i have never been as sad as i am right now writing that love on tour is officially over! this has honestly been one of the craziest experiences for everyone; myself, the fans and for you harry. being able to watch you grow as an artist and an individual on and off stage for the past two years has been an honor and i cannot thank you enough for bringing me on this incredible journey with you

the love i feel for you is one i struggle to describe, its a feeling of joy when i see you on stage, its a feeling of hurt when i see you at your lows, its a feeling of pure happiness when i see you being who you are. loving you is something so genuinely special and i cannot believe i am the one who gets to witness all of you, all of your life

love on tour is truly something that is one of a kind and the family you were able to create with it will be something that lasts forever along with the memories created these past years

Pristine Cut new routes!

I've currently played through all of the new routes (as in the new branches of Specter, Damsel, and Prisoner) and I just wanted to get all of my initial thoughts down and share them with you guys!

So

I TALK SPOILERS, DONT CLICK THE READ MORE BUTTON IF YOU HAVENT SEEN THE NEW ROUTES OR ARE NEW TO THE GAME

The Princess and the Dragon was the first one I did and FINALLY SEEING THE LONG QUIET IN FULL because we're inside the Princess's body is AMAZING!

And the fact it confirms that LQ just stares when he's talking with the other voices, and the voices can share control of the body and they actually have distinct mannerisms! For sure now one of my favorite chapters!

The Cage's design is SO COOL! I'm not disappointed in how the Cage turned out cuz the way the Woods look and the Cabin being on a floating island makes it one of the more distinct Ch.3s. I will say that I am disappointed in how my run of the Chapter went cuz Skeptic turned into one of the worst voices for me when he's paired with Paranoid (my favorite voice and unfortunately).

I've heard that there's actually a bunch of variations for this chapter that end up with a happier ending, but the one I got where LQ gets decapitated and he just watches his body fight the Princess's felt a bit too jaded for my tastes. I'm gonna be experimenting to see what else I can do!

And finally...

OH MY GOD HAPPILY EVER AFTER IS OFFCIALLY THE BEST CHAPTER IN THE GAME!!! (in my opinion!)

I'll be honest, Damsel wasn't really my favorite because going through it as it was was just kind of...boring. Deconstructed Damsel was far more interesting because it pointed out the problems with her as she is (and the doodle is hilarious to boot). The Burned Grey, while a cool design, also wasn't really all that impressive to me because that chapter always ends with you and her burning together (but I do get what that route was trying to get at, which is how destructive a person blinded by love can be).

Happily Ever After takes that same idea and applies it to the fricking Smitten! SMITTEN!!

We finally have a chapter where Smitten is taken to the extreme and I'm all for it. The way he kills us to get to it is fricking terrifying, and the form he ends up taking to control the Princess is also heartbreaking (pun partially intended).

BUT HAVING THE FRICKING NARRATOR FINALLY REALIZE HOW BAD HIS IDEA IS AS WELL?????

Him witnessing first hand the torture of having someone else tell you what to do and how you should be happy as well as what stagnant, never-changing life actually looks like....

And him getting a mini-redemption arc out of it🥲

And gaaaaaahhhhhhh that final dance under the stars with her was perfect😭😭���

I actually didn't want this Princess to go and was so sad when she got picked up by Shifty (its what I felt towards Thorn but like 10x worse).

Overall, I honestly believe that "Princess and the Dragon" & "Happily Ever After" can make great final princesses before Shifty is fully reconstructed. HEA even more so because of Narrator's redemption and I have the sneaking suspicion that getting this as the last Princess might actually change his opinions when you meet him.

The Cage was pretty good, but like I said I need to see a more uplifting variation of it to be more satisfied with the chapter itself.

Since we have officially entered the Aries' season I thought I should honor the fact that it's the Darkling's birthday! 🎉🎊

(No, we don't know his exact birthdate but we know he's an Aries. Anyways)

To celebrate it let's remember some facts about him.

Even though he was a Shadow Summoner, he loved bright colors. Blue, red, purple but most of all the color of sunlight.

Since we mentioned that he was a Shadow Summoner, isn't it endearing and ironic how he feared the dark when he was a child?

Once he didn't sleep for two nights because his mother had left him in a tent without a lantern.

He loved sweets! Cakes, pies etc. but his two favorites were a cake with cherries and sweet cream from Kerch and candies coated in sesame from Shu.

He had trouble mastering his powers as a child. He felt embarrassed for the fact that he couldn't make the Cut at the age of 13.

He could play the violin. 🎻

He was really intelligent from a very young age. Until the age of 13 he could speak three languages fluently and could read people and their behavior like an open book.

He was awkward and felt uneasy around children his own age since Baghra always kept them on the move and insisted not to let anyone touch him or for him to get close to someone.

He never met his father although he kept asking about him to his mother and wanted to meet him. The only thing he (possibly) ever knew was that he was a Heartrender.

He loooved nature. The trees and forests. The smell of them. Especially the evergreen trees. He even decorated his room in the Little Palace with carvings of trees.

Oh and he loves animals too! In the "Demon in the Wood" he got excited in the thought that he would see white tigers for the first time and Leigh once mentioned that he's kind to animals (we even saw that in "The Tailor" when he took time out of his duties to visit his horses, pat them and whisper to them soothingly).

And he actually saw those white tigers eventually.

Apparently he has great good looks to the point that he attracts others (and especially girls) like magnet since forever.

And his life was full of sex so he was experienced with it (Alina, your opportunity to fuck around and find out was literally right there).

The author confirmed (in 2014-2015, years before even the show came out) that he indeed harbored strong feelings for Alina and believed that they were destined for a future together (my man was ready to buy IKEA furnitures for their future house😭😭).

He had many, many half-siblings (one of them was a mermaid) and throughout the centuries he sought them out, out of a need for kinship, companionship and a desire to not be alone (🥲🔫)

This one is especially sad. He wasn't conceived out of love.

On another note though, his smell has been described as the smell of winter, forests and of the night.

In a solar eclipse his powers wouldn't be affected.

He's the Grisha with the most aliases in the Grishaverse (that's what living in a persecuted environment as a child does to you).

