GUSEV: The dominant family line of Drezna that rose to power through Konstantin Gusev & has remained in power since. The Gusev's have always had a tenuous relationship with Grisha at best. The Grisha were first seen as weapons to be used, then tentative allies, and finally back to mortal enemies per King Viktor. BILAN: Konstantin Gusev's wife Angelina's line of descendents. This line has the closest ties with the Gusev monarch and has been fierce supporters of them since their family lines were first united. Their family line is known for producing scholars & their current head of household is Emilia Bilan who is a royal advisor to King Viktor. The Bilan family sees the use of Grisha, but they would never go against a decision made by the Gusev monarch. TITOVA: Galina's line of descendants and considered the first royal Grisha line. The Titova's do not have a speck of power anymore. Most, if not all, are dead & the rest have gone into hiding except for Luna who is the current personal heartrender for King Viktor. They can be seen never too far from his side, and usually with eyes so sunken from extreme tiredness. This line is now in deep servitude to the Gusev's. DRYGA: Dominant family line of skilled warriors who are commanders & war leaders for the king's army. The current head of the house is Dimitri who is the military leader of Gusev's army. This is a predominantly bloodthirsty human line with a strong distaste for Grisha. ZHUK: Family line known for their charm as well as their skilled artistry. They are rich for their architectural designs as well as their paintings. Their most famous painting is a depiction of Konstantin Gusev plunging his sword into the leader of the South. They are a wealthy, influential family who have some sway in the current matters of politics. Their line has a strong stance against Grisha. KORIN: A wealthy family line that has been known to mingle with Grisha and even produce Grisha heirs. The current head of household is a human named Feliks and this family has quietly faded to the background; preferring to stay out of current affairs and remain neutral. The monarch only allows them to stay in Starosva for a steep price they will soon be collecting on. MISHIN: A once wealthy Grisha line that was wiped out completely in 2010 by the Gusev monarch. There are no known survivors. NECHAYEZ: Prominent household in the North who are known for their elaborate designs & distaste for Grisha. They aren't as involved in the politics or warfare but are considered to be a supporter of King Viktor through sizable donations of money. LYKTIN: A gifted human family line that are known for their skill in smuggling & trading in secrets. They are extremely wealthy from their less-than-savory acts of thievery and the current head of household, Boris Lyktin, is a royal advisor to King Viktor. They are impartial to Grisha as they see their use but also their unruliness. ZIMIN: A Southern family line who have been strong allies to the Gusev monarch as they were branded traitors for their war crimes against the South by revealing weak points in the Southern army. They used to live in Tahelka but now predominantly live in the East or North. They aren't as involved in the politics now as they've lost their biggest aid of knowing the South's secrets, but they still declare allyship with the monarch & stand against Grisha despite not really having a care either way regarding Grisha. The current head of house is Kristopher Zimin who lives in Starosva.

-The confirmation that Alastor’s also stuck working for someone, it has to be Lilith surely. I know some people will call it predictable because a lot of theories are coming true but personally I think it’s from good worldbuilding/foreshadowing

-More sweet moments between him and Husk, they’ve gotten me so invested in this ship so fast

-The fact that most of heaven didn’t know about the extermination?? Wild

-Idk how I feel about the timeskip between Ep 4&5, they’re only a month away from the extermination now. Yes it’s making the stakes feel higher but I do wish we’d been able to see more of that time for the relationship development, all the characters seem much closer than before and we’ve only seen bits of how they got there

-I really wish they’d greenlit more than 8 episodes to pace things a little better but I’m glad we have season 2 confirmed

-That last minute ‘reveal Vaggie’s past to Charlie, boot them out of heaven and then cut to credits before she can react’ is gonna torture me until next week

-I don’t disagree with past criticism that Vivzie’s female characters can feel a bit underwritten but I think it’s getting better

- I don’t think Simon as a person is as ruthless and cold as people make him out to be. He cares a lot about the people around him and locks in when necessary. He may be wary of people when he first meets them, but with the right amount of time and good conversation, he’d definitely be a good companion.

