You end up asking Sukuna why he never brings you to his fights, and he's hesitant to answer. You ask him if he's embarrassed by you and he firmly denies it, saying that he isn't embarrassed by you in the slightest. He eventually reveals that he doesn't bring you along bc he's seen how the media treats other fighters' partners and he doesn't want anyone to attack you for any reason.

Yall talk through things and basically you tell him that you're a big girl and you can take care of yourself. And although Ryomen just wants to keep you safe away from all the people who could be shitty to you, he gives in and invites you to his next match.

Fast forward to said match which is actually against the same dude who broke his jaw almost a year ago. You're sitting right outside the octagon where his manager and trainer are (they're super excited to finally meet you!! They're v nice and cool 😊). You're wearing one of Ryo's fav hoodies and almost bouncing with excitement bc omg you’re gonna get to see your strong hot boyfriend fight irl for the first time!!

The match starts soon enough, and you're cheering on your boyfriend the whole time. It's nerve-wracking to see him get hit, especially since this guy hurt him so badly just this year.

It's the main event so there's five rounds total, and it's long and grueling, but Sukuna wins by a hair and you're so excited!!! You literally start jumping around when he wins, squealing and clapping and cheering for him.

He leaves the ring and goes straight to you, picking you up and twirling you around. You're squealing, yelling at him to put you down bc you're "too big" and he "shouldn't exert himself after a fight like that". He finally puts you down, cupping your face and kissing you hard. He smirks at you when he pulls away a moment later.

"I know my limits, bunny. You need to relax and trust me a bit more." You open your mouth to protest but he just kisses you again, the two of you ignoring the rambunctious crowd in the background. "I'm gonna have to bring you to fights more often," he almost yells as he pulls away. "Pretty sure you're my good luck charm." 💕💕💕

You become more involved in his career after that, showing up to the majority of his matches and supporting him. You've even got some fans of your own! There's people out there that are literally cheering you two on and want you to stay together forever and it's so adorable 🥺💕

Side note: you know how they have those pre fight press conferences with opponents? And how the opponents trash talk each other and shit? Well, at his next big conference after yall went public with your relationship, the guy Sukuna was supposed to fight made some rude comments about your appearance and Sukuna ended up knocking him out on stage with a flying kick. Nobody dared talking shit about you after that

Ok so you're convinced that Sukuna is the only big buff dude who finds you attractive but you are WRONG, DEAD WRONG. A LOT of the gym rats that occupy the same spaces as Sukuna find you very sexy and wanna fuck a chubby beauty like you (bc let's be honest, a lotta gym rats are chubby chasers). You may not notice these guys looking at you, but Sukuna does and he hates it, you're his chubby bunny and he needs everyone to know it, so what does he do? He records himself fucking you from behind and sends it to his acquaintances so they know who you belong to. Also will not hesitate to drag you to the gym with him so that after he trains he can fuck you in the showers in the locker room. He likes knowing that his fellow fighters are right outside changing and can hear you moaning like a whore for him.

After a couple years together, Sukuna gets a tattoo associated with you. Could be your name or a little bunny, but he wants to have a physical reminder of his love for you. Maybe it's his wedding gift to you (bc he's dumb and corny like that sksksk).

Yes, he's had playboy tendencies in the past, but tbh once yall started dating he knew you were the one and he was ready to settle down after the first three months. He doesn't propose for a couple years, but in the back of his mind he knows that no one else can make him as happy as you do, so he's certain that he's gonna spend the rest of his life with you.

Please don't break this boy's heart. He puts on a tough act, but he wears his heart on his sleeve and can't handle when his loved ones hurt him. That's why he doesn't have a lot of ppl close to him: he's worried about getting hurt.

He won't admit it, but you're the only thing that matters to him, like you're his reason for living. Before you, he just went through the motions and didn't really think about what he'd do when he retired. Sure, he saves money for retirement and whatnot, but he doesn't really have a plan for life besides fighting.

Still as the night sky, Kenma stands by his balcony, adoring the scenery before him. The moon often looked lonely, but with the stars by its side, he knows that it will never be alone—even when another day has to come and the sun has to take its spot in the sky once again.

