I recently noticed a lot of similarities in my recent hyperfixatons

Three games about little dudes explore the world (or planets), solve problems to move forward and all three games have wonderful soundtrack

Also two of these games have spirits that you have to help (samorost and sky)

Aaand.... oh! All these games have at least one cool glowing deer in it!

something i really like about funger 1 is that the dungeon of fear and hunger is just there and people have to get in by themselves. in funger 2 the characters are unwillingly pulled into termina but in the first game they just chose to do that

oh, but Elisabeth was done dirty. we could've had such a stunning female character with snark and beliefs, but what we got was a robbed woman with no taste in clothes (Charlotte, a not plot-related character, was dressed better. I'm sorry, El).

instead of being defiant, she became pliant with time. I was shocked to hear her say “I was of a better opinion about you, Dr. Reid” when (or if) you confess you didn't kill her backmailer. lol, this woman literally said: you're paying out of your own wallet for that one, even if I'm responsible for things I'm accused of; finish things next time, mate.

(she got a raise out of me on this one, not gonna lie—I was starting to adore her for having opinions and being cruel.)

then, in a second, she's all “why, excuse me this, excuse me that, til we meet again, Dr. Reid, I invite you to my manor, come, my dear”. like WHAT. where's the build-up. where's your character? she turned so bland, and while the storyline tried to make her useful, they didn't make her any better than that.

ooh a Lady goes to the sewers, ooh a Lady is so valiant, ooh this and that. the fuck. did they make a big fuss out of the help she herself suggested, really?

also, her “I don't care about Ekon politics until they accept female members” is a shit stance. you raised a girl so defiant she screams about equal rights for women all around West End, but you yourself just sit and do nothing to make posh white men accept you as their equal? that's unfathomable to me. use your wit, use your knowledge. tell these men, I am William Marshall's progeny too, floor them with that statement. you might be reclusive, but don't let it become your ignorance. you don't share posh white men's beliefs? change them, then. make yourself matter, make a change for yourself so you don't rot and wail in loneliness for the rest of eternity. there are people like Reid somewhere, for you yourself are different from those you despise. it's a new dawn, it's a new day—make someone's life better, help other female Ekons or, hell, Skals?

truthfully, Old Bridget is a much better option than Elisabeth, despite her little patches of disfigured skin. at some point I wished her to be his apple of the eye, but well. the masses want pretty white women onscreen, whose only character traits are caution and interest in a hot man.

This update is so!!!!!!!! It's SO COOL!!!! Clown, the voice actors, animators, artists did SO amazingly its awesome like!!!!! This update is so so so cool!

Spoilers since it's literally like, the first day

Ive repeated myself a lot but:

ITS SO COOL!!!!!

all the stuff with eddie!!!!! Him being absent being cut off from the wishlist was so cool! I didn't even notice it at first till some people pointed it out!! But the whole sequence of mix of animated ads real sets/props and PUPPETS!!! it's SO well made the animations was so cute!!! And the whole sequence with Eddie was so freaky!!! Houses eyes made me genuinely uncomfortable to where I had to look away from the screen!! It was so well made and so cool!!! Like HUGE props to the animators and artists cause omg

Also as I reblpgged and someone pointed out the aggression in the commercial from the website is so interesting! I didn't really grasp it while watching but I did have a reaction to Eddie getting so mad!! Ot caught me off guard since he's proreyed as being anxious but going w the flow really so!!! it was so cool and well made !!!!!

And the !!!! Frank seemingly breaking character??? It was so good it caught me so off guard!!! I also wonder if it connects to his song at all? Because it's a song about being forced to let things go? But idk

All the voice actors did so well too!!! Like the songs recorded and book were so fun to listen to!! Like I genuinely want to listen to them again!! They're so much fun and so cute!!

I'm talking alot but all in all this update was amazing!! I can't wait to see if there's more we missed since it just came out but!!!! im excited!!!