- He keeps work separate from his personal life. The way I see it, him wearing a mask on the field is to preserve his identity and to strike fear into enemies with the skull, like it had been done for him. He doesn’t wear a mask when he’s on leave because he’s Simon then, and people are gonna see him as some random big burly dude, not a soldier when he’s just walking the street.

- I’d say he would like some semblance of a normal life outside of work. By normal, I mean being able to have relationships, maybe get married, and after a lot of convincing, maybe have a kid. If he truly was going to stay alone for the rest of his life, there wouldn’t be as much of a need for him to be so secretive about his face (especially with his background). He has nothing to lose outside of the military. Sad to say, but his entire family is dead, and as far as we know lore-wise, all of his friends are dead except for 141.

- He’s confident and cocky. He’s not shy about his looks. He knows he has attractive features, and he definitely knows his capabilities. Simon is also bigger than most men and has a body sculpted by years of military training. He’s not shy about it. I can see him getting touchy about some of his scars just because they remind him of a dark point in his life, but he also reminds himself that he’s survived through them and takes them with a bittersweet feeling.

- Simon has a lot of mental issues and seems like the type of person to want to deal with them alone. If you were his significant other (you’d obviously have to be extremely close with him to get to that point), he’d tell you about his childhood. He talks about his trauma very casually like it never really affected him, but it subconsciously still hurts to think and talk about. He’ll trauma dump to a close friend/significant other and then think, “My life is kinda messed up.” Later on.

- If he suffers from night terrors or any type of sleeping ailments, I don’t believe he’d push his significant other away. He’d probably need a moment to collect himself because he’d be pretty dangerous in situations where he’s in a panic and isn’t thinking straight, but he’d definitely want to either stay close to you or hold you once he’s somewhat calmed down. He doesn’t mind being comforted; it’s just very foreign to him because he didn’t get much of it throughout his life. When he holds you, he likes to remind himself that he does have a piece of his mother in him and he isn’t 100% a monster. The softness he holds in the deepest parts of himself, he automatically associates them as traits passed from his mom.

- Simon is a soft man. He’d be very gentle as a significant other and as a father. He doesn’t yell or ever really raise his voice unless he’s pushed to a point. But he’d never want to be seen as anything similar to his dad.

- Now he may be soft most of the time, but if someone really pushes him, he can be petty and mean. When he gets angry, he doesn’t think and says things he doesn’t mean just to hurt the other person. He wouldn’t be like this towards his children if he had any, but there are definitely times where he’s argued with his significant other and thrown out a low blow. He’s someone that needs a lot of patience.

- A bit contradictory, but he has anger issues and that’s just that. Of course, he’ll keep level as much as possible, and he doesn’t yell often, but he definitely gets upset at a lot of little things. The someone spills a drink on him on accident, he has to take a moment to calm himself. His coat catches on the doorknob, and he’s gripping the wood tightly, just standing there fuming in silence.

- Carries candy in at least one of his pockets. Seems like the type to have a sweet tooth, and he especially falls into it after getting into a relationship or having a family. He used to just eat candies whenever he had a craving for them, but with an s/o or a family, he eats them whenever he feels he needs a cig or a drink. While sugar isn’t that good for you, he’d much prefer having that than dying of lung cancer or falling into addiction like his brother. He also likes baked goods purely for the fact that they have such a potent smell and can give his dreary apartment a comforting feel when he’s alone.

-He’s a gentle lover, doesn’t usually go rough unless asked or he’s upset. He likes to take his time when having sex since his work life is very fast-paced and high-stress. LITTLE LORE DUMP ABOUT LOAD OUT (for @sirveltic )

He, like most of my other ocs, was a Wrecker before the war!! Worked very closely with Humvee and Ranger, and the three remained good friends once they reunited in the Autobots

He’s not a father but gives off dad vibes. Very similar to TFP Optimus, where he’s very level headed and calm, but he’s more emotionally available. He cares very deeply for those around him, and while he doesn’t like to use violence to solve a problem, he will fiercely defend those he loves. Team Prime means a lot to him and he will put his life on the line for any of them without hesitation

