OH GOD I ALMOST FORGOT TO POST THIS!! Good thing I just remembered before it was too late. I didn't get to draw and post this the day of but at least I got to post it before January ends.

I also tried to match the art style just like with other characters from other shows and stuff.

The set of Kindergarten fan doodles took forever to finish. It also felt forever getting back into the game. Idk why I put it off for so long I loved the game so much back in 9th grade.

Also I miss Geologist Randy, ngl. 🥲 And I didn't even watch 101DS yet I'm watching the 90s show first and there's like 65 episodes 💀 AND THE SECOND MOVIE AFTER 😭 idek if they matter for 101DS

I just felt like drawing them. Probably my two most favorite villains of WC. They were also the two most heart broken. Huh.

God I had the shittest brain blast, absolute monster of ideas, and something that can help us define the trolls because of shitty clone genetics.

First, do the dancestors food into the ultimate self due to how troll genetics work? If so who is the dominate or does it form into someone a balance of the two? Like Karkat (angry and passionate)/ Kankri (knowledable and verbose) combine into the Sufferer or someone close to that?

Second, is Mituna’s brain damage the reason why for Sollux’s dullaity motif, specifically his psiionic troll bipolar brain? If so does that mean Skaia make each and every dancestor the opposite in terms of character development? Meenah’s a bitch so fef is kind? Kurloz’s belief where ignored so Gamzee is both oblivious (pre-supor) and visibly fantatical (post supor)? It seems like with Mituna and Sollux it’s more Sollux need to learn to deal with his disorder which Mituna couldn’t because his friends couldn’t/didn’t want to help him

Finally, from each pair of dancestors being opposites of what their character needs to become yet at the same time lacks, can we figure out their sgrub quest? Meenah needed to learn how to become empress and not such a huge glubbing bitch( which she failed) and Feferi, if left alone, becomes the empress, a direct result of no one challenging her on her ideal of kindness and compassion towards the lowbloods (another reason for nepeta to become so important in her life). The vantas’s seem destined for revolution it’s just that the coin flip of Alternia and Beforus determines if they are successful or not.

Last thing I want to add what the fuck does troll fanfiction mean because who exactly is writing it, because it’s kinda shit ngl. The beforans? Alternians? One of the Sekrets? Piexes?

Just going in order again:

The dancestors are wholly separate individuals from the Alternian trolls, and are therefore not a part of each Alternian trolls' ultimate selfhood. There is theoretically an ultimate Cronus and ultimate Eridan, and these are 100% discrete from each other with zero overlap. The Alternian ancestors (aka signless, disciple, etc.) are full-on just the Dancestors placed in different circumstances, who therefore grew up to be different people. Kankri always had it in him to become the Signless, he just failed to do so in his original session.

Skaia didn't "make" anyone do anything. Each person is their own individual with their own individual struggles, flaws, and arc. The A1 trolls often mirror their A2 counterparts, in Watsonian terms, because of genetic resemblance and similar cultural positions, and, in Doylist terms, because it makes solid narrative sense to have them serve as foils for their descendants, which necessarily requires them to be similar, with key opposite traits or circumstances. If there's anyone to blame here, it's the author for wanting to employ literary devices like foils and irony.

Moreover, I think you're missing many details about the trolls - for example, Gamzee has always been a staunch believer in his faith, Kurloz's belief is also something his friends are aware of, and Feferi has always been a kind of a casteist jackass (I wouldn't necessarily call her "kind" toward the lowbloods when it's clear that a Beforus under her rule still very much had casteism, royalty, and oppressed the lowbloods). It's a bit hard to discuss these things if we aren't on the same page.

At the end of the day, for any character who doesn't outright say what their SBURB/SGRUB quest was, we can only speculate. There's no way to know "for sure," and, in fact, no indication that Hussie even necessarily came up with any, as that entire part of the story was truncated because such details were unnecessary: it can be assumed every troll had a personal quest, since that's how the game works, and it can be assumed that they all basically failed said quest to varying degrees, because their comprehensive failures are what spur on much of the plot. No other details are necessary, and as such, were neither written nor alluded to (and Hussie outright says that this is the case for their entry artifacts). It's fun to speculate, but in terms of discussing the canon, there's nothing there to discuss.

