Had a dream I was watching season 3 of Rottmnt, it was so vivid and now I’m sad that it isn’t real. So I’m writing some highlights from the dream before I forget.

Draxum and Casey focused episodes on what they were doing during the movie. There were really cool action sequences with original music and everything. It was so cool. There was one scene where the screen divided in half to show both battles.

Music during action scenes. There was a lot of it. I suspect it might have been because I watching Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur before going to sleep tho.

An episode premise: April finally had a good stable job. She was going steady for a whole 2 weeks setting a new record. The turtles got a little suspicious since April can never keep a job for long. Cue investigation, it turns out the job is a front. A front for a cult. April accidentally joined a cult. By the end of the episode April accidentally destroyed the cult in the same way she usually ends up losing her jobs. Alas the curse of April losing her job was too strong.

Another Episode Premise: Splinter and Draxum go undercover for an intel mission at a fancy club. The cover story being that they’re two friends who are trying to reconnect. They’re kinda bad at it since both argue like a married couple. This actually works in their favor tho as the person they’re trying to spy on to get info on is a huge romantic who is super invested in trying to get the two to “reconnect”. Both are forced by the turtles to play along for the sake of the mission. By the end of the episode Draxum and Splinter have performed a proposal, a wedding, a divorce, another re proposal, alongside with a remarriage, but not another divorce because they have to book it away because the turtles got captured. Which meant by the end of the episode Draxum and Splinter were still married.

Over Arching Story: Bishop was hunting down the remaining Foot Clan members. Which included trying to find former Foot Clan members for any information. Of course leading Bishop to Casey. Casey sends him on a wild goose chase as she goes on her own mission to find her former bosses. Being the B plot for a lot of the episodes. In one instance she teams up with Piebald in a gambling ring to win some info.

Running Gag: Casey Jr tries going into the dating world but has trouble since most people who are his age now, were adults during the apocalypse. So if he does find someone to date who he doesn’t recognize they usually end up being some form of “not real”. Highlight examples being: an alien who assumed a human persona to lure specimen to experiment on their ship, a demon with similar motives to the alien except it wanted to eat Casey Jr’s soul, an ai made by Bishop made to find potential Foot Clan members. What was funny was how obvious a lot of them were, like the alien wore a “I believe” shirt but with sharpie added “don’t”, changing it to “I don’t believe” (real master of disguise right here). The demon’s “flirting” was something along the lines of “if souls were edible and had taste, I bet yours would be a delicious meal that would amplify my demonic powers. If I had demonic powers, which I don’t because I’m a perfectly normal human. But in the hypothetical where I do-”. The ai when asked it’s favorite hobby responded with “breathing and being human”.

Bishop had an entire episode where he beat up different clans in his attempt to find the Foot Clan. Making some leave their old clans to join Bishop since he bested them in battle. But Bishop didn’t want a bunch of ninja (idk why not, that sounds incredibly useful) so he sent them on a wild goose chase but every time he did they came back having accomplished the goal. (Again I don’t understand why he kept acting like they were an annoyance when they were getting him things like THE GOD DAMN ELIXER OF EVERLASTING LIFE)

That’s all I have the energy to write. If I remember anything worth adding I will but I think these were all the highlights.

Cig!! I am in desperate need of your help! I am seeing this very cool British band in a few months. They are called Yard Act, they’re from Leeds (???) and they’re very witty, kind of snarky, quite political. Really got their finger on the pulse of British culture. A modern Brit-Pop phenom, if you will (Elton John is a fan!!).

Anyway, I’m worried if I try to interact with them at all I’ll make a fool of myself. As we’ve established, British English and American English (‘Mericun) are very different languages!!! The last time I saw them they informed us that British people do not, in fact, say “well done” (I think they were pulling our legs tho because I have heard many Brits say it!). They also tricked us all into tipping the bartender!!

