As a nursing major, I’m a little offended that it’s 2nd place

But as someone who is surrounded by nursing majors… I understand LOL

edit: i’m looking at the comments and posts here and realizing that people are looking at this post in two different ways: some are voting based on which major they think has meanest/“most evil” people (which I read it as), and some are voting based off of which major is the hardest/“most evil” level of difficulty 😂

#but also you have to remember that nursing school is so damn competitive #and it’s the only major where everyone in the major is going out for the same program in the school #like people who are pre-med or pre-law or whatever graduate and then apply to whatever grad program they want #but nurses have two years of regular college and then we all compete for a limited amount of spots like sharks #we’re constantly pitted against each other #meanwhile taking hard-ass classes #AND expected to work and have healthcare experience on the side #and have a perfect GPA #and volunteer #like im an EMT and i volunteer at animal shelters on the weekends and work free clinics for homeless people #i have a 3.9 GPA #i’m in 2 clubs #and it’s not even an accomplishment here #we’re going into a field where we give and give and give and yet we get shit on by everyone #just look at some of the comments on this post #if we don’t toughen up #we don’t make it #it’s fine because this is my calling and i refuse to do anything else #i signed up for all of it #but that doesn’t mean it’s easy #we’re exhausted and we’re not even nurses yet LOL #anyway thank you for coming to my therapy session #heathcare #nursing
