This yall's kingmaker, one of the 13 crowns, possibly a Tet (9) level demon? (He definitely is atleast Chet-8 but his position as kingmaker makes me think that he might even be Tet, although we don't have any confirmations for his rank yet, do we?)

About chapters 365-366

I just find it so, so, so interesting to see another member of the Amy family, especially in this context!!! It gives us some insight into the wider relationships between families in the Netherworld.

I find it particularly fitting that the Naberius and the Amy families are allies. While at first I was surprised to see another Amy demon, it actually makes so much sense that they are both in the "demonazi" faction represented by Naberius Narnia.

1. Both families are affluent, distinguished, and feared by others. This clearly makes them favorable towards the status quo: the powerful on top, the "weak" on the bottom.

2. Related to the point above, both families have a role in the current functioning of the Netherworld, and specifically they have the role of protectors. The Amy Clan because of their Barrier bloodline ability, and the Naberius Clan because they're guard dogs. Not only any major change would be an existential threat to their families, but "protection" (as in being conservative) is literally their job.

3. Both clans are known for being gifted in terms of magic. While this is a natural characteristic based on mostly luck (and maybe eugenics via marriage, but this is my speculation), they treat it as something that makes them better than other families, and deserving of their social standing.

4. They force this vision of the world into their children, and have high expectations for them, to the point of being violent if they do not conform and/or causing suffering to them in the process of confirming that they are worthy.

And I find it so interesting to then think about the reaction of their younger members. Kiriwo, having been rejected, rejected in turn the Amy Clan's hierarchical ideals and became an active anarchist (a chaotic evil one, but still an anarchist). Kalego seemed to accept the status quo, but as we saw in chapter 319, his priority is now Babyls, not his family, so he's ready to clash with them. I honestly had never thought of those two as somewhat parallels before...

I'm so hyped about the next chapters!!!

So you guys know how Iruma is canonically 158cm (5'2ish) and Kiriwo is 162cm (5'4ish), so they're only 4cm (2 in) apart in height

We don't know how much taller Iruma got (it was probably only a little bit), but I just remembered this panel exists and I was like "HUH????? SINCE WHEN DID KIRIWO GET THAT MUCH TALLER THAN HIM????"

So I did the math and,,,,,,

Ignore that they're so far to one side BUT KIRIWO IS BASICALLY A FULL FOOT TALLER THAN IRUMA NOW??????????? (And yes I did take into account the heels on their shoes and adjust accordingly)

If you can't read my shitty handwriting it says "188.4cm (6'2)?!?!" pointing to Kiriwo and "159.1cm (5'2½)" pointing to Iruma

Dude I fucking loved the latest M!IK character, and I really enjoyed this Clara arc because if I haven’t said it enough I LOVE Clara

She’s this fun comic relief and is also a very charming girl. Clara is fun and always there to lighten the mood yet is written in a way that doesn’t sacrifice her personality and emotional depth. And that’s one of the things I am loving about this arc, we get a look into Clara’s feelings. Adding a depth to her character I didn’t even know I wanted. I also love how focused it’s been on her different relationships within the soulmate trio, and that Az was the one to snap her out of it by reassuring her that he loves her. ( even if he doesn’t use those words exactly). They banter but really it’s showing how well they know each other. After all you can’t make fun of friend’s weird habits without being around them enough to pick up on them. And I love the Clara actually gets to cry out her feelings, because sometimes you really need that. And the way both of them reassure Clara and hold her is so sweet.

They are soulmates your honor!!

(I’m also just a little worried about the whole Iruma disappearing bit. Foreshadowing 👀 probably. Especially with that human deportation act looming in the background. I have a feeling that Iruma might be leaving in the near future but we’ll see)

C'est intéressant de voir que l'evil cycle de Clara s'oppose à l'un de ses premiers désirs en arrivant à l'école Babyls. Elle voulait se faire des amis et se faire apprécier et être apprécié en retour tout en continuant leurs pitreries ensemble. En revanche là, c'est plus l'amie obsessionnel, limite une yandere platonique ! Elle les garde dans sa dimension de poche, les isolant dans une boîte où ils pourront rien faire, les admirant en s'assurant qu'ils l'aiment et proclamant qu'elle fait tout ça par amour pour eux. L'intérieur de sa dimension n'est plus accueillant ou chaleureux se rapprochant plus d'un côté Alice au pays des merveilles même les peluches aux premiers pages pleurent.

It's interesting that Clara's evil cycle goes against one of her first desires when she arrived at Babyls. She wanted to make friends and be liked and appreciated in return, while continuing their antics together. Now, however, she's more of an obsessive friend, bordering on a platonic yandere! She keeps them in her pocket dimension, isolating them in a box where they can do nothing, admiring them, making sure they love her and proclaiming that she's doing all this out of love for them. The inside of her dimension is no longer welcoming or warm, more akin to Alice in Wonderland, even the stuffed animals on the first pages are crying.

Okay okay, SO let’s talk about the latest chapter of Iruma kun because the lore is JUICY. Spoilers for chapter 358. This also leaves me with even more questions while answering some I had before. So I actually had a post planned where I was going to ask why Delkira received a special and sublime classroom to begin with. I wondered if maybe he was a previous demon king’s son and maybe that was why he was already revered. But NOPE it seems not likely. It’s still possible, I just got the vibe was that he was miraculous in his achievements and power. So it kind of answers that question but we still have no info on his family, the king’s classroom, or how he was able to achieve so much. On the other hand we got some VERY VERY interesting lore on Mephisto-pheles. It also explains why he gave this task to Iruma since he obviously sees the potential for him to surpass Delkira in the future. He wants Iruma to know what it takes to be in power, somewhat as an advisor role like he has been for previous kings. By assisting a king you can understand how to rule. And by building up a country, you can know what it takes to lead a country. I already guessed that since he was already interested in Iruma. But this just adds an extra layer to why he is as fascinated by him as he is. GOD NISHI IS SO GOOD AT WRITING LORE. I ASPIRE to write something with as much depth and intricacies as this manga. She is my inspiration truly 🙏🏽

Like, look at Mephisto’s face here compared to after he met Iruma. Different face but same vibe.

Now, going back to Delkira one, we get to see more of his personality and he’s so much like Iruma!!!!! No wonder everyone and their fucking mom keeps being like, “damn why tf do I see Delkira in him.” Neither strive for power for power’s sake, instead they strive for power because they see it as a step forward in their goal and desires. They both want to find their own path rather than it just being given to them. It really shocked me at first that Delkira turned Mephisto down but it actually makes so much sense why everyone is enamored by him. That is the most undemon like thing he could have done, he had the perfect opportunity to gain all the power in the world in a quick and easy way. Any other demon would have killed for that chance. They are so fucking alike and it makes me want to rage. I love it so much, I love that we are getting to see more of him as time goes on. Him and Iruma even have the same smile! Like come on.

He even has similar jesters to Iruma!!!! This flashback is making me rethink my theories about him and his connection to Iruma. Ughhhh, I’m so fucking happy about this. Also, this nothing to do with anything but look at Delkira’s cunty lil outfit. This sheer shirt? Rolled up uniform jacket he has popped open. These tight pants with a weird belt design? I would be Delkira’s number one supporter is all I’m saying. He’s babygirl just like Iruma. Maybe that’s the requirement to be the next powerful demon king, you have to serve mother fucking CUNT if you want to rule. Anyway, I think there was more I wanted to say but I got distracted with my rant lol. I just love this lore so much, I love how Nishi handles lore drops (especially with characters) and seeing more of Delkira because I am so fascinated with him and must know more.