“I wish you were here.” His words linger in the air, longing laced in his tone. He swallows the lump in his throat; seemingly trying to swallow up the sobs that wish to come out. “Fuck - I wish you were here, Y/N.”

Two years ago, Kenma fell in love.

"Hiraku's amazing. You made them perfectly."

He believed, he loved, and he cried.

He believed in the words you uttered, completely entranced with your perspective of the world. He believed the definition you gave for love; how endearing it is, how sweet it is, and how beautiful it is. Though, you never really mentioned how much love can hurt so much—how love can be the cause of one’s wound and also be the medicine for it.

“You once told me how the impossible can happen,” he laughs softly, reminiscing the conversation you two had. “You - you told me it was because of magic,” a small smile follows. “And because of love.”

He shuts his eyes close but the image of you is imprinted on the back of his head.

“Magic has so many connotations in it, and for me, it’s seeing the glimmer in a person’s eyes. It’s seeing their smile… mhm… it’s seeing their smile and then you feel like it can go against the brightness of the sun. You know?”

“Is that why you’re always making the people around you laugh and smile?”

Kenma knew you always wanted to make the people around you happy, though, he never really knew why. He only understood why when he lost you. You wanted to make people remember you as someone who had a smile that can go against the brightness of the sun, someone who had the whole constellation in their eyes, someone who fought well. You wanted to be remembered as someone you always dreamed to be, not only as a person who had a pitiful fate.

“I just… I want you here with me, Y/N. Because of you, I’ve learned how feelings should be; that I shouldn’t suppress them, and instead, express them.” He allows himself to breathe, before continuing to speak. “I’ve learned how it feels to be free, to be truly happy, to love.”

He loved you. Well, he still loves you. How can he ever make the word ‘love’ in any tense, when it’s evident that the feelings he has are still present? That the only tense he can associate it to is the present, the future—and it never will be in the past. His love for you will never be covered in dirt and dust; but it’s quite ironic as what you two had was ephemeral, like dust in the wind.

“You showed me what magic was, what love was; and god, how I wish magic was real.” The coldness of the air kisses Kenma’s skin softly, as he shudders a bit. “Because if magic was real, I’d make sure that you’ll be here with me right now.”

He can still remember the first time he watched the moon and stars with you;

“When I’m gone, just look at the sky, okay?” Your words echo through his ears, “I’ll always be there - just look for the brightest star.”

But now, he watches it all alone.

“People are desperate for love,” the words sit familiar on his tongue. “I’m desperate for love. It’s bizarre how you changed my life, Y/N. Love has always been something hard for me to decipher, it has always been hard for me to be open to others. But, fuck - now I know how painful it is.”

He looked at the sky once again; and then decided to pick the brightest star peeking through his sight—he decided to name it after you. Even if you aren’t physically here anymore, the trace of you will remain; that even if another day has to come, he knows you’ll always be there for him.

The stars will always be there for the moon.

“I love you,”

The first droplet of tears fell from his eyes, and the sky mimicked his cry.

An: I wrote this for my friend, so instead of y/n it's replaced by a name, also it's my first time really writing angst so pls bare with me <33

It's a regular saturday on a fine spring day, the birds chirping outside Avery's window as the peaceful breeze was passing by, the sun slightly peeking through.

Avery decided to finally wash up, put some clothes on and head over to their kitchen to grab some breakfast, going to sit by the window working on their computer to look at what new faces were arriving in the class they were teaching kids in, they looked cute.

Time passing by and it ended up being later than expected, Avery had just finished doing the basics that had to be done before school start and closed the laptop, going over to style their hair, excited to see their boyfriend after so long, Chan's been really busy with their upcoming comeback so the only time they really had time to see each other would be on facetime late at night.

Avery decided to call Chan to see if he had woken up yet, poor boy had to be awake very late at night to check the songs and whatnot.

"Please procide to the voicemail after the beep" Huh? That was weird.

