What if a security guard wouldn’t let you back in the arena if you went out to get something. And they didn’t believe that you were harrys gf and just thought you were a crazy fan

oooh it’s been done before but here’s my version!! ;

You were running late.

It was already 7pm and you were only getting out of your car in the car park. Harry was due to be on stage in an hour and you hadn’t even seen him yet. The traffic around Dallas today has been awful. Chocker block. You’d been with Harry all day, up until 3 hours ago when he had to leave the hotel to come to the stadium for rehearsals. Normally you’d go with him, but you were so tired that you wanted a little nap before coming. The problem here was you overslept.

There were no Ubers available and a taxi would be far too expensive at this time, so you drive in Harrys car instead. You’d been following Harry on tour in his car, so when you get to different destinations you can go out on ball day trips if you want to without the obscenity of a huge tour bus or paying for Ubers everywhere. It was the main reason you were so tired though, travelling across country and into different time zones. It would be so much easier if this was the UK.

You grabbed your purse and your jacket, locking the car as you got out and started running for the backstage entrance. It was easy to make it there and you noticed security guards already standing there.

“Hi!” You smiled, slightly short of breathe. You were about to move past them when one of them shoved your shoulder back, making you stumble back unbalanced. “Wha—”

“ID and backstage pass to get through here.” One of them said, looking you up and down as if you were nothing.

If anything, you were quite shocked on how they just treated and continued to treat you. Normally, Harry would show a picture of you to these backstage security guards to make sure you’d be able to get in no problem, but it seemed like today Harry might’ve forgotten to show that photo. This was going to be a problem for you, because you’d forgotten to bring your backstage pass.

“I normally just go through? I’m Harry’s girlfriend.” You tried talking your way around the situation, not appreciating behind held up so close to show-time.

“Oh you’re Harry’s girlfriend? You must be the 7th one we’ve met tonight.” The security guy laughed and so did his friend, making your blood boil with how annoying they were being. Harry would be so pissed if he heard the way they were treating you.

“No but I actually am.”

“Then, ID and backstage passes.” One of then held out his hand whilst the other crossed his arms over his chest to make him look intimidating. Dickheads.

“I have ID just not the backstage passes.” You answered honestly, holding out your ID for them to check. They collected it and asked you questions on it, you answering them all perfectly.

“Well you definitely know you, but you have no proof you’re supposed to be where you claim to be.” They handed you back your ID and you huffed in stress.

“Well what can I show you? Photos of me and Harry together? Text messages?” You waved your arms around, getting really pissed off that this was actually happening. You’d probably miss Jenny’s whole set because of this and then 15 minutes before show-time Harry gets transported under the stage. So you only really would have half and hour with him, and that’s just not enough time. You wanted a safe and warm hug off him. You wanted a kiss. You just wanted him.

“Everyone knows they can be photoshopped.” One of the guys scoffs at your notion.

“Listen. You either show us your backstage pass or we’ll escort you off site.” The other one says a lot more firmer this time. It made you quite anxious for what you’d do if they did that - or maybe when they did that.

“Well I don’t have the backstage passes.” You sighed, rolling your eyes at the way this was going to end.

“Then let’s go.” One of them pointed to where you came from and to the car park, stepping forwards as he did so.

“I’m not leaving until you let me through those doors. My boyfriend is waiting for me.” You answered, taking a step back in stress of what they might do.

“Harry ain’t your boyfriend. Now let’s go!” They stepped forwards again and reached for you.

You swung your bag at one of them, hitting him in his side and he grunted because of the impact of your water bottle with his chest. The other one grabbed your arm and you couldn’t shake him, since you were not trained in any way for situations like this at all. His fingers dig into your skin and it made you scream out a cry, trying to kick him in any way to escape. The other one recovered ever ordered the guy holding you to escort you away whilst he stayed and guarded the door. The one holding you tugged your arms behind your body and held them tight there, it really fucking hurting. He didn’t care though and continued to walk you, asking you where your car was so he could get you out of here.

Once you reached your car he let you go and you wrapped your arms around you as he walked away again, not verbally saying anything but his eyes saying enough. Stay away. You shakily got your keys out of your bags and unlocked your door, climbing in and just sitting there. You could feel your hands really shaky and achy. Looking down with tear clouded eyes, you saw the red marks over your arms and slight bruising already. Your arms and shoulders hurt from being bent in an uncomfortable position.

You cared less about the pain though and how much of a disappointment of a girlfriend you were going to be to Harry. He was going to think either the worst for you or the worst of you. You reached in your bag on your lap for your phone, throwing your bag on the seat next to you afterwards. You wiped your eyes with the sleeve of your t-shirt and unlocked your phone to text messages, sending Harry a quick text.

To Harry: Are you free to call? x

No response. You sat there for a few minutes in silence, still shook up and teary. That had been a really awful situation to be in and you hated that you were nowhere near Harry to fix it. Your phone vibrated 3 minutes later, finding a text message from Harry. You sighed and felt safe when you saw his icon light up your notifications, knowing he was in contact with you.

From Harry: Of course, you okay? xx

You didn’t open your phone because you didn’t know how to respond. How do you tell him you’re not okay, only 20 minutes before he’s meant to be ready to go on stage? You didn’t want to worry him, but you also didn’t want him thinking you were a terrible girlfriend either.

Another vibration.

From Harry: Lovie? xx

Your eyes watered at that simple word, meaning so much more to you than five letters. It made you feel so much comfort, you only wished you could get that hug and a kiss now.

Again.

From Harry: Love, you’re worrying me now.

From Harry: Let me face-time you, hang on.

His icon lit up the screen; Incoming…

You shakily accepted, wiping your eyes quickly before. When he answered you could tell he was still in his dressing room, sat on the sofa that you wish you were also sat on with him. He looked so beautiful. His hair was perfectly styled and he was wearing a pearl coloured silk shirt and you knew he was wearing white silk pants to co-ordinate. You thought he looked ethereal. A glowing beacon of hope and beauty.

He didn’t say anything to you at first and you nothing to him. He just looked at you and instantly knew something bad was up. He kept eye contact with you and it was as if he was having a telepathic conversation with you, understanding that you needed him and just him.

