Hey everyone!!

Just wanted to pop back on Tumblr since I have been silent for most of the year and wanted to say Happy Holidays!!!

It may be a while before I return but know that I’m still working on the blogs and trying to get them finished as fast as I can with little to edit later on. Hope you all stay safe and have a good start on the new year!

Small Update!

Hey everyone!

I know it’s been a while since I’ve done anything on here, or at least sent stuff out and talked to others, but that’s mostly due to me focusing on getting my blogs all updated and I believe I only need to do two at this one. This one and my Dante blog as well but the other nine should be ready with tags, and all of that stuff done. I haven’t done any graphics in a while but that’s something I’ll get to later as I can do that alongside rping.

As for a life update, I did move to a new place recently and it’s been somewhat rough trying to get everything together and that alongside work’s been taking up most of my time and energy but I’m still trying to get back on here with every set and ready to go! Everything I’ve had before that people have sent is already answered and all of that, so no need to worry about it. Got to all of my drafts while doing this, just haven’t sent any out. I’ll launch them once all it set up but again, that shouldn’t be too long. Most of this stuff is complete! There are a few vital parts that aren’t but again, that’s something I’ve been working on whenever I’ve had the time and energy for it.

All in all, don’t worry! I’m not dead, and really I’m not silent, but just been trying to focus more on finishing the revamps rather than rp like usual. I’m still available to chat and stuff on Discord or on here in Dms/IMs, but not really doing that many roleplays at the moment. Thanks for looking at this! I can’t say when I’ll get finished, but I hope it’s soon, however long soon is.

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY EVERYONE!!!!

I know I haven’t gotten to say that often due to my lateness on Independence Day, mostly because it is also my birthday but I did want to wish everyone that before the night was over.

So due to complications with Tumblr and it not being able to withstand or hold an absurd character count/limit, I’m going to have to put my character bios into two different pages for once… This also changes how I’ll approach Universes and Headcanons since there might be need of another page for either of them in the future.

However on Google Docs, it can hold as many as needed so once I add the link there everything will all be in one place and not scatted between two pages. The same goes for Universes and Headcanons.

Strained eyes were darting every way possible to find out who was trying to insult him, since there wasn't really anyone else in the area. He may have been a little seasoned, but old was pushing it. He could still knock any punk trying to talk smack into next week if he needed it and there were no back issues or memory loss problems to be had. Though the voice mentioned something wacky, and pretty stupid if his opinion was going to be accounted for. What did make him worry a bit was the cherry bomb that landed into his hands.

"Ah! Keep yer own garbage in that 'Negaverse' you stinkin' yahoo!! Don't need ya or yer trash bein' disposed here!!! As much as I don't like this place...", the ex-actor shouted out before tossing the bomb away into the air. If anything, he wasn't going to get blown up to smithereens before he got his revenge.

That voice was Gyro's, there was no doubt about that. What did make the canine curious however was what his ghostly eyes saw in the chicken's hands. New cleaning supplies and a disk, likely one to played on an electronic item like a computer. Both were very thoughtful and he couldn't let this go without something kind to say.

"^Thank you, Gyro...^", Duckworth started with first as he slowly extended his hands towards the items before looking back at the avian. "^I... I am not sure how to say what I want to say, since it is not directly tied to this, but for now I do know that I am grateful for these presents you've purchased for me.^", he continued softly as he took the gifts but was not certain of where to place them for now. Hugs were still not something he had been truly comfortable initiating, so he lent out a hand for good shake that would hopefully suffice.

