Was rereading the taken au fic and I got to the point where Nezha was thinking about how of it wasn't him tasked with getting rid of one of the twins the celestial that did so would definitely have killed the baby monkey and now I can't stop thinking about an au where Nezha was either unavailable or kept away because of his connection to wukong and now shadowpeach comes home to only one living baby and how hard it would be for them cuz like how do you explain to your son that the reason they always feel empty is because your twin was killed (probably in front of you even if you don't remember it)
Tumblr media
Goshhhhhh that would be so tragic ;-;
The worst part would be, if they killed MK... Xiaohua would not survive either. So the concept of them coming home to one of their children being killed, and then barely a few hours later, the remaining child just can't hold out and succumb to death too..??
It would break them.
And the seals would sense anyone else. They chose Nezha because the seals wouldn't alarm Wukong to his presence. The seals would know WHOEVER else was there, so they would know it was someone from the Celestial Court.
They would know who to put their Rage to. Who to seek vengeance from.
The "Treaty" would mean nothing to them anymore. They would destroy the entire Celestial Realm.

warning: angst, death, blood, accident, car crash
the bell rang loudly, indicating the end of classes. the students rushed out of their classrooms, teachers left standing with their unfinished discussions.
y/n walked to a certain classroom before stopping by and peeked at the window. her eyes landing on the raven-haired girl who was sitting alone in her desk, earphones on and eyes glued on her thick book. y/n chuckled and entered the room, unnoticed by the raven girl.
with a gentle tap on the shoulder, the girl finally looked up and saw y/n. her eyes widened and met the soft gaze of y/n. a wide smile plastered on both faces.
"were you planning on spending your time studying instead of taking your girlfriend out on a date?" y/n teasingly asks as she helps the girl pack her stuff.
the two walked out of the school, hands intertwined, giving warmth to each other in the cold autumn air. y/n looks at her girlfriend who then looked at her noticing the former's eyes on her.
"where do you plan on taking me ms. yu?" karina giggled at the formal name.
"well, i was planning on taking you to that cat cafe ms. l/n" y/n's eyes went wide as an excited squeal came out of her mouth, causing karina to smile widely at her reaction.
as the two arrived at the said cafe, y/n couldn't stop smiling and cooing at the fluffy cats that calmly roamed around the place. karina's heart warmed at the sight and took many photos of y/n who was too busy mingling with the cats to notice her girlfriend taking photos of her.
after what seemed like an hour of interacting with cats, y/n finally sat down in a table with karina. the two enjoyed a hot chocolate drink whilst talking about their day. a normal date, nothing too lavish, just them enjoying each other's company.
when the time came to leave the cafe, y/n almost cried and begged karina another hour in the cafe but failed anyways. karina had to drag a sad y/n away from the cafe.
"you'll see the darn cats again soon! we can't be there for too long!" karina said as she drags her pouting girlfriend.
the two landed on an arcade and decided to spend a good amount of their allowance over a rigged claw machine.
y/n held her eyes on a cat plushie with determination and focus as her hands skillfully operated the claw to the hole but whenever it neared it, the claw seemed to loosen, causing the plushie to fall again. this evoked a groan from y/n who shoved her hand in her pocket to fish some coins only to find it empty. she groaned once more and leaned her forehead against the glass in defeat. eyes locked in on the cat plushie.
karina had just returned from being a victim of the claw machine and saw her girlfriend looking like a lost puppy. she approached her and the two looked at each other with the same defeated look.
"let's not come back here again." y/n said receiving a nod of approval from karina.
the two exited the arcade and karina automatically held y/n's hand that perfectly fit to hers. as if they were made for each other.
the two wandered for awhile before karina stopped walking causing y/n to stop too and look at her girlfriend with a confused look. karina shot her a smile causing the latter to smile too.
"what's on your mind, pretty girl?" y/n asked.
"how does ice cream and a walk in the park sound like?" y/n's face beamed at the idea and her heart fluttered like how it did on their first date as a couple.
"wonderful."
with ice cream on one hand and the other holding each others, the couple strolled in the park, enjoying the autumn air, basking in the sound of people enjoying their time. y/n looked at her girlfriend and her heart swelled with love that she felt like it would explode any second.
"thank you, karina."
karina looked at y/n, a warm smile forming on her lips. the very smile that made y/n fall for the woman.
"no, thank you, y/n." karina paused and held y/n's hand.
"because of you...i learned that there is more than just studying and for giving me a warmth that i could only find in you. you complete me." karina said, whispering the last sentence.
y/n teared up. her heart filled with so much love that she couldn't help the tears welling in her eyes. karina mirrored her expression and pulled the woman closer to engulf her in a tight and the most secure hug ever.
as they pulled away, y/n lightly slapped karina's arm- causing the latter to laugh softly.
"yah! what's with you making me cry today huh?" y/n asked, voice cracking from sobbing earlier.
"i just love you so much." karina simply said.
the two sat on a bench, watching as the sun set and the moon emerging from its hiding. y/n tugged at the woman beside her, gaining her attention.
"it's getting late, we should return. you have to study, remember?" y/n reminded.
karina nodded and they made their way out of the park. as they both walk in a comfortable silence. karina stopped in her tracks, making y/n stop too.
"why? what's wrong?" she asks.
karina looks at her, her eyes soft yet held something else. something sad.
"there's one more place that we have to go." y/n looks at her in confusion and opened her mouth to protest but with the look on karina's face, she nodded.
she followed as the raven beauty lead her to an unknown alley she hadn't passed through. as scary as the place was, she has full trust on the woman before her.
karina stopped at a light shop, igniting a confused look in y/n before chuckling.
"did your light bulbs in your house die or something?" y/n asked at the woman who had her back at her.
karina sighed heavily and turned around to face y/n who's smile slowly faded upon seeing karina's solemn expression. the latter forced a smile before beckoning y/n to enter the shop.
they did and y/n winced as she was greeted by the bright lights. her eyes slowly adjusted to the brightness and was slightly amazed at the various types of light bulbs displayed in the shop.
"may i help you two?" the sound of a man's voice caught the attention of the two. y/n looked at the man in the cashier desk and bowed in greeting.
"oh, hello. we're here--"
"y/n, find the light that glows when you go near it."
karina cuts her off and looked at the lights in the shop. y/n nervously laughs at the sudden serious demeanor of her girlfriend. flashing an apologetic smile at the man, y/n wandered around the shop, looking for the light that karina requested. what does she mean by a lightbulb that glows when she's near? she wondered.
karina looks at the man, wearing a sunglasses, understandably from how bright the shop is with all the lightbulbs. the man seemingly understood karinas intentions and sat back on his chair, proceeding with his work.
she looks around and spots two desk lamps. one turned on and the other, off.
"y/n, i think i found it." footsteps softly neared karina's and y/n looks at the two desk lamps that karina was eyeing.
"you want to replace your desk lamp?" y/n asked yet karina said no response.
having enough of karina's sudden seriousness, y/n faced her girlfriend.
"baby, what's wrong? did i say something that hurt you? why are you suddenly acting like this? it's scaring me." y/n said, holding back the tears that are starting to well in her eyes.
karina looked at her in the eyes before tears welled up in hers as well. she held y/n's face, tears falling and sobs escaping her mouth. y/n immediately hugged her and rubbed karina's back in attempts to comfort her.
"why- why are you crying suddenly?" y/n asked, voice breaking as she's starting to cry too.
when karina pulled away, y/n gasped and stepped back when she saw blood dripping from her head. y/n stuttered in forming words until it all came to her.
the accident. the bus crash. the nonstop rain.
.
.
.