“Hey, Mitch man?” Harry asked, turning his head to somewhere else in the room. “Could y’just give me a minute. Please.”

“Sure, sure.” Mitch answered and all you could hear was the sound of shuffling and the door shut. As soon as he was gone you started crying all over again. You cupped your hand over your eyes and your body shook as you just cried. Harrys heart broke that you were alone and he couldn’t hug you close to his chest.

“Y/N, baby. Look at me.” He asked urgently and you just shook your head, embarrassed that this was happening to you. “You’ll be alright lovie, I promise. Just look at me, beautiful.” You moved your hand away from your face and wiped your eyes and nose to try and make you look slightly better - not that it helped. “There’s my pretty girl.”

You smiled. He smiled.

“I-i’m so-rry H.” You whispered, sniffling in between words because of how shaky you felt.

“Hey, no. None of that. It’ll be okay.” He reassured you, keeping eye contact with you to try and decipher what was wrong. “Where are you, lovie? You’re in the car, yeah?” Harry asked, recognising your surroundings but you could get anywhere. You could have been in an accident for all he knew, but he was remaining calm so he didn’t send you into a panic.

“Yeah. In the stadium car park.” You saw Harrys eyes momentarily light up at that, before he remembered that you weren’t okay.

“Okay. Tell me why you’re upset, love. Help me understand.” He sounded urgent, just wanting to know so he could help you out. He wanted you to be okay. He wanted you with him.

“The security guards wouldn’t let me in, backstage I mean. I didn’t have my backstage pass. But..” You choked on a sob and Harry told you to just breathe. You were okay. “One of them g-grabbed me and escorted m-me of sight.”

“Baby, are you hurt? Is that why you’re upset?” Harry asked, standing up now in panic. His face looked angry, but you could tell he was trying his best to be a comfort for you. “Y/N?”

“Y-yes. Yes Harry, yes.” You voice wobbled out and you let out an exasperated sob. “I’m s-sor—”

“No don’t you dare. Don’t apologise for this. Not ever. You understand me?” He made very clear he wasn’t messing around.

“Yes.” You nodded.

“Alright. Now, you gotta be strong for me okay?” He asked, before asking, still checking that you were okay. He knew you would be though, because you were his bravest girl ever - stronger than you knew.

“Okay.”

“You’re going to make your way back to the backstage entrance, alright? I am going to be there, before you get there. Those security guards won’t be there I promise. You’ll be okay. Can you do that for me?” He asked, moving around the room and then out of the door. He was walking down the corridors, ignoring the people shouting his name. He was only focused on you.

“Yes. Okay.” You nodded, wiping under your nose again.

“I love you.” He kissed the camera of his phone, looking like he was kissing you instead.

You returned the gesture, kissing him virtually back. “I love you.”

He told you that it’d be alright and then ended the call, explaining how you didn’t need to hear him get angry when he found these security guards. They would be fired even if they weren’t on his tour crew, he’d make sure of it. You made your way back to the backstage entrance again, slowing down before you rounded the corner. Taking a deep breathe you walked around and were met with exactly what Harry promised; him.

You smiled and broke out into a run to get to him, your bag weighing on your shoulder. Once you reached him your bag was thrown on the floor in front of him and you jumped into his arms. He lifted you up to sit you around his waist, keeping his arms tight around your waist and squeezing the biggest hug out of you. Your arms tightened around your boyfriends neck and you buried your face into his neck, and god he smelt like everything homely and sweet. He felt just like home.

“See, you’re alright now lovie.” He assured you, kissing your cheek that wasn’t quite buried into his neck.

“Th-ank you.” You muttered, kissing his neck in appreciation which made him hum in delight. He tasted so hot and lush. He was insatiable. You then felt him start kissing your arms, where the harsh red and purple marks were.

“Sorry y’had to go through this.” He kept kissing your arms, until you moved your head up and looked at him with furrowed eyebrows.

“If I can’t say sorry, then neither can you.” You shook your head, kissing his nose softly. You watched his eyes flutter close and felt so special that only you could do that to him.

“You’re so amazing Y/N. Truly.”

“You’re pretty special too, my love.”

He didn’t need to hear anything else from you, those words were enough, so he pressed his lips to yours softly, filling you with the love you’d been waiting to feel all day. You smiled into the kiss and he just felt so amazing. He was so soft and gentle with you - as smooth as the silk that dressed his body. He was so pretty to watch melt away under your spell and delicious tasting. Strawberries, was that?

He was everywhere. He was everything. He always would be.

Summary:

After a fateful day in an Egyptian tomb, things have never been the same for Jungkook, or you, after a certain vengeful god decided to make him its fist.

Genre: Angst, Actiony, Romance, F2L UWU

Pairing: Moon Knight!Jungkook X Reader (Y/N)

Warnings: Swearing, Violence, Blood, Death of Major and Minor Characters. Body Horror. Talk of what its like to die. SMUT. Gore.

Word Count: 1364

Note:Jungkook will not be having DID in this fic. Khonshu has had many avatars over the millenia and I’m pretty sure Marc is the only one that has DID. Although there will be some slight overlap between Marc and Jungkook such as mercenary work.

I apologise for my shitty photoshop, my partner who does freelance design tried to help. Needless to say photoshoping is hard. In fact other than Jungkook, my partner did this whole little banner.

You twirled a khopesh in your hand as you went down hall after hall. It was like the tomb was never ending until eventually, there was an opening. A grand chamber covered in Macedonian text. But you didn't have time to connect the dots between Macedonian in an Egyptian tomb, that revelation would have to wait as there by an open sarcophagus with his hand reaching in was Harrow.

"Get your hand out of the dead's mouth you disrespectful bastard."

Harrow smirked at you, hand still reaching into the mummy, “Ah, I see Hathor has decided to abandon her previous avatar. She’s finally decided to step in then… But she’s a little too late for that.”

