✦﹒if you tend to stay in your room or house alot he finds ways to get you out occasionally, he knows some good tactics because of futaba. he offers to take you out on dates at night to avoid people as much as possible or taking you out to more open areas like Inokashira Park.

✦﹒assuming you go to shujin or any other school he always waits for you at the train station even if he ends up a bit late... once your both on the train he holds you or if that embarrasses you then he holds your hand the entire time while trying to distract you by talking about what news is going on in the city or maybe something stupid ryuji did the other day.

✦﹒if you're a phantom thief and get anxious about the amount of shadows in a palace or the metaverse then him and everyone else has got your back! akira being the leader sadly can't always be at your side he tries his best, holding your hand and shielding you with his body. if he has to go into a battle then the others who stay and watch (in my mind 4 fight while the others just watch...) will try and comfort you!

✦﹒out of all of them I believe that haru is the best at comforting, she may not understand how you feel but her words never leave to make you feel at ease. if you want someone who understands your fear then futabas got your back since she was once a recluse like yourself. the others also have their own ways of comforting you! (ryuji will start threatening the shadows)

✦﹒a bit off topic but speaking of ryuji and futaba they're practically your siblings and they're just as protective and eager to help you as much as akira.

✦﹒if you ever have a panic attack out in public akira is quick to excuse you both and takes you away from the public. once in private he's a bit hesitant because he isn't 100% sure how to help. he normally rubs your back and tells you to take deep breaths unless you don't want too. morgana will help you too despite his protests of not being a cat he hops onto your lap and nuzzles your hand in a attempt to make you feel better.

his usual quiet demeanor? gone, this boy isn't shutting the fuck up. or, if he is it's like having a cat- peace and quiet is not a good sign; silence rings from upstairs, not a mindless chatter to be heard and the rest of the pt freeze downstairs and share the same immediate panic: akira what the fuck are you up to now (especially since he should be RESTING but now he's trying to climb out the window and roofjump across yongen. seriously, someone needs to be on akira-watch constantly)

at some point akira starts chatting on about the velvet room, and igor's long-ass nose, twin child-wardens and the persona executions, and the team just think it's more of his high ramblings. you'd sure think, huh....

OK SO-- I made this little S/I art yesterday and felt like sharing!! My Persona 5 S/I is basically-- well, me (bubbly and annoying) and nothing else lolol I literally insert myself in the universe with some plot changes and it's fun!! She likes space and music! Cuz i do too! :D She's also an indie musical artist but it's like more of a hobbie than anything! (Even if it does helps with money and all! she also does haves some good amount of followers on the niche! But nothing big out of the indie bubble) She wants to work as a songwriter for a famous singer one day!

Her background is nothing crazy but I made some silly changes, like aging up my irl brother (he's currently a lil baby and I made him a lil kid :3) and making me live with my grandma! (fucking love my grandma kisses grandma!!) Also some dramatic aah stuff like dead mom and no dad for me (the basics) 😭😭 My S/I has a strong special interest in space!!! Which is something I'm getting really into lately! So I made mommy an astronomer! She was like best friends with Wakaba (scientific nerds lol) and Sojiro so S/I was very close to Futaba since childhood for that reason!

She is a phantom thieve (shockerz) and uhm I wanted to use my personal experience as a bullied child growing up (mostly because of ableism) and turn that into motivation to make justice, since no one did that for me before!! (Grr goddamn adults!) And finding my own group of weird little people made me much more open and generally happy in real life! So that's what I'm doing on this universe as well! ^^

- Her relationship with Akira is pretty much like a siblings relationship, Luna looks up to him allot and is the "I wanna be like you when I grow up" type lol even if they are the same age. He is her inspiration to get better, so she will get at his level one day! He also makes extra suggary cappuccino to her when she goes to Leblanc 🤝 ☕️