"karina! wait for me! you'll get wet!"
y/n screamed as she chased the raven woman in the rain, laughter emitting from their smiles. the two shared an umbrella in the hard rain after being dismissed from their night study in the school. under the protection of the waiting shed, the girls waited patiently for the last bus as they teased each other to pass the time.
the bus finally arrived and the two got on. however, karina couldn't shake the feeling of dread that she got as soon as they rode the bus. she tried telling y/n about it but the latter shrugged it off and told her that it was just the anxiety of the upcoming exams taking over her tired system.
throughout the ride, karina held tightly on y/n's hand- yelping whenever the bus would bounce a little from passing a hump. y/n did her best to comfort the woman beside her by giving her reassurance with her tight grip on her hand.
when the bus reached the bridge, karina couldn't sit still. her knee was bouncing up and known and y/n noticed this. she whispered assuring words to her girlfriend when a loud pop caused them and the other passengers to jump in surprise. after this, the bus began to shake as the driver stepped hard on the break pedal yet it only worsened the situation when another loud pop boomed in the ears of the passengers. followed by the uncontrollable swerving of the bus.
y/n held karina tightly against her, her chin resting gently atop karina’s head as she spooned her, offering a fragile sense of comfort. without warning, the bus lurched violently, slamming into the guardrail. for a heartbeat, time seemed to freeze, and then, with a deafening roar, the bus broke through the barrier, tumbling into the abyss. the cold, dark waters below swallowed everything in an instant, drowning the screams and leaving nothing but the haunting silence of the crash.
y/n gasped, jolting out of the tragic memory of the crash, her eyes locking onto the bloodied karina before her. karina was crying uncontrollably, her grip on y/n growing cold, slipping away with each passing second.
"y/n, please wake up. you have to!" she sobbed, her voice cracking with desperation.
y/n shook her head, tears streaming down her face as she sobbed harder, her heart aching as the reality of their situation hit her like a wave. she couldn’t bear it. she couldn’t lose her. she pulled karina into a tight embrace, clinging to her as if her life depended on it.
"no, no, no, i won’t leave you! we’ll wake up together! we promised to grow old and have cats! you promised, karina!" her voice trembled, filled with raw emotion, as she held onto the last shred of hope.
karina pulled away, her hands trembling as she guided y/n closer to the desk lamp. but y/n protested, shaking her head fiercely, her body wracked with sobs that she could no longer control. each cry felt like it tore her apart, but no words came—only desperate, guttural sounds of helplessness.
karina’s voice cracked, the tears streaming down her face as she pleaded, her grip on y/n tightening. "please, y/n! do it for me, please! you have to wake up!"
y/n’s eyes were wide with fear and sorrow, her heart heavy with an unbearable weight. she shook her head again, her breath hitching as the cries continued, her body shaking, but the words that once could have comforted them both seemed impossible to find.
karina held y/n's face in her bloodied hands and brought their faces close. their tear-filled eyes looking at each other with pain, love, and fear.
"please....y/n...live for me" karina whispered desperately. her forehead leaning against y/n's as she lets out a shaky breath.
"we promised..." y/n managed to whisper, her voice barely audible as the weight of their unspoken words hung heavy in the air. karina nodded, her eyes brimming with tears, her teeth sinking into her lip to keep from crying out. but it was impossible, and a guttural, heart-wrenching sob tore from her throat.
"i'm sorry... i'm sorry... i'm sorr—" karina's words were drowned by y/n, who suddenly crashed their lips together in a desperate, all-consuming kiss. it was long and agonizing, filled with pain and love, the kind of kiss that carried all the things they could no longer say. when they finally pulled apart, breathless and shaken, the silence between them spoke louder than any words could.
y/n pulled away from karina, her heart heavy as she gave her one last look. the sight of karina—their early days together—flashed through y/n’s mind, moments filled with laughter, tenderness, and unspoken promises as her tears blurred her vision.
with a final, shaky breath, y/n turned towards the man in sunglasses, his face unreadable, his gaze fixed on her with an unsettling calmness like he already knew the path she was about to take.
"let us not meet each other again." the man said.
y/n looked at the desk lamp and touched the bulb. a blinding light flashed suddenly, making karina wince and turn away, her hands instinctively covering her eyes as the intensity of the light stung her vision.
when the light faded out, karina looked at where y/n formerly stood and let her tears fall uncontrollably. she closed her eyes, letting the tears fall before sighing heavily. she looked at the man and bowed slightly.
"be careful on your journey." the man said.
karina nodded and exited the shop, walking through the dark path and disappearing into the fog as she ventures further.
the nurses rushed to a patient's bed as the machine beeped, the doctor checking her vitals. one nurse noticed the movement of the patient's eyes and the slight twitch of her fingers. she called the attention of the doctor who felt relieved at the news. soon, tears came out of the patient's eyes and rolled down.
"that's good news." the doctor said.
soon, the patient's eyes opened.
"ring y/n l/n's family and tell them that she's conscious." the doctor said and one nurse nodded and rushed to the phone.
the doctor stepped aside as the nurses assisted the patient, a sad look in his eyes. one nurse, a senior, stood beside him and sighed.
"poor kid, she's gonna be in so much pain when she's fully awake." said the nurse. the doctor looked at her and sighed.
"no one talks about yu karina until she's well enough to handle stress. right now, that name is forbidden." the nurse nodded.
"how ironic, she's the one being protected yet didn't make it." the man sighed and looked at the conscious figure of y/n.
"that's how unfair life is."

well tumblr user @angrybirdofficial , the "Vees broadcast as many of Vaggie's Sinner kills as they have recordings of to damage hell's trust of the Hazbin Hotel" au is pretty much the ONLY scenario i can think of where Vaggie might try breaking up with Charlie
damage control, you know? Or that's what she'd say anyway, while trying to leave the relative safety of the hotel so it doesn't get torn down with her too
and this is also the only way I can imagine Chaggie ending up in an actual serious physical fight with each other (as Charlie goes full horns and hellfire to stop her very out of it guilt-stricken currently ex-girlfriend from walking recklessly out into a murderous mob that wants her triple ultra forever dead and knows how to do it)
i also feel like at the end when Vox finally runs out of Sinner's deaths to air and is about to announce Vaggie final total known kill count on live air, Charlie would probably break into the studio (literally. through the wall) (riding dragon Razzle) and remind Vox that Sinners AREN'T the only ones Vaggie's killed, so he HASN'T actually shown her full headcount. And with the burning ice-cold rage of the princess of hell looming over him Vox has to start airing Vaggie's kills during the hotel battle too, which includes showing her jumping into danger and risking herself to protect not only Charlie but also the other Hazbins and even any nearby cannibals- not to mention hammering home the fact that she's full on KILLED other angels easily without hesitation and every exorcist that got close to her tried very hard to return the favor. And failed. Which kinda throws mud in eye of the conspiracy theories that Vaggie is secretly working for heaven or hates Sinners and wants to lure them into the hotel to torture and kill them or whatever.
end result: hell in general doesn't like or trust or forgive Vaggie, but they do see that she IS useful in protecting them from heaven, and she's ALSO very good at killing people who are armed and dangerous and not just running away screaming. She's kinda terrifying
This, plus Charlie, puts a damper on ye average Sinner's urge to try murdering her
for now :)

Pull Through
Randy Meeks x gender-neutral-Reader
Warnings ➛: Angst/Mentions of gore/ that's all, really. It's angst. Cry about it(wink wink).
(⑅⎚=⎚)Author's note: This is old as hell and I pasted it from my Wattpad.
Don't you regret being so stubborn? Don't you wish you hadn't been saved?
Tumblr media
You sat in the beige leather chair of the cold hospital room, the eerie sound or heart monitor beeping at a slow but subtle pace as Randy laid there, an IV sticking through his arm and oxygen tubes in his nose.
You reached out with slight hesitation, grabbing his hand. It was cold, and somewhat grainy. Like he hadn't moisturized recently. You rubbed your thumb across his palm repeatedly.
He'd been stabbed over ten times, and the doctor stated that he more than likely wouldn't pull through. You prayed he would make it, begging silently that Randy wouldn't be taken away from you.
You looked at his face. His eyes were closed, lips slightly ajar. God, you could just kiss him. Why... why'd he have to be a hero? Why did he sacrifice himself ro save you?
"Why didn't I listen?" You thought to yourself. Randy warned you countless times. He warned you not to drink, not to party, not to answer the phone.