It's confirmed by the author that he was created after fantastical villains that she used to love, so please let that rumor that he was inspired after her abusive ex finally rest for good.

He had indeed fallen in love many times in the past but he kept witnessing the people he loved die from their mortality. At some point he just gave up on love and became more and more closed off. (Let's talk about the break he never had💀)

We might not know which person was the first he ever fell in love with, but we know which was the last one: Alina.

Do you remember those countless letters Alina was sending to Mal in "Shadow and Bone"? Well, the Darkling not only kept them secretly but read ALL off them.

He has a throat-neck fetish. And it's probably canon. The way he kissed Alina's throat every chance he got, the way he once nipped it, the collar and how he was always touching it.

According to Leigh, he didn't start wanting to be King. But this ambition came eventually after deeming it the only way to change things.

Kaz has been described as more selfish than Aleksander.

Well most of them turned out to be sad and tragic but that's because he had a tragic life and he himself was a tragic character.

AN: I have to admit, this gave me some troubles to write, as I tend to forget "the bad" as a form of coping mechanism. Lots of thanks to A and G for beta-reading and their help in figuring this out! Thank you for your patience and for requesting this! I hope you like it!

The first time Tanjiro sees you, you split your knuckles punching a man much bigger than you. The wrath and distress practically oozing from you make his nose scrunch up a little, but the situation is dissolved before he can step closer to you. You disappear in the next second like vapor above a cooking broth. It makes him wonder who you are, and why you have so much anger in you.

The second time Tanjiro sees you, he actually meets you. Your form is tense as you administer meds to a few of the slayers resting in Butterfly estate. He vividly remembers the way you laid out that man on the streets… 

One of the slayers says something he can’t hear but the next thing he knows, you’re pouring tea over that slayer’s head, much to his indignation. Yet again, the anger wafts from your figure as you stalk away, overpowering any other scent he might have caught on you.

Is there anxiety? Is there sadness? All he can smell is anger, and it makes his head spin.

The third time he sees you, you’re sitting on the engawa staring at your hands, callused from labor and fighting. An undercurrent of the previous negative emotions seemingly soaked into your clothing, yet your face is blank. He has to wonder, are you always on the edge? Or does he just happen to see you in such situations?

He feels compelled to sit beside you, and perhaps offer you an ear and a kind word.

Perhaps it is his openness and warmth, but you find yourself spilling your life story to him - how your past left a festering wound behind, and especially how your father created a deep chasm in your mind, heart, and soul. You tell him how you simply can’t keep calm when someone reminds you of the inadequacy and loneliness you always felt when under your father’s thumb, the shame and the distress fueling your fists, and you cannot hold back.

Tanjiro simply listens. He offers no judgment to your character, because anger is not what defines you, it never did. He understands the need to use it as a protection, a wall of defense when anything hits too close to home, he understands and he doesn’t blame you. He doesn’t know how it feels to be related to such a person, but he knows just how to comfort you.

He gives you his hand to hold, and reassures you, tells you that that man shouldn’t call himself a father, tells you that you will find happiness, and that’s one thing he will never experience. Karma is free, and it has its way of coming back around.

The warm embrace you share afterwards is the start of something great for you both, the stars being the only witness to your exchange.

Really not looking to start ship wars in your asks so please don’t take this a certain way or anything, you are one of the only helaemond friendly team green blogs I know! I like all the Greencest ships but am particular to helaemond and it’s been so weird to see how TG fandom has turned on these shippers. I get having problems with how Aemond has been written this season, but even before season 2 came out people were making fun of them, there’s a whole dumb Helaemond vs Helaegon ship argument that in all honesty seems fairly one sided, and now it’s a popular discourse about how hoping they (helaemond) have some scenes together in what remains of the 3 episodes we have left 😭 is treating her character poorly. Nevermind there is also no chance for us to explore her and Aegon meaningful either (I actually loved their first scene this season but anyway it is clear that is not happening) and we all want to see more of her? I don’t know it’s all very frustrating, I get people have preferences for one ship over another, it just comes across so mean spirited when we all obviously like the same characters. I also don’t remember it being this way for a very long time, I was lurking in season 1 and over hiatus. This is all so recent 🥲

It's all right, anon, I don't mind the occasional ship discourse. It's been a while, hasn't it? :)) I haven't been on twitter in ages, but is it really that different now than it's been during the hiatus? Because I remember people being very anti-helaemond all the time, I don't even think there was a time where this ship wasn't being called into question over every little thing. Not to mention generally nasty behaviour towards shippers.

It's no secret I've been unimpressed with Aemond's development this season. I am still looking forward to the Phia-Ewan scenes, especially since they revealed they were playing them with a helaemond twist in mind, even though it will remain subtext. But the compounding problem is that they haven't done anything with Helaena this season either. Her big event was minimized as much as possible and her descent into madness wasn't even removed because they wanted her to be less incapacitated. They're not giving her anything to do now post-B&C either! She is simply sitting in rooms or walking down corridors, not having much of an opinion on anything and completely uninvolved in the lives of her family or in the conflict. She is being written without much agency at all: she is the queen, yet she doesn't even seek out anyone or initiate a conversation by herself - everything simply happens to her.

The helaemond vs helaegon argument remains dumb, because they're both equally underdeveloped on screen (the first is subtext, the second is..... criminally absent). Basically the pot calling the kettle black. In both ships and, unfortunately, in all her relationships seemingly, Helaena is just a projection for the other person to react to. She makes Alicent feel sad, Aegon feel awkward and Aemond covetous. Will we ever get a scene that's about Helaena? Forget the Bechdel test, we'll have to resort to the Helaena Targaryen test

So, in that regard, IDEK what kind of interaction she could possibly have with Aemond at this point. Will her story yet again be subordinated to her interlocutor? I hope I'm wrong, but at this point, I expect the scenes between them will actually end up being about Aemond and his characterisation. Will he be the one who figures out her gift of prophecy while she simply exists alongside him in a room? Remember that she never even received one scene next to Dreamfyre - but Aemond did!