He’s one of my few OCs who’s incredibly affectionate towards humans. Most of my OCs are indifferent or don’t like them, but he adores them. He finds them to be fascinating creatures, and the Prime kiddos mean the world to him. He immediately picks up a father like role when meeting them, especially to Jack

Despite his usual calm demeanor, he can be a very fun and energetic, especially when it comes to interacting with kids! He’d be the dad to make up sports and games to play with kids he’s around

Load Out’s never had a relationship before! He’s a very romantic bot and a casual flirt, but picked up his skills from being around others! He’s never gotten much of a chance to actually be with someone before

His weapon of choice is a set of pistols!! I have to design them but they’re pretty basic. He’s also got a whip he rarely uses as he thinks it’s “too cruel” even for Decepticons

As said before, Load Out had a sister who lost her life in the war. Not much is known about her, as he doesn’t talk about it often, and the mission she died on was a secret one. If a bot mentions her, Load Out gets a very sad look in his eyes, but always speaks of her affectionately with the few words he says.

His main love language is words of affirmation and gift giving. He loves spoiling others and making sure they know just how worthy of love and attention they are. He’s a hopeless romantic as well, always gazing longingly at whoever he’s interested in, his gaze showing his admiration and adoration of his partner

I have so many feelings about this finale.

So. Many.

I love that it subverted my expectations in the way that rwby so often does. They set up this episode as an intensely personal one. And it was, but not at all like I thought.

I expected a huge Summer lore dump. Instead we got one incredibly illuminating scene that raises a million other questions but more effectively spoke to Ruby and her pain than anything I could imagine.

I expected a long conversation where Ruby basically got therapy from the blacksmith but instead I saw something smaller, simpler: I saw Ruby realize that despite all of her flaws and pain and imperfections, she was enough. I saw her take a deep breath and rise from the lowest point of her life. And while the moment was triumphant, it wasn’t a magical waving away of her problems (though many so-called critics will claim it was). It was just her getting back up. It wasn’t the end of the journey, it was the beginning, and I love it.

So this happened and I had a moment where I felt lost. It was great, it all worked, but it was quick. What was going to happen for the remaining ten or so minutes? Elevator music?

Then I got hit with the lore dump I NEVER expected. I know I wasn’t alone in assuming that the Ever After was just some toy realm. In a way, I was right, but in every way that mattered, I was wrong.

I never expected to learn of the origin of the Brothers.

I never expected to find out that the Ever After is basically the origin point of the Remnant multiverse.

And I never expected that the tree and the blacksmith were the true creator(s) of it all. I had assumed the smith was powerful in her little pocket dimension, but nothing more. Instead it turns out she casually made some gods then (created?) set them off into a wider universe when they grew bored, all so they could learn and grow.

And she knows about those worlds. She knows about Remnant. She knows when RWBY will be needed and intentionally sent them to that point in time and space. She clearly isn’t one to interfere directly, but I think it’s equally clear she isn’t unwilling to sway things.

I also don’t think she approves of what her creations have done, how they’ve comported themselves. She’s such a different image of a god, and now that we’ve seen her the brothers seem so small and petulant.

Where they are big and flashy she is quiet and simple. Where they are brash and demanding, she is patient and helpful. She is everything one could wish a god to be, while they destroyed a planet and left a woman that they made immortal to wander its surface alone for millennia.

Because she hurt their feelings.

And they believe they can stand and judge humanity?

The implications of the new cosmology are fascinating. I feel like we will see the brothers again, and likely even their creator, and it could be glorious.

Then again, this show loves to subvert my expectations, so who knows?

I can’t wait to find out!

i drew her in a silly trans dress,,,,also circuit lore dump approaching since i submitted her to @sonic-fankid-showdown and havent talked abt her enough,,,

ok so,,,,circuit is a metal sonic/chaos sonic fankid so im starting there because its not the most common of pairs,, essentially they met when nine found a way to build a portal out of the shatterverse to explore sonic's dimension, and allied with eggman temporally since he was the first person nine found,figuring he'd be as easy to con as the chaos council. nine brought chaos sonic with him as a bodyguard and that was when metal sonic got to become accustomed to and annoyed with the new sonic copy since metal cant sass him back. in his infiltration of the empire,nine also may have tampered with metal sonic when he researched the empire's database and realised how useful a fully functional/independent neo metal sonic could be,and after some fallout between metal sonic and eggman, metal took chaos sonic and nine for her own goals,,,and she fr just wins and even gets her own tails little brother,,,,,also that annoying new robot sonic,

