rememebring when i was a kid and went into whatever elementary grade for the first time and we were given assigned seats based on our last names and i was surrounded by boys. this meant for all group activities and during all the downtime (when we are meant to chat amongst ourselves) i would be the only girl in my area. i raised my hand and asked the teacher if i would be permanently seated there bc i didn’t want to be around a bunch of boys. i cant remember what she said for the life of me but i do remember the feeling of being dismissed.

i rememebr i wrote this down somewhere but 2 me he realized he was queer of some sort when he went to one of his sisters friends quinceanera and made out w the birthday girls older cousin behind the venue ... this was when he was like , a highschooler in arizona still . after this he was liek Hmm i think somethings up . he didnt act on these feelings until he was hitchhiking to jess' apartment like years later tho ..... not much else 2 think abt besides how you might be gay for your friendon the open road and such .

with his gender i think he always kindve knew , early on his dad kindve picked up on it and went "heyy y. i dont mind if you ... experiment . with your gender . yoru still my kid all the same 😁" to rei who, at the time, went "? Ok (doesnt think about this encounter until years later)". its also a main reason (2 me ) as to why connor bullied him a bit - in my brain milwaukee is a pretty ... closed minded town , so its only natural people would spread their bigotry onto their children < which is why when connor saw how rei was like "im a MAN" but (in connors mind) didnt make any "real" effort into presenting masc , he 1 thought rei was just doing it for attention and 2 sought out to "fix" him ....... < cornering him and cutting his hair along w just. until he was around middleschool he only really had the support of his dad < his mother being a devout catholic whereas his dad was laid back and also queer himself . after he died and they moved back to arizona rei just kindve caved in on himself and gave up on any presentation gender or sexuality wise ... until one day he felt too suffocated by it all nd went back to the one place he ever really Did feel accepted < milwaukeeeeee 😁and by extension jess nd ashe . the latter i dont know if they met later but i think their presence helps rei greatly ... nervous cheetah and emotional support dog type thang . when hes back w the gang he feels pretty comfortable w them and while he still has his moments of doubt from time to time he still feels confident that theyll never judge him (which they wouldnt thankfully). ave maria

6. How does your oc feel about labels? Theirs, or in general?

he would rather be gutted like a fish than talk about labels ... i dont think he feels all that comfortable w himself to say hes for sure gay ... and as for being trans , he keeps that shit LOCKED UP !!! very stealth with it ... even if being called a woman bothers him hed rather just take it and smile than out himself and risk being harassed . as he gets older he just stops gaf. i think hed just call ashe up randomly one day nd go "Hey .im gay." and then just hang up . theyd understand

8. Have they had struggles with their identity, be it due to internal or external reasons?

hes the prime struggler and transgender allegory ... if hes not actively repressing his feelings for guys then hes trying as hard as he can to come off as a cis guy . i think it stems from the hostile environment milwaukee generally is as well as internal stuff < after his dads passing his mom blamed his homosexuality for it and deemed him a sinner ... her side of the family also just talked shit abt him a lot 😭this diswayed rei Greatly from ever being open . even in his 20s i think despite him being more cool w being gay nd stuff hed still be a little nervous ... i dont think his anxiousness abt it would ever go away for realsies , but with time he wouldnt think abt it too much 👍

Okay. 

*Deep breath* 

I think I’m finally calm enough to put into words exactly why I hated the finale and why I wasn’t completely surprised that I hated it. 

(Heads-up: this is really long and pretty negative. If you disagree, I would of course appreciate your point of view and love to hear it, but just thought I’d let you know in case this is the kind of post you would like to avoid.)

To me, it felt like every character on the show got betrayed in some way or another, but the main ones are Han Seo (devastatingly), Chayoung (obviously) and Han Seok (bear with me). 

Cha Young: 

She started out as a solid FL who annoyed some people for sure, but who had so much promise as someone unconventional and bold. The way her mother’s death affected her and caused a clear shift in her personality was a super interesting plot point that really never got explored. We have no idea how she came to sacrifice her morality in joining Wusang, just that she wanted to spite her father, which is a very superficial exploration. She gets cute idiosyncrasies in lieu of an actual character and an actual character arc. 

We also, halfway through the show, seem to forget that her father's death was the initial trigger. Cha young does not suggest bold ideas or intricate plans, she doesn’t fill the gaps Vincenzo is incapable of filling (because that would require that Vincenzo have flaws, and that’s not something the writers can abide), and she’s literally victimized in episode 19 and bedridden in episode 20, and that is IT. 

Someone who started out supposedly as Vincenzo’s equal just became another piece in his chess set, no matter how important a piece she may be. 

So her role as a badass avenger is trashed. That leaves her role as a love interest. Now, as Vincenzo’s love interest, she was supposed to get kidnapped in like episode 5 or 6 at the most if the villain has any brains whatsoever (Han Seok may or may not, more on that later). We need a reason for that not to happen too early. Cue villain is somehow in love with her for all of 15 minutes or so throughout a 20-episode series because a love triangle is inconceivable with the show’s current structure and for its purposes. 

So, she spends 15 or so episodes making the first move on Vincenzo, every time, putting herself out there, creating cute moments, getting nothing in return, and then he leaves. No confession, nothing much, he wasn’t even going to say goodbye or give her the choice of coming with him. 

I’m sure more chayenzo-oriented fans have already expressed all the necessary outrage over this, so I’ll move on to the part that I’ve personally been way more emotionally invested in from the get go: the Jang brothers. 

