As much as I loved the first episode, I really wish they'd given at least a simple, basic reason why the Mirror Captain Freeman was at Starbase 80... i guess it just felt like an unfinished plot line that I don't think they'll touch on later in the season

TALKING OF HORROR THO. the hlvrv universes could so easily be a horror with some slight tone changes.

Y2KVR has some creepypasta computer shit and also Gordon Bs body was left outside the computer, hollow and alone. inside the computer his memories and mind slowly decay and he gets infected with a virus that makes everything so,,,, saccharine no matter the tone of the worsening situation

Roleswap has a glitched entity that shouldnt exist gain sentience, come back from being killed and crawl out of the computer to enact revenge on the one to play his game and kill him (though i think everything that Freenell touches inevitably dissolves into a slice of life romcom lmao <3 Neo and his beaft of un-nature. Swap and his autism creature.)

Mad Science has a young scientist fall into a mysterious substance and mutate irreversibly. Doc finds family like him, but theyre wiped out in an incident where xhes the sole survivor, and in xir desperation to get his family back she makes a deal with a malevolent entity who will manipulate and backstab her for his own gain.

Worldstop IS a horror for Player and Malcom. its about control and identity and possession and loss of self, and being put in the body you unknowingly wronged as punishment / having your sense of control and personhood stripped away from you to the point that people are meeting the thing puppeting you before they even know you exist, and to you, hes from a whole new layer of reality above yours that can bend the world to his whim. you can never escape a bored god.

The Administrative Timeline is also a horror for everyone involved. Freeman gets his personality, memories, history, all stripped away all because one man didnt care. all of the admins lives were completely derailed because of C's father. Freeman can never truly return to who he once was and Admin C shoulders the guilt, even if its not his fault at all.

Fitz stared up at the ceiling with his teal eyes, bored out of his telepathic mind. He had no one to talk to at the moment, and it left him alone with nothing to do. His friends were... Out. Somewhere. Probably on dates. Biana and Tam, they're a thing. Dex and Linh too. And of course... Sophie and Keefe.

The thought alone made the golden boy groan in frustration and annoyance. He was left alone by all of his friends, since he didn't have a lover among the friend group. After a little while, he sat up and pondered what to do while no one was around the house. Alden had went out and had Della. It was "confidential" matters apparently. Of course. Working at the council meant you'd be holding a bunch of secrets and stuff.

Eventually, Fitz stood up, atalked to his closet, pulled out a teal tunic with golden embroidery, and changed into it. He decided that he could go to Atlantis to pass the time. Maybe buy somw trinkets or buy a new tunic. Maybe grab something to eat along the way. Grabbing his imparter (just in case), he walked out his room and to the leapmaster.

His legs bought him to a sparkling room where crystals dangled from the ceiling. Low and high. Sharp and smooth. Each crystal cut into specific shapes and colorfully colored to represent each place it could go. Fitz didn't have to go far to find the Atlantis crystal. It was a deep Cobalt blue to represent its underwater status and cut into a shape that almost looked like a dagger blade with 3 ends.

After taking a deep breath, he pulled on the crystal and a warm light immediately enveloped him in what could only be described as a warm hug on a winter day. Almost as quick as it appeared, it was gone, leaving him on the ledge where a bottle lay. He picked it up, opened it, and was immediately dragged down. Of course, as expected, he landed on a sponge like... Thing and found himself in the bustling city of Atlantis.

Fitz stood up and dusted himself off before sliding off and securing his feet to the cobblestone. The city was as big and bright as it usually was. It was basically Manhattan in the Elvin world! He walked around, tried keeping a low profile, and ended up in a restaurant. Luckily, not a lot of people were in, so he was able to get a seat pretty quickly.

He ordered some Brattails and Butterblasts and then waited. While waiting, he suddenly hears a familiar voice from the table next to him. Biana. What was she doing here. Fitz turned around and there she was. His younger sister. As pretty as an elf can get. With her chocolate brown hair tried into a braid and adorned with a golden hair piece. She wore an off sleeve cream dress with ruffles, frills, amd ribbons. She was, seemingly, on a date with Tam (Who was sitting across her, eating a slice of pocaroot pie).

Fitz was about to call her over until he heard what they were talking about. Biana was going on about a sleepover as Everglen and Tam added small comments about it from time to time.

"It'll be so fun! We'll have everyone over!" She exclaimed excitedly, her teal eyes lighting up. Tam, ever the stoic, simply nodded along and took anothet bite of his pie. "Sophie, Keefe, Linh, Dex, everyone!"

"And, of course, Fitz. He's your brother afterall" Tam added nonchalantly.

Biana paused and her teal eyes that held excitement faltered. She then rolled her eyes and pushed some of her mallowmelt before mutter a begrudging "Yea"