Anyway, how do I speak Brit? In their songs they use terms like ace, class and mint. Are these commonly used terms or are they using them ironically? (I’d love to start calling things mint, what does it mean?) If I tell them I’m on my ones will I sound cool or like I’m trying to be a 20-something south Londoner? Will they be impressed when I tell them I don’t watch face??? Should I buy them a beer or a pint??????

ok so idol groups all know each other for sure, pothos prolly interacted with them as well, but way less and more formal, soloists and urband legends def had only minor interactions IF they had those.

generally speaking, everyone in the company treat Andromeda like seniors/girlbosses (because they are) while cheer4U are now the youngest and newest group they are kinda babies to everyone Andromeda doesn't have very close relations to anyone (being popular doesn't help here), but they are considered like a proper sister group to Ishin-Denshin, due to some matching concept elements and being the 'foundation' of the company Andromeda and Ishin-Denshin def had their little collabs, specifically vocal-based, since both group got mad vocalists also important to point out that Ishin-Denshin are huge fans of Andromeda, like every single one of them loves them, they def have been following Andromeda since their school idol days and they are still not over the fact that they ended up in the same company

Ishin-Denshin and GRIMM parade are a bit closer, i think because they are the same age, and because Ryunosuke insisted they should be rivals LOL it didn't happen tho, because Ishin-Denshin are just sweeties, and were like "no thank you <3", so Ryunosuke settled on Ishin-Denshin being their supporters or smth anyways, they def hang out somewhat regularly, ofc each of GRIMM parade members is close to different Ishin-Denshin members i think main proper friendships i have are: Ryunosuke and Tadao (leaders and basically dads of their group... lowkey considering making them a couple ahaha...) Shouhei and Nobu+Kyo, Shouhei and Nobu are just besties who hang out a bunch, but two of them with Kyo had like a whole event of helping Shouhei deal with a nasty break up he had (Nobu had a shitty relationship too, while Kyo.. well... it's in his TH profile B) the point is Kyo and Nobu just helped Shouhei process things) Rokuro and Kyo - just hype boys who hype together

Are we talking about Matty lookalikes on stage in local bands? Or audience members?

Because I was at a pub seeing a very local (like I think they’re paid in beer and have 2 songs on Spotify and go to pubs within a 1 hour radius) band and there was a dude who looked and moved like Matty - the gangly, hunched shoulders, deliberately spilling his beer type, took his shirt off after thrashing around (a lot of people were thrashing but this dude was just doing like performance art of a grunge boy more than he was vibing) - in the crowd and everyone was creeped out by him and security patted him down for drugs and weapons and no one was into him.

On the other hand, at the same venue there was someone on stage who performed like Marty with the whole taking the microphone and playing with the lead and leaning backwards and had a real stage presence even though there were less than 100 people there and only 40 were actually huddled around the stage. He looked unwashed, had greasy hair, a stained white tank top and black ripped jeans that were too big for him but not super baggy. And girls were swooning. He didn’t even have a great voice imo, and he looked half asleep to me, but my friend just thought he was the epitome of cool. She said the way he moved (walked with a sort of swagger I can’t describe) made him look like he had loose hips which are good in bed and the bending over backwards and singing made her think he’d be flexible. And he did a lot of hand gestures which again made her think of sex with him.

I could only think of turning the hose on him. The drummer was genuinely good looking with odd styling (like imagine young Patrick Dempsey bit with Jodie Fosters hair as a lob lol)- and smiled the whole set which made him shine imo.

But I think Marty is the Everyman dirtbag chic. But as soon as you’re a musician you’re instantly more attractive. Like he and Timmy Chamalet could be brothers if one gets his teeth bleached and has a tailor and the other washes his clothes in the dishwasher with the dirty dishes in it at the same time and doesn’t want to live in his academic brothers shadow so he tries to act like he’s smarter than you’d expect cause no one knows wtf he’s taking about with those weird riddles. John Mayer falls somewhere between Timmy and Marty imo but he also goes to the gym.

I do actually think you’re right and it’s as simple as “dude in band on stage = sexy” and I just… don’t get it. I have never in my life heard a positive story about fucking a grungy dude in a band so like why on earth do people still willingly do it? 😭😭

Some more quick thoughts before i snooze

I put my finger on what dolokhovs manic energy was evoking for me, he just seemed fully coked up. It was awesome. And to elaborate on his outfit it was a hussar esque jacket over a sleeveless mosh shirt with holsters under his arms. 10/10

I think I'm just not a huge fan of the og Helene's voice because I don't love her as Persephone either - but i felt like this actress's voice worked a lot better with the musical style of charmante, taking it from one of my least favourite songs to realllly high up there. She also had the most luxurious semi transparent dressing gown, so perfect for her

