Volume 4 is maddening as fuck for some reason to find as a heads up for anyone who seeks to get these.

It's one of the most elusive volumes of manga I've ever had the displeasure of hunting down. Purely because of how people seem to lie they have it and ship you nothing. (This happened 3 time...)

when odysseus was showing the suitors the decapitated head and they’re all screaming in terror and agony the chant of “o dy se us” sound way more like a funeral march than a hype battle cry at that time (because the arrival of odysseus for the suitors WAS the final boss, the final battle, one they never return from)

“oh how time has flown” he says as if he didn’t spend each and every single moment desperately wishing he was home 😭 be fr rn

oh athena and odysseus reuniting ripped me apart. it’s so bittersweet. athena is so full of regret she’s done a complete 180 (ruthlessness to open arms) but she’s too late since odysseus went the opposite route. she regrets how she pushed him and how she made him act and she regrets their fights and she regrets how he had to change she regrets how he lost everything to make it home and ACKNOWLEDGES TAHT SHE WAS WRONG which is a massive athena w and somewhere underneath the bitterness and sadness and anger and desperation odysseus agrees with athena. that kind of world buolt on empathy would be beautiful but it’s not the kind of world i live in nor will ever live in again. but you can do it. i’m tired, athena, but you’ll live forever. and i think that he’ll get over his bitterness towards athena for forcing him so relentlessly to becoming the “greatest warrior” when what he truly wanted was a friend honestly i think he’s already beginning to forgive her he just. needs to see his wife right now athena. i love you girl You are so amazing. (don’t think i didn’t see THAT SCAR. HOLY SHIT. ) (IT HURT. )