With that he raised his hand, an ushabti of Ammit tight in his grip. Time seemed to move slower, preparing to launch yourself at the man, his arm arching to shatter the idol on the ground. But Harrow’s followers opened fire on you both before you could even take a step. The bullets tore into you, making you jolt with each that hit you, and as quickly as they shattered bone and ruptured your organs, they were being pushed out of you, your body repairing itself at a rapid fire rate. The sound of them meeting their mark then clinking on the stones beneath you echoed throughout the chamber. Along with stone breaking. A purple mist seeped out of the broken statue, swirling up into the air. The followers ceased their fire to stare at Ammit as she materialised.

A snarl came from behind you, “You’ve failed, little human. Disappointing.”

The crocodilian goddess looked to you and the gods behind you, “Khonshu, I see time hasn’t been kind to you. And Sekhmet, still struggling with just who you are?”

Sekhmet growled, her anger boiling in your veins.

“We won’t let you stay free, Ammit, we cannot allow it. Priest, you and the starling deal with the mortals, we’ll subdue her.” Khonshu commanded.

For the first time you saw the god as he and Sekhmet charged at Ammit. He was a giant, yet decaying. His hawk head was already a bare skull, connected to his bandaged body with cobwebs. He had a staff with a crescent moon at its top which he used to try and slash at Ammit.

You turned your attention away from them as Jungkook was suddenly shielding you from yet more gun fire with his body and cape. You knew that behind his mask he was most likely grimacing at the pain. You were racking your brain for a way to stop them when a hunting spear appeared in your hand. Following your instincts, you ducked out from the cape just enough to lock on target and launched your spear. It skewered one of the followers right through the chest and lodged into the floor. You watched as those around them stopped in shock, their peer choking on their own blood as they haemorrhaged onto the ground and into their chest cavity, both bleeding out and drowning. You could feel Sekhmet’s pleasure at the bloodshed. It overwhelmed your disgust at having taken a life, even if these people were actively trying to kill you.

Jungkook broke away from you with a quiet instruction, “I’ll take Harrow, you take his goons.”

You nodded, using the momentary stillness to race towards one of them, khopesh at the ready. They might be armoured, but that’s exactly what khopesh were designed to deal with. With strength that surprised even you, you hacked right through their kevlar and broke through their ribs in one bloody display, dyeing you blade crimson. You stared at it for a second, Sekhmet practically purring in your head already, before gunfire and bullets hitting your back drew you away with a growl. You couldn’t tell if that was you or your goddess but that didn’t matter as you practically pounced on your assailant, breaking their skull open with a single blow of your khopesh, brain matter splattering onto you.

You were sent flying as something hard collided with you from behind. Jungkook groaned on top of you as he took a moment to gather himself. He rolled off you with an apology and you turned to see what the commotion was. Harrow was rushing towards you with an… axe? You brought up your blades to block his attempt to strike Jungkook. Something primitive inside of you was deeply satisfied with being able to protect your lover. Harrow put more weight behind his weapon, hoping to make you buckle but Jungkook was quick to his feet, landing a solid punch to Harrow’s ear, throwing him off balance.

“Don’t kill him yet, we need him alive to seal Ammit!” Khonshu ordered.

So this was a game of endurance. And with it being two against one, the odds were in your favour. You flipped off the floor to your feet, and slashed at Harrow’s waist, making him dodge you but right into Jungkook’s spin kick, causing him to stumble back into a portal that opened up behind him. The two of you followed him through, the portal closing behind you, trying to not let him catch his breath. Harrow pointed his axe at you.

“Look out!” Jungkook yelled as a blast of purple energy came flying at you.

Again you brought your khopesh up to block. The energy met them and deflected right back to Harrow, sending him flying back. That must have been what sent Jungkook flying into you earlier.

“Nice. Right, I go high, you go low.”

“Sounds good to me.” Your voice was twisted to your ears. Yes it was you but there was something about it that was just… off.

You lept in pursuit of your prey, which was rising to his feet. Jungkook wasn’t far behind you, literally flying over you to swipe at Harrow with a crescent blade. He dodged and you followed with the back of your blade, knocking him into Jungkook’s next blow, cutting him across the cheek. The wound was slow to heal compared to you and Jungkook’s abilities. Perhaps it was because his god was a devourer, not a healer.

You swung a khopesh again but this time it was met with Harrow’s axe. However, this gave Jungkook yet another opening, landing an uppercut to Harrow’s jaw. Harrow landed on the floor dazed.

“We’ve got Ammit pinned. Now quickly, repeat after me.” Khonshu started chanting something which you followed, Jungkook picking it up soon after.

A white electricity connected you to Jungkook and the statues you didn’t notice were surrounding you in front of thrones, their eyes lighting up. Harrow groaned as in the distance Ammit screamed, purple mist seeping into him. It was not a quick process, Harrow was withering on the floor below you. As soon as the energy fizzled away you knew it was over.

“Do it, kill him now!” Sekhmet ordered.

Your body moved almost on its own as you felt part of yourself slip away. With a khopesh still in hand you crouched over the now defenceless man and began hacking him apart. You could feel Jungkook’s horrified gaze on you and it wasn’t long until he was trying to pull you off the mangled corpse.

“It’s over, he’s dead! You can stop now!” he called to your reason.

You shrugged him off, Sekhmet was not satisfied. He tried again and this time was successful in restraining you despite your struggles.

“Y/N, listen. Listen to me. I need you to snap out of it. I need you -” He paused but kept his grip, refusing to let you go as Khonshu spoke to him. He chuckled as his mask dematerialised and he turned you to face him. And then his lips were meeting yours in a rushed kiss and something in your brain clicked. This time Hathor was purring in the back of your head.

You pulled away out of breath, “Of course Hathor, a goddess of sexuality, would take over with a kiss.”

“I’m just glad it worked. Like seeing you fight is hot but seeing that… that wasn’t you.”

