When i think of a yohaji x mairuma crossover its kind of impressive to me how much i think iruma would vibe with haruaki's class, so much so that if (current) iruma had been in yohaji from the start i dont think he would be out of place

sometimes i think about sullivan and how his n iruma’s relationship progresses and what made him choose iruma. i mean it was probably something to do with delkira that made him pick iruma up but i also think about that comment he makes early on in the series, that the others in the 3 greats have grandkids and he doesnt and how hed love to have a grandkid. and how he sends iruma to babyls partly because thats what a proper caretaker is meant to do. and how at the beginning maybe hes playacting and thinking yes this is the boy i have brought over for unspecified reasons, My Grandson, and i am the Grandfather (yay!) but its only later on that The Grandson becomes Iruma Suzuki first and then Sullivan’s Grandson second. and then i get happy about it

Realized you might be a good person to ask for input about these two guys from a show I like (if it's not too much trouble). It's a western show but these characters are Japanese and they're both friends and coworkers. One is the boss's son and has a somewhat more "childish" personality, and typically addresses his friend with the "-kun" honorific, while his friend doesn't use honorifics for the first guy. What if anything would you say this indicates about their friendship?

oh hm!!! I mean, I can't really say much without knowing the characters myself. I should probably give the caveat that I don't speak Japanese lol I just hyperfixated on honorifics for a bit because that's just how my brain works. I'd say the one using "-kun" is using it with some affection! "-kun" is used between boys/young men who are similar ages, and also used by adults for boys/men younger than them. It could potentially be used in a rude way depending on the dynamic, but I'm assuming these two characters are the same age, and since you said he's got a kind of childish personality, it seems to me that he's probably using it in a friendly way, like "we're buddies!! we're bros!!"

as for the other character, I guess it would really depend on how he's using his name and how he refers to other people! It's a lot harder to draw conclusions on the absence of something since I don't know the character and context lol just based on the vibes you've given from this ask, I'd assume his lack of honorifics is just. neutral? it's not rude but it's not overly familiar but it's not particularly respectful either. it's just his name!

Gozyugers -Who has the "number one" hero pose?-

Fuyuno Mio (Tono Hoeru/GozyuWolf)

I don't have much experience in acting, and I'm feeling all kinds of pressure, but I believe one of my strengths is my willingness to go after what I lack, so I'd like to maintain this attitude for the next year and improve my performance.

Q: Which heroes do you admire? A: Samurai Sentai Shinkenger. Writing kanji characters in the air, and then transforming through the power of kanji……it left an impression on me, so I remember it well.

Suzuki Hideharu (Byakuya Rikuo/GozyuLeon)

There's still alot of things I'm not good enough at, but I'll be required to act, do action, and do post recording on this set, and since I'm playing the role of a former idol, I'll likely have to sing and dance. Because there's alot to learn, I believe that I'll grow, and I hope that my growth will help to move this production in the right direction.

Q: Which heroes do you admire? A: GoGo Sentai Boukenger. I was excited when I learned that Action Director Fukuzawa-san was BoukenRed's Suit Actor.

Kanda Masakazu (Bakugami Ryugi/GozyuTyranno)

First, I hope that this production reaches many people, and I'll do my best with that single thought in mind. Then, I'd like to learn action and post recording through filming so that I can make the most out of it in my future career as an actor. I'd also like to learn from all the cast members so that I can grow twice as much.

Q: Which heroes do you admire? A: I watched Seiju Sentai Gingaman as it aired. I also watched Ninja Sentai Kakuranger together with my older brother.

Matsumoto Jin (Takehara Kinjiro/GozyuEagle)

I hope that each and every one of us, myself included, can create characters that people will be happy to see appearing on screen. And then, just like how I myself was as a child, I hope that we can all work together to create a production that'll make people want to sit in front of the TV at the exact time the program starts.

Q: Which heroes do you admire? A: Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger. I liked toys, so I would collect the Ranger Keys.

