UGGGGH I thought I would get used to Phone Guy being named fucking Ralph, but I just CAN'T!

Like, as soon as I think "hey I'm warming up to the name Ralph for Phone Guy". I remember that's THE CANON NAME for the character and I go into an unquienchable rage!

I don't even hate the name "Ralph", that's the name of my psychitrist. I just hate that it's the CANON NAME FOR THE CHARACTER.

You know, the character that was practically FOUNDED on fanon for almost a decade! The character that honestly would honestly be better WITHOUT canon material because of much the FAN COMMUNITY made with him?! THAT FUCKING CHARACTER!?

Like with Vanny, I didn't LIKE what canon did with the character but I could live with it because like, the fanon versions lasted only 1-2 years at most. Plus with the leaks, we practically KNEW that Vanessa and Vanny were the same person, like it was obvious.

But 10 YEARS! Sine the begginning. Without ANY REAL WARNING!? NOW YOU FINALLY GIVE US CANON MATERIAL? Bogus man!

This is the last time I'm going to talk about this, I don't like perpetuating the stereotype of Autistic people not being able to change, but these are my feelings.

You can't just have a character be around for 10 years and just NOW give us canon information.

Just now, when you were 'busy', he called again. Chuuya took your phone to look who's calling, only to see the contact of your ex. Really, this guy should just let you be and move on! But since he doesn't get it, she's gonna let him experience you feeling actual pleasure. Chuuya picked up and your ex started to talk on how sorry he was or how you should get back together until he heard Chuuya's voice.

"Can you stop calling all the time and move on?", she said annoyed, continuing to play with your cunt. "W–who's this?! This isn't [Name].", Chuuya chuckled before responding to him. And also, some People Said on tiktok in a post that says: "say something you would get attacked for" And something like that, some People Said: "not every characters needs to be gay 😭", like, okay I get it not all characters need to be headcanoned as gay, but let People headcanon what they wanna headcanon. Leave them be.

And heres what I'm gonna say for all my loved ones in my tumblr family since they give headcanons to some characters:

Headcanon how you wanna headcanon them (LGBTQ or not. BUT DONT DO PROSHIP HEADCANONS), ship who you wanna ship LGBTQ or not but just dont ship something problematic (such as relatives, proshipping, adult x minor, big age Gap... Etc)... And just, you can headcanon characters however you want, just dont use proship or problematic headcanons.

And you can support the LGBTQ no matter what And if you dont, that doesnt make you a homophobe. And when I still had my Cathy61528 account, I only respected the LGBTQ community but even Drew stuff involving it, And then I started supporting it. But however, y'all can respect the LGBTQ community even if you're not the part of it or dont really support it. And If you're uncomfortable with it, thats okay, but still, just Show them some respect.

And, just dont fetishize the characters y'all wanna headcanon as gays or be the part of the LGBTQ community.

And this is what my anons crew friends told me before.... They told me that we all nowadays WORSHIP the LGBTQ community. So...

Search the anti tag for Lumity and Huntlow, you'll see most of the posts are from L*nter shippers, while the minority is from Willuz shippers. I swear, I hate L*nter with every fibre of my being, and obviously, many of its shippers are just as hateful. Not all of the shippers are like that but there are so many of them being problematic. They constantly hate on Amity and Willow for getting in the way of their ship by calling both of them boring, Amity being just Luz's gf, Willow being toxic to Hunter, etc. They say Lumity shippers being biphobia for hating their ship, and some still draw Luz cheating on Amity with Hunter, feeding to the harmful biphobia stereotype, how ironic. They would say Huntlow is a crackship that Dana adds in the last minute, but some would whine about L*nter is supposed to be canon because of a drawing of Luz kissing an unknown prince in Sense and Insensitivity. Some shippers are disgusting proshippers because they also ship Am*ter at the same time. A L*nter artist on X, //WeinasWan even draws a comic of them beating Lumity and Huntlow shippers because the shippers are happy about their ships have a kiss scene and being canon. //WeinasWan also hate on both Amity and Willow for getting in their ship, making a comic about Amity will become an abuser like Odalia, and saying Willow only gets noticed because of Huntlow. They even hate on Dana for not making their ship canon.