Han Seo: 

I was among the minority that  hated the “Vinny hyung” angle from the get-go and I’ve ranted about it in another post, so I won’t get into it here in-depth, but basically it was because I felt like Vincenzo hadn’t earned it, so to have the last words Han Seo hears be “You deserve to be my brother” or whatever the fuck he was on about PISSED ME OFF. It’s VINCENZO who doesn’t deserve to be Han Seo’s brother and hasn’t done a single thing to earn it. He was a good ally. The situation he allowed Han Seo to be a part of was beneficial to him, but Han Seo’s attachment to him was neither healthy nor heartwarming, and it certainly wasn’t returned on the level he offered it.

Vincenzo’s disregard of his death didn’t strike me as odd because I never saw enough indications that this was a two-way street and Han Seo’s safety and well-being came second so often that I didn’t get the impression Vincenzo was doing much to keep him alive. This is what I meant when I said the show was glorifying a torture survivor’s trauma responses. Han Seo himself, as a torture survivor, meant nothing to them. He was just there to create one more contrived comparison between Vincenzo and Han Seok. Instead of recovering from the trauma, it’s simply employed to someone else’s favor. He doesn’t go to prison for Han Seok, he takes a bullet for Vincenzo, and we’re supposed to see that as so much better.

All of that might (JUST MIGHT) not have ruined the show for me if he’d died better. 1) It was narratively pointless and totally avoidable, 2) they could’ve framed it as heroic, but instead Han Seok’s hand patting his head is pushing it down, so he can’t even get shot with his chin up and his back straight, Taec’s already taller, so the angle’s fucked and the whole cinematography screamed “kicking an injured puppy” and most certainly NOT “survivor finally stands up to his abuser”. The final nail in the proverbial and literal coffin is that he is mourned by no one. They’re FLIRTING not 3 MINUTES LATER, it felt so tone deaf and left such a bad taste. As I said, I didn’t expect significant mourning from Vincenzo (gotta say, I didn’t expect no mourning, that was a shocker), and Cha young and the tenants had no real interactions with him and no reason to mourn him, which left only one person who could. 

Which brings me to Han Seok. 

Han Seok started out as a solid villain, clear goals, clear skills that help him achieve his goals and basically make him a villain worth defeating, and a very complex relationship with both his own psychopathy and his brother. 

Let me get it out of the way: I do not believe Han Seok is capable of killing Han Seo because he had every reason and every opportunity to do so in previous episodes and couldn’t do it (I say couldn’t because a certain degree of reluctance is in itself inability). Han Seo’s danger far outweighed his material value the minute he shot Han Seok and then completely lost any value once he came out to the world as the chairman and it became clear that the prosecution would be going after him if anything happened, and not his brother. But time and again, he’s proven he’s all bark and no bite when it comes to Han Seo (killing-wise, specifically). 

The scene where he asks him to beat Vincenzo to death could be interpreted as him wanting to give Vincenzo the “painful death” he would have given him, but honestly, I think he was way past that point. He just wanted him dead in the “You crazy? we have to kill him before he kills us” sense. To that end, killing off a key ally of Vincenzo’s, who betrayed you and almost got you killed a bunch of times, should take priority, but Han Seok’s priority is reclaiming Han Seo by forcing him back onto his side. Now, much like his “love for Cha young”, Han Seok’s keenness on not killing his brother was essential to the writers so that Han Seo can justifiably make it this far and still be useful to Vincenzo (he can’t help if Han Seok completely excludes him from all events, plans and management processes, so Han Seok needs to want to keep him on his side enough not to do that even when it’s more prudent). 

All of this isn’t to say it’s unbelievable that he would kill Han Seo, but it’s DEFINITELY unbelievable that he would stay the same man after killing him. Someone here (I’m sorry, I don’t rememebr who) once said that Han Seo had become, over time, far more of a foil to his brother than Vincenzo was. To me, this means that Post-Han Seo Han Seok would be out of balance (tilted screen), unhinged in a way he never was before. The Han Seok we see shrugs and “oh, well”-s and moves on in a flash, not really any different from the villain he was four minutes and a whole brother earlier. 

This is very consistent with the way the show has been de-humanizing him from the start. I’m not saying this to defend Han Seok in any way, he’s a serial killer, an abuser and a total maniac. But you can be all those things and still a human being. In fact, you can ONLY be those things if you’re a human being. The show used its villain vs villain idea to justify a lot, but in the end, Vincenzo had to be a protagonist. He had to follow up every “I’m a villain” with a contrived “but at least I’m not (insert something worse)”. 

On the level of humans:

1) Vincenzo is supposedly different because he doesn’t hurt children or women (unless the women deserve it, and shooting a parent in front of their kid doesn’t count as hurting.) 

But we never see Han Seok hurting women or children either. In fact, if we proceed with the “chayoung is the myung hee of the good guys” comparison, he hasn’t hurt any women nearly as badly as Vincenzo did. 

2) Babel vs Mafia 

Babel’s corruption is compared a lot to the mafia, with Vincenzo commenting repeatedly that the people are WORSE than the mafia...which is bullshit. Babel is a set of companies that provide goods and services, but use illegal means to maximize their profit, so they hurt/kill people in the process because they want more money and care about money more than ethics. The Mafia is an inherently criminal organization that functions PURELY on the basis of its criminality. Every single dime Vincenzo spends is blood money. None of it is clean. And while we’re on the topic, I find the whole “taking Miri under his wing” thing pretty unreasonable too because he tried to have her killed you guys, I cannot believe we’re just glossing over that. He had everyone who worked on that vault killed, just random fucking construction workers. And he’s not sorry. And the show tells you he shouldn’t be. 

