When i think of a yohaji x mairuma crossover its kind of impressive to me how much i think iruma would vibe with haruaki's class, so much so that if (current) iruma had been in yohaji from the start i dont think he would be out of place

sometimes i think about sullivan and how his n iruma’s relationship progresses and what made him choose iruma. i mean it was probably something to do with delkira that made him pick iruma up but i also think about that comment he makes early on in the series, that the others in the 3 greats have grandkids and he doesnt and how hed love to have a grandkid. and how he sends iruma to babyls partly because thats what a proper caretaker is meant to do. and how at the beginning maybe hes playacting and thinking yes this is the boy i have brought over for unspecified reasons, My Grandson, and i am the Grandfather (yay!) but its only later on that The Grandson becomes Iruma Suzuki first and then Sullivan’s Grandson second. and then i get happy about it

Me: ok, even if the cover story that Iruma was super sheltered and never saw the netherworld how the hell has he gotten by with knowing nothing? That makes no se-
Also me, suddenly remembering that theoretically this would mean Iruma was only ever around Opera and Sullivan: nevermind everything makes perfect sense now

Realized you might be a good person to ask for input about these two guys from a show I like (if it's not too much trouble). It's a western show but these characters are Japanese and they're both friends and coworkers. One is the boss's son and has a somewhat more "childish" personality, and typically addresses his friend with the "-kun" honorific, while his friend doesn't use honorifics for the first guy. What if anything would you say this indicates about their friendship?
oh hm!!! I mean, I can't really say much without knowing the characters myself. I should probably give the caveat that I don't speak Japanese lol I just hyperfixated on honorifics for a bit because that's just how my brain works. I'd say the one using "-kun" is using it with some affection! "-kun" is used between boys/young men who are similar ages, and also used by adults for boys/men younger than them. It could potentially be used in a rude way depending on the dynamic, but I'm assuming these two characters are the same age, and since you said he's got a kind of childish personality, it seems to me that he's probably using it in a friendly way, like "we're buddies!! we're bros!!"
as for the other character, I guess it would really depend on how he's using his name and how he refers to other people! It's a lot harder to draw conclusions on the absence of something since I don't know the character and context lol just based on the vibes you've given from this ask, I'd assume his lack of honorifics is just. neutral? it's not rude but it's not overly familiar but it's not particularly respectful either. it's just his name!

