Hitting you with my new design for Qi Rong. Here's the design things and changes I made:

I loved how stupidly the colors clashed on his Donghua fit but I wanted it to look a little different.

I also always pictured him with shorter scrappy hair but I really liked the braid in the Donghua so now he has both. I mean look how terrible his bangs are. He is the embodiment of perfection.

I gave him a bunch of skulls and bone themes stuff because it's cool and fits his vibe. I have no idea what the skull around his neck came from though. I'm gonna say it's the skull of an infant.

His teeth are really effed up too. I want him to just look really gross and disturbing and the teeth just gave that image to me. The toothgap is so fat you could fit a pencil, maybe even two pencils in it. And when his mouth is closed his bottom flat teeth are so short that in addition to the tooth gap, theres just this gaping hole which he probably sticks his tongue out of to be a chaotic little shit.

The scar on his neck was something I came up with based on my own headcannons. We don't really know for sure how he died as a mortal, just that it was probably in a massacre of the Xianle royalty. So if he was executed, I'd like to imagine he was beheaded as thats typically how exucutions would go. I also wanted the scar to mirror Xie Lian's cursed shackle because these two parralel to each other so hard it's not even funny.

The thumbless glove stayed because thats funny as shit. My boy really is just telling everyone to fuck off.

I kind of liked doing this and so I might go after Hua Cheng or He Xuan next.... it depends on how people react to feral goblin Qi Rong and his fucked up teeth.

I know I've been awfully quiet lately. Nothing bad's been going on, so don't worry! But I've just been very artistically unmotivated and buzzy brained lately, so I haven't felt like doing anything much for the online world. And there's not really anything worth "updating" on, either. (Although I've gotten some pretty cool Pokemon in that time~)

Hopefully now with birthday thoughts moving behind me, I can start to feel some more art happies trickle in! ^^

I know I haven’t made art of it often ( I find this design very complicated to draw ;-; ) , but I really do love the Godseeker’s real form just as much as her Dream World self ❣️

She’s so pretty and majestic … plus there’s  the option to bring her a Delicate Flower in-game , which is something that I always do in every single one of my playthroughs : she absolutely deserves it , and I’d 100% gift her more if I could ;C; 🧡🧡

The way she holds it with her little hand is just - she looks so cute , I love her so much ;//; ❣️❣️

Aaron’s mask was untouched. Initially it was suspected he had not participated, but he claims it was intentional. When asked to elaborate he stated that “white is what happens when you mix all the colors together and sometimes that’s how I feel…like I’m everyone else’s…whatever…all mixed together.” When pointed out that his statement implied that he was not his own person Aaron just shrugged and grew quiet.

lemme tell u i love the characterisation: hotch (&emily) in this fic r so precious to me. mentally unstable, homocidal, & secretly insecure teens that are just teens <3 like. okay hotch fr murdered someone yet he grieves it with that youthful intensity & ‘but i want it back’-ism bc he loved her and its so heartbreaking. AGH HIS DIARY ENTRY IS TOO!!! as is every reference to What Is Wrong with him :(( <//3

and!! i’ve never read a foyet/anyone else thing before but hotchniss/foyet in this fic was so interesting. like, his characterisation was transformative enough that it makes so much sense!! like while also being subtle?? like nobody is making out w tongue hotch is just comfortable around them both, horny, and pretty sure emily/foyet r into each other. emily/foyet r just enabling each other while they also make hotch let loose, while hotch introduces some sweetness into emily’s life . . . it just Works

I'll be honest I'm really enjoying the Acolyte discussions my last 2 posts have started. To clarify I don't mean the sweaty youtube self styled critic kind of discourse (that's just melodramatic ragebait) I mean the Pro-Jedi, Anti jedi and Jedi Critical discourse. It's like a petri dish study of a micro-scale thankfully fictitious holy war that I find fascinating. Every time I think I've settled on a stance I read a response that's fascinating and challenges my conceptions of this franchise. Honestly keep it up folks, this is so refreshing and sure as hell beats relying on the Muskrat's site for interesting SW discussion. Common SW Tumblr W I guess

ON AVERAGE HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO DRAW / RENDER YOUR ART BECAUSE I FEEL LIKE YOU PRODUCE MASTERPIECES LIKE HOTCAKES AND I HAVE SO MUCH RESPECT FOR YOU

ermmmmm it depends !!!! maybe like an hour or two from start to finish if its just a simple drawin' but if it's something fully rendered or im making multiple drawings/a character doodle page maybeeeeee like five-six hours.... idk ....

Had a very odd experience at the eye doctor where everyone was very nice and also they deadnamed me the entire fucking time despite my name being in their systems. So it was just like *smiles sweetly while shoving a knife in my gut and twisting* the whole fucking visit. And I couldn’t tell at first if it was active transphobia or lack of training or what, but I didn’t exactly wanna cause a big scene in front of the whole waiting room (which was open to a massive hallway to the rest of the fucking hospital) and then once I was back in the maze of rooms the optical people have their various machines in I was too disoriented and didn’t know where the nearest exit was (which is very important to me if I’m gonna be correcting potential deliberate transphobia, what with the whole “my actual name is in their fucking charts and it says that I’m genderqueer in the fucking charts” thing)

Very funny thing where at one point the optical tech was measuring the pressure of my eye with a little thing that lightly taps the surface (like the machine that blows air on your eye, but handheld and faster and a bit more accurate) (it sounds scarier than it is, it just feels like something’s tickling your eyelashes). And she had to redo the test 3 times cuz the pressure in my eyes was high. And part of that can be caused by blood pressure being raised due to nerves or holding your breath or all sorts of things. And all I could think was “yeah of course I’m nervous, I’m stuck in a room with someone who’s been calling me the wrong name for the past however long” cuz like. Who wouldn’t be nervous in that case?!

Idk. It’s just a very unfortunate thing where I’m starting to see the effects of having an “inclusion clinic” where the training on queer issues is generally up to date and people know to look at the part of charts that has the preferred name. Cuz now it seems like the hospital is Only doing training on queer stuff with doctors in that clinic, and god help any trans person that needs specialty care from any other part of the hospital system