3) Repentance

Han Seok says outright he won’t atone, and while Vincenzo says no such thing out loud he just...doesn’t repent, I guess. He keeps the blood money, he goes back to being a full-time mafia dude doing mafia things. He leaves the same man he arrived. 

So, if on the level of harm inflicted upon humanity, Vincenzo and Han Seok are pretty much equal (and Vincenzo might actually be worse), then why should we root for Vincenzo? 

Well, my friend, that’s where the dehumanization comes in! 

I was initially very excited to see their portrayal of a psychopath because of the very interesting ways in which the informal moral code and official justice system surrounding a psychopath/sociopath/narcissist affect their behavior and their chances of not turning out rotten, and the show looked like it was looking at corruption in general. 

But as the show went on, the villain vs villain thing proved not to be enough, Vincenzo has to be better in some way (or if you’re as obsessed with him as the writers are, then ALL ways), so it became a villain vs monster narrative. Vincenzo isn’t ethical or fair or in any way interested in having a remotely positive impact on society, but at least he’s A HUMAN BEING unlike SOMEBODY. So, the characterization goes to shit, Han Seok becomes a cartoon card-board cut out of a villain and emphasis is put on how pointless his violence is, as opposed to how purposeful Vincenzo’s is. 

This is dangerous on multiple levels (and I promise this is the last point I’m making). 

1) For people in general, dehumanizing abusers/murderers/etc. makes us very liable to forget that you don’t have to be “a monster” to cause harm, and it makes people complacent in their belief that they are “not bad people” since they aren’t total monsters. The Banality of Evil is a thing, and in this series, it goes completely ignored. No one is inherently incapable of good or inherently undeserving of humanity. 

2) For victims of abuse in specific, it’s dangerous to portray abusers (including serial killer and non-serial killer ones) as entirely bad and unlovable, because it poses the dual risk of making victims less likely to acknowledge their abuse if it comes from someone who cares about or loves them on some level because the idea that someone cannot both love and hurt you is so stereotypical. Your abuser can genuinely want you in their lives and need you and, on some level, love you, and IT DOESN’T MATTER if that love doesn’t stop them from hurting you. 

On the other hand, portraying the victims of abuse as capable of flipping an off switch and hating the abuser with no hesitation or second thoughts to the point of unapologetically and cheerfully helping someone kill them and having no mixed feelings about it sends the message that if you CAN’T do that, then are you really abused? Are sure you’re not complicit in your own abuse? Do you even want to get rid of them? 

So this is basically why the way the show ended was so painfully disappointing for me. And the main reason it hit so hard was that it was initially so good and had so much promise. I really expected more.

Eda is Luz’s mom, King is the “lone wolf” lady, and Hooty is the friend who’s had three divorces. He, too, has had three divorces. Noone knows who they were, except, maybe Lilith. WHich is weird, considering Hooty is the Island Deamon, and hasn’t been anywhere in several decades. He keeps saying they were grand beautiful weddings,, but like... noone remembers going??

Raine left the island to go be in the coven and takes the role of “Divorced Man”. She does have kids - the Batts kids.

Luz’s Mom - i can’t rememebr her name rn - is the guy who ends up being gay. This changes nothing about the story, considering everyone in this is queer.

Belos. Is the other one. Eda maintains that this was a major mistake and then proceeds to ignore him the rest of the movie.

Hunter is there, and he is Luz’s brother but he’s just in the background chillin. He gets to relax. His only contribution is looking less and less confused every time everyone breaks out into song until he eventually just keeps going about his business in the middle of a dance number.

Okay so, Luz and Amity are getting married and are planning to leave to the human realm (this still takes place on an island - im thinkgin some magic logic closer to Wonder Woman Island) on their honeymoon, but invites Eda’s three exes to play matchmaker. She doesn’t really have a conflict about her second parent, though i might shoehorn in some conflict about asking Eda to walk her down the aisle.

The main conflict is that Belos keeps trying to ruin the wedding, but this is happening mostly in the background with romance shennagians being most of the movie. This conflict may solve itself with belos falling off a cliff or smth.

Honestly it's mind-boggling how tragic shinobi is as a character. He was abused as a kid. Gets powers in early adulthood and his finally able to fight back. "Kills" his abuser and then.... Well he drinks a lot and is clearly unhappy.

He's usual shown either alone or with (implied) paid escorts. We see him proposition Warren and later Roberto, desperate for some actual company. Someone (I think Justice?) literally pretends to befriend him just to spy on him because it is literally that easy.

He drinks all the time. He's miserable. He's alone. I know "redemption arcs" weren't the forgone conclusion that they are now back when this was written but it seems like such an obvious choice? The boy is barely a villain, clearly a victim, and just so obviously sympathetic

Chloe knew she was hopeless romantic and maybe just a bit too optimistic, but she couldn’t help the fact that she wanted to see the best in everything and everyone. It had gotten her into trouble in the past, the whole situation with her father making her just a bit wary of anyone for a while, but she couldn’t help the way that she trusted far too easily. She was always the one to fall too fast and too hard in her relationships and she just found it better to steer clear from them most of the time, it got her in far less trouble. That was until she met Sunwoo.

Chloe and Sunwoo had known each other by proxy for a little over a year before they actually became close to one another, Kevin and Felix being big reasons for that. They had seen each other at quite a few hang outs between fellow 2000-liners and had even greeted each other backstage when Chloe would sneak back into music shows to watch any of her friends performing. They were never close, but fate had seemed to keep them at arm's length from each other.