You nodded and rested your head against his chest, the restraint turning into a comforting embrace.

anon i am..... so sorry that i’m answering this two whole months after u sent it.... better late than never righ..t.....?,,,,,

so, here i’ll be explaining how i made this gif!

it’s a bit long so everything is under the cut (i recommend u see this on desktop):

first of all u gotta have like general knowledge of how photoshop stuff works, like making a gif for example or sharpening (i wont be explaining how to do those here, if u need to know how im sure u can find tutorials on itsphotoshop or yeahps or one of those ps resources pages)

first i open the walls cover art and then i redimension it to the size i want and i sharpen it so that it looks clearer (if while sharpening it you end with several layers make sure to select them all and merge them so you only have one layer in the cover art)

then i make a gif out of the smiley that appears at the beginning of this video, cropping it to how i want it to look over the cover art and making sure it has the same dimensions as the cover art

once i have the gif ready i press ctrl+alt+A and all the layers on the right should be selected, then i ctrl+G and all those layers should now be inside a group

now because the smiley is black i'll adjust it to make it white. I go to selective colors and make these adjustments:

then i click on invert, and the gif should look like this now

now while pressing ctrl click on both the selective color and invert layers, then right click on them and select "create clipping mask". That makes sure that these adjustments apply to the smiley only and they dont mess with the cover art that we'll later put in the gif. the layers thing should be looking like this:

make sure that you have the invert layer selected. then where you have the both the gif and cover art tabs at the top you need to drag the one where you have the cover art to the central part so you can see both pics at the same time like this:

then drag the cover art layer over the smiley gif

make sure both the cover art and the gif align perfectly. once it's in position duplicate the cover art layer and delete the original layer. then drag the copy to the very bottom of the layers. it should look like this:

then in the timeline at the bottom make sure that the first frame is selected

then select the group 1 layer and then click on the tab that says "pass through" just above the layers, once the options are displayed select "lighten"

you'll see now that the smiley's bg is see through and u can see the cover art under it :D

now to make it look like its going behind louis what i do is duplicate the cover art layer and put that copy all the way at the top of the layers and then erase around louis so we can see the smiley under it

here i hid all the other layers so u can see the parts i erased

and there it is! after that u can play around w the adjustments to change colors like u want n stuff

hi hello everyone! it’s been a while, but i’m finally back with a h i g h l y requested tutorial from anons and my mutuals! so before we dive right in, here are a few new rules if you choose to follow this tutorial: if you find this helpful, please give this post a like and/or reblog, i’ll appreciate it a lot! if you use this tutorial for any future edits, please give some form of credit. i’ll accept an @ or a redirect/insp link to this tutorial or a specific edit i made.

how to create this↴

note: this is how i learned how to do this and it’s the easiest way for me. feel free to add/change my steps as you use this tutorial.

to start off, you want to gather images. for me, this is the hardest and most crucial step because i’m super picky when i want to make my edits look as realistic as possible. on this particular edit, i searched on google for canon star wars character posters, pngs, and screencaps until i found one i liked for the outfit i picture my oc to wear. same goes for my image of rosa salazar, the bd droid, and the lightsaber ( originally blue ).

here are all the images i used for this edit!

now that you have all of your images, open photoshop. i use cc, but if you have any program that allows you to erase, paint, free transform, and add multiple layers, then you can recreate this!

once ps is open, create a blank, black canvas. my crop size is 268x171 and the image size is 900x575 pixels. then, start masking/erasing your photos to make pngs. you can use an eraser for this ( add a layer mask beforehand so you can fix your mistakes!!!! ), but i used my quick selection tool instead bc it’s faster and i’m lazy. here’s a great tutorial for anyone who doesn’t know how to use the quick selection tool!

this is how my image looked like when i kept the parts i wanted for the outfit:

now, the tricky part, adding another head on top of that. luckily, the picture i chose for rosa worked when i flipped the image horizontally, titled the head with free transform, and erased until i could get it as realistic as possible.

whenever creating a manip such as this, be sure to adjust the different colorings, brightness/contrast, etc. to make things easier, use your “option” key on a layer so it only affects that one layer and not the whole image ( sad to say i only learned that recently but moving on. )

then i added the rest of the images such as the droid and the lightsaber which i colored purple by using selective color and hue/saturation layers.

now the fun part, p a i n t i n g. i admit, it can be tricky when you have no idea what to do with it. as long as you play around with it and have fun, it’ll look good in the end! start by creating two new layers. place one underneath all of your layers and one on top.

then i use the paint color and select a purple to use since purple is color i want to focus. after that, i change the paintbrush mode to either screen or overlay ( i used both, depending on what and where i was painting ) and changed the opacity so i can build up the color. when they say less is always more, it’s really true. also i used black too in case i added too much purple to my liking.

you can add multiple layers when painting so you don’t accidentally mess up when using multiple colors. this is what my layers looked like when i was content.

i know some are barely visible but i promise, all of the layers have paint on them.

after this, there isn’t much to do. add on some lighting/distressed overlays to give more texture, add text, any psd you chose, adjust with brightness, saturation, etc. if needed, and boom! you have your very own manip of your oc with a lightsaber!

i hope this helped anyone who is struggling with photoshop or just helped someone in general! let me know if any of you have any questions or requests for another tutorial!

Gif Tutorial (+ some Tumblr basics)

So I received this beautiful ask from @floydtab :

To know how I make my gif, read under cut:

First, I use KMPlayer to screencap the scene I wanted to gif. So if you don’t have one yet, I suggest you download.

NOTE: But before anything else, this is how I screencap in KMPlayer. Open the Player and the video you want to capture. Hit “Ctrl+G” and this box will appear: (and the highlighted ones are the settings I use)

Then click “Start” and it will start screencapping. To Stop, just click “Stop” and choose “Open” to see the images screencapped.

So after you have screencapped the scene you wanted, it’s time to open Photoshop! cheers!

But first, take note of the sizes Tumblr accept for photosets:

NOTE: Tumblr can only accept up to 10 image sets.

Sorry, if I’m saying a lot of things so let’s go back to Photoshop Click “CTRL + N” for new image. I’m going to be using the size: 540 x 268 px.

Make sure to choose “Frame Animation”

To load your image, go to: File > Scripts > Load Files Into Sack...

Then another box will appear. Hit “BROWSE...” and choose the images you screencapped. After it loaded click “OK”

So i will be using some clips of Joe Mazzello from The Social Network since i love him. lol.

First group your layers by clicking “CTRL + ALT + A” and you will notice that all your layers are selected. Then click “CTRL + G” and there your layers are grouped: circled in yellow. :)

(now look the red circle)

This one:

Click on it and choose “Copy Frame”

Then go back to your blank image where you will paste the images you loaded, to gif.

