summary ౨ৎ

your boyfriend, itoshi rin, always looks a little lost whenever he’s out with you. he doesn’t really get your antics, but he’ll follow you anyways ♡

loverboy rin lol, reader is described as pretty, beautiful, etc, oh oh and reader buys a dress , not much else , and ummm just lots of fluff and cutesy stuff and yeah !

“are you looking for something, sir?” a store attendant asks, a kind smile on her lips. she looks back at him— the man you love— who is also known as your boyfriend, rin. itoshi rin.

“no.” he’d respond, shaking his head at the woman. short and simple, as always. in all honesty, rin’s not too sure what he’s doing here. he watches as the lady leaves, his eyes immediately shifting to the dressing room. you told him to wait out here while you try on some outfits, but he feels like you’ve been taking a bit too long in there. are you hurt?

the thought alone is enough to make him feel a bit skittish, his foot tapping against the floor. he peers inside, glancing back at the endless stalls of dressing rooms. he eyes the one you stepped into— number thirteen. thirteen, thirteen, thirteen. are you okay? he feels a bit sick. what if something happened to you?

he spots you walking out after what felt like hours of nervously chattering his teeth, and he relaxes immediately. shoulders slumped and the crease from his eyebrows furrowing smoothing over, he finds his feet just barely grazing the little fencing of the queue. he knows he shouldn’t, it’s the women’s dressing room— but you’re right there, approaching him with that happy smile on your face.

“riiinn,” you draw out, and he feels his knees going weak. you’re so beautiful he’s almost sure he could cry. but he remains stoic, his hand reaching out to take some of the clothes for you. “look.” you say, holding up.. some sort of dress. he thinks he recalls you showing him a picture of something similar earlier today.

“you’ll look beautiful. let’s go pay now.” he’d say, his tone just as gentle as ever. he’s always like this with you. his hand reaches up, cupping your cheek and brushing aside your hair as he presses a sweet kiss to your forehead.

he reaches for your hand, leading you to the register. it’s usually you leading him, but he feels sort of bad for trailing behind you like a puppy.

the next time you both go somewhere, you’re bringing him to a cafe. your favorite one. yes, rin remembers these things. how could he not? he’d never forgive himself if he were to forget anything about you.

“mhm.. yes, can i please get (favourite order)?” you ask, expression bright. rin thinks you’re like the sun sometimes. shining so prettily. he wishes he could take a picture— but he’d feel like a creep pulling out his phone in the middle of a cafe and taking photos of you like some stalker. but you’re the absolute love of his life, why should he care?

probably because he knows you’ll get all embarrassed and flustered if he does pull out his phone like he wants to. as much as he’d love to capture your beautiful smile in a picture to admire when he misses you, he would much rather have you happy.

but, don’t blame him when he ‘sneakily’ snaps a picture of you. the tips of his flush a pretty shade of red when his flash goes off, and rin is so embarrassed that he feels like that reindeer with the red nose when he watches your lips part.

“rin!” you exclaim, practically dropping your drink as you look back at your boyfriend from across the table. “did you just—“

“i didn’t.” he mumbles, gaze shifting away from yours. his pale lips curve into a subtle pout, and you really can’t bring yourself to be upset. you just flash him a knowing smile, which only makes his heart beat faster and spin the stars around his head a little harder. have you put a spell or something on him?

rin likes going out with you.

he feels a little confused sometimes, especially when you’re walking down the sidewalk, eyes bright as you look at the stores lined up. rin knows you like shopping, so he’s more than happy to come with you on your little trips to the store. even if he has no idea what he’s doing.

all he knows, is that you look so gorgeous when you smile. nothing could ever compete with you and your undeniable beauty, the absolute joy that radiates off of you like some sort of angel’s aura whenever you’re happy.

he feels a little proud, knowing that he’s contributing to your happiness as you tug him along, your fingers interlocked with his.

he likes it when you smile, he likes it when you’re happy.

on your next date, your boyfriend has no complaints standing with you in a line for some sort store. you told him it was a new one, and that you’re so excited to look inside. he’s just happy to be with you.

when you’re both finally let inside, he follows after you, eyes focused on your form as you excitedly look through everything. he has to physically hold himself back from falling over. you’re so, so, cute. he lives for that smile.

“rin, rin!” you wave your hand in front of his eyes, a small giggle escaping your lips at the dazed, or more like, lovestruck expression on his face. “are you listening?” you ask, tilting your head and leaning closer to him.

“of course.” he says quickly, feeling just a little ashamed for getting distracted. “…i’m sorry.” he says after a few moments. should he drop to his knees?

“don’t apologise.” you smile, cupping his cheeks and squishing them slightly. if you both weren’t so caught up loving each other, you could almost hear someone in the background.. something about.. ‘why can’t that be me?’ single people, these days.

“what were you saying?” rin prompts, nose scrunching slightly as you pinch at his cheek. he loves you more than anything, but this is a little embarrassing. he feels like a child. yet, he somehow likes it. maybe because it’s you.

“oh, right! have a look at this dress!”

and that’s how rin finds himself standing in the middle of yet another store, looking like a little boy who’s lost his mother after you ran off. he sighs fondly, eyes sparkling as he watches you look through a shelf. he doesn’t care about anything in this store. as far as he cares, all of it is just a bunch of little things that will bring you joy.

your dates are always fun, rin thinks. but he likes it when the two of you are together at home, too.

you’re curled against him, scrolling through tiktok with your head resting on his shoulder. yes, he loves this. even if he has no idea what the video you’re showing him is supposed to mean.