I also have no idea what you're referring to re: troll fanfiction. Meulin canonically writes RPF about her friends, Hussie has referred to Mindfang's diary as being an explicit riff on overly flowery, sexual fanfiction, and has also in-universe called Doc Scratch's recounting of the ancestors' lives that. IDK what else you might be thinking of.

I’ll make a separated post about this AU but to cut it short After Billie got all the gems for Aristotle and he wanted to restore Arthur’s magic because he thought that Arthur was dead (but here he’s alive) and wanted to use his magic to bring him back but he needed a worthy sacrifice so he sacrificed Billie but sense Arthur was alive all of the magic from all the gems (would have possibly killed her) transferred into Billie.

So technically sense shes still young she has multiple problems controlling all of the magic and health problems. But I wanted to make her look like a demon because I thought it looked cool same with the outfit just thought it looked cute

Now that I read the whole thing I feel like I made the story kinda stupid but I don’t think I need a separate post so-

Some Health issues or problems Billie has from the magic stuff or in general(idk what to call it)

• Nauseous/Dizzy

• throwing up/coughing up a little bit of blood (once in a while)

• Sometimes Blurry vision

• Bad headaches/Body aches

• Has trouble breathing (if having a panic attack)

• Somtimes faints/passes out (once in a while)

•Can’t show to much emotion (as in super happy or really upset) or else there will be a big blast of energy from the magic

•Doesn’t eat as much as she used to she mostly has small snacks not full meals, (most of the time she just drinks water and doesn’t eat)

• Even though the bell is gone Billie keeps the leather collar part because it was still her fathers

• Billie misses her mother and friends but refuses to see them again because she doesn’t want them to find out what happened

• Billie eventually hangs out with the other Bbu gang (as in Barnaby,Fanto, etc) because they understand her a bit more

• Billie mostly hangs out with Elaine, Barnaby, Fanto, and the cat pirates

• Billie doesn’t go out in public as much but visits Dutch’s hotel for snacks or water occasionally 

• Dutch is like a rich uncle towards her kinda like Elaine she likes and Aunt/Mother figure for Billie (so she spends a lot of more time around her)

(Ngl I feel even more bad it’s just drama after trauma 😞)

I'm halfway through 13 Sentinels Aegis Rim and more than halfway through the 'main' protagonist Juro's story and ngl, I've yet to been able to bring myself to get invested in him. He's one of the only three playable characters I haven't been able to get invested in, the others being Megumi and Gouta, but at least Gouta has the excuse of barely being present so far and when he is it's short lived and cryptic, and you can barely access any of his story until the end. I've blasted through a good chunk of Megumi and Juro's stories but alas, I don't find them interesting thus far. Please just give me back my stupid bisexual son Hijiyama, I miss him so much, I've barely seen him in ages.

Honestly I feel like Iori should be framed as the main protagonist instead of Juro because of her connection to an extremely important character, but hey, what do I know.

This has got to be one of the silliest things I've ever written, but ngl, had a blast doing it. Short story about the Karuizawa Cabbage Theory. Geography is woefully in accurate since Sternbild is supposed to be a version of New York City, and well Karuizawa is a resort town in Nagano, Japan. Still the fans think he drifted on the river all the way to Karuizawa, so it stays.

Yuri Petrov...

Kotetsu sat at his desk staring at the screen looking at a blurry photo submitted to him from his client, of a man with similar hair (though unkempt) selling cabbages. The former Hero Supervisor had been missing for almost a year ...which coincided with the permanent loss of his powers and the last time he and Barnaby had seen Lunatic. While it was hard to make out Lunatic's face in the glare, that same untamed curly hair resembled that of the cabbage seller's, who had not bothered to tie it back. A sharp contrast from the Director, who was so meticulous about keeping a neat and tidy appearance.