Uchusen Vol.186 (Autumn 2024) Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger | Detail of Super Sentai ft. Main Cast Interviews (translation below)
Publication: October 1, 2024 (between episode 31-32)
Iuchi Haruhi x Hayama Yuki x Suzuki Miu Saito Ryu x Soma Satoru x Miyazawa Yu
"Filming will start to move into the endgame, so do you feel that your teamwork is now fully established?"
Iuchi: If we're talking about team work……to be honest, yesterday, including Hashiyasume-san, the seven of us went out to eat for the first time (laughs).
Suzuki: She'd been talking about "wanting to go" for awhile, and it just so happened that we all finished filming together, so when we invited her she said, "Definitely, let's go!" We all ate yakitori together and had alot of fun!
Soma: It was an exciting time.
Suzuki: It was fun, wasn't it? We saw new sides of each other.
Iuchi: We're often split up when we go out to eat, but this was the first time we were all together with Hashiyasume-san included.
Suzuki: Still, since there's always someone who can't make it, that might've also been the first time all six of us were together.
Hayama: That may be true. However, when we went out to eat, Hashiyasume-san said, "I know this is alittle late, but I don't know you guys very well," and so we introduced ourselves again. We started with basic info, such as our ages and the agencies we belong to (laughs).
Suzuki: When I came back to my seat after leaving for abit, Hashiyasume-san was saying things like, "Everyone's doing their best!," but what were you guys talking about?
Soma: I think it was about our auditions for Boonboomger. Hashiyasume-san asked us, "How'd you all get in?" and when we said, "We had to do countless auditions……" she was like "That must've been tough!"
Suzuki: Ah, I didn't know that.
"Was that the first time you spoke about private matters?"
Miyazawa: Outside of filming, yeah.
Suzuki: When we're filming, we don't have that much time to talk. That's why it's been alot of fun talking about so many different things!
"In the first place, when you're filming every day, you don't have much time for your private lives."
Hayama: Also, on the topic of food……in the curry shop run by the Hashiriyans, the four of them - Ishiro, Jou, Sakito and Byun Diesel, finish eating curry in one bite (episode 31), but those scenes were filmed with us eating normally and then being sped up in the broadcast. However, when filming, Miyazawa-kun was eating so slowly……Ryu and I kept acting as if we were scooping at curry that was already gone so that the timing for the end of the meal would match. It was already really late, and when I glanced over halfway through, his still hadn't decreased at all (laughs).
Miyazawa: Ideally, the four of us should've finished eating at the same time. That's why before filming, when everyone was nervous and said, "Will we be able to eat all of it?," I said stuff like, "Don't worry, in fact, if you're nervous, you won't be able to eat, so it's best not to tense up." However…….once we started and I looked up at Ryu in front of me, by the time I had eaten about a third of mine, he was already halfway done with his, and I thought to myself, "This ain't good"……
Suzuki: I'd be in a hurry (laughs).
Miyazawa: It's good because you guys are young, but once you get older, you won't be able to take it all in. I did my best to shovel it in my mouth in one go, but I just can't swallow it at all.
Hayama: When I had about three bites left, Ryu had already finished eating, but even though he was told, "Keep acting like you're eating," for some reason, he just waited patiently, which was also funny (laughs). Furthermore, when I saw Byundi in front of me, he couldn't eat because he was wearing a mask, so he had to continue to pretend to eat. More than that, Sakito, who was across from me, looked like he was in pain while eating, and it was really hard to hold back my laughter in that moment (laughs).
Miyazawa: I'm often teased because of my age. You guys oughta have alittle more respect for your elders! (laughs).
Hayama: We're always screwing with him (laughs).
Suzuki: It's proof that we're good friends, don't you think? (laughs).
"The story is also becoming more and more interesting."
Miyazawa: Recently, I think Genba's withdrawal (episode 27) is definitely worth watching. Satoru made the atmosphere serious, and I got the feeling that "we also had to do our best."
Suzuki: Normally, he really screws around (laughs), but when it comes to work, his face changes. I also think it's amazing that he always observes and studies the performance of Ono-san, his Suit Actor.
Iuchi: Is it just me, or does his acting seem to have gotten even more colorful recently?
Hayama: For some reason, I feel like Satoru-kun's expressions have changed recently.
"Does this mean that the role has become your own?"
Soma: No, no, I am honored though (laughs). Still, since the focus is on Genba due to his withdrawal, I feel that I have to work harder, and there are parts of his past that'll be revealed and foreshadowing resolved, so I have to make sure that I clearly convey them. I feel that this awareness is stronger than ever before.
"Is it also challenging to do the makeup when you change into his Bureki form?"
Soma: On its own, the makeup only takes about an hour, but I think the challenging part is for the makeup artist rather than myself (laughs). First I'm filmed as Genba, become Bureki after that, and then was filmed as Genba once more, so that was abit challenging. As for some behind the scenes stories……my skin is fairly tan, but when you combine that with the long white hair, it ends up giving me an unintended "gyaruo" look (laughs), so I use foundation to whiten my skin abit.
Saito: I think the contacts are also pretty challenging, no?
Soma: I wear colored contacts when I'm Bureki, but the pupils are vertical just like a cat's. However, when I blink, the pupils can't help but spin around and the angle becomes misaligned, so we have to reangle them every time.
Suzuki: Because of that, you try not to blink as much as possible during filming. Even though your eyes are drier than usual when you have contacts in, it's alot of trouble since you can't blink.
Soma: Still, there are some eye performances where you deliberately blink, right? That's why when we were filming in dry places, there were times when my contacts would fall out.
"Nevertheless, Genba's withdrawal was a shocking and abrupt development."
Soma: It was a huge development, I didn't expect that I'd be leaving.
Miyazawa: The scene where Genba walks away was good.
Hayama: It was good, wasn't it? It was abit dark on set that day of that shoot.
Soma: The mood was pretty rough.
Iuchi: On the way home too, everyone was silent.
Suzuki: Everyone was depressed……
Saito: Furthermore, the following week, Genba was removed from the opening. In addition, it starts from the end of the previous episode and leads into the opening, and Zawa-nii and I were saying, "This definitely isn't gonna be good for the people watching!"
Suzuki: You know about the picture of that girl who cried "Don't quit!" that was sent to Satorun on SNS, right?
Soma: I thought, "Yeah, I'm sorry"……but, well, it's my job.
Suzuki: To shatter her dreams even further?! (laughs).
Miyazawa: I wanted to tell her, "Just hold out alittle longer!"
Soma: Seeing photos like that still breaks my heart. Unlike in the past, we can now see direct reactions on SNS, but I have mixed feelings about this, as it's both gratifying and saddening (laughs).
"The untransformed action scenes seem to have increased, but what do you think about filming action?"
Hayama: I really don't have much confidence in myself. I'm just trying to get by with the power of editing.
Miyazawa: Episodes like the boxing one (episode 29) were really cool.
Hayama: That was through the power of editing (laughs).
Saito: Still, didn't BoonBlue's Suit Actor Yone-san (Yoneoka Takahiro) say, "I was very impressed with Yuki-kun's action skills"?
Suzuki: I guess you "leveled up" without even realizing it, huh?
Hayama: No, I've done nothing but work on my body. Around the beginning, I talked to Takahiro-kun about how I was, "Curious about the difference in our body shape before and after transforming." Takahiro seemed to also be concerned about that.
Suzuki: Yone-san's build is pretty amazing, isn't it? (laughs).
Hayama: I was really slender at the time, and we wanted to create a stronger link between us, so we decided on it with, "Alright, Takahiro-kun will lose weight and I'll get bulkier."
Suzuki: You were like, "Let's just meet in the middle" (laughs).
Hayama: Right, we decided to compromise with each other, so maybe that's why I started going to the gym. I was never the exercising type, but I feel like I have alot more stamina now.
