My opinions on callouts

Sometimes I see a callout going around and I think oh yeah that was definitely warranted. A lot of the time, I see callouts going around that I don't fully agree with or that in some aspects could have been written better but I understand the other parts. I tend not to reblog these though because when it comes to serious things like that I only want to reblog things that I endorse 100% unless I add commentary, and I don't usually add commentary because it's not the hill I want to die on. And sometimes, whether a callout is warranted or not, it will have been done out of spite--which is not something I would ever want on my blog. A lot of the time though, if a callout is very long and involves a situation I have no familiarity with--to be honest, I can't even read it. Not even because of the content or anything. It's because my brain is just completely unable to parse that much text & that many screenshots' worth of information about conflict. I also don't end up reblogging these even if I do see enough to know I should avoid the people called out because given the fact I don't reblog anything serious that I don't completely endorse, I also don't reblog anything serious that I haven't read all the way through because when it comes to accusations I am a massive stickler about seeing everything with my own eyes.

No matter what, the reason I don't feel like doing them anymore--or even trying to warn people in private as much as I used to in my now-long-ago college days--is because I've learned the hard way that no matter HOW justified your callout is, SOME FUCKSHIT is going to happen in the backlash that makes the situation a whole lot harder. I just don't have the mental capacity or the energy to get involved because callout = you get yelled at and even if I'm 100% sure I'm right I don't like getting yelled at. If one wants to do a callout it involves weighing whether the emotional toll is worth the benefits such as putting your story out there and speaking out about something important to you…Usually for me it isn't.

My favorite type of threads

As you've seen I hate getting involved in OOC drama…But I can't get enough of stirring up drama IC! One of my favorite thread types is anything involving conflict. I have a special love of petty drama type threads, heck in the past I had multiple Pokémon Contest RP events centered specifically around petty drama in the Coordinating scene and my last one even resulted in one of my characters losing his whole-ass CHAMPIONSHIP POSITION because he was a petty little shit. On the other hand, I also love hardcore serious angst--characters getting called out for their faults, villainous/morally grey muses going ham on their targets, threads touching the nerves of deep trauma or muses' deeply-held personal beliefs, horrible fights where everyone says something they regret…If anyone's looking to start a fire, I'll show up with matches and gasoline!

But of course, I can't have angst all the time. I also love seeing my muses happy and especially healing from all the horrible trauma I like to inflict on them--the endgame for all of my morally grey blorbos is finding at least some measure of redemption, healing and happiness. As such I also love tooth-rotting fluff! I haven't threaded these things yet but I have a lot of plots planned and wishlist ideas where my characters show affection and care toward those they love and they get the same back, where my muses mostly Volo engage in lighthearted mischief, where they have fun with and bond with their Pokémon--and since some of them are shapeshifters where they even get head scritches and belly rubs as Pokémon! Man, I always thought I was bad at fluff/slice of life type things because I viewed it as like "small talk" which my autistic brain cannot do, but with sweet events like @floccesyfluff-fest that I had an absolute blast at and the type of threads I'm doing right now, I think that's changing.

My favorite type of ships

I notice that over the years as my desire to write stories covers more and more characters in my hyperfixation regions (and more and more interrelations between my characters in general), I've started shipping a lot more of my characters with each other. The unavailable status of muses like my Steven/Wallace/Zinnia polycule might cause some people not to want to RP with those muses, but when I get a beautiful mental image of two of my characters together I just can't help it, I have to make them kiss LOL. I will, however, do polyamorous ships where my paired-up characters also partner up with other muns' characters in a polycule. So I think now that is my favorite type of ship! GDLSKFJDLKFJ

In theory when shipping with others my favorite type of ship is a slow burn, but in practice I usually end up not having the energy or headspace to write it all out. I usually also stumble into ships rather than approaching someone specifically to ship, which I feel is a much more natural and organic way of doing things--I don't think I've ever thought of shipping my muses right off the bat with any of my partners outside muns of muses who have canon romantic relationships with mine. Once you get to ship with me though, unless your muse doesn't want kids, it's a guarantee that I will dive straight into making fankids because honestly I love fankids as much as I love the actual ships. warning: this is not a good recap. this is not meant to be an accurate recap of the events of today’s stream. this is simply me screaming about it as i process. the later bits are probably not in order.

oh my god. JEEZ. the whiplash from today’s stream...holy CRAP.

first dream starts BUILDING THE WALLS AGAIN IN FULL NETHERITE, then he tells everyone that tommy destroyed the community house and proceeds to show them all the ruins. while they’re in shock, tommy and techno ACTUALLY SHOW UP.

tommy and tubbo fight in front of everyone (lmao ranboo and techno mutually agreeing it was awkward to watch) and tommy straight up tells tubbo the discs were worth more than he ever was??? HELLO??? MY HEART DROPPED SO FAR AT THOSE WORDS. AND THEN THEY FOUGHT EACH OTHER. i was so freaking scared. they’re both on their last life. can you IMAGINE? tommy or tubbo losing their last life to their best friend?? i would’ve cried so hard.

and THEN tommy tells tubbo to give dream the discs!! what the heck!! i was so shocked. (i actually really like that he did that because he’s letting go of the discs and learning to value his friends over possessions. big character arc moment.) and techno’s like “TOMMY WTF ARE YOU DOING” and tommy sides with tubbo!!!! yay for clingyduo being together again!! but also WHAT THE HECK.

and then techno’s all like “you betrayed me, tommy” and just GOES OFF. l’manberg is getting obliterated. and dream tells tubbo he’s an absolute idiot (he was right in his logic, but like...ouch. why would you say that ;-;) he reveals ranboo as the “traitor”!!! hOLY CRAP I COULDN’T BREATHE ONCE HE SAID THAT.

and then dream just turns to techno and says, “withers?” MY HEART WAS POUNDING I SWEAR I WAS ON THE LITERAL EDGE OF MY SEAT. WE GOT THE TECHNO-DREAM TEAMUP WE WANTED BUT AT WHAT COST. (and then he just dipped lmao that was funny).

so THEN. everyone goes back to l’manberg, and i’m still recovering from all that intensity, and it’s so sad the community house was destroyed (my friend suggested that dream did it, which is very valid and smart and probably true). tommy rallies everyone up to protect l’manberg, but NIKI!! NIKI GOES OFF!! YES NIKI!!! she doubts tommy, rightfully, and says that he just expects them all to help him, even tho he’s the reason they’re in this situation in the first place? he destroyed the community house, is he delusional? fundy talks her down, niki tries to convince puffy, so much going on oh my gosh. (plus, she’s right; when asked to swear on twitch prime that he didn’t destroy the community house, tommy hesitated.)

PUNZ joins tommy and says dream’s gone too far. i don’t trust that and i have no idea if he’s being genuine but as of now i can’t decide one way or the other. chances are no. he doesn’t care about l’manberg, why would he think this is “too far”? dream didn’t even kill anyone this time, what’s it to him? would he believe tommy, saying that dream blew up the community house?

but SAPNAP says no! (yesss sapnap) he says that dream is still one of his closest friends (!!!!) and therefore he can’t help go against him for something like this. asjdhfiahifah i don’t even know how to take this but YES i Like it.

then there’s just a blur lmao i don’t really know what happened right after that but the whole ranboo thing!!! aaaahhH!!! he “couldn’t care less about countries” and gives his whole take which i think is very valid and good for him. (sounded a bit like a certain villain there...) eret tries to stop him!! he sees himself in ranboo and wants to save him before ranboo can fall down the same path he did!! niki is...i dunno how she feels about ranboo now and im very sad about that but asjfhasiudhf anyways i think ranboo’s explanation makes a lot of sense and he’s pointing out the flaws in l’manberg’s existence (props to hbomb also for bringing up the fact that l’manberg literally was founded because tommy and wilbur wanted to sell drugs)

god i wanted a dream + ranboo + techno teamup here so bad

and then ranboo goes off on his own to the panic room i think? and his WHOLE MONOLOGUE HOLY CRAP. give this boy an award he did AMAZING. the panic? the uncertainty? the distrust?? oh my god everything was phenomenal. and the dream bit!! i honestly cannot tell if dream was canonically there and gaslighting ranboo or if ranboo genuinely (canonically) imagined him, but. not good. very not good. i’m very excited about it. ranboo villain arc????? PLEASE HE DESERVES TO GO OFF.

the end of his stream, with mellohi playing on a black screen as he muttered and argued with himself...chills, dude.