But it was your way or the highway. Now Randy's got a good chance of being on the highway to heaven.
"It's not fair that he had to pay for my mistakes." Your grip on his hand tightened. A single tear fell down your face. It felt soooo warm. That tear felt like a blanket to you after being that damned hospital room for so long with no jacket.
It reminded you of a subtle, but meaningful memory of you and Randy.
As you sat on the couch together, Randy put a piece of popcorn in his mouth, a scratching his goatee. "That guy is toootally the killer. I mean, look at those shoes." He rolled his eyes.
"What's wrong with them? I think they're cute." You defended the man kn the screen. "Pfft. You think Harry Warden is cute." Randy scoffed. Randy noticed the goosebumps on your skin, pulling you in close to him,  your sides touching with warmth. "What are you doing?" You asked, looking up at him.
"You looked cold. I'm trying to warm you up." He answered, sticking a warm, buttery piece of popcorn in your mouth. You couldn't deny how good it felt.
"Why didn't you just turn on the heat?" You questioned. "Because," He stuffs half a handful in your mouth "It gives me a reason to cuddle with you." He said quite forwardly. It caught you off guard to say the least, but your mouth was full of popcorn, and by time you'd swallowed all of it, it seemed to late to respond.
The memory simmers in your head, replaying like a VHS. It made you feel bad in a way. The fact that Randy felt the need to have an excuse cuddle you. You knew how much he liked you, but you always teased him about it and friendzoned him whenever the chance was given, in which he would never complain.
Now, here he is. Dying in order to save your life. The waves of guilt rushed through your body, and more of those thick, warm tears of guilt ran down your face.
You never believed him when he set all these rules. You always thought something like this could never happen to you, and yet, it did. Like some sort of reality check to inform you that bad things could happen to anybody.
And it made you think. If such a terrible attack could take place, then there's nothing to say that Randy would pull through. That he would survive this. You didn't like the thought, but you couldn't shake it.
You lay your head gently on Randy's chest, his natural scent coursing through your nose. He smelled so...Randy. a smell you can't describe, but you loved it.
"I'm so sorry, Randy..." the words slowly turning from a whisper to whimper, followed by pitched sobs. "I'm so sorry. Please, don't go." You sniffled, wrapping your arms around him as his slow, hollow breathing continued.
"Please, don't leave me." You begged him as the tears flowed down your face, no longer warm and comforting, but wet and cold.
"I promise I'll listen. I'll be good." You sounded like a child begging for some sort of treat.
"It's okay,.....you gotta lose a game every once and a while to get good at it." His voice was weak, but soothing. Like a hug. Randy couldn't hug you in this state, so you were willing to settle for the hug.
You sat up quickly, planting kiss on the corner of Randy's lips, letting a tear transfer from your face to his mouth. You wiped it off with your thumb, hugging him gently as to not agitate his wounds.
"This gives me an excuse to cuddle you..." you chuckled, sniffling a little.
"You... don't need an excuse.... I'd give you every hug I have left and... you don't even have to ask for it." He tries to speak through the pain.
"Don't talk Randy. Just rest. I promise, when you get out of here, I'll hug you every hour, every minute, every second I see you. I love you, Randy." You sniffled, holding on to him as his body progressively got warmer.
"I love you too, ☆☆☆." You could swear Randy was about to cry if he had the strength.

Tumblr media
The ocean was full of mysteries and secrets that no one has, nor should ever be discovered… the big body of water that was so beautiful yet so terrifying.
You, a regular Victorian girl who enjoyed reading novels under the big tree which sat next to a normal river, finding joy in being able to put yourself into the characters that you read in the book. Feeling as if you were the main character, growing a connection with those around you.
“Y/n, you tend to isolate yourself too much dear… wouldn't you like to spend more time with us? Your family?” Your mother found herself asking, looking directly at you as if she expected you to answer enthusiastically.
Truthfully, no. You were fine being alone and it was when you felt at your best. Being alone in the comfort of your books and imagination.
“If I'm being honest, mother, I do not think that being alone is a burden, as I quite enjoy the silence of going into the forest alone.”
Your mother and sister stared at you, unknowing of what to respond with. You hated the look of pity that they showed towards you, as if enjoying the company of one's self was something that should be looked down upon. The opinion of those older could never be the same as someone younger. The mind was simply at different levels of development, causing disagreements between the two quite regularly.
Looking around at the family who sat around the table, picking yourself up from the chair and grabbing your book from your lap to prevent it from falling.
“I believe I have some important manners to take care of…” you completed, beginning to make your way out of the dining room.
“Y/n, before you go you must be aware of something.” Your dad spoke, catching your attention and causing you to turn around to face him.
“What's wrong?” You responded, somewhat intrigued.
“Because me and your mother have been speaking about a better career opportunity for our company. I wanted to make you aware that next month we'll be moving over to a different town. Not far at most.”
You despised moving… however this time, it would be near an ocean. Meaning you would be capable of observing the same water that your current book, ‘A Hidden Atlantis’ was referencing. The same town and ocean that had been where the novel had taken place.
A Hidden Atlantis was a one of a kind book, you'd truthfully never read anything like it before. The topic of humanoid creatures whose legs resembled that of a fish was always interesting to you.
Something like that could never exist in the real world… could it?
It would only ever be real in paintings, books and imagination. It's place was not the real ocean that was full of mysterious creatures.
However… in the low chance possibility that something like a half human half fish existed. It'd be so beautiful yet terrifying. The same way its habitat was.
Your obsession with these types of mythical chapter books started when you found a ring on the floor of your new (now old) house. You were young, so the red ruby that sat brightly inside the ring wasn't something that appeared valuable to you, it was only ever stunning.
You kept it, never sold it for money… even though it would probably be worth a fortune. You always felt some sort of odd connection to it, causing you to never be capable of selling it. It was too special for you, despite the mystery that could've been a curse that attracted you to it and it's red gem
___
They told you to stay inside, but you found a way out nevertheless. They were silly if they didn't know you well enough to see it coming.
This was the very ocean right outside of your new home. The very ocean that the book described, it was right in front of you along with the same town and streets that the book’s main character walked on before in the history of the novel.
Sirens didn't exist, but maybe you could catch a glimpse of something that slightly resembled that of the mythical creature throughout your stay. It would make sense wouldn't it? Possibly if you were a believer.. but unfortunately you weren't.
Even so, you still enthusiastically made your way to the sandy beach located right under the cliff which your house sat over, finding a comfortable rock to sit on as you opened your book and lit up a candle
The young girl, Sharon left everything behind. From her friends and belongings to her town, all due to financial struggles between her parents. However the kind girl looked at things in another light, becoming understanding of her parents' situation and avoiding internal conflicts between herself and her family.
She took out the box which carried the old jewel inside. Seeing the gem glow bright red, reflecting off the same color as that of her eyes. Staring into the piece made her confident in the color of red, it was a beautiful color that many people associated with the wrong things. It was a treasure, and it made her feel the same connection and reassurance that she had felt since the start… since the first ever day she laid eyes on the ring.
She slipped the ring onto her hand, feeling the jewel slide off of her small fingers. However, she kept it on as she made her way to the dark waters that almost felt as if they awaited her.
She walked the path down the forest, catching a glimpse of the bright moon illuminating the cold ocean. It looked beautiful, almost magical as she walked near. Sitting on a rock and brushing her feet against the water, feeling as if it had been bringing her skin smoothness and youth.
“Beautiful night,” The young girl found herself whispering, as she looked far up into the distance to see the figure of a sunken ship, located right behind a chapped rock.
It’s boards and wood sinking down and dissolving into the water as it overflowed.
The news of the sinking ship was everywhere:
“Ship sank under unidentified circumstances.”
“Ship mysteriously begins sinking in the middle of the sea.”
“An unidentified ship reappears on the shores of...”
It was all over the newspapers, disaster would always be destined to happen.