“your humour is interesting, love.” he mutters, nuzzling his nose against your hair. a playful jab watered down by his love for you.

your boyfriend, itoshi rin, loves you more than anything.

My Fashion HCs for Teenage/YA Stan Marsh

Disclaimer: These are just my design notes that I consider when designing/drawing Stan and my personal interpretation of how I think he would dress and present himself! You're free to disagree or even take inspo from this. I don't own clothes nor your opinion. 🫶 Please also feel free to let me know your personal fashion HCs through the comments or tags as well. I'd love to hear other people's interpretations of these characters and I'm always collecting new HCs!!

Starting off strong:

A loser

Alt/grunge/punk kind of style.

He likes to think he’s well dressed, and he wouldn’t be too wrong, but that’s if we’re assuming he has the energy to put in effort in his fit. If he’s depressed, it’s whatever’s the cleanest in his room. 

Typa guy to wear his undies inside out (thanks @mantequillamcwhoremick)

He’s got some DIY piercings.

One earlobe piercing, one eyebrow piercing, and one lip piercing. He got them in that order. Was a wuss for each one, and stopped getting more after the lip piercing.

Definitely cried the first time around, lol. Kenny helped him walk through the process.

Not like he knew any more than him though. Stan just assumed Kenny would be familiar with this type of stuff.

He was not.

They ended up looking up a tutorial on youtube and prayed for the best

He’s also got small DIY tattoos

Not exactly sure what kind? Something small and generic, like a star. Or a music note. Somewhere inconspicuous like on his wrist or his ankle.

He also got help from Kenny for that one. And once again, he’s just as clueless as Stan.

OVERSIZED EVERYTHING. Idk I'm projecting my NB-ism onto him but I like to think it gives him gender euphoria for when he doesn’t want to feel particularly masc. 

Will occasionally wear eyeliner (got this hc from the bitchless au author)

Only when they're feeling comfy though.

He wishes he was sooo punk and sooo alt, but he is a fast fashion king (thanks @alottodix). He does not customize, DIY or add studs to his clothes. He gets that shit straight from Hot Topic that was probably made by some child in China working in an industrial factory, being paid pennies.

Colors

Reds and blues. Colors like burgundy, carmine, and vermillion for the reds. For the blues, he’ll wear navys and denims the most.

The usual neutrals of course, like black, white, sometimes beige. But his go to is brown that he uses for accent colors.

I don’t think he’d really incorporate a lot of patterns. The most he’d go is big stripes. He prefers more graphic elements.

In terms of actual clothes:

Tops

Band. T-Shirts. This should be self explanatory.

Sometimes ripped. Alterations were either already included when he bought it or someone did it for him (either Henrietta or Kenny).

Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Deftones, Arctic Monkeys, Linkin Park, Radiohead, etc. etc. The list goes on. 

He’s tried bleaching some dark t-shirts to give it a cool design. It didn’t go too well. Now he just has t-shirts with bleach marks on them.

He’d probably wear his Tegridy shirt out of convenience occasionally, but he’d wear it inside out, or he’d find a way to cross out the Tegridy logo.

Hoodies. Oversized ones, too.

Sometimes some shorter sleeved hoodies that he layers on top of longer sleeve stuff.

Oversized dress shirts, but it’s not his go-to. Has one pair of long sleeves and one pair of short sleeves and that’s it.

Pants

Baggy jeans. 

Baggy cargo pants. 

The baggy pants are all frayed at the ends because keep getting caught under his shoe and dragging against the concrete, but also he has no normal belts. All he has are studded belts and sometimes that’s too edgy for the occasion. 

Oversized jorts that reach his knees. 

Cargo shorts. Esp those with the little belts/strings hanging down.

Normal jeans too. Ripped. Probably bought them ripped and didn’t rip them up himself.

Jackets/Coats

Flannel but he wears it well. Specifically a red flannel. 

Oversized jackets. Specifically this one brown leather/aviator kind of jacket he got from Jimbo that just swallows him whole. 

And normal leather jackets too, of course. 

Denim jackets with patches on it (Kenny sewed it for him)

Letterman/varsity jackets from his quarterback days (he doesn’t play anymore, but they still fit).

Bomber jackets

Barn coats

For winter, just a regular old winter jacket or a puffer jacket.

Shoes

Thickkkk boots, like Doc Martens. He thinks he’s soooo fashionable for wearing them (he’s not). The tall soles give him the extra height he wants.

Incredibly worn red sneakers with frayed shoelaces from years or not tying them properly.

Oh and high-top converse shoes too, lol.

Accessories

Some alt/punk-ish jewelry he got from the goth kids and the occasional outings they’d do at Hot Topic. Jewelry includes: 

Rings (specifically the kinds that are chunky and/or have some kind of cool engravings on them)

Earrings + piercings. Some have crosses on them

Wallet chains.

Studded leather bracelets.

All silver.

Arm sweatbands. He started wearing them while working at Tegridy but ended up thinking he looked good with it, so he sometimes uses it to accessorize.

There’s a point where he’s embarrassed about his goth phase and doesn’t wear it as often, but when the trend resurfaces and becomes “cool” again he starts testing the waters again and wearing his stuff more.

Wears Jimbo’s dog tag, esp to piss off Randy. Almost as a “fuck you, Jimbo’s a better dad than you’ll ever be.” 

Studded belts. The only belts he has. If he needs some normal ones, he’ll raid Randy’s closet.