Something I’ve noticed in fiction and RP backstories is that when a character is LGBT, the parents/family react only one or two ways: Total acceptance with no issues, or rejecting/disowning/beating/attempting to kill their kid/etc And both these things do happen in real life. But what’s also very common, and which I rarely see represented or discussed, is a lot of places between the two extremes. For instance, many families are homophobic, but don’t want to lose their child, and the child wants to be themselves but not cut contact with their family. So you get scenarios like having bachelor Uncle Ted and his also-bachelor roommate Rob, who has been his roommate for 20 years, and may even get invited to Thanksgiving and Christmas. Everyone refers to him as Uncle Ted’s roommate or his friend, and Uncle Ted introduces him that way too, and it’s not until you’re 25 years old that you realize “oh, fuck, Uncle Ted is gay and Rob is his partner!” As bizarre as that scenario seems, it’s a VERY common story. Again, a great many families will, for the sake of keeping the peace, just reach an unspoken agreement that they won’t acknowledge it or bring it up, and that will do the trick. Another common scenario is that Uncle Rob and Ted have been together for 20 years, but you never knew because in this version Ted was never introduced to you, let alone invited to Thanksgiving and Christmas. In this version, the family will still accept Uncle Rob, but he has to do more than just say Ted is his roommate, Ted can’t be in the picture at all and Rob can’t mention him to anyone, especially not his parents or to you kids. You don’t find out about Ted till you’re an adult and between homes and need a place to stay and shack up at their place. It’s totally surreal but it happens. It happens a lot. There are also many parents who will be fine with their kid being gay in theory, but upset at the idea of the kid bringing home a partner. Or they’re fine with that, they just can’t let the partner meet the grandparents or extended family, who aren’t as accepting as the parents are, that’s very often the case. They may also “accept” when their teen or twenty-something comes out, but that’s because they expect it to just be a phase, and become concerned when it proves NOT to be. Or, if the kid is bisexual, they may assume they were proven correct when the kid brings home an opposite-sex partner. There are also parents who have nothing against homosexuality or bisexuality or being trans in themselves, but who have concerns related to what risks their child will be exposed to because of it. I once read an interview with a black lesbian who came out to her mother, and her mother’s reaction wasn’t to condemn being gay itself, but it wasn’t positive either---her mother said “You’re already black and a woman, why do you want to add being gay on top of that?” Her mother’s concern was the oppression her daughter would face. Likewise, a family might love their gay son no matter what, but be worried when he comes out as gay because they believe that this means he’s very likely to get AIDS, and they don’t want that to happen to him. My mother’s very accepting of ALL people on the LGBT rainbow, but she has said to me that she is less worried about me as a lesbian in this regard than a gay man, because STDs are harder to spread between cis lesbians. Speaking of my parents, they’re about the most accepting pair I could ask for. My sexuality is a non-issue to them, and they support all forms of gay and trans rights. But they’re also in their 60s, and not part of the LGBT community itself, and certainly not actively following how rapidly terminology and ideas are evolving now in the age of the Internet; the accepted view and words used around trans people, for instance, have changed really radically just in the past 10 years. So, my folks do hold some ideas that modern Tumblr would deem “problematic” such as my mom feeling that gay men are inherently more artistic and nurturing, because that’s what the gay men she’s known were like. Also, while she does NOT believe this anymore, she used to believe that men became gay because their fathers were bad or absent, because that’s what was the common view when she was a young woman in the 80s, and matched the situation of the gay men she met. She likewise asked me if I was a lesbian because sex with women was more gentle. Again, she knows you’re born gay NOW but in the past, those were common ideas, and the ideas that she therefore was exposed to. It didn’t make her hateful or bigoted, she was accepting of gay people even before I was born, let alone before I came out, but it did make her incorrect and going off stereotypes that corresponded to her own experiences and perceptions. So maybe your character’s mom didn’t have a fit and throw them out, but maybe she did also think that now her son would want to go shopping with her or that her daughter would want to take up golf. Also, while both my parents are very accepting of sexuality, they do get a bit more problematic in terms of how they judge gender expression. My mom is uneasy with butch women, and my dad kind of scoffs/is amused by femme men (yet oddly, has no issue with trans women, nor does my mom have an issue with trans men) This is another VERY common viewpoint I encounter---people not having an issue with the idea of same-sex activity and relationships in themselves, but in how “flamboyant” the person is. With many people, they disapprove of flamboyant gay men and butch women, but oddly in some cases it can go the other way around too; there are people who are just fine with the idea of flamboyantly gay makeup artists, drag queens, talk show hosts, fashion gurus, and hairdressers, but are more uneasy at the idea of perfectly “normal” businessmen or soccer moms who just also happen to be queer. There’s entire articles (probably essays) out there about how gay men in particular are marketed by shows like Queer Eye as basically being cute happy helpers to straight people, the cliche Sassy Gay Friend who just exists for the sake of supporting his female friends, etc. I’ve often wondered if lesbians don’t get the same media presence because we’re not seen as “useful” to heterosexual people in the same way (not that it’s any fun for real gay men to be pigeonholed that way either) So your character’s family may accept them but also start expecting stereotypical behavior from them, like giving their girly-girl daughter a tool kit after she comes our, or they may not BELIEVE them when they do because they’re NOT stereotypical, and that’s the only exposure to gay people that they have from media. You’ll notice I’ve thus far given examples only for a kid being gay or bi. That’s because I’m going off things I’ve personally encountered or heard of. I don’t have a lot of stories on how people react to their kid coming out as trans, but I imagine there’s just as much variation; I would check places like AskReddit for coming stories if you’re looking to find examples of reactions that are likewise somewhere in between total acceptance vs total rejection. For people who are asexual or non-binary, I reckon the biggest issue is just that the parents don’t know what the heck that even is, or don’t believe it exists, but I may be wrong, since I also don’t have much experience with this nor heard much secondhand either. Again, I’d seek out real stories from people and see what ideas you can get from those. Everyone’s coming out story or story of a family member’s coming out (or how said family member never came out, etc) is a little different. I hope this was helpful!

First game night. Absolutely one of the best nights I’ve ever had. Hilarious. Can’t wait to do it again. The fact that we named the killer Asher was AMAZING

Hello if it’s not clear from what I’ve been saying then idk how to help you. The sheer vastness of content for all the rp you could ever want is right there man. So much opportunity! All the little details and plots too!! Bonus, you get a friend that will give you head pats- no, wait. those are mine. But still, good fren! *pats their head* A lot of friENDSHIP can fit in here

How Others Should Approach Them

You could toss them some memes. Pretty sure they crave them lol ( Not like they don’t post about it ). And as a multi I am well aware of the specifying muse deal but I don’t think they mind so much that they won’t answer. You’ll just get whatever they roll lol BUT definitely specify muse if you can bc like I said, as a multi, it’s just better that way especially with the number of muses they have. OR you could do the big brain move and IM them “Hey I wanna write with you but I have no idea where to start with your muses. Do you have a preference?” and you guys can talk about who would mesh well together and then you can send memes or write a starter or even get a starter! Pretty sure it’s the same for anyone.

Funny note on that one tho. I think they approached me ooc by just sending my a post in IMs. I don’t even remember what it was or why they sent it. I was wildly confused but ya know. Gotta start somewhere lol Point is, you’ll be fine approaching them however you do. Just don’t ghost.

Other Roleplayers I’d Recommend To Them

You could write with the Teares’ siblings ( in the verse where they are related at least. Haven’t talked about if that’ll be a main thing or not ), baby sis @the-wonderland-jinx and Aeron’s twin @faultycode. The other muses on there are also great.

@klavz is a great Klaus imo. The dialogue is so on point. Like I could actually hear Klaus saying those things. Whether you feel the same is up to you but... definitely give ‘em a chance.

There are others but it’s more of a general ‘I like them’ rather than having specific reasons you’d mesh well with / be interested in them.

I like writing with them. I like talking to them. I think they’re pretty cool and I think other people ought to check them out. A summary by me

That thing where Aeron drops into Wonderland and runs into Soulless!Asher is still in my drafts if you still want that to be a thing. So not all things were lost! lol

But getting back to the question, outside of those sort of things, and being more specific than just everything... T.he G.ood P.lace plot seems good. Pretending these people got into ‘heaven’ when they’re actually in a special hell that tortures them psychologically by picking a set of people that would eternally torture each other bc their personalities and behaviors clash perfectly. Asher ( or all your deadly sin demons really ) would definitely get a kick out of that I bet. Especially on Aeron. Ooo and Oliver.

A muse I want to introduce to them

Max. He’s a muse that’s gonna be on my other multi. He’s a soft boi like Oliver but not as fragile. Very friendly, and actually not human! He’s a changeling that ended up being raised human. Still working on him but I feel like he is basically the peak of my creativity lmao

I mean I know we mentioned it but Post!Oliver and Tancred would be cool. And I say Post! bc I’m pretty sure Tancred would stay the heck away from him otherwise lol

Also! Lorelei should meet Killian sometime. I’ve never really figured out her and Oliver’s relationship soo... It’s bound to be interesting whatever I do on the fly lol

Best ways to approach you for rp/plotting: the best way is just to straight up approach me. most often than not, just liking a post is not enough because it’s too vague ?? like if i post an idea & you like that, i’ll still be hesitant when it comes to roleplaying or approaching you because, while i appreciate such gestures, i’m just too anxious. therefore, plopping into my IMs without a properly fleshed out idea is also fine ! it, at least, gives me the hint that you’re actively seeking interaction. however, just saying “i want to roleplay & plot !” won’t cut it; at least, have something in mind, please !

What expectations do you hold towards your plotting partner: basic ideas & pouring their heart into plotting! i don’t mind waiting, at all, so if you’re busy, don’t worry about keeping me waiting; i completely understand since i’m also often busy with work or university. but !! please don’t only come to me with the statement: “i want to plot!” it’s not gonna cut it & it’s not gonna help with a proper interaction, at all. if i approach someone, most often than not, i have SOME sort of idea in mind. but yeah, being passionate is the most important thing!

When you notice the plotting is rather one-sided, what do you do?: most often than not, the conversation will die down because i will loose motivation; i don’t like it because i’ll feel like a bother & i shouldn’t feel that way when it comes to a hobby! therefore, one-sided plotting is one of my deal breakers; i usually end the conversation & there will be little to no interaction happening. like i said; i don’t mind waiting, i just hate that feeling of coming on TOO strong when my plotting partner delivers no input.

How do you usually plot with others, do you give input or leave most work towards your partner?: often than not, i start off with rather simple question like; are you interested in a certain verse ? do you already have something in mind ? if not, i will go through their about page & ask them things about their character & how that could possibly bring our characters to interact. sometimes, the about pages of a muse cannot give you every single bit of information; muses grow & change with each thread, therefore, it’s often better to just ask the people about their characters ! & from then on, it often just comes naturally.

When a partner drops the thread, do you wish to know?: YES / NO / DEPENDS. - And why?: if the thread is not THAT important or vital for our character’s relationship; i don’t mind & won’t need to know if the thread is dropped. sometimes, if it’s a heavily plotted thread & i’ve anticipated the interaction a lot; i’d appreciate a quick heads-up from my partner that they’re not feeling that certain thread any longer; i don’t mind that !! - What should your partner do when dropping a thread?: they don’t need to tell me; SOMETIMES, it’s just a nice gesture but most of the time, i don’t care, we can always start another thread !!