The light of the fire which illuminated the candle flicker off, the strong winds didn't allow it to keep the fire. It was time to head back home and continue reading inside your room, where the wind couldn't get to you despite your delicate windows. It seemed as if a storm was approaching.
You smiled looking up and at the direct spot that the book described, not spotting a single sunken ship. Even if it was there at one point in history, the likelihood that it was actually the fault of a group of sirens and their enchanting voices and illusions was little to none.
As much as you wanted to believe, you knew something like that could only stay in your imagination. The same way dragons and vampires did. They could never exist in the real world, it would just be too dangerous.
Picking yourself up from the rock, you carefully climbed your way down and allowed the light from your barely lit candle to lead you back.
This ocean was close enough to your house that you were able to see the lights turned on in specific rooms. Best get going now if you hoped to not get caught sneaking out like you were strictly told not to.
Walking on the light sand before feeling your shoe step on something hard…
A rock maybe?
You tilted your head to look below you, bending your knees to get a better look at the object.
It was a ring… a blue diamond ring, washed away on the shore of the ocean. It must've been left behind by some tourist or someone who happened to be traveling the water’s. And really you didn't care to find out, as it was left behind and far too valuable to ignore.
You'd simply treasure it. The same way you did with the red ruby ring that you found in your old house when moving in.
“Y/n!” A young boy called out, running over to hug you tightly, almost as if you hadn't seen each other in a long time.
Turning around, you came face to face with a pretty young boy, beautiful cat shaped eyes that glowed as brightly as the day.
“Jungwon? What are you doing here..!?”
He smiled brightly and picked out a bright yellow dandelion from the grass, gently shoving your hair behind your ear and placing it right in between.
“I came to say hello to a friend,” He responded enthusiastically.
You shook your head and looked up, happier than ever.
“I understand but shouldn't you be with a doctor!?” You questioned to which he responded with a giggle and smirked at you.
“They told me that I should be outside a lot and have fun! So I'm following their instructions!”
Face palming yourself, you looked back up softly and picked up a bright yellow dandelion, mimicking his acts and placing it on his hair right above his ear.
He kept his gaze fixed on you, that was until you picked yourself up from the ground and began running around in the small garden right in front of a noble looking home.
Being a kid himself, he followed and chased you across the garden.
You looked happy… excited… like children…
Finally, your brain snapped back to reality.
“What the hell was that…?” You muttered to yourself, being unable to comprehend the vision that gave you more than just deja vu.
You looked into the dark and gloomy ocean, spotting a figure of a young man looking in your direction. His bright brown eyes which seemed to illuminate more than the moon pierced straight through your soul in an almost terrifying manner.
Shaking your head and rubbing your eyes… you convinced yourself to be seeing things.
You looked back in a panic and there was nothing… no figure… no eyes… simply nothing..
“Of course… I must be lacking sleep…” you managed to stutter, snapping back up to your senses and running back home. After all, not getting caught was your main priority right now.
***
And so the kind girl Sharon ran back home, stumbling upon an object which appeared to be a gem, closely resembling that of her own. The young girl picked up the ring and placed it in her pocket, she couldn't just leave it behind. She'd collect it.
Upon looking into the distance, she found herself staring directly into the eyes of a creature in the ocean.
Her kind heart forced her to yell, “Are you alright dear sailor, do you need assistance?”
However, she received no response…
Chills ran down her spine as he stared at her intensely, not even blinking once throughout the entire process… Sharon, upon feeling uneasy decided to run and make someone aware along the way of a possible sailor that could've been in danger.
Little did she know that she had stared into the eyes of that of the most dangerous…
All because she touched what was his… and you should never touch anything that belongs to a siren…
____
“Jungwon. For dear god’s sake, why are we doing this?”
Jungwon turned around once again and sighed, “For the 100th thousand millionth time, it's because that young lady took my ring. So I'm returning for it.”
“Indeed but this is a bother. Someone's going to find out one way or another and we'll be dead… Why can't we return to the shore and find you another identical ring? There's plenty in the ocean-”
He froze mid sentence upon seeing the eyes of his little brother staring at him. Despite being older, Jungwon intimidated him and he couldn't deny it. Jungwon’s strong point was his eyes and he fully took advantage of that.
“Jake- if you would like to return you can always do so… I didn't need you to come either way-” Jungwon managed to mutter softly.
Jake frowned, “I'll stay with you. I don't want you out here in the human world alone with absolutely no one supervising you.”
Jungwon smiled and nodded, “Alright then, let's make this fast.”
Jake followed his little brother. He had always doubted the connection that Jungwon claimed to have with his ring up until now; more like up until a year ago. Whereas Jungwon dropped his ring while traveling in the oceans at night and was somehow able to find it immediately after he noticed. Retracing his steps and locating the small object in the depths of the massive ocean. Jake was sure that he had a tracker on that thing because that would've been otherwise impossible.
And right now was no exception, in fact it was only convincing Jake furthermore that there must've been a hidden tracker somewhere within the tiny corners of that small ring.
Jake’s frown only turned into an annoyed stare as he watched Jungwon get ahead of himself, leading them to who the heck knew where. “Do you even know what she looked like?”
Jungwon shook his head, still keeping his gaze forward, “Absolutely not.”
Jake sighed, “Why did I expect that… with that keen eyesight of yours I really would've expected you to at least see her hair color.”
“It was dark hyung-” Jungwon completed, noticing Jake nod in agreement.
“I know but for some reason you can spot everything about a person at night except for the thief of your ring… and what if she sold it already?”
Jungwon sighed and shook his head, “I’d rather not think about it but in that case scenario then we'd have to purchase it again-”
Jake stared at Jungwon, “You can't be serious.”
Jungwon turned around, “Should I rephrase that? I'd rather say- I'd have to purchase it again.”
“There's dozens of trade shops on land- how are you gonna locate the exact one!?” Jake asked, almost yelling to which Jungwon backed away nervously and blinked a couple of times before answering.
“I'll find it, don't worry.”
Jake was upset but he wanted to support his brother. That ring was special to Jungwon ever since infancy and he didn't want to say anything rude or careless, let alone both.
“By the way, lower your voice because other people are going to hear you and will suspect us. You're going to throw us both under the bus with your yelling-”
Jake bowed to his little brother and apologized repeatedly, “I'm sorry, it's a little complicated to contain my emotions to a certain volume.”
Jungwon shook his head in denial. “It’d be quite alright if you hadn’t told me earlier that being on land was far too risky. I know just as much as you do so you have to keep in mind that one wrong move could land in us having our heads chopped off,” he expressed, to which Jake simply put his palm up to his forehead.
“Don’t even mention it.”
Suddenly, Jake crashed into a woman who had been walking the same streets they had been, maybe around her early 20’s. Despite the cloak that had been covering her face she looked quite beautiful. Long hair neatly put up in a ponytail and perfectly arranged across her shoulder.
“Oh, I beg your pardon as I was distracted-” Jake stuttered out nervously, noticing her turn around and bow in apology.
Jungwon’s gaze swiftly shifted onto her eyes, his alert up high.
“I apologize- I was a little careless myself.” You chuckled. Jake froze in silence, ultimately overcome by the beauty that he never knew could belong to a human.
Jungwon smiled, “I excuse my older brother- nevertheless what is such a beautiful young woman doing around here alone? Not to mention you yourself look quite of noble status. Is there a reason behind this?”
Suddenly becoming nervous, you began fidgeting with your fingers. “Haha- was it obvious that i’m a noble?” you muttered, to which Jungwon nodded.
“Your clothes and form of speech give it away.”
You laughed ever so slightly and nodded. “You see, I’m actually new to this area and happened to grow curious about exploring the town as the views are spectacular.”
Jungwon looked over to where you turned; the ocean that he himself had belonged to. The cold ocean that had belonged to him and many others who were just like him.
“I see that you are drawn by the landscape?” Jungwon turned over to you, seeing you nod in approval.
“Correct. I don’t come from a very green place like this one, so this feels almost like a wonderland… like those types of forest or villages that you read in fairytales.”
Bingo.