Ryuji Sakamoto

- Her relationship with him is pretty much the chaotic duo type, shes always giving him death stares when he starts to talk about girls or some dumb Ryuji shit like that 😭 Her and Morgana are constantly slandering him for the funzys, but Ryuji also likes to pick up on her so they're eternally on a war-- and in general they are two loud dumbasses who share the same braincells and have little silly banters 🤲 also HC that Luna helps him dye his hair 🫡

Ann Takamaki

- Her relationship with Ann is the girly besties type, constantly going out shopping, Ann usually helps her to buy her clothes since Luna definitely can't pick her clothes on her own without it looking weird 😭 they also go out allot to eat! Try the newest deserts all around Tokyo! Those two would probably kill for a chocolate cake. And they are getting progressively more poor because of that... She likes to paint Ann's nails and style her hair for fun! because she personally thinks Ann looks like a pretty porcelain doll!

Yusuke Kitagawa

- Her relationship with Yusuke is another of pure admiration!! Yusuke admire Luna for her artistic side on the music and Luna's eyes sparkle at every little sketch he does, I like to think that Luna (just like me) is an artist for fun who really has allot of trouble with drawing certain things that aren't fanart lol, and they go out on little panting sessions togheter. Like I dunno go to Inokashira Park to draw the scenario and his comes out like the next monalisa and hers is like... Blue and Green all mixed up togheter. And she probably got her clothes dirty in the process. He does encourages her to continue tho! And gives her tips that she usually doesn't get-- so uhm sensei Yusuke Ig?

Makoto Nijima

- Her relationship with Makoto is... *sighs* very sibling-like too. Luna isn't the best at school, and always cry for help when it's exams week 💔 Makoto usually scolds her for being too careless at everything, school, metaverse, crossing the road-- but only because she really cares about her. Luna is like the little sister she needs to lookout for so she doesn't get herself killed by accident. Oh fun fact but Luna is also very afraid of Sae (just like me im afraid of pretty woman) so yeah she freezes when she steps in the room 😭

Futaba Sakura

- Oh boooyyy Futaba time!! My relationship with Futaba is so silly and fun and I wanna yap about it!! Ok third person mode on--

So, since they were basically raised togheter, they are pretty close to one another, and have gathered the same types of interests through the years. Since I have the Autistic Futaba HC, I like to imagine that they get each other more than anything, engaging in parallel play most of the time when she was a shut-in. And I like to imagine that Luna was pretty much the only person she talked to at first after her Palace. Also HC that they play Pokemon United togheter. Cuz I said so. They exchange allot of gifts related to their special interests too! Ugh I have so many HC's for us but basically we are best friends forever two little chaotic autistic sillys but i help Futaba with her social anxiety! yipeee :3

Haru Okumura

- Her relationship with Haru is the tea time besties, they talk all day over a good cup of tea and Haru frequently gives her tips of how not make her plants die (very important, I never can make them live...) which is a hobby Luna really is trying to... make possible... (plz don't die this time) and generally her time yapping with Haru is a very comforting one, usually when shes feeling dramatic she goes and hugs Haru and makes her little drama, and Haru is usually the only one who's like "Oh dear :(" and stands her when she's being extra or cheers her up when shes actually sad too! 😭 shes such a sweetheart! <3 don't be mean with Mona and Luna! Haru is gonna politely ask you to stop. (Looking at you ryuji)

Morgana

- Her relationship with our favorite not cat! He's... Morgana. We know him. But Luna can be considered pretty much his #1 fan???? She thinks he's HELLA COOL like the best phantom thieve ever!! (I love morgana!!!) She really respects him and Morgana is really grateful to have someone that looks up to him (Luna looks up to lots of people! ><") Luna also likes to pat him. Allot. (IM A CAT PERSON OK) which well he doesn't mind but still he's not a kitty that you can just pat like that!!! (He's purring)

