Weird SH3 dream I had + a sketch page to illustrate some bit of it

OK SO I don't even know how to start it because it's always hard to tell when dream stories start 😭😭 but I can only remember of a BIG and WIDE library scenery. I felt very surprised because something told me it was a whole new "story expansion" that went in the SH3 HD collection (how specific of my brain, never played that version if u wanna know) almost like a discovered secret (so discovered that I remember coming to Twitter shouting like "WDYM THERE WAS A GODDAMN STORY EXPANSION IN AN HD COLLECTION HOW DIDN'T I KNOW THAT WTF". All of this in the dream, with the whole emotion LOL).

The funniest and weirdest point of the story in the game is the characters, more specifically Heather, Claudia n Vincent, the three fuckers were all in the same room aka the big library, but something about their interactions was very… different.

More specifically towards Vincent, dude was ABSOLUTELY STRESSED, he wasn't being the same slightly passive-aggressive he was with Claudia in the real game, or doing his common gaslight with his stable and concentrated voice tone, nah dude, he was COMPLETELY MAD, idk why, idk who hurt him but bro kgkgkfjgkgj he had no patience while taking to both Heather and Claudia, y'know that scene where Heather is about to get out of the same room as Vincent in their first meet and he shouts "WAIT, I'M NOT FINISHED TALKING"? It sounded pretty arrogant and aggressive, right? Now imagine it multiplied by 10 and we have Vincent having the worst day of his life, don't talk to him or else you die.

As a result, both Heather n Claudia was becoming as stressed as he was, mainly Heather in this case, dude was getting so arrogant that she had enough of that shit, she literally THREW HIM ON THE FLOOR, LITERALLY PICKING HIM ON THE ARMS AND SHIRT COLLAR N THROWING HIM ON THE FLOOR LIKE A… IDK LIKE A JUDO WRESTLER??? ISTG IT LOOKED SO FUNNY YET SO UNCANNY, IMAGINE HEATHER BEATING THE SHIT OUT OF HIM, THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED (y'know that eerie feeling when you see irl ppl fighting and you're like "omg why are they doing this pls STOP", that's how I felt on the dream seeing such scenery, but as we speak now I can't help but LAUGH LOUD like kdjfksjsek I LOVE REMEMBERING THIS, I LOVE 2 SEE MY MAN GETTING BULLIED IDK WHY).

There was also that confusing information that was inserted into my brain that the story was actually a SEQUEL of the events like??? Vincent received the backstab but didn't rlly die??? Neither Claudia??? But they were in there… As if nothing happened (maybe that was the reason Vincent was so distressed, he couldn't believe such a thing happened LOL). After Vinny got completely ROASTED by Heather, he was there on the floor trying to get up, he was as mad as before but he couldn't do a thing, only look at Heather with his eyebrows working the RAGE that was inside of him.

Jeez, I loved that dream, hope I can have more of this in my future nights 🤣

After reading some of your fics about will and alex, just wanna drop some thoughts. I hope u dont mind, and dont need to feel pressured to reply or anything, i just wanna rant. Correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure will only knew alex for about 3-4 years not 7-8 years, a few months after he went to prison, and he started to get close with her since hideaway ONLY BECAUSE 1. Em wasnt with him (so he needed a distraction), 2. Damon hurt him (so he lost a bestfriend, bcs he felt isolated by michael and kai), 3. Because alex went through similar things with aydin (they never thought em and aydin would want them). But even then, alex and will was never close like that, no. Because if they were close, then why wouldnt alex knew will's personality, passion, motive in life etc.? I guess their relationship is still shallow af. Like this woman got shot and abandoned in blackchurch by aydin, and will (the selfish bastard he was) still didnt gaf enough about his allegedly "new best friend" and only cared about emmy. So i guess these two people really fit each other in a way lmfao!

Damon and alex were always just tools for will to not face reality and not to be alone (even though this fandom really did love to overly romanticise, sexualise and fetishise willdamon's relationship possibly bcs its MxM unlike Rika and Alex who were FxF pairing). One thing to note though, i dont think alex and damon ever truly knew will bcs it always felt like will cared about them more but they only cared about using him to enable themselves? But will wasnt innocent andhe used them too so yeah. Will had been doing drugs and alcohol even random sex even before prison/ before damon hurt him right? So i also dont understand why the fandom likes to act as if damon's hurting him was the worst because every time he was at his lowest, it was shown it was always related to emmy. Sure, did the drowning made him feel sad? Yeah, but he only wanted to die because he thought no one, not even damon the tool he used to forget emmy was there by his side anymore. Then Damon always made up by trying to control will via sex, drugs or even alcohol, so their relationship was never healthy anyway. Idk, their relationship is always icky to me. On a separate note, i feel like the relationship between the horsemen or even will and alex was always a tad bit too shallow. Granted that they like the mystery behind not knowing everything about their friends and family, it's still unsatisying to me because there were many times problems could be solved by simple communication or understanding your friend's situation. Like!! Theyre friends and family with will but they never really knew shit about him because 1. Will never took it seriously, 2. They like to dismiss will even when he brought something to the table. Like how come damon and alex who was will's "bffs" didnt know shit about will's personality and why he was in blackchurch (bc)?? And emmy just figured out that they would need aydin as an ally after a week? Theyre so fucking dumb istg 😭☠️ dumb and annoying af! Like?? I cant stand them, they be on a whole ship in conclave but they still cant figure shit out, but from whaever tidbits that em got about bc since high school, she figured that its a good place for ally... god em's the smartest in this group for a reason. I think it's also bcs emmy always watch things from a far and dont get insider information so its easier for her to not get too caught up with her heart and mind about inside info of the horsemen, until she became their fam too yk.