Imamori Maya (Ichikawa Sumino/GozyuUnicorn)

I want to make sure that everyone who watches the show is thrilled and excited each and every week. For my role as Ichikawa Sumino, I'll be consulting as well as discussing things with the cast and staff, and I hope that we can present you with a production where every single moment is wonderful.

Q: Which heroes do you admire? A: Shinkenger. My older sister was studying kanji at the time of its broadcast, and the Shinkengers would fight by writing kanji that could be found in her workbooks. I remember that well.

Q: Who among you is the most heroic?

Imamori: I think each one of us has aspects that make us heroic.

Matsumoto: In terms of reliability, it'd probably be Masa-kun.

Fuyuno Suzuki Imamori: We know what you mean.

Suzuki: He's very kind. I have no acting experience, and my nerves were already shot when filming began, but Masakazu-kun called out from behind me during filming and said, "Don't worry, go on, you got this." I thought he was a hero for doing that, and it made me happy knowing that I'd be involved in the same production with such a kind person.

Kanda: Keep talking (laughs).

Matsumoto: Then there's Mio-kun. He's positioned as Red, so his turn to perform comes up quite often, which must also put him under alot of pressure, and yet….

Suzuki: He never looks like he's having a hard time, and will always smile at you. He's both tough and reassuring, so in that sense, he's the most heroic.

Fuyuno: (said shyly) Really?

Kanada: It seems like there's a side of him that changes once he gets into his role.

Suzuki: Lately, Mio's facial expressions have been different compared to when we first started filming. I could feel it just by watching you through the monitor.

Kanada Matsumoto Imamori: (they nod in agreement).

Fuyuno: Thank you so much (laughs). _

No One World Buraidan -Who has the "number one" villain pose?-

Sambongi Daisuke (Fire Candle)

Personally, I'd like to see spinoffs made for each character, but first, it's important for the children who watch the show to admire us and have dreams. So, I hope that tons of children will buy the toys. If they like the show, they'll want to buy them, so please buy them (laughs).

Q: Which heroes do you admire? A: The first one I watched was Kakuranger. The most memorable one is Gingaman. I love its opening song. I'll often imitate Gingaman's poses and running style.

Marupi (Bouquet)

It's my greatest pleasure to say that Bouquet's visuals are "number one" in leaving an impact, but I want to be an actor who can leave an even greater impact than that. I want to create a production that'll make lots of people think, "Watching Gozyuger made me happy," and I have confidence that this team can do it.

Q: Which heroes do you admire? A: Mahou Sentai Magiranger, as it's a story about a family who stand together. I remember it well because I love my own family.

Karuma (Kuon)

With it being a 50th anniversary production, there'll be a festive atmosphere, and I feel that it's to be expected that irregular things will frequently occur, but I think we can exceed expectations, and I want to be apart of that. I'm looking forward to learning what kind of person Kuon is, and having others get to know him as well.

Q: Which heroes do you admire? A: I watched Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger, Ninpu Sentai Hurricanger, and Bakuryu Sentai Abaranger. I'm currently listening to Hurricanger's opening song.

Q: Who among you is the most villainous?

Sambongi: You mean someone who looks like they're plotting something? We would've liked to have named someone who's heroic too… (laughs). Still, each of them is carefully thinking about the role they play. I can often sense that on set.

Marupi: The impression I have of Fire Candle-san is that he's someone who's just a passionate idiot, but I can tell from his performance that he's not a character that can be described in a few words, and I think the viewers will understand that. I'm also playing the role of Bouquet with the hope of delivering a surprise that you wouldn't imagine from her appearance, with the same going for Kuon too…

Karuma: He's a mysterious character, so I can't just say things like, "He looks like this, but is actually…" (laughs).

Marupi: We're all thinking about how to present our roles (laughs). _

Special Talk

"Please tell us how you felt when you were chosen to perform."

Fuyuno: I've admired heroes since I was a child, so I was happy, but at the same time, I felt pressure.

Suzuki: I grew up watching the Super Sentai series and saw them as my role models, so I was beyond surprised to find out that I would be apart of it. It wasn't until filming began, and I got on set to strike my transformation pose that I actually felt it.