Avery didn't think much of it tho and decided to clean their apartment, looking into their roomates room and seeing it surprisingly clean, thanking her over text for not leaving the job up to Avery.

*Riiiing*

"Hi Channie!" Avery happily answered the phone, today was their day to hang out, they planned it all to be today.

"Hi Ave, why're you calling?" Avery started to get a little confused.

"When are you coming over?"

"Oh it was today?? Oh no Ave im so sorry i'm out with Seungmin and Minho in Gwangju, they decided to have their shoot out there and we didn't think much of it and just went-" Chan couldn't finish his scentence when Avery spoke up.

"Wtf Chan, we've had this day planned in so long now, why didn't you tell me anything?" Avery was starting to tear up, this wasn't usually how Chan would cancel their plan, he would say it in good time so they could plan something else instead.

"I'm really sorry Ave, please let me try to talk to the manager and maybe get me home" Chan exclaimed, sounding very chocked and sad at the other end.

"No Chan it's fine, don't let me ruin it, they're having their shoot there and for it to not finish just for you to go home, that wouldn't be good" Was all Avery said as they hung up, sitting slowly down on the couch, tears slowly falling down their face, letting a big sigh out before calling someone else.

"Hi Jiyeon, where are you?" Avery said in the phone, obviously sounding sadder than expected.

"I'm at Seonghwa's dorm what's happening?? Are you okay??" A little hiccup left Avery's voice before they answered"

"No not really, you know how I was supposed to hang out with Chan today? He forgot and went to Gwangju with Seungmin and Minho to see them shoot for the comback" Jiyeon's sigh was the only thing heard after that.

"We'll pick you up" Avery smiled, Jiyeon was always there for them, no matter what they went through.

Half an hour passed before a knock was heard on the door, Avery went over to open the door, sprinting up to open it, there was Jiyeon who had her arms open ready to give Avery with a warm comforting hug.

"Come on, Hwa and Joong are waiting in the car" Jiyeon said, putting her hand in Averys as they walked down the stairs towards the car.

"I got you some snacks! I know how much you love tteokboki chips and seaweed" Hoongjoong said, smiling as he usually would while handing Avery the snacks.

"Thank you so much Joong, it's been so long since i've had these, ahhh" They smiled a little while looking up at Jiyeon and Seonghwa, the pair had been together for a while now and were still holding each other dear, it was comforting for Avery to see their roommate happy, especially with how much shit they both went through before meeting these new people.

As time passed by, Avery was in the living room of Ateez dorm. Everyone had finished watching a movie, and everyone had went to their rooms to sleep, or atleast attempt to, meanwhile Jiyeon had packed Avery in a blanket and placed a pillow under their head.

*Riiiing*

"Hi it's Jiyeon" She didn't wanna wake Avery up so she forgot to look at the caller before accepting.

"Hi it's Chan, are you with them right now?" Chan sounded nervous.

"Yea I am, what exactly happened earlier?" Jiyeon asked.

As Chan explained what had happend they began talking about how he should make Avery forgive him, because yes they seemed more accepting of it than expected, but Avery was hurt, this was a thing they've had planned for long and Avery even cancelled the whole weekend to be with him instead of being at ythe school preparing for the littles.

"I took tomorrow off" Chan said.

"You did?? How do we get Avery out? You know how much they hate leaving so soon after a thing" Jiyeon said concerned.

"I'll try something, thank you Ji" Chan said as he hung up.

Jiyeon let a sigh out, taking a look at how peaceful Avery looked while sleeping, planting a kiss on top of their forehead and going back into Seonghwa's bed to sleep.

Bird's were heard chirping yet again through the open window near the kitchen, Avery looked up to see Wooyoung and Jiyeon making food for the rest, Jiyeon smiled a big smile at Avery, them returning the smile as much as possible, having a hard time opening their eyes.

"Come get some food before you hear Wooyoung yelling at the others" Jiyeon said, laughing a little at how they behaved in the dorm. Everyone was gathered and enjoying the delicious food that was prepped.

"It's sunday, why are you guys making us breakfast?" Questioned a very curious Mingi.

