Next, he picked up the Denman brush, the brush glinting in the light. But as he began to gently brush through her curls, Ayla’s mood shifted.

What I think Simon likes about Wille

I have seen some discussions about “why Simon even like Wille” (😔☹️💔) both here and elsewhere. I'm bored sooooo here is my list of what I think! I admit when I first watched I used to wonder sometimes why Simon liked him, mostly bc the back and forth hot and cold of season 1 could understandably be exhausting however once i thought about it I came up with many things. (some are hc ish ) :) I also think that if you love wilmon's relationship then you can see what they see in eachother. Two people (Wilmon) created that dynamic together both of them are loving/open/gentle with each other it is deeper than " i like that he sings and he is pretty"- they like how the other person makes them feel which is different I think than what is usually portrayed in teen relationships. People focus too much on their fights/angst sometimes and not their nice moments I think the good outweighs the bad. Also why i believe in endgame bc they have something deep and special.

1. I think Simon thinks Wille is adorable in a dorky way or finds him endearing. When Wille dropped the utensil after their first real convo Simon was blushing and giggling

2. Wille actively seeks him out a lot and tries to help Simon when he can/ When someone is giving you that kind of attention it is flattering and shows how kind Wille is (the tip about tutoring, the rowing tips, the song on the piano). Thats a quality someone would find attractive

3. Similarly when they are together Wille’s attention and energy is solely focused on him / Wille smiling at him adoringly all the time. I think that would make anyone feel special and especially if you are like Simon and spend a lot of energy caring for/thinking about other people

These two are my brainrot rn, don't even joke lad. And I wanna tell yall their name meanings too bc I like them a lot 🥹 Zephra's means "west wind" derived from Greek, and it's the feminine version of Zephyr. Tyrian was a type of purple dye used by the Ancient Phoenicians, huge huge HUGE thanks to my pookie bear @miothefish for helping me out with his name!!! Also he has Lisa's butterfly earring and you can't see bc of the angle but Zephra has the rose that went in her hair holding her ponytail <3

I'm also making a massive family tree for the characters as a go along, and just the jeanlisa tree is taking up half of the canvas bc of the KoF and Sumeru characters since Cyno is their uncle and the rest of the gang are their honorary uncles 😭 I'll be posting that once the series is done/all the requests are finished/I run out of ships and otps I enjoy

Here's an alternative version with some more info on most of the characters I wanted to briefly mention in their relation to them; Tyrian likes calling Eula his aunt too even though she was never really considered one for them so it's kind of like her unofficial title she pretends to dislike but she loves it and dotes on Tyrian 🤭 She and Diluc also helped train Zephra with a claymore and Diluc kind of became a parental figure to her in her teen years after Lisa's passing 🥺 She also feels like she's outshined by Jean and that she's not smart or powerful enough to follow in Lisa's footsteps (something that Lisa wouldn't want anyways bc it led her to her death 😔) rip zephra she's just like me fr

And yeah some Kaeya angst bc he's still going thru it I fear, and Jean is single mombossing but she's worried for zephra which me too dawg, im afraid to say she might be cooked 😦 Zephra is also kind of like a weird mix of Lisa when she was her age and Jean, where overall she's well-mannered and kind but she can be competitive and feel the need to push herself too much and pull a few strings to get what she wants from time to time. Tyrian is a ray of sunshine tho, he has not yet witnessed the horrors 💔 I do think that Jean is also a lot easier on him than her mom was with her so that also helps. He's very shy tho and wants to stick with Zephra or Razor most of the time, and they both have some nasty tan lines from going out with Razor and Klee and Fischl a lot 😔 Cyno also freaking loves them and dotes on them and Tyrian is getting a TCG addiction because of it smh, Cyno is also one of Zephra's favorite people and when she's in Sumeru she stays with him and Alhaitham (bc in my universe they are married ough I love cytham)

And (I think?) Klee physically and mentally ages slower than humans so I think she'd be technically 9 or 10, and Zephra is left with babysitting duty most of the time if she's home on break or smth 😭 Klee really looks up to her tho

Also, I wrote Tyrian's last bullet point like he was super young when Lisa died, but I think he was around 7 so he actually remembers Lisa better than I intended it to sound, he was just younger than Zephra (who was 11 at the time) and just didn't have as much time with her as Zeph did, but his most fond memory of Lisa was reading with her and she probably taught them some potion-making skills too.