Kotetsu's current line of work as a Private Investigator for Anything Goes Investigations opened him up to contact from people from various walks of life, which is how found himself taking on the case of the missing Director. He had been approached by a woman by the name of Elena, who had said she was previously in employment as his mother's caregiver, until her untimely death. Apparently her employer had gone missing while she was recuperating in the hospital for injuries sustained during a robbery attempt in which Yuri's mother Origa, had been fatally wounded. Elena had survived; however, upon her release from the hospital, she learned that Yuri Petrov had been missing since the attacks on city by Gregory Sunshine and the controlled NEXTs. Fearing the worst, she sought out the services of Kotetsu to launch a search for the missing Judge.

This was how Kotetsu found himself in a small resort town called Karuizawa (of all places!) interviewing a strange cabbage seller, who looked unmistakably like his former boss, yet whose mannerisms were anything but.

"I honestly don't remember much prior to ending up here" said the Cabbage Seller amicably smiling at Kotetsu.

Smiling, thought Kotetsu Is he actually smiling at me? And what's with the casual speech?

The Director always spoke so formally around them and was known to be stoic. The Cabbage Seller on the other hand was all smiles, with a carefree demeanor.

"What do you mean you don't remember?" asked Kotetsu bluntly

The Cabbage seller tucked an unruly lock of hair behind his ear.

"Well the people here say I was found drifting in a nearby river badly hurt. They didn't think I'd actually make it! But I guess they brought me to a hospital or something... I'm not really clear on any of it. To be honest I don't really remember a lot of things, so they kinda look out for me." He smiled sheepishly at Kotetsu

"Yikes, sounds like you had a rough time" he responded still weirded out by Cabbage Yuri's mannerisms. "So are you tellin' me you don't remember who you are at all?"

"Not at all!" replied Cabbage Yuri enthusiastically "They've taken to calling me 'Kawabe' (A/N: riverside/riverbank) around here because of where they found me. Suppose it could be worse and they could have called me Cabbage Guy or something..."

He paused for a moment and furtively looked around. Seeing no one was around he looked at Kotetsu conspiratorially.

"Hey Mister, you wanna see something cool? But you can't tell anyone. Promise?"

Kotetsu had a sinking feeling of what this "something cool" was.

Shit-shit-shit... he thought to himself.

"Sure, go for it..." he hoped his nervousness wasn't showing.

"Look what I can do!!"

The tell tale signs of blue light from NEXT power activation appeared, as a bright blue flame errupted from Cabbage Yuri errr Kawabe's hand.

"I dunno if this was because of my accident but it sure looks cool!"

I KNEW IT. Thought Kotetsu. I knew this asshole was Lunatic! And now he doesn't even remember...

"Ummm hey, isn't that kinda dangerous? Shouldn't you be careful where you're waving those things around?"

Cabbage Yuri Kawabe's eyes widened as he quickly extinguished the flame.

"Oops, you're right! My bad!"

'Oops' and 'My Bad'??? Where the hell did he learn to speak like that!! I gotta try to deal with this before it becomes a problem.

"Listen I'm gonna level with you. I'm here because I run a Private Investigations office and..."

"...And you're on a case?!??" asked Cabbage Yuri excitedly

"Yeah something like that. Anyway while I'm here I kinda need someone who knows the area. Whaddya say, you interested?"

I've seen criticisms that Hashtag won too easily but I can accept that Shockwave isn't as skilled a fighter as other Decepticons, I mean he is supposed to be a scientist. It doesn't exactly track with his fight against Megatron I guess but eh he was especially mad that time and even then he tried to ensure it was a one-on-one fight iirc. Also children winning despite the odds is just a thing in children's shows

I think this was my favourite S2 episode so far! I loved the message about choice and identity

Hi Mari! I dont know what you think about me sharing my thoughts with you, but I will do it. I JUST WATCHED SONIC 3! I'm kind of ashamed that I've been waiting 7.5 years for adaptation of Sonic Adventure 2 and watched the movie just now. (actually, I started watching it on December 24th, but decided to wait for good quality and Russian subtitles. As a result, I was too lazy to watch)

I've waited for this movie... Probably for two decades lmao. I'm pretty sure I was in elementary school when I first played Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, and for years it was my only and universally beloved Sonic experience, until I finally played Mania when it came out, and then Sonic x Shadow Generations. Which finally managed to make me play more Sonic games.