Suzuki: Did Yone-san ever get thin?
Hayama: Takahiro-kun is actually fairly thin. The last time I saw him in his BoonBlue suit, it was wrinkled and had alittle extra room.
Suzuki: Eh, amazing!
Hayama: That really surprised me.
Miyazawa: Yuki was happy too.
Hayama: I was very happy (laughs).
"What other action scenes impressed you the most?"
Iuchi: While in his Bureki form, Satoru-kun did some wire action, and it was amazing.
Soma: I was able to do it because I had practiced in advance, but it was still more difficult than I had imagined. You have to balance in the air, so you've got to have a strong core.
Saito: When I looked at you after it was over, you had marks all over your body from the wire rubbing against you.
Soma: I didn't realize it while I was doing it.
Hayama: The action reminded me of the scene in the episode where Sakito first appears (episode 16), where he and Taiya fight in the parking garage. That was really cool, and Haruhi's athletic ability……I was surprised it wasn't terrible (laughs). Well, it's not that Haruhi's ability isn't good, it's just my own biased opinion.
Suzuki: Haruhi-kun's hobbies include reading and playing the guitar, so you can't help but get the impression that he's an indoor person. And yet, when he does action, he's actually very lively.
Miyazawa: Surprisingly, he likes exercising and action, and when we play futsal together, he has more fun than anyone else.
Iuchi: Personally, I'm really jealous that Genba takes on an alien form. That's why I've been appealing to the Directors and Producers with, "How about a development where Taiya also becomes an alien?" When I become an alien, I'd like to do some wire action, cause some explosions with napalm shooting out of my hands, and in the end, fall into some water and vanish.
Soma: In other words, you just want to do all the actions that only tokusatsu can offer, so it's basically just an "assortment of things you wanna do" (laughs).
Miyazawa: Seems like a happy meal of tokusatsu actions (laughs).
"What developments are you looking forward to in the future?"
Iuchi: What I'm most concerned about now is Sakito. When I watch, I feel that he still hasn't become a member of Boonboomger, or rather, he's become one of them, but his position is alittle different from the other members. He's always with Byundi, and they tend to act separately from us.
"You're not wrong, they give off the vibes that make them seem like a separate team."
Iuchi: Right. So, as the story progresses, and we all move toward our dream of the BBG, will Sakito move forward with us, or will he go off somewhere else?……
Miyazawa: It's true that Taiya and the others have big dreams, but Sakito's goals haven't been revealed in the main story yet. Previously he said, "My dream is to watch the fireworks with you guys."
Suzuki: That was an easily achievable goal (laughs). Still, that scene turned out cool.
Miyazawa: We may find out about it in the future, or maybe it just hasn't been made clear yet.
Suzuki: That being said, while each of them is depicted as growing, Taiya's still one step behind, and there's something mysterious about him. I'm pretty curious to see how he'll grow from here.
Miyazawa: Regarding Taiya, although his growth is depicted through things like his battles with Madrex, I get the impression that there's still alot that hasn't been revealed about him. Other than that, the only other story that focused on him was the episode of his first love (episode 24).
Suzuki: That's right.
"As we reach the climax, will this be discussed together along with the situation regarding Naito Raita-san?"
Iuchi: Yes, a disturbing topic will be brought up (laughs). Depending on how things unfold, I might cry for real.
Suzuki: We also don't know anything yet.
Hayama: Taiya and Naito-san are old acquaintances.
Iuchi: There may even be an episode where Taiya withdraws……?
Saito: Is that because all you want to do is use napalm and fall into water?
Iuchi: I've been caught (laughs).
Hayama: I also wonder how Tokoyari Eiichiro-san, the ISA Director, will interact with us in the future. He has a connection with Ishiro, but it hasn't been depicted in detail yet, so he's almost certainly going to be an enemy.
Suzuki: Well, that's how he's been portrayed (laughs).
Hayama: I'm really curious to see how he'll clash with us in the future.
Iuchi: I'm saying this as a viewer, but I'm also curious to see what'll happen to the Sanseaters. There are alot of fans of the Voice Actors, and while they're villains, they're characters that you just can't hate.
Hayama: In that sense, this job is a dream come true for an anime lover like me. Like, there's Morikubo Showtaro-san who plays Disrace……
Suzuki: In any case, the Voice Actors are just too extravagant.
Hayama: I had the chance to talk with Madrex's Kamiya-san the other day, and his natural voice was just like the soldier captain in that one anime. I thought, "I'm talking to my idol right now!," and my excitement was steadily cranking up (laughs).
"This is a benefit only Sentai can offer."
Suzuki: When I observe the Voice Actors recording, I can tell that the way they use their voices are completely different. It's not so much the volume of their voice, but the tone, like the way it resonates even if they don't speak loudly.
Hayama: When I observe Voice Actors recording, they're on such a different level, that I honestly wonder, "How do I even learn what to do?" (laughs).
Suzuki: Still, when I spoke with Bundorio's Matsumoto Rika-san, she told me, "We Voice Actors play the characters, but since everyone acts out the characters themselves and then provide their own voices after they transform, I think it's better if you do it in your natural voice for realism." That's definitely something I agree with.
"And now finally, please give a message to the fans."
Miyazawa: I think the story is gradually reaching its climax, but I wonder how everyone in Boonboomger will grow and develop from now on…..the same is true for Genba, but I'm sure we'll be able to see each person's own vision, including their relationship with Sakito and the Sanseaters, who tend to act alone, so I hope that you'll pay attention to this area and enjoy the story to the very end as it reaches the most interesting part.
Soma: Lately, I think each and every episode has been pretty intense, including what Genba's been doing since he left, but I wonder how the Boonboomgers will reunite from here. In the future, I think there'll be a boss to fight towards the end, and there's really alot left that's yet to be revealed. Even with that in mind, you'll still be able to enjoy it, and I think it's an interesting enough show that you could watch again from the beginning to check for the foreshadowing!
Hayama: Including the six of us, each character and their backgrounds are being depicted more and more intensely as of late. Especially now that Taiya and the others dreams of the BBG are being discussed in more detail, I'm also looking forward to seeing what'll happen. Then of course, there's Champion Boonboomger. I hope you'll enjoy the new evolution of the Boonboomgers.
Suzuki: Boonboomger is a group of professionals known by "-ers" and I think they're strong because it's a group of six people who each have their own strengths. However, with Genba's departure, I'm sure that it's not only us, but also the viewers who have been able to realize how significant it is when one person is missing. I hope you'll look forward to the drama of whether Genba will come back and what his friends will do.
Saito: The ultimate goal of Boonboomgers story is the BBG, but I think there are many more details to be explored, including Genba's story, so please look forward to that first. Also, please pay attention to the guest appearance of ToQger! This is the most recent appearance of a senior Sentai following Go-Onger, so I hope you'll look forward to future developments and seeing what kind of "spice" they'll add to Boonboomger.
Iuchi: When Genba left in episode 27, there was alot of reactions like, "He'll come back soon, right?," but even after a few weeks, he still hasn't come back. Including the appearance of Champion Boonboomger, I hope you'll pay attention to how everyone in Boonboomger grows by overcoming this predicament. Also, this was a personal request and something to look forward to, but although there was a story about Taiya's first love during his childhood, the very core of his past, such as "I can't sit still when I hear a scream," hasn't been explored yet. That's why I think It'd be good if we could delve deeper into Taiya's roots, along with his relationship with Naito-san. I'm really looking forward to it myself, and I hope that the fans will enjoy it too!