"Because I'm here and I have plans soom anyways so wanted to make something for everyone, Woo was up earlier than you guys and asked to help me" Jiyeon smiled, the boys all humming an mhhh.

Hours passed by and Avery was still kinda bummed, but better. Someone knocked on the door, San was quick to open it and welcome the guest inside, Avery not caring enough to see who it was before they heard footsteps and heavy breathing besides them, almost falling down the couch when they looked up to see Chan standing.

"Chan you scared the living shit out of me.. Why are you wet??? And what are you doing here??" Avery was confused, meanwhile Chan tried to catch his breath.

"I ran, some girls almost caught me and I had to be fast to be up here, and to answer your question, it's raining" He said.

"Also.. I took today off, I wanted to apologize to you properly but you didn't answer your phone and neither did Jiyeon when I tried calling her, then figuring out that she's a work, I first ran to your place but no one was there so this was the only thing that came to my mind" He said, now breathing properly.

"BUT YOU HAVE A SHOOTING TODAY, CHRISTOPHER BANG, THAT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ATTEND" Avery yelled, making Yunho look up at his phone.

"I'm sorry Avery, I really wanted to have a day with you, I moved it to tomorrow since I only need to work on a few songs tomorrow anyways" He said, taking his jacket off that was slowly soaking the couch, whispering a whoops.

"Ugh Chan.. I miss you" They said, Chan returning the words.

"Can you please just hug" Yunho said with a stern look on his face making both Avery and Chan incredibly confused.

They didn't take long to have each other in their arms though, Avery might still be a tiny bit upset but they can't ignore the fact that they missed these moments, the moments where their face would be deep inside the crook of his neck, feeling the warmth coming back to him after being in the pouring rain, it made them happy.

"Do you forgive me?" Chan asked Avery, slightly showing his dimples while holding their hands.

"Yes Channie, I forgive you" Avery said, making them both hug each other more than before, melting into each others arms,

Okay I just finished the ACOTAR series for the first time and I have so many thoughts so I'm gonna write them down.

Also I have not looked at any fan theories or been a part of this fandom very much so all these headcannons are straight from the noggin:

Literally what the fuck is tamlin doing.

Okay getting this out of the way cause its a hot topic. Azriel is my baby I love him but

I would have mixed feelings about him being with both gwyn and Elaine. I love the idea of Elaine being azriels sunshine he deserves light in his life (also their scene in ACOSF had me ejdjbdksks) but also all three bat boys being with all 3 sisters rubs me the wrong way idk.

Gwyn is amazing because she's a badass bitch and if azriel doesn't snatch that up I will. I feel like azriel almost gets bulldozed over by the other bat boys (like he will do the dirty work only because he feels inferior) And I want gwyn to help him stand up for himself.

Gwyn is an adult jfc. I'd be more worried about her trauma.

I am totally a elucien shipper I'm SORRY lucien deserves the world

But at the same time I would totally understand if Elaine couldn't forgive him for his involvement in the cauldron business. That shit was wack. I just want this relationship to be the biggest, most "period drama esqe" slowburn.

I have very mixed feelings about lucien. On one hand lucien has never had a home and when tamlin took him in I can see how that loyalty blurred the lines of right and wrong. But at the same time lucien messed up MANY times where the archeon sisters are concerned.

Nesta deserved her kick in the ass because it was needed. She did not deserve everyone to be a little bitch to her. It felt like feyre was the only one who wanted her rehabbed for nestas sake. I definitely would have preferred Nesta to hit rock bottom and choose recovery for herself (cause alcoholism and things can only be truly solved through self help) Everyone else was uncharacteristically nonempathetic. Idk how Cassian could be okay with her treatment after they mated.

I'm still digesting Rhys and nestas relationship. I like that they don't like each other for most of ACOSF. Nestas reasons for treating feyre poorly are valid, but not excuses. The feyre, Nesta, and rhys relationship thing is weird cause I see all sides. I need more feyre and Nesta bonding they always get interrupted.