It wasn’t until Kevin invited Chloe over for a ‘friendly gathering’ as he called it, though that was really just an excuse for them to throw a rager celebrating their first win. Chloe wasn’t one to refuse a party, and she definitely wouldn’t say no when most of her friends were already invited anyway. 

The party wasn’t anything special, just a normal house party that Chloe had really only seen on TV before her hiatus, though she definitely wasn’t going to be giving up the chance at free booze, especially in a place she knew there would be no prying cameras around for once. The party lasted for what felt like hours and Chloe knew she was going to wake up with a massive hangover the next day and she didn’t realize the need to call it quits until she watched Chan try ITZY’s debut choreography, while being absolutely plastered. On any normal night, Chloe would have stayed and laughed with the rest of the crowd, but she could feel herself being sentimental and she knew she needed to get out. She put on the best fake smile she could manage (something that she had gotten incredibly good as since her hiatus had started) and pushed her way through the crowd, feeling a pair of eyes on her as she walked away, though she refused to look back to see who’s prying eyes they were.

She wandered around the dorm, hoping to find one of the bathrooms, which was always much easier to find in a sober state and while she was trying to keep her mind off of the many thoughts whirling in her mind. Chloe couldn’t stop herself from wondering about the what-ifs all the time, what if she hadn’t been a solo artist and she had actually debuted in a group like she had originally planned? She misses the bond that she shared with her close friends when they were trainees, the late night talks of them wondering if they would be able to stand on that stage together one day. Chloe wasn’t dumb, she knew there was no chance she would debut in TWICE when she was part of Sixteen, but she thought the promotions were about the group that would be formed after, not for her solo debut. Part of her always wondered if she had just been the one that they saved and kept for ITZY if she would be in the situation she was in now. Would her father still have tried to reach out? Maybe it would have happened, but it wouldn't have been when she was so young and impressionable where it left a mark on her that she can’t seem to shake, a mark that makes her scared of even stepping on stage again.

Chloe wasn’t sure how long she had been standing in the hallway, how long she had been lost in her own thoughts, when a hand came out and rested on her shoulder, making her jump slightly. She whipped her head around to see a concerned looking Sunwoo staring back at her. He said nothing, instead just pulled her into one of the rooms in the dorm, effectively cutting off a lot of the sound coming from outside, letting Chloe’s head finally clear just a bit.

“Are you okay?” he questioned lightly, keeping a good bit of distance between the two of them. Even from Chloe’s intoxicated state, she could tell that the boy was nowhere near sober with the way he was swaying slightly as he watched her. “Jisung saw you leave and he seemed worried.”

“I’m fine,” Chloe smiled. “The music just got a bit too much for me for a second there.”

Sunwoo nodded, but Chloe could tell that he wasn’t convinced, not in the slightest. “Do you want to talk about it?” he leaned forward slightly and smiled a bright, drunk smile. “I hear talking things out with an unbiased third party is a pretty good option.”

Chloe looked at him for a long, hard minute, trying to figure out if the boy was serious or not. She rolled her eyes and thought fuck it, the boy was probably drunk enough where he wouldn’t rememebr it in the morning anyway, and started spilling. She told him about everything involving her father and how she was so scared to step on stage again, maybe it was because she was out of practice, or maybe it’s because the last time she stepped on stage was what led her father to her, but she can never be too sure. She talked and talked about things that she was even too scared to tell her own mother or any of her closest friends and Chloe found out that for a drunk guy, Sunwoo was surprisingly good at listening. She also found out that it was nice to finally let it all out.

Sunwoo let her talk, only interjecting whenever he felt fit and even started to talk about his own problems and Chloe sat there and listened intently, happy to listen and even help if that’s what he wanted. Though Chloe found out quite quickly that Sunwoo liked to rant, let out his feelings without the thought of actually having to fix them.

The two stayed in the small cramped room, and honestly, Chloe wasn’t sure who’s room it was at this point, talking for hours. Somewhere along the way they dropped the rants and it turned into just funny stories about their childhood. Chloe was in the middle of the one time her mom had tried to bake a cake for her birthday, almost setting their small apartment on fire in the process, when Chan burst through the door, a concerned look on his face.

“Chloe! There you are!” he sighed, a bright smile that would have made fifteen year old Chloe swoon, adoring his face. “We’re about to head out, you wanna walk about with us?”

Chloe looked back at Sunwoo once more, seeing the boy look about ready to fall asleep sitting up, before turning back to Chan and getting up to her feet. “I guess so, Yerim would kill me if I stayed out too much longer.”

Chan nodded lightly, knowing the wrath of Chloe’s manager first hand when she stayed out at the studio far too late trying to keep Chan company as he stressed over songs for one of their comebacks. After that night, Chan was quick to pull the plug on things before it got too late.

“Bye Sunwoo,” she waved back at the other boy, smiling brightly. “See you later.”

Sunwoo nodded and pulled himself up to a bed that Chloe could only assume was his own as the other two made their way out the door. Chloe couldn’t stop the bright smile on her face and the small bit of butterflies in her stomach as she made her way back to her dorm, ignoring the strange glances from some of the other boys she was walking with.

Chloe’s not sure when their relationship went from casual talks and letting off steam  by ranting about their lives, to whatever they have now, but she’s not sure she’s complaining about it. Chloe knows what happened to turn them into this, getting a little bit too drunk one night, while talking about how hard it was to meet anyone as an idol (Chloe’s dating ban had just lifted and she was a bit frustrated), led to the slightly younger boy leaning in and placing his lips against hers. Chloe knew how it happened, but she’s not sure when it went from just friends to something more, when it went from one kiss to much, much more than that. All Chloe knew is that she was in far too deep and she wanted far more in this relationship than what she could only assume Sunwoo did.