An announcement came out that ex-Suzuki Gun member Iizuka is having a cross-over release with a clothing company and Taichi has some concerns.

Here is the list of Grounding fics in M!IK — I've been both busy and procrastinating on it, but uh... here it is?
Grounding by RoseberryGreen
Grounded by FollowtheLeider
Forever Grounded by Demi_Chaos
These three were the 'originals', I think? I don't quite remember which came first, but these were the earliest Grounding fics I could find.
The Atrocities That Befell One (1) Suzuki Iruma by A_Hallucination: more general kinda, Iruma has scars that look suspiciously similar to the scars of a demon who had their tail, wing roots, and horns removed. Shenanigans ensue. As of now, it is incomplete at 5 chapters, last updated 2023/8/8
Where are your wings Iruma-Kun by Rinka 27: this one is not from Ao3 like the rest of the recommendations, I found it on Fanfiction.net, it has 7 chapters and was last updated July 16. I haven't read it, though, so fair warning. (IDK what year since I'm not too familiar with this website...) (Edit: @hashibag told me that the author does have an Ao3 account and has posted this there under the username lulabell13)
Everything I wanted by Sleepycoffeeaddict13: recommended by @thelandswemadeofpaper , it's a oneshot where the misfits class learns about the fact that Iruma doesn't have wings — and Iruma covers it up by telling them about how his parents are absolute garbage! Lemme tell ya, they're not happy.
If I find more, I'll definitely add them to this list! If there are other fics that aren't on here yet, please comment or reblog so I can add them! Thank you!