So I've been replaying Adventure 2 a lot and also Adventure 1. And despite having no nostalgia for the latter, these two are my favorite Sonic games. Even beyond the flawless Mania and Gens, which I also love replaying.

I watched sonic x as a child and I remember being disappointed in how they handled the adventure 2 storyline. I've recently watched the original japanese dub and I actually didn't mind it (except for Chris, lmao). Yes it's very condensed, but it more or less hits all the story beats.

But I loved loved loved this movie. The sonic movies have been really a blast to watch, these past few years. It feels like we have hit a point where videogame movies are no longer ashamed of being videogame movies.

And even if this retelling of the story is different, because the established universe of the movies is different, I enjoyed it so much I went to see it 3 times in the theater, lmao!! I didn't have your patience.

I'm so gonna watch it a bazillion more times when it becomes available digitally in Italy. And I'm prov gonna buy the blu-rays too.

NGL a lot of my enjoyment is derived from the Italian actors, which I'm a shameless fangirl of. The Italian dub is, as far as I'm aware, the only dub where every animal character retains their main game voices. And these actors have done a spectacular job portraying these different but still recognizable takes of them.

And also Roberto Pedicini, our actor for Jim Carrey roles, is an absolute god. I think, after all these years of dubbing him, he's slowly been morphing into Jim Carrey himself, he truly doesn't miss one take. It's almost like watching the original 1:1, that's how good he is.

ANYWAYS, not that there aren't grievances I also have with this movie, but right now they're overshadowed by how much I enjoyed it each time I went to see it (and each time MORE THAN THE PREVIOUS). EVEN MY MOM ENJOYED IT SHHDHX.

Stupid meme references and all. Which I also love. And hey, movie 1 also had sanic, didn't it.

I can't wait for movie 4. I wonder if they're really gonna do a time travel story! Maybe the mini black hole Jimbotnik used to destroy the cannon actually somehow made him travel through time??

I do wonder also if the badniks are gonna resemble their in-game counterparts in general now, not just Metal Sonic. I love the egg design, but I want to see Gamma and Omega eventually, if sonic movies keep being made!

To answer your other question about Tom and Maddie, I think they're taking this in strides all things considered, lol! I don't even think they would be angry if Shadow showed up again, they prob know the full story by now and movie!Shadow is as much of a lost child as movie!Sonic was in the first one, so hey! Another furry child collected! 🤣

Peter’s eyes are lit up with amazement as he looks at the roof of your car, battery operated lights and pins covering the felt ceiling. 

“So your parents just like, let you smoke weed in here?” 

You snort and smoke out of a pipe in your hand, “I mean my mom always yells at me cause she swears I’m gonna get pulled over one day, but for the most part as long as I don’t smoke in my room they don’t care.” 

He lights his half of the bowl, he inhales, exhales, coughs, then speaks. 

“Your parents are so cool, May would have my neck in a noose if I smoked in her car, or on the roof, or anywhere near the apartment or her, but yeah.” 

You met Peter in your art class at community college, you both just started dating without realizing. He’s new to the stoner stuff, he doesn’t mind it. 

It was easy with Peter and just a bit innocent, there was never any pressure, things just happened naturally. “You know, I never dated anyone before you.” 

You raise your eyebrows, “Oh? Well, you didn’t miss out much. Just watch, you’ll find out relationships suck sometimes,” you wink at his grin. 

“No, I was saving it.” 

You cough on your hit and pass it. 

“Saving what?” 

He laughs, it's child-like. It’s carefree and light and innocent and pure. 

“This.” He points around the car.

“All of this, this love. I saved it for someone like you, someone who lets me feel like a kid. I was so focused on school I missed out on all the dumb things kids do and I get to do it now, and it’s with someone I love more than I ever thought I could.” 

You smile and feel yourself warming up with pride and honor, you are filled up with love. 

You pick some small pieces of weed off your lap, you rub them between your fingers until they disappear. You clear your throat and look at him, he knows that look and is excited. 

“Well, if you wanna go do some stupid shit that young kids do, I know some places.” 

