Finally started demon slayer and Uzui has rapidly joined my list of favorite characters for many reasons but one of the main reasons is he he really said 'don't fucking touch me. I'm retiring and my wives and I are walking our fine asses home.'

Something about Xie Lian´s whole story being about it just taking one person believing in you, being kind to you and just being there to reassure you. And Hua Cheng being exactly that, even, if hidden in the shadows.

Something about Mu Qing never truly being believed by higher ups and friends alike, always being second guessed and constantly being accused of having evil intentions no matter how kind his actions are. And never having anyone (but his mother and maybe the children that both don’t really count) believe in him, and thus having to believe in himself, even if he is his own sole believer.

It genuinely just takes one person. Even if if it´s you. Especially if it´s you.