Natasha is the one I'm most conflicted about... There's a lot of subtle changes to her when compared to denees version and they kind of go in various directions. On one hand, her angelic earnestness and innocence was made into a slightly (and i do mean slightly!) more bratty, insolent, sassy attitude? No one else felt a bit less spiritual and a bit more petulant, i felt like they were emphasising the immaturity and naivete of her feelings for andrei whereas from interviews i got the impression denee treated them with a lot more respect and gravitas. Her youth was also emphasised really heavily, with one of her props being a huge teddy bear and all her accessories being super pink and girly... This i guess is partly just because the costumes and props were almost entirely modernized in general, whereas Natasha's og white gown gave her a bit more of a dignified look. And finally, there were little changes to her dynamic with anatole - if I'm not mistaken, in the opera box she takes enough initiative to put her hand on his knee!! Which i felt was a bit unfitting because for me so much of the power of that scene always came from the way anatole threads that needle perfectly - nothing untoward is ever actually said or done, but it's his familiar way of speaking, his physical closeness and shameless staring that make natasha feel like her modesty is being violated. So to not only have something unambiguously romantic, even erotic, happen in that scene but for natasha to initiate it felt a bit like a betrayal! I dunno! Anatole also partially tears off her dress as the lights go dark at the end of the ball, which is another physical escalation of their intimacy that i wasn't sure about.

Replacement natasha actually had a really similar voice to denee??

Interesting choice to have andrei not actually show up at all until the end. Instead of having him be a presence that looms large and is always in Natasha's thoughts, it gives you a better understanding of how distant he feels to natasha at this time

There's this one ensemble member who was dancing her HEART OUT like she always seemed to be having the most fun out of anyone there. Amazing

Cannot emphasize enough how amazing of a voice Sonya had. She was really the only cast member consistently belting out these larger than life notes with her whole chest and i love her for it

Some mixed feelings on pierre as well! But not as much as natasha, it's mostly about his vocal performance and costume. I'll leave that for tmr tho

Oh i was DEVASTATED that they didn't do any cool staging for pierre vs anatole... Barely any physical contact between them at all .. as some might know i am the number one pierre manhandling anatole enjoyer so i was crushed

VERY pleasantly surprised that they changed the lyrics to goodbye my moonlight lovers!! Especially since the show has a warning for anti romani slur usage so i thought they'd be keeping the original text! Also the dancing in this song was top notch, dolokhov slamming his boots on the floor and everyone going wilddddd

maybe I’m being overly pessimistic, but I feel like I have to put down these thoughts, and just let them be.

I feel like dcc is making a very clear choice of what kind of people they want to attract and maintain to support dc, from the content they’ve shifted to on their notes, to now this new app where you pay a subscription fee to “chat” (because you don’t even actually chat with them since they apparently see all fans messages like a group chat??) privately with the members... yes capitalism and what not, but there’s a lot of other options dcc could go for (*cough* reprinting albums, hell even investing on an app like superstar sm but for dc only, even if it’s a big investment at first would totally pay itself off and profit given the time), than this type of thing that does nothing but feed even more delusional fans.

also while it’s cool dcc wants to collaborate with smaller companies to also help them grow (even tho a lot of stuff has been shady as fuck but whatever), they kinda need to actually look at what the big companies do right and idk try to copy the things they do right? how is it possible that there’s been no brand deals, or mc spots, or even acting opportunities for some of them? I’m not saying these opportunities are easy to come by, but at this point they’re a six year old group, and it doesn’t feel like any of them have enough experience to have a career outside of it? like what’s going to happen to them when inadvertently they can’t pull comebacks or go on tours as often and tirelessly as they do now? like yeah it’s good to live in the moment but dcc really needs to start working towards their future too.

and honestly since deja vu that dc have been losing their signature horror concept and I get that things can’t stay the same forever or it gets stagnate, but for a group that was so praised during nightmare era for their narrative and world building, it really sucks that we haven’t had that built properly since then. I gave the benefit of the doubt for dystopia era because it was the first since nightmare and it could just be that they needed time to adjust (music wise the concept was pretty solid for scream and boca at least but there really wasn’t much of a narrative on the mvs like nightmare era had), but apocalypse era is being even messier. from where I’m standing it feels like dcc doesn’t really care anymore about giving them interesting concepts because they know the fandom is gonna buy into it regardless. but it sucks that even on simple things like photobooks and season’s greetings, the horror concept that set them apart from other groups just isn’t present anymore. even if they kept the lighter and fun versions, the og fandom at least are still people who appreciate darker concepts so I don’t get why they’ve completely started to dismiss that.

it’s just getting tiring for me. I love their music, and I think I’ll definitely keep coming back to see what they’ve released, but everything else genuinely isn’t fun anymore. and it hasn’t been fun for a while now. I still care a lot about the girls and dc, reason why things being like this bothers me so much, but I also don’t think dcc will change anything in the future and actually do something right so

“No, way! Death by jizz!” Adrian exclaims.