That was all he needed to know… this was her… the girl who had visited the ocean the other day late at night… the thief of his ring that was so very beloved to him.
“I happen to notice that you have a specific love for reading?” Jungwon questioned, noticing your eyes light up as you looked back up at him.
“You seem to be very good at guessing- yes, I very much do love reading books and novels.” you blinked, a little taken aback by how well this stranger seemed to know you.
“I’m glad. I happen to enjoy reading myself.”
You felt some type of odd aura about him.. You were unsure if it was just you overthinking or if this was actually something that you should’ve been concerned about. From the moment he spoke you felt nothing but comfort, you felt safe. Which wasn’t something an ordinary human could’ve made you feel,
~~~
Walking up to a fruit stand, the lady in front smiled at you.
“I’ve never seen you around before, are you new around here?” she asked, making you nod in agreement.
“You’d be correct, I’m not from here, I hope that is alright,” you responded, seeing her nod repeatedly in reassurance to your doubts.
You looked back at the ocean that you felt attracted to for some odd reason. It wasn’t clear to you whether you only felt that way because of your book or because there was actually something magical about it… not to mention the eyes… those eyes that glowed brighter than the moonlight..
“I happen to notice that you really like our water’s?” She smiled, to which you flinched as you didn’t notice her staring.
“I do… may I ask why no families are down there constantly?” you questioned, noticing her give you a confused glance making you panic in case you asked the wrong question. “I’m a little confused because normally there would be a couple of swimmers, no?” you added, your nerves making you unable to say the sentence correctly.
Luckily, she understood you and waved her hand in dismissal.
“Oh dear, it’s prohibited to swim in any waters around here.”
You stayed silent, confused yet amused. “May I ask why…?”
She turned back to look at you, “Oh dear, haven’t you heard? It became banned around the late 1850’s due to the amount of siren spotting there had been. Not to mention the amount of ships that went missing in such a short period of time around this area recently. I feel so poorly for all the families of those navigators..”
Thoughts began circulating in your mind. That wasn’t possible… After all siren’s weren’t real.. They have never been real. They were mythical creatures.
“By the way dear, be very careful with who you trust on this land. Siren’s are very alluring creatures who roam around this town just as freely as regular citizens. Don’t get confident just because we're not in the sea.”
“Wait- siren’s can shapeshift and blend into humanity too?” You exclaimed, almost yelling in surprise before you caught yourself and covered your mouth, lowering your voice to a lower volume.
The woman chuckled, “Why, of course they can.”
“How can I spot a siren…? Among all these humans…?”
She looked around and signaled you to come closer, you followed her orders and leaned in.
“Siren’s will always have attractive and manipulating eyes… never forget that as it may save your life one day.”
~~~
His eyes were gorgeous… almost hypnotizing to look at, you've never seen eyes so gorgeous like his, they seemed almost unreal.
Face to face with a pretty young man, beautiful cat shaped eyes that glowed as brightly as the day.
Face perfect and screaming off the sense of innocence. Almost making you think that this was in fact the reincarnation of the word itself. Which in itself was odd enough,
But you couldn't judge a book by it's cover. After all you weren't even a believer- just a little frightened by something a woman had said earlier. You needed proof of sirens before you actually believed in them, even though there was no way of explaining what you had happened to see down in the shore the other night.
However, his eyes were that of something supernatural and you felt it.
___
You found yourself walking late at night alone in the streets of the town; surrounded by people and their terrified whispers.
“What time did you say sirens come out again?”
“I think I may have just run into a siren- it's eyes look surreal-”
Sirens, surreal looking eyes. Put together it made sense.
Something not human could never fully shapeshift or become a human. There will always be something that gives it away.
However, this was going too far.
“Hey, we meet again.” A voice from behind you called, snatching the magazine from your grip and rolling it up in between his hands.
“Oh- good afternoon..?”
“It would be good night as of right now.” He smiled. You'd be lying if you said you didn't get flustered the moment he did so, seeing him smile with such a handsome face. There was no way you couldn't react.
Smiling back, a bit of pink flushing over your cheeks. “Yes, I apologize. I happened to be making my way back home right now; I hope you can excuse me.”
His face became a small smirk, almost teasing as he looked back at you. “From what I can see, you don't happen to be accompanied by anyone?” He asked, despite your guard going up high, there was no use in lying, you had run into this same man earlier and you had been alone, so you simply nodded.
“Would you like me to come with? Better not get tricked by any sirens.”
You felt your cheeks warm up again, flustered by this man and his alluring personality.
“What did you say your name was again?” You asked, realizing you had never gotten his name in the first place. Unconsciously beginning to walk, making your way back home.
This almost felt familiar….
Sharon walked her way back home with the claimed stranger which she had seen earlier that day.
Questions arose from the young girl's mouth, not anything wrong, at least not to the ears of something so magical and mythical like a siren.
“What was your name again?” Sharon asked in a low pitched muffle.
“I couldn't catch that.” His eyes glew in the dark as his mouth spoke. Something about this man was so alluring and she couldn't catch a grip of what it might've been.
Maybe his attractiveness? His eyes? Seductive and teasing nature perhaps? Everything about him seemed surreal, the way his words were able to manipulate her to make decisions that she wouldn't have made otherwise. It almost seemed effortless.
Sharon smiled nervously, “Your name. I didn't manage to catch it.”
He grinned, “Edward.”
One of the rules about a siren, they only ever said their first names in an introduction, never their last. They didn't have a last name to give, at least not now.
Sharon looked back at the man who walked behind her, his eyes locking on hers as she kept the eye contact for a hot moment. It wasn't willingly, because something about his eyes felt as if there was some type of rope connecting and bonding their souls, as she was unable to look away.
“You have beautiful eyes Edward.” She smiled, noticing him nod knowingly.
“I've been told before, young Sharon.”
It felt odd, they were both young, around each other's age perhaps. It was likely a form of speech however it was still off putting. Sharon could never get used to being called young by someone who looked so young themselves.
“Alright then; Edward, how old are you.”
It was a forbidden question and she knew it. Sirens didn't have an age, at least not that they were aware of. Normally becoming unable to answer the question properly, ending up in them executing their plans earlier than expected, causing a scene that would be far too messy to clean up afterwards.
“Not sure. I was abandoned at a young age and have no idea of when something so basic like my birthday is.” He responded, voice lowering as he turned to his side.
Good answer, Sharon thought. Looking back at the young man and smiling.
“You look fairly young. Edward.”
He was taken aback, he normally disliked the mention of just his first name because of how disrespectful it sounded, and this… this had been the third time she directed him by his first name solely.
He looked at her sharply, “If you could, I'd really appreciate a title in the beginning like Mr before my name.”
The young girl turned around enthusiastically, still skipping towards the direction of her house rapidly as she laughed softly. Her face giving off nothing but innocence.
“But why? Edward is a pretty name. A last name like … would suit you impeccably!” She exclaimed.
“Jungwon.” He answered.
Walking up the pathway which sat on the hill that led up to your house, grass awaiting you at the top.
“Well then, Jungwon do you believe in sirens?” You asked, almost testing him for an unknown reason that not even you knew.
It seemed like he had caught onto this, as he half sighed, half chuckled. “You really can't believe nor not believe in something you haven't seen before. There will always be those who claim to have seen other worldly creatures, you can't believe them, but you can't proclaim them as liars either.” He smiled.
Good answer, you thought.
“Say, Jungwon, how old are you?” You grinned, noticing him do the same.
It's a test, he thought to himself, unable to think of the correct answer if there even was one. As a siren one of their biggest pet pieves was lying. He couldn't even make up something to protect himself unless if he wanted to be looked down on.
“Not sure, I don't even know something so simple like my birthday.” He frowned. You looked back, sincere nostalgia hitting you the moment those words came out from his mouth, however you were unable to pinpoint why or where it was coming from.
“I see,” you added, turning around and looking at him directly.
Unable to hold back, you looked back at him and sighed.