There were times that Chloe was sure Sunwoo wanted the same thing as her. The late night chats, where Sunwoo would look at her like she was the only girl in the world. The sweet words he would whisper to her when they would fall into bed together. The times that he would initiate the two of them hanging out with each other. Those times everything felt so, so real and Chloe could feel her hopes rising with each smile from the slightly younger boy.

Chloe felt her hopes soar when Sunwoo offered to come and watch her comeback stage, saying he wanted to come and support two of his friends. Chloe never really asked her friends to come and support her stages, only a handful of them coming to visit in the years she had been in the industry, so to say that Chloe was excited to see Sunwoo sitting in the waiting room with her and Jisung, would be an understatement. 

“Chloe we have to head down,” Jisung’s voice rang through the room, causing Chloe’s eyes to finally move away from where they were trained on Sunwoo’s position as he played some game on his phone. Jisung had been uncharacteristically quiet today, rather than any of the days they had been recording and practicing for this comeback, Chloe just figured that he was nervous for recording without the rest of Stray Kids.

The older girl nodded, standing from her position, smoothing down the front of her dress as she made her way across the room.

“Good luck!” Sunwoo yelled out, smiling brightly, only causing the older to smile back at him as she made her way out the door.

The two walked quietly, all of Chloe’s backup dancers going up ahead of the two since they needed some final touch ups done on their makeup. “You nervous?” Chloe spoke up in the almost awkward silence that never seemed to fall over them before.

“Huh?”

“You just seem kind of out of it today, I thought you might be nervous,” Chloe shrugged.

“I mean I guess, don’t you get nervous before you perform?” he questioned, hitting his microphone against his hand.

“Not really,” she answered with a small shrug. “Only like big performances, I guess.”

“Shouldn’t every performance be a big performance?” Jisung questioned, tilting his head slightly. The thought made Chloe stop in her tracks, thinking it over just a bit longer. Jisung noticed her stop walking and turned to shoot her a questioning look.

“I guess so,” she smiled back at him, walking forward and grabbing his arm and pulling him down the hallway so they wouldn’t be late.

Coming down from the high she got from being on stage always took a few minutes. The performance had gone well, fantastic even, and it always was a rush to have a near perfect performance. Chloe had wasted no time pulling Jisung into a tight hug after the performance and Chloe wasn’t even sure if the camera had finished rolling or not (it hadn’t). 

They walked back to the waiting room all smiles and Chloe couldn't wait to see what Sunwoo had thought of the performance. Everyone was loud and excited, the feeling of a perfect start to the era lifting everyone’s mood.

The smile didn’t fall off of Chloe’s face until she saw Sunwoo exiting one of the many bathrooms in the building, a familiar head of deep green hair following suit. She could feel her heart fall into her stomach as she watched the two walk away from each other, not paying the large group of people just down the hallway from them, Sunwoo slipping out of sight and into Chloe’s waiting room.

Chloe felt a hand on her shoulder, rubbing it soothingly in an almost conforming manner, though she couldn’t find it in herself to be soothed by it. She could feel her heart breaking, cursing herself for getting her hopes up when she knew nothing was going to happen between them.

WandaVision Theory

Okay so this contains some spoilers (mostly specculation really) from wanda vision so... spoilers below cut.