I HATE what SJM did to Mors character. What the fuck is up with mor not liking Nesta. Maybe we will get an explanation in the next book but I feel like mor was set up to be a great LGBT character with himbo allies but SJM just dropped her off a cliff. Big mad.

However I do want eris and mor to end up together. Not necessarily romantically, but I want them to have it out and I want eris to support mor. Kinda want them to be mates. Kinda want eris to be gay as well. Kinda want them to get married and them have consorts.

WHY does everyone treat feyre like a porcelain doll when the IC has more collective trauma than anyone else in this universe. Don't get me wrong I'm all about the hurt/comfort but it was so inconsistently written LOL. When the IC was telling their stories the first night they met and then feyre told hers I cackled like sorry but she is a baby

Rhys's trauma is just as recent as feyres... yeah he's a lot older and seasoned but oh my GOD he was consistently assaulted for 49 years. Feyre does very little to comfort him. Idk I feel like it was SO glossed over.

Like in ACOWAR feyre admits that amaranthas hatred wasn't personal it was general, unlike Tamlins hatred. But amarantha and rhys had multiple personal vendettas against each other. Like his amarantha is vaguely feyres tamlin. Rhys didn't even get to kill amarantha. His trauma is untapped. Rhys is the main character feyre is the love interest idc

Idk what yall say rhys is my baby my lovebug my everything. He's got his flaws but you can't love Nesta and hate him at the same time without being a lil hypocritical

But he's fucked in the head for thinking he was justified in drugging feyre every night for 2 months. Almost more mad about that than the SA (I dont really blame Rhys since it is not cannon to me. SJM just messed up 😌 it was so out of character) did he ever really apologize for that??

ALSO I know smj wanted to write like #consentking but half of what he allowed was so unnecessarily dangerous (like the first AND second weaver encounter- if my SO ran off in the middle of a battle to track down a mysterious creature when the task could have been done after the battle I would have be livid. Mor was justified in being mad.)

I'm so mad rhys didn't flatten tamlin during the high lord meeting. Either it will happen in the future or I will burn these books.

THE BAT BOYS HAVE CONNONICALLY BEEN IN THE SAME ROOM WHILE HAVING SEX. the foursomes in my head gets clearer by the day

I HATE the fact that rhys almost had an existential crisis over feyre being so young when she found her mate and not having "lived" and THEN GETS HER PREGNANT??? Are you kidding me. I'm so mad. I don't wanna deal with babies. I hate babies.

But I DO have a fun headcannon that since the bone carver is a death-god or whatever he KNEW nyx wouldn't survive and that is why he appeared as him. Also when the bone carver offered to take feyres first born in exchange for help rather than the oroboughs I think that was also foreshadowing. The only reason nyx survived was because of Nesta and the bone carver had trouble seeing the cauldron.

((Maybe nyx should have died during the birth idk))

Literally I would have enjoyed ACOSF if instead of the pregnancy feyre was busy looking for bryaxis. Literally what happened to him. Wtf

I know the plot armor is crazy thick around the IC but it would have been nice if one of them died. Well, not nice, but more believable. Maybe thats why nyx should have died. Lol I need therapy.

FREAKING HEADCANNON: the archeon sisters are partially fae. Their mom was definitely a descendant and that's why all three sisters have mates. It was hinted that the sisters had mated because they were powerful and cauldron made but Cassian and rhys could feel the pull before the sisters were turned.

Tarquin is the hottest high lord

The whole blood rite thing was stupid. I would have loved if it was spread out over a longer period of time but it was so unrealistic

You know we all love a good #girlboss🤢 moment but the whole valkarie thing seemed 1. Out of no where 2. Really quickly forced (ACOSF should have been like 2 books) 3. If emerie and mor get together life=complete

The inner circle and ther archeon sisters would not get along if they weren't mated to like 50% of the gang

Okay I know this is a complicated subject but having LGBTs in a universe with mates based in evolutionary advantage seems more homophobic than having a universe without LGBTs LOL. Like their connection can't be as deep cause they can't procreate?? I did like that SJM made up for it a little by saying not all mates are complementary souls.