“Do you believe sirens are as evil as humans depict them to be?” You found yourself asking, continuing to walk forward even if the answer he'd give held you anxious.
He grinned and kept his gaze on you, despite not looking at him you could feel his eyes pierced through your skin.
“I think it's similar to humans. There's bad people out there and there's good. I don't see why something so similar should be any different. Sirens are technically human, that's why they don't have too much trouble blending into humanity, they can pull it off rather easily in a matter of fact.”
Your shoulders fell in relief, not even noticing the way they had been so tense.
“I'm glad to hear that,” You smiled, “It’s better to not take guesses about creatures we have never seen or met before.”
He nodded.
“She's different.”
“Well, Jungwon, it looks like we've arrived.”
He nodded and peaked his attention to the house he found himself at.
He had forgotten completely, he was here for a reason and he was going to leave with that one reason fulfilled. He didn't need any doubts.
“It has been an honor my lady.” He leaned down, asking for your hand.
You gave it to him, and he landed a singular kiss on the tip. It was a regular gentleman act at the time, however your cheeks could help but rose and warm up, it was a little shameful to have fallen head over heels for a stranger.
“Yang Jungwon?”
Snapping, he immediately looked up at you.
Yang Jungwon, Yang Jungwon, Yang Jungwon
That name rang in his ear like a bell, repeatedly. What was this? Why did it sound so familiar to him?
“I'll hope to see you another day.” You smiled.
He simply smiled back and waved, nodding in response regarding your statement that had been said a little unexpectedly.
Tears rolled down your cheeks, as you looked at the bed with the pale kid who was at once a healthy boy... your friend.
“I would like to give you this.” He handed the hand which had been clenched shut, holding onto the piece tightly. “I unfortunately don't have much time left, however I would like to give you this. That way if we ever reincarnate again, I'll find you.”
You couldn't contain your emotions, the tears streamed down your face and a wave of emotions hit you.
You entered your home, closing the door behind you while holding your fingers and making your way upstairs to your room. You wanted to take a cold shower before heading off to bed.
Slipping off the coat and relocating it onto a chair that sat in front of your desk. Looking down at your fingers and noticing the bright blue ring missing. Only being left with your original red ruby ring.
You looked everywhere in a panic. Had you dropped it on your way back? It would've been possible as it slipped off of your tiny fingers constantly. It was far too oversized for you.
Suddenly the memory overcame you. He kissed your wrist, in contact with your hand and fingers directly.
Looking out the window, seeing the moon glowing bright blue with a tint of red on a few corners of it. The water in the ocean splashed as if something or someone had just went back in. Enough time has passed, the ring was his priority
Yang Jungwon, who are you?
It was about time, Sharon thought.
There was always going to be different habitats for every living organism. Humans would locate on land, you'd find them there if you ever found yourself searching. Maraine animals would be found in the water, and wild animals would be in the depths of the trees.
Just like marine animals don't belong on land, humans don't belong in the water. The same was wild animals wouldn't belong in the ocean, they wouldn't survive.
It was the same way that the world worked, it was cycle.
Sharon wrote furiously onto the sheets of paper, many stacked up on the side and many scattered on the floor, it was unavoidable to anyone who experienced the same that she had.
The main message the young girl left for anyone and everyone who dared to pick up and look at the contents of this novel which started out as a diary.
History repeats itself. Never doubt it.

Anti!AU Relationships
An infodump about the relationships Peri and Irep have with Cosmo, Wanda, Anti-Cosmo, and Anti-Wanda below the cut! Sorry for not having a doodle or drawing with this one. Enjoy this little screenshot of baby Irep instead, yes, this would be cannon to the au.
Also! New sideblog for the Anti!AU, since most of the posts on @zero-and-crew have gotten a bit buried and will continue to do so.
Peri's post is coming soon! We wanna make sure we get his ref in before sharing everything that's happened to him as a kid.
Tumblr media
Peri's relationships:
Peri grew up with Anti-Cosmo, mostly. And the occasional visit from Anti-Wanda, who he adores (she may be a twit, but she's a loving one!) He gets annoyed at her sometimes, just like Anti-Cosmo does. But he loves her nonetheless. She was always the nicer of the two, the one who'd come and make sure he was okay *emotionally.* He'd usually say yes as a kid, even if it wasn't really true. But sometimes he'd open up to her, in hopes that she wouldn't slip up and tell anyone. He'd keep it vague.
His relationship with Anti-Cosmo is more complicated. Anti-Cosmo is a great teacher, or mentor. But he's never been great at being his dad. He lacked the emotional part of raising him. But he was always stable, and even if he isn't emotionally available— his advice is always solid and sound. He can usually get Peri to talk to him over a game of chess, and think through his thoughts *logically* rather than irrationally.
If he needs someone to emotionally support him? He'll go to Anti-Wanda. If he needs advice? Anti-Cosmo. Sometimes he goes to both. Especially if it's about relationships.
His feelings about Cosmo and Wanda are simple. He thinks they don't care about him. They never found him. As far as he's aware, they never even looked for him. He had no reason to care about them even though it hurt that they never looked for him. That changed when they took in Irep. He quickly became jealous, as it seemed Irep started to have the "perfect" life with his parents and his godbrother. The jealousy fuels a part of his hatred for Irep.
Irep's relationships:
Irep has similar feelings. He's jealous that Peri's so easily able to get along with his dad, Anti-Cosmo. It's not that he can't get along with Anti-Cosmo.. It's just difficult. His naturally less evil demeanor makes it a lot harder to find joy in the things Anti-Cosmo enjoy! Sure, he sometimes enjoys the occasional classic torment while he's younger, but not as much as his dad.
As he gets older, softer, things get harder between the two. And, eventually they become no contact. It's not until Peri befriends him, and invites him for a sleepover, that Irep and Anti-Cosmo start to talk again. Though they have their differences, the two are on neutral terms after this.
It's when Irep graduates Fairy Academy that he's really surprised— he expected to see Cosmo, Wanda and Anti-Wanda (she always loved him, and he knew that). The surprise was seeing Anti-Cosmo with them as well— and all of them, getting along for him. Anti-Cosmo's gift, a simple pack of cards, was all he needed.
They still don't talk much, but their relationship is much better now. Even if it's still complicated. That's why, out of the two of them, he prefers Anti-Wanda, her relationship with him was never complicated, but he never gets to see her. Sometimes, he still misses her cooking.
But his real parents will always be Cosmo and Wanda. They raised him, after all. He won't admit it— but he loves them both a lot. For a while, he simply called them "Auntie Wanda" and "Uncle Cosmo" and usually he still does. But that makes it even more special to them when he slips up and calls them 'Mom' or 'Dad'.
He frequently goes to them both for advice, emotional or not. Though, he often times, keeps parts of the truth hidden from them— especially when it involves Peri. For various reasons. Usually to protect them. He doesn't want them to worry.. He's happy to have their support though. Genuinely!

Eugavus Angst AU - Gavus „The Mourning Mage“ Re-Awakening / SSP
Putting the pictures behind the cut due to potentially triggering content, please mind the tags if you are uncomfortable with mild(ish) body horror.
This is based on some light lore theorycrafting spun up by users on the GaGene Nation Discord server after discussing what the new hero Adrian might have done or not have done with his partner, Elyse. How would the dads react in a similar situation?
For some reason I wanted to do a fun little concept for a corrupted Gavus based on this and got way too into it. 🙈
Scenario: Eugene passes away and leaves a mentally broken Gavus and his cube behind. Knowing that the cube offers endless possibilities in the hands of a capable holder, Gavus tries to use it to bring Eugene back from the dead. Due to his incompatibility with the cube‘s power however, his already fragile mind and body get corrupted, turning Gavus into a Hypogean abomination with just one goal in mind: finding a way to return his love to him.
Initial sketch:
Tumblr media
„After having no tears left to cry, he sought to become one with what remained of his love. Maybe with this newfound power, he could bring him back?“
The idea was that Gavus body struggled to contain the power of the cube, hence his skin slowly cracking like porcelain. Behind it is a black void with the red markings of the cube swirling within.
