I do think a lot about transfem BOTW Link. Slowly finding her memories and watching this boy and thinking Oh, he was miserable. Sticking flowers in her hair and spending days catching fish with her bare hands and talking with a high voice and cooking terrible meals to experiment and finding herself a bra and knowing that boy would hate her. Hate her for emberassing him, for not following the rules, for not being who she's supposed to be, for not being him. Hate her because he'd be so jealous of her it'd make him sick. And feeling nothing but pity for him. That he had to die to live. That he was too cowardly to be her. And then she goes on sticking flowers in her hair and cooking terrible meals and being happy.