Windbreaker seiyuu comments part 3
For previous weeks, see this post!
Week 9
Tumblr media
Tomiyama told Umemiya that he's interesting. Up to episode 9, who do you think is the most interesting character?
Sakura (Uchida Yuuma): Sugishita, his actions are cute, no, interesting (t/n: I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE)
Suo (Shimazaki Nobunaga): Everyone is interesting in their own way. (t/n: I feel like zakki is always giving such serious answers unlike all the unhinged nonsense we're getting from the rest wwww)
Nirei (Chiba Shouya): Tsugeuran-kun. Because he's loud.
Sugishita (Uchiyama Kouki): Hiiragi. He's one of the Four Kings, but he's amazing at middle management. (t/n: this is a bit awkward to get across, but it's kinda like saying Hiiragi feels a lot like middle management in a company, and that's amazing, despite him being one of the four kings)
Umemiya (Nakamura Yuuichi): Nirei (noisy).
Hiiragi (Suzuki Ryouta): Kotoha-san. She's an interesting girl. (t/n: watch your back Umemiya is coming for you)

Sunday Six - late edition!
Been preparing to go back to the office tomorrow so this is coming in late. I decided to explore how Suzuki might meet Akutsu. It goes as chaotically as you might suspect.
tagging: @overdevelopedglasses @jichanxo @skysquid22 @passthroughtime @mike----wazowski @humbletaxidriver @ikainkspills
"Jun-kun!"
Suzuki looked up. A big, tan man leaned far over the railing of a small balcony two stories above them, his voice reverberating along the high ceilings of the club. He was looking at Akuma, but Akuma did not look up. In fact, Akuma acted as if nothing had happened.
"Jun!" the man repeated, somehow even louder. "Don't ignore me, fucker!"
"Sir, I think that man is trying to get your attention." Suzuki recalled Akuma’s given name was Jun. How this man knew that was yet to be revealed.
Because Akuma did not act like this was a close friend, and the man didn't look related to Akuma. But who else besides a friend or relativs would address Akuma so casually?
Suzuki’s wonderings shattered when the man hopped over the railing, long, tattooed legs spread wide. Suzuki shrieked, her body frozen, as she watched the man drop ten meters. Finally Akuma reacted, turning to watch as the man landed on his feet and hands, large body crouched, entirely unhurt. Suzuki had hardly any time to react to that feat, however, when the man sprang forward like a lion and jumped on Akuma.
Akuma flew back and hit the ground, the man splayed on top on him. At first Suzuki thought they were fighting, and her shaking hands went to her nightstick, but she realized quickly that wasn't the case...
"Akutsu," Akuma growled, "I'm working!"
The other man laughed, sitting up, his long, thick legs straddling Akuma’s hips. He was just as massive as Akuma, though not quite as fat in the belly, and somehow more muscular. His bleached hair shined in the sunlight. "I told you not to ignore me."
Akuma groaned, then seized the man he called Akutsu under the arm pits. His knee came up, and in one impossibly quick motion, he flipped the two of them so that he was now on top of Akutsu. Akutsu growled now, although it sounded more pleasant than Akuma’s had. He grabbed Akuma by the collar and Suzuki was sure he was about to kiss Akuma, but Akuma broke the hold with ease and jumped to his feet.
"Who on earth is that?" Suzuki asked as shd watched Akutsu sit up on the ground.
"That..." Akuma seemed to consider his answer for a moment, then shook his head. "That's Akutsu."

Eliza's Library of Fics
Tumblr media
Because I am a writer of various fandoms and dozens of stories now, I'm going to put them under a cut to save space.
**NOTE THAT SOME STORIES ARE 18+**
Many of my stories, and just my blog in general, are meant for mature audiences. I am a full grown adult writing some mature themes at times. Viewer discretion advised. I do my best to tag common triggers, but I'm also bad at it. So, yeah. Read at your own risk. If it seems sketchy, please back out. I don't want you traumatized because my brain felt spicy when writing.
Tag list for my various fics here

For the Sake of a Smile: Hell on earth was your motto for your job. Granted, you were pretty sure earth really was hell, considering the shit you had seen. And the fact your coworker was a child. Suzuki Iruma. A kid who’s life was decidedly worse than yours, but smiled despite everything. And you’d do a lot for his smile. Including summoning a demon and signing your life away.
But as it turns out, hell (The Netherworld, actually) was a lot better than living on earth. Demons were more humane than a lot of humans you knew. And Iruma’s smile wasn’t the only one that would change your life. (Balam/Reader; Found Family Fic; Revision in progress)

Except, for the first time in a very long time, Kuro found himself trusting, and even liking, the young woman he shared tea with every week.
And then the Straw Hat Pirates arrived and ruined his plans. Except fate decided his story wasn’t done there.

Unfortunately, this also leads you to question where 'home' really is.

Pairing: Sanji/Reader
Warnings: No real warnings, but god, I hope you like pining
Summary: You felt like you had known Sanji forever, considering your family had been the main merchants Zeff used to supply the Baratie. You had a small crush on him, but knew it was hopeless considering you were the one woman he didn't seem to pine over.
It was fine. Or so you thought until you ended up on the Going Merry as a bookkeeper and supply manager. Being around him 24/7 was a lot more difficult than just a few days a week.

Summary: After the infamous night of a ten year old child being stuck in the Pizzaplex overnight and causing untold chaos to the place in less than six hours; Vanessa understandably needed a few days off, and you were happy to fill in (not that you were given a choice really.) Except the main technician for the Glam Rocks had been fired (or disappeared, depending on who you asked) and so you were also assigned to their restoration as well as maintenance and upkeep of the staff bots.
As if that assignment isn’t large enough, Freddy tells you his version of the Incident, which makes things even more complicated as you start piecing puzzle pieces together. The bear animatronic, after seeing all his friends be warped by a virus and taken down by a child he cares for, becomes rather protective of you. Especially as things… develop.
These feelings are just because you’re both lonely, right? Once things go back to normal, surely they’ll fade away.