Costume/Weapon concept (including a full version without the noisy background):
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The red scarf is Eugene‘s cape which Gavus took with him after Eugene died.
He embedded the Trickster‘s Cube into his chest where his heart is, hence the corruption spreading.
His Celestial body and clothes are incompatible with the magic of the cube, this is why it corrupts his limbs and burns his clothes. Eugene‘s cape is not affected because it still has Eugene‘s compatibility. (I found out that the program I‘m using for digital art actually has a very neat brush for a cloud/stain effect AFTER painstakingly painting the burn marks on his clothes by hand. 😂 )
SSP Gavus‘ weapon is a merged version of Eugene‘s Weapon and his own, broken SP ring. Including more cube corruption, OF COURSE.
Gavus actually succeeds in bringing Eugene back from the dead, but at the cost of his sanity and becoming a Hypogean himself.
Eugene is NOT happy about what Gavus did and somehow finds a way to wake Dura (and in the progress ascending as a Celestial himself), just to ask her to return his husband to the status as Celestial.
Bonus picture: Celestial Eugene (whom I accidentally outlined on the sketch layer because I‘m very slow of brain, so you gotta live with my red sketchy lines 🥲).
I took the chance and gave him a cute little low ponytail!
Tumblr media
Now I need some fluff.

My Highschool Lover | K. Sunoo
Tumblr media
𝒔𝒖𝒎𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒚 -> "He was the boy who made me believe in love, even if only for a little while."
𝒑𝒂𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 -> Y/N × Kim Sunoo
𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒓𝒆 -> Angst/Au/Heavy Angst/Slow Burn
𝑨𝒖𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒓'𝒔 𝑵𝒐𝒕𝒆:CAN WE JUST APPRECIATE SUNOO RIGHT NOW!? Also i hope you like this story, i planned it for too long!!!
Tumblr media
The first time I saw Sunoo, I thought he was the kind of boy who belonged in a K-drama. You know, the type who walks into a room and suddenly the world feels brighter, like someone had turned up the saturation on life. He had this smile—wide, warm, and just a little mischievous—that made you feel like you were the only person in the room, even when you weren’t.
It was the first day of high school, and I was sitting in the back of the classroom, trying to blend into the walls. I wasn’t exactly the social butterfly type. My idea of a good time was curling up with a book and a cup of tea, not navigating the chaotic jungle of high school cliques. But then Sunoo walked in, and suddenly, blending into the walls wasn’t an option.
He was late, of course. The teacher had already started roll call when the door creaked open, and there he was, slightly out of breath, his uniform tie already loosened like he’d been in a hurry.
“Sorry I’m late,” he said, flashing that smile. The teacher sighed, clearly used to this kind of thing, and waved him in.
Sunoo scanned the room, his eyes landing on the empty seat next to me. He grinned—like he’d just won the lottery—and sauntered over, sliding into the chair with a casual ease that made my stomach flip.
“Hey,” he said, leaning over like we were already friends. “I’m Sunoo. You look like you could use some excitement in your life.”
I blinked, unsure if I should be offended or flattered. “I’m fine, thanks,” I muttered, turning back to my notebook.
But Sunoo wasn’t the type to take a hint. He leaned back in his chair, his grin widening. “Oh, come on. You’re sitting here all alone, looking like you’re about to write a tragic novel. Let me guess—you’re the brooding type, right? Mysterious, quiet, probably writes poetry in your spare time.”
I glared at him, but there was no malice in it. “I don’t write poetry.”
“Prove it,” he shot back, his eyes sparkling with challenge.
And just like that, Sunoo had wriggled his way into my life.
Over the next few weeks, Sunoo became a constant presence. He was everywhere—in the hallways, at lunch, even waiting for me after class like some kind of overenthusiastic puppy. At first, I tried to brush him off. I told myself he was just being friendly, that he’d get bored eventually and move on to someone more interesting.
But Sunoo wasn’t like that. He was persistent in a way that was both infuriating and endearing. He’d show up with snacks he knew I liked, or drag me to the school rooftop during lunch because “you need fresh air, seriously, you’re starting to look like a vampire.”
And then there were the little things—the way he’d notice when I was having a bad day and somehow manage to make me laugh, or the way he’d defend me when someone made a snide comment about how quiet I was.
“She’s not quiet,” he’d say, his voice firm. “She’s just selective about who she talks to. Unlike some people.”
It was hard not to fall for him.
The first time I realized I might actually like him was during the school festival. Our class had decided to do a café, and Sunoo, of course, had volunteered to be one of the waiters. He’d even convinced me to help out, though I spent most of the time hiding in the kitchen, pretending to be busy with the drinks.
But then, halfway through the day, there was a commotion outside. Some guy from another class had gotten into an argument with one of the girls working the register, and things were starting to get heated. Before anyone could react, Sunoo was there, stepping between them with a calm but firm expression.
“Hey,” he said, his voice steady. “Let’s not ruin the festival, yeah? If you’ve got a problem, take it outside.”
The guy hesitated, clearly not expecting someone like Sunoo to stand up to him. But Sunoo didn’t back down. He just stood there, his arms crossed, until the guy finally muttered an apology and walked away.
I watched the whole thing from the kitchen, my heart pounding in my chest. There was something about the way Sunoo had handled it—confident but not aggressive, protective but not overbearing—that made me see him in a whole new light.
When he came back inside, he flashed me that same smile, like nothing had happened. “See?” he said, leaning against the counter. “I told you I’d make this festival interesting.”
I rolled my eyes, but I couldn’t stop the smile tugging at my lips. “You’re impossible.”
“And yet, you’re still here,” he shot back, his grin widening.
It wasn’t long after that that we started dating. It happened almost by accident, really. We were walking home after school one day, talking about nothing in particular, when Sunoo suddenly stopped and turned to me.
“You know,” he said, his tone unusually serious, “I really like spending time with you.”
I blinked, caught off guard. “Uh, thanks?”
He laughed, shaking his head. “No, I mean… I really like you. Like, more than just friends.”
My heart skipped a beat. “Oh.”
“Yeah,” he said, rubbing the back of his neck. “So, uh… what do you think?”
I didn’t know what to say. My mind was racing, trying to process what was happening. But then I looked at him—really looked at him—and saw the vulnerability in his eyes, the way he was nervously waiting for my response.
And suddenly, it was the easiest decision in the world.
“I think I like you too,” I said, my voice barely above a whisper.
Sunoo’s face lit up like I’d just given him the best gift in the world. “Really?”
I nodded, feeling my cheeks heat up. “Really.”
He grinned, pulling me into a hug that made my heart feel like it was going to burst. “You have no idea how happy that makes me,” he said, his voice muffled against my shoulder.
For a while, everything was perfect. Sunoo was everything I could’ve asked for in a boyfriend—sweet, funny, and endlessly supportive. He’d show up at my house with my favorite snacks, or text me random memes in the middle of the night just to make me laugh.
But then, halfway through our second year, everything changed.
Sunoo’s family had to move. His dad got a job offer in another city, and they couldn’t afford to turn it down. When he told me, it felt like the ground had been ripped out from under me.
“It’s only for a little while,” he said, trying to sound reassuring. “We’ll still talk every day, and I’ll visit whenever I can.”
I nodded, but I could feel the tears welling up in my eyes. “Promise?”
He reached out, brushing a strand of hair out of my face. “I promise.”
At first, we kept that promise. We texted every day, called each other every night, and even managed to video chat on the weekends. It wasn’t the same as having him there, but it was enough.
But then, slowly, things started to change. The texts became less frequent, the calls shorter. I told myself it was just because he was busy—new school, new friends, new life. But deep down, I knew something was wrong.
And then, one day, the texts stopped altogether.
I waited for hours, then days, hoping he’d reply. But he didn’t. It was like he’d vanished, leaving behind nothing but silence and a thousand unanswered questions.
The last time I saw Sunoo, it was raining. He’d come back to visit, just like he’d promised, but it wasn’t the happy reunion I’d imagined.