his father was a pub landlord and his mother worked at the market sellin fruit n veg when they met but got a job as a medical receptionist when she had kids cos it meant she cld be there with them in the day and work nights.

his parents met when they were p young and fiesty and rushed into marriage cos they were catholic n just wanted to have sex. his family were literally dirt-poor, but they had a lot of love i guess

hmmmmm his relationship w his father wasn’t the best cos i can’t write character who have healthy relationships w their parents throws up a peace sign. yh, had a pretty emotionally distant, alcoholic violent father n so gets a lot of his bad habits i.e. drinking as a coping mechanism and poor anger management from him BUT anyway

as a kid he was never very motivated in class, he always had a nervous itch to be off somewhere doing something else. struggled under government austerity bcso there just wasn’t the resources to support low income families where the kids had learning difficulties n needed support. fuck the tories am i right

his mum suggested he try sports to help w his restless energy but he was never any good at football so he took up boxing and tap dance instead. he took to tap dancing like a fish to fuckin water. as adhd n found this as a really good way to use his excess energy in a creative way

had a few run ins with the police in his early teens for spray painting and graffiti, but he straightened himself out n now actually considering becoming a detective inspector??? cops are pigs.

he had a youtube channel where he posted videos of him tapdancing and breakdancing as a kid, basically would be a tiktok boy nowadays, n had like... a small fanbase in his early teens. attended several open auditions unsuccessfully, until he was finally cast in billy eliot when he was fifteen.

during billy eliot he began dating an italian dancer called nina. they became dance partners soon after and toured across the republic with various different shows (inc riverdance lol the classic irish stereotype). their relationship was p toxic tbh, they were both very hot tempered people and just used to argue and fight all the time.

he went semi-pro at tap dancing, and nina couldn’t stand being second best so she moved back to italy with her family. ignored his texts, phone calls, etc, eventually he was driven to the point where he used his savings to buy a plane ticket, showed up at her house and she was like wtf?? freaked out and filed a restraining order accusing him of stalking.

he was fined for harassment and then returned home to derry, but after the incident with nina he quit dancing for good and finished his leaving cert before heading to university in the US to get as far away from nina and his past life as poss. and basically since he quit dancing to study forensics (death kink. finn cant get enough of that morgue. just walks around sayin beat u) he’s become a massive grump and jsut doesn’t see the good in people any more.

u’ll find finn in an old man bar drinking whiskey bc he is in fact an old man at heart or sat on his roof smoking a joint, drawing wolves and lions and skeletons and shit, playing call of duty or getting blazed or at the corner of the room in a house party ignoring everyone and scrolling through twitter. is a massive e-boy. always up-to-date on memes and internet slang. has reddit as an app on his phone

not very good at communication. rather than solve his issues by talking, he’d prefer to just solve them through fighting or running away from his problems hence why he has come halfway across the world to get away from an issue which probs cld have been solved w a few apology emails.

takes a lot to phase him, but when his beserk button gets pressed he can become a bit pugnacious like an angry lil rottweiler. in his undergrad he was in a few fist fights but doesn’t really do tht any more as he doesn’t condone violence.

born in quigley’s pub on the backstreets of sunny dublin, young finnegan o'callaghan was thrown kicking and screaming into the rowdy suburbs of irish drinking culture. the son of a landlord and a fishwife, he never had much in the way of earnings, but there was never a dull moment in his lively estate, where asbo’s thrived, but community spirit conquered. at school, finn was pegged as lazy and unmotivated, though truly his dyslexia made it hard for the boy to learn in the same environment of his peers and only made him more closed-off in class. struggling with anger management, finn moved from school to school, unable to fit the cookie-cutter mould that school enforced on him, though whilst academic studies were of little interest to the boy, he soon found his true passions lay in recreational activities. immersed into the joys of sport from as young as four, finn was an ardent munster fan and anticipated nothing more than the day he could finally fit into his brother’s old pair of rugby boots.