It's just so unbalanced and it goes beyond any shipping wars - Helaena doesn't have an arc. She never received one in the first place. In the last episode, she acted the same way she did in S01E08. There's no emotional progression to her character: so far, she's been threatened by Meleys, become queen, had one child brutally murdered in front of her, witnessed her mother's affair and now her brother lies on his deathbed, with an incapacitated dragon, effectively leaving them with only Vhagar operational in a full-blown war. She was a little sad and now she's over it and back to her baseline melancholia. Come on.

It's not the concept of helaemond that's treating her character poorly. It's the fact that they have no idea what to do with her apart from having her glide throughout the castle like a ghost.

Yoba witness, Marnie had the patience of a saint and could understand many things. She waited and endured. She waited. And waited some more. And then some more, more, and some more, truly believing Lewis' words of true love for her.

But to be honest.... it wasn't how she'd envisioned "true love".

Hiding in the shadows, pretending nothing was going on between them (even though rumors of their relationship were flying around the Pelican Town)? Watching the mayor come through her window at night so they wouldn't be caught by the locals during the day? Lying to her own niece and nephew that they've heard nothing and there's no one else in the house but the three of them? Justify the dates with business meetings at her ranch?

How long will this last? How much longer do they have to hide each other for fear of "public judgment" (when really everyone has known everything for a long time and they don't give a damn!)

It's spring now - the time of flowers and love, and Marnie has to stand apart from it all. Immersed in sad thoughts of wasted youth and wishing in the past that she could find the one person she would be happy with. Really happy with.

Marnie calculates how much chance she, an old nag, has of finding someone, and sighs conciliatingly, realizing the dire result. Lewis had good qualities and flaws, like every human being, but why he acted like he really are embarrassed by her presence? And why was she herself afraid to say everything she thought about it? Why can't she-

"You look beautiful today, Marnie."

Those words brought her out of the fog of confused thoughts and bad memories. She didn’t realize that she was now at one of the most beautiful festivals in the Stardew Valley - the Flower Dance.

"Huh?...."

Marlon, whose compliment had helped Marnie out of her trance, was a little worried that he'd said the wrong thing. "Are you alright?"

"Uh, yeah...," Marnie added a little uncertainly. "Just... I got a little dizzy from the smell of the flowers." Marlon's emerald eye was perceptive, but still didn't probe his old friend further. 'You look beautiful today, Marnie...' it had been so long since she'd heard those words....

Why should she keep waiting...?

"Say...," Marnie began cautiously, turning her head toward Marlon, "would you like to dance with me?"

Normally the old adventurer's face was stingy with emotion, but Marnie's question caught him off guard. "Are you sure? I haven't danced in over twenty years..." "Neither have I." Marnie was more sure of her own words than ever. "And don't worry, I don't remember much of the moves either. But who knows what will happen tomorrow? Maybe tonight will be the last chance to have some fun?" Why is she lashing out at him? Why is she even trying? How silly of her-

Marlon stood in front of her and extended his hand to her, asking her to dance. "Then I ask for your hand, and let's go have some fun. Just like old times."

To the smooth music, gathering surprised but approving glances from the other dancers and one indignant glance from Lewis, Marnie held Marlon's hands, letting her forget all her problems and troubles. It was as if time itself had stopped. Just him, her, and their dance.

CLIP ONE Ok, starting off strong. This is one of the top cast clips imo. I love Noah's insistence that he's not wholesome followed by an onslaught of people saying he is HA that's funny. Show us more of your really un-wholesome side, babes. We've seen it a little now. Teased it. Let go a little more. Your captive audience is begging for it. Also also I can listen to him read the damn phonebook. Noah has theee most soothing voice. I'm still obsessed. I wonder how aware this boy is of his gay audience, to be honest? He's gotta be aware of the effect he has on guys. He has to know. There's a whole other side we're not getting and I for one am curious as hell.

Finn's impressions of him, though. They're so accurate! "He's just the nicest person in the world." FINNN. Yeah this one is interesting. Overused word but ENDEARING. Wait wait I forgot how fucking hysterical this interview is - Eduardo as Noah "Oh, it's a life or death situation. Let's go get on a private jet and fly somewhere else!" And Charlie's "God it's so annoying that you have to die right now. Ugh!!" STOPPP - which is what made Finn laugh like this. Boy. Again, funny, but not that funny? He's laughing like he finds everything about the boy he likes hysterical. Or, devil's advocate - it's the fact that Eduardo and Charlie are yet more older man of which is Finn's kryptonite, always acting up and laughing harder just because he LIVES to impress and humor men. Either way. 👀

Just look at him. He was wheeeezing over that bit. Oooh then the poker story. Great moment. Finn, Finn, Finn. "What did he say!? He said something sooo funny." Do you remember word for word what my good buddy Noah said, do you remember, did you memorize everything he's done in our presence like I have? And the other two "Uhh... yeah..." Clearly Noah is someone sooo special to him, love this. Oh, to be a fly on the wall.

Noah better be with Finn and the other guys and anyone else because... someone else just isn't as fun in these interviews! Need him to cut loose and get weird and be silly and gives us the energy. Not giving with hmm. Be nice be nice be nice.

CLIP TWO Oh, the babies! Red carpets are honestly probably the hardest to get through I just want to crawl and hide in the same way baby Finn probably wanted to crawl and hide. He makes me so sad here. Clearly going through it. His nerves 🥲 He's so bouncy and fidgety and oooh it's rough. It's a little rough to watch. And then Noah saves him a bit. Sweet. And then Noah clocks it more and just, keeps trying for eye contact. He knows, and I feel like he so much wanted to slip behind Millie and console him - but how sweet when Caleb sees it, too? This group is so special. Then the very intense eye contact between Finn and Noah? Woah. It really seemed to center Finn a little.

Now, I don't even necessarily read it as romantic (but who's to say that little teenage crushes are impossible at this time) but it's more to me, showcasing this truth in front of us about the place they have now and have had in each other's lives. There for each other. They've probably helped each other out with a lot, down from the edge, a source of comfort and companionship. Beyond the romance chatter and all we love here - this is why Noah calls him a "special person" and the same with him to Finn. There's a connection there, whatever it really means. And it's cool we've gotten to witness something like this. There's a lot of negativity and contention in the industry. I think that's what part of why this group has been so compelling to observe over the years. It's a bit more authentic and real, the intertwining relationships.