Leather bangles, specifically a thick one. He likes to use that whenever he’s cosplaying or LARPing.

Leather rope bracelets that he wraps around his wrist (like the kind you have to wrap around your arm yourself, not the kind that's already weaved)

And also this piece of loose leather string that he just wraps around his wrist as a makeshift bracelet (that he also uses for cosplaying and LARPing).

Occasionally he has to wear an arm brace for wrist/hand pain because of his carpal tunnel (from playing League too much) 

Oh and residual pain from when he got shot ig

One time he wore some ripped up arm warmers and got called gay for it. Never wore them again.

Wool mittens when he’s younger, wool gloves when he’s older.

Fingerless gloves when he wants to be edgy

Band button pins and whatever thing he wants to virtue signal

Oh and glasses. Lol.

Hats

All of the hats are to hide his greasy hair

His stupid puffball hat/toque (im canadian we call them toques here)

Other miscellaneous stuff:

Bro is NOT well groomed:

It’s hard to shower when you’re depressed and working on a weed farm.

Speaking of weed, he has the faintest scent of it lingering on him, even if he doesn’t smoke it.

He doesn’t smell horrible, but he certainly doesn’t smell like daisies and roses either.

Definitely leaning more towards bad.

He’s at the very least self-aware when he does smell bad and feels bad for it.

Tries to put on deodorant. If he can remember it.

Definitely wrinkly clothes. All of his clothes are on a pile and he just picks one from it.

Hair

His iconic overgrown, badly bleached hair, of course.

Or just his regular black hair.

Either regular length or getting near shoulder length.

He’d rock a mullet well.

Leaves it hanging or ties it with a hair tie. 

He tries not to let it get too long because he gets sick of Cartman calling him a hippie.

His outfit combos:

I didn’t include this section in Kyle’s HC, but that’s because he’s the exception. That ginger has no outfit combos to be had.

Anyways! Stan’s pretty good at layering, so these are some of the ways he’d layer his clothes:

Oversized t-shirt on top of anything: long sleeve dress shirt, short sleeve dress shirt, turtleneck, etc. 

Jacket over hoodie.

Jacket on jacket on whatever’s underneath (t-shirt or whatever)

He wears his flannels buttoned up (not all the way, of course), open, wrapped around his waist, and wrapped around his neck. It's more of an accessory than anything.

Diagnosis: Kinda queer. But passable 👍

Imagine lying in bed with Izuku. He’s lying on the bed properly while you’re flipped the other way, both of which are shifted enough so you can grab each other’s hands and not risk the other's foot in their face. Your fingers lightly trace the scars on his hands, bending his fingers down except for the middle and giggling as you flip him off with his own hand. You feel him shake his head against the pillow, amused by your childish actions. The two of you had been talking for what felt like 30 minutes when the conversation began to lull and your curiosity had gotten the better of you. You sat up slightly to check the time on your alarm clock. The clock read 3 am. The two of you had begun talking at 10 pm. It had definitely not been a 30-minute conversation. You turned to see that Izuku had already raised his head to look at you with a puzzled look. “It’s already 3 am,” you said, laying your head back down on the foot of your bed. “I didn’t realize that we’ve been up for so long.”

He chuckles and begins tracing shapes into the back of your hand. “Time flies when you’re having fun,” his chuckle turns into a short laugh as he hears you groan in response. “I mean it’s true; time does fly when you’re having fun.” He squeezes your hand three times before continuing the little patterns that he was drawing onto your skin.

“Mm, do you ever wonder what life would've been like if you didn’t make certain choices? Like if you did or didn’t listen to someone.” The question came to you randomly, like seeing a shooting star in the night sky. There are many stars, but for some reason this one caught your attention by falling. You hear Izuku hum in thought; his finger begins to tap against the back of your hand.

“I try not to think about it often because the choices I make could threaten the lives of others.” This answer startles you a little, but it’s not an unexpected answer; you should’ve known that he thinks about this stuff, as you know, he’s one of the country’s greatest heroes. “Sometimes, though, when I really get into my thoughts, I think about what the world might’ve been like if I had actually done what Kacchan had asked me to do in middle school.” He squeezes your hand again when he hears your sharp intake of air. “But if I did, then he and I wouldn’t have mended our relationship, I wouldn’t have met the people at UA, and I especially wouldn’t have met you.” He lifts his head to look at you and flashes you a cheesy smile; his eyes widen when he hears you sniffle.

“Oh Izuku,” You let out a whimper and sat up, moving to cuddle into his side and bury your face into the crook of his neck and shoulder. 

“Don’t worry; those thoughts come very rarely, only ever when I feel like I didn’t do my best to save anyone.” His scarred hand moves up and down your back to comfort you, which is crazy because you should be the one comforting him. Oh Izuku, always thinking of others before himself. “Let me ask the question back to you: Do you ever wonder what life would’ve been like if you didn’t make the choices you did?”

You chuckle softly and look up at him as he looks at you as best as he could without smacking you with his chin. “Mine seems so silly compared to yours now,” you laugh awkwardly. “I was going to talk about how if I went to UA instead of Shiketsu, or if I decided to listen to my parents and become a doctor instead of a hero.”

“Those aren’t silly; they’re still life-changing.” You smile softly and sit up to look at him properly, your hand pressed against his chest. He looks up at you, smiling back as he reaches up to cup the side of your face. 

“I love you, Izuku, and everything about you.” You look briefly to the side in thought. “Well, except for the scary All Might figurine that you insisted on getting and placing in a spot where it always seems like he’s watching me.” You shiver and turn your head a little more to glare at the figurine placed on a shelf in your room, his little beady eyes looking into yours.