What could possibly lead you to drop a thread?: many things can lead to me dropping a thread; just losing motivation, having no muse for a certain genre or simply having the feeling that my partner is not liking it, any longer (ex. extreme lack of trying to match the reply length ). my health & my schedule can also, sadly, affect my motivation, so, more often than not, i tend to drop shorter threads & keep longer ones. - Will you tell your partner?: YES / NO / DEPENDS.

Is communication in the rpc important to you? YES / NO. - And why?: i get anxious really fast if people stop replying for a very long time, out of the blue. it has happened to me once before with a good friend with whom i have no contact with any longer due to miscommunication & them not trying to communicate the issue with me; therefore, yes, it is very important. i wanna know if something is bothering you; i wanna know if you like something very much; i wanna know what’s up ! we’re humans & we’re adults; we can talk about this. - Are you okay with absolute honesty, even if it may means hearing something negative about you and/or portrayal?: yes ! as long as it is constructive criticism & not straight-up bashing my characters or lore; i’m all for it. i don’t mind hearing negative things; in fact, i appreciate the honesty & it gives me room to work on myself & my writing ! - Do you think you can handle such situation in a mature way? YES / NO.

Why do you rp again, is there a goal?: building relationships that LAST & exploring my muses through & through; it is amazing how much yuna has grown through interactions with others; how different she has become from the yuna i once started out with; it’s almost been a year now & it’s just amazing. however, i’m not stopping anytime soon; THERE IS SO MUCH MORE I WANT TO EXPLORE !! the ultimate goal is for me to just look at my blog & be completely proud of what i have accomplished & written; i want fleshed out relationships & threads; deep stuff !!

Wishlist, be it plots or scenarios: yuna talking with someone about her struggles; mentally & physically. being open about her abusive father & how it has traumatized her & painted men in the worst picture one could imagine. HOWEVER; a hard thing because i don’t want these things to be pre-est or something; i want a thread where there is struggling, screams, conflict ! it is rather hard to find someone, though, who is willing & fitting to go onto that long journey with me & yuna. also, i’d love to write about darker stuff; i love fluff, though, sometimes i sure want a bit of that, too.

Themes I won’t ever rp / explore: the only things i won’t rp or explore are stated in my rules; ex. pedophilia, rape & really descriptive animal abuse. killing, torture, gore as well as cheating, heartbreak or toxic relationships are okay, while i do prefer to have a deeper bond with someone while exploring the latter & be communicating the whole time; i think these are really REAL topics & that’s why i wouldn’t mind exploring them because it does happen, more than one would like them to happen. however, if i see you, the mun, glorifying or romanticizing these; just no.

What Type of Starters do you prefer / dislike, can’t work with?: i like everything with some sort of substance; i love short ones as much as long ones, nevertheless, you have to give me something to work with. yuna would ignore anyone not of any interest or value to her; therefore, if your muse just asks her random questions, the interaction will go nowhere. if you’re unsure; just ask !!

What type of characters catch your interest the most?: i love characters with uniqueness to them; it can be a certain interest, certain appearance or their species can be totally unique to them; i’ll love it ! i do have a thing for villains, though; always had, even when i was young 8^) so, dark, stubborn & “evil” characters catch my interest far more than a really nice muse who just is all smiles all day. i love a muse that can kick mine & yuna’s ass, basically. someone with strong morals or who is just really set on their beliefs can also offer conflict which i ADORE !! i need it; i live for it !!

What type of characters catch your interest the least?: really kind & unbothered muses who are self-sacrificing, perfect & loved by everyone for no reason ?? idk, i just think it’s bad writing. everyone has flaws; no one is perfect !

What are your strong aspects as rp partner?: i am a very open person who will talk with you about anything & is keen on exploring our character’s relationship at all times & through all means; i often send my rp partners prompts in form of my yuna just being her dumb-self or through memes ! i will constantly think about our characters & will try to have them interact as much as possible. i am, most of the time, very active & respond to the threads fairly quickly ! if i am totally invested; you’ll get everything you want; a moodboard, an edit, a drawing, etc. i literally pour my heart & soul into every bond my muse has; i live for them. oh !! i also love asking people question about their characters; i just love learning new things about them !!

What are your weak aspects as rp partner?: i’m very slow out of character; i don’t approach muns a lot because i’m scared to be a bother, working on it ! i often ramble a lot & my writing can become a bit convoluted & hard to understand, i apologize ! i tend to not message people on discord as often as i’d like to; mostly because i’m really socially awkward or just don’t think that what i want to show to them is THAT important. i’m not as straight-forward as i wish myself to be; however, even with all that; i still have a lot of fun & am acknowledging & actively working on my weak aspects !

- What could possibly make your Muse interesting towards others, why should they rp with this particular character of yours now, what possible plots do they offer?: i think yuna is a person with whom it is easy to form relationships with; it takes a bit of time but due to her rather drastic ideals & opinions; anything can be founded within seconds. she doesn’t hold back when it comes to her honesty & conflicts will arise. also, for all muses with demonic or deity backgrounds; being a daughter of the literal queen of hell, though, also harboring fragments of a god’s soul makes her unique in the supernatural world which can spark interest with your character or even they can develop an ill-will towards her ? i think it’s really interesting exploring what makes one work & go on & yuna has the philosophical potential to tickle that out of your muse; she question EVERYTHING. now for certain plots; one-sided love or even friendships are always really interesting, especially when she is the one having such feelings. other than that; she has enormous & dangerous powers; so if you’re into character or world-building; can offer that as well !

- With what type of Muses do you usually struggle to rp with?: humans; she doesn’t approach humans who are just kind & have nothing to offer for her, the least she’d do is have sex with them or kill them to harvest their life energy. i’m sorry but she really does hate all of humanity & to change that opinion ? man, you must be the most stubborn person ever. - With what type of Muses do they usually work well with?: characters who are of supernatural or demonic nature; she’ll be very interested & even nosy to a point. also, very attractive characters who are not afraid to speak their mind; she’s really superficial most of the time & will flirt with anything that she deems good-looking. muses who have ideals that contrast hers or that are similar to her but also, generally, people who are open-minded.

- What interests your Muse(s) in general: sex, parties, plants & flowers, astronomy, writing, demons & hell, the underground scene, killing, knives & playing the piano - What do they desire, is their goal?: the questions that bother her the most are; why did her mother had to die ? why would nobody help her while she was being abused by her father ? why was she kept alive by her sisters ? is there love out there for someone like her ? what do these strange visions mean that occur almost every night ? she has a lot of things she wants to experience & wishes to have a normal life once she has killed her other mother, lilith, which is her ultimate goal, at the moment. - What catches their interest first when meeting someone new?: their appearance; the scent of their blood & if it differs from humans; how they react towards her & what they do in front of her. - What do they value in a person?: strong opinions, loyalty, good looks, humor, strength (not limited to physical strength) - What themes do they like talking about?: herself or the world & the state of it; she likes being philosophical with some, can often be somewhat self-centered; THOUGH; it is almost always for her to see how they would react to that.

Something you may still want to point out about your muse?: Yuna is basically pandora’s box personified; she may seem nice & attractive from the outside but within her are sleeping demons that only wait to be awakened. & withal, she is still a cutie who will become your number one supporter & protector if you manage to build a proper relationship with. it’s hard to get through that shell & what awaits is NOT that pretty but with years upon years of abuse, neglect & shit being thrown her way; it’s not easy being a carefree immortal.

What expectations do you hold towards your plotting partner: Ideas and somewhat more enthusiasm than me. I tend to shy away or feel very much awkward right off the bat if the person approaches me with not much to say or give. And honestly, some people really intimidate me because I am too hard on myself, so giving a bit of a pat on the back makes me relax more. I deal with a lot of anxiety and I know people run away the second I show it.

When you notice the plotting is rather one-sided, what do you do?: Mostly when I am doing the talk or coming with ideas or looking generally more interested. It takes effort for me to get on things and actually do stuff but if it’s not the other way around I end up thinking they got bored of me. I am one hell of insecure person. As for what I do, if after many tries of trying to reach another person and end up feeling rejected or ignored, then ... I stop. What’s the point of insisting if the other person would just be awkward or not spare you a word?

How do you usually plot with others, do you give input or leave most work towards your partner?: well, I usually ask first what the other thinks or have in mind, if nothing, I either suggest or start brainstorming with the other person. I know some who have dealt with me at first I seem like a dettached person but not having ideas really makes me feel like I have not much right to talk. I want to give yet without impossing or letting it twist my arm. I know for a fact nora’s lore really doesn’t help shit for most things.

When a partner drops the thread, do you wish to know?: YES / NO / DEPENDS. - And why?: if the thread was meaningful and we were really into it , then I would ask but as for the most, I don’t really bother with it. Sometimes people just lose muse, and even if I was enjoying it, I don’t have the right to force someone or ask why they stopped. thread dropping is normal, i guess. - What should your partner do when dropping a thread?: whatever they want. telling me or not is up to them, I don’t really mind. RP is not something SUPER serious like it should be just perfect. I try to convice myself of this a lot.

What could possibly lead you to drop a thread?: either because it was old as fuck, I couldn’t find muse or because it was lost in the void of tumblr’s amazing tracking system. - Will you tell your partner?: YES / NO / DEPENDS.

YES / NO. - And why?: if I do not have some idea of who am i rping with and what they have in mind, then it’s nearly impossible. being purely IC is really uncomfortable and could lead to a lot of misundertandings. - Are you okay with absolute honesty, even if it may means hearing something negative about you and/or portrayal?: yeah. mostly yeah -- I mean, I will feel bad, I do have feelings, but I will take it with water. - Do you think you can handle such situation in a mature way? YES ( but I will feel bad anyways ) / NO.