“Honestly, like, is there a better way to go?” You laugh.

“I don’t know. Maybe we can test the theory later. You, me, a bottle of whisky, and some weed?” Chris suggests. You roll your eyes and laugh.

“Yeah, okay.” You say sarcastically, laughing again.

“He totally digs me.” Chris whispers to Adrian, loud enough for you to hear. You start to notice Adrian’s expression change as you continue to laugh. Chris slings a bag over his shoulder and heads out to the van.

“I didn’t think it was that funny.” Adrian says under his breath.

“Huh?” You ask, turning to Adrian.

“I said: I didn’t think it was that funny.” He repeats himself, clearer.

“Oh, come on. He’s just being stupid. The Flash totally does’t jizz faster than a bullet.” You say, slinging a bag over your shoulder, walking to join Chris, completely missing the point.

After a successful mission, you head back to the van, covered in blood, none of it your own.

“What you did out there was really cool!” Chris comments. You start to giggle with excitement. Adrian immediately stiffens.

“Yeah, you looked so hot when you chopped that guy’s head off with my sword!” Adrian adds. Did he just call you hot? Your face begins to grow red.

“And the thought that you did it with my sword? It looks so good in your hands.” He just keeps rambling on. You stay dead silent, unable to form words. You just smile and nod, hoping the blush on your face isn’t as red hot as you feel it is. After a while Economos turns up the music to drown out Adrian’s rambling and the team has one of their famous dance sessions.

As soon as the van parks you run out and up to the bathroom, looking for a bit of privacy for a moment to collect your thoughts and calm yourself.

“Was Adrian just flirting with me?” You whisper to yourself as you clean some of the blood off your face. The thought was exciting, but it made you so nervous. Did he know how you felt about him?

Meanwhile while you were inside cleaning blood off your face, Adrian and Leota were in the van having a conversation.

“Why do you look so disappointed?” She asks him.

“Whenever Chris flirts with (Y/N), he’s the funniest guy in the world and he’s perfect, but when I flirt with him he gets all quiet and doesn’t laugh at me at all and I personally think I’m a lot funnier-don’ttellChrisIsaidthat.” He says the last part so quickly it’s like the words just run together.

“And it’s not fair because I like totally called dibs and he doesn’t even know I exist.” Adrian adds. Leota laughs.

“What so funny?” He asks.

“He doesn’t like Chris. He likes you.” She confirms.

“Then why does he act like that?” Adrian ponders.

“He’s blushing. It’s because he’s flustered.” She laughs again.

“Oh.” Adrian says before going inside and heading up to the bathroom door. He gives it a knock.

“(Y/N)?” He calls for you. Your breath catches in your throat.

“Yeah?” You ask.

“Can I come in? Like obviously not if you’re on the toilet, but if you’re just sitting in there, can I come in?” He asks. You laugh, opening the door. You continue to wipe your face with a wash cloth in front of the mirror.

“I like you.” He blurts out. You watch your eyes pop out of your head through the mirror as he says it.

“You what?” You ask.

“I like you. You missed a spot.” He says, taking the wash cloth from you, wiping underneath your chin.

Spine is Jean's bestie without the Vicious 6's knowledge.

Dyabalochka has a fire power, Falcon-Eye is clumsy like Svengeance but she can understand animals.

Olon-Cold has freeze powers.

• Since Ari-Rage is the leader, would have been considered the most important member of the group. But Belle probably thinks the opposite. She just gets along better with the people who are similar to her, and that she enjoys. But she also kind of like the fact that she is related to music (even though she would never say that openly). And she isalso impressed by her age. With Jean, well, like you said already they aren't so well respectful towards eachother. Nunchuck may think (even if she is full of secrets, so who knows if that's true) that she must be better than the rest if she leads them. At least. Svengeance actually doesn't like the term "rivals" but needs to act mean towards the other squad. And Stronghold doesn't care. He just doesn't.