Izuku lets out a hearty laugh and pulls you back down into his arms. “I love you too, now c’mon, let’s attempt to get some sleep.” He kisses the top of your head and pulls the blanket over the two of you. Your head resting above his heart, slowly falling asleep to the rhythmic thumping within his chest.

SMG4 Crew Redesigns Part 1

Finally got them done! I saw some people do redesigns for the SMG4 Crew and I wanted to put my spin on it. So far I’ve done SMG4, SMG3, Meggy, Mario, and Luigi. I'm for sure gonna do the others at one point. But it was perfect timing since I did finally finish all the arcs in order (and the important episodes in between for the most part) so I at least have some better context then all the stuff from 2022+ and all.

So first up SMG4. I’ve seen people incorporate the glitch color pallet so I tried to put a little bit on the shoes and pant legs. That and I’ve seen him associated with stars. I don’t quite understand why people do redesigns with it; maybe it’s something in an old episode I haven’t seen yet or something but I thought it’d be neat to add. Added the number four roman numeral for him too cuz it felt off only having 3 have it. Shoulder strap off cuz vibes idk.

Next up SMG3! I’ve seen so many people give him long hair/ a mullet and dammit it was just too perfect to have. That with some ripped pants and gloves and earrings to add for his redesign. And of course the overall pocket for Eggdog because yes.

Up next Meggy! She felt like the biggest change to me but I think it’s mainly the hair being the reason. Originally I was keeping the long hair, but when I was watching the arcs and saw her inkling form didn’t have any tentacle things in the back just the front (forgive me idk if that’s what those are called a barely played splatoon) so I felt like after turning human she would first have the long hair but then cut it as a way to cope if that makes sense? Idk she seemed to have struggled for some time just trying to adjust to human form and at least she would have control over her hair. Then I gave freckles which I believe her first human model design did have them but it was so faded it was hard to tell so I tried to make em a bit more noticeable (though now that I’m looking at them maybe I should make em thicker idk yet).

Now friggen Mario. Good lord he was the last one I finished and it should not have been this hard. It’s all minor changed I feel like- I tried to make him still identifiable while still having some differences like the short sleeves, belt, and patches. That and I put his signature M on the gloves too to match SMG4 and SMG3. I was struggling with the mouth (not the cursed one just normal) because sometimes it would look off. Luigi I had more of a problem with though than Mario for whatever reason; maybe it’s the mustache.

Which speaking of Luigi as the final one for the list thing. He definitely gave me turtle neck vibes so I wanted to give him that, plus a belt that has those little bag strap things or whatever you call them to hold stuff like maybe some flower seeds or whatever he needs to. And I only did one of those little drawings with a mouth but when I tried doing it for the others it felt off. Probably for future drawings with these refs I’ll add mouths or won’t depending on the mood.

Reminder that this is how bummys talk about Oliver and worse. Let's not forget some of them also made a 4hr podcast months ago saying awful stuff about him, all because he was posting about hanging out with Ryan and not Lou. They've also been repeatedly calling him biphobic/homophobic because he said Buck should get to explore his sexuality more and have sex.

Some of these people used to be Buddie shippers but the truth is they never really cared about Oliver or Buck. They have the nerve to call us fetishists when a lot of us have been shipping two best friends for years who we just want to see take their relationship to the next level. The main draw for them with b/t is wanting to see two guys they think are hot together because it certainly wasn't about Buck and his happiness. They weren't ever looking at his scenes with Tommy thinking is this really the best relationship for Buck? They've always been more concerned with Tommy and wanting him to be a permanent fixture on the show. Almost immediately after 704 some of them were calling him Buck's endgame. Even though we were shown time and time again how much Tommy was never the right person for Buck.

Now that their ship is over they've inevitably turned on Oliver and are blaming him for it even though at the end of the day the person who made that decision was Tim.

Also and this is something I really really wish bummy stans would get through their heads, actors are allowed to have personal opinions about the media they act in. Oliver has said he's a fan of 911 so I'm sure he watches the show. It's clear from many things he's said that he genuinely cares about Buck every bit as much as we do. So acting like he's not allowed to have preferences for the show and for Buck just makes no sense. He's connected to Buck in a way none of us are so if anyone should get to have thoughts on Buck's story it should be him. He's allowed to like or dislike a ship or a storyline. I know it sucks if an actor that's part of a ship you like doesn't support that ship but it does happen.

Oliver has supported Buddie for years and been very transparent that he wants to see it happen. He was never going to become the captain of the b/t ship. He's never really been super supportive of any of Buck's other ships nor does he have to be. Oliver has always been respectful towards his co-stars and fans and always given respectful answers about Buck's past ships in interviews and that's all he's really required to do.

It's honestly baffling how bummy stans continue to play the victim and continue to try and come up with all these reasons for why they think Oliver is a bad person for not supporting their ship and Lou. The reality is b/t was never meant to last. Oliver knew this and didn't want to lead anyone on. It's also very likely that Lou didn't get along with the cast especially given how they went out of their way to say goodbye to Callum and there was nothing for Lou. Not to mention Oliver very deliberately leaving Lou out of his photography spoke volumes.