[ ♛ ] send me a url and I'll tell you the following; My opinion on; @elveswithoutears (Man, I have been gone for a while if I didn't notice the blog change...) character in general: (You know, I wanted to put in the specify muse thing but I guess I gotta do the ones that I know of to be completely fair, sorry if some of the ones you love or like aren't mentioned or talked about in great detail.) I'd say my best experience with any of your muses is Nega Drake, followed by Steelbeak and then Drake 17. We still got Gosalyn 17 and a littllllle bit of Classic Drake but mostly the three I mentioned before. From what I see, you really have gone a long way to try and make Nega Drake stand out from any of his headcanon competitors and I really do like that, he's sassy, very blunt at times, easily frustrated but not plagued by the (Mc)Duck Gene, and seems to be a bit of a straight guy which is refreshing among all the loony and kooky characters out there. Steelbeak's a joy to read as while I was replying to his threads mostly before the finale, it was nice that you didn't completely change his character to resemble his original Darkwing Duck incarnation so soon, as I know I couldn't do that. Yes, the guy's a bruiser that just wants to make himself known for more than just his brawn but there's a difference on writing a simple character and an oaf, and you certainly have been writing him more like the former than the latter. I know we only had a dash comm thread between Gizmoduck and Darkwing from the always raging Gizmowing War, but it was nice to see how Drake would feel about coming to realize that someone he liked (whether platonically or more than that) also was one of the same people or figures that he was so annoyed by. It really does hurt to have to deal with that knowledge and how that hate of yours has been affecting that person, though I know not everyone actively thinks about that stuff. Not like I'm trying to have Fenton push Drake's shit in for what he's done, not at all, but to make sure the guy at least understands the full grasp of the situation before continuing down something that isn't entirely healthy. Though don't mind all that above, Drake's really quirky and I'm not sure how much I could say on his personality yet but I do know that he at hopefully trying to make up for his conceitedness. Every other muse of yours is great too and I would certainly go more in depth about them but look at this, I wouldn't be able to get to the stuff below if I talked on all of them! how they play them: ......Well, to be short and sweet since I kind of answered these up above, you play them very well! the mun: Thomas is very nice! I know they have been around for a bit and mostly been doing stuff while I've been on the shaky or on and odd end of my stuff but they really are kind and they have good ideas to put into threads or just for giving their muses more depth than the original source material could provide at times. Do I; follow them: Yep! rp with them: Certainly! want to rp with them: If I rp with them then obviously I want to do it.... right? ship their character with mine: Something to stay in tuned for.... [ ♛ ] send me a url and I'll tell you the following; My opinion on; @longislandvigilante​ character in general: Your character Drake is completely your own as there is no base to compare it to, but on his own, he’s a very fun straight man-esque guy just trying to get by doing his job that he’s good at while also experiencing all weird sorts of stuff going on, and the guy deals with monsters and demons! It’s hard to top that off usually. He might have a bit of some lust here and there, but it’s not like that is completely unavoidable in that sort of business. Not a knock either! Just an observation. how they play them: You play him magnificently for what you want to do, and it’s really hard to give critique on something that might not have a normal reference to look to, but just off from what I’ve seen alone you’ve definitely made Drake a fully three dimensional character that doesn’t seem unreal or impossible to be. That’s very good to accomplish! the mun: We really do got to talk with each other more but I believe that’s more of my problem than yours since I’m always on and off on here at the moment. Still, you’re a really great person from the moments I’ve gotten to talk with you and you’re passionate about the things you like which is good! Do I; follow them: Yeah! rp with them: On and off again but I wouldn’t mind solidifying that more! want to rp with them: Yes! ship their character with mine: Platonically, I can see Drake and Dynomutt having a friendship, if that’s what this is going for. [ ♛ ] send me a url and I'll tell you the following; My opinion on; @sympathyforthedamned character in general: Bradford is not an easy character to play because his whole character really is one that can be considered a parallel to Scrooge, but he is also one that was supposed to be the greatest challenge Scrooge and his family and friends faced up until that point or at least his ideology anyway. I know the show wasn’t able to do this, but you have to nail or at least understand the argument/debate that was proposed at the beginning of season 3, safety and comfort, or adventure and thrill. That isn’t to say that you have to make an answer for it, but just understand both sides of the debate and give Bradford ones that are strong rather than weak. Also, it shouldn’t really be confused with his personal struggle about whether he is a villain, a hero, or just someone with a vison to carry out, as that might impact his approach to the argument but not be a true factor on whether safety and comfort is less important than adventure and thrill, or family... how they play them: Honestly, I can’t say I’ve seen very much, but from what I have seen, you look like you’re on the right track with him! Yes, he’s a bit more eloquent or verbose than normal, but that’s not a bad thing since that just means he has more to say, right? Other than that, I do like that you give him a gradient of depth on his problems and thinking process, which shows me and everyone else on here that you really do like the concept of his character! the mun: Like before, I can’t say I’ve seen much about them, actually I don’t think we’ve even messaged each other yet but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t want to get to know you! I also love that you have a Jose blog too and while I could try to write some stuff for it in this one, I feel that explanation on Bradford might take up too much space on what I will type or just make it more harder on the eyes. [ ♛ ] send me a url and I'll tell you the following; My opinion on; @gamblealife character in general: (I really should have specified for these first but I’ll just go off the top of my head for the ones I’ve rped with the most) Out of the vast selection of muses that you have, I think the ones that stick out most to me are Classic Darkwing/Drake, Liquidator, and uh..... not too sure if it’s tied between Marik, Quackerjack, or 2017 Launchpad. For the canon ones you do play them pretty close to how they should be with some exceptions like 2017 Launchpad or Classic Darkwing but those exceptions aren’t bad either. how they play them: Honestly it’s a bit difficult to do some things differently to not make them exactly the same for some of the faults that they had in the show that were not expanded upon, but not too different to the point where they might as well be a whole different character in their entirety. It’s quite, refreshing (yes, I know...) to see that sort of stuff happens as having the same old ideas can keep something good and pure but sometimes a shake up is needed to keep them alive, though that shake up needs to be in the right direction. the mun: Josie is really a great person to talk to and I know we don’t talk very often but it is nice to see what comes up on your end, the silly things that might happen, or ideas and stuff that you want to share! Do I; follow them: Yes! rp with them: Yeah, from time to time whenever we’re putting out replies! want to rp with them: Well duh! ship their character with mine: We already have a few, but I wouldn’t mind having more or working on the ones we already have! A Defender from the Dark