Gosh, the longer I watched the clip though - the deeper I pulled my sweater over my face. Too recognizable. Seeing a kid who's both excitable and also in the depths of excruciating anxiety? Looked like a mirror. Wanted to close my eyes.

Well, it may be correct as a short summary 😅. He is that evil guy in the room that ruins everybody's fun for seemingly no actual reason...

However...

Samuel isn't "random"; his actions have solid motives, and those are a sad outcome of bad parenting. He received much more love than Edward or Helena ever did for Samuel was born: a) a boy; b) strong and healthy. Edward struggled, competing with Samuel at the very basic activities, and never receiving support or even acknowledgement from his parents - their eyes were only on his younger brother. In fact, the older male was able to become a monarch only because everybody was sure he would die young, and his father didn't feel a need to correct a succession law.

As for Helena, commentaries are pointless; since she has brothers, she will never have a right to own the crown. The princess had to become just another staple for a new political agreement if a need occurred. The fact that she has never been wed to anybody is rather a miracle.

He was taught that being weak was disgusting. Therefore, in his opinion, weak people should be addressed accordingly.

A lot more can be said. But, in brief, Samuel sees brutal force and total control over people as major basics of running a community. Such words as "tolerance" and "compassion" are non-existent in his arsenal; you either submit to him, or perish. For him, strength of a soul is inseparable from strength of a body; if a person is weak physically, they don't worth to be spent time on.

So, I think now you understand why Samuel treats Edward and Helena as he does. And why he believes that the throne must belong to him.

Athena working by herself?? Aww, I like Apollo as a support for Athena though haha. Mr Whet is an interesting character.. Lmao at Nahyuta calling her a putrid egg yolk, she got demoted from spring chick😂 I knew Blackquill was going to be a witness when he said he frequented the soba shop but loll poor Athena is shocked. It's quite sweet how endearing Blackquill acts towards Athena now. He still teases her but genuinely looks out for her and that's sweet. It's so funny how Athena and Nahyuta keep calling Blackquill back to the witness stand every time Geiru says something they want to confirm😂 I was so happy when Blackquill stood up for Athena and helped her when Nahyuta was trying to control the tide of things by calling on her inexperience. Lmao at Nahyuta saying Blackquill will be reborn as a reverse panda in his next life for helping the defence and Athena's like he'll be fine because he's already used to looking like a panda in this life😂😂 LOL Uendo has fans in his hair as hairpins and they open😂

I have to say, all these guys at the soba shop are so weird, I don't know how Blackquill gets along with them😂 I honestly wonder if Shisho died because he choked on a bun honestly lol. I don't think anyone killed him though🧐 Anyway, I'm happy Blackquill is satisfied with "Sad Monk's" indignant look😂 I guess the thing I'm starting to understand and not particularly like about Nahyuta is that in terms of the theme of the game, he doesn't seem to pursue the truth and is more focused on "winning" whether that means wanting witnesses like Geiru to keep silent etc. Hmm I'm not sure if people with dissociative identity disorder can change personalities whenever they want and instantly but I guess I'll roll with it😆 I loveee how Blackquill slashed Nahyuta's beads when he tried to attack Athena again. Such a great man🥲🥲 I am impressed that Nahyuta remembered the whole Time Soba routine though, that's pretty impressive since you can imagine that he probably knows the others as well, he really thoroughly does his research.

Btw I love Uendo spitting out his tea, it's such a funny animation hahaha! LMAO at Athena and the judge making Blackquill get them the alcoholic manju and sake😂 The more amazing thing would probably be Taka being able to carry all that😂 Lmao, first they got to eat manju, now they're eating soba😂 I love how Blackquill's slash revealed the bandage on Geiru's forehead, he really saves the day here haha! I feel like it was such a silly reason for Geiru to kill Shisho when she could have just talked to him or asked him why. I also feel bad for the dog that ate those bloody dumplings! Anyway, case was average, but Athena and Blackquill were a really fun pair! I really enjoyed how Blackquill pushed her but never really babied her, he only helped her when she needed it, and only bailed her out when she really had no clues. He's great for her learning and I love how he teased her but also supported her. Him slashing the beads to protect Athena was the best moment and really shows how protective he still is of her, and how much he wants to be there to help her grow as a lawyer and as a person. So yeah, honestly, even though the case was pretty forgetful and average, I definitely enjoyed how fun it was to watch them so happily talk to each other and eat soba together! Now maybe they can all quit the salty Eldoon Noodles that will kill them with all that salt and actually go to a good soba place😂

Episode 5 - Turnabout Revolution

Anyway, I really wonder how far away Khura'in is because how did Nahyuta go from Maya's trial back for the soba trial in like a matter of days to a week?? I didn't expect Dhurke to appear in the agency but I guess there's gotta be a reason for Apollo to go to Khura'in I guess? Lmao that Dhurke had a cactus in his hideout called Apollo😂 Ohh wow, Datz has been around since Apollo was around! It's so cute how Trucy calls Dhurke dad hahahha, I mean despite how random Dhurke was to appear here, it was nice of him to appear with sushi haha! I'm happy to finally see Apollo's father but didn't think he was a wandering minstrel, is that why Thalassa left him? Anyway, I'm curious about the timeline of logistics of things because Apollo should be 23-24 right now, his father died 23 years ago, so he died when he was just a baby, but how did Thalassa give birth to Apollo, divorce and somehow pass him off and then basically go no contact and then give birth to Trucy? How did Apollo even end up coming here and leaving Khura'in anyway?