I also think Oliver saw at least some of the drama online this year both from b/t stans and from Lou and it made him less likely to engage with that part of fandom. Bummy fans spent a not insignificant amount of time this year saying terrible sometimes racist things about Ryan and Eddie (like telling Ryan he should have finished the job when he talked about his s*icide attempt). Ryan is clearly someone that Oliver cares a lot about so if he saw any of this I'm sure it didn't endear him to those fans. On top of that they continually pushed for a guest character, who was never meant to be anything more than a plot device in Buck's story to be a main character and have his own Begins episode.

I'm just really sad and angry that this is the kind of stuff Oliver is having to deal with. Buck's bisexual journey should be this amazing positive thing and bummy stans have repeatedly tried to warp it to be their way or no way. I just really hope that Oliver knows there are so so many of us who love him and appreciate all the work he's done.

was talking about wizards in overmorrow with my friends so i decided to finally draw how i imagine their outfits look like, featuring my only overmorrow wizard oc and he does not think its very cool. weirdo

this is the outfit you get once yuove become an Official Wizard. wyatt doesnt really customize his for obvious reasons but i imagine lots of people do. especially changing the star charm on the hat/the gem holding the cloak together and stuff. theres rpobably alot of really talented people whove completely redone the designs on their cloaks and it can get really intricate and beautiful!! theyre usualyl gold but people make them silver or something too sometimes i think

its mainly purple cos overmororw's magic is represented by the colour purple (and yellow sometimes too) tbh i should have leaned more into this part but i didnt. oh well..i mean wizard outfits are very flexible anyway so,

i imagine theres a bit more simple of an outfit for people who are still learning and havent fully become a wizard yet but il ldraw that again some other time

My Cousin As My Keeper-> Part One

Summary: Aaron inlists the help of Mile's to track you down after you sneak off to a party.

Warnings: Over bearing yandere family tingz.

You really thought you had made a good slip away, making it out the building and onto the streets with out your Dad hearing was quite the feet, so you ran down the pavment to the end of your road where you met your good friend Musa, and together to slid off into the club scene of New York with your brillantly made fake ID's.

Meanwhile, Your Dad Aaron had been chilling on the sofa when you slid off, if it weren't for the TV blaring he might made heard you. It was only when he called for you did he notice, you were being awafully quite.

Aaron: "Hey Y/N, you want some hot coco?"

Still, nothing.

he approached your door cautiously, as if you would pounce out at him at any moment at him, he slowly turns the knob of the door, opening to reveal you asleep in bed, he gose to give you a shake, only to realise it's not you, its a damm pillow.

He then notices your window half open, maybe he should put bars on them.

Meanwhile, Miles is at home, sitting by his drawing board throwing up some concept art, he hears a bing and gose to check his phone.

Now Miles didn't really want to have to go out looking for you, or harass you over text to find you like he had done before, honestly he thought it best just to let you do your thing, but his uncle was so afraid of something happeing to you he would always conact Miles to find you.

And at this point, Miles was like a PI with the sole mission of finding you, and each time he did, at a party, a club or with a guy, espically with a guy he became more frustrated with you, running off for hours at a time, wasting his time to go out and find you.

Sometimes it felt like an attention game, like you would go off and do reckless things for your Dad's, Miles and your Aunt ad Uncle's attention, like going off with a guy you barley knew while drunk, or sleeping over at stranges house.

Sometimes it felt like hide n seek.

And to be honest, beacuse he always won, and I mean always, pulling you out that guys car by your hair, or breaking into that strangers house waking you up and pulling you back home, he kinda liked playing, as long as he got their in time before you actually did something stupid.

So the game begins.

Brandon was the protective type, is Stella was at a party, he was there, looming over her like tree.

And they were mutuals on Snapchat.

He logs back on his phone and onto snapchat where he see's Brandon has his Snap maps on... and he sees you on Brandon's story, danicng on a damm table drunk, again.

He types the adress in his phone and begins to walk to the house in question.

Eventually he find's himself outside a tall block, the top floor was bright flashing lights, to he climbs the fire escape and slinks into the house, sourounded by his peers drinking, smoking or other he scans the room for you, or at least Stella since she should know where you are, in theroy.

And he did spot her.

Her bright blonde hair sitting on Brandon's lap, sipping on something. he walks up to her, and as soon as Stella see's him, she's rolling her eyes, and whipsers to Brandon.

Miles: "Ay Stella, You know where Y/N is?"

Stella: "Miles, what the hell is wrong with you?" She said clapping between each word.

Stella leanded over to her boyfriend.

Stella: "this is the weird creepy cousin I told you about"

Stella: "The one that keeps ruining all our fun"

Brandon stood up, he's only a few inches taller than Mile's but he notices.

Stella: "He's the guy to broke into Bloom's house and dragged Y/N like a crazy person"

He stand's between Stella and Miles.

Miles: "I'm not trying to start anything, I just need to get my cousin and go"

Brandon: "Maybe she dosen't want to with you?" He says, stepping closer to Miles..

Mile's know he can take him, he's spiderman for god's sake he could snap him, put he dosen't want to create problems.

Just as Brandon gets a bit too close to Miles, he feel's its about to happen...

Miles: "come ON" He says, grabbing your wrist.

Y/N: "NO" You rip your hand from his.

Miles: "Y/N, I will call my Dad and have him shut this whole thing down unless you come with me, and everyone here will hate you, beacuse it will be your damm fault so lets go"

Defeated and blackmailed, you began to stumble out with him, sadly waving Stella goodbye and she swore off Miles.

Stella: "Youre a fucking werido Miles!"

Once outside, you are so drunk you flop onto the floor.

Miles: "Jesus Y/N, why do you do this?"

