You can only get the Dead End in Day 4 by staying at Ren's apartment — the rest of your choices before that don't matter. I'd also pay closer attention to the black smoke and Ren's reaction towards it!

Ren disappears from the home screen because he promised to help the player out (and stop them from getting the Dead End again). Try replaying the game again from the beginning for a surprise!

"Unsent Memories" was another visual novel (initially being written by @10chimes / @unsentmemory, though the project has since been dropped and handed back to me /pos) and is set in the same universe as 14 Days With You. Its storyline and characters are completely separate from 14DWY, so you don't have to worry about them while playing 14DWY.

I've mentioned this idea before on my blog, but I've decided to properly introduce you to my Resurrection AU!

The basic idea is that as Kirby and co. are returning from the New World post-Forgotten Land, they start to get reports of people coming back from the dead!

The Characters:

She's trying make it up to everybody she's hurt, especially Taranza, which is going to be a long and arduous process for her. She's determined to try and make things right, though.

In his search for ancient knowledge, Void enlists the help of Magolor, who's agreed to help him out and house him in exchange for a little help with his theme park.

Elfilin's staying with Kirby in Dream Land while he recuperates from everything. Much to his chagrin, Fecto Forgo is staying in Elfilin's head. These two have to figure everything out between them while adjusting to "normal" life.

Other characters are also relevant, of course.

This AU's nowhere close to being fully fleshed out. I've got bullet points for the main plot, but that's about it for now. I'll develop it more eventually. In the meantime, please feel free to send me questions or thoughts you have about this!

LARK:

HUGE nerd. spent most of his time during the Uva Academy studying different kinds of pokemon as well as different fighting styles he can utilize once he is able to go out on his own journey with his very own trainer! Too bad that didn't really help in the long run...

His entire wardrobe consists of McDonald's related outfits. It's fucking insane. He even has some from long LONG ago that aren't available anywhere else.

The bubble pattern on his hair is able to move and change. Nobody knows how this is possible, not even Lark himself. All Lark knows is that his hair looks incredibly stylish!

Speaking of bubbles, he has the ability to blow bubbles whenever and wherever he pleases!

Often keeps himself extremely clean and gets upset if even a small speck of dirt gets on him, despite this he somehow smells like McDonald's food and axe body spray. Disgusting. He's so cool!

Even after death he still likes to hang around the other team members as a ghost, often getting to know the newer members as well as reuniting with the old ones. Sometimes they see him, sometimes they don't. It usually depends.

SARA:

Due to being a human in her past life, Sara is able to actually speak with the other humans in the pokemon world. However she usually doesn't due to it being seen as extremely weird and out of place. She did slip up once while talking in the presence of Arven, who thought it was the weed making him hear things.

Oinkologne are usually unable to do much with their hooves but Sara spent nights practicing how to knit with her new hooves and now she's able to do it flawlessly. I don't know how she managed to do that but go queen!

When first joining the team she'd often have the urge to eat her food related companions. It was a strange time for Sara, but she managed to overcome it.

When Peppy gets sick, she usually is the one who nurses him back to health. She was a human once so she often is able to figure out whatever sickness Peppy has and treat it properly. I suppose she's like a second mother to him.

The bag she carries with her is full of thread that she collected from various Tarountula she encountered on the journey, as well as little things she knits together in her spare time.

For the most part, Sara forgives... but NEVER forgets.

Pastey:

Before joining the team, Pastey was a nameless wanderer. He's been down every road in Paldea and knows almost the entire region (except for Area Zero) like the back of his hand.

He's gotten hurt pretty badly throughout the run (ie. the Mikey fight, the Atticus fight, and ESPECIALLY the final battle), however, he does not gain any (physical) scars from those fights. This is bc he's basically an axolotl, and axolotls are usually able to heal without scarring.

Pastey's "arms" are, to put it simply, mud prosthetics. More info here vvv

Pastey HAS met Mall Bingo once before the run, however, he doesn't recognize her. The only reason he does not recognize her is bc she wears glasses. (You know how people somehow aren't able to recognize Superman bc he wears glasses in his civilian attire even tho his face remains the same? It's basically like that lmao)

Unlike the lightbulbs he eats, the gasoline he drinks isn't really mandatory to his diet. Gasoline is like alcohol to him and he drinks it like an absolute CHAMP.

He goes fishing when there's nothing else to do or when he can't sleep at night. He doesn't do this bc he thinks it's fun or anything, only bc it's a "good time passer" or so he claims. Other members of the team will often sit with him and vent out anything that's troubling them at the moment, and Pastey is always there to listen to them.

