#i was too distracted thinking of you

the living room couch was poor refuge for me, practically vibrating with frustration. it hadn't even been that long, a week and a half at most, since you'd caught that stomach bug. a day or two ago all your appetites had come back; eating, drinking, smoking...

well, all but one.

my form loomed in the doorway, my shadow stalking your sleeping body. my heart was in my throat, ears buzzing with ecstatic terror. you had told me i could, after all, so long as it didn't conflict with any other orders. tonight the only order had been letting you get to sleep on time, nothing past that.

so why shouldn't i...?

i crept softly over to the foot of the bed, slipping myself in between you and the covers and ever-so-slowly sliding up. manipulating your legs would be the easy part, i figured. splaying them out and lifting them a bit to give myself access, i tried my best to fit myself quietly.

but you've never been a real deep sleeper...

i felt you stir in my grip and panicked, plunging into you fully and dropping my weight onto your torso to pin you down. my left hand wrapped around your mouth, cutting off any protest before you could groan it out, my right pinning your left arm at the wrist. i couldn't stop now.

my movements were frenzied, mind and body taken over by an overwhelming need to rut. your half-open eyes and muffled moans spurred me on, even if your right arm played at pushing me off you.

i'm sorry momma... i need this... please... just take it and you can go back to sleep...

i don't know what scared me more as i held you down and filled you up with me: the thought of the punishment i might get for this...

or the thought of you making me do this again.

This might seem like an "old man yells at cloud" situation, but it's just wild growing up and being told how dangerous distracted driving is - how, at highway speeds, you can traverse the length of a football field (100 yards, 91 meters) in a matter of seconds - how one split second sending a text while driving could result in a potential fatal crash, and then getting on the road as a driver and being surrounded by billboards. Their entire purpose is to catch one's attention, so they're lining major roads, which tend to be highways. How is it that you're told how important it is to never be distracted while driving, but still being advertised to?

At best, this type of advertising is an eyesore to pedestrians and motorists and a general waste of electricity to light it, and at worst, it is an active danger considering they are there to advertise and therefore, must catch people's attention.

I'm not even against advertising in theory, but this particular mode bothers me so much and I hate how pervasive it is - especially in large cities or highways.