Just click on those bars again and choose “Paste Frame.”

A box will appear. Choose “Paste Over Selection” and hit “OK”

And this is how your workspace will look: (You will notice the ‘background’ layer, which I encircled in red. Delete that by clicking on that layer and hit the ‘backspace’ or ‘Del’ in your keyboard.)

I know, it doesn’t look really good, so we gotta transform. And this is where it will get a little complicated. But it will get easy once you’re familiar.

Hit “Ctrl + T” of your keyboard and see the red circles, you can choose either of them, then hold “shift” (or as for me I hold “Alt”, it depends) as you drag the image, so it won’t warp. until it fits in the box. (it depends on you what perspective you wanted with your image.)

As for me I like to focus on his face, so I will only fit his face in the box. And it will end up like this:

Now, we’ll go to the animation, the basic of gifmaking. ;)

This is your “Timeline” (look at the image below). Make sure the Photoshop you downloaded have the Frame Animation and Video Timeline.

Notice the bars again (circled in red). Click on them again and choose “Make Frames From Layers”

And the frames will appear. Now we gotta “Reverse” them. So, click on the bars (circled in red) again:

And choose “Reverse Frames”

After that, select all your frames, as we’re going to change the speed of your gif.

TAKE NOTE OF THE TINY ARROW HIGHLIGHTED IN YELLOW (image below), CLICK ON THAT AND CHOOSE “OTHER...”

And a box will appear: “Set Frame Delay”

I always use “0.05″ or “0.07″ for my gifs, as it’s make the gif smooth.

To play your gif, click on the “play button” or the arrow that is, on your timeline. And always set it to “Forever”

For closer look:

WE ARE ALMOST DONE! This time you’re just going to play with the colors or you can just download coloring PSDs from any resource blogs like: @chaoticresources or @yeahps ; and also check my resource blog: @rexourcez.

After adding some PSD coloring, it will end up like this:

But we’re not yet done as we needed to add another secret ingredient of gifmaking: THE SHARPENING.

To sharpen image the easy way, we have to convert to Video Timeline. (see image below)

Then your workspace will look like this:

Now, choose on the “group/folder” of the images you gif. And “Convert it to Smart Object”, by “right-clicking” on your mouse.

So let’s now move on to sharpening. Go to “FILTER > SHARPEN > SMART SHARPEN”

And this is my sharpening settings: (you can also download some sharpening actions from the resource blogs I mentioned, or to any resources blog)

To save your image, go to “FILE > EXPORT > SAVE FOR WEB (LEGACY)” or in your keyboard click “ALT + SHIFT + CTRL + S”

And this is my save settings: ( I only use either “Diffusion” or “Noise” depending on the quality.) and Tumblr only accept sizes up to 8mb, so make sure not to exceed.

My favorite little-known fact about @benditlikepress is that she was actually there when Tony and Ziva posed as the Rauniers in “Under Covers.” Here’s photo proof if you don’t believe me... People also don’t seem to know that the cool mom from Mean Girls was actually inspired by Jess taking care of Tony and Ziva while they were undercover. She is quoted to have said “Can I get you guys anything? Some snacks? A condom? Let me know! Oh, God love ya.”

Haters will say it’s Photoshop, but it’s clearly not. Jess is even wearing a mask to social distance... she’s been doing that since before it was cool! Tony and Ziva are hella lucky to have her.

You know who else is lucky to have her?

We are.

Just about every Friday, she blesses us with a new fic. She makes us laugh, she makes us cry, she makes us think hella dirty thoughts about Tiva... the whole nine yards. She’s able to not only truly understand the characters we love so much, but also use that understanding to craft stories that could honest-to-Gd be canon. She truly is the Tiva queen!

And on a totally non-fandom-related level, I’m extra super duper lucky to have her.

She’s the Ziva to my Tony, my favorite Jesstaurant, the true HBIC. She’s one of my favorite wives. She knows all kinds of insightful things (“just open the window, you’ll be fine!”, “extra is the bestra!”, “stealing is appealing!”). She just gets me, man. We’ve hung out with the same squirrels and we have the same dog and her mom is my bff.

Don’t try to understand our love, y’all.

And today is her birthdaaaaaaaay!

Talks Machina Highlights - Critical Role C2E4 (Feb 6, 2018)

Oh no.

Tonight’s guests are Sam Riegel, Liam O’Brien, and Marisha Ray!

New opening sequence by @wendydoodles! In true episode-50 fashion, they play it twice in a row because it’s so much fun.

Ashley accidentally calls Brian during the show, so he picks up and puts her on speakerphone.

Announcements: issue four of Vox Machina: Origins is out, the podcast will be updated with episode 4 on Thursday, tomorrow at 9:30 Pacific is a new G&S show called Weave Society (a team-up of Mines N Crafts and AXYB).

Nott has stolen 8 items since the campaign began. Liam adds to the list: “The audience’s heart.”

20% of die rolls in this episode were single-digit even after mods. By comparison, episode 3 was only 17%. By further comparison, C1E114 was only 3.9%. Le-vel two! Le-vel two!

Sam and Liam get kicked out while Brian asks Marisha questions about her solo scene last week. The show briefly turns into Marisha and Brian dissing Sam’s clothes.

Marisha had pretty much decided on the Cobalt Soul route ahead of time, since it was part of her backstory: running away from the Cobalt Reserve monks.

There was some temptation to say no to the offer, especially when the speeches got a bit more flowery. Marisha: “Beau was sitting there like *jerk-off motion*.” It took the punch to really get her attention.

Marisha is a little concerned that the group is starting to view Beau as a liability (in a different way than Keyleth was), but she also points out that pretty much the whole group is a liability right now. She thinks it makes sense for Matt to pull in Beau’s backstory first, just to give her a more profound reason to stick around.

Beau is partly just trying to learn new moves, but she’s also motivated by her new mentor being a “hot elf monk”.

Beau’s "fuck-it” attitude is partly related to some deeper backstory stuff, but also motivated in part by rebellion against her rich dad.

Gif of the week: Matt losing it over Nott’s zero-deception roll.

