does anybody else feel like the honey is a bit of a red herring?

i think, if anything, kipperlily might be holding on to it as a fail safe. i think the rat grinders may have used it regarding lucy frostblade’s death, to cover it up within their party.

but i genuinely can’t see why or rather logistically HOW she could get the entire student body to believe a single lie (unless she has even more fucked up mind tricks up her sleeve, which she probably does but for 100+ people??) — there’s just too many people! some may notice, some may pass a check or just not eat the honey. i think there’s too many points to fail at brainwashing the entire student body for her to take that risk.

that is, unless she is getting desperate. i think from the preview for episode 14, she may be reaching some kind of breaking point or frustration i suppose. but i think she may just be petty.

i feel like the way the honey was introduced and then promptly dropped by brennan means that they probably gathered most of the information from it they could at that moment.

kipperlily is keeping the honey on hand, maybe as a failsafe, but she definitely used it on her party so they couldn’t get caught for killing their party member - or whatever that situation was. that is the information needed, which served to block up “why is lucy dead?” and “who killed her?” from a narrative perspective.

i think it’ll be brought up more the next campaign event we see from her, maybe next episode!!

I simply REFUSE to hear siobhan thompson slander her performance in the acoc village battle as just exploring and stealing lol does she understand how fucking badass everything ruby did there was???? the ruby and amethar teamwork there was one of the most mechanically incredible moments I have ever witnessed and the fact that lou and siobhan were able to perfectly roleplay out the mechanics to match their characters’ relationship is truly unmatched like amethar screaming “ruby!! LETS! GO!” in the most parent voice ever and ruby yelling back “i’m COMING!!!” while lou uses his feat (?) to give ruby more movement is one of the most brilliant hilarious heartwarming well played and acted moments in dimension 20 and I think about it all the time. “I just ran around stealing shit” SIOBHAN THEY WERE PLOT CRUCIAL DOCUMENTS THAT WAS SO SICK AND SO IMPORTANT GIVE YOURSELF SOME CREDIT I know she was joking but still lol genuinely one of the most interesting combat moments in dimension in my humble opinion and I will not be quiet about it

something i genuinely will always love about fig's character is that she will always stand up for the outcasts or people who aren't considered "cool". like without even missing a beat fig immediately goes to play twister with mazey because ivy wanted to put her down for even suggesting it. it genuinely is one of the best parts of her character and i adore it so much.
