Can we, as a society, remember that Stu and Vinny shared an apartment when they both played in Wichita. Like, I feel like we’re sleeping on that a bit too much.

They shared an apartment, with probably two bedrooms, a living room, a shared bathroom, the whole shebang. And it was theirs 😭😭

Do you think they played house with each other? One of them would make breakfast for the other, and at night they would attempt to make dinner together? Curl up on the couch while watching a movie, and then have to figure how to carry the other to bed when they fell asleep.

Do you think they stayed in their respective rooms, lying on their sides, facing where they knew the other’s room was, and wished that that there wasn’t a wall and infinity separating them? Or do you think they curled up together in a bed barely big enough for them, with the other room made up simply for appearance and questions that nobody would ever ask, but just in case.

Do you ever think they stole kisses in the bathroom, on the floor in front of the tv, in the small kitchen that was barely a kitchen but was enough for them. Moments together on the couch, in the bed, moments where they got lost in the other. Do you think, if they thought that they weren’t allowed, that they ever dreamed it up, in the dead of night, reaching out for the other, even though their hands would never touch?

Do you ever think that they lived in a small apartment, barely big enough for the both of them, both chasing the same dream, unsure if they would ever make it, and realized the true piece of heaven that they had carved out with the other?

Do you think they lost it? On separate teams, in separate houses, in separate realities? Or is it still with them, just waiting for the perfect moment to remind them you can everything you want in the palm of hand, you just have to reach out and grab it.

Rewatching the first few episodes of Young Justice, and this is kinda birdflash kinda not (you can absolutely take it as them just being besties), but Wally grabbing Robin’s utility belt when Dick uses it in CADMUS, so Wally doesn’t get left behind is SO cute to me. Dick is just minding his business, being one half of the dynamic duo who doesn’t play well on teams, but then there’s Wally who is so clearly repeatedly saying “if you’re going, I’m going” by sticking close to Robin. Dick isn’t thinking about the others, but Wally is SO prepared for Robin’s next movements, and it speaks to such an amazing friendship and partnership in the field😭I miss them so much - they were never the same again after the 5 year time skip what HAPPENED to THIS version of them goddammit