I think there will be some abyss angst in here too at some point, since I hc Lisa to be probably an Abyss Lector/Harold (I forget which is which) um so thinking that Zeph and Tyrian experiencing some not normal things happening and Jean doesn't know what to do since Lisa also didn't really know what that dog in her was until it was too late 😔 That's what Kaeya's for tho since he's like the heir of the abyss???? Go off king. Also some touchy ragbros angst bc Kaeya is scared for Zeph knowing how close she is with Luc and he doesn't want him to push her away because of her being from the abyss or smth (they mostly made up but it's still a fear in Kaeya's mind both for him and Jean's kids)

concert dump (late bc I slept for two days and had to go back to the real world today):

I dragged my best friend along because I knew I would be a mess otherwise. (I convinced her with Eden’s beauty and the fact Aubrey is Chappell Roan’s bassist tho)

We met so many cool people there!! Shoutout if we met you (I was in a sparkly silver cowboy hat)

Two of the girls we met were also in school and one of them kept making Eden laugh with her jokes in between songs. She would say “that was actually kind of good!” or re-enact Mario’s “waaaah” amongst other things that really tickled Eden apparently. They ended getting Dash(?)’s set list. (rip we never got their names tho)

We were right up against the stage which was bonkers. (the stage is only a foot maybe off the ground btw) we were right in front of Eden so our view of Lewis was terrible 💔 I eventually switched with my best friend because apparently Lewis kept scaring her with how intense he looked while drumming LMAO

I made eye contact with Lewis a couple times whenever he wasn’t looking at Eden, Freddy, or his drums since I was right in front of him.

The dynamic between the five of them is adorable!! they clearly love each other so much and they would constantly look between each other for confirmation/support. I love how they got into each song with someone (usually Freddy) counting down.

Eden said we were the best crowd!! We sang a bit of one of the songs (I can’t remember which one) with her and she got a little emotional during one of them. All around the best vibes I’ve ever seen at a concert.

Once they left the stage I went to the bathroom and when I came back I literally passed right by Lewis without even realizing it until I turned around 💔

We ended up meeting The Wonderfool (the opener) and they were super cool!! (sorry to Matt, he kept talking to me but I was so nervous I probably seemed so uninterested 😭)

We had to swap lines a couple times because I don’t think Lewis realized how many people were actually waiting for him so he kept going to pack up but eventually we met Aubrey who is super cool!! We then met Freddy and Dash a couple times every time we bought merch (we went each separately before the show then twice after it ended).

AND EDEN!! Eden is literally my queen, she is so so sweet. We asked her how the tour was going and she mentioned again how Atlanta has been the best so far. I jokingly said she was just saying that but she insisted and was very charming. We took a couple selfies and then Dash offered to take a picture (he accidentally took a selfie first before turning the camera around 😭)

Oh! everyone complimented my cowboy hat which made me very happy.

I was literally about to give up seeing Lewis but my best friend would literally not let me leave until we saw him (very grateful for that lol) We asked Aubrey if she could grab him for a second. I felt so so bad because he kept trying to pack up and I think he was just tired or nervous with the show and everyone meeting him. I didn’t want to overwhelm him more so I just asked for his autograph and a picture. (He thought I meant a drawing which was funny so I asked if he drew and he said he drew all the album artwork and I felt so silly.) He was still very sweet and kind!! Pro tip: don’t wait until the very very end to meet him, I was stupid 😭

We left once we got the picture and when I looked at it I was initially confused because he originally went to side hug me but then let go of me and rested his fist on my shoulder… I panicked and thought I had done something wrong. But I realized that he adjusted because I did an awkward side hug too where I wasn’t hugging him all the way. so he was actually just being very respectful which makes me admire him so much more 😭