Sumire Yoshizawa

- Her relationship with Sumire is... damn, Luna is LOUD. And well we know that Sumi isn't exactly as extroverted as she makes herself seem when she takes on the Kasumi role. So uhm let's say Luna is overwhelming-- very overwhelming! 😭 She's always jumpy and bubbly and is constantly trying to cheer Sumire up, turning into some type of cheerleader for her when she starts to self-depreciate in any way, being overly affectionate and in general being extra EXTRA around her since she gets very worried about Sumire's mental health-- So yeah, Luna is basically constantly cheering her on and admiring her for being able to make things she can't (Even if Sumire doesn't think they're that great :< )... ooh we have another extreme admiration case here!!! Maybe the person she admires the most! Hell yeah! Give my girly some love!~ My bestie <3

- That's probably the most important relationship of all-- why did I put him in last? I'm embarrassed. Uh... shy? 😭 gonna be more personal about this one uhm-- well

No, really tho, our relationship is... I can't even describe it, but our dynamic is DEFINITELY the "aww they do care about each other" type-- I constantly enjoy to annoy the hell out of him, just because it's funny?? I'm the devil from the bible. Er... so... the thing is, Akechi constantly get dismissed through story for obvious reasons, he's openly agaisn't the Phantom Thieves and later they do have much MUCH more motives to not fuck with him-- but Luna? DAMN. That girl is I N V E S T E D In being friends with him. Specially on the start, his sob stories actually made her pity him and get all "aw he's miserable... 🥺" lol so she constantly insisted on being his friend, even tho he was internally screaming and trying to push her away, she was CONVICTED. SHES A FRIENDSHIP MACHINE BABY. YOU CAN'T ESCAPE HER!!

So with that forced proximity, they eventually started getting closer, and it was something very... slow? Definitely. Luna never cared about hiding herself no matter how weird people seemed to find her, maybe he would admire that... envy that? Who knows.

Suddenly he started to enjoy her company. Even if she was... oh well a little dumb, yeah, he definitely thinks she is-- He never had people who were close to him, and definitely didn't had someone THAT determined to bother him 24/7. Maaaybe he could call her something close to a friend... right? (Yes they were she stated that every 3 seconds and Luna rules 🫡) And that was before he "entered" to the Phantom Thieves, and when he did? Damn she was kinda happy! Don't talk about the blackmail part showing off to him and telling him all the cool things she could do as she ""teached"" him about the metaverse (lol like this bitch needed to) and they got even closer!! Damn! Let's go play darts togheter and silly around! Yay! :D

I also like to HC that he would eventually let some good amount of things about his real self slip, and Luna would be like totally clueless and okay about it, when most people would think it was weird or out of character. Maybe that's why he got so weirdly comfortable around her? She didn't gave a fuck-- and oh well he wasn't THAT detective princefied around her by that time. Yeah she's probably the closest he got to it... (sweeps Akira under the rug)

And uh... let's skip allot of things so I won't yap about the whole Akechi arc here. Maybe another day.

She was since the revelation, but it was worse now... and the penny dropped at the worst time-- And uh yeah sad above everything I think that's pretty much expected when you lose someone you really like. Despite everything, he was a friend... someone she cared about... maybe more than she should...

This started from some headcanons for a transboy Haru thing and now I have a mini arcana swap with the most gender team of teens ever so. Here

Fool/World - non binary Futaba, they/them, don't have much for them yet

Lovers - tranfemme Akira, she/they, wears glasses, first year on hormones, she doesn't talk much outside of the metaverse, but is a mad flirt

Chariot - trans Ann, she/her! She and Shiho are volleyball players, she isn't allowed to play for the school cause of her birth sex, but she and Shiho play for a little local rec team after the first arc, been on hormones since 14, her parents are rich and supportive

Emperor - nonconforming/genderqueer Makoto, any pronouns, preference for they or he. Was a goody goody stuck under Kobayakawa's thumb, but the Thieves help them out and the week after the confession, they show up to school in an oversized plaid jacket and pants, a new gender identity, and hair more choppy, parted more like Sae's, more grunge. Eventually they'll try binding and do it once and a while

