What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?*

today my beautiful girlfriend told me she loves me and she cares about me and somehow all the salt has been purged from my heart. i tried to shit talk and all that came out was, "and i love the people who do ship this ship, i wish you all the best, i can kinda understand the appeal,"

but the most popular ships (results may vary based on locale) are iruazu, irumeri, and what, iru...cla? people ship irucla.

i fail at writing iruazu. i am plagued by the thought that, "well, i would feel like shit if my partner wasn't able to trust me with their backstory," and the manga itself says 'azu likes iruma!' more often than it deigns to mention that iruma cares about him too, and i just enjoy it more when clara is also a part of the story, because, like, SHE IS ALSO THEIR BEST FRIEND. write what you like but i like clara. she's cute and caring and she could kick your ass if she felt like it and i enjoy The Bickering.

so i get distracted when i try to think about iruazu.

irumeri is chikuwabu to me. it is there. i disliked it and now i dislike it less. it would be nice to find an irumeri fic that really draws me in, or something.
