Perhaps, everything is magnified now since it was her that was bleeding. She could get a paper cut, and he’d wage a war against the trees in the Amazon for causing such a grievance against his beloved. 

But this.. this is too much blood, still. Calm and collected Sylus, one has never witnessed him shaken, is now found trembling as he stares at the carmine pool surrounding them both. The smell of iron is nauseating, even for him and he feels the taste of bile threatening the back of his throat. He heaves, mouth agape in small pants while he scrambles to make sense of the situation. 

“Sw..Sweetie.. This is not right, c’mon. You have to… stop this.” He feels small, suddenly. Useless, as shaking hands continue to practically beg the wound on her chest to stop bleeding. The most powerful man of N109 zone deemed completely inadequate at this current moment. There was nothing he could do to stop the profuse bleeding, nothing he could do to save her - and he knew this deep down. 

The same young dragon who was so confused and vulnerable, whose frustration only grew as his horns continued to do the same. So shameful of his fate and destiny, yet knowing there was simply nothing he could do to change it. The same sentiments of ignominy - this time however, he feels like he’s deserving of the humiliation. Waited years upon years for her return, only for her to be dying in his arms. His beloved was going to leave him, and prayers of desperation for their roles to be reversed escapes his cracked lips.. For her to drill the claymore into the depths of his chest, again and again. Then, again and again. The only fathomable passage was for him to die and her to live for thousands and millions more years before she dies a natural painless death, after a fulfilling and happy long life - not this. 

“I don’t know what to do, I’m sorry. I am sorry, I don’t know what to do.” He apologises repeatedly, his tears dampening the hair at the top of her head as his body curls atop hers, his last desperate attempt to shield and protect her, but it’s no use. Nothing can save her. He knows that, too. This dragon is afraid and desperate.

A silent sob escapes his agape mouth, the sight of her choking on her own blood as she fights for her final breaths has him begging the Lord to shower him with mercy. He’d bear the punishment and atone for all of the sins both him and all of mankind has ever committed, if it meant that this world that his beloved would walk on was free of any atom of darkness. Let it be a safe place for her to roam and live unreservedly - because that would have been what she deserved, not this. “It should’ve been me. I’m sorry, it should’ve been me.”

And as her hand falls limp, this dragon roars in pain.

I was showing up for whatever YinWar and Dee Hup were going to give me in Jack & Joker: U Steal My Heart, but now that I've watched the trailer, I'm seated, sat, and sitted.

First off, LOOK AT THIS!

Yin and War have always been pretty, but to have them in a show where they can and will fuck each other up is what my dreams are made of.

Just beautiful men trying to put other beautiful men in chokeholds. Bless.

But there also seems to be some bad bitches in this club!

So I have no idea who is "good" and who is "bad"

And I think that is something the show is leaning into since Joke destroyed Jack's life, setting Jack on a dark path, yet Joke is trying to make up for his past wrongs. Nobody is bad. Nobody is good. Everyone is just trying.

Except this dude. He just seems very bad.

Although I don't know about Hope since he was fighting other beautiful men as well.

And because I'm rooting for a Mark x Prom kiss, I'm hoping if the show does make Aran an actual bad guy, he'll at least be a bad guy who Tattoo wants to make out with eight times a day, morning, noon, and night.

Because Tattoo and Hoy deserve a little treat after being born with the curse of poverty, threatened, and beaten up.

And seeing Joke in a blonde wig and a tight shirt doesn't count as a little treat.

But beyond the plot, I'm showing up for the colors!

Joke is a Red Rascal who causes havoc wherever he goes.

And Jack is the Blue Boy turned Black Brooder after Joke flipped his life upside down.

I'm already unwell about this dynamic.

Because it is the great color-coded pair where one is spontaneous and energetic and the other is calculated and reserved.

And they will easily feed into each other.

So after a bit, it'll be hard to see where one ends,

And the other begins.

So even though there will be tears,

And I'm praying nothing happens to the grandma,

I know all will end well.

Because color-coded boys in love get happy endings (in their color-coded blankets).

Chapter 103: Vamola 3

This was their lowest point. Vamola, Banga, Tome and Aja were all ready to die then and there. However, Banga is holding on to one last hope, one miniscule chance that things can still work out for the Sumerian people, and that hope is possible because she has Vamola. I love the way she bounces back from the despair in this moment. Even in the face of death, Banga doesn't give up that easily.

I love these old ladies. Even when they're dying they still got the energy to banter.

I also like the idea of Bakugo having a lil crush on Kirishima’s secretary. He’s somewhat formal with his own staff, so seeing how sweet you are to Kiri when you pat his shoulder when you drop off papers, or he to you when coffee is ordered just gets him so… flustered and itchy under the collar. Not knowing how to feel.

Bakugo doesn’t even realize it’s jealousy at first, and especially not when he has an interview planned with Kiri, and you’re there too, being just as kind to him as you are to your own boss.

Jack is a young student of Taekwondo when he meets Joke, a thief with a sense of justice. When things go terribly wrong, Jack's future is shattered and Joke bares the responsibility. Flash forward, Joke wants to atone for the damage he caused, but Jack refuses to forgive him.

This story is SO GOOD! It was a lot more fluffy and funny than we had expected from the trailer, but it doesn't mean there isn't a fair amount of pain and heavy. The show also brings up some surprisingly deep topics, like poverty, desperation, and the hopelessness of being trapped by life's circumstances.

After episode 1 left us with a lot of feelings, we expected the tone of the show to stay pretty heavy. But then we got some of the most ridiculously, over the top funny moments and characters. We love Grandma so much! There was so much to love about this series. It was a well rounded experience and we loved the ride the entire time.

Ending: 😍 HAPPY and perfect

Tears: 😭 Bring Kleenex. You break every time they do. Episode 10, I am looking at you!

Romance Scenes: You're going to be screaming for them to just kiss already, but timing/scenes are perfect for the story and characters. You can expect some good kissing scenes and a fairly spicy sex scene.

There is SO MUCH good stuff coming out from Thailand now and in the next year or so. Even if you've never tried Thai dramas or movies before, I highly recommend keeping your eye on a few upcoming/current projects that look really great. There are so, so many projects I could list, but I want to highlight three I am looking forward to the most.

How To Make Millions Before Grandma Dies (movie, family drama). A young Thai man takes care of his dying grandmother with the intent to get all of her inheritance when she dies. Out now in certain countries.

2. Uranus 2324 (movie, romance, sci-fi). Two young women, Kath and Lin, chase each other across universes and lifetimes, trying to find a reality in which they can be together. Premiers July 4, 2024

3. Happy Ending (series, thriller/mystery, sci-fi, possible romance). Anawin, an unsuccessful writer, finds the manuscript for an unfinished novel he is a fan of after the original author's murder, and is brought face-to-face with the novel's antagonist, Damon. Anticipated to come out mid-2025.

(to note, the first two trailers are for the finished projects, but the final trailer is a pilot/proof of concept trailer, not containing any scenes likely to be in the final product).

If you've never given Thai television or cinema a chance, I would highly recommend it. There's so much good (queer) stuff and Thailand has a very strong identity in their filmmaking, with roots in comedy, horror, and romance.