If I'm entirely honest, even if I get that all fandoms love angst, I find it kinda tiring, especially when it comes to MCRP, because I got into MCRP partly to get away from the angsty shit. And that's still what I tend to want from it, and it feels like the perfect medium for more lighthearted and tongue-in-cheek stuff, because it's so inherently goofy lbr, but I guess people just love angst so much that they just gotta make everything about the angst

Not that I can't appreciate the angst too, sometimes, but there's been so much of it on QSMP lately. This is what frustrated me about DSMP too, when it just kept getting angstier and angstier and bleaker and bleaker...

I mean it's not that I think ALL MCRP has to be lighthearted, I would never wanna arbitrarily limit any medium like that, it's mostly just me being frustrated with the general tendency where I get into some series because it's funny and lighthearted but also has a cool story going on, and then inevitably it ALWAYS seems to get super angsty and often lose the things that made it appealing to me in the first place. I used to get this a lot with webcomics and now I'm getting it with MCRP

Jungryeok's introduction yesterday was a breath of fresh air tbh, didn't need to worry about any of the angst for several hours, just people chilling and having fun (even tho I was kind of overwhelmed too lol)

I'd like to enjoy Phil's streams the same way, and he does generally do his best to keep things lighthearted (even when it's his own angst he tends to not take it very seriously), but the angsty storylines keep intruding on his chill vibes too, you can't chill when you know what's actually going on in other POVs

(also the FOMO is too strong, I ended up watching Bagi and Tubbo instead of Phil yesterday because I wanted to know what happened and then I also kept checking in on Bad's POV when I realised he was live etc. I know that's my own fault, I should just not watch them when they're being angsty if I don't want angst but I still care about the characters and the story orz)

(And I want to check the tags on Tumblr and I want to see what other people are posting about QSMP, but the angst is even more impossible to avoid in fandom spaces, also it makes you very conscious about how people feel about Phil and his character so then you're even more stressed out when you watch his streams because any time he says something because he doesn't know any better or because he's assuming that the server is primarily meant for fun and not to be taken overly seriously, you know people are gonna rant about it, and then you have to once again quarantine yourself from the fandom to avoid being annoyed, which is boring)

It's the same problems I had with DSMP...

This is why I should become a Hermitcraft main again tbh

But at the same time I can't get the multilingual experience on Hermitcraft, I remember the other day seeing Iskall and Keralis talk and I found myself wondering for a second why they weren't speaking Swedish to each other (dw I did realise it very quickly lol) because I'd gotten so used to seeing people switching languages based on who they were talking to

The language stuff is 100% what I would miss the most if I dropped QSMP

I mean I would miss the roleplay too, I do enjoy the roleplay. And the eggs. And the characters in general. But yknow, there's other roleplay series out there, the multilingual aspect is harder to find

I 100% agree with you on all that "alpha male" werewolf trash. I was asking for recommendations became I'm always looking for books with female werewolves, sapphic werewolves especially; others are welcome to recommend, if course. I could go on a rant too, so I guess we can lament the state of werewolf fiction in solidarity. The only books I know with a sapphic wolf shifter romance had the wolf shifter and her girlfriend as supporting characters, but I loved it nonetheless.

Most of what I've found in the werewolf side of things is decidedly cis male oriented. There isn't a great deal of material focused on marginalized genders, much less queer ones that aren't themselves mlm in nature. It's part of the reason why I stick to broader genres and literary niches: I can still keep pace with contemporaries I admire without being constantly disappointed and/or aggravated.

It's funny, too , because the 'sapphic couple in the background' thing is hilariously common in a lot of queer lit (it's actually not funny it's really annoying). SO OFTEN, I'm looking for a sapphic couple I wanna read about in, say, fanfiction, and go through the tags, only to see that a solid 35-50% of the stories the tag feature in are MLM stories in which they play the part of 'queer window dressing.'