And that's pretty much it. Next is Joe, Hannah Ü, and Mykyie!

not a real fic, just my ramblings, and heads up that the match/tim is dubcon and there are mentions of potential noncon (sorry if that wasnt the vibes you were going for lajksdhgjkhag)

i'm imagining this being like, an au of when match is pretending to be kon in young justice, and tim is just coming to terms with actually liking kon, and match decides to pursue tim as some fucked up trophy to lord over kon

so match starts to pursue tim and tim can tell that something is /off/ about him. he doesn’t /want/ to look too hard into why something is off, because he /does/ like the attention match is giving him, but there's just no way for him to turn off the detective in him. if something is going on with kon, he needs to find out what it is so he can help.

so it comes to this head where tim realizes that match isn't kon, but he realizes it when hes alone with match and things move too fast for him to get the upper hand- match ends up pinning tim, rutting down against him and muttering little things into his ear about how he knows tim has a thing for kon, how he should just close his eyes and pretend that he’s who tim wants him to be- c'mon, tim, he looks just like kon, after all- and there's this moment of hesitation, where match thinks tim is going to agree, going to just go along with it to get the false memory of being with kon, and maybe tim does briefly consider it, but there's no way match would just /let it all go/ afterwards, no way he wouldn't bring it up to kon and the rest of their team and tim just can't. besides, there has to be some other reason match infiltrated them and- /where is kon/ where has kon been this whole time that match has been here?

so tim knows he has to get away here, can't give in to the little thought in the back of his head saying he could just give himself this one little fantasy- he purposefully relaxes into match grip anyway, pretends he is giving in, lets match kiss him, spreads his legs a little bit to seem more inviting, murmurs something about wanting to /touch/ and match is overconfident enough, and caught up enough in the euphoria of tim's surrender, that he does let tim's wrists go, giving tim the opportunity to drag his hands down match’s chest, keeps him distracted enough to slip one of his hands to the lead lined pouch on his belt, flipping it open to get out his emergency kryptonite

it evens out the playing field a little more, gives tim the element of surprise enough to flip them over and get the upper hand. this one is a good end, where tim keeps the upper hand, contains match, interrogates him about kon and gets back with the team to mount their rescue mission

in this case, i think it would be fun for tim to keep silent about the specifics of what happened between him and match, leaving out anything that wasnt just “i could tell he wasn't kon and we fought”

but after kon is back he goes to match’s cell, supposedly just to make sure he’s properly contained, but rly to rub it in his face that his team knows him well enough they weren’t fooled by match’s ‘inferior imitation’ and match gets all smug and says that no one had a clue, only tim, bc of his poor, pathetic crush, and kind of breaks kons brain. a loop of “tim's crush?? tim's….. crush??? crush?? tim? On me????” and match goes on to brag about how good tim tastes, how good he /feels/, implying a lot more than how far he actually got, and kon kind of loses it, almost breaks into the cell to hit him, barely holds himself back and has to go retreat to his room to Think™ about tim and his supposed crush and /why/ kon felt so terrible at thinking tim and match were together. tries to brush it off as him just being protective of his friend who was assaulted, but realizes there's this other underlying feeling about how even if tim had been an active participant, kon still wouldn't have liked it- eventually he figures his shit out, but it takes… A While. meanwhile hes been weird around tim because of it and it's making tim extra paranoid cause the last time kon was so weird he /wasn't kon/ so tim keeps trying to spend more time with him to make sure he is himself and also to see how he can help him (bc it /is/ him, tim knows).

theres also the potential for a harsher story here, tim not being able to beat match would lead to some,,, ,, rly fun alternatives

To the surprise of no one, a favorite trope of mine is enemies to family. What does that look like? I’m glad you asked!

One idea I’ve been rolling in my head is Vampire and their ‘pet’ Hunter. Some masked who has decided to go at him with everything they have. And the Vampire finds it amusing and draws it out until one fight where both are wounded, the vampire finally unmasks them. And finds a complete baby face. Panicked about possibly killing a child he instead turns them. Vampire Sire shenanigans ensue of course.

And very similar vein of Hero x Supervillian, a years long match of strength and wits. And when the Supervillain finally unmasks them, is immediately horrified that he’s been fight a teenager for *years* and spends the next week drunk and rambling to his poor henchmen about non lethal weapons and child protective services. Absolutely refuses to fight them again, and if Supervillain finds out that Hero is working for someone who knows they’re a kid, ah well, he knows he has plenty of lethal weapons at home.