We sat on the rooftop of our old school, the same place where we’d spent so many afternoons together. But this time, there was no laughter, no teasing, no easy banter. Just the sound of the rain and the weight of everything left unsaid.
“I’m sorry,” he said finally, his voice barely audible over the rain.
I didn’t say anything. I didn’t trust myself to speak.
“I didn’t mean for things to end up like this,” he continued, his eyes fixed on the ground. “I just… I don’t know what happened.”
I wanted to scream, to cry, to demand an explanation. But all I could do was sit there, my heart breaking into a million pieces.
“I still care about you,” he said, his voice cracking. “I just… I don’t know how to be the person you need anymore.”
I looked at him then, really looked at him, and saw the boy I’d fallen in love with—the boy with the sunlit smile, the boy who’d made me feel like I was the most important person in the world.
But he wasn’t that boy anymore.
“I understand,” I said finally, my voice barely above a whisper.
He looked at me, his eyes filled with regret. “I’m sorry.”
I nodded, feeling the tears spill over. “Me too.”
And just like that, it was over. Sunoo walked out of my life as quickly as he’d walked into it, leaving behind nothing but memories and a heartache that would take years to heal.
But even now, all these years later, I still think about him. I wonder if he ever thinks about me, if he ever regrets the way things ended.
And sometimes, when I close my eyes, I can still see him—the boy with the sunlit smile, the boy who made me believe in love, even if only for a little while.
End of the Story.

GUYSGUYSGUYS
me and my friend cooked something up on twitter so i present MORE STATICPUZZLES ANGST 😈
reboot au
where vox gets severely injured while protecting mr. puzzles during his first time experiencing an extermination.
the injuries were severe enough that they had to perform a reboot on vox's system.
when mr. puzzles sees vox again after he gets patched up, he comes to quickly realize that vox had his memory wiped. i like to imagine that vox keeps his memories backed up somewhere but because of how extensive they are, it would take weeks or maybe a month or so before the memories could be fully backed up in a hard drive and imported back into vox's system.
so now mr. puzzles has to just live with the fact that his only friend. his husband can't even recognize him anymore.

im this close to writing something about this SOMEONE STOP MEEE 😭

☠︎︎The Cause☠︎︎
Psychic-Kyle "Gaz" Garrick x Dead-female-reader
When Kyle arrives on scene to investigate your suicide, he finds that he can't, and I mean cannot, drop your case.
Proshippers, Comshippers DNI
Warnings: suicide, gore, guns, angst, contact me if I need to add more.
Tumblr media
It wasn't a pretty sight; the bright, flashing police lights, the yellow caution tape. It was pretty overwhelming and took quite a toll on his anxiety.
One could blame him by saying he shouldn't work a job he wasn't mentally equipped for, but only someone deeply desensitized is mentally equipped for the things one saw working on his task force, especially not this time.
For example, the sight of CSI showering you in camera flashes, leaned in close to get a good angle of your blown off head as you slouched in your seat.
It was bloody, messy, splattered across the enclosure of your vehicle, your brain scattered across the place. It wasn't for the weak stomached.
He winced as he watched them pull you out of the car, laying you on the stretcher. Your head gushed and oozed with the movement, leaking across the scene, your hand shriveled, tight around the gun you used to end your life. Even in death, you held it tight, your fingers locked tightly around the trigger.
"Gaz," Price snaps the man out of his trance. "You're doing it again." Gaz sighs at the Captain's words, knowing he was right. He had a bad habit of zoning out at scenes like this, but he did try his best to stay focused.
"You're one of my best men, Gaz. I need ta know you can handle this mission without havin' another episode." "Of course, I can. I've seen worse." His brows furrow, almost taking offensive. He wouldn't dare back out, but he couldn't tell him the real reason why.
"You've seen better and felt worse." Price counters, putting his hands in his pockets. "I know it looks...awful. But if you can't fulfill the job, I can find someone else to fill in for ya." He snorts, backing up as they passed them with your now covered corpse.
Gaz closes his eyes, his skull tingling at the sight of you hidden beneath the thin white sheet, blood seeping through around your head. Seeing you, what was left of your face, shielded by the blanket sent a certain urge through Gaz. Not a sexual urge or a violent urge. It didn't even feel like a human desire. It was something beyond that. A guilty urge. A soul-haggling requirement to make things right.
He felt numb yet prickly all over, weak in the stomach and full of adrenaline. Then suddenly, it was gone. The second they lifted you into the ambulance, the feeling was snatched away from him. Gaz breathes heavily.
"...I-...I can't drop this mission, Captain... It's meant for me." He expresses, watching the ambulance pull off. He couldn't help but want to follow it, even knowing exactly where the thing was headed. "Whateva ya say, Gaz."

12:03am
Gaz can't seem to get himself to sleep, even knowing how snarky he can get if he doesnt get enough rest. He sits elbows out against his computer desk, constantly rewatching the final video you recorded. He knows it's not healthy, but something about your face drew him in, like a sailor to a siren's song.
There was something about the look on your face as you rambled on and on about God knows what, a melancholy smile making it's way onto his face as he watched you prolong your death. For someone talking to themselves, you were a great conversationalist, ignoring all the stuttering and trailed off sentences.
Can't really expect a girl to be calm and collected while she's trying to kill herself, can you?
To Gaz, it didn't really seem like you wanted to die. It seemed like you needed someone to talk to. He felt bad. Guilty. Something was telling him that if he'd gotten to you sooner, he could've talked you out of it. But even with the guilt, he couldn't move past how absolutely gorgeous you were to him. Just...raw, natural, frantic. No facade.
Gaz had a thing for crazy unpredictable women. His whole life, he's been a calm, level-headed guy and he was raised to remain chill in even the most devastating situations, and to help others in need.
So, seeing girls who were always on the verge of a break down, just a second away from chaos, it made him feel...leveled. he felt like he could help them. He wanted to help them. Badly.
He had an awful "I can fix her" mentality, and anytime he finds himself in a situation that he knows he can solve somehow, he feels bad when he doesn't. And he knows he could've helped you. He just...didn't. There was something much he could've done for you.
Bang! He shudders, watching you commit the final act. He was on his third time watching this video and he jumped every. fucking. time. He just could NOT prepare himself to see you die.
He closes his laptop, leaning down into his hands and rubbing his face. "Damn..." he cursed, sighing. "...why'd you do that?..." he asks in a whisper, almost angry that you didn't get the help you needed.
"... I'm sorry..."
His head lifts immediately, heart instantly palpitating. "Breathe, Kyle, Breathe" He tells himself, resetting his breathing patterns slowly but surely. He turns around to see a girl sitting at the edge of his bed. Not just any girl. You.
Your head was in...better condition. It was still put together of not for the smoke coming from the cracks around your eye, resembling the areas that had blown off.
"Oh, ☆☆☆." He turns out of his chair, pulling you close into his arms. "It's okay, baby, its alright." He cradles you against his chest. "It's okay, ☆☆☆...damn, you shoulda called me, girl....you shoulda called me..." He sniffles, clinging onto you like a little girl holding her broken porcelain doll.
"I forgot your number..."
Your voice was blank, monotone, with only a hint of emotion; shame. "I know, honey, I know...that's my fault. I shoulda kept in contact with you...uh, how much do you remember? Do you know who you are? Who I am?"
"..Kyle.."
"That's...that's right. Kyle. That's good. You're not far gone. What am I to you, ☆☆☆? What's our relationship?" He tries gage how much you remember after death. It would determine if you could still stay with him.
"My boyfriend..."
He sighs. You must not remember the breakup. He didn't want you to either. It made him feel awful. Gaz felt he shouldn't have left you during your worse. He knew you were going through so much and he just abandoned you. "Yeah, that's right, angel..."
Oh, his poor baby didn't even know... just dead and clueless. But he'd much wrather you not remember the breakup, knowing damn well that's probably what triggered your suicide in the first place. He wouldn't dare remind you that he was the cause.