Y/N: "Just leave me here to die" You groan.

Miles: "Come on now, get up"

Y/N: "Ruined my night"

Miles sighs to himself, before he starts to drag you by your feet.

He could carry you, but no.

Eventually when the hard pavement floor began to scrape away at your face, you pull yourself and and slowly walk with Mile's back home.

With every stumble and fall back Mile's is there to catch you, to pull you back up, as you lean your head onto his arm for support. And eventually when you two made it home, he helped you up the stairs and into the your bed, plopping you down as the alchohol took it's effect whisking you to sleep, he tucked you in as his Uncle Aaron emegred into your doorway.

Miles: " she's unconcious, no point to scould her now, wait till morning when she has a hangover"

Aaron: "She looks like a damm clown with all that makeup on" he mumrred before disapearing down the hall.

And he was right, he could your foundation on the pillow, your smuged gloss and masscara running down your face.

So he went off into your bath room to soak a makeup remover pad, and while you were alseep began to wipe away your makeup. He knew it was strange, but also knew your skin would be in a state if he didn't.

So he wiped off all the makeup, and really all he wanted to do was share the bed with you, stay up late and whipser to each other like you used to, before you two grew apart. But he knew it would upset you if you woke up next to him suddently.

He wondered if she'd remember this tonight, of it would be a black out like so many other nights.

He wished you good night, and left.

So uh, in this ask , I mentioned how I had made a past ninja of my own but never really drawn him and was just in my head. I did also say that I should draw him as well..

And well.. I did!.. kinda. His design still needs to be worked on! What I drew right now is mostly just a concept, so there is a chance that his design will look different later on once I get to actually draw him the way I want and colored too!

but for some unknown reason, I think of him as him being the next ninja after Mac Antfee. Yes, AFTER. MAC ANTFEE. And I even imagined a few things related to this like NS gets to know about Mac Antfee’s story in the Nomicon and how he was as the ninja before he got chosen, ofc he didn’t like the guy and how he acted, so he promised himself to never end up like him… and all that crap

- He adores music. He is a singer himself, AND a dancer. What kind of music does he do? Anything really! He doesn’t really give a damn, every music genre is cool with him. But the kinds of music he enjoys doing, and even uses in battle sometimes, is pop and rock bbyy.

- Yes, this bro literally uses music, along with dancing, in battle sometimes! Like while he fights, he might do some dance moves or sing a tune here or there. He may or may have not also used a guitar as a weapon a few times, even used a camera used for movies ‘once’-

Im gonna be real, the best art advise anyone can give you is to use references and to break complicated stuff down into easier shapes. for example:

this is my basic body skeleton! i always start with the circle of the head and work my way down to the feet. i have highlighted some part of the body which are actually just simple shapes.

the center line down the middle of the torso also helps me draw on collars, bra cups, ties, or any other more difficult clothing more accurate!

However i have to ask you, are you comfortable while you draw?

I remember when I first started drawing digital, i was really uncomfortable with the basic set up of my program. The white canvas and the light setting of the program was really bright and irritated my eyes. And the contrast of the pure black I used for drawing wasn't really helping. sketching and doing line art was my least favorite part of drawing because of this.

you don't have to draw on a white canvas, you can also use multiple colours for sketching if you wanted. Once I stoppend using a pure white canvas I noticed i stopped staring at a empty canvas not knowing what i wanted to draw anymore!

also sometimes when a drawing doesn't want to look right, i switch back to traditional. idk why but when my brain sometimes struggles with a specific pose or character design, it comes to me a lot more easier when I switch back onto paper. i guess the change of scenery opens up the creativity again haha.

don't be afraid to simplify stuff, you don't have to draw everything! As long as it still translates to the thing, it should be fine.

but Gradient maps! god how I love my gradient maps, it just makes the colours pop! I never draw without it anymore. I always pick the sunset gradient, put it in Linear light mode and put it on 10% (cus its really saturated on 100%)

usually i have it on while i sketch and line, and turn it off so i can properly colour and shade. i turn it back on at the end again

the clip studio assets has a lot of beautiful stuff in there created from other users. (a good amount for free too) for example I got the lace pattern of my shawl from there. and its really easy to import the downloaded stuff into the program.

now this is a drawing hack that blew my mind when I first saw it! i use it all the time and I just have to share this!

whenever you want to draw something random like sparkles, stars, bubbles, feathers, falling leaves, or anything that you want to float around your characters, position them in the form of a triangle.

its even better if you put two points of the triangle closer together and then the third further away. this makes it look random but still looking appealing to the eye, and not oddly placed.

now that thats out of the way! Fairies! The one thing i struggled with when drawing them first is their hair. I suggest looking through the fop tag to see how other people have drawn them and take inspiration from your favorites and make up your own. (do not trace tho! that should be obvious!)

when I draw hair I think of it separated in two parts, the front and the back. I usually start with the front hair pieces, then draw in the jaw, ears and rest of the head, then continue with the back section of the hair.

the only outliers of this are Timmy and Peri. when I draw Timmy (Ymmit as well) I start with his hat, before drawing his hair. Since I draw Peris hair-swirl over his hairline, i start drawing his upper back hair style first before drawing his head and then his mullet.

wings can also be tricky. the fairy wings i have given then have a more butterfly look. if you also want to base off the wings to real life animals or bugs you can use them flying as references to. Or you could even cut out the wing shape out of paper, fold it in the middle and take pictures in the angle you desire.

I hope this somehow helped, I thought about what could have helped me if I had known it sooner. even if most of these were for generic drawing.