Kanada: I was suddenly called into the office, told that I had been chosen to appear in the show, and was congratulated, but I was simultaneously happy, under pressure, and confused as to why they had decided to surprise me with it.

Matsumoto: I loved hero shows and would wake up on Sunday mornings just in time for them to start. It was exciting to think that I'd be seen as a hero by children who, like me at the time, wait excitedly in front of the TV.

Imamori: When the decision was made, I was so happy that I cried, as I couldn't believe it. I still feel like I'm dreaming, but I'd like to create a good show while discussing it with everyone.

Sambongi: When I was selected to appear, I thought the times had caught up with me (laughs). After that I thought, "I guess it was fate." Rather than being nervous or happy, I thought, "This is where it all starts."

Marupi: First, I couldn't believe it, but at the same time, I was determined to live up to the honor of being chosen to be apart of the 50th anniversary production. When I was chosen, I felt that 2025 would be the best year ever, so I want to return the favor.

Karuma: When I got the offer, I thought it was a mistake (laughs). I can't say anything right now about Kuon's character or how he'll influence the story (bitter smile), but I was happy to have been given such a role.

"In reference to the title, please tell us the number one person among the eight of you. Who's the number one morning person?"

Sambongi: If you've ever been late, be honest and come forward!

Marupi: Not me (laughs).

Imamori: Mio-kun comes to the studio very early, doesn't he? In addition, while everyone else sleeps on the bus on the way to the filming location, he continues to talk (laughs).

Matsumoto: It's like an unwritten rule, if you have to sit next to him on the bus, you better be ready to talk (laughs).

Fuyuno: I'm just trying to live each day to the fullest.

Suzuki: How cool (laughs).

"Who's the number one eater?"

Everyone: That would be…(they all look at Matsumoto).

Suzuki: I'm always eating the food prepared by catering.

Imamori: If I have alittle free time during filming, I'll sneak over to the catering area.

Kanada: You were holding some potato chips yesterday (laughs).

"And now, who's the number one person with leadership skills?"

Matsumoto: The five Gozyuger members are usually together, but when the time for filming approaches, Masa-kun often calls out to those around him by saying, "Shall we go now?"

Kanada: It's just that I'm abit of a cautious person, and tend to think that I shouldn't be late and need to start moving ahead of time. Well, I may be the leader in terms of pulling things along as a timekeeper, but Mio's the leader in terms of pulling things along on set and creating the mood, wouldn't you say?

Matsumoto: Mio naturally takes the initiative, and everyone will gather around him.

Fuyuno: I'm not trying to take on a leadership role though. Since one of our themes is being "outcasts," I think it's fine for each of us to be independent.

Karuma: You guys may never come together and remain separated.

Marupi: Wouldn't you lose members? (laughs).

Sambongi: It'd end up being a two person Sentai (laughs).

Kanada: If that continues, instead of number one, it'll become "only one Sentai" (laughs).

1. How many works do you have on ao3?

13! They're all different lengths and about half of them are complete? And only more to come because I joined another big bang...

2. What's your total ao3 word count?

It's crazy because I only started really getting into writing in the past 3 years and I hit 151,653 words! I'm very proud to be here! I remember when writing 40k in a year seemed impossible for me.

3) What are your top five fics by kudos?

Haha this is more of me having one very popular fic and the rest are neck and neck, but here is the order! "Hello, Time Goes Quickly", "Fate Led Us to You (It Was Worth the Wait)", "I'll Take Care of Your Roots So Grow Tall, My Love", "Time to be Human", and "The Trials of Loving"!

4) What fandoms do you write for?

I've written all over the place, and some I won't come back to writing for even if I still read! I've written for D. Grayman, Marvel, Mob Psycho 100, Genshin, My Hero Academia, Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun, and The S Classes that I Raised! I mostly write for the last two!

5) Do you respond to comments? why or why not?

I actually always respond to comments! Every time. I make it a point to respond to every comment I get on my fics. I just get so excited knowing someone cared enough to comment, and want the reader to know I see them!