by some miracle and a bit of shared romantic deforestation for her new robotic kingdom,,,metal sonic and chaos sonic found themselves being able to stand each other and got together soon after because why not,,they do understand each other best and i imagine that they can be cute together sometimes,

on her own, circuit is pretty chill,and while shes usually quiet,,she enjoys being silently compassionate and tags along with her friend group.her name is an acronym for "Constructed Individual Revered and Cared for Unconditionally In Tenderness" in a moment of emotional weakness from metal sonic and chaos sonic when they first saw her crawling around,,and circuit seems to have been positively influenced by her having such proud and loving parents,and can be fiercely protective of her family if she perceives there too be a threat to their lives,,which includes nine or the other fankid metal secretly takes care of

circuit comes in when neo metal sonic learned that sonic and shadow were having a kid,,and feeling a bit envious of sonic still,utilizing her shapeshifting liquid metal,neo metal created a way to make a robot that can grow just like an organic being from baby to adult,using randomly selected traits from her and chaos sonic to influence how itd be built and develop. (the pg visual is that she built a slot machine or smth to determine if the baby would get vent freckles or quill patterns,,,,)

circuit was fully constructed into a baby robot the same day mordred hatched,,and metal sonic soon forgot about it completely with how obsessed she became with her new kid,and it took two weeks for her to even leave her castle to brag about it to sonic,

anyway,,with some shared babysitters as they grew up together,circuit and mordred formed their own rivalry,and as they both grew into formidable fighters in their own right,their fights have only gotten more intense and violent,,even if they can casually hang out sometimes. circuit on her own doesnt quite understand or control her need to beat mordred into a pulp,and it can only be blamed on mordred being sonics kid and circuit being genetically programmed with a mission to destroy sonic,,and in this case,his son.

These were all part lore dumps that I never gave more details for her character I just want people to know that she aint dead. Yet.

Lets just say her Human body became permanent right after PV created it just for her. In order for the body to deform and revert back to goop- the USB had to be broken.

The USB is supposedly attached INSIDE of her right hand- (I didn't included that because it mightve been a bit too gore-ish black-)

She had those clear milk skin, more of a brownish color hair, and also heterochromia eyes.

And ofcourse, Four's favorite color. Blue. The thought of matching colors with your partner would've been a thing by now for her.

In the end of the plot- she was different than that- she considered to be one of those good people who change for the better. (This was her second option)

SMG3 is just jealous when she's around with him but doesn't say a word, remains to be silent all the time.

The clear skin is supposed to be vitiligo and such as her eyes are like bright blue ones. She wears casual clothes than the overalls.

Heather uses She/Her pronouns. Her sexuality is undefined.

SHORTER THAN SMG4! She is genuinely a nice person (even at the end) but since I didn't like the plot of soft- I erased her full character and made a new one for TAG6 as a replacement.

Heather died happily and accepted her fate.

The flowers symbolize as the main characters:

TAG6's LORE:

She had tanned skin and a curly brunette hair. Just by looking at her eyes you KNOW there's something up with it.

Unlike anyones white eyes, they have one more of a yellow-ish detail of color. The overalls are part of what the usb could copy just like Three and Four's main one.

For TAG6, their Human Body is temporary. By what Puzzles made for her has a limit due to the USB's capacity. With that said- the USB is right inside of her. To function it must be there.

Tag6 is shown to have a mean trait- tho she never loved SMG4 at all and to anyone else she doesn't like anyone that they encounter.

The lilac filled on their eyes have somekind of hypnotism when people stare at it. (It may work for some but it doesn't work all of the time)

I thought of making her whole appearance give out the lilac theme due to the mixture of RED and BLUE.

(Which is aka SMG3 and SMG4's eye color and since they helped each other out to finish the usb I think they shared some of their links)

Tho TAG6 does have a yellow appearance in its Combat mode.

