Here’s a silly question: how would Galahdan’s react to an outsider who had somehow stumbled into interacting with galahdan myth? Like a person who’d befriended crows and is clearly a but magic because of it, or someone who can talk to snakes? Would they be mad at them even though it just happened? Would they be determined to ignore it? Or would they be curious and want to solve why this happened, or wonder if they were originally from galahd? (Not the kids taken by lucis, who they know are. But maybe someone who was just lost or orphaned by the war.) related: has anyone become galahdan that galahd forgot was an outsider, or who they refuse to acknowledge was because they became important to their history?

Not a silly question at all, my friend. You might just get a bit of a longer answer. XD

No, the Galahkari wouldn't be mad should this happen. Though it should be said that it's not exactly easy to find these magical phenomena on either continent because Bahamut upset the magical balance so much by binding almost all of the black magic to the Lucis Caelum line.

(Side tangent: I came to the conclusion a bit ago that the Fleuret line doesn't exactly use white magic, but more of a holy magic. Though I don't like that name and am trying to come up with a better one. Cleansing magic is too narrow, I feel. If someone has a good idea, please tell me.)

All that to say that the outsider must have most likely been on Galahd for some magic shenanigans to have happened. Which also means that the Galahkari must have at least tolerated the outlander enough to have them on their lands. So no, not mad. Even if it had happened outside Galahd, they wouldn't have been mad. Magic is often unpredictable and can have a will of its own, which is very much no ones fault.

The Galahkari would treat the person who got out of their Magic Incident with whatever talents/changes lake any other person this happend to. Like a normal person. Might make fun of them though for being reckless enough to have had it happen. And then educate them to make sure something like that happens again. Because magic attracts magic.

I don't think they'd really wonder if the person has Galahkari ancestry. Because magic can happen to anyone. It's just more likely to happen to someone who already has a bit of magic, because - like I said - magic attracts magic. And Lucians can have a bit of magic. Or the Tenebrabi, or Nifasi, or the Accordanse. (New name for people from Accordo! I feel like this one might actually stick. XD)

To your last question:

No, not exactly. It hasn't really come up yet, but the Galahkari do have stories about Ardyn. Because there were still Galahkari roaming about the continent when he and his brother were (properly) alive.

Ardyn was an ally to the Galahkari and helped them out. In the stories he's in, he has a lot of epithets, like all important people in their stories do.

Flame-Hair.

Sun-Eyed. Blessed by the sun.

Healing-Hands.

The Blessed-Cursed.

Most people who show up in Galahkari stories and aren't Galahkari, are declared as such. Ardyn isn't. Though he also isn't declared a Galahkari.

Which means you could lawyer your way into saying the Galahkari are trying to redact history into saying Ardyn was a Galahkar. I could see that discussion happen in the Blinded History AU at some later point in the story. (Should I ever get so far into writing it.)

But no. The Galahkari never declare someone as theirs when they aren't. Cases like Ardyn's are the closest they ever get to it.

It's a question of mentality anf pride, mostly. The Galahkari don't exactly like outsiders. And never enough to just... steal their identity for their own.

So uhhh I may have gotten really sad about [Redacted] and Astris the other night and I made an au.

It’s based off of something on YouTube (if any of you know what prism is I may need to infodump) and I ended up taking a bunch of my guys and putting them in it. Some names got switched up (specifically chosen names.

[Redacted] is Lucian because this is how we decided that’d be the name he’d use. Astris uses Seren, and Twm is called Tama. All the other names are the same.

The other thinggggg is that I ended up giving [Redacted] and Astris two bio kids (they’re still taking care of Niko and co. though) named Aurora and Castor (chosen names are Estelle and Robin).

Age wise: Seren is 27, Lucian 26, Tama 22, Sage and Asa both 19, Rizu 18, Niko and Hoshi are both 16 (still a system), and then Aurora is 11 and Castor is 8.

and I have now generated incorrect quotes for them (I will be drawing all of this later) enjoyyyy

they dont have any "names" i guess?? they go by redacted 2 , redacted & errorr// . because this is just how error// remembers it (it cant rememebr its own name / doesnt want to) , so theyre kinda stuck in some kinda purgatory . of sorts

pretty much redacted manipulates and tricks redacted 2 into helping to kill error// just becauz . they end up burrying errors body n thats that. so error is the 1st victim , but then ?? redacted 2 is dead (they die second i think??) and its framed as a suicide when in reality error somehow kills them. i havent figured it out but theyre probably some sort of paranormal creature wanting revenge bc well, theyre dead lol.

redacted ends up being killed after redacted 2 so yay! now theyre all in purgatory ! with this error forces them to relive this event but through errors own perspective ?? i havent worked out extra details but thats their backstory & stuff for now :-)

also errors family isnt the best & their sibling [redacted ??] was a bystander of this whole event

Charlie: most of my scenes with Casper were improvised  but that wasn’t on purpose. It was either A One of us forgot our lines and we just rolled with it or B Yuuri gave us this thing we call a “loose script” where the script will have a few key conversation points and lore drops for us to include, but then we just improvise the rest…but aside from that there is one thing that comes to mind 

Finn: Oooo The one scene that amazed everyone on set was actually improvised by Auron

This is a mini part but keep submitting questions!

I was talking with a friend about this. She had the wonderful idea of not only role swapping Jekyll and Lanyon but Frankenstein and [REDACTED]

She'd be much better to explain this than I can as it is her idea and I don't want to spoil much about her amazing plans.

My friend also had an awesome idea about roleswapping Ito and Utterson but Ito still happens to be a lodger. Utterson is not a scientist but he does stay at the society. He is the lawyer that helps them when they get into trouble. Of course it doesn't hurt that Dr. Jekyll does his showman act with the authorities.

For Lanyon, it's quite obvious he doesn't put his heart into this. Despite doing everything he could to keep things together and keep the society going. He hides his dislike for science pretty well though only a few people can see through this act of his. Even if it's obvious, no one really realizes that Robert has no passion for it because he worked so hard to accomplish everything.

Jekyll wants to quit the society but doesn't because of how hard Lanyon had been working at maintaining and keeping it going. So he sticks around. His love for science and everything unknown is still present but it is difficult for him to find the same joy in it. To enjoy it like he once did. He doesn't want to do science because he views himself too much of a failure but works on simple stuff to appease Robert.

That is all for now. Next thing I'll be talking about is Lucians relationship with the others and more into his personality. And his dynamic with Lanyon.

Robert had immense guilt over Henry Jekyll quitting his project that he was passionate about. Thinking it had something to do with him. Thinking that Henry was overly discouraged by him. So he decided to finish the formula himself to prove that Henry was onto something. He made the same mistake as Dr. Jekyll did in Canon. Buying tainted ingredients.

Roberts Hyde would be called Lucian Bennett in this au. He is taller than Robert. Is more muscled as well. His hair became dark and very thick. Silver eyes with golden specks. Personality wise. He wants nothing to do with anything related to high society. Showing immense dislike for it. Enjoying freedom of just going out and having fun.

On another note about [Redacted], it was decided amongst some friends that if he were to choose a name besides [Redacted] to use, it would be the name Lucian. Mostly because it meant light.

This may become canon someday in the future, if my goal to write his story as a book series or something does happen, because while I love [Redacted] as his name, it would make much more sense for him to have something slightly more typical.

For now though he's still [Redacted]. Just thought it was neat and wanted to share.