Priestess - trans man Ryuji, he/him. He's at Kosei, athletic scholarship, his fellow athletes fall for scams and he has to solve it. He's been out since he was 15 (he's 16/17) but can't afford hormones so he's doing masc workouts and everything he can naturally do

Hermit - genderfluid Yusuke (she/they/he, alternative day from day). Again, not much for this one, sorry

Empress - demigirl Hifumi, she/they. Also at Kosei, she takes Haru's original role, and her mom is a lot worse in this. That's, pretty much what I have for her rn

And, the other two arcana that I've worked out

Star - transboy Haru, he/him. Transition started at 12, he got top in his second year, and of course, dating Makoto. They introduce him to Futaba, and the star social link is about Haru wanting to garden. He's a soft kinda guy, but he's scary with a bat

Death - Sae, cis. Happy Niijima siblings. Thats the reason.

[my favoritest persona fanfic ever I think so hard all the time about this author's writing style and how the characters are written how they handle trauma and growing up and moving on from all the Things that happened in the year they were phantom thieves. the way akechi and jokers relationship is written & the way their arcs are written . this is both a great take on the characters and persona 5 and also a very well written Story in general with well executed Plot and Arcs. Everything else by this author is also fire.]

Akechi realizes that he was tricked into killing a cognitive Ren in time to return and kill the real one. When he wakes up the next day, it's November 20th again, and he is a very stubborn man.

Ryuji x Yusuke. This one honestly came outta nowhere, and I largely have @forfeitsouls to blame because she helped me see the vision while I was playing through Persona 5. They're the two most misunderstood characters out of all the Phantom Thieves; of COURSE they're going to be drawn to one another. The bold and brash coupled with the quiet and awkward? I love a good opposites attract ship. It's my OTP for Yusuke. <3

Akira/Ren x Yusuke. Obviously. Yusuke always calls the protag his muse and draws immense inspiration from him. Also thinks he's beautiful, lmfao, and let's not forget the fact that the protag is a HUGE reason why Yusuke was able to break off and heal from Madarame, and begin to see the fruits of his own labor and talents. If Atlus wasn't so afraid of putting GHEY pairings into their games, I honestly believe both Ryuji and Yusuke would have been romance options, and it would have worked.

Akechi x Yusuke. This one was another unexpected one that I give credit to @quillheel for. They w o r k. They just... WORK. The misunderstood, lonely (whether he wants to admit it or not) outcast who had an absolutely horrible childhood paired with the OTHER misunderstood, lonely outcast who ALSO had a horrible childhood? Yet, the former is far more hardened, far more guarded and broken, but here comes Yusuke weaseling his way past every single defense and just... existing. Acting as a soft, reliable presence and quiet company for Akechi... being THERE for him when nobody else has been? Give it ALLLLLL to me.

Hifumi x Yusuke. I just think they'd be adorable together. ;_; <3

HEY IMPORTANT POST ABOUT MY P5 FANFIC!!!!

It’s a long one so I’m adding a cut for people who don’t read my fic <3

TLDR: do you want a side fic which is a series of one-shots showing an alternate timeline of my main fic which includes the Royal characters Sumire and Maruki?

That fic would not be written for a while, due to time and other factors, but I want to gauge interest early on so I can make an outline

So I don’t plan on including the Royal characters or yaldy/god (I don’t feel like googling how to spell his name) in my fic (dw I already have an explanation for the velvet room that doesn’t include the evil god) in my main fic

I have several reasons, but it all boils down to the fact that their storylines don’t fit well with my vision for the fics themes and plot. It would be interesting, but it would feel too much like trying to fit two separate fics together and would end up dragging both sides down and creating a worse overall whole. My fic is primarily about akechi and Akira’s stories, and that story ends at Shido. Adding on anything else would simply not work.