♧ With Spine Prince the situation is a little different. Belle actually is more interested in him, probably because of his multiple abilities. But she doesn't really understand why he cares much about family so much. Jean actually really cares about Spine. And hates the fact that he needs to hide that. (coff-also I ship this coff-). Nunchuck doesn't mind having him around as long as it's in fight related things. Even if she doesn't really like people lol. Svengeance likes being around Spine. He doesn't hate anyone that much like the others. Stronghold kind of agrees with Belle. I feel like they would bicker often tho.

☆ Dyabalochka is also a different story. Belle likes her the most. Probably because they are both girlbosses lol (or atleast I feel like it). Jean is probably terrified by fire (and doesn't want to hear about it). So he wouldn't even go near Dyabalochka. Nunchuck loves that power, despite many people would think. I would love to see Nunchuck smile around flames (but also that would be terrifying so no thanks). Svengeance doesn't really mind someone who manipulates fire, as long as it doesn't hurt him. Stronghold also enjoys that power and they would also get along well in my opinion.

● Falcon-Eye is not really liked by them. Belle doesn't like having someone that "doesn't know how to not goof around" (her words lol) and thinks is not a really cool power understanding animals. Jean thinks is annoying for her to be so much nice. It's boring sometimes. And is still not sure how to feel about someone that talks to animals and understands them. Nunchuck despises her. Probably because they are the complete opposite. Svengeance doesn't really enjoy being compared to her because they are both clumsy. And secretly wishes to have such a cool power as her's. Stronghold thinks that she is not so powerful and easy to beat.

◇ Olon-Cold is the last one (this is so long omg lol). Belle hates someone with that kind of power. She doesn't really like cold. Jean would probably understand him more since they are both introverts. But would not let him be too near his claw. He doesn't want to let someone break it or freeze it in this case. Nunchuck doesn't like him. Too quiet, too serious. She sees him kinda as her, and doesn't like it. Svengeance likes him the least, just like Nunchuck he thinks that he's boring. But his powers are also cool. Stronghold wants to fight more often with him. He likes more is powers than anyone else.

HCs abt an S/O of Lady D's who's struggling to get her daughters' approval? It's rarely addressed in fanfics, but y'all.. becoming a stepparent is a hard and frustrating journey, especially when mama and kids have such tight bonds. Makes small wins feel so rewarding, tho! What are your thoughts on that? How would D react, how would she help? (or make it harder, in true possessive Mother Hen™ fashion..) Which flybaby would warm up to S/O first? How would S/O try to win each of them over, etc..?

Oooh this is a really cool thought! Not that I have a lot of experience with stepparents but yeah, changes and adjustments in family dynamics like that can't be easy. I think I'm gonna have some fun with this.

When the Dimitrescu sisters found out you were the human dating their mother, at first they were mostly indifferent. Not like it's their business as to who Alcina gets it on with anyway (and they could also be thinking you would quickly turn to lunch if you fuck up badly enough, in which case they would gladly join her in the feast.)

They might quip with you sometimes, but for the most part, you're left alone.

But when they realized you were here to stay and might become a parental figure in their life... oh boy.

You're telling them they have to answer to you now? A mere mortal? On what grounds? Just because you have sex with their mom? They think the fuck not.

Hell, they're individually old enough to be your parent, so truly... what the fuck?

(Part of that fear of you joining the family may come from thinking that Alcina now has someone else to preoccupy herself with, so there's less time for them. Perhaps even less love for them. They can't have that. That can't happen.)

As for your partner's reaction? She's kind of torn. On one hand, she understands how her daughters feel about having a new family member suddenly join the dynamic -- someone they barely know relative to each other. You could have been around for a few years, but they've been all together for more than half a century, and they're doing just fine.

On the other, she wants to see you all getting along. She loves you and wants you to be a part of her life, and of course she also loves her daughters with all her heart.

She's not really sure what to do, so she kind of... ends up not doing anything.

But she is curious as to what you'll do about the situation though, since the sisters would hardly make it a secret that your presence is an annoyance at best, completely unwanted and unwelcome at worst.

Bela, surprisingly, might be the hardest to win over. You would think that, as the eldest, she should be the one to lead by example and be the mature one. Plus, she's always looking for her mother's approval, so approving of you may get her on her good side (and yours.)