Also when em scolded alex for not telling alex aboutwill's disappearance and alex said about its not like em would care as if alex being by will's side ever did something good for him 😭☠️ like they were literally sex addict, drug & alcohol overdose partners! They both need help! They were only enabling each other because of reality that they never want to confront (surprise surprise just like emmy but emmy handled it differently) but then they turned around and judged em, like wtf??? I cant stand will alex sometimes ngl. Like even if alex cared so what? Will wouldve died from poisoning so her presence in his life would still be useless af, along with his friends. None of them cared enough until they couldnt deal with his shit anymore and he needed to grow up now. Like alex didnt even know he went missing and people ship them??? Taking care of will?? Its also interesting how contrasting rika, banks, damon and emmy's pov of will alex's relationship are. Rika (the initially male pleaser and apologiser) thought that they were taking care of each other and holding onto each other. Banks (the initially stupid man and preppy woman hater) thought they were just casual friends who hooked up but friendly towards each other, damon (the initially over indulging man and woman hater) saw alex as a temporary distraction, and em saw them as enablers. None show any romantic intonation at all. Only rika saw their relationship as this holding onto each other when in reality, just like emmy said, they were enabling each other before one of them eventually injured badly first. I dont know what kind of care is that, but deffinitely not something will needed. Thats why even damon said that in conclave that will never needed alex. But its also intersting how contrasting rika and emmy's povs about willalex. rika saw it like that because of her naive shallow privileged world but emmy saw that because she never grew up privileged so she did not have as much opportunity to look at this kind of dynamic in a kinder manner. Like when she kinda blamed banks about kai's disappearance. Rika and alex kinda simikar that they thought love can save all and thats why their comversation can become too icky for me.

GOOD;

• GODDAMN THAT SHIT WAS GOOD - from a plot perspective, a lot of callbacks to classic era, honestly made me wanna get britbox and watch classic who like the hype I felt seeing the past doctors - if I had actually watched their eras I would’ve shat myself even more

• SACHA FUCKING DHAWAN - someone give this man a fucking Oscar HOLY SHIT. He stole the show - he really did !!

• The VISUALS WILL AHHEIEHRIEJE ISTG NO OTHER ERA WILL HAVE BETTER SFX than this era! I will DIE ON THAT HILL

• YAZ - EVERYTHING ABOUT YAZ 😍 this is why she is top tier companion material my friends. BRIDAL CARRIES THE DOCTOR, SAVES THE FUCKING DAY, TAKES NO CREDIT FOR IT, FLYS THE TARDIS WITH HER NOTES, CAN READ GALLIFREYAN (apparently), STANDS UP TO THE MASTER, BECOMES THE DOCTOR IN HER OWN RIGHT, and is SO BRAVE when saying goodbye

• the actual regeneration - her little speech, her last sunrise, “tag, youre it” FUCK ME THATS SUCH A THIRTEEN THING TO SAY 😭 she was just so at peace with her fate, she knew it was time and she just accepted it

• THE companion support group situation at the end, and how they left a seat for Sarah Jane. That was beautiful

BAD;

• Idk if it was just me but it didn’t seem like Jodies doctor was given a lot to do? Like she gets taken away, gets forced into regeneration, degenerates into herself, gets rid of the daleks and the cybermen with her team, gets shot by a laser and then actually regenerates ?

• Obviously we already know how I feel about Jodie regenerating into David and the “what, what, what” - didn’t love it at all but it is what it is, moving on

• I don’t really understand what the point of having Vinder back was ? Kinda just felt like they wanted to bring Jacob back bc they like him? Same with Graham - like nice to see him, but him and Yaz barely acknowledged each other? Same with him and the doctor?

CONFLICTED;

• Companion endings - Dan leaving? Made sense but felt out of place and sort of rushed?

• The thasmin of it all - LOOK, I could make a WHOLE other post about this. One the one hand, we got quite a lot, like seeing that they’re equals, them always having each other’s back and wanting the other safe, soft touches, actions of love, acts of service, “[the Doctor] is loved”, “my doctor”, and “I’ve loved being with you Yaz”. That was their version of I love you and it was beautiful.

Their goodbye scene was HEARTBREAKING. Genuinely I’ve never heard more beautiful words said between two people who love each other and know it’s time to let each other go. The doctor saying “you know what this means right?” Shows that they’ve already talked about this, this conversation has been had off screen and we weren’t meant to be a part of it: it was something between them. Their plan was one last trip to end on a good note and idk I just, loved it. I will forever tear up watching that scene.

There could’ve been much more done, it felt VERY RUSHED towards the end. One the one hand, I’m not feeling that optimistic hopeful approach that was setup to be felt for Yaz’s ending. She’s jusy back on earth, and will probably work for UNIT and continue to save the earth. ONE THE OTHER HAND, it’s such a full circle moment bc when she started, she had just met someone who lost the love of their life but decided that the best way to grieve was find comfort in others. That’s exactly what she’s doing. She’s just lost the doctor and now, she’s found a group of people who have gone through exactly what she has gone through, and they’re getting through it together.

The lack of a kiss again I feel conflicted. I was convinced they were going to and was kinda mad they didn’t but then I sat and thought about it and I’m almost glad that they didn’t. It would’ve hurt them both too much, “it felt cruel, to be shown something I couldn’t have anymore. It felt like I’d rather not have know” pretty much sums that up I think. ALSO they did share a cheek kiss, bc Yaz kisses the doctor on the cheek when she bridal carries her 😌

Yaz being alive means that there’s a high possibility of her coming back, and I hope they definitely bring Jodie back as well in future.
