still don't know if it's legit or not, im just posting this so i can come back to it later, but multiple sources across multiple platforms (reddit, twitter, discord, youtube, etc.) are claiming to have seen TADC on netflix earlier today, under 'worth the wait'. it seems to only be a US (and maybe UK?) thing, and it's since been taken down after people started posting about it. did anyone here see it while it was apparently still up?

there was apparently a link to the preview, which eventually turned into a "lost your way?" page. but now, it just redirects you back to netflix's home page. some people are also claiming TADC was only visible on the tv and app versions of netflix, not pc.

at first, i thought this was just a very well done photoshop with some decent editing skills, but with at least 7 different people over multiple platforms with photo/video/screenshots of it happening, it's hard to think it could be fake. the images all show different netflix title lineups, and having to edit together that many individual images and videos for a bit seems like a lot of effort.

we've been reassured that TADC will remain free on youtube (cube said it in the glitch inn) after this news came out, but there was no clarification on whether this news is legit or not, which.... if it was fake, id assume that would be an easy "no, this isnt real" answer, right? but we didnt get that?

what concerns me the most is that glitch has said they didnt want to partner with streaming services in the past, so why would they be changing their mind now? would this just be a 'netflix hosts the show but has no input' deal, or would netflix now have involvement with the show's production?

if this is real, i can at least hope it's that first option. as stupid as it is to host a FREE show on your PAID streaming service, as long as theyre not involved with TADC, i dont care what netflix does. theyd be paying glitch money to host it, and that money would go towards show production. seems like a win-win situation for both parties, as dumb as it sounds.

but in the end we still dont have any answer on if it's real or not. we'll just have to wait for either glitch, netflix, or someone else involved to clarify the truth. maybe it's all fake, and someone really did go through the effort to edit together this many photos and videos, and have that many alt accounts.

i just wanted to post this here, both so if it's fake we can at least respect the effort put in, and just in case anyone here on tumblr saw it before i could (all this happened before i woke up this morning, so i didnt get a chance to check netflix myself).

I'm not entirely sure if you mean these pictures, but it's my best guess (sorry if I'm about to go off on a totally wrong tangent, just reply & I'll update it if you meant something else).

These pictures were taken by two sisters in Singapore (Samantha & June) who skipped school to wait at the airport while the band was leaving in August 2008 and got to chat with the guys for a while. 

The pics caused a lot of heated discussion in the fandom, though… people were upset with how some fans were taking the whole Ryden joke too seriously and even bringing it up irl (a couple fans had previously photoshopped pictures of the guys kissing and legit showed them). So some people thought that these pics were rude, crossed a major line, and embarrassed the fandom. It’s true that the guys were often trashed online for being “mean” if they didn’t go along with whatever fans wanted from them, so maybe they did feel stuck in a tricky spot with these pictures. Who knows. Most of the Ryden fans in 2008 were well aware that Ryden was a fandom joke, so a lot of people (especially fic authors) came to Samantha’s defense claiming nobody actually believed that Ryden was real and these pictures were fine because everyone was on the same page etc.

So this really was just meant to be in good fun. The girl who took the pictures said it seemed like the guys were humoring her & her sister (even though Jon’s doing a thumbs-down in the corner of Bden’s pic). Plus, Zack actually allowed them to do this… there was also a “Ryan loves Bden” sign that Zack shot down right away. I guess at the very least this shows how good the guys were with their fans!

I impulse bought an art print on Etsy for my bathroom. The seller's about page said they used to sell hand drawn pieces before they opened their own print shop, and now they sold prints. That seemed legit enough for me. A few days pass, and something is nagging me. Maybe it's simply that I hardly ever impulse buy. Either way, I look at the item page again. I read the item description all the way through.

At the very end, it states that the print is hand made, but "enchanced" with "digital generation."

I messaged the seller, asking them to confirm the print isn't made with AI. I lied and said I read the description before buying but thought the digital enhancement part was in reference to Photoshop. I said the idea of AI just crossed my mind. I bluffed and claimed I was sure Etsy's policy on AI was that it had to be explicitly stated. I said I thought AI was unethical and didn't want to accidentally buy it because of unclear language.

The seller responded back that they wouldn't be able to ship by the date I requested and would cancel the order. The order was canceled immediately. I messaged back and said I never said anything about a specific date, I just wanted to know about AI. No response.

