constantly revamping my ocs and their lore so you may see a lot of faces come and go over time.

i love rpgs, some of my favorites are fallout: new vegas, baldur's gate 3, final fantasy xiv, persona 3, 4 and 5, elden ring, tears of the kingdom, and i have many, many more i need to play through (oneshot, in stars and time, the witcher 3, etc.)

besides video games, I'm also a big fan of ttrpgs. i have years of experience with d&d 5e as a player, and I'm currently trying my hand at dming while also playing in my first pathfinder 2e game.

i have a ravenous urge to worldbuild and have multiple worlds on the backburner.

i want to learn pixel art.

#keese draws #new game+#grips sink and tries not to cry #isat #ok anyways I just drew this because I wanted to try out an isat profile html someone on toyhouse made #plus I’ve been rotating early on less completely fucked up chou in my mind recently #anyways did you know that comicfrin (at least in one panel) doesn’t wear gloves? fun stuff #oh wait speaking of forgot to tag them #comic siffrin #anyways important note! them looking less disheveled than siffrin is on purpose #chou started off their loops Far more mentally stable than siffrin and actually managed pretty well their first run through #it still was rough and they still were a bit of a sad wet trembling puppy abt it but they were generally doing just fine #they didn’t even go on a self loathing monologue after their first death! who is this guy!#dw the self loathing is still there it just takes a bit longer to hit in full force since again they started off more stable #anyways I probably should have cross referenced some move animations for this but I think I got the point across that they’re a support #unit even if the turn passing gimmic is not rly evident (idk if I could make it evident tbf)#shout out to how in their default kit they have 6 turn passing skills and only one attacking skill #also said attack as a cooldown of. five turns. tbf that’s because it has a pretty strong secondary effect #they also have three other support moves where they boost different damage types for a round #so yeah they’re basically pure support which they sorta had to be at first because bestie started off at level like. 5.#they ofc switch up their kit pretty damn fast after the first run #but first time around when they were leveling at abt the same rate as everyone else they were content to play support

#uh just a heads up if you expand the tags to see all there's. a lot. very long #amphibian #frog #poison dart frog #based on my most popular frog to date (day 651)#inspired by everyone pointing out what they think it looks like #here's a fun secret fact the original guy is actually a phantasmal poison dart frog (Epipedobates tricolor)#(according to the original artists title of the drawing)#not Anthony's poison arrow frog (Epipedobates anthonyi)#i feel too awkward to really point it out though because they look the exact same. i cannot tell if there is a difference #im half convinced the same frog was just discovered and named twice #its very curious btw if you go on the (english) wikipedia page for either species it doesn't mention the other #while hereptiles.info (no idea if this is a trustworthy site) lists both names as common names for the same frog (incorrectly??)#while inaturalist lists them as two different frogs. curiously with tricolor having wayyyyy fewer photos #ok anyway that's my rant i went on a whole journey trying to figure out if these are the same frog or not and i have no answer #i did some more 'research' and i am more confused. some sources seem to imply they are now considered the same species ( e. tricolor)#i think my conclusion is i am willing to agree the drawing looks more like e. anthonyi. it seems like tricolor is generally less vibrant re #and the white is darker and more green?#i feel like thumblr should stop me from typing more in the tags at this point this is a whole essay #at this point i am failry convinced this is specifically the Santa Isabel frog. isthat the real subspecies or morph or whatever #or just the name pet sites are using to sell it??#i even found some sources (frog selling websites) refering to it as “Epipedobates Anthonyi 'Santa Isabel' Phantasmal Poison Dart Frog” lol #Anyways if you read this far hi. species are confusing. i am not a frog scientist #the first few tags are like an hour old now i just kept trying to figure it out and adding more tags

What are your thoughts on Hirsch?

i do genuinely respect him a lot (the fact that a bunch of the show was improvised is both horrifying and kinda amazing, standout examples being ford himself being written on the fly and also the last mabelcorn being written in a day) and love that he's insistent on the importance of found family and platonic affection, and that he's furious when people devalue family relationships if they're not directly blood related

but also a bunch of his ford takes are pretty iffy (even if he's gotten somewhat better about him recently) and he's pretty "two steps forwards, a bunch of shuffles back" about treating the abusive relationships he writes cos it was like "oh he's talking about it normally for the panels--" and then that charity stream was basically a cannonball to any goodwill he built up

also god damn he's bad with writing romance and picking side ships in general (tad/woodpecker guy is the most 'picked random names outta a hat' shit), especially when he's fully aware that it gets fans sidetracked from the main points he's trying to make with the series

his current take of bullying and shaming ai shills however? excellent! love to see this when people are going "uwu if we ignore them stealing and being shitheads maybe they'll go away there's nothing we can do anyway" defeatist bullshit-- do it hirsch!!! send your legions of obsessed fans after those morons!!! him openly bitching about how disney execs are a bunch of spineless cowards is great too