LOL when Dhurke told Ema he does volunteer work in Khura'in to make it a better place, it was even funnier when Trucy said he's Nahyuta's father and Ema felt bad for him😂 I feel bad for Dr Buff if he really died from falling down the ladder after causing an avalanche from his books but I'm not sure about that yet. OMG is the Founder's Orb the "AMI" urn thing?!?! I never expected to see that again, I don't really remember anything about it besides the look of it🥲 I never thought about it but Datz is right that Apollo's "horns" grew up with him hahahahha. Poor kid lost his father and mother, especially his mother who sacrificed her life to protect him. The drone having a "moustache" is hilarious, but I love how the kid is talking to Apollo through the drone. Hmm, so Apollo's father died from an arson and Thalassa disappeared after🧐 It was pretty silly of Dhurke and Apollo to go cave exploring without any equipment and preparation so they should be glad they're alive and actually made it to find the Founder's Orb. I have to admit that I had no clue about the pictures so I had to cheat hahaha. I do wonder what happened to Nahyuta, especially since he was a Dragon before and wanted to change things from the inside. I can see why Apollo was rather cold when Dhurke first appeared. Dhurke promised to come pick him up but it's been so many years, he lost hope in waiting. Atishon is SO annoying btw. I guess he's like a politician in that respect, with how obnoxious and entitled he is.

Lmao at the judge asking if this is a mock trial since Apollo is facing off against Phoenix😂 Athena being baffled after getting lost and dozing off for the whole day is funny🤣 I'm so glad Atishon got kicked out of his palanquin in court but lmao that he was able to even bring it in. I did not expect Dr Buff to have been so into artifacts to steal them😱 LMAO when Phoenix brought out a statement from an elderly neighbour and Apollo was like can we trust the statement of an old man, and Phoenix is like care to say that to the judge HAHAHA. LOL at Atishon sticky taping his placard when he broke it😂 LOL when Sarge stole Widget from Athena. I felt sorry for Sarge since he's basically breaking down from first losing his mother who died protecting him and then now losing his father. Hahahaha he stole the judge's gavel too😂 I feel so bad for Sarge because the reason his father moved to Kurain Village and quit his job was for him so of course he'll blame himself. Awww Armie/Sarge is such a cute 12 year old girl! I was so happy for Apollo for not relenting against Phoenix and fighting for his case. I definitely wasn't expecting the Holy Mother with her face and all in the Founder's Orb.

Atishon openly threatening Phoenix and basically blackmailing him during court is crazy. I'm so glad Dhurke interjected Apollo trying to retract his accusation because I absolutely agree with Dhurke's belief. Phoenix and Apollo should never have yielded to Atishon regardless of the circumstances because accusing and convicting someone else of murder to protect someone is something you should never do if your beliefs are that the truth is the most important thing. As if Atishon would let Maya go if Phoenix won, he'd just keep using Phoenix and continue blackmailing him forever for doing something like that. I'll agree that it's much more difficult for Phoenix though, because not only is Maya very important to him, but he obviously couldn't find a way to ensure her safety other than this. It felt very satisfying to see Phoenix say he resigns as Atishon's attorney, like yes please asap. Lmao at the banzai breakdown😂 Anyway, Atishon probably would have won if he knew who his boss was because it's most likely the queen and she's a spirit medium after all, unless she's lying🧐

I feel bad for Trucy that she got left behind!! That's sooo slack😭 I mean yeah, realistically they need someone to stay in the office but stilllll. Lmao when Apollo just gave her all the unnecessary evidence and she's like you better come back and give me stuff that's not evidence😂 Minister Inga dying was expected but hmmm what happened? It's sad to finally know that because they couldn't identify Apollo's dad, Lamiroir got separated from them and couldn't find them after all the chaos that ensued from the queen's assassination. I wonder if she ever found out that Apollo's father died.. I mean, she most likely knows now but I wonder about back then.. I can't believe Dhurke had his guys go all the way to Europe to get the photo of Apollo's father because some European tourists just happened to take a photo of him when he was performing. Dhurke really is such a great father. Lmao when Dhurke said Apollo has a tattoo of a dragon on his butt and Athena said she wanted to see😂😂 Amara is actually alive but confined?! I'm glad Dhurke found out and saved her. I'm sad that she got captured and confined again though, that's so sad.. she's been basically imprisoned somewhere for years. Dhurke is dying? That's so cruel to Apollo who finally felt like he could bond with him again... I wanted them to enjoy more of their time together after this trial.. LMAO when you inspect the chair in the queen's audience chamber and Apollo wonders how it would feel to sit on it whilst Athena and Phoenix grovel at his feet, this guy hahhaha😂

Ga'ran was the prosecutor 23 years ago?! I honestly didn't expect her to be a prosecutor. I was not expecting Ga'ran to look like that as a prosecutor lol! Pretty wild hair😂 I feel so bad for Rayfa that she had to do the Divination Seance for her father, I'm not surprised she fainted. Dhurke's such a fun and chill guy, I love him😂 LOL when Ga'ran just unilaterally decided that Dhurke is guilty ignoring the judge's role. Lmao at the poor judge having his role taken over by the queen. Lmao at Rayfa saying the dog gobbled Nayna up and that's why she disappeared😂😂 Loll at Ga'ran using her long nails to write😂😂 I was wondering why she holds the law book when she does desk slams, it's so she can change the law whenever she wants hahaha. I'm glad Phoenix told Rayfa how important the Divination Seances were towards finding the truth when she doubted her role and its use. She and her country should definitely appreciate having such crucial evidence. I think it's really sweet how Rayfa isn't hostile towards inconsistencies in her Divination Seance anymore and is instead actively working with Apollo and Phoenix to try and figure out the truth of what happened.

LOL that the laughter Inga heard before he died was from his subordinate's phone who heard Datz laughing at Ahlbi getting scared of firecracker😂😂😂😂 It's pretty wild to think that they channeled Inga and he didn't realise he was dead so he still went to do what he needed to do... That's kinda sad. LOL at Maya getting Inga to get her burgers and a TV to watch the Plumed Punisher when she was a hostage hahahah. I guess she had an easier time than expected😂 Is Nayna Queen Amara?😱 Why couldn't Amara have hid in the sarcophagus after killing Inga? Why is that not a point raised? Okay, Apollo did raise it, but considering how powerful Ga'ran is, I don't see how she wouldn't have been able to sneak her out. But anyway, no evidence I guess hahaha. Couldn't she channel someone and run away? HAHAHA if you choose Amara clung to the ceiling as an answer as to how she disappeared from the tomb, Apollo says she clung to the ceiling like Datz's geckos that he eats😂😂😂😂 I don't understand why she can't channel some other dead person though. OMG, I can't believe Dhurke is already dead... It was hard enough accepting that he was going to die soon but to actually find out he's already dead but just didn't know how to say it to Apollo? I'M SO SAD. I really liked him... I wanted him and Apollo to get more bonding time especially with Nahyuta after this. I'm just so heartbroken right now. It's so sad that Dhurke wanted to see Apollo one last time so he asked Maya to return to the US and channel him. It seems like Amara has been somehow convinced by Ga'ran that Dhurke tried to assassinate her so it's sad that she really does love him and can't hate him even if she believes he tried to kill her.