Why do you rp again, is there a goal?: connect with others, ramble a lot about characters, have fun. I’ve been rping since i was 12 ( back then it was not big deal your age apparently ) and having to connect with other people by making these plots and stories and just having a fun time is something that brings me joy. There’s so much that can be done. And exploring my muses with other muses influences is really helpful to fill the holes left due indecisiveness.

Wishlist, be it plots or scenarios: I wish people joined my lore more. Having muses that could be in the same story department as Nora in particular, would be hella and inspire me more. There is so much I have. Explore nora’s power is also something I want but it’s hard -- it’s very invasive and not many would really like it, feeling it’s meta. For now, I don’t really have other muses and Spike has her little crew outside tumblr.

Themes I won’t ever rp / explore: umm, it’s hard to think in something in particular. But mostly stuff that collides with nora’s story/character. but there is a lot I am willing to explore.

What Type of Starters do you prefer / dislike, can’t work with?: casual starters are my fab. It’s easier to figure out how to go or stop and think. plotted ones also work. as for what I dislike or cannot work with, things that force my muse to not act how they would? not giving me something solid is hard to handle.

What type of characters catch your interest the most?: I really like out of the norm muses, something that you see and say /oh , look at that/. Aesthetically, story wise or personality wise, something that goes out the usual troup most would use. I do have a guilty pleasure for opposite to my muse characters --- something that would really show the contrast with one another.

What type of characters catch your interest the least?: Very basic ones? or those who try TOO hard to be special. A character that doesn’t fit in the context they are in, esp. in fandoms. HEAVILY divergent characters that just basically turn them into OCs. I know I sound like a bitch but I am the type who respect canon and the actual author behind the character too much. Also those that I don’t know much about? as in, the fandom never managed to catch my interest or smth in that line.

What are your strong aspects as rp partner?: I know where is the line between fiction and reality. And that what your character does it does not reflect as the person you actually are. I am pretty laid back and I understand people’s views and reasoning. idk. I draw a lot if I am super invested ?

What are your weak aspects as rp partner?: I am super sporadic and can go from being super active to flat out dead for weeks. my mood swings a lot with the amount of attention I get, as horrible as it sounds. I am very anxious as a person for reasons ( not IRL mostly, just bad experience from previous partners ). I promise a lot but do little? honestly I will just bad mouth myself if I keep writing this.

How much she fakes, how much she is sincere, how much she struggles or how relaxed can be. force her to show her real self, which is very hazy even for her as a task. Be very poetic deep and also very shallow. I particulary see her as a character that REALLY depends on her relation with the other muse -- but generally speaking for any of my muses: I love to explore them as a pair and as individuals. - What is your smut tag?: the unfamily friendly. Nora is a mentor type of character, she is here to be a support and help others explore themselves and learn. Also if you are a minor, she will most likely try to get close to help -- one must protect the good sad kids.

- With what type of Muses do you usually struggle to rp with?: Stubborn, very fixated with things. Who would not open themselves to other perspective without thinking someone is trying to change them. Also she would struggle a heck lot with psychopaths and sociopaths, or anyone that “doesn’t have a face” for her. - With what type of Muses do they usually work well with?: Curious people, struggling ones, kids in general -- people that are willing to listen to her opinions and try to improve in a positive way. Also those who are quirky in a way.

- What interests your Muse(s) in general: rabbits, literature, interesting people, the unknown, learning, relationships of all natures. - What do they desire, is their goal?: Live long without letting her particularity ruin her -- for her kind nobody makes it past the 50s and she wants that , to conquer her ability and prove that even with something like she is ( they are ), it’s posible to live and be happy. have a family of her own, yeah she is that cheesy. - What catches their interest first when meeting someone new?: Their actions and the emotions that they are carrying on their back. - What do they value in a person?: sincerity, willingness, enthusiasm. - What themes do they like talking about?: a lot of phylosophic stuff, deep topics -- as well to casual things of life. about people and society. - Which themes bore them?: excuses and avoidance -- people who are willing to drop everything and give up.

What expectations do you hold towards your plotting partner: some minimal idea of the context and eden’s character . some ideas if possible . more than often I have gotten people straight up jump with no clue of what even is going on in my side character wise .

When you notice the plotting is rather one-sided, what do you do?: depends , most likely really stop trying or let it sink . I’m not much of a person who would pressure for ideas when they don’t even come naturally for me in these kind of situations .

How do you usually plot with others, do you give input or leave most work towards your partner?: First of all , ask what they particularly want and if they read the bio . and of course , have their bio as well ( if oc or any relevant hc on vague canons ) . I am honestly a bit shy on the input but if I found a ground to start letting my imagination loose ( like , something in common between characters or something that clicks well with my muse ) I can suggest several things . but in any case , I’m pretty passive and it’s a lot of gives and takes .

When a partner drops the thread, do you wish to know?: YES / NO / DEPENDS. - And why?: depends on the thread , the time and the interest . things that go downtown in the excitement scale are :/ and I can’t blame anyone for dropping a thread . not all the time you will have muse for them , tho , if it was a relevant thread I would ask at least . - What should your partner do when dropping a thread?: pretty much free to tell me or not . I’m no one to judge.

What could possibly lead you to drop a thread?: losing muse , interest , time ... pretty much the same . feeling like my muse is going too OOC for the sake of the other muse or smth . - Will you tell your partner?: YES / NO / DEPENDS.

Is communication in the rpc important to you? YES / NO. - And why?: I am very old school and having some OOC interaction to at least know how things are going , it’s as much as I can ask here . - Are you okay with absolute honesty, even if it may means hearing something negative about you and/or portrayal?: I mean , I should . it can turn me off a bit but it’s just natural ? there’s no way something can be perfect or be of someone’s taste . plus I am not that smart to be fully aware of all the things around the motif and IRL information I use on my muse . I’m no book , buddy. - Do you think you can handle such situation in a mature way? YES / NO.

Why do you rp again, is there a goal?: development , exploring the muse , seeing what works and doesn’t work . often new blogs for me are basically prototypes , they are and will most likely have minor or major modifications as my imagination starts working and getting excited . besides , in the basics , you can hardly manage to cover all ( if anything ) of how one’s muse would react to X situation .

Wishlist, be it plots or scenarios: a lot of quincy lore , come up with more personal connections with other quincies , fully develop a backstory and a post war scenario . cultural exploration --- relationships of all kinds .

Themes I won’t ever rp / explore: pretty much I am fine with anything as long as we don’t cross the gross line . but I’m not afraid of the dark .

What Type of Starters do you prefer / dislike, can’t work with?: absurdly basic and with no context given . not even have an idea of what is the deal between muses . I can squeeze my brain but there is as much as i can do with little information .

What type of characters catch your interest the most?: quirky ones , conflictive ones , most likely muses with specific motifs that spark my interest -- deepness . Aesthetically interesting ones . but overall , those who have out of the normal personalities .

What type of characters catch your interest the least?: personalities that doesn’t work or do not harmonize with the context of their characters . that’s all I can say .

What are your strong aspects as rp partner?: I am.... creative ? gdi I did this meme already but it’s hard to reply these two ones. I am easily excitable . if we end up in a ship , expect me to be pampering af . I really enjoy the exploration of relations between people , emotions and psychological stuff tied around it . I do like casual and also very deep things . I’m not afraid of dealing with heavy topics . I like horror ???? also I am very into the secondary character role , as in : my muse is here to help your muse to grow or insight . that stuff . not much of a protagonist role in RPs.

What are your weak aspects as rp partner?: I’m .... very.... sporadic . My mood is annoying esp when I’m “new” blog around kind of thing . I’m shy , even if I don’t seem so --- I get pretty anxious over details . I am impatient --- with myself . I want to do so many things at the same time I end up overwhelmed .

At least pre war . post war , she has a flipped personality were she is mostly bitter and more angsty but will go from fanatic to straight up hater .

- With what type of Muses do you usually struggle to rp with?: bland personalities ? not sure myself , Eden is pretty much ready for anything since her personality is pretty laid back . I guess I would say shinigamis in general --- since she basically is stuck inside Silbern . - With what type of Muses do they usually work well with?: Quincies , ofc . and people who are willing to put up with her crap .

Best ways to approach you for rp/plotting: Pms, mostly. If you have me on discord, even better. I have both apps on my phone too, so I’m usually good about replies; granted if I’m not busy, left my phone somewhere in the house, or am asleep.

What expectations do you hold towards your plotting partner: Well, I tend to be the type that actually fails at coming up with plot ideas. It’s not that I don’t think of anything, but that I’m either too shy or my brain is too exhausted of ideas. So I guess just enthusiasm works for me, since it gives all the same energy! Especially when talking about ships (including platonic and hate ships) between our muses ‘cause that usually helps lead into some potential plots, as I’ll always be up for discussing new stuff for them; like how we want to develop them, where will they go, when will they get there, etc.

When you notice the plotting is rather one-sided, what do you do?: I’m a bit of too quiet to say anything really, kinda like a pushover. But if I can gain the confidence, I’d prefer to ask what’s going from my partner’s end. If it turns out they’re really not interested then, and I hate to do it, we’ll just drop it. I want us both to be having fun, and if they’re not into it, then it’d be too selfish of me to try and continue it.

How do you usually plot with others, do you give input or leave most work towards your partner?: Again, I’m pretty terrible at it, so I’m usually a go with the flow type person. So unfortunately, that leaves most the plotting to them, unless my brain decides to wake up. But when I do have an idea and have the courage to, I’ll pitch it to them. Usually my plots end up starting out as some random headcannon between our muses and their ship, and then it falls into the fascination of ‘I wanna rp that now’, just to see it have a story.