his calling finally came unexpectedly, not in the form of rugger, but through dance. to learn to express himself in a non-academic way, he began tap dancing, finding therapy in the beat of his soles against the cracked kitchen tiles (much to his mother’s disgrace). it wasn’t a conscious choice, finn just realised one day that dance was something that made him feel. a king of the streets, finn made his fortune on those cobbled pavements – dancing and drawing to earn his keep. by default, finn became a street artist, each penny he earned from his chalk drawings saved in a jam jar towards buying his first pair of tap shoes. though many of his less-than-amiable neighbours called him a nancy and a gaybo, finn refused to quit at his somewhat ‘unconventional’ hobby, for the young scrapper found energy, life, and released anger through the rhythm of tap. soon he branched out into street dance, hip hop, break dancing, lyrical, his days spent smacking his scuffed feet against the broken patio into the night.

when he was thirteen he took up boxing, and as expected, his newfound ‘macho’ pastime conflicted with his dancing. the boxers called him ‘soft’; the dancers called him ‘inelegant’. he felt like two different people; having to choose between interests was like being handed a knife and asked to which half of himself he wished to cut away. he couldn’t afford professional training in dance, with most schools based in england and limited scholarships available. instead, he made the street his studio, racking up a small fanbase on youtube. when he was fifteen he made his debut in billy eliot at the olympia theatre in dublin. enter nina de souza, talented, beautiful and italian; ballet dancer, operatic singer, genius whiz kid, and spoiled brat. she was selfish, conceited, hell bent on getting her own way, and every director’s nightmare. finn fell for her like a house of cards. he’d always had a soft spot for girls who meant trouble. and so their hellish courtship began.

by the time they were seventeen, the two young swans had danced in every playhouse across the republic. they were known in theatres across the country for their tempestuous personalities, their raging arguments with one another, their tendency to drop out of shows altogether without any notice, yet the money kept rolling in and the audiences continued to grow. for three years, their families continued to put up with their hysterical fights followed by passionate reconciliations. he was too possessive, and she was too wild. their carcrash of a relationship finally came to a catastrophic halt when nina broke off the whole affair and returned to italy with her family. for months finn tried to contact her, yet his phone calls, texts, facebook messages were always ignored, until finally he was driven to drastic measures and used his savings to get a plane to her home town. when finn turned up uninvited at nina’s house she freaked out – and rightly so – she contacted her agent, accused him of stalking her, and had a restraining order placed against him. finn was arrested, held in a station overnight, and charged with harassment before he was allowed to return to dublin.

after the incident with nina, finn lost the fight in his eyes. he became far more hostile, far less likely to retaliate with his own fists, and picked fights not for the thrill of feeling his own fists pummel another into a wall, but for the sensation of his own brittle bones cracking. he dropped his tap shoes in a dumpster, stopped talking to his friends, followed his father’s advice and went back to school to complete his leaving certificate. a few short months later, and finn was packing his bags, saying his bittersweet goodbyes, and travelling half-way across the globe to be as far away as possible from his past self, his mess of a life, and most of all nina. it seemed somehow ironic that the boy who had been cautioned by the garda so much during his youth for spray painting, busking without a liscence, and raucous parties would become the grumpy, aloof overseas student studying a degree in criminology; that his once reckless spirit could be crushed so easily.

of all things that finn could be called, straightforward would never be one of them. ever since his first days in atticus, the boy was pegged as hostile, hot-headed, cynical, rude. he seemed to spend more time in his thoughts than engaging in conversation. like a ticking time-bomb, finn’s anger was of the calm kind, liable to explode without a moment’s noticed. his unpredictable personality make him something of an enigma to those who aren’t amiable with the lad, though hostile as he may appear, he harvests a good heart. loyalty lies at the centre of his affections, and whilst his friends are few in number, he makes a lifelong partner. somewhere within finn, there’s still some fight left, but mostly he has recognised that his hedonistic lifestyle did little to leave him fulfilled – mostly, it just emptied him out – and over his three years at university has resigned himself to a nihilistic predicament.

listen, the contrast in this relationship. the balance that contrast brings. i’m living for it.

you’re the bubbly & friendly to leo’s calm & somber. i think you two just have such so much to offer each other?