I didn't see why Amara would kill Inga so I'm glad to see that she still seems to be as kind as she is in the photo and just seems to be forced to do Ga'ran's bidding, probably to protect Nahyuta. It's pretty outrageous for Amara to get shot in court though. It was obvious that Dhurke and Nahyuta were all trying to protect Rayfa but it's still sad to see everyone basically be in control of Ga'ran so that Rayfa would be fine and not condemned to the life of being born to a sinner. Considering that Nahyuta lived that life whether it be on the run with Dhurke or as he crawled his way up to be the revered prosecutor today despite his background, he knows best how difficult of a life this was and how his young naive sister wouldn't be able to survive it. So Nahyuta's glove covered his dragon tattoo all this time🥲 I've always been suspicious about whether Ga'ran can even channel spirits so I'm glad to know she actually can't! It also very cleanly eradicates everything she's passed in terms of laws too since she has no right to be the monarch which is pretty sweet. I'm surprised the Royal Guard only cared about Ga'ran's supposed spiritual power and didn't actually care for her as a person, very interesting because I thought they were just obsessed with her for who she was lol.

I'm glad Apollo decided to stay in Khura'in and help rebuild the legal system with Nahyuta. Dhurke wanted Apollo to take over his law office so I'm glad he did, and Dhurke's wish and goal for so many years was to change the legal system so it's fitting for Apollo to stay and do so. I'm sure Dhurke would have wished for the whole family to bond as well so I think it's a great opportunity for them to all get closer as they help Rayfa become suitable to be queen and change Khura'in for the better. It's sad that Apollo isn't there with Athena and them, but I think it's sweet that Ema would have been in Khura'in for a while haha. It was funny how Apollo is the only lawyer in the country and everyone is giving him clients and going through the backlog of cases, they're gonna be at it forever😂 it's also nice to know that it seems like Lamiroir is ready to tell Trucy and Apollo about their relationship. I've been waiting for it hahaha. Maybe it's time for Athena to shine in the next game assuming we get AA7?🤗

Lmao at Larry appearing and with some lady in a wedding dress haha! I miss Larry. As usual, lmao at the wild life Larry lives😂 HAHAHA, Larry is a picture book author and he wrote Franzy's Whippity-Whip Trip? LMAOO😂😂😂 LOL when the police had the building surrounded all because Larry said he had a bomb😂😂 It's so funny how Athena couldn't take being Trucy's magic assistant anymore and ran away😂 LMAO I was not expecting Ellen to take out a frying pan when Phoenix says he's not sure if he's going to take her case, and then she starts crying into the frying pan hahahahah. I love all her animations, the clanging on the pan is so cute hahahha. LOL I love the animation of her redoing her makeup, it's so good😂😂 Hahahah she has an animation where she moves the frying pan and shakes salt into it as well lmao😂😂 Her ironing animation LOL. This girl has such good animations, I love them all hahhahaha.

Lmao at Maya coming for Larry's wedding😂 Oooo, Edgeworth is the prosecutor! Yay, that should be fun! Sorin looks quite young and quiet lol. I love his animation with the paper aeroplane hahaha. Lmao at Larry's "testimony" which are literally just insults to Phoenix😂 Larry really hides everything as usual and then comes up with the craziest stuff haha. Photos of two timelines? Definitely a wild time travel story haha. I was thinking why couldn't they have held two receptions so it's nice that it's brought up. LOL Edgeworth doesn't intend to get married? Lmao at the judge's silence and Edgeworth feels offended for not wanting to get married😂 I definitely enjoyed this special much more than I thought I would. I found Ellen and Sorin very cute and it was so nice to see everyone in a chill atmosphere haha.

Overall, SoJ's cases were definitely a step above DD's because they were so much more interesting and flowed better but I think I actually prefer the feelings that were elicited from me in DD's last case more lol. Surprisingly, my favourite case in this game was the second with Trucy. I usually like the last case the most but I really like Trucy so I guess I'm a bit biased there already haha. But I also loved Retinz and found it ironic that he was so focused on revenge, he killed and used one of the people who truly admired and respected him for his magic, something he should have focused on instead of the feelings of those who are already dead. It was very emotional for Trucy and I enjoyed seeing her growth as well as her bond with Apollo. I think that everything in the case was done really well. Even though the last case was also really good, I had some issues with it that really made it difficult for me to ignore. Dhurke was really great and I loved the reveal near the end because it was heartbreaking as it was touching. However, I really didn't like how things were handled with Phoenix doing Atishon's bidding because of Maya's kidnapping (although I admit going against Phoenix was really cool!) since I feel like even though I understand Maya's life was in danger so he did what he did, it was also uncomfortable because there were many methods he could have undertaken to get out of Atishon's grasp. Anyway, I also didn't like Amara because I didn't understand why she stayed without doing anything, and yes her daughter was a "hostage" but everyone revered her as a queen and I think she had the power to go against her evil sister and prevent Dhurke's death and she could have worked together with Nahyuta to try something instead of having all the citizens suffer with Ga'ran. I also think they wasted Nahyuta and really neglected him in the last case when he was supposed to be just as important to the whole reveal. Not only did Dhurke not have any last words for him, but I think they were so focused on Dhurke and Apollo's relationship that sometimes I forget Nahyuta is his son. He never really got his time to shine nor did he get to turn the table on Ga'ran and free himself like he should have, his appearance was quite minimal and forgettable, which is a waste and saddening. Ga'ran was also disappointing, yeah she was evil but I would have appreciated her having more depth as a character. She wasn't as capable as she seemed and instead was allowed to do whatever she wanted because no one opposed her. But yeah, Dhurke definitely carried that last case imo with how cool he was as a character and as a father to Apollo.