We have all seen the casting for Spiderman 3 & Doctor strange 2.... It includes people like: Andrew Garfield (spiderman) Tobey Maguire (Spiderman) Xochitl Gomez (America Chavez) Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool) Tom Hiddleston (Loki) Among others.... lots of universes being mixed here guys. So I have a theory... Blame my friend for this thing being birthed she had to listen to this as it came out. Peter/Pietro (since xmen pietro is called peter, but wanda knows his as pietro) maximoff is Loki, last we saw loki he had the tesseract and was fleeing, loki is trying to find out the state of the awvengers post end game, and yeah loki likes to fuck with thor & in the comics he lovveeesss just winding people up (God of mischief ffs), so he is trying to find out what the fuck is going on, he is curious about wanda's level of powers (like she is one of the most powerful mcu characters, hes gunna be curious), wanda as we know has a town hostage and is controlling everything, this is similar to avenegrs where loki wanted to rule earth, so hes seeing if she could be of use to him/try figure out a way to get his end goal. End of wanda vision season 1 - wanda looses complete control, she snaps. She breaks the multi verse because she has been believing this pietro is her pietro but with a different face... she finds out it is loki in pietros body which causes her to loose total control and snap a rift in the multi verse OR sword cause her so much stress, vision is questionign everything/realises what wanda did (Sees the footage maybe?) or she has to watch him die again and wanda is so torn over by emotion that she looses control, pietro/loki then realises that oh fuck this is about to go down and wanda uses her powers to try control more and either knocks pietro loki back into loki for or loki shifts just before to do a reveal, he may even try and fix this and help wanda because he knows intense powers and notice she is going insane????? But this ends in her bringing in all the spidermen into the MCU. Bringing deadpool with em. Bringing america chavez with them (She lives in a paralel universe and thats where she got her powers so wanda drags her into MCU because hey, she snapped). Doc strange 2 happens which is about the multi verse. Strange appears at end of wanda vision kinda like "Oh no...." like he's seeing what is about to happen and sees wanda is about to cause he doesnt see this coming,  So doc strange 2 is now begining wanda has lost control and merged all theses universes into one - sony,fox,the new characters universe etc etc etc are now all in the MCU universe there is many spider men now (Like into the spider verse) kidna like that level of how it happens they just got ripped into this reality. In spider man 3 this is also playing a part because all the spidermen are still here (Showing this could be a long winded issue/they cant get back to their universe because wanda doesnt know how she did it, doesnt want to do it/cant do it again) Back to doc strange 3 - this movie will be directly dealing with the immediate backlash of this, the many spidermen, deadpool, america chavez all appearing, strange realising what has happened, trying to fix this, loki also there because he doesnt even know whats happened but DAMN is he interested because THIS level of power.... thats interesting to him. Loki's disney+ series happens after the multi verse of madness/during it (like loki's show is bought up in it like "lokis fucking president?!?!?!" like thats another thing thats gone wrong from wanda's melt down and destroying the multi verse, and another thing for strange to to and do damage control on. wanda cant fix this, shes now gone fully off rails, if she watches vision die twice she wont be coming back from that we know. so strange is also trying to help her on how to use her powers as she never reallllly has had training, strange might know people who can help her deal with this insane amount of power. Strange cant fix this alone he needs wanda to try and fix this, and the issue could be a permenant one ( i recon it will be permenant and all wwhat phase 4 & 5 will be about) Doctor strange 2 sees them going between thesee multi verse's they have discovered (maybe strqange & wanda, maybe strange & wong, maybe wanda and someone else who knows... but they are trying to find out how far this damage has gone End of doctor strange is them realising this isnt a quick fix, the world has gone insane as there is all these new ones, ("WHY ARE THERE 3 SPIDER MEN!" - JJJ shouts (cause hey he was in the tobey mcguire spidermen ffs we get him with this package too) spider man 3 then happens & tom holland (The spider men will be refered to by their actors names) see's that um theres another spider man??? what the??? he finds him and they all find out they are the same spider man. This movie plays out similary to into the spiderverse but they dont all go at the end of it because this is a long winded issue. But... now we have america chavez, shes just been bumbling round the MCU being a hero cause she's here.... Monica as you rememebr from wanda vision has her internal sequencing rewritten each time she goes through the hex, this gives her powers cause she has gone through the hex so much at this stage in wanda vision.... So Monica = Photon America Chavez Cassie = Stature Kate bishop = Hawkeye Tom holland = Spiderman How did kate get here and Cassie? KATE So clint stepped down, hawkeye disney+ seems to be like fractions, clints training kate (maybe his family left after end game because jfc clint is probs a wreck, or clint didnt stop so hsi wife left.... maybe they live in iowa happily who knows) Clint was going solo for a while in newyork, when he met this other hawkeye (Hey maybe kate got dragged through the multi verse or maybe she was just a great archer rich kid in newyork who saw hawkeye had fucked off after the blip (maybe she was working during the blip, but towards the end? in comics she took hawkeye mantle while clint was off beign a depressed noodle and he then found out there was 2 hawkeyes and confronted ehr and agreed to train her so maybe somehting simialr to this is what happens in hawkeye) But anyway Clints training kate in new york and yeah shes good. CASSIE Scott after end game & Hope continue being antman and the wasp, but cassie eventually takes over the suit from them (Maybe something happens in antman 3 quantamania that means neither scott or hope can use the suits any more because it will tear them apart, like hank cant use the suits because it takes too much of a toll on his body now and he wouldnt surive it really...) so cassie has taken over the suits and is now operating under the code name stature. This then begins the next arc for the avengers now they have got people powered up, and atleast 1 person from this destruction of the multi verse (America chavez) but we may have more that are discovered over the course of phase 4 that were bought through with the multi verse. So, where does this go??? The young avengers is the next big arc.... Maybe wanda (&peter maximoff? not sure how that would work as young piettro (evan peters one) was from the 80s or something in xmen so is an adult not a kid like he is in wanda vision, which adds to my this isnt pietro but loki thing) But maybe wanda is leading them, maybe not. But the multi verse cant be fixed so they have these heroes now and the avengers kinda died after end game cause tony died and steve fucked off. Sam helps train but hes off with bucky alot too doing a buddy up thing together, but as sam is the new cap he also heads up this young avengers kinda as a mentor for them. Now... right now your pronbs thinking "Morgan stark though" Morgan has a suit... but morgan is still even in 2030 (hawkeye is 2025...) morgan would only be 7..... so she isnt really old enough.... But who else had an iron man suit in the comics? who may of got dragged through the multi verse? Enter riri williams aka iron heart. POKEANI... used to hate it as a kid/teen bc it felt like a waste, i wanted to see the classic pokemon protags animated, but like.

i think it’s fun now! i know people who enjoy ash as a protag so i can get a kick out of the lad. i enjoyed the alola anime a lot bc i like the lighthearted nature n style of it :) i know a lot of pokeani fans really enjoyed xy but i think the only thing i rememebr from that one is turning one scene into an inside joke w my friends

Awe well thanks so much for this Laila! I saw it last night but simply had to go to bed but I gave some good thought to this at work today. I am very open with all of you so I tried hard to think about some interesting things I have no yet devulged. Let’s get into it!

1. I have a really good memory. Like scarily good sometimes, like there was a song I liked and hadn’t listened to or thought about in over ten years and then threw it on last month when I rememebred it existed and I still rememebered every lyric and patter and candance to it and everything. Quotes and song lyrics just live in my brain full time apparently. 

2. Even though I love musical theatre I have never been in a musical. I have done a lot of theatre and was in several plays when I was younger but not a single musical. Sometimes I miss acting but it is such a big time commitment to be in a show that even if I got involved with local small time theatre I feel like other aspects of my life, my writing in particular, would suffer for it so I’ve let it go for now. The future? Who knows.