Hakuoki Drama CD - Shimabara Disturbance Track 3 English translation
To no one in particular... Suzuki Shogo > Sasaki Yoshihide. Also I keep spelling the latter's name wrong.... ehehe. (¬‿¬)
Anyway, here's track 3! enjoy!
Hakuoki Drama CD - Shimabara Disturbance Track 3: Feminine Things/Womanly matters [raw is 「女らしいこと」 Iuno what to put this as]
Translation by KumoriYami
Sen: Then, I'll go get Chizuru-chan prepared. Everyone, please wait here. Let's go, Chizuru-chan.
(door opens and they go)   Hijikata: But when Saito said that he had something to say to me, I thought it would be for something. I didn't expect it that he wanted to put Chizuru in a kimono.
Okita: If you're feeling dissatisfied, why don't you go back? Chizuru-chan won't be happy with someone saying something like that.
Hijikata: Hey, who said that I was feeling dissatisfied or annoyed?
Okita: Areh? Do you want to see it that badly? As expected, Hijikata-san is inwardly quite passionate. Chizuru-chan should really be staying away from you~
Hijikata: You bastard, aren't you going to nitpick me for whatever I say?!
Nagakura Forget it, Hijikata-san, just calm down. Chizuru-chan was really beautiful then, so of course you/I'd [no subject] want to see her like that again.
Toudou:....
Saito: What's wrong, Heisuke? You have a strange expression on your face again.
Toudou: Eh? An, no.
Nagakura What is it, Heisuke? You don't want to see Chizuru-chan like that again?
Toudou: How would that be possible?! I was... only, I don't her to be shown in public like that.
Nagakura: Huh? What do you mean?
Toudou: It's nothing!
Harada: This is something that everyone's looking forward to! Right, Saito?
Saito: Why are you asking me?
Harada: If you weren't interested, you wouldn't have made such a proposal, right?
Nagakura: That's right! I was really surprised when Saito made the suggestion.
Saito: This wasn't because of my own desires. However, I simply thought that she'd be happy if she could wear women's clothes.
Okita: Eh~ I'm a bit surprised Hajime-kun would say that. You should want her to be happy.
Harada: Her life's been quite miserable, and even Saito wants to cheer her up.
Saito: Th-That's.. I just really don't want her to be/feel sad…
Okita: For you not wanting her to feel sad, that almost sounds like a confession of love.
Saito: Uh! It's nothing like that! Don't joke about that.
Heisuke: Geh! [just an audible sound the way it sounds]
Saito: Heisuke, what's wrong?
Toudou: Co-Could it be that Hajime-kun is interested in Chizuru…?
Saito: Ah! No! Souji! Souji, this is all your fault for spouting such nonsense!
Okita: All I did was say was what I was thinking. It was just Hajime-kun who had such a panicked reaction, right?
Saito: Such a thing...!
(door opens)
Sen: We've kept you waiting! She's finished changing now! Come on, Chizuru-chan! Don't be shy! Hurry, hurry!
(footsteps)
Toudou: Guh~! Chi...Chizuru...!!
Nagakura: Wow! you really are beautiful! No matter how many times I see you, I'll never get used to it/tired of it.
Harada: It's a different kimono than last time, but it suits you very much, Chizuru.
Okita: Don't be shy, and raise raise your head. What a truly rare and beautiful transformation.
Hijikata: This is already the second time, why are you still nervous? The clothes suit you very well, so it's fine to be more magnanimous and generous/honest and forthcoming.
Okita: Hehe, you haven't turned your head around, why don't you say a compliment?
Saito: I'm trying to calm my emotions, please don't talk to me.
Nagakura: What's wrong, Heisuke? Your mouth is opening and closing like a goldfish's.
Toudou: Ca-Calm down, me... I've obviously seen her before like this, so why I am so nervous? Speaking of which, isn't Chizuru more beautiful than last time?
Okita: Haha, Heisuke's face has become quite red~
Harada: Why is Saito, who isn't even looking at Chizuru, blushing?
Saito: Didn't I say not to talk to me?
Sen: Even though you all probably have much to say, please come over here. The room's been prepared.
................
Nagakura: Ah~! Fancy food, delicious sake and beautiful women~! What's not to like? This must be what the heavens are like!
(footsteps)
Nagakura: Ah, you want to pour some sake for me? Sorry, Chizuru-chan!
Toudou: Ah! There's no need for you to do that, Chizuru! You don't need to pour sake for Shinpachh-san!
Nagakura: What are you doing, Heisuke? Are you going to stop me from drinking?
Toudou: I don't mean that! You can always pour the sake yourself!
Nagakura: You… there's obviously such a lovely person here, wouldn't it be a waste to not let her pour me sake?
Toudou: It'd be a waste to pour sake for Shinpach-san!
Nagakura: Ha? What do you mean by that?
Harada: Well, calm down you two. You're troubling Chizuru. Today's banquet is for Chizuru, so we should enteertain her properly. Right, Saito?
Saito: Why are you asking me that!
Harada: Didn't you organize this? You said that you wanted Chizuru wearing a beautiful kimono.
Saito: Sa-Sano! Don't say anything unnecessary!
Harada; What part of this is unnecessary?
Saito: Yukimura, don't worry. It's nothing. Don't ask anything about this. Ah, the Vice-Commander is looking over here. He might have something to say to you, so you should go over there. [Saito speaks very quickly here 😂]
(footsteps)
Okita: There was no need to send her away. Because Chizuru-chan's so beautiful, you've become shy and unable to say anything? Just it that way.
Saito:....Stop talking nonsense/stupid things.
Harada: Well, she is very beautiful so being shy is understandable.
Toudou: Eh? Sano-san is feeling shy?
Harada: As a man, even I'd feel shy when being stared at by such a beautiful woman.
Okita: When Sano-san says such a thing, why does it feel like a lie…
Harada: Why? I'm definitely not lying.
Okita: Because you don't seem shy in the slightest. Have you always been deceiving girls/women like this?
Nagakura: What?! Could this be Sano's trick to deceiving girls?
Harada: Don't twist what I said! Although it's not really obvious on my face, I'm a human, so I also get shy.
Okita: Hm? Alright then.
Harada: In any case, you're the dishonest one, Souji. If you think she's beautiful, why don't you give her a compliment?
Okita: I praised her for having her "beautiful transformation".
Harada: Exactly how is that a compliment?
.......
Toudou: Ha....
Okita: What's wrong, Heisuke? Are you jealous that Hijikata-san is monopolizing Chizuru-chan? If you want, I can help you by killing him?
Toudou: While it's true that I'm upset with him monopolizing her, I was just thinking that she really looks like a girl like this.
Nagakura: What are you saying, Heisuke? Regardless of how she looks, Chizuru-chan is a girl.
Toudou: That's not what I mean! While she is very feminine, she usually has to dress as a man. Whenever I think about that, I always feel…
Harada: That's right. We're the only ones here today, so there's nothing to worry about. I also want her to have the opportunity to act as a girl would.
Nagakura: A girl/woman... ? What do they usually do?
Harada: What? What's with that look that appears as if you're staring at some strange creature?
Nagakura: Even if you say that, I don't know what they usually do. Isn't it really just cooking, washing/laundry, and sewing?
Toudou: In that case, isn't that what Chizuru usually does?
Okita: Just doing some chores.
Toudou: Ha... Seriously, she really is usually just doing chores/odd jobs.
Okita: What about playing ball/with a ball? Girls in the neighbourhood often play with it/them.[I think this is "ball" here in Japanese. the CN I have is more literally "hit the ball" and the audio sounds like 'mari toka']
Harada: That can't be done indoors, right?
Okita: Then what about ayatori or origami?
Toudou: It's true that many girls play that, but that can be done at headquarters.
Harada: Anyway Souji, you've been doing nothing but list children's games.
Okita: Hehe, that's because I've seen the neighbourhood children play them. Does Sano-san have any good ideas?
Harada: Nn, it's true that identifying what a woman does is difficult. Should we ask that geisha named Kimigiku teach her something/how to dance?
Okita: But even if she came to the dojo to teach, I don't know if that child likes dancing.
Nagakura: That's right, rather than what a girl/woman might do, isn't it better to let Chizuru-chan do what she wants?
Okita: Then why don't I do some training with her?
Harada: If Souji's conducting the training, Chizuru will probably die.
Okita: Ah, but I left my sword when I came in, so there's no way that can be done now.
Harada: In the first place, you can't let Chizuru hold a sword with that appearance.
Okita: Then, what about taijutsu? I'm not very good at that.
Todou: Ah, with that sort of appearance, how could Chizuru practise taijutsu?
Toudou: At least change it to a method that involves blinding the eyes with sand or something like that.
Harada: Why are these only for attacking?
Okita: It can't be helped. This is about what Chizuru-chan wants to do.
Harada: Wouldn't that make Chizuru seem like an aggressive/belligerent woman?
Okita: Wouldn't that be surprising? A cool Chizuru-chan.
Toudou: That wouldn't cool. Chizuru should be cu....
Harada: Eh. You can't say she's cute even if she's not in front of you?
Toudou: Kuh! Shut up! Cu-Cute. Chizuru is very cute!
Okita: Hehmm. Since Heisuke said that out loud, Chizuru-chan is looking over here.
Toudou: Uah! It's nothing! Sorry, Chizuru! It's really nothing!
Okita: You're just complimenting here, so there's no need for you to panic this much. In fact, people will be suspicious of you saying something bad about her.
Toudou: Ggh!
Saito: Souji! Stop teasing him.
Okita: It's too much to blame me for doing this, isn't Sano-san gilty of committing the same crime?
Harada: I'm not teasing him.
Toudou: Ah... I feel so tired now.
Saito: Let’s get back to the original point. What should be done to make Yukimura happy?
Okita: What does Hajime-kun think would be good? From the very beginning, you were just listening without saying a word and not expressing your own opinions.
Saito: Although I've been thinking about this for a while, I haven't been able to think of anything.
Nagakura: Apart from training with a sword, what other thing can be done to make Chizuru-chan happy? And that be done indoors and isn't dangerous?
Okta: How about everyone singing children's songs together? A group of adults singing children's songs would be very interesting and exciting.
Harada: That'd be so exciting, that I wouldn't want to imagine that, though it's true that you can't do that at headquarters.
Okita: Just imagine Hijikata-san singing a children's song. I might end up laughing so much that my face would get cramps.
Nagakura: The only one who can probably sing children's songs without it feeling out of place with is Kondou-san.
Toudou: In the end, Souji just wants to tease Hijikata-san.
Okita: That isn't the case. If we try this, maybe he'd say "that makes recall the happiness from my childhood."
Nagakura: Indeed, he might say that…
Harada: Calm down, Shinpachi! Are you really going to sing?
Saito: Nn. If she's happy, it would be a small matter.
Harada: Saito, you calm down too! If you suddenly say "let's sing children's songs" Chizuru will get confused!
Nagakura: That’s right. Do you have any other good ideas....
Okita:....
Saito:....
Toudou: What exactly does Chizuru like?
Harada: If you think about it, we have no idea about what Chizuru likes.
Okita: Hm, she didn't talk much about herself.
Toudou: What can we do to make Chizuru happy?
.........
Hijikat: Hah.... hey, you guys! What were you talking about
Okita: Something that is to be kept secret from Hijikata-san.
Hijikata: What did you say?!
Saito: No, it was nothing like that.
Okita: Hm, as expected, asking her would be the fastest way. Come here, Chiruzu-chan.
(footsteps)
Toudou: Ah! Idiot! Souji!
(stops)
Toudou: It's nothing, Chizuru! We're not talking about you! Ah!
(Chizuru falls) [or that's my assumption since it sounds like she runs into Heisuke while something metallic falls down]
Toudou: So-Sorry, Chizuru.
Hijiakta: Ha, seriously, what are you doing? Are you alright, Chizuru? Here, your hairpin.
(Hijikata givers her the kanzahi)
Hijikata: Hah... Your hair, which had been done up into a bun, is all messed up. Can you call Osen? She can help you with your hair again.
(door opens and closes after Chizuru leaves)
Hijikata: Hey, Heisuke, why are you so panicked? Did you do something that you're ashamed of?
Toudou: It's not like that! It's just that she suddenly came close that I panicked. We were talking about asking Chizuru about what a woman/girl would do.
Harada: We got sidetracked halfway though.
Hijikata: Things that women do?
Okita: It's quite pitiful that she always has to wear men's clothes, so we just wanted to do something for her. But it appears that Demon Vice-Commander-san doesn't think that.
Hijikata: Did I say that?
Okita: Then exactly what will Hijikata-san do for Chizuru-chan?
Hijikata: Oh. You're asking what to do... Overdoing will instead make her feel concerned. Just let her do whatever she wants.
Toudou: But...
Hijikata: In any case, wouldn't it be better if you all paid more attention to her? Regardless of how beautiful the kimono is, it's boring to be left alone.
Okita: Hm...
Hijikata: What? If you have something to say to me, just say it.
Okita: How are we supposed to react when you say such an ordinary thing?
Hijikata: You bastard, no matter what I say, you're going to find some fault with me, aren't you?!
Harada: Hah... it's going to start all over again.
----to be continued----
havent started track 4 yet and while i do hope to get a start on it today... im not sure how likely that'll be since i'll be on the road waaaay later today and i get incredibly nauseous while in a car... and am usually feeling that way hours after exiting said vehicle.
Suppose I could just post track 5 and 6 any time though.... 😅