Okay this Gold Cages ‘the night before Sauron leaves for Numenor’ is Heavy so I’m not going to tag people because it’s A Lot and I’m processing some stuff and I don’t want anyone to feel obligated to read that.

Serious TW: rape, possessive abusive behavior, torture references, probably dissociation, Sauron is Really Sauroning.

Elronds first dangerous thought is anger. Bone deep anger and worry - his brothers kingdom, the land where he lay, where his descendants yet lived - isolated from the eldar they might be now and it had hurt, that they would so forget Elros but it was his brothers beloved land. For a moment he wishes to snap back.

He cannot so he makes himself turn from the tower window as Sauron comes fully into the room, schooling his expression.

“My nightingale, in your perch. Sweet one, do you feed the birds?”

Valar help him, not the birds, Elrond thinks. He must give truth for for all that there are not spies within the towers at all times, he can feel them sometimes and he cannot take the chance.

“I do my Lord - but if it pleases you not, I will stop - I merely wished to learn so I might sing for you better.”

“It does please me. My littlest bird, making such a beautiful scene for me - peaceful in his tower tree, singing by the window in such a pretty way so I might hear.”

Sauron grips him too tightly.

“You will not sing when I am gone, my dearest for I will not have others hear your sweet voice.”

(Elrond vows he is going to recite every filthy drinking song and laugh at the dark lord song he knows instead. He’s sure it will make Adar laugh if nothing else and he’s sure the others know more).

On the outside he only nods.

Leaves the marks of teeth upon his neck and Valar help him, Elrond cannot bear it, this gentle possessiveness the way Sauron calls him ‘mine’ and ‘my little nightingale, my little bird, my little star, my jewel’ (his naneth had called him and Elros little stars and later Maglor and Maedhros had called them ‘our brightest stars’ and it hurts, it hurts because that was what those who loved him had called Elrond. Gil-Galad still called him little hope star betimes, though not for a long time - Elrond wonders if the High King still hates him)

Sauron oh so gently has Elrond stroke him as he sits upon the bed and I can’t, I can’t Elrond thinks.

He does. Somehow, perhaps he does think of all the people he loves all the places he has loved or merely the list of the last tasks he had undertaken as a Herald.

There are bruises and it hurts when Sauron takes him, as though the Dark Lord wishes to imprint himself into Elrond and he does it twice. The second time he traces his sigil into Elronds thigh.

“It will fade dearest, but not until I return.”

Celebrimbor knows exactly how this will be when Sauron takes him to the fur by the fire and simply wills their clothes away. So he takes it. And Sauron wishes him to be as he was before so he tries to be, to make sure he is sweet and looking to Sauron for approval and it turns out he loves Celebrimbors curls.

It hurts still. Sauron clearly wishes to imprint himself into his possessions and it hurts.

I cannot bear it Celeborn thinks but he merely manages to smile from his place upon the bed, between Saurons legs.

“Ah but is not sweet to have us solely - so we might be as we should with you - I hope I have done well?”

He makes himself sound worried and it is not entirely feigned. A part of him only wishes it would be over.

“You could never do less my sweet silver prince”

i've been considering doing an AJ au but then i found out that AJC and AJPW are somehow connected and it confused me so I considered rebuilding my au lore from the ground up but then i was wondering if it was doing too much and if i should just make sense of canon i'd like some advice ^w^'

In my personal opinion, I think aus are somewhat meant to be a lot of things; whether it's changing the main story line almost entirely or adding things that you want in there to help the canon out a little. There's not really a right or wrong, as long as it stays true to the canon somehow. Okay let's yap

For example, you could literally go off the canon story entirely and base a whole oc around that canon world, just make sure for others who might wanna look into it know it's still that canon world!

For animal jam however, it's a bit more hard, but it gets easy! Then hard again— it's like a rollercoaster with barely any stops

For my au, P&F, it's a mix of both animal jam worlds (classic and play wild) because even if they're both separate and sometimes the same, they're technically more different than anything story ish wise

But I manage to combine certain elements from each game, making what I truly want from it

But it can't stay like that forever sometimes if the story gets officially updated or adds something that might ruin a plot in your story. So don't really be afraid to make changes if you're wanting to stick with more updated AJ content

Another thing I do for my au is to establish certain characters, events, and most pop-out stories I find intriguing!

I can't say much about this one since my au is still technically a WIP but it's out there.. :]

But anyways, if you're gonna go with what I do, which is use most of the canon story lines and combine it into one just with a pinch of more creativity and some original stuff, I would suggest developing the canon characters and their settings

Depending on what you wanna make for your au, the canon character could have more personality then it's original

I will have to admit, I have done that with some but I keep it close to what their personality is as possible

What I also like to add to canon characters is their own story! Especially for animal jam when you don't really get the right answers.

A good example of what I mean is Greely's adopted family!

It's not much, it barely impacts the story for Jamaa, but it impacts him and his choices later on when he grows :] which is always fun to do!

Let's see... Another thing to help get an au going is by looking at things that would inspire you!

Like other people's aus, songs, even books, hell even the canon stuff might help out!

There is a lot of "canon" animal jam stuff that a lot of people don't really know about like the comics and books for animal jam!

And yeah, there's not a lot of animal jam aus but I have seen some around here and there! Best ones I would look into art pieces for is @bootleggreely , @prztails , and @vioblu-star, they're all really cool artists with interesting stories for animal jam stuff :]

(probably forgetting a whole bunch but yet I wrote this at like 2 am)

Then there's music/songs, the reason why I mentioned such is because it helps me create a scenario in my head when I listen to them! It even help me discover some new ideas I barely knew I could develop!

