow 😘 And I will see what I can do about more IkeGen!

Not really a question, but I just found your blog and after scrolling through a lot of very wonderful posts I just have to thank you for agreeing with me that Tini Howard is the worst writer who ever did live. Now, I know you didn't come right out and say that, but I read between the lines. Worst. Writer. Ever. Keep her away from Billy and Teddy and any other character I enjoy. Also, please do not tell me that you don't think that she's the worst writer ever. I need this. Worst. Writer. Ever.

Hi :D I‘m glad you enjoy my blog and posts so much.

But, to get to your topic, I wouldn’t say that she‘s the worst writer ever. I don’t enjoy generalising and the worst writer is definitely JK Rowling as she is a shitty person.

What I will say though is that I personally think is that Tini Howard doesn’t understand Teddy and Billy at all. She did an okay job with Strikeforce but it has become evident in Wiccan&Hulkling that she doesn’t care. I almost could not get through the comic at first because Billy was a whiny child without any agency except wanting to have some alone time with Teddy and getting drunk. Similarly, she declares Billy as the weakest link in Strikeforce and that just makes me angry.

His character has so much depth and power and she just sacrifices all of that for champagne jokes. Ffs, he didn’t even want to help Teddy save their people because he wanted to bone.

A point of contention for me is also that in almost every story she writes with my two favourite boys, they always become opposites. Teddy is the absolute jock while Billy becomes more feminine. And there is nothing wrong with more feminine representations (that‘s why I am excited for the new gay superhero Somnus, revealed in Marvel‘s Voices Pride), I want them actually, but that is just not how Billy‘s character was realised and I love Billy as he is.

To sum up, I‘d be glad if she would never touch Billy and Teddy again.