Versus!: @negadrakemallard​

A wavy shadow quickly moved into a smelly alleyway of the grotesque and absolutely pitiful looking city that he had to stay in. The flickering streetlight that was behind him wasn’t doing him any favors either as he had some determined delinquents on his trail. The duck was most certainly running for his life, as the punks he was running away from had real weapons and powers that he right now couldn’t hope to fight against. It would have been an unwinnable battle, one that would surely spell his demise and the loss of someone else trying to keep the peace or at least make sure the world wouldn’t spiral down into insanity, even if it seemed like it was already there. His heart was pounding, those webbed feet of his were slapping the ground with as much force as he had to get away from those villains and here he was, running out of options... literally.

​From where he was, he only had a very few amount of options at hand and some of them did not look like they would do him any good. The only one that did was if he were to go inside one of the buildings through the fire escape and hope they aren’t too bloodthirsty to go through there for him. Besides, he needed a place to rest and that wouldn’t be anywhere out here from those savages. They were on his tail though, as he could see that one of them had shot out what could only look like bone marrow at him while another blasted a wave of energy that he didn’t even want to know. Darkwing did manage to see his opening for one of the buildings he was running next to, so he pulled out his gas gun from his jacket that already had the grappling hook attachment inserted and aimed for the highest section of the fire escape to the building to his right as he could before firing off the gun. Out sprung that roped hook that would use as a lifeline to escape those creeps, at least for now, and it was certainly doing work as it found it’s way to one of the higher sections of the fire escape before wrapping around the hand railing and securing itself.

“Sorry miscreants, but I can’t stick around with you all! Gotta leave!!!”, he taunted in his usual egotistical fashion before pressing the trigger again to reel the rope towards the hook. He was already airborne now but not without dodging a few more projectiles from his unwanted fans and then landing onto the foot holding awkwardly. He quickly detached the grapple component from his gun and holstered it before quickly opening the window next to it and entering it. He’d love to go back for that extension but any longer out there and he would have been more dead than those bone projectiles. Yet the building he had entered belonged to a rather well known individual in town, and and it wasn’t something he expected. Sticking to the wall next to the window was suicide, so he ventured on a little bit into the place to find a good place to catch a breather, all until he saw that it too was occupied but by one of his most hated enemies, Negaduck....​

Okay. So it’s worse than he thought. Hundreds. Thousands. 

He and Jim can do something though. They’re Darkwing and Lightwing! Best heroes of Saint Canard! 

He likes to think that anyways, when things are bleak looking. 

He pauses however and looks at Jim curiously. “…sure?” He asks, sounding a bit unsure as to what Jim was going to say next. 

The older mallard’s eyes weren’t furrowed, as he didn’t want to come off too strong with what he was about to say next, but he did want to be absolutely clear with this. He had to be, as he didn’t want for the other to hurt themselves.

“I want to let you know that I feel... you shouldn’t be working on this case, or at least not in shape that you are. Maybe sit back while I see if I can someone to take the front lines in your place?”