Tag6 uses she/they/it pronouns. Its orientation is Aromantic.

THEY'RE SLIGHTLY TALLER THAN SMG4! (Suprisingly this doesn't bother him at all since any woman/men is what he'd prefer-)

And since SMG3 is different to act here when with TAG, he starts up an arguement calling her as weak/selfish than she already is. Causing them to piss off and smash his face with its hammer to the air.

Tag6 can be a bit more impatient, they may look like they're a nice person in general but literally they do it for attention and to get what they're willing to succeed.

But in reality behind their mask they turn out to be the cold hearted, uncaring, hateful, disgusted, and a negative being out of all existance.

At the end of the plot they didn't give a damn when it came to SMG4 she just wanted to finish the mission for its master. But since it failed, she never cared anymore less rather than punching insults at Four.

She gives out the color of Lavender which also is close to main purple (because Purple is SMG3's color signature as well-) TAG6 is basically a copy of that color as well.

They started to invade my mind I had to get rid of them by making content. (Eat the people who liked the shitty doodle i made with my fingers most likely for the art itself. Eat for you have been starved)

This is sometime when they meet for like the first time maybe idk really. But yall do get a full design of Galvatron. Win! Warning lore dump below (I made most of it up)

I think what I'm going to do with them is I'm going to have them meet on the feild once or twice then have Galvatron kidnap Ratchet on like the third meet up because he's been thinking about him too much and Megatron's there now and too busy having homoerotic tension with Optimus to notice him leaving with the most wanted mech on the planet. Then Galvy is like "my boy said you were working on this formula thing idk I wasn't paying attention but it sound useful so make it for me." Then Ratchet's all like "why would I make you something that could destroy more of what I love than what your son already has?" I think this image would fit better after the take and run... whatever. I think Ratchet would have some tension with Galvatron at first because 1) he made Megatron, and 2) All the bad and crazy shit from Galvatron dropped straight down to Megatron. Like everything he hates about Megsy times 10. I also think after their maybe two to three conversations he would have the same problem as Galvy and start thinking about him way too much.

Galvatron would try to get on the medic's good side though by just casually rizzing him up because my boy Ratty is not hiding his crush while Galvs is. They do grow on eachother and Ratchet does end up working on Synth-En (which goes by a lot faster due to the technological advancement). This is around the time that Galvatron starts letting his crush come out a little. They would hang out more and stuff. At some point they're just attached at the hip flirting because tlnither are ready to make it official.

I also think that the reason Galvatron went to earth in the first place is that he is also taking that space crack (dark energon) and Unicron told him to sort out Megs for disobedience or something. As you can clearly see I have nothing planed out and I'm already picturing the two getting walking in on by Megatron (they're holding hands. It take forever before Ratchet starts doing stuff) so take this dump and live your life.

Digimon Frontier - Episode 34

A lore dump episode. It wasn't bad, but I had trouble focusing as they blabbed on and on lol. Lots of nice background art at least. A needed break from all the boring gray backgrounds they've been throwing at us.

Notes:

The Venus Rose sky kinda looks like the Northern lights that everyone in the States have been memeing about. Appropriate timing!

It doesn't seem like there's any rhyme or reason whether they digivolve into their human or beast spirit form first. They definitely favor the human form (maybe it's still easier to control?)

Koichi got his own digivolution sequence which, though appreciated, felt kind of weird because they had a split screen for Takuya and Koji and then a 3 way screen for Junpei, Izumi, and Tomoki. They could have just stuck Takuya, Koji, and Koichi together, but I guess the rival characters have to be separate?

Nice to finally meet Ophanimon and hear the same story we heard previously from their point of view. Not sure we needed to hear the whole war story over again, but oh well. It's probably for the kids that missed those episodes lol.

I really like Ophanimon's design/colors. Fascinated by their hair that is brunette/red at the top but blonde at the bottom. Is that even hair? Maybe just part of their helmet? It kinda looked like a mullet in some scenes lol

Lowemon is casually OP, single handedly dealing with the Phantomon. I wonder when Koichi will get to the stage where he feels more comfortable with the group.

MC Escher strikes again! This time in Cherubimon's palace. They sure love doing those kinds of backgrounds in anime.