But she's very opposed to change, especially one that affects her life this much when it's not her choice.

She lets Cassandra and Daniela get away with pulling harmless pranks on you to get under your skin, or make Alcina mad at you. She pretends to not have a direct hand in them and would passive-aggressively remark on whatever they did.

Oh, your clothes were misplaced and looking for new ones made you late to a date with the Lady? "None of them were very nice anyway. This is doing you a favor."

You found dog poop under your bed and now you reek? "I don't smell that much of a difference."

Getting doused in sticky honey and molasses somehow? "At least Mother has a reason to think you're sweet now."

They would never do anything to hurt you, not unless they want to incur their mother's wrath or sadness, just... little things (hopefully enough to get you to leave.)

But luckily, if you're a patient and persistent person, they (ever so) slowly warm up to you in different ways.

The most important thing to remember is that they're different people despite having a lot of things in common, so your manner of approaching them will have to vary for each sister.

Daniela might be the easiest to win over, such a sociable little fly. She might try to be standoffish at first, but if you bring up a book series that she enjoys reading as a topic for conversation, she can and will keep you there for hours talking about the characters, dissecting certain themes, and explaining her theories of the inner machinations of the plot.

If you actually start reading it upon her recommendation, she becomes ecstatic. Finally, someone other than her sisters she can explain these theories to! And someone who can actually relate and add on to them!

Eventually, she'll come to realize that having you around won't mean the end of their family. It just means they're getting more out of it -- a new member to love, and one who loves them.

Cassandra might be a little territorial about her current interests, so you'll have to take on a different approach.

Maybe try introducing her to something that peripherally matches what she likes now. She seems to really like hunting and torture to take her aggression out on, so uh... maybe try martial arts?

It would be more fun if it was something the both of you were new at, so you could bond over attempting to do things together. Nothing says "I want to get to know my stepdaughter better" like letting her throw you to the mat and laugh in excitement when she gets the technique right.

She is still very stubborn though, so she may take a while to fully convince. Even when it seems like you're on her good side, there's a tiny bit of denial. But she'll come around, no matter how reluctant.

Finally, as for Bela, she just needs to see that, though most of her family now genuinely likes you, that it doesn't have to change a thing about how they feel about her either. They're not going to abandon her or anything that drastic just because someone new has entered their lives.

Seeing her sisters approve of you can be jarring, no matter how long or gradual the process may have been. Like, weren't they switching out your shampoos and putting snakes in your closet last year? Why is everyone buddy buddy now? (Why are they leaving her behind?)

She'll start to act bitter toward everyone, feeling like she's been betrayed and shut herself away. She doesn't even want to see her own mother anymore.

But eventually, you have to talk to Alcina to do something too -- she could see you were making an effort, but she's not making it clear to her daughters what exactly was happening. She should be the first to approach Bela regarding the subject, along with her sisters.

You may need some time alone with her as well to drive the point home too. Having more people in the family doesn't mean less love, but in fact it means more, because now you're there to care for her too.

And she has to admit that seeing her mother care for you, having her sisters like you, it didn't really feel like they were any different towards her. They were more insistent in getting her to spend time with you, sure, but other than that... things were mostly the same.

The acceptance may be begrudging at first, but when she actually gets used to this new norm, she'll come around.

If you want to bond with her, you can teach her something. She likes learning new things, and she'll start to warm up to you more if she has reason to keep going to you to get this new information.

It can be anything -- music, arts, sports, cooking, you name it. Even introducing her to new technology will help get on her good side. You'd be surprised at how quickly she gets into it that you start to wonder why it was so hard to get her to like you in the first place.

Also, just talk to her. As a person, as your new daughter, whatever. Just acknowledge her and be honest. She appreciates the little things.

All in all, it's going to be tough. The journey will have its ups and downs, and not everything is going to be smooth sailing. Communication is key, though, as with any sort of relationship. Let the girls know you care for them just as much as you love and care for their mother. In a way, that's all they really want.

But they're not calling you "mom/dad/parental unit". First name basis with a stepparent (affectionate) all the way.