But I LOVE Sumire so so much, and maruki is fine I guess, so I’m debating on whether to include an alt-timeline side fic (wayyyyy down the line when I have time and at least 15 chapters pre written in the main fic) where I include Sumire and maruki. It would be like a one-shot series, since if I wrote a whole ass fix it would A) be way too fucking long, and B) really boring because not much would change between it and the main fic

I’d either post it all consecutively over a few weeks, or a new chapter alongside whatever chapter in the main fic lines up with the alt chapter in the timeline.

Also don’t plan on including yaldy except if it’s super vague and I don’t include the fight scene cause I think it’s boring and I hate writing fight scenes anyway.

To give an idea about what the fic would look like, here’s some ideas I’ve come up with for one shots in the side fic below:

Maruki’s dream lives for the mains (aka the canon PTs + Sumire + Mishima

maruki’s dream-verse waking up scenes

How Sumire meets akira and Mishima and they be fired her and introduce her to akechi and they become a big depressed dysfunctional family

Sumire persona awakening (it’d be different from canon)

Sumire being a sort of work-for-hire persona user that works with the main trio when they need more hands, but who doesn’t usually work with them since she’s so busy

Sumire accidentally being adopted by akechi and futaba as a third sibling (none of them are happy about it except Sumire even tho she’s not the one that instigated this dynamic)

Sumire becoming good friends with ryuji and shiho because she’s just so much fun to work out with and she makes the physical therapy tolerable (this ends up making her Ann’s favourite [after shiho of course])

Futaba high-key judging maruki because she remembers enough from her mom to know that he is NOT a qualified person to be talking about psychology, not to mention working with children as a therapist

Maruki tells Mishima to get more sleep and Mishima is soooo offended by that, and then after the dream-verse is even more offended because HELL FUCKING NO HE DOESNT WANT WHATEVER SLEEP THIS CREEP IS TRYING TO SELL HIM

Regardless it’ll be a WHILE, I’m already super busy and adding a whole new fic on top of that will be a big deal, and I haven’t even got an outline yet plus most of these one shots would take place a whiles a way down the timeline and I’d rather have a grasp on what that would look like in the main fic before I add a second layer of canon divergence on top of that.

I personally DO NOT see the Protags as self inserts. I think they all have their own personalities. So I don’t really have any self insert ships were I ship them just because I want to date a character, but I do understand some people have those.

Akira and Goro are a massive call back to Tatsuya and Jun from Persona 2, and Tatsuya and Jun are written with the intent to be romantic. Though I think after the third semester I usually don’t have to explain why I feel like Akira and Goro is an obvious Ship, it’s one of those you can totally have a different preference but you understand what I'm getting at right?

I reeeally hope I don’t have to explain that Futaba and Akira are in sibling dynamic so Shipping them would be gross.

Kasumi’s infatuation with Akira makes ZERO SENSE. The only people who see through your delinquent deguise is Goro (because soulmates narrative foil) and Ryuji (who doesn’t see through he’s just a good boy who trusts everyone), so Kasumi seeing through it makes NO SENSE. If she were to follow anyone around saying “Senpei” I think it would be Makoto.

Rise’s feral one sided thirsty crush on Souji is very funny to me (and I love playing it for comedy) but I don’t think he would ever reciprocate it. Her love just feels a bit too superficial, and Souji has too many issues of not being seen for himself for me to like it as a Ship.

I do think Yukari had a crush on Minato and I think Minato would be willing to try dating her, but I feel their love languages would be too different and it would end in disaster. Minato seems like the little actions and subtle comfort where Yukari seems like she would want big romantic gestures (something Mitsuru would do for her).

I will say with all Persona Romance Routes I am very much not a Fan of the Pandering that is “Girl likes you for no real reason” (it’s honestly just a boring Romance to me) and would’ve liked if more of the Girls just weren’t Romanceable so we could just have more Male/Female Friendships. I feel (aside from the stand out VERY BAD ones) a lot of the Romance Routes aren’t that bad, just don’t mesh well with the Tone and Tension of the rest of the Game (they’re kind Mundane and Boring in comparison to the Relationships I ACTUALLY Ship). But my Opinion on Persona Romance Routes as a whole would be a completely different discussion than Ships.