[2024.09.15] Yuzuru Hanyu’s Thoughts on the Noto Reconstruction Support Show: “Delivering a wave of energy from this place”
Tumblr media
On the 15th, a charity performance titled "Challenge" to support the reconstruction of the Noto Peninsula was held in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture. The event featured Yuzuru Hanyu (29), two-time Olympic gold medalist in men's figure skating, along with other skaters such as Takahito Mura, Akiko Suzuki, and Satoko Miyahara. They collaborated with the traditional Japanese drum group Taiko Toranosuke and the calligraphy club of Noto High School to create a performance aimed at supporting those affected by the severe damage from the January Noto Peninsula earthquake. Due to venue constraints, the show was livestreamed, and the proceeds from both the live and on-demand streams will be donated to Ishikawa Prefecture.
After the performance, the four skaters spoke with the media. Here are their comments:
- Can each of you share your thoughts on what you wanted to convey through your performance?
Mura: It is not easy to hold a charity event, even if it is just once, but we were able to hold the event with the help of Yuzu-kun. I feel that it was very meaningful for me to skate here, and I hope that I could convey the message of “It's going to be OK,” which is in the lyrics of the song “San San” that I skated, to the audience and many others who watched the stream this time. I participated in this event with the hope that the audience would find the energy to face tomorrow and move on to the next step.
Hanyu: I know there are people from all walks of life who are watching the event, some who are suffering and others who are doing okay. I skated with the hope that, even just a little, it could spread smiles among those watching.
Miyahara: I am happy that I was able to participate in this charity show, an opportunity that does not come along very often. I performed with the hope that my skating could be of some help to people.
Suzuki: Every time an earthquake like this happens, I feel so powerless. However, I hoped that we could convey something meaningful through this opportunity. With that feeling in my heart, I skated with all my might today. Thank you for this opportunity.
- I’d like to ask Hanyu-san. Since becoming a professional, have there been any changes in how you approach disaster-stricken areas or what you feel you can do?
Hanyu: For me, one of the major goals I had, alongside winning two Olympic gold medals, was to start supporting and caring for disaster-stricken areas from here on out, so I've always worked hard at my sport. Now that I’ve finally turned professional, I’m gradually beginning to focus my heart on disaster areas and various calamities. I am a skater first and foremost, so I thought I would like to support people, to help them emotionally, through my performance. For example, "Notte Stellata" is about various disasters that occur from time to time, including the 3.11 earthquake. This time, we specifically did it as a charity for the earthquake in the Noto region.
- I don't think Hanyu has had many opportunities to perform "Haru yo, Koi" with such bright lighting.
Hanyu: First of all, the reason why we considered to perform without lighting (spotlight) was to minimise the budget and donate as much money as possible to the charity. The primary goal was to keep the scale as small as possible. Ultimately, we decided to go without show lighting to reduce production costs, which gave the performance a different look. I’m happy that regular viewers could experience a different perspective, and for us, performing for charity also brought a completely different emotional experience, and we performed with a clear intention directed specifically towards the people of the Noto region.
Suzuki: It’s been a while since we performed without show lighting. I felt like I was being watched as I made my entrance, but it was also very refreshing to skate today.
- Please tell us about the finale, "Que Sera Sera".
Hanyu: Personally, I really like Mrs. GREEN APPLE. The song itself has a kind of Okinawan "nankurunaisa" spirit (T/N: “everything will be alright in the end”). Akiko Suzuki-san choreographed it with the feeling of telling yourself to move forward no matter what happens. I feel that we all really cherished the vocals and each note of the song, and skated with hope in our hearts.
- When you skated to "Haru yo, Koi," it seemed like you lowered your upper body into the ice more than usual.
It's a technique called hydroblading, and it is originally intended at that level in the program, so there's nothing particularly profound about it, but even though this site, and the surrounding area itself, wasn't an area that suffered major damage, the region as a whole suffered particularly severe damage; or to put it more broadly, the ground around here shook violently, so I felt like I wanted things to calm down.
- The memory of the Noto earthquake is fading. I think it was meaningful for Hanyu to skate. Please tell us your thoughts on this again.
Hanyu: Just like with the 3.11 disaster, the farther we are from the capital, the less coverage it receives, and progress tends to make the news only occasionally. It's an area where reconstruction is slow and the road restrictions are much greater than in normal places, so I think it must be really tough, both when I saw the news and when I went there in person. It's difficult for us to do much about the fading memory of the disaster, but as I said earlier, I wanted to support disaster relief and achieve back-to-back Olympic titles, to use this achievement in a positive way, to use this fame to contribute, and the same goes for those who bought tickets to the stream this time, I hope to be of some help, even if just a little, whether through money or attention.
- I heard that you actually visited the disaster area and interacted with the junior high school students. What did you say to them during that time?
Hanyu: I've had many opportunities to see the current situation on the news and in the newspapers, but when I actually saw it in person, I was very shocked to see how much of it was left as it was. I can’t make any deep comments on whether it’s making progress or not, but I felt that the scars were still very raw. The local people also said that time had stopped, and that they still remember "this happened here" every time they go there, or that "this place was destroyed." I also heard them say "I don't want to go back there." That really struck me deeply, and it was painful.
When I met the children, I told them that no matter how difficult things may be, eventually, you have to do something when the time comes. No matter how much they don't want to do it, no matter how much they fail to make progress, when the deadline comes, they still have to move forward. I said this to them. It’s been more than six months since the disaster, and I think people are thinking about what they can do and what progress is being made. Sometimes things will come in their own time, and if they don’t, there’s nothing you can do but accept it. However, I hope that within that acceptance, there are still plenty of smiles and hard work put into it at that time.
- Please tell us why it was important to you to skate in Ishikawa even in the form of a live stream.
Hanyu: When we first decided to do this broadcast format, we could have skated in other regions, and I think we could have done a lot of different things if we had wanted to. However, I wanted to skate as close as possible to those who have suffered, those who are currently struggling, and those who are facing various difficulties. We really feel the power of the region and the atmosphere on site while we skate, so I wanted to honour the importance of that atmosphere and hoped that, even a little, the energy from this place would resonate and reach everyone through the broadcast.

