#srry to be all vent posts and no art but the stress is high rn #i feel a little better now. i forgot how much i love working with the culture collection #i go in when theres no one there and i just spend a few hours listening to podcasts as i move slime from tube to tube #it forces me to do one thing bc once i start i cant stop. i just like it a lot. i havent done for like the last 2 semesters bc we had the #money to pay a student to do it. and at the time i was in the thick of taking photosynthesis measures and it was causing me a lot of pain #and transfering was like the one lab task i liked to do so it felt like i was being punished. i could no longer do the thing most aligned #with my interests. and i just let it go bc in my brain im not allowed to do things that i enjoy. if i enjoy it its not hard enough.#so i just let it go. and let myself be crushed under the weight of things i don't enjoy and now here we r #a little light has returned to me #and its not all bad. i am looking forward to giving a lecture next week. i like communicating info to others and deciding what to talk abt #ill try to make it fun. if i have the time. and im looking forward to my meeting tomorrow morning. everyone ive met with so far does really #cool research. id be happy to wind up anywhere. but if i get into the big scary uk uni then i have to go there bc the project is so perfect #i dont dare get my hopes up. and tho my interview today wasnt the best i learned some really cool things by talking to the guy and im more #prepared moving forward.#however i did agree to make both my sisters sticker sheets for xmas and that is gonna take so much time i might die. so ya kno rip #but like i said. not all bad.#unrelated

there's an artist I rly like not naming names but one of their ocs looks EXACTLY like [redacted person ik irl] and it always makes me double take whenever they draw them bc for a second im always like ohhh.. that's them..... but they wouldn't do that... it makes me feel soo strange

#like its not just a 'huh they remind me a little of this person' its always 'wait why did someone draw them like that'#like the mannerisms and expressions they give the character are usually pretty spot on too... ah!!#but the characters backstory n setting are wildly different. very bizarre just saw a post of theirs again and it reminded me #anyway!! woke up a bit early feeling a little nauseous but i made myself eat and its started to pass #gonna let myself stay in bed 15 more minutes and then ill get dressed and put a folder of important docs together to take to the gp #cuz idk exactly what theyll need from me in order to register. im guessing photo id + proof of address at minimum #but i wont head out until maybe 9:30 bc they dont open until 8:30 but it might only be for calls not doors the first half hour or so #being very brave!!!!!#oh my prescribers just got back to me too phew. she said i can go back down which is good cuz ive already done that this morning LOL #she suggested i can try 40 again but take 20 in the morning and 20 at lunch since it seems to wear off after 6 hours-ish hmm #maybe ill consider testing that tomorrow. just worried itd fuck w my sleep ahh but worth a try..#i do get very sleepy after it wears off so it might work out we'll see #happy monday everyone muah. go listen to 23 by blonde redhead for me <3<3<3 #.diaries

like a huge part of why i dont fucking do any of my assignmrnts on time or even at all this semester is becaude whenever i sit down to do them i just. I just fall asleep! and then i wake up at 2am three hours before i need to be officially awake and its like well im not getting snything done NOW so i just go back to sleep on purpose then but then it feels as though i only got 3 hours of sleep like those however many hours i got on accident just vanished into thin air all because i didnt sleep in one continuous thing. So im still always so fucking tired despite falling asleep without meaning to all the time. so i get nothing done ever AND im still fucking tired