6) What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I don't really write angsty endings so I'll just go with angstiest in general! I'd say my S Class Percy Jackson au, "The Trials of Loving" is the one!

7) What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Ooooo I have a lot of happy endings! And they're pretty happy if I do say so myself. Maybe my Percy Jackson au for Sctir "The Trials of Loving" again lol. It ends on their wedding day!

8) Do you get hate on fics?

Nope! I have gotten spam though rip. At most it's commenters who are confused so I explain, but my commenters are lovely people!

9) Do you write smut?

... I have one smut fic and it's my most popular one. It's 30k and only like 5k is smut, and all of it was hard to write lol. But it must be done! For anyone curious it is in fact "Hello, Time Goes Quickly" lol.

10) Do you write crossovers?

My first fic was actually a crossover fic! It's inspired by liketolaugh 's crossover fic "Cosmic Composite" which is an Avenger's and D. Grayman crossover. Everyone should check out their fics! 11) Have you ever had a fic stolen?

I don't think so, but I don't really check for that, so it's possible!

No, but it would be great if that happened!

..I have tried and failed because I don't have a consistent writing schedule. I write 10k in 2 months and then go off the grid for 6 lol.

14) What's your all time favorite ship?

Oooo this is tricky!!! Maybe Sung Hyunjae x Han Yoojin from the S Classes that I Raised! I love them a lot. NEVERMIND MAIRUMA LATEST CHAPTER CHANGED ME LOVE TRIO FOREVER!!!!! (Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun ship with Iruma Suzuki, Clara Valac, and Asmodeus Alice)

15) What's the wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

My Welcome to Demon School fic "I'll Take Care of Your Roots So Grow tall, My Love," I had so much fun with brainstorming ideas there is no set ending... I'll update it eventually though!

16) What are your writing strengths?

I'm confident of my characterization of characters! It's why I usually can't do other POVs for other characters. I need to feel confident in how I understand them to write for them.

17) What are your writing weaknesses?

Writing in detail. I like getting to the point, because too long sentences in my writing aren't interesting lol. So sometimes there are images in my head I don't describe enough for readers to picture what I'm imagining.

18) Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

Fun! I just want to make sure I use it right.

19) First fandom you wrote for?

Whoops I already answered this but D. Grayman and Avengers! For personal writing it's My Hero Academia.

20) Favourite fic you've ever written?

Oooo this is also a hard question because I don't read my fics lol. Probably "The Schoolmaster Must Die"! It's a School for Good and Evil au with the characters of "The S Classes that I Raised" and I had a lot of fun with it even if it's not close to done.

For those who haven't been following Taichi's side-business as a curse-banishing paranormal investigator, he's been managing the cursed Iron Fingers ever since they were handed down to him after Iizuka's retirement. On Taichi's last paranormal adventure, Iizuka was banished in time and space because Uemura hit him with a time-traveling car. But somehow, Iizuka is back?

I haven't read it, though, so fair warning. (IDK what year since I'm not too familiar with this website...) Everything I wanted by Sleepycoffeeaddict13: recommended by @thelandswemadeofpaper , it's a oneshot where the misfits class learns about the fact that Iruma doesn't have wings — and Iruma covers it up by telling them about how his parents are absolute garbage! Lemme tell ya, they're not happy.

Suo (Shimazaki Nobunaga): Everyone is interesting in their own way. (t/n: I feel like zakki is always giving such serious answers unlike all the unhinged nonsense we're getting from the rest wwww)

Nirei (Chiba Shouya): Tsugeuran-kun. Because he's loud.

Sugishita (Uchiyama Kouki): Hiiragi. He's one of the Four Kings, but he's amazing at middle management. (t/n: this is a bit awkward to get across, but it's kinda like saying Hiiragi feels a lot like middle management in a company, and that's amazing, despite him being one of the four kings)

Umemiya (Nakamura Yuuichi): Nirei (noisy).

This is a test to see if there is interest in this au as a fic. This is subject to change.

Concept Chapter

The smell of seawater was thick in the air. A monotonous gray colored the room which was filled to the brim with shelves, boxes, and fishing gear.