Peter buckles up, he cracks the window to help air it. He grips onto his seatbelt, “I gotta be prepared for anything. You’re high and taking us on the highway.” 

You laugh and buckle yourself in, you turn the car on and blast the heater. 

“That means you should trust me more than anything, I’m extra focused on not getting us arrested.” 

“You promise I’m not gonna smell when I get home? May will kill me.” 

You smirk before turning on your left blinker, you look for oncoming traffic. Before you turn out you look back at him. 

“Isn’t that the point?”

a personal Mario movie review from yours truly.

ok, so, I'm very natural over Mario franchise. I don't love it, but I don't hate it either. so this review is mainly from someone who is there only for the animation (also for Jack Black ofc). cool? cool. alright.

spoilers below

I'm going to be super upfront with the "good stuff", and sorta detailed with the "meh stuff". mostly because the good stuff is very self-explanatory while for the negative ones I feel like at least I should give a little bit of reason why I feel that way.

good stuff

I love the world-building, everything is very well-detailed and the environment is insanely rich

character designs? love it. they look absolutely alive and expressive

the casting. I think they're all really good???? I personally think Chris Pratt is alright too ig? I mean I kinda don't care, I was distracted with everything else in the movie. but he's fine.

Jack Black. nuff said.

I love Toad. I love Peach. DK. BROWSER??? everyone's very likable damn.

I'm obsessed with the 3d models ngl. there are times when I was focused more on the models than I was on the story. It's really distracting in a good way.

Storywise, I think it's decent but also fun!

love love love the dynamic between Mario and Luigi. Peak dynamic, really.

Such a nostalgia trip. I for one who doesn't know much about Mario had such a blast listening to all the soundtracks and looking at the itsy bitsy references and such.

^ I was watching this with a friend who is obsessed with Mario. there are times when he went absolutely insane and explained some stuff that I didn't know. which I think it's cool! it's crazy how there are literally easter eggs and fan service everywhere, it doesn't feel forced too. I really could see why people love it so much.

ok, imma be honest. I'm just gonna complained about the plot holes here,, It didn't really effect the story, but it did confuse me a bunch of times. again, this is coming from someone who doesn't know much about Mario. I might miss some stuff.

the transition when Mario/Luigi got teleported from Brooklyn to the Mushroom Kingdom. like, why? what's so special about that specific pipe?

also before that. why's Brooklyn drowning all of a sudden lmaoo. that part kinda felt forced just so Mario and Luigi had a reason to go below the sewer. it sorta makes sense I guess? but the pacing is pretty dang weird.

how does Peach know her own kind? "you're a human!". she was a literal baby when she first got to the Mushroom Kingdom

I love love love Toad character. I just don't understand his presence? I mean sure, he's bringing the comedy, but you could find the "comedy" elsewhere too. so his character is a bit useless despite him being the protector. long story short, the movie would be fine with or without him < this is how much his character matters imo.

the pacing after Mario agreed to fight with DK and then suddenly he's on the stage. tbf this isn't really a big deal? but the transition kinda bugged me.

I don't know what exactly they wanted to do with Mario and Peach relationship. do they like each other romantically? it doesn't feel like it despite being teased a few times.

my dude Luigi has to sit in the cage for how long now? kinda suck. I wanna know more about him, I wanna see him more in action.

that being said. I wish they did more with Luigi, give him something to develop on. because seeing him fighting Browser doesn't feel as rewarding as how we see Mario. all he did most of the time was get caught and sit in a cage while Mario had to go through all those bullshit. but I get it though. storytelling wise, Luigi is supposedly Mario's goal. to get him back and all that. I get that.

I can't feel sad for Mario for some reason??? (this has nothing to do with Cris Pratt btw). his supposedly "emotional" scenes didn't impact me at all. in fact, I felt awkward. I honestly don't know why though.

the final fight scene is also awkward? I mean it's cool, don't get me wrong. I think it has to do with where they're fighting? I guess imma blame Brooklyn for this.

the 80's pop songs felt out of place, but maybe that's just me.

personal rating? 7.

but I genuinely get why people love this movie.
