But if I could make one myself? Idk. America Chavez, Wiccan and Hulkling, obviously. Nico Minoru and Karolina Dean. Viv Vision. Speed and David Alleyne. Xavin. Oh and Gwenpool too. Include Julie Power while we're at it too because she's nice, I like her powers and also for the very possible initial awkwardness of Karolina being on a team with her girlfriend and her two exes lmao.

I know I simply just kinda combined a bunch of Young Avengers and a bunch of Runaways with a few others because I'm mainly including characters and couples I like. And I don't care. This lineup would be funny as hell. Sue me lmao.

Marvel told the creators of Agatha All Along that they couldn't use Teddy/Hulkling. This tells me they either:

have an idea for him and when/how to introduce his character

OR do not want to use his character at all

Given that they introduced Skaar in She-Hulk, I worry that he will be filling the "hulk" slot in any Young Avengers style project.

My fear is that Marvel intends to replace Teddy (Hulkling) with Skaar in the MCU to avoid having Billy/Teddy relationship (a m/m homosexual relationship) on the big screen. Marvel has been introducing many younger heroes as if prepping for a new stage. I doubt they would introduce Skaar and Hulkling and put them on a team together given their visual "hulk" characteristics.

I also keep thinking about the fact that Billy was given such a Teddy-coded boyfriend with such a similar name in Agatha All Along. Billy and Eddie even said they love each other. Would Marvel would sign off on the character of Eddie if they had plans for Teddy?

My hope is that if they weren't planning on using Teddy before, they are rethinking it now given the success of Agatha All Along and Eddie's character (despite his limited screen time).

Don't get me wrong, I would be more than happy to have both Skaar and Teddy. Is that too much to ask? I hope not.

Pride Month Art Challenge Day #14: Wiccan and Hulkling from Marvel Comics

Look, as someone he’s been reading comics for a while I couldn’t not pull a few couples from those (yeah these aren’t the only comic book couple you’ll see). And what better pair to start with than one of Marvels most prominent queer couples. I mean where else are you gonna get a being of huge magical power and the literal prince of space getting together?

(Spoilers!) Not a Hex Theory fan, so how about a reality warping variation?

Edit: SPOILERS! My theory ended up right on the money! Don't read if you haven't seen the final episodes of Agatha All Along!

So, I've really been hoping the hex theory isn't true but while thinking about it, I was pondering a variation that made more sense to me and I would be more amenable to. Wiccan is my favorite Marvel character so the original hex theory doesn't sit well with me given how it makes Billy into a sort of villain, killing or allowing for the deaths of the witches on The Road.

So I wondered, what if Billy conjured the Road subconsciously? Meaning, he didn't mean to create that specific Road or trap the coven on it, but he is a reality warper, like his mother, and his powers listened to his wishes. He influenced and created The Road in a way, but does not control it.

In the comics, Billy's reality warping powers are tied to what he wants. He chants what he wants to happen to manifest it. In the earlier comics he even literally chants "I want..." to use his powers (especially at the beginning of his run in the Young Avengers).

Billy wants the Road to be real so that he can find Tommy. I believe his quest to find Tommy is real. He wanted it and he felt it was so close with the coven gathered. It was almost real so his magic made it happen.

Billy is EXTREMELY powerful in the comics and, like his mother, he doesn't always realize the consequences of his own wishes. In fact, he is afraid of himself and the extent of his powers at one point in the second Young Avengers run.

In the comics there is a point when Billy and his boyfriend (Teddy) split temporarily because they worry that Billy may have unknowingly created Teddy with his own powers. He also brought Teddy's mother "back to life" by pulling a version of her from another reality where she was about to die (it didn't work out very well). So, fun thought, "cheating" life/death is nothing new for Billy in the comics either.

In the previous episode (7), he mentioned to Lillia that he didn't realize the true extent of his powers or he would have tried to save Alice. I believe this to be true as well. He magic also reacted to his emotions, lashing out to bury the coven after Alice's death.

If Agatha suspects that the conjuring of the Road may be directly tied to Billy, it would explain her comments about how the road "suits him" and her questioning his idea that he wouldn't kill people to get what he wants (he already has even if he didn't realize or mean to do it).

Of course, this theory incorporates evidence for the hex theory such as the items in Billy's room, the members of the coven having a connection to him (even potentially Rio/ Death due to William's death), etc.

Of course, I don't think that my theory is more or less correct, or even correct at all for that matter. It's just fun to speculate while waiting impatiently for the next episode.