A small boy struggled to stay upright as the ground beneath him continuously moved. He had shoulder length blue hair and blue eyes. The boy wore a simple black long sleeved jumpsuit with a red R on the chest. He had white gloves and boots. He had a black hat on as well.

The boy hastily righted himself as the ground rocked. A box started to slide from the shelf full of red and white colored orbs. There are some other people with the same uniform on the boat. It was not just them there was a variety of strange creatures that helped as well.

“Come on, you grunts! You better not drop those boxes or I’ll dock your pay!”, a man who walked like a gangster barked.

He had slicked back purple hair with a beard and gray eyes. Under his eye was a beauty mark. He wore a similar uniform but with no hat and yellow lines across the chest part of his uniform.

“You’ve got to be kidding me.”

“D-Don’t slip, darn it!”

The boy panicked as the boat was filled with harsh bickering. His arms trembled as he tried to keep the box from slipping. Compared to the other people there the boy was tiny.

This boy’s name is Suzuki Iruma. He is 14 years old though he doesn’t quite look like it. His height was very below average.

Many of the others were busy yelling at each other or trying to keep their own boxes from falling. Iruma was slowly sliding back as he sweated.

“I can’t get by if—“, Iruma thought before he slid back further.

Iruma yelped as the box slid. It was bigger than he was. The boy fell on his back as the box dropped.

“Crap! Crap! I’m gonna die!”, Iruma thought.

The couldn’t move out of the way of with the shaking ground making it difficult to regain his bearings.

Iruma closed his eyes preparing to meet his fate.

He heard a thud but there was no pain. When he opened his eyes he saw a big brown rat not much smaller than him catch the box with its teeth. Its fangs cut straight through it like butter.

His attention turned to the purple haired man standing over him. He looked rather annoyed with Iruma. Iruma paled at this.

“Geez, kid. Yer lucky that it would have been more of a hassle to deal with your corpse. Get yer butt up.”, the purple hair man barked.

“I-I’m sorry, Petrel…Sir…T-Thank you.”, Iruma replied as quietly as a mouse.

“And stop that stuttering! It’s gross!”, Petrel barked as Iruma flinched.

“S-Sorry—I-I’m still stuttering I mean uh…”, Iruma stammered as he hastily tried to get to his feet.

Iruma stumbled as he did so, making the man sigh. He already started walking away without a care.

“That will be a pay cut of a quarter.”, Petrel said.

Iruma gaped in horror.

“I’m so dead…I have to figure something out.”, Iruma thought.

“Don’t just stand there and pick up those poke balls before it’s half.”, Petrel added.

This made Iruma scramble to pick up all of the poke balls rolling around the rocking ship.

“What’s a kid like him even doing here? He should have quit and run home to mama by now.”

“Think he’s an orphan actually. Why else would a kid be here?”

“Watch those poke balls!”

“Darn it…get your stuff together, kid!”

Iruma is scrambling to find all of the poke balls that slipped out as many others try to avoid them. Sweat laced his brow as he pushed himself to get them all.

“I’m sorry…”, Iruma apologized meekly.

Soon, he got them all and not long after the boat stopped. He took a relieved breath as all of the poke balls were returned to the crate.

“Stupid brat…”

“Finally we’re done here.”

“Go ahead and load up my crate, kid.”

“Okay…”, Iruma replied.

He quickly headed off to do as he was asked. Iruma sweated as he tried to pick up the crate to load it onto a truck. It was just two crates. Easy enough, right?

Somehow he found himself loading over ten…

Without thinking he nodded along every time one of them asked him to load up a crate. Before he knew it half an hour had passed. He was drenched in sweat as he breathed heavily through his nose. He was very tempted to exhale through his mouth but kept in the urge.

Iruma slowly walked across the pier exhausted.

“Why…do I smell smoke?”, Iruma thought.

All around the pier grunts were strewn around, knocked out or hiding behind crates. The boy jumped, snapping out of his tired stupor upon seeing this.

“What…?”, Iruma muttered.

He looked around hastily on a swivel as he reached for one of the two poke balls on his waist. The smoke was growing rapidly. Many grunts had passed out from the smoke.

