dang mpv really does not like taking 2160p screencaps huh... i tried to re-download kmplayer for it but it crashes and burns more times than it works so what other options do i have because like. it's not that mpv player doesn't take good screenshots with 4k footage it does but then for some reason the gif comes out looking clunky and it didn't use to happen with kmplayer

anyone who happens to know a lil bit more about KMplayer settings than I do, i somehow caused the screen setting to always be inset like this within the player and i am not sure how to fix it.

i also am not even sure what to google to fix it.

if anyone can help or point me in the right direction, i would super appreciate it!

KMPlayer issues

Fellow gifmakers who use KMPlayer, can you help me out?

So as you could tell I use KMPlayer to make screencaps for my gifs and recently (like a few weeks ago) it started doing thing weird thing where it’s doing it.. backwards? For the lack of better word.

So for example when I want to cap a scene from the beginning of the episode/movie and press start, it will capture a scene from the end. So if I want that particular scene I have to go to the end and click around to find where it will capture that. I hope it makes sense?

I mean it still works but it’s very frustrating and takes up a lot of time and idk what the problem could be.

I updated to the latest version and that didn’t solve it.

Anyone has any idea what I could do about this?

but ive never tried t gif anything off yt before and im like

how do i do this if all these yt to mp4 converters make everything so ugly quality wise