I go back to the item page, and the description has been changed. It now admits that the work is created with the aid of AI.

Yes, another default replacement is working. ✅

I'm making default replacement mesh & texture mod for replacing Spring Rolls that EA horribly made. The GeoStates (Full, Half, Empty) are all working.

I need time to finish this CC/Mod because the custom Spring Rolls still not looking right and not realistic enough, must be because the image I took for texture is from internet and too bright & over-saturated. The transparent still doesn't working although I use Alpha .dds.

I have to eat real Spring Rolls in real life to see how the actual Spring Rolls should look like.

Reason why I made the default replacement:

To Westerners/non-Asian people, I remind you that actual Spring Rolls look like these.

No matter in what condition and which Asian country.... Spring Rolls are put in one plate and separated from other meals. We're Asians (Chinese & Southeast Asians) do not add noodles to a plate of Spring Rolls. Spring Rolls are just Spring Rolls on plate. There might be leaf decoration, but not another carbohydrate such as noodles on same plate。 In making of Spring Rolls, skin and filling, there is no egg used.

We had our team Christmas party/goodbye Ruth do today. and I need to show you what my friend at work made me for a leaving present because even for him it's a work of mad genius, I was just sitting there like WHAT. WHAT IS HAPPENING.

so you know, I get leaving gifts from my team, it's lovely, notebooks, pens, gift card, fond farewells, it's lovely, people say nice things about me

then my friend Zain says "I also got you something"

Now the thing to know about Zain is his party acumen is legendary. every year we're all resigned from the off to losing at Secret Santa because his gifts are insane. last year he made his secret santa a custom play set of one of our services in a branded box with tiny props. this year he made a custom Ken doll and box representing our colleague and it has a tiny collection bucket and a "collect them all!" sticker on the back where he'd found pictures of Barbies and Kens that looked like the rest of the Fundraising team. we'd just got done with a quiz where he made a custom video package, a Family Feud round with buzzers, and TWO Photoshop picture rounds. once. ONCE. we asked him to facilitate a team meeting and he wrote and animated a theme song. the man is insane. everything he does is so thoughtful, so labour intensive, and also so off the wall weird.

so I'm intrigued. especially since all he's holding is an envelope.

he says "I got you something. It's kind of an experience."

and hands me this letter.

THE DEVICE then makes loading noises, and instructors me to open THE DEVICE to see the contents of the discs.

inside the box, there are 4 gifts, each corresponding to a floppy disc and also to a conversation we've had at some point in the last 2.5 years.

Seren's Studies: Odd Squad UK -- "Three is the Oddest Number" Episode Followup, Part 1

Well, ladies and gents and human beings...it's here. The finale of Odd Squad UK. Given PBS's track record with this franchise, I'm going to just deem it the series finale until some news decides to slap me in the face that the show got renewed for a Season 2/Season 5. And that's assuming it actually does.

This is a three-parter (considering "Should Odd Acquaintance Be Forgot" is chopped in two parts), so I'll be tackling this episode and hopefully get to the other two tonight. Maybe. Hopefully. I'm not exactly confident nor excited to see how it ends, but nearly anything could be better than the trainwreck that was "Odd Together Now". And never forget that I took a fucking bullet for all of you who watch Season 3 because I watched that shit early. (Funny to think that I had a big old speech for my Seren Reacts video about how the show's ending...and how it aged poorly. Didn't even get to do a final run on it!)

But enough talk! Let's have at this episode below the break.

I posted most of it. I didn't post what I wasn't given permission to post. THE PICS OF SAM AND THE WOMAN LEAVING HIS HOTEL IN NEW YORK WERE GIVEN TO ME BY ONE OF THESE 4 IDENTIFIABLE SOURCES. The source who gave me the pics is not an Anon, she is someone identifiable and KNOWN to me. That is why I knew the pics were legit, and that's why I posted them.

To PROVE this is the TRUTH, below are my DMs with her when she sent me the pics. I've blacked out her name to protect her identity from the bullies in this fandom. I've also whited out parts of the original pics she sent me because I don't want them reposted without my watermark. My watermark says "@p-redux via Anon source." I thought it was clear the source wants to remain Anon to others, BUT she is not Anon to me. I know who she is. I thought this was obvious. 🤦‍♀️