It happens so regularly that I would all but prefer they weren't tagged at all, because their importance to the overall narrative doesn't warrant the tag in the first place. It's like they only exist on the sidelines to pose as sapphic cred, and not much else.

Usually I'd just ignore these kinds of anons asks but I'll bite for once. Let me just quickly list down my thoughts. Throwing this under read more so feel free to skip my rant.

Either people see it seriously or as a joke, fact of the matter is it's up to their interpretation. They wanna have fun with the idea of them being exes? Not my cup of tea but go nuts. More power to you for seeing it that way.

The ships are 'all over the place' could just be people, you know, having fun with their ships. I don't know why you'd send this to me, the person who assigns Friede as my fandom bicycle (and because I personally view him as a disaster bisexual) where I'm down for any adult riding him around (yes, innuendo intended).

If you don't like seeing a certain kind of ship, the block and mute tags features are your besties. Please, you'd be so much happier if you curate your social media experience. Both on here and Twitter, I heavily curate my dash / timeline that I rarely see any sort of discourse unless the algorithm shove it into my face. And it doesn't have to be anything major too. I've blocked people here solely because I found it annoying to see their posts on the Pokemon Horizons tag. If goes both ways. I have anonymous asks on because I like seeing people send me prompts or asks about a series I've come to love. It's a struggle for me to go through my day to day life and you think I'm going to entertain every weird / hate ask I get? Really, it costs absolutely nothing to keep your thoughts to yourself. a quick fic rant!

omfg, I'm so tired of seeing untagged mlf and fem!reader fics. if they are women, tag it. if the pronouns are not gender-neutral, tag them. Hell, if the reader is any gender, or no gender, TAG IT.

I've had to scroll through so many untagged female reader fics for a character who's literally a gay man. I don't care if you change their sexuality out of canon, I can't change that but Christ, tag it. I don't wanna get invested in a really good fic and then get misgendered or read that "y/n was wearing a short skirt and a top that accentuated her breasts" dude.

Honestly, I feel really weird about women treating MLM content like a fetish. My sexuality is not just something for you to get off to. Yes, you can like MLM characters and ships. When I got your ask I was like hm what’s this? Only to be hit straight in the feels with a truckload of bricks. ‘Annoy’ me you say. Something like this could never annoy me. This was legit me reading your ask holding back tears:

Tbh I was in a massive writing slump since like end of April. Idk what happened. I got a lil sad, then sick, then even more sad, then my birthday came up, then I got burnt out, next thing I knew it was June and my writing skills just switched off. Nothing all of May(except that one fic I barely remember writing while sick and fueled purely by spite). So when I wrote the last Neymessi fic, I was like not doing great at all. But idk I felt like I had to write something and the idea had been swimming in my head. But writing too sad fics when you’re already sad just = feeling shit about your work. Plus I felt so bad about writing, I thought it would be my last fic ever.

But I mean now I’m no longer feeling weird about writing and I can see the fic from an objective pov. I made a ton of typos and used the same words like twice in one sentence and just cringe phrasings. I could’ve done it better. However, I managed to write 4000 words when I thought I couldn’t. So I won’t delete it cause I can be at least proud of that fact. Also I’m not a quitter, if I delete the fic, the knowledge will haunt me forever. But I will be writing the second chap and I have ideas.

Now I feel kinda bad about it cause I know I said chap 2 will be sweeter buuuut I think it might still be sad. But only because I wanna write a 3rd chapter which will be sweeter. However keyword is sweeter…not sweet. Uh it’ll be a bittersweet ending cause either way Leo’s still leaving but I could never bring my heart to be entirely miserable like that. So don’t worry, it’ll end wellness 😌 but chap 2 is mostly just gonna be Leo’s pov and thoughts then chap 3 will be them finally talking after we hear what Leo’s thinking.

Also…about strawberries and cream though I logged into my ao3 for the first time a couple weeks yesterday and I was so shocked? Last I checked it was at 400 now it’s almost doubled😭😭 I’m so shook. But I’m glad you liked strawberries and cream. It’s one of my fave fics I wrote too.
