I’m not posting that ask. Ignore this post it’s for the person who keeps harassing me despite the fact that I blocked them.

Of course I’ve fucking thought about it, what the fuck do you think I was doing during that time??? My torture was knowing that my actions hurt you terribly, AND that you hurt me just the same and didn’t give a shit. We’re both guilty of the same crime and you don’t care. You’re hypocrisy is unbearable. Look in a fucking mirror and gain some self awareness. Everything you call me applies to you dumbass. I know I’m not innocent, do you? What’s the saying again...don’t throw stones in glass houses?

Remember those months where you refused to have that NECESSARY talk about what happened between us? When you gave me the false hope that you might feel like talking eventually and somehow find a resolution to all this? Remember when I offered to let you beat me to a pulp for what I did? Or are you intentionally ignoring the fact that I felt so guilty about what happened that I violently hated myself, and wanted to be “punished” for what I did. I still carry that guilt with me because I cared about you and hated the fact that I hurt the most important person in my life at the time. But it’s much easier for you to ignore that fact so you can re-frame yourself as the only victim. After all, you didn’t do anything bad right? Woe is you and I couldn’t possibly understand. It’s not like I went through something similar caused by someone who I trusted...right? It’s not like you literally admitted to doing fucked up shit to me, AFTER you dragged me through all those months making me think I was the only guilty one, right?

It’s obvious that you DON’T carry any guilt at all, even though we both did the same thing to each other. If I hurt you I’m an asshole but when you hurt me it doesn’t count? Fucking hypocrite. I still have all your text messages so don’t you dare call me delusional when I have all the fucking evidence. Gaslighting me isn’t gonna fucking work. It’s your word against yours.

I’ve also talked to other people in that time and they’ve shared their stories about you. You have a terrible reputation and it’s NOT because of me. It’s because people talk when they’re treated terribly. Word spreads around. Consequences follow EVERY action. That’s why WHAT you do matters so damn much. That’s why I hated myself after what I did. That’s part of why I was traumatized. I KNEW the impact that I had. Do you know the impact you’ve made on me? I’ll keep repeating that question until it gets through your skull.

In case you’ve forgotten: neither of us are innocent, both of us are guilty of the exact same thing. The only difference is that you’re still incapable of holding yourself accountable, and throw the blame on others. You’re like this because of SOMEONE ELSE, not because of YOU, right? You didn’t do anything wrong, it’s always someone else’s fault. So did someone else keep harassing me by sending messages on tumblr telling me they want me dead? Did someone else emotionally manipulate me? Did someone else traumatize me? Or were you not in control? Were you just “bored and…….” I’m not finishing that, but you know what I’m alluding to. Asshole.

I’m gonna tell you this directly: pull your head out of your ass, and fix yourself. You dug yourself into a hole and now you have to pull yourself out of it. These are the consequences to your actions, so deal with them. I want you out of my life but you don’t want that huh? I offered to help you initially but you didn’t want that either. Sure is selfish of me to wanna fix the problems I caused huh? Caring about the friends you hurt is such a dick move right? It’s sooooo manipulative of me to try and hold myself accountable.

Nettles's story matters because of her lack of privilege. Because of the place she comes from. Because her heritage is left up in the air. The valyrians were shepherds before they were dragonriders and there's an inherent power to this person who was a nobody taming a wild dragon in a way the valyrians first could have attempted when they discovered dragons. She tamed Sheepstealer the way anyone might try to tame a wild animal, feeding and building a bond with him gradually. It can never be given to another character and have the same effect, especially if said character is the highborn daughter of two powerful families. She was literally just a girl and she tamed Sheepstealer and that story loses all of its power when it's Daem on's trueborn daughter whose own dragon hatching for her was meaningful in its own way, imo.

what's up, im still spiralling during this rewatch and i have been considering how miss loathing and the house of wayward interests is INSANE.

what makes these children different? these aren't the grown distractions that the fix has to handle, these are beings that the fix cares about. liking magic, reptiles, the bass, all of these are hobbies or things that elias has likely Hyperfixated on.