When a partner drops the thread, do you wish to know?: YES / NO / DEPENDS. - And why?: I get anxious easily. So whether or not I was really into it, it’s nice to know, and easier on my nerves if it was something I was really into. However, it’s not entirely and outright demand that they do all the time. - What should your partner do when dropping a thread?: Not required, just preferred that they just let me know.

What could possibly lead you to drop a thread?: Two things. Disinterest is one, and pretty self-explanatory. Then there’s if I just lack the energy for a certain amount of time, after several attempts to actually reply. I usually hate to drop threads. But if I feel there’s absolutely no way I’ll be able to reply, then I’ll either pm my partner directly or make out a post and tag those I’ve dropped threads with, if it’s multiple. - Will you tell your partner?: YES / NO / DEPENDS.

Is communication in the rpc important to you? YES / NO. - And why?: Even though I’m terrible of communication, I still like to hear from my partners every once and a while. It’s kinda why discord is easier to get a hold of me ‘cause, since I have two servers there I mod/admin, I usually check it and will answer there more often. - Are you okay with absolute honesty, even if it may means hearing something negative about you and/or portrayal?: I wanna say yes, but there’s that anxiety in me that says no. It’s a hit or miss with me. I usually try not to get defensive, and most the time won’t. It’ll just end up making become a bit more cautious, confused, or reclused, depending on what it is; and that’s all ‘cause of anxiety. - Do you think you can handle such situation in a mature way? YES / NO.

Why do you rp again, is there a goal?: Mostly to have fun. Also so I can explore my muses and work on my creative writing. When people like what I post too, it makes me extremely happy and excited, wanting to pour out more! So really, not much of a goal other than just share my thought process and ideas.

Wishlist, be it plots or scenarios: To roleplay and post more stuff for Mizuiro. And to build more relationships of all kinds for my muses, especially my ocs. I’d also like to explore darker themes for a few muses as well, though that’s a bit of a tall order... Not too people can handle or are willing to deep dive, so I’m not sure if that’ll happen really.

What type of characters catch your interest the most?: Better question is; what type am I not into? Though truthfully, I’m really into characters with a lot of development, an establish backstory of any kind, and just about any that can capture my heart (which isn’t hard to do btw). I’m not picky and I have very few I truly hate, except for their person rather than the character.

What type of characters catch your interest the least?: Flat, one-dimensional types with very little development or their own story. I like seeing the ins and outs, the positives and negatives of a character. I want them to put me on a roller coaster of emotions, since that’s life in a nutshell. If they can’t, then I’ll lose interest quickly. Also mary sues/gary stues. Characters that just don’t make sense or follow the universe’s logic are also a major turn off.

What are your strong aspects as rp partner?: Oh boy... I guess my dedication and love for my muses’ ships. It’s not much, but only thing I can think of. I also try to keep an open mind, be as understanding as possible and to support my partner wherever I can.

What are your weak aspects as rp partner?: My inability to reply to drafts that have been sitting for a couple of weeks. I want to reply, and yet, as soon as I open the draft and get to work, my brain blanks. It’s really frustrating.

More out of fun or character development?: Just about whenever, as long as partner is up for it. And it’ll be for either or, depending. For certain ships, such as Kaede and Kenpachi, I feel it is part of their character and relationship development, seeing as they’ve managed to grow a deeper bond with each other through it. For other muses, such as almost anything with Amaterasu, it’s usually out of fun. - Anything you would not want to rp there?: Eh... not really, unless partner is uncomfortable with it.

- What could possibly make your Muse interesting towards others, why should they rp with this particular character of yours now, what possible plots do they offer?: Usually that’s up to the other’s interpretation of the character. But Kaede has some potential, developing surprising friendship despite her division’s reputation. She’s bit of an opposite from her captain and co-lieutenant, probably being the most patient and kindest of the three, as she’s the only one to pursue any friendships. I would say I’d love to find more plots in reference to her backstory, whether some random character she befriends or is enemies with finds out her birth, or she feels to rekindle a past friendship.

- With what type of Muses do you usually struggle to rp with?: ... I dunno if I really have an answer for that. Kaede’s one of my easiest going muses, unafraid to interact with anyone. She tends to fit in just about anywhere. Though I’m sure this partly due to her being my most developed and being well established. - With what type of Muses do they usually work well with?: Honestly, I think just about anyone, depending on the scenerio and who they are. That also determines how she approaches and interacts with them.

- What interests your Muse(s) in general: There’s a list of things. Gardening, social gatherings, her division... She’s also into new experiences, things that are foreign to the Soul Society. - What do they desire, is their goal?: She simply wants to make her mother proud, to better society if she can, and continue to aid and serve her division. - What catches their interest first when meeting someone new?: Body language. It’s a trained type of thing, trying to read them by how they hold themselves. How approachable they appear, their intent, etc. - What do they value in a person?: Depends, as she understands everyone is different. But mostly their determination, honesty, and dedication, even if she’s not the receiver. She can still respect them for it. - What themes do they like talking about?: Eh... Just about anything, aside from herself. Anything gardening or about flowers is where she’s the most enthusiastic. - Which themes bore them?: Idle chitchat or small talk. She likes to carry an actual conversation. So trying to ask her about the weather, she’ll more than likely walk away.

- Did they ever went through something traumatic?: Sort of? There’s a couple things; the discovery of Azashiro’s imprisonment and his crimes, the sudden disappearance of Yoruichi and Kisuke, and the brief encounter with Yhwach’s clone during the war. - What could possibly trigger them?: Both Azashiro’s imprisonment and Yoruichi and Kisuke’s exile have been resolved, so no. Though to ask her about Azashiro, she’ll be guarded and, depending on the person, defensive. The incident with Yhwach was a literal flash, leaving her physically scarred, but otherwise unfazed. - What could set them off, enrage them?: Azashiro, yes. Depending on who the person is, obviously. Kisuke is the most notable target of this rage. - What could lead to an instant kill?: Again, Azashiro, depending on who brings it up and what’s brought up. Mostly, if it targets her mother and threatens to expose them, including her adopted father.

- Is there someone /-thing they hate?: Yhwach and Aizen. Both have caused a degree of grief in the Soul Society, and even for those outside it. She also hates those that use their position of power for selfish reasons. - Is there someone /-thing they love?: Her mother and adopted father, and the Shiba clan as a whole. Her division, and her current captain and co-lieutenant, along with her former captain and her brother Yuushirou. She also loves, though won’t admit it often enough, Askin (verse dependent). Kenpachi as well (verse dependent). Any and all her friends, including Kisuke. There’s also a huge soft spot for animals of any kind.

Is your Muse easy to approach?: YES / NO. - Best ways to approach them?: As long as you’re not a sworn enemy to her or the society, just about anyone’s good to go. Just strike up conversation, ask for a spar, to drink, etc. She isn’t one to simply ignore or dismiss anyone, so long as there isn’t any bad terms between them. - Where are they usually to find?: In the second division offices or training grounds (sometimes in the onsen), at her home, or strolling or patrolling through the Seireitei.

Something you may still want to point out about your muse?: Eh... nothing I can think of off the top of my head. Except that, no matter how kind a face she has, she can still be a merciless killer.

one year - 1/ 2/20

It’s been a year since I started this blog!

Most of you probably know that this blog holds the OC continuation of the story I started as a canon character on cubicscubedemon. The history hasn’t changed; Morpho uses what used to be their nickname back on the old blog, and they reference things that happened back when they were Amorphous Shape, so they are definitely still the same person, but they were such a tiny presence in their old canon that I feel comfortable calling them my OC now.

So! We’re basically in the epilogue, I think! After a series of huge pushes, they left their Boss and started a new life in hiding. They had a run-in with their homeworld, picked up a sibling by accident, reconnected with an old friend, made some new ones. The nature of their relationships is different now. They’ve come a long way. So what now?

Well, first of all I want to say I’m not planning on quitting yet. There are still things I want to do, or at least lay down the groundwork for happening later in the unwritten bits of Morpho’s life. Because I know how their story is going to end. I probably won’t write it here, because that’s at least a few decades in the future we’re talking about and this blog operates on sorta kinda real-ish time, but it’s a nice bittersweet ending I keep in mind. It was never going to end the way Morph *wants*, but they’ll be happy regardless, I promise.

More Things That Have Happened:

-- they started living on Earth! exactly what the version of me who ran the old blog swore up and down would never happen in the default “verse”/timeline. Past me is eating their words right now

-- on a semi-related note, wow, this blog has been running for a year and still hasn’t gained any alternate verse tags? that’s kind of impressive

-- so now when I read through the old blog archive it’s going to be an organization nightmare figuring out if the version of Morpho in a given post is the same one as in this blog or not

-- I straight up forgot that Morpho already knew their timeline’s version of their Boss was dead. In the kidnapping event, Bill told them that and they reacted like it was new information. It wasn’t. I’m just an idiot who doesn’t read the archive enough.

-- Morpho is now: 10-20% more honest! 40% more emotionally open! 4% more humble! 80% deeper into their destiny as the local eldritch witchy grandma/eccentric uncle who has seven dozen other dimensions on speed-dial!

-- they’re still working on letting go of their need to be the “better version” of their ex-Boss, but what happened in Hyperspaceland went a long, long way in proving to them that the Multiverse can have wildly unlikely good things happen in it, and that they can make a positive difference without having to do it the way they had impressed upon them for years.

-- plus, they now have friends and acquaintances who are “weird” like them, who have managed to make good lives for themselves without having to be subject to dimensional power struggles and other unwanted cosmic nonsense. They didn’t think being able to “retire”/live quietly was really possible for people like themself, so seeing otherwise is really good for them. They don’t think directly about this, though, it’s subconscious.

