#i really wish yamaha can allow a re-release of v1 as is but compatible with newer systems iygwim?#i'm not a tech person so i'm not sure if it's even possible#but the v1's are legacy products and with the vsynth userbase currently being bigger than ever i'm like 80-90% sure they would sell#better than their first and second times at least#and the fact that users are willing to drop hundreds and even thousands (like leon being sold for over $700-$1k on ebay bids 2-3 yrs ago)#on older/retired synths shows how much they're more than willing to buy them#then again i'm always open for updates/migrations and have been waiting for 11 years now#i just wanna see the v1 zg's in the spotlight#waffula talks

this was going to be the first year I got a tax refund since 2020 and as a present to me the government took all (and I do mean all) $2500 of it. I am so fucking upset LOL

#as if things couldn’t get any worse#the mechanic I have my car at cannot fix the issues with my car#so not only do I have to pay them $700 for a new battery#I have to get my car towed to the dealership so *they* can fix my problem#but the next appointment at the dealership is not until#the FUCKING 7th. of JANUARY#so I’m going to be without my car#FOR NINE FUCKING WEEKS#I’M LOSING MY FUCKING MIND#JUST SHOOT ME AGAIN LIFE. GO THE FUCK AHEAD.#and before you say ‘just take the bus’ I need you to understand that#the bus would take my twice daily 10-15 minute commute and change it to TWO FUCKING HOURS#and the mall is about to start holiday hours. which means there are nights I wouldn’t get out until 9pm#and there may be days I’m starting my work day at 9:30 am#and of fucking COURSE this had to be during the FUCKING WINTER#and if you’re still thinking ‘wah-wah what a first world problem’#you can fuck right off#I worked so hard to earn myself a car#and I enjoy driving#excuse the fuck out of me if I enjoy the convenience of being able to drive myself around#and the time that buys me to decompress after work#and cook my meals#and do my dishes#if I start taking the bus I will not have that time#and I will not be a nice man anymore#I will become a bitter angry asshole because I’m hungry angry and tired all the time

spent weeks psyching myself up to stand up to my mum and then immediately got shot down by her 😃👍
#vent incoming i apologise in advance for the long tags#we've lived together just the two of us since dec 2021 (although her boyfriend is here like 2/3 of the time as well)#and since i got my job in march 2022 i have been paying half of all the bills (literally down to like tv license when i barely watch the tv)#which is £300 a month#plus i buy all my own food + pay for the amazon prime she uses + contribute to various household things like toilet roll etc#and she doesn't have a mortgage so i am paying the same amount as her to live in her house#(and it is very much her house not our house)#and I've never been very happy with any of that but never complained either#but then recently it turned out she never set up the water bill when we moved in (it's one of the only bills i didn't sort for us)#so we have a huge backdated bill from dec 2021 and i knew she was going to tell me to pay half#so for the past month or so I've been preparing myself for this conversation and sure enough today she came and said 'we owe £700'#so i was like 'oh i thought maybe it would've been covered by my £300/month' which is the biggest stand I've been able to work myself up to#and she immediately started going on about how i live here too and use water too so it's just as much my responsibility to pay#and how when we're both earning i should be paying my share and i was like yeah i know that's why i never complained about paying before#but also i already pay more than most people would to live with their parents#and she went off about how actually most people charge their grown up kids rent on top of the bills so really i'm lucky i don't have to#(when she got the original £300 figure it was actually rounded up from like £240 to include 'rent' but i wasn't gonna bring that up now)#and in conclusion she doesn't see why she should be subsidising my bills#like i don't know maybe because you're my MOTHER and i am your CHILD who is just starting out in the adult world#and maybe that entitles me to being treated better than some lodger???!!!!!#anyway i paid the bill and now i'm trying and failing at not crying at my desk 😃#talking

for someone who claims to fucking hate eating i sure do think a lot about food
#i like buying food ok#its fun#the problem starts when i have to eat it#bought myself a pack of like. those thin crispy stick things. no clue what theyre called. theyre lime and chilli flavored.#and like im trying to figure out how to eat it without going over my limit.#i also got sweets for christmas#not a lot thos time thankfully#and i need to eat them too#i dont want to throw them out bc they were expensive + theyre good#and i dont want to just leave them bc i know that ill binge on them if they stay in the closet long enough#i ordered low cal snacks for new year's#planning to like eat the chips i got with the 0cal ketchup i have#+a bit of the sticks#and maybe if i crave sth sweet i could eat rice cakes with the low cal tiramisu sauce i got#drinks arent a problem i can drink either tea or one of the stuffs i ordered#it would amount total to abt 800kcal max#id love to go omad but sadly i get rly dizzy and my mom would definitely notice 😔#my limit is 1k max but i try to eat around 600-700 at most usually#so the plan is to eat between 3-4pm on 31st and 1-2pm on 1st.#aaaaaaa#tw ed