All Sam and Liam know about Beau’s scene was a muffled yell of “I’M GONNA PUNCH YOUR FACE” and two natural twenties. Liam suspects Matt and Marisha were just paying bills. Marisha: “In our new segment sponsored by H&R Block...”

Sam has been rewearing his shirts in order from the first campaign, but he was absent in episode 5, so now he’s not sure what to do. He likes the idea of going topless, but “we want to retain viewers”. Marisha suggests a chroma key green shirt that can be photoshopped at will.

Sam is impressed that so much of the party managed to buy drugs four episodes in when it took Scanlan so long. Liam: “I guess you’re just bad at Dungeons & Dragons.”

Caleb knew he and Nott would be able to fake their way through the bathhouse with confidence. Sam: “Do you have a wealthy past?” Liam: “No, I’m a mermaid werewolf.”

Sam thinks that Jester’s backstory is that there is no backstory. It’s all just on the surface.

Art of the week: a gorgeous boulder-parchment-shears attack for Beau.

The intense focus on bathing was originally to mess with Laura, but now Liam’s coming up with a justification for it. There is absolutely no salt whatsoever over the cast latching onto the stinky thing to the extent they did. Not even a little bit. Nope.

Nott is not especially enthused about water.

Marisha has had fencing, stage combat, Krav Maga, little bit of taekwondo, boxing, tai chi, bo staff, quarterstaff, European fighting stick. She’s interested in different fighting styles and how they came about.

Liam and Sam share their different stories about how Sam picked goblin rogue. Sam: “I feel like we’re in a fight.” Liam: “All I hear is aerators.”

Caleb saved Nott’s life in the prison they escaped from; Sam emphasizes that Nott is extremely concerned about his well-being. “She’s seen him almost die a bunch. He is dainty.”

Liam and Matt have talked about specific spells Caleb’s interested in, including a tiny bit of homebrew. Sam asks if the new spells he learned are a part of what he’s been working towards. Liam, avoiding the question entirely: “Hmm. Interesting.”

Caleb and Nott have been "getting fucked up running shitty little cons for a while now.” Caleb’s been wanting to find people who were level-headed and could help out, and so, failing that, he gravitated towards Fjord as someone who at least seems a bit more rational (”I know he’s an asshole too”). He’s also excited to get a chance to riff off Travis more often in this campaign. The words “actor boner” come up and are inevitably mined for high comedy.

Sam mentions that we’ve seen a bit of Nott’s personality quirks that made her an outcast from her particularly bloodthirsty clan of goblins, but any further details of her backstory will play out in the game.

Sam reveals that Nott has been gifted flowers in the past. Brian: “What was her reaction?” Sam: “She ate them.”

Talks Machina Popcorns Machina on Alpha:

Everything is temporarily derailed when Marisha swats a fly into her drink.

There is already half-werewolf half-mermaid art of Caleb from earlier in the show.

Items from the last campaign they wish they had? Liam wants the Displacement Cloak. Sam wants the Tome of Leadership so Nott can get some charisma (it would put her all the way up to 7). Marisha points out that Keyleth was going to use it after a hundred years, so Liam starts plotting a heist... where they’ll have to wait 80 years after stealing it to use it. Sam: “Oh wait, goblins only live 45 years.” Marisha wants an Immovable Rod. Sam wants a Bag of Holding. Marisha wants the healing potions she didn’t use last time.

Marisha on the women in the party having the highest strength scores: “It’s dope as fuck.”

Bad travel habits: Caleb will want to go to bookstores constantly. Everyone agrees that Jester’s the kind of person who’ll want to stop every time she sees anything remotely interesting.

Sam and Liam are both having a really hard time picking their options for level 3. Marisha’s a little more laid-back: “Combat class!” She already knows what she’s doing.

Things, as they do, get a little out of hand when Sam suggests a key party. Liam gets up and leaves the studio. Sam: “You said we could make a snuff film!” Brian, talking over the Geek and Sundry logo at the end: “PLEASE END IT.” It’s about par for the course, really.

I apologise for my shitty photoshop, my partner who does freelance design tried to help. Needless to say photoshoping is hard. In fact other than Jungkook, my partner did this whole little banner.

Jungkook had just wrestled his assailant off him when he saw your neck get sliced open by the undead thing's nails. It was ugly, jagged, like it had been trying to tear your throat out. Time seemed to stop then, when the thing let go, your body falling to the ground as he just watched in shock.

"Y/N!"

This couldn't be happening. This couldn't be happening.

And then time kickstarted again and he was seeing red. He jumped up to his feet and grabbed the creature closest to him and thrust it face first into the wall, its head exploding from the shear force behind the action, covering his hand in viscera that splattered on to him as well. The next one, the one with your blood on its hands leaped onto his back, trying to rip and tear its way through his suit but failing. Jungkook flipped it over his shoulder and onto the floor, stomping into its chest cavity, crushing its heart beneath his boot. For extra measure, he took one of his crescent blades and hacked at the thing's neck until it had separated from its body.

His breathing was ragged when he finally stopped, dropping his blade to rush over to where you lay unmoving. His mask dissolved away.

"No no no." His hands hovered over you, unsure of what to do before pulling up into his arms, he called forth Khonshu's power to heal and watched as… nothing happened. "Khonshu! Why isn't it working? Heal her please!" He pleaded.

"She is beyond my reach, my son."

"Bullshit. You brought me back. Bring her back too. Bring her back!"

"That's because I chose you for my avatar. I can only have one at a time."

"Then make her your avatar! Take this power and bring her back to me!"

"... You know she would never agree to that."

Jungkook wailed, holding you tighter and trying again to revive you, tears falling freely as he pressed his head to yours, "Please, please, if there are any other gods out there, any listening, please… she didn't deserve this. I'm begging you, bring her back. I'll do whatever you ask, just don't let this be the end."

“You poor little human, touched by Khonshu. Slain during your quest to keep humanity safe before it even began. Those guardians don’t know friend from foe.” Came a regal voice.

You opened your eyes, finding yourself in a lounge of some kind. Across from you sat a goddess with a lioness head. They were either Hathor or Sekhmet. The problem of knowing which was in front of you currently was that they were essentially two halves of one whole sharing a body.