Update cause I forgot:

It’s necessary to say this so I don’t get Canceled; Hamuko and Minato are Canonically Two Halves of the Same Soul, some people choose to see that as Siblings and some people choose to see that as Soulmates. I used to prefer Siblings but now I prefer Soulmates. Either is fine but don’t mix em is all.

When I say Kasumi I usually actually mean Sumire. Sorry it’s partly cause it’s a Spoiler and partly cause I never got in the Habit of calling her by her Real Name. So unless Specific Context assume when I say Kasumi I mean Sumire. I just don’t feel like going back and changing it everywhere I’ve said it.

He does have some relatives on his mom's side in Britain, but they don't want anything to do with him, as they never approved of his father. As for non-blood related family, Sojiro Sakura is someone he sees as his father in most verses, and the Phantom Thieves are basically family in his eyes.

SIBLINGS: None biologically, but Futaba and Morgana (since he can't really consider him a pet) are definitely who he sees as his siblings. You could also put a lot of his counterparts/alternate Jokers here, as that is how he sees them in most instances.

Aaron is a mechanical engineering genius, able to combine the fantastical elements of cognitive psi-ence with modern technology to phenomenal results, and all with stuff he finds at thrift stores or dumpster diving. He's found ways to store cognitive magic to be remotely triggered later, to break cognitive magic down to its base elements, allowing it to be changed into a completely different element, and in Closer-to-Canon, store allied shadows onto cards to be used as one time use summons (albeit with the help of the Velvet Room). Outside of the cognitive, he's made various technical breakthroughs, such as nanotechnology, hover skates, kinetic energy storage, and more. (though most of these are done in his college/adult years) He's often able to reverse engineer advanced technology just by looking it, thanks to his in-depth knowledge of mechanics and his third eye, with the only exception he's come across so far being Anti-Shadow Weapons like Aigis.

On the topic of his powers, he's become quite an adept and agile fighter. With the help of his friends, specifically Makoto and Ryuji, he's learned a number of different fighting techniques and has come up with a wide range of uses for his abilities, creating a fighting style all his own. It's thanks to this, alongside the general oddities of his abilities in general, that he's been able to take down opponents far stronger than him. Even when he's outgunned or outmatched, he's never out for the count.

Futaba has also taught him some coding and computer science, but he's nowhere near her level.

Finally, we have his artistic side. He's been drawing blueprints for most of his life, and as such has become quite the skilled artist, able to sketch, carve, or mold any number of complex and detailed objects. Though, because of his roots in blueprints and mechanisms, he struggles with drawing animals or people. Unless they're deliberately simple or cartoonish, they tend to look either crude or uncanny, so he tries to avoid doing so whenever possible.

COLORS: Reds, blues, blacks, with accents of white, at least for himself. In general, anything vibrant and colorful is something he'll enjoy, especially if contrasting colors are used, to make things stand out more. He's also quite fond of the colors associated with his teammates.

SMELLS: Sweets, flowers, fruits, fresh produce, coffee and curry, mechanical oil, metal, plastic, (basically anything he'd typically smell when working on a project at his desk), and sweat (in specific contexts). GET 'EM!!," metal clanking together, screws or bolts being fastened into place, gears and mechanisms working as designed, the whir of Iwai's 3D Printer in the backroom of the shop, the bell chiming at Leblanc when one of his friends arrive, and the voices of his loved ones.

TEXTURES: The materials of his costume, the rubber grips on his tool handles, the softness of his bed after a long night out, the polished metal of a finished project, and if he's dating someone, the feeling of their skin and hair, especially the skin on their hands.

If you can't tell, a lot of his favorite things are in some way related to things or people that he loves. He's a very sentimental guy, and he loves the people in his life so much, that anything that reminds him of them is something he'll enjoy