Like it just sounds very impressive to him, he thinks to have such a place that's been running for so long is just a nice thing? Openness about death is also smth he respects. And I'm sure he heard bits and piece about Hu Tao so he thinks she is cool too LOL Maybe makes a joke that like if he ends up dying in Liyue he will make sure to get a deal in wangsheng

After losing his entire family and also getting hurt like that..? I feel like it's understandable he became doubtful.. when someone promises you that gods are looking out for you and then THIS happens? Yeah idk i think Lutz definitely had a moment where he became a total non-believer/hater as he was going through the motions of dealing with his grief. Like he definitely blamed all the archons for it at least once. Over the years tho... i think he just.. calmed down? Like he isn't a total believer still, but he isn't against it. Seeing Skid Row in Concert 20/10/2022✨

This was my first ever rock concert and wow did it set the bar high! I saw them in Brighton with my sister, and the support bands were Collateral and Enuff Z’nuff. the venue was essentially a small nightclub, definitely not designed with bands like Skid Row in mind, but it just made it more intimate and a better vibe overall🥰 I can honestly say that this was one of the best nights on my life so far, and I'll try my best to recount the events. Even tho we got there about 90 mins before doors, we were still second in line and were let in after about 40 mins.

I was talking to a lady in the line as well who had seen the Stadium Tour, and basically every rock band you could think of.

like we would name drop and she would say “aw yes i’ve seen them they're great i’m friends with x members” I honestly love that for her she was so cool.

I was expecting to be waiting for a while so I didn't have my tickets ready and was panicking trying to find them lmao. I was right near the front of the line ofc so I was panicking and holding everyone up but it was fine in the end😂

after that fiasco that wast really a fiasco we went in and we were RIGHT FRONT AND FUCKIN CENTER YALL!

it wasn't long at all until Collateral, the first support act, came on and they were actually aMAZING??? 

They were all on the younger side so I love that they chose up and coming bands to support.

I also forgot how loud live music is let alone rock/metal music rip my ears and I could feel the bass in my fuckin bones

The lead singer of Collateral was the biGGEST HOE EVER I LOVE HIM SM

mans was pullin shapes and swishing his long af hair around I love that

at one point he got up onto the barrier and was singing right into this one woman’s soul, she was holding onto his hips and he was holding her face with one had uUHHH it was all very hoe-ish of him and I know that woman was absolutely living 

the guitarist also tried to crowd surf (I think?) but I think the security stopped him AKDJFKHJ so he was just kinda sitting on the barrier shredding on the guitar as you do ofc

anyways yeah Collateral were cool af and very early Skid Row esque you should check them out!

The next support act was Enuff Z’nuff and oh my god were they eccentric.

I've heard of the band before and i’ve listened to a few of their songs but I didn't know how cool they were live!

Chip, the lead singer and bassist, is just the epitome of seasoned glam rocker dude and he was so chaotic.

as in the band entered the stage to circus music (you know the one I mean) and I was like oH ok this is what we’re dealing with.

thy also played a glam metal version of Eleanor Rigby which was beautiful and unexpected.

one of the guitarists looked so much like Mike from the Young Ones as well, and the drummer was also v cute I think I might have a small crush on him-

but now its the time you've all been waiting for: SKID MF ROW ARE IN THE HOUSEEE

the last song the venue played before Skid Row went on was Crazy Train and everyone was losing their shit it was awesome 

just as they were coming onto the stage Scotti gave me The Eyes™ and I almost evaporated there and then. boi was also wearing sO much eyeliner it was beautiful.

btw incase you didn't know the new singer for Skid Row is a very dapper younger lad by the name of Erik Grönwall, lets just say he will be a very important character throughout the rest of this report.

before they went into the first song and the guitars were just kinda reverbing, Erik just stood right in fucking front of me and sTARED AT EVERONE WITH THE BIGGEST GRIN ON HIS FACE LFJKLDHFKD IT WAS LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT YALL

they opened with Slave to the Grind and

wow

just wow

they sound iNCREDIBLE live and Erik has the most AMAZING VOICE OH MY FUCKIN JESUS 

(no we’re not going to compare them but just to put things into perspective, yes it was just like 80-90s Sebastian Bach)

Erik was also just aggressively head banging at every given opportunity  my neck hurt just watching him but you could tell the man was just having the time of his life up there

he is also just sO. FUCKING. CHARMING

YOU CANT NOT FALL IN LOVE WITH THAT MAN I JUST- UUUGHHH

It was also in this first song where the initial realisation sunk in that this is THE Skid Row

as in this is the same Scotti, Snake and Rachel that I watch in all those live performances and interviews and just random videos from the 80s and 90s, and who are probably besties with some of my other favourite musicians and-

