Hello again, Mari! What do you think would have happened if Oscar and Ozpin had ascended and that there would have been in Vacuo arc if they had been separated? (not a soul, it's just that Ozpin has his own body and they're still connected)

ok so my first thought is regardless if they're separate or not: i think the blacksmith would have basically severed the curse, because it's not how they do stuff, the gods are stupid

if they're separated, i can see ozpin going through a breakdown arc like ruby and jaune tbh. Probably gonna try staying away from oscar and the other in order to protect them. The stupid man.

Oscar will find strength in the others' presence and that they cherish him as he is. But I can also see him and the others reconciling with Ozpin in the Ever After once and for all.

Also, since the Blacksmith canceled the curse, Ozma and the others are free to go. If Ozpin and Oscar have an ascension scene, they're gonna see all the souls moving on, but not before telling the two of them how proud they are of them, reaffirming their value and their bond.

It's so funny that as a child I had this Sonic OC who was called... Grey Miles. He was basically a taller, colder version of Tails inhabitating his body. It was based on Yugi and Yami from Yu-Gi-Oh XDDD I also love that manga

Anyway I was thinking of redesigning him but as an Ozpin like figure, this time around. A nine-tailed fox who becomes a mentor to tails... Mmmm

Hi! Wanted to ask you about your 'rwby camp camp au'. Who is who? I mean, dadpin and dadvid forever, but others? What happen there? :) Some regular camp camp adventures or evil bwitch ex wife? Ozma is Jasper?

My idea is not an au but more like an unholy crossover where the RWBY characters are transported into the world of Camp Camp, Ozpin is separated from Oscar for no reason in particular, and they all probably get into some shenanigans. And there's parallel dadpin and dadvid bonding amidst the shenanigans.

Idk maybe Daniel's cult attempts to kidnap and sacrifice everyone, but everyone is unfazed bc 1. The camp camp characters are used to this shit at this point 2. The RWBY characters have dealt with way worse things. So when the bonding is said and done, ozpin and oscar just untie themselves and max and david and beat the bad guys to a pulp, much to Max's joy.

There might also be gwenvid and ozglyn, as well as rosegarden and makki.

Also what else... I guess quartermaster really doesn't like ozpin and in turn ozpin is actually slightly worried that this man could snipe at him at any moment. Salem maybe could have been transported to the camp camp world but immediately left bc she's not dealing with this.

Look at me, I'm speaking as if I will ever do anything with this idea, instead of just fantasizing about it, haha.

Well honestly I think it's very bittersweet in vol 4 cuz Oscar's entire world has suddenly been shaken. I like to think that, in the days prior to Oscar's departure, Ozpin told him stories to help him sleep because Oscar was so worried and sad... And that may have started a sort of habit, of them recounting fairy tales to each other, like that instance we see in vol 8!

Hello! Sorry I'm late to the question!

I admit I don't have one, mostly because, despite Ozpin being my favorite character, I think his death opens up the story a lot. The way it introduces Oscar and pairs the two of them up is also, as you may probably know, one of my favorite things in the entire series (I love souls sharing the same body! It's always very interesting to explore, bonus point if it's some sort of reincarnation).

I do... I do have a RWBY x camp camp crossover idea which could have Ozpin lives au by default but... I don't know if it qualifies. 🤣 I do like everyone else's Ozpin Lives Aus AS LONG as they include Oscar and don't bash him. Because some do. And that makes me sad.

Hi Mari! I dont know what you think about me sharing my thoughts with you, but I will do it. I JUST WATCHED SONIC 3! I'm kind of ashamed that I've been waiting 7.5 years for adaptation of Sonic Adventure 2 and watched the movie just now. (actually, I started watching it on December 24th, but decided to wait for good quality and Russian subtitles. As a result, I was too lazy to watch)

I've waited for this movie... Probably for two decades lmao. I'm pretty sure I was in elementary school when I first played Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, and for years it was my only and universally beloved Sonic experience, until I finally played Mania when it came out, and then Sonic x Shadow Generations. Which finally managed to make me play more Sonic games.

So I've been replaying Adventure 2 a lot and also Adventure 1. And despite having no nostalgia for the latter, these two are my favorite Sonic games. Even beyond the flawless Mania and Gens, which I also love replaying.

I watched sonic x as a child and I remember being disappointed in how they handled the adventure 2 storyline. I've recently watched the original japanese dub and I actually didn't mind it (except for Chris, lmao). Yes it's very condensed, but it more or less hits all the story beats.

But I loved loved loved this movie. The sonic movies have been really a blast to watch, these past few years. It feels like we have hit a point where videogame movies are no longer ashamed of being videogame movies.

And even if this retelling of the story is different, because the established universe of the movies is different, I enjoyed it so much I went to see it 3 times in the theater, lmao!! I didn't have your patience.

I'm so gonna watch it a bazillion more times when it becomes available digitally in Italy. And I'm prov gonna buy the blu-rays too.

NGL a lot of my enjoyment is derived from the Italian actors, which I'm a shameless fangirl of. The Italian dub is, as far as I'm aware, the only dub where every animal character retains their main game voices. And these actors have done a spectacular job portraying these different but still recognizable takes of them.

And also Roberto Pedicini, our actor for Jim Carrey roles, is an absolute god. I think, after all these years of dubbing him, he's slowly been morphing into Jim Carrey himself, he truly doesn't miss one take. It's almost like watching the original 1:1, that's how good he is.

ANYWAYS, not that there aren't grievances I also have with this movie, but right now they're overshadowed by how much I enjoyed it each time I went to see it (and each time MORE THAN THE PREVIOUS). EVEN MY MOM ENJOYED IT SHHDHX.

Stupid meme references and all. Which I also love. And hey, movie 1 also had sanic, didn't it.

I can't wait for movie 4. I wonder if they're really gonna do a time travel story! Maybe the mini black hole Jimbotnik used to destroy the cannon actually somehow made him travel through time??

I do wonder also if the badniks are gonna resemble their in-game counterparts in general now, not just Metal Sonic. I love the egg design, but I want to see Gamma and Omega eventually, if sonic movies keep being made!

To answer your other question about Tom and Maddie, I think they're taking this in strides all things considered, lol! I don't even think they would be angry if Shadow showed up again, they prob know the full story by now and movie!Shadow is as much of a lost child as movie!Sonic was in the first one, so hey! Another furry child collected! 🤣