(also do we think that Fix and Lance are related like Self Loathing and Self Doubt their first name is their family name?)

ANYWAY, when the fix said that there is a lot of life left, that these kids can be chosen. self loathing implies that he would be the one to adopt them. but that makes Sense. the fix is a concept that doesn't consider himself powerful outside of a physical sense but he, like A. Tension, is a representation of what the Big Guy cares about. And the fix is currently owned basically by Bition.

But even he gets distracted. He goes to Miss Loathing's and he sees these kids just like Elias has solid his soul to the company but still knows all these animal facts.

These kids aren't just in the city either. They are actively watched by Self-Loathing. Every kid that the Fix sees is also shadowed by Loathing, Elias hates himself when he loses focuses. When he goes down those paths, thinking about reptiles or has fun with a deck of cards, or even listens to a sick bassline.

But this also shows a change for Conrad. Conrad lived in Miss Loathing's home for a while. He, like all the other kids, were shadowed by Self-Loathing within Elias. UNTIL, he met and adopted JUSTIFICATION. Then he became a super weak voice in the back of his head. Just a bit more awareness still buried under Nothing, until one random impulse followed by an air of curiosity suddenly set everything off.

And Bition made his own downfall or saving grace by sending the Fix to Conrad. Miss Loathing said it, focusing on her only makes her stronger. Focusing on your conscience? You suddenly can't stop thinking about it. Makes it louder, bolder. God I love this season.

I thought the early 2000s "strong yet naked/mostly naked woman kept in her place by stronger, bigger, beast/monster or gang of racist caricatures" trope* was known by basically everyone but I mentioned it as a criticism of this older art book I'd flipped through recently to a friend and it turns out it isn't lol Maybe I've just read too many Heavy Metal issues... It used to be HORRIBLY inescapable in any sort of mature art scene back in the day lmao

*This trope is different from the pre-2000s one because the women usually look like they COULD fight back for at least a little bit whereas the previous trope had them be completely helpless damsels in distress

the prototypical child and or grown man who greatly misinterprets fight club has a preternatural hold on most tumblr fight clubber's minds and i think it's time we all let it go... firstly if you're imagining a 13 year old please realize that dunking on 13 year olds because they have bad critical reading skills is more and more pathetic the older you get. secondly even if these people exist they're not on tumblr and will not be disturbed by your actions because they'll never see them. thirdly, defining yourself and your interpretation in Opposition to another without taking care to understand why that interpretation developed beyond 'well they're just evil' will only leave you cut off from people. it is better even, to understand exactly why they think terrible things, what leads them to it, than to just dismiss it and position yourself as the good to their bad guy, defined by doing whatever you consider opposite. fourthly? fourth? using 'this movie is GAY and or liked by women actually, ooga booga, you're gonna HATE that hahaha' as an argument reinforces the idea that these things are stigmatized and things they should hate, and even contributes to the (very flawed) perception that these things are 'stealing' from them, and once again reinforces negativity. it's pointless. certainly, write your analyses and reference the interpretation, even analyze it, but take care to consider whether you're acting on solid ground or performing against an unpresent bogeyman for the cheers of your peers, and consider whether you want to gain cred by shitting on others, even if it's the conceptual ghost of a shit person.

I don't mind projection onto fictional characters that much, heck I do it myself. (Aspec characters my beloved.) But sometimes peojection just turns into overly sanded projections of the canonical characters themselves.

Heck not even projection, sometimes they'll just do whatever to the character to the point they're barely recognizable. Making them sanded and flat to put in the most bare bones stuff for like, memes and other forms of projection. Thinking it's cool or funny to have them be that way when it very clearly goes against canon.

Idk I'm just tired of seeing characters dulled down for whatever headcanons and ships and whatnot just because people can't handle nuance and think of them deeper than a surface level interpretation. PLEASE go back and look at the characters in canon and study them for a bit. Build headcanons off of that. Sometimes they'll do things that you won't do and that's fine. Not everything is for personal projection. (Though there's nothing wrong in being a self indulgent a little)
