i thought this season, they were trying to make everyone more likeable and found the show to be more optimistic , until the last couple of chapters, when we see everything and everyone are still the same ambicious and conniving bastards we love and hate

Yeah. I actually was shocked that Jackie didn’t support Frank. I mean, he was a complete asshole, but still, i thought her ambition would made her endure Frank’s behavior.

This season was a wild ride for sure. Though i feel like this season Claire was still ambitious but not conniving enough. I don’t know, she used to be so ruthless. Maybe the distance between her and Frank, and the lack of communication between them, affected her ‘skills’ or something.

And Frank is so power hungry, i honestly don’t know what to expect next season. Is he going to force Claire to stay with him just for the sake of appearances? What if he goes crazy and hurts her? I’m scared. :’(