Another thing to keep in mind is that you don't really have to go all the way with aus, take your time!! It helps a lot, even when you feel stressed over it. Take breaks, you don't always need to focus on animal jam stuff for the au! You don't even need to make a whole book for it, you can just do what I most of the time do and just draw out stuff you like from your stories so far! Even if people don't know the full context!!

Change is always good too! Let me tell you, when I was younger in my animal jam little brain, I had such a mess of a story, now look where it is now! A bit better!

But let's give little me around of applause for predicting Moku'ahi 👏 (this thought still scars me)

Ooo and another thing, if you ever feel doubt in yourself with writing for the au, don't worry about it! You're doing great, but if you want a second opinion or two, ask for it! I'm sure people around you would provide answers if they know animal jam and care about some of the story :] it's always okay to ask for help! Don't be like me who hides in the corner and just writes and draws a lot 🌟

At the end of the day, this is your au, your story, your art pieces, your fun

Character development in HB

(and why it doesn't really happen)

I think another reason why the characters of HB feel flat/underdeveloped is because there are a lot of the same revelations made time and time again, without any real progession. It seems as if the writers assume that writing a character arc is just doing the same stuff just more extreme.

Loona realized that she should appreciate Blitzø more two times already (three times if you count "Spring Broken"). In the Beelzebub episode she cares for him when he got drunk after trying to pick her up from the party. In "Seeing Stars" she tells Octavia that their dads might be annoying sometimes, but they care very deeply actually. We also get some insight into how Blitzø first adopted Loona in "Seeing Stars", when she was in a state of needing someone who takes care of her. Despite all these moments were Blitzø showed great care for her (including "Spring Broken") and despite the moments where she realizes she should be nicer to him, we never see a definitive change in her behaviour. Her helping to take out the C.H.E.R.U.B could be counted as having a new attitude towards her dad, but Millie and Moxxie also followed him, so it's not an exclusive decision she made. And if her not wanting her dad to die is a new trait of hers, then I don't know what I should think of her character to begin with.

Octavia has the exact same conversation about her relationship with her dad twice. In "LooLoo Land" she finds out that Stolas cares more than she realized and that adult relationships are more complicated than she expected. In "Seeing stars" Loona and her talk about how Stolas loves her a lot more than he is able to show. Octavias character is stale and there is never a new conclusion she draws from these experiences.

In another way, Stolas realizes that his daughter feels neglected and he wants to be more present for her, yet after that we never see him spend more time with her and after a few episodes she feels neglected once again.

We get to see some insight into Millies character in "Unhappy Campers". We see that she is pretty insecure in her own worth and needs approval. In some of the leaks for the unreleased ghost episode, Millie apparently is going to try to commit suicide because she feels useless and has insecurities. We get the same revelations for her, just that the second time it's way more intense. But despite this intensity, these deep feelings Millie has never come up until the show sees them as "relevant" (keep in mind this part with Millie is only based on the leaks I saw, take this one with a grain of salt maybe).

In the newest episode Stolas realizes that Blitzø isn't really interested in a deeper relationship with him. Blitzø tells him off, just as he did in "Ozzies" with Stolas coming to a pretty similar conclusion after Blitzø told him off and didn't take the offer to hang out in a non sexual context. He and Blitzø also text, which we see in "Western Energy". Stolas tells Blitzø that he doesn't have to show up to their annual meeting or that they can meet up for other, not sexual stuff. Blitzø never responds enthusiastically or like he is genuinely interested in getting to know Stolas. Stolas has found out that Blitzø isn't really interested in him beyond the deal multiple times. Yet in the newest episode, he acts shocked and saddened, as if this is something he just found out about.

I know that character development takes time and it's not realistic for people to immediately change after having one revelation about their behaviour. In HB however, the character arcs feel like they turn on and off however the show needs them to.

Loona is abusive, annoyed and cynical when the show wants to be funny (that's pretty much the only joke she has). When the show wants to tackle her seriously she becomes a scared, closed off, but still able to be genuine person who realizes that she needs to be better. They want her to become better but they also never let her fully go through with trying to change. Octavia is never seen on screen until the show wants to present Stolas as a better dad than he seems. So she can't progress because then, her whole purpose as a character (as it is now) is defeated. Millie is a seriously insecure person needing of approval in scenarios where they want to have conflict with Moxxie (or make her seem more deep ig) but in other instances we can't see her insecurity, because she also needs to fullfill her purpose of being Moxxies hypewoman and full support. Stolas wants to dial back his sexual side towards Blitzø to make him realize he isn't just interested in their deal. He wants them to be genuine and says himself, that he doesn't like just making their relationship sexual. He makes sexual remarks towards Blitzø in "Seeing Stars" and doesn't show restraint in talking about him sexually in "Western Energy".

The characters feel like they loop around and don't develop because a lot of them are just acting how the plot needs them to act in a specific scenario. That's either because they never get real focus that would help adequately deal with their stuff, or that it's pretty clear that they weren't written with the intention of having big arcs/deeper motivations.

I think the biggest development any character had throughout HB is Stolas realizing he wants more out of his and Blitzø's relationship (even though that came very suddenly) and Fizzarolli and Blitzø becoming friends again (which was also kinda rushed but it's fine). Blitzø in general is one of the better written characters in the show in my opinion and he has some nice moments amd interesting interactions.