Iruma pinched his nose to avoid inhaling the smoke. It was spreading so rapidly that he already felt dizzy.

Suddenly a light shined through the smoke cloud. It was red hot and on a silhouette of a bipedal badger-like creature. Its red eyes burned like an inferno with a collar of flames around its neck like a crown.

Iruma exhaled unconsciously in his fear. Something about the Pokémon felt familiar. He grasped his poke ball tightly. He was focused and posed to evade the creature as it matched forward. His body already started to move to evade.

“Wait—“, he thought.

Dread suddenly filled him. His body suddenly froze warning him of a life or death situation. He only had a second t—

He let out a muffled scream when pain suddenly soared through his arm.

“T-There’s a second one?!”, Iruma thought in extreme pain.

The force of the strike nearly broke his arm as his poke ball fell from his hand. He could hardly get his arm to respond. The attack was focused on a specific point of his arm. As soon as it was struck it became difficult to use.

When Iruma’s gaze briefly shifted to the source he saw a massive bipedal blue Heracles beetle. Its hand was in a chop position. His heart rate accelerated as desperately tried to reach out for the poke ball.

The creature moved again. His other hand had the second poke ball. He pressed the button without hesitation and light shot out of it revealing a creature bigger than the other two. It was a bipedal bulky brown dinosaur-like creature. It had a pouch like a kangaroo, two stubby horns, and red eyes. Those eyes were quickly filled with rage.

“Kangaskhan…”, the dinosaur said angrily.

Iruma was grabbed by the collar by the dinosaur, bringing him away from the beetle as it prepared to strike again.

“Use Fake Out!”, Iruma ordered.

Kangaskhan slapped the beetle with its long bulky arms making it flinch and leaving it stunned for a few moments. He was stuffed into the creature’s pouch. The boy was small enough that he fit in with his shoulders and above being visible.

“It’s not a good match up.”, Iruma thought as the beetle was regaining its bearings.

Kangaskhan kicked the beetle harshly and started running.

“Watch out there’s two! The other one is a fire type!”, Iruma warned.

“There has to be a way for me to reach that ball…If I can then…”, Iruma thought.

His thoughts were becoming more hazy as he inhaled more smoke. After being struck his breathing had become more heavy. The other grunts were all passed out by now. The beetle flew up to attack again and Kangaskhan was covering its nose.

Iruma took this opportunity to roll out of the pouch. The fire type prepared to shoot towards him like a rocket.

His eyes widened.

“Throw me up!”, Iruma ordered.

Kangaskhan quickly responded looking very concerned. The beetle’s attention had turned to him as he was thrown upwards. This made the rocketing creature miss. Now, he was clung onto the bug creature.

“Can you please get Libera?”, Iruma asked as he quickly pointed down.

He struggled to hold on as the bug tried to shake him off. Kangaskhan spotted the poke ball when he pointed to it and ran to pick it up.

A pillar of fire was shot at Kangaskhan. It couldn’t dodge in time and was hit by the surprise attack. Iruma gaped and sweated intensely in fear. He was suddenly thrown onto the ground by the beetle. He winced as he harshly hit the ground.

His vision became blurry as he saw someone walking forward. They had a black and gold hat and a red jacket.

Iruma blacked out!

When he came to his mind felt hazy. He could feel something of notable weight around his arms.

“Hello…hello…”

His vision slowly returned and his head was ringing. In front of him the first thing he could make out were the bars of a cell. There was a figure on the other side of him.

“Oh no…I’m in jail…I’m completely screwed. It will be more difficult to get work.”, Iruma thought.

The figure was of an extremely tall elderly man. He wore an elegant purple coat and fedora. The man seemed to be bald and wore small circular glasses. His eyes were obscured by the light reflected in his glasses. He had a white mustache that resembled the Monopoly man’s.

Iruma was sweating buckets. When he checked his belt he saw that his poke balls were gone.

“Mom…”, Iruma thought as his heart was filled with worry.

“It looks like you’re finally awake. Can you hear me, young man?”, the stranger said.

