today I learned that "Jean Vicquemare" is pronounced Je-ohn Vic-qu-maar. Like the french way. Not jeans, as in the cool everyday style pants👖 .

At first I was in shock. Then I wanted to keep pronouncing his name as 'Jean' to disrespect him. Besides, didn't the Narrator and Judit call him "Jean" and not "John" anyways?

Then I thought about it more, and went, "Wait, his name is fucking JOHN? As in, super lameass bitchass generic binoclard John? And not the cool hip unique memorable name i never heard of until Disco Elysium? What a LOSER >:D"

So now, armed with this new knowledge, I pronounce Jean's name correctly in a mocking tone.

OC Posting #1 - S (Reference)

Warnings for this post: Depictions of scars, very mild depictions of blood (oil, in this case), mentions of violence and disabling of a character, Spoilers for Murder Drones (especially episode 6)

To start off proper posting, I'd like to introduce my main Murder Drones OC, S!! To make things easier for casual scrollers who couldn't care less, his references and basic info will be below the cut.

The general information is written on the ref sheet itself. To elaborate, though, the four arms and antennae come from his design inspiration, a mud dober. The "second gen" DD comes from the idea that the AbsoluteSolver is a learning algorithm and would correct the original designs over time, which is why he looks a little different from the DDs in the show.

S is also the pilot of his squad, which is why he's wearing a fighter pilot jacket. Each badge was inspired by the typical badges on a regular fighter pilot jacket, with a blue and yellow theme.

These last two are alternates showing off the damage he sustained from the sentinels down in the labs, the reasoning for his blindness and missing arm. For more information about that event, you can check his toyhouse page!! The basic story, though, is that Finley's character X1 wanted to explore the labs and S went with to keep him safe, though they both ended up getting jumped by sentinels.

That about wraps up S, though he'll certainly be appearing quite frequently in my other posts. You can see my friend Finley's blog for stuff about his best friends X1 and F. R's creator doesn't have a tumblr from what I know, but she is linked on S's toyhouse.