“Where am I?”

“This is a vessel travelling outside space and time, inside the Othervoid and you, little human, are dead.”

“I kind of gathered that.”

The goddess chuckled, “We have an offer for you, so you can return. We are Hathor and Sekhmet, goddesses of love, war, healing, destruction, transition, vengeance, protector of pharaohs in war and death. The eye of Ra. Normally we keep out of human affairs but we cannot risk Ammit being released. So, we are in need of a warrior. Bind yourself to us to protect this world and the one you love, be our hands and eyes in the mortal world.” The goddess stood and held her hand out to you, “In exchange for your life, do you swear to love and protect those who are worthy and to avenge them should they come to harm?”

You reached for her hand, so much larger than your own, “I do.”

Light filled your vision, much like when Khonshu had given you his sight. With a gasp you pulled air back into your empty lungs. You could feel the gash across your neck stitch itself shut. You were still getting your bearings so it took you a second to realise you were being clutched in Jungkook’s arms, he was quaking, sobbing. You raised a hand onto his shoulder, getting his attention. Jungkook startled, pushing you away just enough to get a good look at you. And you him.

His suit was covered in blood, whose you didn’t know, his mask was down. His face was red and blotchy from crying, hair a mess and his eyes not glowing.

“Y/N! Oh thank the gods! Whichever one answered my prayer. Khonshu said there was nothing we could do and I- I- Y/N… Don’t you dare die on me again.”

He pulled you into him again, squeezing you tightly, using your breathing as an anchor for his volatile emotions.

You wrapped your arms around him, “It's okay. I’m back, I’m here.”

“I see you have become the avatar to the Eye of Ra, little starling… or should I say little sun?”

Strange, you still couldn’t see him.

“Honestly, cousin, I can’t believe you let your avatar’s lover die like that. Look at the poor boy, he’s shaken beyond belief. Although, I doubt you would understand. You’re still a child.” You jumped a little when you saw your goddess appear, arms crossed and a playful smirk on her features. “Little human, what would you like to wear as our warrior?”

“Something practical I guess.”

“So be it.”

The goddess clicked her fingers and Jungkook let go so you could stand. Red linen snaked around you like how Jungkook’s bandages did when forming his suit. But unlike his suit, your arms were left bare from fabric, instead adorned with golden braces. You had no cape or mask either. Instead you were in a red thigh length tunic with slits up to the hip, over that you had a type of kilt Egyptian men wore in the ancient times, on your hips was a golden belt with two Khopesh blades. And luckily your legs were covered in a pair of loose fitting white trousers, similar to sweatpants but… better was the only way you could put it. It was like a mix of the modern and the ancient past had formed your attire.

“Wow, I’m almost jealous,” Jungkook praised, “but your eyes aren’t glowy… Is that not compulsory?”

“I guess Khonshu has a flare for the dramatic,” you offered, “now come on, we have a jaded ex to stop.”

"Be careful, little starling, Sekhmet is not a goddess to be trifled with. Her bloodlust is legendary," Khonshu's voice echoed in your head as you made your way deeper into the tomb, Jungkook close behind.

You were aware of this already. In myth Sekhmet was made from Ra's anger at humanity. You had read how Sekhmet decimated humanity and ignored Ra's orders to stop. How she had to be tricked into drinking beer for her rampage to end. And how, for a time, she left the gods in anger at being tricked, making Ra's power diminish and Thoth had to persuade her to return.

You took hold of your Khopesh, which were lighter than you expected, and prayed that Hathor would be the one guiding you through this upcoming fight.

Note: So this version of Hathor/Sekhmet is different from the Marvel comic depiction of them and is hopefully more in line with actual Egyptian mythology. I'm no expert so if you guys have any useful tid bits or nuggets of info that'd be great :)

omgggg runes!!!! they bring so many memories vbfjhdcs i remember when i was much much younger i learned the writing for fun and then wrote fun thoughts and / or diary entries in my cool secret writing in the middle of class knowing damn well nobody would be able to read it but me bjfhdc it was so much fun!!! thinking back about it maybe that’s why im so fascinated with asian languages (and generally languages that use a different writing system) because!!! it makes reading challenging!! and challenging = fun!!! bdjhcs sorry for being a language nerd rn but i remember when i tried learning some greek last year my brain HURT trying to learn how to read the words fluently because it takes so much energy and brain power to consciously tell yourself a “y” looking letter is pronounced as a hard g or that a “v” is pronounced as an “n”, it hurt my brain so much and i miss it bfhjvdknbhdfvc

WHY I’M DOING THIS? XD

Well, this is a community that I discovered on December 2016, and since then I’m IN LOVE with it <333 I think that it has really useful tips, and everytime I see a studyblr post I get inspired to work on my stuff xD also, although there are a lot of accounts on this community, and many incredible posts, I have notice that they’re more adressed to US students, or for other countries with similar systems, while here in Mexico we manage a different scholar system. So, with that, I decided to open my own blog, and not only post my notes or things like that, but I also want to help everyone who has an education system like mine :3

CURRENT GOALS:

Well, I’m not an organized person, so I hope to fix that with this.

Keep learning French, and start learning Korean, Japanese, German, Thai, and Russian.

To have a grade higher than 95 (I think that converted to grade letters it would be an A) to enter the Talented Students Program in my college.

To have excellent grades, so I can apply to a Double Degree with CityU of Seattle.

Excellent grades = going in an academic exchange for 6 months to Canada or France.