“Yes…Are you…with the police?”, Iruma asked.

This made the old man chuckle which caught his attention.

“Heavens no. My name is Sullivan. I’ve come here to pick you up.”, the old man explained.

…

“Huh…?”, Iruma questioned with an incredulous expression as he cocked his head.

“Allow me to explain. You see your parents have sold you.”, Sullivan started.

Iruma’s expression became more incredulous.

“Excuse me—what?!”, Iruma questioned.

“They wanted enough money to live comfortably without working a day in their lives in exchange for you.”, Sullivan elaborated.

“My parents would never—Oh who am I kidding of course they would…”, Iruma thought.

You see, Iruma is not an orphan. He just has parents that are so overwhelmingly horrible that he would be better off as one.

His mind drifted to the various life threatening situations that he was put into thanks to his parents. This included being used as bait for fish, being chased by an Ursaring, and even getting shot at by police whose police dogs shot fire. In the first two he was much younger.

“I knew that they were willing to put me through hell just so they wouldn’t have to work but…THIS IS WAY TOO FAR!”, Iruma thought.

Yes, that’s right. Iruma has had to take up various odd jobs just to sustain himself and his parents since he was a little boy. You were indeed not tripping; he was a toddler in that flashback where he was being used as bait.

“And so, Iruma! Will you become my grandson?”, Sullivan asked.

The world was spinning again for Iruma for a different reason. It was difficult for his mind to comprehend the ridiculous situation he’s been placed in.

“Huh?”, was all that slipped out.

“Surely this can’t be real. I mean they’re horrible but not this horrible…right?…right?…right?! This is a joke, right?!”, Iruma thought.

“My friends always boast about their grandsons, it makes me jealous! I will buy you anything you want! I will take care of you!! So, do you agree?”, Sullivan begged with comedic tears.

“Hey then do I…Do I have the right to refuse?”, Iruma questioned.

“If you don’t want to be my grandson, no harm is done. I respect your decision.”, Sullivan replied.

Iruma gripped his pants nervously.

“What should I do…? Since the day I was born I have never said no. I never learned how to say no! Can I refuse or not…?”, Iruma thought.

“I want to have a grandson! I very much want a grandson! Please be my grandson! That’s the reason I chose you! Please fulfill a dying man’s wish! Please help me! I beg you!”, Sullivan continued begging.

Iruma felt physically struck at the words “I beg you”, “please help me”, and “I’ll leave it up to you”. Like a switch flicked on in his mind any desire to refuse his request instantly vanished.

Before he even realized what he was doing he out of the cell and he signed the adoption papers. This left Iruma sulking at his own agreeableness.

“In the end I can’t refuse his offer. I had the chance to refuse for the first time in my life but…I can’t break my habits…”, Iruma thought.

His mind flashed back to seeing a grunt on a golden bridge.

“Will you join us? It’s up to you.”

Without realizing it the grunt said one of those phrases that made Iruma instantly roll over.

“First I became a criminal because I couldn’t refuse anyone now I’m this old guy’s grandson!”, Iruma mentally panicked.

“I have some new clothes for you, Iruma.”, Sullivan informed revealing a strange looking blue uniform with a poncho.

Iruma went into the bathroom to change out of his old uniform to put on the new clothes. The blue uniform and poncho were lined with white. He had a red broach with a design that looked like a slit eye.

“So, we shouldn’t delay any longer. These belong to you.”, Sullivan said as he passed Iruma back two poke balls.

“M-mo—I mean Momo and Libera. How did you get them from the police?”, Iruma questioned.

“I have my ways. Now, let’s go.”, Sullivan replied.

The camera in the police station looped indefinitely rather than recording anything going on.

“What is this exactly?”, Iruma questioned as he pointed at the uniform he was wearing.

“Your school uniform! You will attend a Trainer School!”, Sullivan explained with excitement.

“School…?”, Iruma questioned, stunned.

When they exited the building an extravagant limousine awaited them making Iruma gape. He looked around thinking there must be some mistake.