Samba Da Volta (First Look)
I may not have a full fic for you this year, but I have part of a fic! That’s gotta be something. This is an excerpt from a story I’ve been writing called Samba da Volta (Samba of Return). Even though this isn’t the full thing, I still wanted to share it with the fandom and get some initial reactions.
This story takes place in an alternate universe where Suzuki and Sugiki were in love in high school, but separated when Sugiki moved for university. Sugiki has now returned to his hometown for the summer and meets Suzuki again. You don't need much context other than that, so I hope you enjoy!
It is also available on AO3, but if you don't want to open the link, the text will be under the cut.
Happy 10 Dance Day!
(Excerpt from Samda Da Volta, chapter 2 - Samba E Amor (Samba and Love)
-
Back in the present, the scenes of Sugiki’s high school days were replayed as he browsed through the aisles of the convenience store. The location and layout were the same, even down to the benches and tables outside, just that the store changed names. Of course, Sugiki didn’t expect there to be no change over almost a decade, but it was a peculiar feeling to come back to something that no longer existed in its original state. The same went for Suzuki-kun; he still hadn’t figured out how to face this man whom he knew so much yet so little about at the same time. They severed their bond many years ago, but never completely. They never had a big dramatic breakup like other high school sweethearts. He’s certainly gotten more handsome as he aged… thought Sugiki, then shook his head to avoid that line of thinking. It was late, past 11 PM, and his mind was not to be trusted with emotional thinking at late hours. He sighed, and placed his small basket of snacks onto the checkout counter. Just as he was taking out his credit card, a hand got in the way.
“I’ll pay for him, Auntie. Ring these up for me too, won't you?” A cheerful voice to Sugiki’s right chimed in, dropping half a dozen pack of beer right next to Sugiki’s basket. The cashier’s eyes brightened at the sight of him.
“Shinya! Haven’t seen you in a while, how are your sisters?” She said as she rang up the six-pack. “They’re good, noisy as ever. I heard your leg is all better now. Good for you!” That topic opened up a can of worms, and the middle-aged woman started a long story of her leg injury. Half-listening, Suzuki turned to the dark-haired man and gave him an innocent look with raised eyebrows and a half-smile, “Hey,” he said quietly.
Sugiki was not amused or charmed, evident by his sideward glance and thin mouth. The man in question wouldn’t know, but running into him right after thinking about his attractiveness was a little embarrassing for Sugiki, even at his age. “I’ll pay for myself, thank you very much.”
“Come on, have a drink with me. I can’t finish this all by myself.”
“Then you shouldn't have bought that much.” For a moment, it was as if they were picking up right where they left off the other night, teasing each other with no real meaning to it. Sugiki answered his own question from earlier; maybe this is how he should treat Suzuki-kun, try to be friends again, especially when he made it so easy. He stepped aside and allowed the blond man to pay, then went outside with the snacks and beverages as Suzuki finished up his conversation with the cashier.
Suzuki followed the dark-haired man with his eyes, then quickly came back to the cashier to bid her goodnight. As he stepped out into the humid air and pulled up a stool opposite Sugiki, he wondered: does he still remember this place? They met up here countless times after school, took turns treating each other to snacks, he had to remember. But a lot had happened over time, Suzuki only remembered because this place was so hard to avoid. Sugiki, quietly eating his cookies, sat facing the bench behind the store. He stared mindlessly at it, the memory of their first kiss so far away yet so close by. In fact, that memory was sitting less than half a meter away from him. When he turned to look at Suzuki, he was surprised to find him staring back.
“... Nothing. You have quite a sweet tooth,” the man gestured to the wafers and cookies (most of them chocolate-flavored) on the table and smoothly reached over for a can of beer. Sugiki got defensive about his choice of late-night snacks, “I was in the mood for it,” he said with a slight pout. Suzuki found it cute but thought it best to not tell him.
“What?”
He tried picking up the conversation and asked about the trip to the hospital. It was quite disheartening to get a one-sentence response, and soon they found themselves listening to the cicadas again. That topic ended pretty quickly, thought Suzuki as he ate some more of the snacks to keep himself looking busy. What were they supposed to talk about now? Their meeting last time ended awkwardly, and there was only so much to catch up on. Maybe it was a mistake to ask Sugiki to stay. Maybe he was still the self-confident teenager, scrambling to come up with words in front of Sugiki.
Out of nowhere, the dark-haired man spoke, “Hey, can I ask you something?” Suzuki shifted his body so that he was facing the table now. “Hm?”
“I don’t know if you remember, but I was being really petty to you the other day you came for dinner.”
“Oh, I don’t even remember that, you’re good.”
Sugiki shrugged, “Still, that wasn’t nice. But I mean it; it’s good to know she has someone… She always looked lonely to me.” After a few days of rumination, he realized that his mother was not a social person. While he had Suzuki to rely on after his father’s passing, he couldn’t recall who Sayaka turned to. All of a sudden, he sympathized with that loneliness, even if she had turned him away back then.
“You too,” Suzuki blurted out, catching him off guard. Sugiki rushed to defend himself, “Me? No, that’s only because I’m here. I’m not like this with friends.”
“I guess I wouldn’t know. It’s not like you have any other friends here.”
“How would you know? Maybe I do,” teased Sugiki, rejecting the label put on him. Suzuki took the retort at face value. Did he have other friends here? The ones he could think of had all moved out of town, as far as he knew. “Do you?” he shot Sugiki a doubting look. A playful smile crept onto his face, “...no,” leaving the two laughing quietly.
Suzuki stood up to tidy the table, “Well, if you’re not gonna be doing anything while you’re here, we might as well hang out more. Get dinner sometime.”
“I don’t know… I still have to work on my research even if I’m out of town.” The blond man scoffed at the answer and turned around. Sugiki’s bookishness never once stopped being annoying. “That can’t take up all your time.” Before Sugiki could come up with a witty comeback, he continued, “Stop being a nerd. I'm free after I get off Friday afternoon. Come to my house, I'll cook you something.”
Sugiki got up, eyes level with the other man; Suzuki’s lopsided smile took him back to a simpler time. It would be dishonest to refuse after all the persuasion.
“Alright, fine. Friday. You can text me your address later.” The two parted ways back to their homes. Sugiki hummed as he walked now that there was something to look forward to.
