january 15 is the best day for me as a vocaloid leon fan because i'm guaranteed to see at least 2 leon fanarts posted that day
#also hi long time no tumblr other than posting and leaving#leon fanarts spotted today: that's right. 2. not including mine#before today i used to say more than two but for some reason there were not a lot of fanarts posted this year#vocaloid fandom is so funny bc we have a handful of vocaloids who would get 1000 fanarts minimum on their anniversary/bday#and then there's the other 70% who get 3 to none#if you drew leon and lola today and i haven't shared it yet please tag me 🥺#anyways off to a different topic#i will be creating less of finished vocaloid illustrations and do more of comics/doodles since fandom seems to enjoy it more#(and i don't mind since it takes WAY less time for me to create)#for illustration i want to practice and create more originals so that it could help with my understanding of certain techniques#starting with shadows maybe#i'll probably be posting my originals to my bsky which i won't be sharing for now (but if you find it good for you)#gonna go sleep gn#waffula talks

#i really wish yamaha can allow a re-release of v1 as is but compatible with newer systems iygwim?#i'm not a tech person so i'm not sure if it's even possible#but the v1's are legacy products and with the vsynth userbase currently being bigger than ever i'm like 80-90% sure they would sell#better than their first and second times at least#and the fact that users are willing to drop hundreds and even thousands (like leon being sold for over $700-$1k on ebay bids 2-3 yrs ago)#on older/retired synths shows how much they're more than willing to buy them#then again i'm always open for updates/migrations and have been waiting for 11 years now#i just wanna see the v1 zg's in the spotlight#waffula talks

#i think the last game i purchased and completed within the past 3 years was umineko (it was too good)#i want to catch up on games#there's astrobot and ghost trick that i want to finish#i completed aai1 but not aai2 yet#i hope to finish all those games before xcxde is out 🤔#OH there was also the free vocaloid fangame called the little UNI on steam#it's simple with a good story. avg playtime is 1 hour but i was too stupid with one of the puzzles it took me an additional 30 minutes#waffula talks