As for the Athena case, I loved Athena and Blackquill especially the latter's support, and I enjoyed how he didn't baby her and guided her only when she really needed help, so she really struggled but came to being a close to independent defence attorney in her own right. But, the udon case itself was boring and I wish she got a better case lol. I enjoyed the first case with Albhi because it was a great introduction to once again remember how unrelenting Phoenix is towards believing in his client and his beliefs (which is why the Maya thing rubbed me the wrong way) and that he is prepared to die for it. I never want to hear those loud speakers and everything with Andistan'dhin ever again though, guy gave me a headache. I know for the third case with Tahrust Inmee, it was showing the flaws of the system and the consequences of it but I found it very saddening that the guy was going to make Maya die for it especially considering how nice they seemed to get along before everything went down. I did enjoy the spirit channelling and stuff though. Anyway, I went on a bit of a tangent but I think the quality of the SoJ cases were pretty good, especially Magical Turnabout but I'm not a big fan of Khura'in sadly and Nahyuta was wasted, but I guess not as much as Klavier in Apollo Justice lol. Despite my grievances though, I still enjoyed the game quite a bit and would rank it the same as DD for me because the positives and negatives are pretty balanced for me hahaha. I think if I had to choose my favourite to least favourite games, it would go in the order of AA3, AA1, AA5, AA6, AA4 and then AA2 according to how I remember feeling about the games lol, which should be taken with a grain of salt because I played the first trilogy when I first bought a Switch and it's now the OLED days hahaha, I really don't remember much about the first three games. But, I will always say that Ace Attorney is a very enjoyable series if you want something silly but with an interesting and fun courtroom playstyle system that is all about finding out the truth. It's got great emotions and I just love how the mystery gets uncovered step by step as you present evidence and as everyone pieces everything together at the same time since everyone is just bluffing their way to the truth hahahaha.

In both cases, their family members!

Despite everything that family did to him, and despite questioning their methods on occasion, Tarlyn was loyal to his identity as an Icozrin and he lived in service of his den (as far as Oak remembers at least).

Oak loves their family deeply and can't fathom anything bad happening to them. They'd go to great lengths to protect them, including being away from them. This is one of the reasons they were itching to leave Jigow (so as not to risk the Icozrin coming after them there) and be on the move/adventuring.

For Oak, it was definitely when Ahlysaaria announced her plan to "return them to a worthy body." But being attacked by Anil and his goons was right up there too (and as far as they know, Anil was trying to get them to proceed with Ahlysaaria's plan, so it's the same fear again). I think that the attempted kidnapping marked the first time Oak's ever fallen in battle. I might be misremembering tho cuz my memory sucks for these things. I even wanted to ask @skullhaver if they remember exactly what the goons used when Oak went down. Was it the Gravity Stone? (😂 The irony of Oak falling bc of their own invention is truly something.) I'm not sure force damage would leave a scar, tho. It was probably internal injuries that Espen healed. But they sustained other damage in that fight. A lot of it. Some other goons stabbed them. Bad day. Not to mention the fact BOTH ESPEN AND MOXIE fell too!!!! If their friends had died bc of the Icozrin, Oak would have been so so so so sad. It was terrifying.

For Tarlyn, the perfect day would have been the day Ahlysaaria said "You've worked so hard and you've truly honored your den, Tarlyn. I will always be proud of you." 🥲 Lmao I mean, that's the short of it. If you could have entered his mind and seen his daydreams, you'd have seen his perfect day looked a little like this: Some magical invention of his is the breakthrough that revolutionizes weaponry manufacture in the Dynasty and puts the Kryn army at an undeniable advantage against their foreign enemies. He stands before the Bright Queen in the Lucid Bastion, she thanks him personally and by name, and as a reward, he is granted consecution and Den Icozrin is elevated into the ruling class. Everyone he knows witnesses this. His friends are jealous, Ymril is furiously envious, Galsariad wants him so bad; even Essek Thelyss, whom he's clearly surpassed on this perfect imaginary day, notices and admires him openly. His mother radiates with unmistakable pride. She cups his cheeks and kisses his forehead and hugs him tightly and lovingly in private, and tells him she'll always be proud of him. "You were absolutely perfect, darling," is the only feedback she gives him. Poor guy (gender neutral). Every one of those delusions could have been reality and he'd still have been miserable.

Now Oak's perfect day would look something like this: They wake up well-rested and in a comfy bed, and they're somewhere with nature, so they get to spend time outside, maybe foraging for some herbs (as they used to in Jigow), or harvesting them from a community garden (I can imagine Rosohna having some of these). They have breakfast and smoke their pipe in enjoyable company (in Jigow that'd be their family, in Rosohna their roommates, and now it's the Moonlighters), and get "productive." While a perfect day could easily be a work day (especially if they get to learn something new or do something they consider worthwhile, such as investigating Ruidium/helping Alyxian with the Moonlighters), an ideal day is not too taxing (or deadly!) and they get time to dedicate to craft projects. They get really in the zone and they're proud of their own art! Up until 10 days ago in game, Oak would have pictured making dinner, playing games and chilling with friends or family for the evening of a perfect day, but right now they would picture a date with Gal, having deep and nerdy conversations over dinner, and then they work on a spell or puzzle or a magical item or some riddles together. They talk loads and Oak gets to see sides of Gal few people know. There's lots of kissing, and they play with his hair and he hugs them tight. They cuddle.😳😳 (Oak kicks their feet picturing it) No bad luck befalls them or their loved ones on a perfect day, and they try their best to live by their values (be curious, be questioning, be understanding, be compassionate, be kind and be true to yourself). They give plenty of affection, and they feel loved and cared for in return. ♥️