3. I do not have kids and will never have kids. Do not have a maternal bone in my body, have never had the desire for them and don’t want em for a lot of personal reasons. I want two dogs that are best friends when I have the space to care for them properly. Going along with this, one of my biggest pet peeves is people TELLING me I will change my mind. 

4. I am half scottish and half french Canadain. I can speak very little french however, living in Ontario all my life and only visiting Quebec’ on trips during the summer in my childhood, in addition to not seeing my french family much, as well as school not teaching it in an engaging fashion led to me not learning much of it. 

5. Okay I saved the best for last. I did this thing a few times when I was younger called movie camp. It was a day-time camp (went to a lot of those when I was younger), you’d pick a script and book a time and show up in the same outfit for a week and would film a movie, about 25-30 mins long, two guys who were best friends ran it. They wrote the scripts, did props, costuming, the filming and then they’d edit it and you’d get your finished DVD of the movie in the mail. 

The first time I did it I was in a slasher movie (because of course I was) called “Night School.” a group of kids go to an abandoned theater that was supposedly haunted to fuck around and spend the night. The killer from the tragic event that closed the theatre is of course still around and starts killing off kids and yours truly was the Final Girl! Deadass I am serious! I got seperated from my group and was messing around in the prop room, my character gets knocked out and mistaken for dead, I come to when being dragged by the killer (he set up all the bodies on stage after they were dead cuz he was a sick fuck like that) and then we fight it out. I need you to picture the smallest, thinnest, little 4′11 me, in a t-shirt and red shorts, beating up on this guy who was over 6 foot and clad in a leather jacket, jeans and boots and a white mask. I manage to get the upper hand and stab him in the neck with a screw driver and if memory serves just I and one other kid make it out. A super fun time and I loved the whole experience!

Being drunk sucks, what is it like for you? (I’m drunk right now.)

I’ve never been properly drunk and don’t really plan on ever beinglmgjfkdjgm.

I’ve been a little tipsy before and I noticed that my face felt warm and I was getting uncontrollably talkative so I stopped drinking the drink that had finally done it—alcohol doesn’t really affect me much, I just get sleepy.

The closest I’ve been to being drunk drunk was when I was super incredibly sick when visiting a friend for New Years. She gave me some cold medicine and we hung out.

But it wasn’t quite three hours later that we had some champagne—which is gross I only had a few sips—which is good because I turned into a very tired giggly mess. (Don’t drink any alcohol after u have had cold meds kids even if it’s been a few hours)

We were playing apples to apples and everything was funny and I was laugh crying and almost fell asleep on the floor because I was so sleepy lmao

I ended up sobering up pretty quickly though later because amy was trying to set up the air mattress and broke something and it was two AM and i had to fix it LDMJGMGMF and then I went to bed. I woke up feeling great—cold meds did the trick, but I do not need to experience that again.

My roommate I rememebr got drunk one time because she wanted to know why people enjoyed it and she was like “this is terrible why do people like this” the breaking point was when she couldn’t knit anymore because her hands weren’t able to be articulate enough and so she went to bed KFHKGGJJF

okay so . i finished a vision of shadows and im gonna post my Thoughts on the arc here:

things i liked:

darktail was a good villain. he was scary, he was manipulative, he was mean. he felt THREATENING which is someting the other villains sometimes lacked (hawkfrost cough cough), he kinda reminded me of first series brokenstar a little & i LIKED darktail as a villain. him being onestars son is also so conceptually hilarious

alderheart was cute & i liked how nice and caring he was. he wasnt like.....unintentionally a jackass or annoying to read, he was just kind and always reinforced that. i also liked how he made t he most of his situation and became an awesome medicine cat

also puddleshine is a good boy too. puddleshine/alderheart FOREVER

also needletail. oh my god needletail. i remember someone saying “just read the books u wont like needletail THEN” but nope................i fcking love her. shes a good character. her death made me SO upset even though i knew it was coming & im such a sucker for her and violetshines found family dynamic

SPEAKING OF VIOLETSHINE i liked her a LOT. her & alderheart were my fave pov characters - theres something i really sympathize with and love in violetshine, and i liked her arc about finding her home and being so confident in it, but i also like all the moments where she was filled with doubt and bad memories. one of my fave scenes with her is when sleekwhisker is like “remember when we were friends???” & violetshine is like “no.........i Absolutely dont rememebr that. you were all mean to me.” bc YES violetshine, YOU TELL HER!

sleekwhisker was a LOT of fun. shes just mean as shit and i found myself liking that, theres nothing deep abt it. shes just so fucking rude and shes a fun secondary antagonist

tigerheart & dovewings kids are adorable

i really liked that last scene in the raging storm when tigerheartstar agrees to share a border with skyclan & hes like “oh so we wont be near thunderclan anymore???” & leafstar is like ?????/ & hes just like “thank GOD. we’ve been near them for waaayyyyy too long” & bramblestar joins in on joking wiht him being like “yeah well we’re glad not to be near YOU anymore either”, and the rest of the clans are just like “oh man what will we DO without thunderclan and shadowclan butting heads anymore???’ that just made me smile. i like the scenes wtht he clans joking with one another and all

also alderhearts last tidbit where he looks at violetshine & twigbranch and thinks abt needletail and how far theyve all come and just oges “i hope youre happy in starclan, needletail, i miss you.’ was really cute. it made me kinda emotional

leafstar was so good in this arc. i liked her and skyclan a lot bc they were so rightfully DONE with everyones shit - from being taken advantage of to being driven out, she just HAD it with all of them and i was like you know what.....good job. i’d be mad to that place is a freakshow

shattered sky is probably one of my fave warrior books i wont lie

i loved the scene where all the clans fight darktail and they show how each of the clans are using their own skills to fight him, and they list how they’ll do it - i just like the idea of them all coming together, and that battle was REALLY good. shattered sky was just good

things i DIDNT like:

oh boy.