-- but they still have a long way to go and a lot of deep-seated issues to unravel, and now they have to raise their time-clone twin sibling and pray they don’t mess the kid up.

Things I’d Like to Happen, Either Written Here or Not:

-- Morph letting go of their instinct to manipulate situations to their favor, and also their tendency to make things more difficult by lying

-- Morpho letting go of the assumption that most people have ulterior motives, even if their history demonstrates that they have a good reason to believe that

-- Beta growing up, working out how they are and are not Morpho, simultaneously

-- Morpho reaching a point where they can be trusted to not (usually) try using people for their own personal gain, so they can finally go back to their real calling (teaching) properly this time

I worry a lot about whether I keep things consistent here, if Morpho’s still the same person they were two years ago or one year ago. They seem happier, anyway. I don’t think they would be as happy if I was just shearing off unpalatable parts of them out of misplaced fear. At the same time, they are always going to be a little bit awful!

And what about Beta? I keep saying we’re near the end, but just as Morpho’s coming in on the close of their development, Beta’s is just beginning, under totally different circumstances as her elder twin. Life as the soul of a magical alien spirit thing, in the body of an earthly creature, isn’t going to be easy for her. If I wanted, I could lean all the focus on her and get a whole new narrative out of it.

That brings me to something else I wanted to talk about. So if you’ve followed me for a while, you know this about me: for better or for worse, I always have a narrative arc in mind. There are good things and bad things about that approach, and it’s pretty easy to screw up, especially where other people are involved. And the problem with characters who develop is that it is totally possible to develop them too much, to extend their story so far that they become somebody who doesn’t resemble who they were originally. I’m worried about this happening with Morph. I’m also worried about this blog just becoming an endless series of me coming up with some arbitrary new conflict or danger or drama every time I get bored of describing their mundane life. I don’t want to bore anyone. (I know, the wisdom is to RP for yourself and your own fun, but it still involves other people and also, I need to entertain, otherwise what is the point of my story?)

This blog is... might end before this time this year. I say might, it’s not that I don’t enjoy anymore and want to quit. After that? I don’t know. Starting an art blog on Tumblr feels kind of pointless now since the platform is dying, and RP is one of the major reasons I stick around since I don’t really use my personal blog much anymore. If I don’t write here, I feel like I’m going to slip away from a lot of friends. I don’t want to lose you all. I could start a new muse, Beta or someone else, but...

I want to do something different, too.

And that brings me to the last (I think) thing, which is what form Morpho’s story might take next. Because if I DO end this blog before the beginning of next year, I wouldn’t be done with Morph by a long shot. I love them too much and there’s too much of me I sunk into them. So what would I do?

Well, I was hoping to spin a web thing with words and pictures. ...I think I’m just going to call it a web serial. No intention of ever formally publishing it. It would be the same basic arc again, but more polished and with all the Gravity Falls filed off a backstory and setting that is more original to me, plus additional new plot things and side characters. Definitely taking place in a Multiverse, though, how could it not?

coming up with a villain to replace Bill Cipher has been basically impossible but Morpho’s story can’t function without somebody in that role

Maybe this is misguided of me, maybe it will fail to launch, or launch and then fail, and attempting to run it alongside this blog is an almost guaranteed terrible idea, but I want to do it. Morpho is never going to get a book series or a TV show, so this is what I have for them. It could be pretty interesting if it works. They feel ready. And most importantly I know I can tell this long rambly story and finish it, because I’ve already done it, here with the help of a bunch of writers--friends-- that I admire. Morpho wouldn’t have made it this far without you.

When is it coming? I don’t really know. Work on the first installments is happening, but it’s slow, and there’s key things I don’t know yet. Most of it is going to be flying by the seat of my pants, making it up as I go (but y’know, making it up better, with slightly less improvisation than I usually employ here). I’m graduating from community college in mid March of this year, which is going to be a major life change that is probably going to turn my life completely upside down. Maybe I will suddenly not have any time for creating anything, be it an RP blog or a web serial, much less both! haha I’m terrified

But with luck, I’m hoping that what I am tentatively calling Amos vs. Everything will be out soon. Like, really soon. Some point between late January and when I graduate. (Now I just have to A. figure out where I’m hosting this thing and B. graduate. It would be really embarrassing if I flunked out of my last semester of school.)

I can see it now: somebody going “who the heck is ‘Amos’? The main character’s name is Morpho!” and I will smile and say ‘wait and see’ because they don’t know, but you. You all know.

That one thing that I’m kinda tired of? (Watch me lose followers for this one, here goes)))

((When things like Pokémon Sword-Shield came out, everyone jumped to make verses or take up the muses, it’s not that, again, I have anything against it, but normally the hype ends up having all that created stuff on the fly just... go dormant and never be used again. It’s more so seeing all of this stuff get made and more and... disappears. It sort of bothers me, you know?))

((I dunno about to what range of “lost chill” this qualifies to, but I’ve had Ragna blatantly underestimated before once. He is powerful to the point I’m sure more than enough know it’s not even funny. I try to balance him out or look for any way in a situation where a fight or so takes place on an RP to give any upper hands or so to the other party for that reason.))

((If there is one thing I do dislike is that while I might do that outright, people think he can be written off and beaten. Sorry, but no, I will let Ragna be defeated and more; have him experience fear and possible death from that, but never. Never. I will allow complete underestimation or that he can easily be matched where it matters. And this isn’t even only on power level talk, many think he really is not too smart but he canonically has shown and stated further to be sharp then he’s shown more often than not.))

Birthday: Believed to be the 29th Sun of the 6th Astral Moon (November 28th, Sagittarius Sun)

Race: Voidsent (Powerful enough to be in the Third Rung of the Hierarchy) trapped in the form of an Au Ra

Gender: Male (He/Him/His Pronouns)

Sexuality: Homosexual, Panromantic

Marital Status: Single, Not Seeking

Physical Appearance ––– –

Hair: Long, Feathered and drapes down the length of his back to the base of his tail. Usually left down but will sometimes be tied up into an elegant high ponytail/braided combo. Hair is the color of a rich burgundy that sometimes has a purple shimmer or shine to it in the right lighting and it holds a dark purple hue at the tips for highlights.

Eyes: His eyes match his hair with a deep burgundy colored iris that gets absorbed into the lavender color of the limbal ring around it. His eyes seem to glow with the way the Limbal ring sticks out due to the bright color. Toshi also has slitted pupils like that of a cat.

Height: Extremely tall for an Au Ra standing at an intimidating Eight Foot Nine Inches (8′9)

Build: Mesomorph build, Toshinaku’s body is muscular and well built for his habits and lifestyle which includes dancing and entertaining those who seek out his company in the bedroom. One would describe him as having abs for days with arms that are toned, arms that look as though they could crush a skull if he got the person into a headlock. It has also been mentioned that his legs are quite the sight and many would be envious and want to have such elegant toned legs, his legs however do stand out and look as if they are out of place... as though they should not be there at all.

Distinguishing Marks: The most distinguishing features on Toshinaku’s form are the various sigils that mark it. The biggest of these sigils being the ones on his back and chest with the one on his chest covering up the majority of his breast and stomach while the one on his back starts from the base of his neck and goes down to just above his tail. These sigils lock away the three forms that he has (True Form which is the Lamia/Naga, Cerberus esque form and a Voidal Dragon form). He has various other sigils on his body alongside these and they all seem to give off a rather interesting aether for those who are Aether Sensitive. Other markings include a floral like pattern on his forehead that is a burgundy-purple shade to match his hair and several Keeper like markings along the ridge of his nose, eyes and stripes on his cheeks.

Common Accessories: Hidden away in his silken shawl is a Golden Chain necklace that has three bone arrow charms on it. Each one is a different size with varying adornments attached to it and each one has an engravement on it that ties to a name. The first is for his deceased sister Sizah, which is the least decorated of the three. The second for his former companion Sebha’to Bajhiri which Toshi had altered to better fit his friends desires. And the last for Una’a (Nyr) Bajhiri, who was his greatest inspiration and role model and someone that he looked up to before he changed to what he is now. Toshi also wears a variety of golden jewelry on his form so that he can attract attention when he needs to.

Profession: Master Alchemist and Engineer though he rarely tinkers in Engineering these days and mostly focuses on the Alchemy. His Alchemy is primarily focused on genetics and genetic altering properties which has lead to him being a chemical creator that will alter a beings appearance/genetic code, conjures up his own personal Fantasias. Belly Dancer and Entertainer in Ul’dah, Male Prostitute.

Hobbies: Singing (In private, usually lullabies that his mother sung to him), Dancing, Being an absolute asshole, Killing Things which is not good, Various other things that may or may not be considered hobbies.

Languages: Common and Huntspeak (Miqo’te), he also can understand Voidsent and various other races. Toshi has the tendency to roll his R’s and draw out his S’s when he is extremely angered or his emotions are getting the better of him, so he sounds like a purring snake.

Residence: Nomadic however he has a somewhat permanent room in The Hourglass in Ul’dah.

Birthplace: What is now known as ‘The Dead Forest’, a large forested area deep in the North Shroud close to the borders of Coerthas.

Religion: N/A

Patron Deity: If asked he will say that he does not have a Patron Deity but before his change it was Menphina.

Fears: Toshi doesn’t openly discuss his fears and many would think that he actually doesn’t have any fears because of how well he hides them. His biggest fear, which he does his best to keep hidden, is losing those that have returned to him in some way and also losing those he has somehow managed to make friends with recently. With his other fear being attached or close to others and showing emotions that he once buried away again.

Smoking Habit: Overall Toshi doesn’t really smoke, he has little reason to do so and generally avoids it. Drugs: While Toshi does work with various chemicals and such he is not really the sort to do any actual drugs so to speak. Alcohol: Social for the most part, he’ll drink with company but that’s about it since for him a lot of things that work on mortals don’t really work for him all that much.