Rachel also had a sparkly bass which was so beautiful I want 34 of my own

also no-one told he that Scotti Hill was slightly unhinged djkjfkgh

he would just sTARE at you with The Eyes™ while playing and it was very intimidating so I just stared back when he would do it to me

I guess not many people can say they've had a staring contest with Scotti Hill but here we are😪

They played In A Darkened Room and Psychotherapy which I did NOT expect but I very much appreciate as they are two of my faves

also during IADR Erik Took someones phone and recorded the crowd and the band, I wonder how it feels to have a video as iconic as that one on your phone?

The stage was also small af too so Erik would just stand right at the edge (towering tf over me I might add skskjhkfg) and would knock off all the wires there LMAO

the security had to keep picking them up idk I just thought that that was so funny

another cool thing about Erik that Rachel mentioned is that before Covid happened, Erik was a support act for Skid Row while they were touring, and now hE’S THE LEAD SINGER OF THE BAND HE WAS SUPPORTING THREE YEARS AGO???? AWWWW??? 

honestly the rest of the night was kind of a blur (in a good way!)

that was until they played I Remember You

it was all going fine and dandy when I randomly decided to reach out my hand

and the beautiful bastard that is Erik Grönwall

REACHED OUT AND HELD MY MF HAND WHILE SINGING RIGHT AT ME

our fingers were interlinked for only a few seconds (I actually dont remember how long it was my brain was freaking out) but within those few seconds I officially sold my soul to Erik

my main character moment 

a true core memory for sure

I did see a video someone took of the whole song but you couldn't see me and Erik h*lding h*nds in it lkdgfkldgh😭

he also took someones phone again and recorded everyone which was cool bc everyone had their phones lit up🥰

They closed with Youth Gone Wild which was just perfect because me and my sister were, for this entire concert, the mf youth gone wild🥰

earlier Rachel even said that x song was “from our first album, which was released before some of you guys were even born by the looks of things” and stared straight at me with That Smile Of His 

Scotti and Snake were also just jamming together and living their best lives while playing Youth Gone Wild it was beautiful🥰

also when Erik sang “a boss screaming in my ear...” he gestured at Rachel LMAOO

while they were playing the outro I got to high-five Erik once again and I also got to fist bump Rachel, Scotti and Rob 

and that was that!

I got a poster and also got to meet Chip there too! he was so cool!

just as we were leaving we also met Snake outside skjhgfsghjkf

he was honestly sO SWEET OH MY GOD

I was very very VERY awkward as i’ve never met anyone famous before and was definitely nOT expecting to meet him and I was also in a rush

we talked for a little bit and took a photo together

I got to hug him twice and that was honestly the cherry on top of a perfect night

i am emotionally attached to him and want to give him a big hug

the fucking way his character develops from licky man to best dad material is my favorite thing

his outfit is so so so good i would die to wear it

in general this man is one of my fave jojos characters and i get a lot of comfort from him

hes just really neat and has a good taste in music

he did his fucking best and i will always love him for that

imo the way that his death was drawn out was genuinely one of the most heartbreaking deaths in the entire series and fucks me up each time i think of it

i feel like he really is the one to hold the team together in a way that everyone feels cared for and saved

def has a savior complex tho for sure

also manga superiority bc he either makes the stupidest faces or looks very nice (anime has a lot of weird animation in regards to his face) and also because its lingerie there instead of a tattoo that changes thickness and placement every second

fugo is one of those that imo deserves a lot and didnt get that

genuinely the vibes between how he treats narancia is v interesting to me, like its clear he cares about nara but nara not doing great w math really frustrates him

the jokes towards trish are really really uncomfy and how fugo doesnt wanna be involved but he is pushing him to do something that makes him uncomfortable did not make me like him a lot

hes goofy but not goofy enough for me to be ok with the repeated jokes about that esp in the body swap episode (ik it was supposed to be funny but it just felt off)

his vibes r good but i wish we got to see his hair

the fandom interpretation is normally pretty good of him overall?

despite not loving him a lot, i really enjoying writing for him (one day might open up headcanon requests or smth but unsure)

hes someone id wanna watch movies w but his taste in movies and mine r very different

love how he and his stand get along

honestly has very very good comedic potential