“Come on, Iruma.”, Sullivan beckoned him to the limousine.

Everyone was staring at the scene which filled him with anxiety. He hastily followed Sullivan into the vehicle. When he sat down it felt like he was sitting on a cloud. It felt like he could easily sink into comfort. He wanted to.

“So comfy…”, Iruma thought.

He flinched when his arm touched the seat which brought him back to reality. It was a reminder of what happened.

“Oh, did you get roughed up?”, Sullivan questioned.

“Yeah…it happened when I got apprehended.”, Iruma replied.

Sullivan casually brought out a max potion which stunned him. Iruma cautiously rolled down his sleeve allowing Sullivan to spray the wound. It healed in seconds after being exposed to the spray.

“He can just use those as he likes? Or did he just drop a fortune to heal me? I hope it didn’t burden him too much.”, Iruma thought.

“Speaking of…why me exactly? I mean…I ended up in jail. That doesn’t exactly sound like good grandson material.”, Iruma replied.

Sullivan sweat dropped as he seemed to remember something.

“Oh crap…I shouldn’t have said anything. He’s going to throw me out now.”, Iruma thought.

“I forgot to mention something important. Ah, it’s bound to happen at my age.”, Sullivan said.

“Lord Sullivan, that’s something too crucial to forget.”, their driver said in a monotone tone.

Their driver wore a white dress shirt with a red vest. He had vibrant red hair and eyes. His expression was constantly neutral.

“What is it?”, Iruma questioned.

“You see I’m the boss of Team Babyls. It’s quite a bit older than those young teams. You are not only my grandson, you are also now my successor.”, Sullivan explained.

Suddenly it all sank in. That rather shady exchange to acquire him…The unbelievable wealth…The power to just take an inmate out of jail. He’s a crime boss. He’s become the grandson of a CRIME BOSS.

“WHAT?!”, Iruma gasped.

Sunday Six - late edition!

Been preparing to go back to the office tomorrow so this is coming in late. I decided to explore how Suzuki might meet Akutsu. It goes as chaotically as you might suspect.

"Jun-kun!"

Suzuki looked up. A big, tan man leaned far over the railing of a small balcony two stories above them, his voice reverberating along the high ceilings of the club. He was looking at Akuma, but Akuma did not look up. In fact, Akuma acted as if nothing had happened.

"Jun!" the man repeated, somehow even louder. "Don't ignore me, fucker!"

"Sir, I think that man is trying to get your attention." Suzuki recalled Akuma’s given name was Jun. How this man knew that was yet to be revealed.

Because Akuma did not act like this was a close friend, and the man didn't look related to Akuma. But who else besides a friend or relativs would address Akuma so casually?

Suzuki’s wonderings shattered when the man hopped over the railing, long, tattooed legs spread wide. Suzuki shrieked, her body frozen, as she watched the man drop ten meters. Finally Akuma reacted, turning to watch as the man landed on his feet and hands, large body crouched, entirely unhurt. Suzuki had hardly any time to react to that feat, however, when the man sprang forward like a lion and jumped on Akuma.

Akuma flew back and hit the ground, the man splayed on top on him. At first Suzuki thought they were fighting, and her shaking hands went to her nightstick, but she realized quickly that wasn't the case...

"Akutsu," Akuma growled, "I'm working!"

The other man laughed, sitting up, his long, thick legs straddling Akuma’s hips. He was just as massive as Akuma, though not quite as fat in the belly, and somehow more muscular. His bleached hair shined in the sunlight. "I told you not to ignore me."

Akuma groaned, then seized the man he called Akutsu under the arm pits. His knee came up, and in one impossibly quick motion, he flipped the two of them so that he was now on top of Akutsu. Akutsu growled now, although it sounded more pleasant than Akuma’s had. He grabbed Akuma by the collar and Suzuki was sure he was about to kiss Akuma, but Akuma broke the hold with ease and jumped to his feet.

"Who on earth is that?" Suzuki asked as shd watched Akutsu sit up on the ground.

"That..." Akuma seemed to consider his answer for a moment, then shook his head. "That's Akutsu."