I was a little surprised they didn't acknowledge Patamon in the scene with Ophanimon, but I guess maybe Ophanimon already knows the situation.

We learn some more about Ophanimon, Seraphimon, and Cherubimon's roles as rulers and the drama that arose from having two human-types out numbering one beast type. That does seem pretty unbalanced, they shoulda gone with an even number lol

So wait, when Cherubimon ~went to the dark side~ was that considered a digivolution? Can you digivolve into a different color palate cuz you're angry? lol

Ophanimon's plan to get the children to the digital world sounded pretty far fetched but I liked the explanation for how the kids were guided to their spirits. The destinations Ophanimon gave them via the digivices make a little more sense.

Izumi being like "I wonder if Cherubimon was in love with Ophanimon" took me by surprise. Like "huh?? That's what you got from the story?" Was that foreshadowing or was that just showing Izumi's romantic side?

They are so invested in it and it’s so fun to see them doing longform gameplay and just chilling. They’re so supportive of eachother and Phil is clearly super nostalgic and acts like a big brother all eager to explain. It’s cute to see him revert to some piece of his younger self and I love that dan delighted and just fully goes with it.

i'm not trying to say the way their relationship is in canon is bad, because kagami just had different priorities in the story. i don't think a casual reader would think anything is missing, but i spend a lot of time thinking about these characters specifically so naturally i'd want to fill in the gaps.

right off the bat i think the way shinya introduces himself to guren is kind of... odd. it's his thing to mask his feelings and intentions, so for him to immediately overshare and dump all of that onto guren first chance he gets feels rushed and, quite frankly, out of character. even if he really wanted guren as an ally, it would have made more sense to observe a whole lot more first and try to gain his trust more slowly. imagine how much more charming it would have been if guren had thought shinya to be a spoiled hiiragi brat at first, and only slowly realised that hey, he's like me. the scene where seishiro punches him in the face would have been perfect for this. or, you know those scenes where a character accidentally lets something slip or moves in a way that reveales bruises or wounds they have and then they stand there awkwardly not knowing how to react? it's cheesy but i love fondue so it's fine.

one thing that i've seen in fanfiction a couple of times is shinya being ashamed of his past in the training facility, and intentionally never mentioning it to guren (thinking he, the selfless saviour of the ichinose, would be disgusted at his selfishness). and i really like this idea! shinya having tried so hard to be guren's friend and not wanting it to be destroyed. guren finding out and being horrified, not at shinya but at the hiiragi, because what the fuck are they doing to little children? the conversation that would have to follow after. it'd be intriguing development where they'd both have to open up and be honest. but recently as i was rereading the novels i realised that guren just... already knows about the trials. i can't even remember where exactly it was mentioned, but it's there in a side sentence, casual, without a second thought. booooo. boring. huge missed opportunity.

... which also leads into the next point. because even in resurrection, even when they call each other 'best friend', guren never really thinks about shinya. and i know how this sounds - of course he thinks about him! like, literally all the time! but what guren thinks about is how he needs him, how he wants him to live, how he doesn't want to exist without him, but he never really thinks about shinya himself. normally, you'd want to know about your best friend's life, try to be there for them, worry about their wellbeing. in canon, this is never considered. shinya doesn't ask for support, guren doesn't give it. i get that this is a really complicated issue considering that before the catastrophe they're mostly not that close and guren has like a million different problems to deal with & after the catastrophe his biggest concern is keeping shinya alive, but i did come up with a solution for this (sorry i went on a tangent there again the shinsanity is getting to me). so what shinya often does is put guren's goals and wishes above is own (be that by not being able to figure out what he wants and helping guren achieve his goals instead (canon) or quite literally being in love with him but never acting on or even acknowledging it (interpretation)). shinya knows that guren has a horrible case of saviour complex, has watched him repeatedly destroy himself to try and save someone else. so it would make total sense if he, having devoted himself to supporting guren, didn't want to become the reason he gets hurt. it would make for a horribly sad situation because there is no way guren would want to accept this but it plays right into his need to keep shinya at a distance, so there's nothing he can do about it.