Study, and prepare myself so I can win a scholarship to study my entire career in a college in Japan <3 for this point, if anyone knows or has a studyblr blog related to Physics, Math, Chemistry and/or Biology that you could recommend me, I would be very grateful <3333 I know my career doesn’t have sense with those subjects, but I may choose another career to study there, and Japan also asks me that :’v

hi! i actually haven’t started any GD classes yet! i go to MassArt and our freshman year is called foundation year (which is like exploratory at voc-tech schools like i also went to) where we take basic art classes to get every1 on the same page/for ppl who dont know what they want yet. for a majority of art programs you will need to submit a portfolio of your work, there’ll likely be a required number of traditional drawings and then art pertaining to the field you want to go into. it differs for every school/program.

even though i havent start classes yet for GD, i can already say i love it. the department is super helpful and nice. i know a few ppl who have graduated from it and they all loved it. some tips from what i’ve experienced:

ok this got super long so i put it under a read more.

art school is way harder than u think. i went in from a media-related shop in high school with a lot of prior knowledge to programs and techniques and basic art skills. in some classes i was advanced and flew thru the work. in other classes i struggled and didnt know jack shit. i worked in front of a computer in adobe programs for 4 years i dont know how to mix plaster. i failed 1 class and dropped another. i failed form study which is pretty much just 3d sculptures and stuff. there’s gonna be ppl that are way better than you at stuff, and you cant get discouraged by it. especially in gd, where u use a little bit of everything. just keep trying to make u the best u can be.

art stuff is fucking expensive. my tip for this is save up and scour for coupons. blick is simultaneously the best and worst place in the world for artists bc: it has everything (like 98% of the time) u would ever need but ur not walking out without spending at least $80. they have sales and stuff constantly and they’re rewards program is bomb but art supplies are just generaly fucking expensive. the class i dropped was a painting elective 1st semester, the prof told us we weren’t allowed to buy the store brand paint we had to get a specific brand and we needed like 20 colors. the paints were like $15 each. thats $300 for paints that i will only use for that specific class and probably never touch. it literally wasnt worth it.(i hate painting) my orientation group leader literally told us to just steal pens and pencils where there arent cameras…shit’s rough

graphic design is hella complicated, it isnt just fuckin around in photoshop. some upperclassmen said that we might not even be allowed to use a computer our first year in the major. (that got me lil nervous ngl). there’s a lot of traditional art/different medias involved like drawing, painting (ugh), and 3d work (uGH), and photography. again, i havent even started and GD classes so i cant really say what its like bc its different for everyone and the field is so big that there’s tons of different things you can hone in on. from what it looks like to me is there’s a little bit of everything.

x-acto knives are ur best friends. this is dead serious you literally need them for e v e r y t h i n g. and then u get like, addicted to using them for trivial things like opening a bag of chips or cutting strings off clothes

this may not have been the most organized thing in the world but i hope it helped a bit. feel free to ask me about GD and what im doing once classes start again/after the 1st semester. or even just ask me about art school in general! i literally fucking love it and i love talking about it so humor me. i move back in sept 3 and im super excited :)

The world's most unpredictable awards show just threw us another curveball. Hosting this year's hottest night in music is comedian and actor Sebastian Maniscalco. Yeah, never heard of him either, but the outspoken Italian is ready to bring the laughs and the chutzpah back into the VMAs. Joining him will be all our favorite divas, divos and fresh new artists who've been dominating our playlists over the last 12 months. This year's ceremony is going to be a battle of the pop princesses with both Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift snatching 10 nominations each. Who will take home the most Moon Persons is yet to be seen, but here are my top picks.

BEST NEW ARTIST Ava Max Billie Eilish H.E.R. Lil Nas X Rosalía

Lizzo It may seem like Lizzo just came out of nowhere and went straight to the front of the class, but she's been schooling her fans since she was 14 years old. In an industry that puts so much pressure on image and tries to hide flaws with photoshop and camera tricks, Lizzo celebrates her curves and literally puts it all out there. Her confidence is only overshadowed by her talent, with a stream of hits and sold-out shows over the past year.

BEST COLLABORATION BTS (featuring Halsey): "Boy with Luv" Lil Nas X (featuring Billy Ray Cyrus): "Old Town Road (Remix)" Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello: "Señorita" Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber: "I Don't Care" Taylor Swift (featuring Brendon Urie of Panic! at the Disco): "Me!"

Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper: "Shallow" As if she wasn't jaw-droppingly gifted all on her own, no one has ever brought the on-screen chemistry as Gaga and Cooper did in the big-screen blockbuster A Star is Born. The heat was so intense that it raised suspicions of the two being more than just co-stars. While those rumors have since been squashed, I still get a few raised hairs every time I hear their duet from the diva's Oscar-winning film.

Jonas Brothers: "Sucker" Everyone has their opinion of what makes a great pop song, or in this case a great pop video, but I'm sure you would agree that Nick soaking in a claw foot tub and Joe tied up in his underwear would be somewhere at the top of the list. Not only does this earworm bury deep into your brain with its throwback vibe and razor-sharp hook, but watching these guys all grown up and having more fun than ever makes this clip as timeless as the track. Did I mention the bathtub?

Ella Mai: "Trip" After a 13 year absence from the show, the R&B category is back! Maybe it's because of the genre's resurgence into mainstream music; but whatever the reason, it's opening doors to a whole new pool of talent that may otherwise be overlooked, like this incredibly gifted and well-deserved artist.

Silk City and Dua Lipa: "Electricity" Music trends will come and go, but classic house will never go out of style. These guys took the essence of "Show Me Love" and "Finally" and weaved it into a track that's as fresh as it is nostalgic. Throw in Lipa's sultry vocals weaving a hypnotic melody and you've got yourself a dance anthem that no one can resist.

In a time when LGBTQ lives are being attacked – physically and politically – on the daily, it's refreshing and inspiring to see an artist take a stand and put her influence where her mouth is. Not only is the track brilliantly written, but I haven't seen that many LGBTQ icons together since the Tony Awards.

I've always been pretty lukewarm when it comes to the country-turned-pop singer, but any director that could wrangle that many divas in one video shoot and not end up on the nightly news deserves a trophy.

Don't ask me what they're singing about, but I could tell they were having fun while singing it.

Ariana Grande This may seem like I'm playing faves here, but if you take a look at all the work the other nominees have put out in the last year together, they still don't add up to the number of albums, singles, videos and collaborations Ari has checked off her to-do list. While it may not have been ground-breaking, and there's no doubt this award will actually go to Billie Eillish, no one can argue that this diva has put in more blood, sweat and tears this year than any other artist in the biz.

One little music video won't change the world overnight, but if it can inspire a new generation to think differently than the one before them, then that's something to get excited about.