OH I HAVE THIS ENTIRE FIC IDEA that i don't know if i'll write, hopefully, but the way i see it i don't think tom would have a very passive reaction if severus was being bullied in front of him. like in my same age tomerus they did met at hogwarts and there was lily (i love complicating things for severus), but tom and lily's modus operandi are completely different. like tom is not going to have a yelling/scolding fit with either sirius or james. tom straight up sets either of them up for an accident or punish them painfully without neither realizing it's him behind it all 😭😭😭 like after swm (altered ofc in some aspects), days later james potter is sent to the infirmary with deep cuts around his genital zone that can't be healed with simple magic, so he has to get stitches, *real* stitches (which tom made deliberate and it's a nice touch for him bcs "that's what you get for trying to expose sev's privates", he thinks), and nobody knows who did this to him? like who managed without being seen without traceable hint of whose wand did it like there's no CLUE who can do this and get away with it. and it's a bit of a scandal at hogwarts, nobody suspects severus bcs tom planned it carefully and severus had witnesses about where he was studying at when james was getting attacked. and i can imagine sev and tom having a whole back and forth about it, like sev suspected tom immediately and tom wanted to play coy, denied for awhile, and then just caved and admitted he did it. sev is like "😟..." while tom is handing details, saying he could've murdered him very easily, but spared him! like "it's not a big deal, he deserves worse, i was mild about it". there's a silence in which sev is processing he's in love with a maniac, and tom is just seizing up sev's reaction, quietly asks if sev is going to tell anyone, and severus quickly responds that no, ofc he won't, how could he?! and it's a realization for them both. that severus is willing to cover tom up in anything, and tom realizes the same, allows himself to joke and gloat about how james had been turning around like an idiot yelling "who is doing it?" making severus laugh at last about the whole thing, and it's basically sev realizing he has a very insane bf who is willing to go to insane lengths for him but 🤷‍♀️

AND YES OMG i find it so sad that in the end v had to kill sev bcs in his own way it really felt like sev was the only person tom ever had real deferences for. he wasn't supposed to love and he didn't, but i think he must've liked severus in his own way. we're supposed to think he was super evil, but there's no mention of him painfully punishing severus, only thrusting him and not even shaming him for his feelings for lily, he ENJOYED killing james potter and then tried, tried to spare lily once, twice, thrice, more than one could expect. it's stated voldemort taught his DEs the dark magic he learnt, even wormtwil learnt from him, but i like to think too that he specially liked to teach severus, that to him severus was a natural (like himself), and among the obvious grooming (17-18 yo sev being lured by 51yo v?), among the things v must've said to entice severus to his side, surely he must've been honest with some arguments, in seeing talent and potential and there's so much of me in you, you just need the proper guidance. i just think their relationship is so interesting, same age or not, it's bound to have their lives intertwining someway or another. Reading Tom talking sweetly with Severus is actually my therapy. Tom wouldn't realize his feelings but every time he says a word to Severus people around them who hear it would get so jealous because that's not the bored voice they always get from him. I think the only time Severus wouldn't be like "they deserve someone better" is when he isn't with his father. Every au he's growing up with his father would end up damage to his thought about himself. My scale really tried to trick me this morning 😭 it read 130.9 the first time so confidently and I was like…yeah that’s absoLUTELY not possible. But part of me was hoping it was true lol so stepped on it a couple more times and every other time after that read 134.4. Which is still great, I was really worried I gained after eating all that soup, but again, it was all super healthy ingredients.

Already started on laundry for the day…right after witnessing a goose murder 😥 i stg the ppl that live at this apartment complex need help. How are you so impatient to wait 30 seconds for a flock of geese to move out of the road that you decide to just run them over instead of, oh idk, maybe just going in literally the other direction that wasn’t blocked by geese that would’ve lead you to the same place you were going to anyways? Sad. I want to move away from here so badly.

Our buyer’s agent sent us some houses to check out yesterday, but even the cheapest one is still out of our price range…and forget about just finding a different apartment to move to because even that’s becoming outrageously expensive. Saw a “1 bedroom” (really just a studio with a large closet you can fit a small bed in) going for $3200/mo. The perk was you get 1 parking space in the underground heated garage…like that’s the LAST think people care about right now. A heated garage. People are so out of touch, it’s really sad. It’s looking more and more like our only option is to both leave our jobs and move up north more or out west if we want to stay in the state, and I don’t want to do either. I’d like to be around our families for support, especially after my dad’s recent health scare. I’d feel terrible having to move so far away and not be able to be there to help just because people are becoming more and more greedy and the working class can’t afford to even live in a tiny 4-wall unit anymore.

Just waiting to see what my raise will be like at work now. My bf just got another $3 raise at the beginning of this month, I’m not expecting anything more than a few cents, though, unfortunately. My boss was saying how payroll is the company’s highest expense but he’s now planning on hiring his wife for office work and a new person for production staff. So I can’t see my paycheck getting any more livable any time soon. That’s the only thing that sucks about working for a small company.

I guess at the end of the day I just have to be grateful that we do currently have a place to live and both have jobs. We could be in a much worse situation. It’s just sad seeing the way things are going and makes me lose hope in having a stable future. I feel like having my own family isn’t even an option anymore cuz of money.

Hiii I am here! Late to reply but I'm here! And lolll a usual story! It often starts with the men haha. My dad was a huge fan, too, so our TV always had basketball on. But I've come to love the sport even as a spectator! Whereas you've come to use it as a journalist nakkssss 😌😌 hahaha but true. PH basketball is sooo different now. I think it's also the culture. I can't even keep up with the conferences and the players and stuff. Nice to know my UAAP heroes are thriving but it's just not the same.

As for your lovely words... THANK YOU. 🥹 I'm such a context person in that I like exploring the why's of people - why they do what they do and say what they say. It always comes from somewhere, and a lot of it is fear. It's such a human feeling, so is desire. But I love writing about love, too, and that itself is complicated and beautiful. And I know it's just fanfic but it's a way for me to kind of release all these reflections and insights into the world and I'm just happy you're able to connect with these very flawed fictional humans! There's a little of us in them for sure! 💕

Lol sometimes I wish the stories would stop bc I won't stop thinking about them! I literally have scenes and dialogues written up for stories that idk if I'll ever get to actually write but yeah, hopefully there's energy and inspiration to match the ideas.