RP Hooks ––– –

Voidsent in Disguise - Toshinaku is a Voidsent in 'disguise' for the most part. His Aether can give it away easily for anyone who is sensitive to such things or those who can easily see Aether. While he doesn’t truly try and hide what he is, Toshi will generally be cryptic and give ‘hints’ as to what he could be. For those who are sensitive to Aether they will likely also be able to note that the Sigils on his body are the reason for his current form and likely pick up on the fact that they were done by a White Mage. Recently however these sigils have started to change and are actually feeding on his Aether and showing signs of ‘Light’ contamination.

Formerly of the Bajhiri Clan - Not much is known about how Toshi became what he is today, he has kept the Clan Name for whatever reason and was once a Keeper of the Bajhiri clan. Any Bajhiri's out there might be wondering what the heck this Au Ra is doing with their clan name and are certain to ask questions. They might also have heard of someone who went by the name of Sozoh'a and how his entire clan just 'vanished' one day, various ghost stories have sprung up due to the ‘Dead Forest’ which is where he once lived. Toshi’s Mother Sozoh was also an extremely social character and paid visits to most of the other Bajhiri clans within the Shroud and Coerthas, she also helped as a bit of a Midwife of sorts and helped with kits being born.

Sigils and The Cursed Form - All of Toshinaku's forms have been sealed away from him through an array of seals and sigils that spance his entire body. The most notable ones being on his back and chest as they cover the entirety of the area. All of these seals appear to have been burnt into his body and then filled with a strange ink. He is seeking a way to break this seal so that he can be free.

Personal Entertainer and Belly Dancer in Ul’dah - One has to make money somehow and Toshinaku has had to learn how to adapt to this world and to make a living somehow. While he does make a good bit of money from his Alchemy and more specifically the Fantasias that he ‘sells’ where he truly shines is his ways as being a personal entertainer for people. He is very skilled at Belly Dancing and even better with the more... provocative side of things. One can easily find him in Limsa Lominsa or Ul'dah performing and might even have heard of him at one point or another because he is good at what he does.

Suggestions? - Have any Suggestions? I am always open to ideas! I am pretty much always open to just about any type of RP be it simple slice of life kind of things to the more dark and violent side of things. Ask and we'll see if we can hash something out! Do keep in mind that a lot of Toshi’s content is generally Dark Theme’d with elements of Horror in it. While he can certainly be fun and entertaining a lot of his content is dark and usually for mature audiences overall.

* I love to Roleplay however I am an extremely shy person with severe anxieties and various other bad brain gremlins that make it hard for me to interact. I have a lot of experience with RP and for the most part have been doing so ever since the days of NeonDragonArt’s forums which is where I started out and I was roughly 13-14 years old back then and I am now 32 years old. Needless to say, I’ve been around and I have likely seen it ‘all’ for the most part and I will not be stopping any time soon though I do have those lulls where I will take a break and come back to it.

* For the most part my schedule is ALL over the place and I am generally online whenever I happen to be awake. Most of the time the easiest way to contact me is through DM’s on Tumblr and I’ll generally see them when I am up as I am constantly ‘surfing’ the tumbles.

* I suffer from a lot of sleep problems and generally am a bit of a ‘night owl’ so to speak. I tend to sleep throughout the day and am generally awake anywhere from 1pm-6pm and am usually up all night because of it. * I live on the East Coast and my Timezone is EST/EDT. Again my schedule varies so you are likely to catch me at any point throughout the day.

* I tend to prefer Ask Prompts for starters or just RPing on tumblr in general as it is by far the easiest for me to do. I am more than willing to do other RPs such as In-Game and the like but overall, Tumblr is the best for me in regards to actual Roleplays. Discord RP is reserved for very close friends.

Overall I’m pretty much open to a variety of RPs and generally open to anything that anyone is willing to do. What I am looking for in regards to Toshi is for the most part various interactions with a variety of people. Please note that overall Toshi’s themes are very dark and theme’d around horror so he’s not exactly everyone’s cup of tea so to speak. You can get a general idea for many of his interactions by looking at his Socialization page and checking out the tags there which have various RPs with my wonderful friends. You can also check out the various writing that I have done for the FFXIV 2019 Writing though do keep in mind that these have a lot of DARK content with a lot of Horror elements that include graphic gore, etc.

Toshi is a bit of a mixed bag of tricks and while I do prefer the Dark content that I put out with him overall please know that I am willing to do more than just that. With a lot of his recent RPs he has developed a bit of a ‘softer’ side towards some people so you could be lucky and find him having a fairly ‘good’ day so to speak. Overall, it’s whatever you are comfortable with and whatever you would like to do! I am open to many things and pretty much just want to have fun and share this boy with others who would enjoy seeing him.

Some things that do interest me are the potentials that could come from Toshi running into a Sin Eater/Lightwarden, people from the first, generally things involving Light, etc.

Roxas - Kingdom Hearts (”But he’s on here and I have done a thread or two with him!” Yeah, that’s true, but just recently have I kinda noticed some things about how I’d play Roxas might not mix well with other muns, mainly because of the constant preaching of “friends over family” that KH has, it kinda leads me away from thinking Roxas would consider anyone older than him like a parent and just friend zone them instantly. I might be overthinking it, but it’s just something I don’t see happening, and until I can find my confidence and hopefully a better method of playing Roxas, he’ll be in semi-hiatus for the time being.)

Sylvester Pussycat/Daffy Duck - Looney Tunes (I have done very little with either, though I can do something with Sylvester as of now, just Daffy needs some tweaking and icons for other verses. But when I have a good grip on both situations, they’ll be put out into the open for all to interact with for the other verses!)

What I want to do is continue giving the chief editor a chance to shine and be noticed for all of his straight-forward but considerate mannerisms, search for truth and justice, and all of that from the news side of the world.) @gideon-mcduck

John D. Rockerduck/Roller Dollar - Duckverse/Disney Comics (”Also him as well!” Look, John is more known and very well received to be the third richest duck in the world, and as he aims for first place in besting Scrooge, he’s also not that bad of a guy. Sure, he may have a devious, mischievous, and even cheating side to him, but get to know the guy well and he’ll treat you like family. Not his of course as there’s a lot of turmoil in his but better than any average person for sure. Not only that, but he has gone through some radical adventures, giving him versatility, and even has a supervillian persona, one akin to Magneto. Polaris [Marvel], Doctor Polaris [DC], and Cosmic Boy in some terms of powers. When he hits the stage, he makes sure his appearance is known! Until he’s forced to munch on another one of his bowler hats.) @john-d-rockerduck

Underdog/Shoeshine Boy - Terry Toons? (Being a big fan of some superheroes, and knowing that Underdog has become a rarity in that of the super hero fandom, I decided it might be nice to try and help bring him back! As overpowered as he is, of course he can get the good old nerfing rod, or not, however you want it! Mainly what seems to be cool would be the situations in which he saves the day that don’t always involve Polly Purebred, or just his daily life as a shoeshine boy?) @underhcro

Ralph Runner - Loonatics Unleashed (Boy, is this 50′s-60′s esque father of a roadrunner something! He’ll probably have you smacking your head in frustration from the very fast speak he talks. Ralph can slow down though, so that’s not much of a problem! Keeping up with him physically though is another thing, like for some reason, he still has a potbelly but can move at super sonic speeds? I guess not every speedster has a hyper fast metabolism? Either way, if you’re in the future sometime, you might find him at his business or somewhere in Acmetropolis, if it’s in the same time and universe!)

Snagglepuss - Hanna-Barbera (Ooooh, this guy. I have SO many ideas with him that they pale in comparison to Huck and Hokey, when just using my ideas and not the combined efforts of mine with others. A moment that explains how he went from being an antagonist and rival to being a good friend along with his fur change? Got it! An explanation for how he loses some of his daring and adventurous backbone? Already thought of! And the list goes on for this mountain lion! I may not have played him on Tumblr, but I have played him before, and I have hear I am really good from others.)

Bathound/Ace Wayne - DC Comics (A detective that likes to do his work more than anything, and does it best when alone? Oh yeah, that is a vigilante I can get behind! I still have yet to promote him more and such, but he is a good guy to antagonize since he does hate silliness and such when it comes to the mission. Though not as devoted to the mission as Bruce/Batman is, he can be at times and that is one of his best traits/worst flaws.)

José Carioca - Disney (As he is literally my most favorite Caballero, sorry Don and Pan, he does get a lot of love from me. With his questionable past of having what can be debated to be regular magic or black magic, coy and sly demeanor when on his con work, or just being the cool and levelheaded member until a party arises. Maybe it is because he reminds me too much of myself in some cases, but I do not know. He is still available for whoever wants for me to make a starter with him! I also have to continue the thread that has him in it.)

Morrigan Aensland - DarkStalkers (I question on how I should approach making her icons as she is well, look at her. Though she is a succubus and gets away with that because it goes back into the lore of succubi, I feel like some people would be uncomfortable with her around, which is normal. She is kinda one of those..... characters that I don’t want to type the acronym of. However, that doesn’t mean that I don’t want to play her. She’s a good character that has an intriguing personality!)

Igor - Count Duckula (Ah yes, my first rp blog that I had when I decided to rp on Tumblr. It’s still up, and I’m still working on it! But for all that do not know, here’s a little thing about my writing; If it wasn’t for me rping as Igor, and also having knowledge of Alfred Pennyworth, I might not have been thinking about playing Duckworth as early as I did. I do love Duckworth still to about the same amount as Igor, which is a LOT, but they kinda are two sides of the same coin. Heck, they even wear almost similar attire except for their appearance and tastes in some things.) @butlerofthecount

Dante - Devil May Cry (I definitely need to work on this blog again, as DMC5 sparked my thrist for some good demon slaying threads. Hopefully the pizza hasn’t gotten cold or moldy by now, but if it has, one can always order a new one!) @merciless-style

Who the heck is my muse anyway:

Depending on where in his timeline we are, Richard is either the ruling monarch of the Windor Kingdom or its Crown Prince. He has a very kind heart and dislikes conflict wishing that people could work together instead. He is devoted to his kingdom and its people, wanting more than anything to create a peaceful and prosperous future. Richard is well aware that there are many who only see him for his crown and for the power they might get in earning his favour and so he is always leery of others intentions and does not trust easily. His trust, once earned, however, is not easily shaken unless he is outright betrayed. Once lost it is even more difficult to earn a second time.