briarlights death. im still so mad that out of every character, the ONLY one who dies is her in river of fire. like no lets not get rid of the older cast or characters who havent done ANYTHING in all the books.....like it just made me rly mad and still does. i miss her so much :(

im gonna be honest - i said it once a long time ago and i’ll say it again: its hard for me to like tree as a concept when hes this able bodied character who has an ENTIRE new role created for him just bc he doesnt feel like doing anything else in a clan but characters like briarlight and longtail werent allowed to become warriors after their respective injuries, or characters like jayfeather and cinderpelt are forced to become medicine cats. like its just hard for me to like him when in the SAME BOOK briarlight dies and tree gets his dumb new role.

darktail shouldn’t have died so early tbfh. like after he died the last 3 books were just really.....underwhelming. sleekwhisker came back for that one book but it was like. there were no villains?? except. the weather i guess

the whole “the clans dont listen to the medicine cats” got really repetitive after like the 4th book.  like it started to just kinda get annoying when alderheart would go to bramblestar ad hes just like “okay but...i dont want to do anything JUST yet son” like WE’VE BEEN OVER THIS 10 TIMES NOW

i didnt like jayfeather in these books, im sorry. like there were little glimpses of him i liekd - when he was hanging around fuzzball, or small scenes with him and alderheart - but he was just.....too mean sometimes. how he treated alderheart and twigbranch really bothered me sometimes bc it felt so mean-spirited. they kinda overdid his grumpiness i think bc theres just a line between being a grump and just being an asshole and he was falling on the latter i think

twigbranch & flypaws relationship reeeeallly bugged me ngl, esp since i feel like there wasnt any scene where twigbranch realized she was really wrong for how she treated her. like yes i understand twig was rly frustrated but flypaw is an APPRENTICE & twigbranch being like “i have to be really mean to her for her to understand she needs to Be Better” bugged me. hmph.

the whole arc felt really repetative in the last 3 books , i mentioned it before but i just. got annoyed with how much it was like “okay we need to come together” clans: i guess “okay we need to stop fighting” clans: okay and then the next book they dont do that. like it happened way too much and i was just liek CAN WE HAVE ANOTHER CONFLICT OR SOMETHING

how i feel about this character:

if youve followed me for any amount of time you know this but ill reiterate anyways. gonta is my ultimate comfort character, hes my favorite character from ANYTHING of all time, he is as a person a perfect gentleman and unendingly kind and so ridiculously smart and no one acknowledges any of this!!! hes cast to the side because 1) hes not conventionally attractive/a twink like the Big Popular Characters are, 2) dr fans be like [are ableist] and can only acknowledge “haha funny tall boy xd gentleman!!!” or “hes so stupid to get taken advantage of so much” or “well kokichi needed the character development so his violent unnecessary CRUEL death was integral to the plot!!!” and 3) people are too busy collectively sucking other characters peepees to take notice that gonta is. quite literally the reason the gang is able to realize theyre on camera in chapter six. hes easily up there as one of the smartest characters along with chihiro, miu, and junko, but no one acknowledges it!!!!! stan gonta or fucking die!!!!!!!!!!

all the people i ship romantically with this character:

shuuichi and gonta have romantic feelings for each other in game and i wont rest until the rest of you ACKNOWLEDGE it. not only that, they mutually respect each other, they try hard to understand each other better, they are accomodating of each other and there is not a SINGLE moment in which they are not looking out for each other. saigoku renaissance WHEN

also, kiibo/gonta, kiibo/gonta/shuuichi, and kiibo/gonta/rantarou (this one especially) are very very good. ryoma/gonta as well but i wish people wouldnt only make content when theyre trying to pair the two non twinks off with each other:(

my non-romantic OTP for this character:

gonta and kokichi friendship could be so good. SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!! but in canon its terrible and in fanon people cannot imagine NOT writing their friendship as unhealthy and toxic for gonta. please v3 let me rewrite your gonta/kokichi interactions. ill make it good i promise. also read pointy objects cuz rawr xd im making it better

also gonta and tenko as friends is GOD TIER. he’s the only of the boys she respects as a person, he in turn is respectful of her boundaries, and them being friends would KICK. ASS. gonta/kaede gonta/shuuichi gonta/maki and gonta/ryoma are untapped goldmines of friendship potential

my unpopular opinion about this character:

hes the reason the chapter six kids were able to figure things out. so sorry to tell you that it wasnt kokichi who figured it out first, it was gonta. hes the smartest character in v3 and id argue one of the smartest in the series as a whole. his role to the plot is VITAL in terms of figuring out the mysteries of the school (the pothole, the clue on the rock, the nanokumas, etc) and if SOMEBODY hadnt framed him up to be killed, he could have done so much more. that said, also? his death was unnecessary. it didnt need to happen. thanks!

one thing i wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon:

first off? he live. duh. second off? his arc be completed. i want to see him grow into the gentleman we know he is and be proud of himself. but if i cant have that, then i just want him to not have fucking died thinking he was a terrible person. his death was bullshit and it was unendingly cruel to let him live his last few moments hating himself so much for something he didnt rememebr doing, something i might add he never WOULD do had the writers not been TERRIBLE at writing the murder correctly. theres way more but this is so fucking long and i still have to do dabi DJXNDIXNDIXND