Points of interest:

Richard is a very fascinating character to me because while he is kind and courteous and gentle on the outside, he still harbours a darker, crueller side which will sometimes peak out depending on the situation. I really love exploring that balance to his character; his constant struggle between being done with people and their greed and selfishness against his desire not to lose hope in the world again.

Richard is usually in Windor as his duties keep him close to the throne. That being said I actually prefer to toss him in different environments whenever I can because Barona only offers so much potential conflict and threads there tend to get dry.

I generally prefer threads that have a plot or a story to them, however. Threads where the characters are just talking together eventually become a struggle for me to write. I really love some action too or for the characters to have a goal to achieve or a conflict to overcome!

Right now I’m particularly open to any threads that are not in his default post-game verse. I really love exploring other verses for him (including AUs) but I’m honestly up for anything because I adore Richard so freaking much and I love the bonds he has and is in the process of making right now.

Coming Out

Over the past couple of years, I have been working to develop a wearable assistive device for people who are blind or visually impaired (B/VI). One obvious consequence of this is getting to know and interact with quite a number of folks who are B/VI. And though every person is unique, I’ve found it a near universal truth that they all want passionately to be seen as normal. To feel normal. To just be a person who happens to be blind, not a blind person.

That’s understandable. Most everyone wants to be normal, certainly with regard to physical abilities. But in my experience, the quest to be normal can have some detrimental consequences. And it is partly with those consequences in mind that I’m starting this blog.

So let me begin by “coming out of the closet.” I am a blind man. Apologies to the LGBTQ community for borrowing the phrase, but it fits. My friends and family obviously have known for many years. And I’ve never kept it secret, per se. However, in my own quest to feel and to be seen as “normal,” I’ve kept the nature and severity of my condition largely hidden.

First, it might be helpful to understand what it means to be visual impaired. Per The American Foundation for the Blind, there’s not a single, agreed-upon definition. Rather, the term is used to describe a variety of levels of visual (dis)function. People may be classified as having low vision or being partially sighted or legally blind or totally blind. And as you might ascertain, only people with total blindness have no sight. The remaining 85% of us retain some level of vision.

In the US, I’m considered “legally blind.” Per the World Health Organization, I have a “profound visual impairment.” In both cases, these designations are just one level up from total blindness. In a later post, I will go into detail about what and how I see. But in short, depending on the level of ambient light, I have a corrected visual acuity of around 20/50, which is not terrible. However, I have a visual field under 10 degrees, which some might refer to as tunnel vision…my tunnel is more like a drinking straw. Anything below 20 degrees is considered legally blind. I also have total night blindness cruelly coupled with severe light sensitivity, I don’t see low contrast gradations, and I have some effed up kind of color blindness that makes everything from green to blue to grey all appear to be grebley.

I was born with Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP), a progressive, genetic disorder that essentially destroys the retina (the “sensor” at the back of the eye), usually from the outside in. It manifests differently in everyone, and I’ve been extremely fortunate (if that term can apply) to have had relatively slow progression. I’ve had symptoms since I was a teenager, and I was diagnosed at age 16 by a doctor with the bedside manner of Gregory House. However, aside from having some blind spots in my periphery and a hard time seeing and driving at night, I was able to lead an almost entirely normal life well into my 30’s. Aside from my family and closest friends, nobody really was aware that I had this condition.

Unfortunately, by the time I turned 40, RP was winning the war. I will likely have another post describing this progression as it is somewhat interesting. However, despite this, I remained stubbornly committed to being “normal.” I clung to driving well beyond the point that I should have, only giving that up entirely on my 46th birthday. Only at the end did I ever feel I might be “dangerous,” but I still probably should have stopped a year or three earlier.

I think likely the fear of losing the independence that driving gave me was a major reason I hid the severity of my disease progression for so long. I mean, saying “Sorry, I can’t do that because I’m blind,” isn’t exactly the kind of thing one says as they are stepping into their car to drive home. Though it isn’t the only reason. As I have now come to know, nobody wants to be “seen” as the blind dude. We want to do all we can to just be like everyone else.

But we’re not just like everyone else. We can do a lot but often need assistance. We can work but need accommodation. We don’t want pity but do need understanding. And in order for any of that to happen, we need to be seen for who and what we are. And yet…

To this day I will not speak up if I need someone to turn up the lights. When someone shows me something, I’ll nod or smile or laugh along with them as though I’ve actually seen something on that tiny, dim screen or piece of blank-seeming paper. I will not ask for help navigating a dark space or finding a light switch. I will make up an excuse for a clumsy misstep, wrong turn or bumping into someone (or a wall). I avoid social situations because of the inevitable missed social cues and handshakes left hangin’. I will avoid drinking and “hold it” nearly indefinitely if it means I don’t have to try to locate a bathroom (I have a bladder the size of Alaska). I will pretend to need to leave early or late so that I can avoid navigating a crowd. Even when asking for accommodation, I will hide behind an easy, known excuse (e.g., I can’t drive) rather than the truth (e.g., I’m paralyzed with anxiety or need time to recover from extreme eye strain). I am basically my awkward pre-teen self, slumped in my chair to avoid notice—not wanting to stand out so that I might…just…maybe…fit in.

This is the first of quite a few blog posts that I have planned. I have no idea how many there will be or how long my motivation will last. However, I felt compelled to open the closet door on my life. Or at least to crack it a bit. People like “feel-good” stories of “differently-abled” people overcoming incredible adversity to achieve success; the reality for most people with disabilities is far less heart-warming. I will no doubt share both kinds of tales here. I will be truthful and will no longer try to hide behind a façade of normality. But I will usually be positive and forward-looking. I live with occasional bouts of anxiety and depression; I sure as heck don’t want that to be contagious. Those who know me know that I like to inject dry humor in my writing. That’ll no doubt be in here, as well. But don’t expect cat pictures…unless there’s a funny story about a blind cat. And even then, probably no cat pictures.

Mostly, though, I’m just doing this for myself. Not long ago on social media I posed the question whether blindness was a “hidden disability” akin to many neurological disorders. For me, it largely has been. I’ve been quite successful in my quest to be perceived as normal. But I’m not. And I’m officially “out.”

My Muse: Wolfe

Who the heck is my muse anyway?

Wolfe is a little over 100 years in age in his main verse. Born in England he traveled to Europe after WWII to try and help out after the war. Not entire sure what he was going to do at first, he eventually joined with a special ops group who were hunting down nazis who were fleeing. At first he was proud of the work he was doing, bringing bad guys to justice, but after a while it began to wear on him. Eventually he went to North America and during the 50s, wandered the continent in search of what can best be described as spiritual fulfillment. When the 60s reared up Wolfe realized what he needed to do was advocate peace and fought for civil rights for everyone, eventually becoming a speaking voice for everyone with super powers and publicly denounced legislation and laws that limited the freedoms of those people. He became a national figure for superhuman rights... until an incident in 1995 caused Wolfe to kill an entire night club full of people. What almost no one is aware of is that Wolfe has an immortal soul and has been constantly resurrected throughout the centuries- and he remembers. This is merely his current lifetime.

Points of interest:

He’s 5′6″ tall, not a particularly large person. A lot of people (particularly other men) tend to underestimate him.

Dark blond hair, goatee, graying at his temples and edges of his beard.

Dresses casually, will always button and zip shirts and coats to the top. Tends to also dress in layers.

His super powers are: Super strength and speed, energy and matter absorption, energy transference and healing factor.

Due to his absorption powers, Wolfe constantly feels the desire to absorb matter and energy to feed his own abilities. Most of the time he can keep it under control, but a massive slip of concentration (like if he’s badly wounded) will cause him to lose control and he will go insane to fulfill this need and will remain crazed until he calms down and regains control. If his eyes turn red its probably already too late.

No one other than beings who have access to information through the ages of humanity will know Wolfe reincarnates, unless he tells them himself. He is one of three people who is in the same reincarnation cycle, but only Wolfe remembers their past lives (at least from his perspective).

Where to find them:

Depends on the timeline or the circumstances of how a muse might meet Wolfe, but usually in the LA/ San Fran area, west coast of California.

Desired interactions:

Honestly, anyone from the Powers comic or series would be amazing, but I know that’s not going to happen anytime soon. Villains and heroes that walk a hard good or evil line won’t get along well with Wolfe.

Wolfe is thought of as a villain in his standard universe, but he really doesn’t see himself as evil in any way. Freedom is most important to Wolfe. Freedom to make is own choices and freedom for everyone else to make their own choices as well. He simply reacts to the situation presented to him. Actions have consequences and Wolfe is fully aware of that, given that he believes his actions triggered his reincarnations through the ages and his curse (and blessing) to have the memories of all of that. It’s the main reason why he feels sympathy for people who make terrible decisions in terrible situations. That empathy will only go so far, however. You’re still the one making that choice. After he’s taken into custody when he goes mad in the night club, Wolfe is placed in a prison for super powered people. The prison takes a very severe “do what you need to do to secure these powered people”. Individuals are kept in tiny cells, chained to the floor, wearing metal helmets- based on whatever their powers are. Wolfe is lashed to the floor, naked, and given a lobotomy once a week. You can imagine that he doesn’t react well to the situation once he regains mental faculties...
